Witchcraft: Where to start

🌿What is magic?🍄

Magic is in everything. Everything we do, feel, and encounter is infused with it. That golden glow you feel when you are laughing with a good friend, the feeling of going barefoot in the grass. It’s all around us, all the time. A witch’s job is to learn how to harness that feeling for yourself, for others, and for the surrounding community. Harnessing that power can be incredibly empowering, helping you find control with an otherwise uncontrollable world. Witchcraft, simply put, is self-care and community care. 

🔮Why choose the craft? 

Well, that’s the beauty of the craft, that’s all up to you! There are a lot of reasons a person may choose to follow this past and connect to the energy and magic around them. This is something for you to sit with, meditate on and decide for yourself. Maybe people get into the craft to connect to something deeper, some want a structured routine in their spirituality, and others use the craft to look outward to help their loved ones and their community. But that’s the beauty of it all, all paths are valid, as long as you are staying true to yourself. Sitting and meditating on this will help you decide the direction to point your path as you start. Those you want to commune with nature and wildlife may to compelled to look into green witchcraft, while those who want to use the craft to nourish, protect and care for their loved ones, may be moved to look into kitchen witchery, and divination. Every craft is unique, but we all have to decide our first steps ⭐

Okay, Where do I go from here?

So, you have thought about why you want to practice, and you have an idea of the direction you want to go, what now? The world of witchcraft can feel overwhelming in the beginning, and that’s understandable. But there are lots of little ways to start that help you get your toes in the water so to speak, but I like to suggest finding ways to incorporate your craft into your daily life. Mindfulness meditation, simple sigils, or crystals that call to you are all great places to start, but the options are endless. 

In the end, the journey is all yours. We all navigate the world of witchcraft at our own pace, so don’t let anyone tell you how to practice (within reason!) All you have to do is let your happiness guide you to your own little corner of the magic world.

My biological parents are Severus and my bio mom Zariah, but when I was about 5 months old, they got a divorce. Severus moved back to the U.K, and me and my mom stayed in the U.S. When I was 3, she got remarried to my now step-dad Claude, and the year after that, they had my half-brother, Claude. (we call him jj) I lived in the states, 0 contact with Severus until I was 11. On my 11th birthday my mom told me that Severus always wanted to be in my life, and that she was the one pushing him away because she was afraid of me going to live with him. She gave me his phone number, and although it was awkward at first, I began to warm up to him more and more. He taught me a lot about potions and DADA, lowk he’s the only reason I passed my classes at Ivermourny. I started visiting him during breaks to make up for lost times. At the end of my 3rd year at Ivermourny, I asked my mom if I could go to Hogwarts, and live with Severus for the rest of my schooling, and visit her on holidays. She blew up at me and it was the longest we had gone without talking to each other, but after a month and a half of Claude trying to convince her, she finally gave in. She and Claude met with Severus in person, a month before term, and decided on ground rules and communication, and finally got everything settled. I stay with Severus the month before school starts to get robes and get accustomed to muggle and magical England.

🎀 [LIFE AT HOGWARTS ! ]

Dorms: Students are 4 to a dorm, which includes a bed, a desk, a closet, 2 mini fridges, and 2 bathrooms. Once a student is assigned a dorm, the dorms decorate themselves to fit those students tastes. You and your dormmates also choose a password for your specific dorm room. Dorms are split in half, separated by gender, and in alphabetical order. All students are to be in a dorm by 11PM, and failure to do so will result in a 3 day detention at minimum. Girls and boys are allowed to be in each others dorms, but only with the permission of all students housed in said dorm room, a prefect, and the head of house. Different house sleepovers are also allowed but again with permission from both house heads, and same gender only.

About me: My name is Renée, I’m 22, I go by she/her, I have AuDHD, and am physically disabled with POTS, hEDS, and fibromyalgia. I have other interests, such as anime and video games, but this blog is focused on my spirituality.

I’m a Theistic Luciferian. My practice is pretty closeted due to living in the Bible Belt. This means I plan on remaining mostly anonymous on here.

I have been working with Lucifer since mid-2023, but have had an intense fascination with magick my whole life. I’ve encountered numerous supernatural occurrences and grew up in a house with paranormal activity. I researched Paganism off and on in high school and have always loved learning about mythology. Lucifer has watched over me my whole life, but waited until I was an adult to make his presence known.

I am “godspoused” to Lucifer and value my romantic relationship with him deeply. According to him, I’m his “fiancée” because he said he doesn’t marry humans. I’m pretty in-tune with the spiritual world and have decently strong clairs, so I am able to communicate and spend time with him often. Our relationship is more than platonic (this is where posts can be NSFW so minors DNI)

Based on my experiences and talks with Lucifer, I believe that in my past life I resided for a while in the Infernal Realm with him. I was a species there he calls infernal fae. Infernal fae are child-like and have appearances similar to cherubs. Because of this, I sometimes reblog posts related to demonkin or angelkin tags.

This blog is a personal space to keep track of my spiritual experiences and thoughts, as well as a space to engage with others who hold similar beliefs. I was previously using my notes app, but it was starting to get a bit messy/confusing so here I am. I also like reblogging other content that I particularly like, relate to, or feel others should see.

Hi! 👋🏻 I’m Axton, I am a 33 year old, transgender male who currently lives in central Ohio. I spend the majority of my nights working as a STNA (state tested nurse aide) in nursing homes and agencies. When I’m not spending my time giving back to the elderly and other individuals I’m either A) writing B) rockhounding or C) making something.

I have 2 books on kindle unlimited and as paperback on Amazon. The two aforementioned books are also on Etsy as ebooks, as Well as a prompt journal. I also have a short free political ebook available for now by email upon request until I figure out how to list it for free.

I have a lovely fiancé. We share a home, and 5 fur babies. My partner is my rock through everything life throws at me. I don’t know how I’ll ever be be able to show them just what they mean to me.

I opened a small Etsy store last year originally to sell my poem books. I now use it to do that and also to sell an array of other things. I’m a practicing witch l.
