Blog Update:

So I feel like as a silm and lotr fandom community, we’ve more or less collectively agreed that elves (and dwarves etc) are pretty queer in sexual orientation and usually falling along the pan/bi range with at least sexual experiences if not marriages. Also, I feel most of us who write are queer or at least pro-lgbtq/allies.

However, the majority of the fics - in general and insert elf(ves) x reader - are cishet pairings. And if they aren’t cishet, it’s cis mlm (which is why I absolutely adore how much trans Fingon and Maedhros exist).

Of course, just because a pairing is cishet doesn’t mean the characters themselves are (as in, Elrond is still bi regardless even if he’s having sex with a cis woman or not), but as a non-binary afab sapphic person I’m tired of not seeing more trans and enby and sapphic and ace representation. As in, visibly queer elves and their pairings.

And I originally started this sideblog to have more of that, not less.

I’m going to finish out any requests I have already along cishet veins and any NSFW alphabet requests since I usually do reader gender neutral anyway, so don’t worry about that. And Haldir and his OFC wife will probably be around to a certain extent because I kind of love her, but overall moving forward I’ve made the decision to only write visibly queer fics, imagines, etc. Eg, at least one person being gender neutral or trans or it being a non-het pairing. I may make exceptions for some polyamorous fics because that’s outside typical societal constraints, as well.

I will probably make some exceptions if someone reaches out for something specific or for a personal choice, but I’ve been thinking about this for a long time. It’s just that the majority of what I write will be visibly queer.

If you’re offended, you may want to take a look at why you’re offended. Positive representation matters, especially in a world where queer people are being increasingly persecuted and hate-crimed if you weren’t already where they live.

And again, I’ll finish out any cishet requests and I will make occasional exceptions (idk maybe it’s your birthday ya know), so please reach out if you have any questions or want to discuss.

So, the thing is..................

The show makers of The Rings of Power did their best, gave their 1000% to the buildup of hot sizzling chemistry between Halbrand aka The Dark Lord Sauron and Galadriel. In the Lord of the Rings book, there is no mention of any likeness, crush or love related feelings between these two characters for each other. But we as Fanfic smut readers who are still inhaling the polluted air of this bluish green globe, just to read some fanfics stories of our favourite fictional characters till our last breath😌, knows that it might be unintentional on behalf of show makers, but we have reached the point that we now want Sauron & Galadriel in a relationship🙈.

I know that it's impossible because they have adapted the book and want to keep their content similar to the original bookish stuff. But, Since we stupid people are shipping these two since season 1 aired, I would like to say to the show makers that you are successful in attracting the audience you wanted. And We are your audience🙂‍↕️.

Amazon Prime- We have a show called The Rings of Power. It's a prequel of the famous franchise The Lord of the Rings. The show will have characters who would likely experience an unintentional sexual tension between them, but they won't end up together.

Amazon Prime- They won't end up together. But they will still experience the chemistry between them.

Haladriel shippers- Then what's the purpose of casting such actors who would give their best to their characters. But the Audience won't get the thing they wanted.

Just some wips and sketches for my world building project, been working a lot on my elves and their stories, as well as their entire culture and background i have so many ideas I am struggling to get it all down written for other people in a way that’s coherent and well written rather than never ending ramblings 😭

First two pieces are princess Llynaira and her uncle Kendel, i am going to be finished with these two pieces next week! I will reveal more of their story and the culture they come from as I upload the pieces :3 (warning this is a dark fantasy setting and they come from a world different from our own. Been playing a lot of elden ring recently with my bf which is what inspired me for the last two sketch pages a disabled bed ridden boy who has been found by a cursed wanderer just some little ideas I am playing with, but they are gay and in love in a society where that is taboo, though both of their existences are just by being disabled and/or cursed,

I really wanted to play with the isolated feelings one can get as a queer or disabled person in a society that thinks you shouldn’t exist. And even when you come to terms with the fact society is wrong you can’t help but still carry the guilt around with you
