Ok, but can we talk about how LOVED Silver is?

Aside from Lillia managing to wake him up from his 400 year old nap, if we consider that all of his sleep attacks stem from the curse, and , therefore, have the same requirements to be broken...

Then that means that everyone that has ever woken Silver up from a sleep attack, be it during events, vignettes and the like, loves him enough to be able to break the curse.

Sebek, Malleus, Kalim, Jade, Idia, the teachers and many more. Everyone cares enough about Silver to be able to lift the curse. All through familial or platonic love (friendship, basically, we can think about ships, but that's not the case right now).

Which makes sense, he is probably the nicest student on campus, probably even ranking higher than Kalim due to his calm nature. It's easy to become his friend and worry about his well being.

Just Silver saying he is unworthy of love when the entire campus can constantly break his curse, that requires true love, with no problem.

Note: I strictly believe that Malleus has everything that it takes to be a yandere, so here are my thoughts on this:3

Malleus finds it hard to grow closer to other people, except for the few people he is already close with, he swears he's not all that scary he plays out to be, He's just very tall and intimidating, that much people know, but once you grew closer to him without knowing who he was at first, Malleus was happy to talk with someone who wasn't Lillia, Sebek or Silver.

He loved the way you would listen to him, getting so invested and adding little comments of your own here and there, his admiration for you increased after his identity was revealed, you didn't care, in your eyes he was still the same Hornton to you.

Malleus later realized that he wasn't all that fond with sharing, not when he could see the way Ace was draping his arm over your shoulders and how close the two of you were, he found it hard to contain himself.

He tries not to be selfish and seek your attention out for himself, so he makes the most out of the moments he is with you, walking closer to you, the brief longing touches, and just staring at you whenever you're not looking.

Lillia is not blind, he's lived enough years to know the meaning behind the look that Malleus gives you, he's very aware of Malleus' growing feelings for you and encourages Malleus, even helping him to get closer to you.

He's Malleus' wingman in love, he gives Malleus advice to make you his, "It's best to claim them now before anyone else can. " He had advised.

Malleus would do just that, he wanted to begin courting you officially, gifting you gifts that he find would suit you, especially if it's shiny, he seems to smile even wider when you accept it from him and hold it with such gentle care, when he comes into your room in the future and sees the gifts he's given to you displayed on your shelves he'd feel giddy at the sight.

Just imagining of you thinking of him whenever you lay your eyes on the gifts. When the prospect of you having suitors aside from him, he can't seem to blame you for you are just so irresistible and perfect in his eyes, he eliminates any potential threats to your growing relation ship, passing them all of as accidents.

Though, whenever he's with you, and he can't seem to eliminate them himself, he orders Sebek and Silver to go after them themselves, not wanting to disturb whatever the two of you had going on.

Although Sebek may be quite hesitant and very unaccepting at the fact that Malleus wants you to be his, he will not let his Master be sad or have someone else take what belongs to his master rightfully, so he does everything he his told with the pride as Malleus' guard, protecting his relationship.

Silver doesn't seem to be very bothered, he doesn't inherently agree to what's happening because of his morals, but Malleus was his Master and Lillia seemed to be all in on it, even Sebek who seemed so reluctant was doing everything to bring the two of you together, so he would just shrug and do what he's told.

Now, what manifests/testers his yandere side more is after being told that there's a possibility of you finally finding a way back home through Crowley, why would you need to go back home when home was where ever he was?

Why we're trying to get away from your future spouse? Did he do something wrong? Was it all not enough?

He didn't understand, but he tried to, when he asked you if you really were going to leave, you had explained that you had to go back to your family and friends, you needed to be back home!

"Silly child of man, whatever do you mean? You are home. " he said with an innocent smile, you we're about to ask him a question but your vision seemed to turn black after that.

Before you could fall to the ground, Malleus had catches you, wrapping his arms around you, your unconscious body leaning against his steady and calm figure.

He had picked you up in his arms and brought you back to his dorm and trapped you into his room, once he graduates this year, he'll take you back to Briar valley and even introduce you to his grandmother and announce you as his future spouse.

"Don't worry child of man, you are safe with me, and you will have everything you could ever want be given to you. Including my heart. "

I just came up with the saddest theory. What if the reason for Silver's sleepiness is because Lillia doesn't love him enough? I mean the reason he's sleepy is because of the residual magic the guardian fairy casted on him right? Where he'll sleep and only wake up by parental love. Lillia found and raised him but he still has the problem of the sleepiness. So doesn't that mean Lillia doesn't love him enough? And it's heartbreaking. Because Lillia cried when Malleus was born and he considered it his happiest moment. And he seemed nonchalant when he told Silver they're not really related in a flashback.

And I think I just wanna torture myself and others emotionally by writing this.

LISTEN I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT THE IMPLICATIONS OF SILVER'S SLEEPINESS CONSTANTLY! You have given me a chance to talk about the DiaFam and I WILL GLADLY DO SO!!! Let me torture you right back.

But before I get into it, just to be safe: DIASOMNIA BOOK SPOILERS AHEAD

Since I refuse to believe that Lilia simply doesn't love him enough, I'd rather go with the "Silver is the one who thinks being an adopted child means that he doesn't truly deserve his father's love" route.

1. Because that's still such a good angst and 2. Because the game itself tells us that's what he thinks and that *Sebek voice* HE'S WRONG! LILIA DOES LOVE HIM!!!

I do think the trigger for his pseudo-curse coming back was his realization that he's adopted. I might be remembering wrong since I usually binge the entire update as soon as it comes out and it's been months, but in Lilia's memories of raising Silver there's no mention of Silver falling sleep randomly any time before he finds out he's adopted.

And I feel like Lilia telling Silver he's adopted so casually was him just thinking "I'm obviously a fae and he's clearly a human, he should be aware of it already," plus Lilia does accept that he might have kept quiet about it because he subconsciously knew that Silver would be sad about it.

Now, Lilia's thoughts do tells us that his choice to adopt Silver in the first place was due to him wanting to set an example for Malleus. He chose to take this baby in despite knowing who his parents were, because if he wanted Malleus to grow up kind and keep the peace with humans, he should be the one to lead the way.

He still questions his relationship with baby Silver when he calls him "dad" for the first time, and the first one to point out how much he truly cares about Silver is Malleus himself when he tells him that "[Lilia] would be very sad if the baby got sick." Malleus overcame his hatred for humans because Lilia cares about one.

But the point where I feel it finally clicked for Lilia that he truly loves Silver is the acorn bracelet scene. Before this point he still felt the divide between fae and human, but then he is shocked to find out that Silver wants him to live a long happy life with him despite Silver being a human. This is the result of Lilia willingly choosing to try and love a human: the human -his son- loves him back.

And you wanna know what makes me insane? the immediate scene after this is Silver finding out he's adopted. The moment Lilia fully loves Silver is around the time Silver questions his worthiness for the first time. Also, isn't this the moment when Silver stops calling him "papa" and starts calling him "Father"?

So in conclusion: Lilia's love for Silver did not come immediately like it did with Malleus, but rather, he willingly chose to love him. The one who struggled to accept it was Silver himself.

How could he (the son of Lilia's enemies) ever compare to Malleus (the son of the people he loved, the one he shed blood sweat and tears for during hundreds of years just to be able to see him) in Lilia's eyes? And yet, what finally broke the little self-control Malleus had left was Silver's tears...

Edit: I got so caught up in the love they feel for each other that I forgot to clarify: Silver DOES accept Lilia's love as of the recent updates. This is all me rambling about their relationship, we still do not have a clear answer about the reason behind Silver's sleepiness 💔

tbh since the DIasomnia characters seem to be closer to the Maleficent version (not the animated Sleeping Beauty) the fairies probably fucked up the initial spell for Silver

Ramshackle stayed silent throughout the night, the moon and stars shining light into each room. 

All except one. 

I swear on my askbox that I am working on requests but this idea popped into my head and now it won’t leave and people always tell me to find a niche and I think my niche is angsty smut. And in this niche I will dwell ò uó. “Do you have someone special, Tsunotarou?” 

Malleus stops walking as he looks down at your frame, your eyes staring up at the sky while you both are sitting down at the step of Ramshackle. 

“Special?” 

“Yeah.” you sigh as your eyes remain fixed on the stars, “Someone special. Like someone you wouldn’t trade for the world.” 

His first thought is his Grandmother. She had taken over the role of ruler of the Valley of Thorns and had let him grow in a somewhat normal fae childhood. He had heard many stories of children being forced to take the throne early on in their life and how damaging that decision turned out to be not just for the country but for the child as well. He was glad that his Grandmother remained steadfast and strong. There was also Lillia. Lillia, despite his constant antics, was always a guiding hand for Malleus in things he did not understand. Even now, Lillia would lend an ear whenever Malleus had a question about social interaction. Whether he would get a straight answer or a joke, that was just up to the older fae. 

“I have some people I consider that important.” Malleus looks up with you, “How about you, child of man?”

Your eyes remained fixed on the stars. 

You nod, “I do.” 

He laughs, “Is it your first year friends? I am sure Sebek would be glad to hear you say that.” 

“He would yell in my face before telling me he felt the same, you know how he is.” 

You two share a giggle before letting silence take over once again. “But it isn’t like that. The way I love Ace, Deuce, Jack, Epel and Sebek is different from what I’m talking about.” 

Malleus watches your eyes shine under the bright stars, some of them being reflected on your irises as you tilt your head and lean back to let your legs stretch out. 

“I’m talking about a person who you can’t live without, you know?” 

“I’m afraid I might need a bit more of an explanation.” 

You shrug, “I can’t fully explain it without sounding crazy but…imagine you one day find yourself completely alone. There is not one single person who understands what you are going through nor do they bother because they might believe that it is too hard to comprehend. You find yourself so alone that you start getting used to that loneliness.” 

The way your eyes sadden are not lost on him, copying your movements and leaning back so that he can stretch out as well. With how you are both positioned, your fingers are almost brushing. 

That wouldn’t do. 

You continue talking, not paying attention to how Malleus places his hand over yours. 

“But one day someone comes in and changes everything.” 

He lets himself feel the fluttering in his heart, having lost himself to this feeling a long time ago. The way his heart would beat faster when you smiled, when you laughed, how you would approach him without fear. From what Lillia had said, this was something akin to falling in love with someone. When asked who it was he was falling in love with, Malleus simply shook his head and avoided answering the question. 

What he felt for you was not for anyone else to know. 

“They just ‘get’ you.” you smile and close your eyes, “Everything thought you have, they somehow complete it. Long distances become shorter when you are with them and for a brief moment time just...stops. You find yourself yearning for this person and wonder if they think about you the same way, to the point of losing sleep. You want to be to them what they are to you.” 

You tilt your head towards him. 

“Am I making any sense?” 

Malleus nods and sits up, “More than enough.” 

He stares into your eyes, your color reflected back on his as he instinctively leans closer towards you. You were building up to something, he could feel it. The feelings you described, they were identical to the ones he felt for you. It hadn’t been that long since you came into his life but he couldn’t see himself not popping by Ramshackle dorm every night to share these talks with you. Malleus wasn’t necessarily that attached to you when you two first talked but the more you sought him out the more he opened himself up for you. 

Your conversations, your little adventures, your attention. 

It was all slowly consuming him and making him realize that you were no longer a human but his human. 

The question slipped out of him faster than he could think of it. 

“Who do you speak so highly of?” 

You turn to look at him, your body leaning towards him as well that he allowed himself to dwell in his imagination for a few seconds. His own body covering yours as you wrapped your arms around him, pulling him closer and asking him to take you with him the moment he graduated from this place. 

“It’s kinda what I wanted to talk about with you tonight.” you sit up with him and grin excitedly, “Remember what I told you about Crowley trying to find a way home for me?” 

He would answer your plea, taking your hand and kissing your palm before his lips made his way up your arm. 

“Well...he finally found it.” 

Malleus is pulled out his fantasy as he blinks twice, your smile shining just as bright as the stars above despite the awful revelation you had just given him. 

“I’m going home, Malleus.” 

You used his name. A part of him hoped that you would use his name when you two were in a much different and more favorable situation but you had just used his name to stab him in the heart with your wonderful news. 

“I was just saying all this because--I can’t believe I’m telling you this--before I came here I had these feelings about this person. They are everything to me but I was almost afraid to admit it? And this distance just...it just solidified what I felt for them.” 

He has to stop himself from reaching out to you and grabbing your wrist, thinking that the moment you got too far he would lose you forever. 

“Crowley says that I am going to be able to go back next week. So I’m just preparing myself to tell them everything I felt.” You turn to him and hold out your hand to help him stand up, one of the many things that Malleus loved that you did solely because he had an excuse to touch you. 

“I think a part of me just wanted to share this with you because I trust you. We’ve talked like this for so long that I think I just...tell you everything.” you smile sheepishly, “Which I hope you don’t mind, I did just spring it out of nowhere.” 

You were leaving him. 

“Tsunotarou?” 

You were leaving him for someone else. 

“Malleus?” 

You were leaving and he couldn’t stop it. You had these sorts of feelings for someone else and he couldn’t stop it. You opened him up and you were going to close him as if you were able to make the decision without any repercussions. You weren’t theirs, you also weren’t yours, you were his---

A hand shakes him from his thoughts as he focuses in on your eyes, his heart melting when he sees panic in them. 

“What’s wrong? Are you okay? What did I do?” 

He shakes his head and smiles as he takes your hand so you both could stand up. 

“Nothing.” Malleus pats your head, your size difference being made apparent to him even more than before, “I guess this is goodbye?” 

“No need to make it dramatic.” you lean into his touch, like a pet to their owner, “I’ll find some way for us to keep in contact. And if there isn’t--well then I will make one.” 

“I feel the same.” 

Malleus looks down and digs into his school jacket, smiling when you make a comment about this being a goodbye present. He puts a finger to his lips before pulling out a spool of thread, the top of the spool decorated with a sharp needle. “Give me your hand, child of man.” 

You nod and smile, doing as he told. “Is this going to be a blood pact of sorts? You don’t seem like the type, Tsunatarou~” 

He chuckles, “It is just a customary practice in the Valley of Thorns. Something that I believe will make our connection unbreakable.” 

Malleus brings your finger closer, the tip touching the spool as he expertly pricked your finger. You hiss for a second before smiling as you wave your finger. “Strangest friendship ritual ever, but it is very you so I will gladly partake in it…” 

A feeling of vertigo overtakes you as you lose your footing, your eyes closing as you feel yourself fall to the ground but finding yourself pressed against something warm. 

“...Mal--?”

You try to look up at him but gasp softly when your legs are swept under you, Malleus picking you up bridal style as you feel your eyelids growing heavier. Almost as if it was a chore to keep them open. 

“A true unbreakable connection.” 

Malleus opens the door to Ramshackle quickly, looking behind to see if he would need to take care of any pests that had made their way to the old dorm. Without any in sight, he closed the door, the lights on Ramshackle’s doorstep snuffing themselves out as the smoke drifted up into the starry sky.

“Fgnaaa~!” Grimm yawns as he floats towards Ramshackle, yawning as he rubbed at his tired eyelids. 

Hands roaming up and down your torso, slowly undoing buttons as your hands rested on his wrists. Sloppy kisses shared between two amateurs but in between said kiss there seemed to be a forced passion, a need for the person above you to communicate how much he had wanted you. He had been caught stealing some food from Monstro Lounge and Azul had put him to work just like before, it had been a redo of what happened in Octavinelle all over again. 

Wanted wasn’t the right word, needed was the way to describe how he was feeling. His mouth traveled from your lips to your neck, your mouth opening up to let out a soft moan but being quieted down by his fingers slipping inside so they could rub against your tongue. You could barely keep your eyes open but with how you were looking at him, it almost made him believe that you were the one that initiated this. 

“Hnng?” he looks to see the lights in Ramshackle are all off, his head tilting in curiosity. When did you start going to sleep this early? 

Legs parted, eyes looking away, your chest rising up and down as his fingers pressed deep inside of you to rub and prod at whatever he found. He used his other hand to turn your face, your eyes meeting as he whispers a couple of words. A veil is cast over your eyes as he feels you open up like a flower for him. Hips grinding down to meet his fingers, arms opening to welcome him closer, his name falling from your lips making him eager to finally show you how he felt about you.

Grimm opens the door and yawns as he makes his way to the kitchen, licking his lips as he imagined what you had cooked for dinner that night. However, the only thing he finds are three deluxe tuna cans and a note that certainly wasn’t in your handwriting. 

Your hold on him is tight, legs wrapped around his waist as he sinks deeper and deeper into you. Hands in his hair, going up his horns and then traveling down as he bit at the juncture between your neck and your shoulder blade in order to keep himself from pushing all the way inside. But your warmth was calling out to him, inviting him to push deeper and deeper until all you could feel was him and him alone. 

Even with the magic affecting your brain. 

“Don’t feel so good. Going to sleep early.” Grimm sits down on the counter and frowns as he opens one of the cans and starts munching down. 

“Say you love me…” 

You gasp as you feel him push your whole body up with his first thrust, the bed creaking in protest in your ears but no sound being heard outside of your door. 

Were you sick? Grimm takes a giant bite and hums as he thinks. With him being this tired he would immediately go up to the room you two shared together and cuddle himself on your chest but if you were sick…

“I love you! I love you I love you--Malleus--!” 

The sounds were all mixing together. Your moans, his groans, the protests from the bed and the wet slaps of his body meeting yours over and over again. You were so full, all the way up to  your throat that the words he so desperately wanted to hear were spilling out despite you not remembering thinking of them. You were thinking of nothing. Every time you tried to think about what you were doing a sharp pain would stop you, instead keeping you attentive to the pleasure the soon to be ruler of the Valley of Thorns was giving you. 

“You are mine, child of man. Body and soul...all of them mine!”

“Silly human. Getting sick like that. They should be taking care of themselves.” Grimm shakes his head as he keeps on eating the tasty treats you had left behind. If you had left something this good for him, he guessed he could forgive you. 

Your toes curled as you felt something warm gush inside, lips covering your own and drinking up all the sounds you were making. He whispered something into your ear but you couldn’t quite make out what he said. Something about heirs and a kingdom. Was he telling you a story? He pulled away to look into your eyes, your brain moving your hands so that they would cup his cheek. Your comfort seemed to stir something inside him as he brought you closer, your arms now wrapped around him as you rested your forehead on his shoulder. 

Ramshackle stayed silent throughout the night, the moon and stars shining light into each room.

A Twst sci-fi au that is inspired/is in an among us like universe.

Ok, I think I got everything? @minzart

There are still imposters and humans. However the non-human characters in twst are still their respective races. Our Savanaclaw boys are still beastmen, Octavinelle still mermen/merpeople, Diasomnia still (mostly) fae/fey, you get the idea.

Well, not exactly.

In this au most of our twst boys are imposters (you'll find out why not all of them are imposters in a moment). I'm going for a kind of uncanny valley vibe where they do look like humans/beastmen/merpeople, but aren't actually that.

Anyway.

Imposters can take the shape of other races without issue and doing this is their natural way to live. Some have take certain preferences to which race they mimic, which has given the imposter race unofficial 'subspecies'—nicknames really—called beastmen imposters, mermaid/mermen imposters, and even fae or fairy imposters. Most of the time, when an impostor chooses their first form to take, they don't change it again. (This explains why our twst boys still look like themselves, and if for one reason or another they need to look like someone/something else, they can just shift back)

One of the few things that is different from an impostor and their mimicked (e.g. who or whatever they have mimicked) is that their eyes' sclera—if their current form has eyes—will always be black.

Nobody knows where the imposters came from. It is suspected that they simply boarded a ship that had landed on what was thought to be an uninhabited planet, and spread out from there. The first know reports of them were received from a number of different ships within the timespan of a few days to a few weeks.

All imposters are incredibly smart, it's what let's them blend in with the crew on a ship and not get caught. Nowadays, if you encounter an imposter on a ship—whether or not you realize it—it is more than likely that they are not new to traveling within a group of other races.

Thankfully, imposters don't eat just humans. They can, but usually it's only the particularly hostile imposters that do. Those kind of imposters are usually a little less than sane (none of the twst cast fall into this category, don't worry) or absolutely starving. They can eat other kinds of meat as long as it is raw, if they eat cooked meat it can make them nauseous.

Like when choosing a form to take, each imposter has a preference for what food they eat. Some will prefer raw steak and others prefer fish, it's unique to every imposter.

Most will try to avoid eating crew members, ever since the imposters snuck onto the ships they have figured out that as long as they don't eat any of the crew, they more than likely won't get caught.

Imposters tend to either travel alone or fall into groups of 2 to 3, however there are exceptions to this. If an impostor or imposters are... docile enough, they can and/or will adopte other kinds of races into their group.

Despite most imposters being relatively peaceful, their less than good first impression left them with a (metaphorical) bright red label on their name marking them as extremely dangerous.

Due to this, most people who are in a position of power have aimed to catch and experiment on at least one imposter. With the main goal of trying to weaponize them.

The impostors are not only in danger of getting thrown off a ship through the air lock, but also in danger of getting kidnapped by officials of the Galactic Empire (or whatever is running the show here is called) to be experimented on.

This is where Yuu and most of our non-imposter twst boys come in.

It is their job to make sure that the impostors don't get snatched and weaponized by official hands. They are apart of a group that prioritizes their safety, however, if they know an impostor can handle a situation they don't step in unless it is absolutely necessary.

It was founded by someone who wanted to protect the imposters (or at least those who deserve it) from an undoubtedly horrible fate. No normal citizen knows about the group, only the Galactic Empire's officials and people who deal with mostly illegal business do.

The Galactic Empire ever-so-fondly calls the people apart of the group I.N.2

Imposter Number Two.

The difference between a normal person and an I.N.2 is their pupils. I.N.2's, due to having two (screens/chips/contacts/etc.) implanted into each of their eyes, have white pupils (because why not? :p).

These implants let an I.N.2 see how dangerous an impostor is or can be. At the edge/corner of their vision numbers will show up when they are looking at an imposter, showing things like how dangerous they are and how hostile they are.

(At some point I'll draw what the eyes for imposters and I.N.2s look like, it'll probably soon lol)

(I'm still debating if I want magic to be a major thing or not. I'm mostly leaning towards having magic still exist, but it can only be used in small proportions for select people–unless it to someone's unique magic or it's people like Malleus and Lillia who are both fae and very powerful. Sebek might also be adapted to using magic, just not nearly as powerful as Malleus or Lillia, but better at it than most people with it. Imposter or not, if someone has magic then they have magic I guess?)

Can i please! Request! Some headcanons for our top 5 easily/frequently jealous boys from twisted wonderland? (From the entire cast). How easily they get jealous and how they cope with it? Thanks!

Really really sorry for how long this took - I’m not too sure about these being the top 5, but here are the guys that I can imagine getting jealous!

Ace 

Like most of the others, it takes more of a special circumstance for him to get jealous. Maybe you’ve been busier lately running errands for Crowley (and while he favors you a lot, Ace isn’t about to volunteer his free time to do chores.)

So when one of the other students start hanging around you and helping with said chores, let’s just say that Ace is a little thrown off

Sure in the beginning he’s just glad you don’t have to handle the work alone, but then you get closer to the person that’s been assisting you, and during conversation you mention something they did when you almost toppled over a can of paint, or how they saved you from missing an appointment with Vil.

Other than this, I can also see him getting jealous when you get a bit too friendly with someone he doesn’t know well (like unconsciously sitting closely, or nudging each other in a familiar way)

As for coping with it… He doesn’t want to accept that he’s jealous and finds himself blabbing to his brother (where he gets called out/teased, but they do talk it out.) 

Ace eventually swallows his pride, approaching you and offering to tag along on your next errand.

It’s such a relief when you happily accept the offer - interacting with you manages to reassure Ace that he was jealous for nothing, you were both as close as can be!

Riddle

Riddle is a busy person. He studies a lot and handles a bunch of work as the head of Heartslabyul.

He doesn’t want to leave your conversation for a meeting, but he can’t allow himself to be late. He’d much prefer to be strolling through the rose gardens with you, but you’re both at an unbirthday party with everybody else and can’t converse one-on-one.

Riddle would find himself jealous when hearing that you’d spent the day having fun with other people (because he’s too busy to be there and wants to spend more time with you too)

It’s not too often that he gets bothered by it, but sometimes stress builds up from other things and he might find himself consulting Trey or Cater.

As a solution, Riddle may arrange for more free slots in his schedule, making plans to hang out. The best remedy would be spending time with you, while his strong sense of responsibility serves as a close second.

He also isn’t a person that’s too showy on all that lovey-dovey stuff, so might get jealous when others easily pull you into hugs or compliment you in an elaborate manner (if he tries he’s pretty sure he’d be too embarrassed to pull it off casually) - to this he’ll find a more comfortable style to express his affections with, like doing things for you and leaving little notes with reminders/messages, and occasionally pushing back his nerves to say something endearing

Jamil

You’re both his weakness and a source of his strength, someone that understands him and he can let his guard down around. So when you haven’t seen each other lately, mixed in with the stress of sudden work, Jamil may be more prone to feeling jealous.

When he sees you with someone during/outside of class, he can’t help but feel a little envious that they’re getting to hear your laugh, seeing as he’s been deprived of your presence for a while.

It especially hits worse if you’re catching up on studies/flying practice with someone else because he didn’t have the time to help like he normally would

Jamil finds himself cooking as a way to de-stress. He’s mature enough to accept that this is only temporary and that there’s no point in making a fuss

He prefers not to worry you with idle frustrations, and so redirects the topic or says it’s nothing if asked.

You surprise Jamil by guessing the source of his discontent, which immediately reminds him of the reasons he’s enamored of you. (How is it that you manage to read him so easily?)

The small interaction already takes some tension out of his shoulders, and Jamil finds himself talking about what’s been happening lately as you both hang around the kitchen, mood lightening considerably. He might not even realize that he’s given in until halfway through the conversation, somewhat impressed by the effect you have on him.

Malleus

He sometimes feels a bit of longing from seeing social gatherings, but the emotion is more pronounced when said individuals are spending time with you, laughing and talking while surrounded by everybody else.

He’s jealous of how they can approach you in public without causing the area to hush, other students glancing fleetingly in a mix of anticipation and fear - “What could Malleus want from Y/N?”

Malleus knows it’s only natural for someone like you to attract others, but feels like a handicap sometimes with how you spend time with him separately or with a smaller amount of people (those that are more comfortable around him)

He doesn’t voice his thoughts aloud often, but the others can usually tell if he’s feeling distracted by you attending another tea party, or your dorm getting frequent visits from others (if it’s something that many people are invited to he may start sulking. You and Lillia find it cute though, and may find the urge to tease him)

It’s an odd contradiction, wanting to be involved but also preferring to keep his circle to those he can trust. Perhaps a walk would help clear his mind…

It helps that you’re observant enough to notice and will try to ease Malleus into more social interactions, as well as reminding him that you’re always in his corner. You communicate that he’s appreciated and loved in subtle ways/actions - he’s truly touched by your thoughtfulness.

Sebek

He gets antsy when you’re off helping people (be it for studies or the usual errands), saying things like “I can’t believe they’re taking up Y/N’s time like this! This is the third time someone’s requested for their aid - do these people even comprehend how generous they are to comply?”

Especially if it’s something trivial/mundane: “They’re taking advantage of Y/N’s kindness! I’m sure the issue could’ve been handled alone, how dare they not appreciate Y/N’s time?” “You’re overreacting.” “Silver! How can you-“

After having identified this as jealousy (someone points out that he sounds like he misses you), Sebek will try his best to hold his tongue and temper, but it’s hard since he feels strongly about you.

Perhaps he’ll find himself receiving advice from someone outside of Diasomnia, where they help him sort out his thoughts and maybe gain some insight on how to best approach you about this.

He’ll speak to you about his concerns after, telling you that it’s alright to say no sometimes and that he’d be willing to help out and lighten the workload (doing something will help calm his nerves rather than just sitting around in silence)

Sebek may even gather the courage to mutter a quiet “you’re always busy, it feels like I never see you around anymore” - which has you realize the reasons for his behavior lately. He’ll feel a lot better after talking things out with you.

"Malleus... he is a respectable dorm leader and I find his hobbies endearing. However it is really hard to approach or even talk to him given his presence and aura... its kinda intimidating to me... I do hope we get closer though."

"Lillia has the best stories. I also love just listening what he comes up with in the light music club. I do wish I too could play guitar. Overall despite the shenanigans I enjoy his company."

In which Sebek realizes time sucks

What color were his eyes?

The sounds of leaves rustling reached Sebek's ears as the young man sat calmly in his seat, his eyes drifting over the red roses, the black thorns that had curled around the garden.

He had planted the roses himself, hoping to grow big green bushes of red roses. However, nothing in the Valley of Thorns seemed to grow so splendidly, and he could only make do with a bushful of thorns, littered with red buds.

He took a sip of his drink—coffee, extra sweet. Sebek had never liked coffee too much, but one too many cafe outings with a certain human had gotten him accustomed to the flavor, although he couldn't say he adored it.

A sigh escaped Sebek's lips and he set down his cup, his eyes drawing towards the seat across from him. Closing his eyes, he could recall a vivid scene, a garden full of red blooms, and a man sitting before him, wisps of his blue disheveled hair falling over his eyes. The man looked to be much older than him, perhaps in his late twenties or early thirties, although there was a delicate charm about him that captivated many.

This man was none other than his former classmate and current lover, Deuce Spade.

He recalled Deuce smiling as he always had—and Deuce's smile was quite pretty, or so he recalled thinking so—and laughing over a cup of coffee. Deuce always did like the drink, perhaps a little too much even.

He recalled himself hesitating, his voice uncharacteristically quiet, "Hey, Deuce. Does it...bother you?"

Deuce blinked, tilting his head as he rested his cheek against his palm, his tone gentle, "This again? You ask me that every week now, you know." He smiled, ruffling Sebek's hair, "You're fae. I'm human. Our appearances aren't something that can be helped, and I don't love you any less for it."

He pulled his hand back, laughing softly, "If anything, I should be the one asking you that. I'm growing older by the day...all my officer work has given me wrinkles you know?" He gestured jokingly to his face, "At this rate, when we go out together, I'll be asked if I was your grandpa."

"N-no!" Sebek raised his voice, "I don't...I...Deuce, you look just as good as before. You'll always look good." He furrowed his eyebrows, a prominent frown upon his lips, "Don't say that…"

"Sebek, I didn't know you were so romantic." Deuce teased, "But I'm just joking." The smile on his face faded, and he trailed his fingers along the rip of his half empty cup, his voice quieting down, "I guess I haven't been taking this as seriously as you want me to."

A sigh. "You know, one day I won't be here anymore."

Sebek began to fidget with the handle of his cup, his fingers turning white from gripping it so tightly, "...We don't have to talk about that if you don't want to."

He'd been trying to bring it up for months, yet he supposed a little part of him didn't want to accept the truth.

"No. We can talk about it now." Deuce hummed, "I don't know when's the next time I'll be able to talk to you so leisurely, so now is as good of a time as ever." Deuce did dabble in quite a dangerous profession, he never knew when was the last day he'd live, and Sebek knew that.

"One day I'll be gone, and when that time comes…I don't want you to feel burdened." Deuce continued. Before Sebek could respond, he said, "You can live for hundreds of years while I might not even live to 90. The world is full of people…Sebek, if one day I am gone, I want you to know that it's okay to love someone else. It's okay to move on."

The fae sharply inhaled, "That's what you want to tell me? I won't love anyone else. I won't, ever. You can't make me." He looked to Deuce, as if begging him to not discuss this further, "I don't want to love anyone else."

"You don't have to, but I want you to know it's okay." Deuce shook his head, "You deserve happiness. Even if it's not with me."

Sebek recalled arguing with Deuce often afterwards about the same subject, time and time again. With each visit, Deuce seemed to grow older, more worn out.

He was sipping on coffee again, his voice a little hoarse, "You should've seen Ace the other day. A headful of white hair. I told him he was gonna bald out one of these days."

A constant reminder that all of them were growing older—all except Sebek. The fae smiled, and glanced down into his cup, his drink reflecting a green haired man, no older than his early twenties. He felt a little self conscious, "I wish I could've seen it."

Deuce laughed, "I'll take a picture for you next time. You should really come to our gathering next year, Epel and Jack keep asking for you." His smile grew dimmer, and his fingers traced upon the rim of his cup again, a bad habit, "Epel...doesn't have much time left."

Sebek's blood ran cold, "So soon?"

"Hm...well." Deuce could only look down, "Not that soon."

Oh right. They were all...really old weren't they? Only to Sebek did it seem like they had only been in class together a year ago, doing stupid things, getting into trouble.

"I...didn't realize." Sebek could only mutter. "I'll come next year."

Deuce merely took Sebek's hand in his, rubbing his knuckles comfortingly.

Sebek recalled next seeing Epel through a picture frame, upon a white table as the people around him, people who looked much older than him, shedded silent tears, surrounding a coffin decorated with white roses. 

He couldn't recall much of what happened next. Only that the years passed by in a blur, and that loss soon grew familiar to him. Jack...Ace...Silver...everyone around him began to leave.

Eventually, even Deuce too, left him. But even then, Sebek found he couldn't recall his last words to him, he couldn't recall their last moments together or how old Deuce was then. He couldn't remember.

On most days, it was okay. He could function well enough to work, to do his job. On other days, he would lay in bed, crying himself to sleep, although the comfort of the cushion below him just reminded him of his former sleepy companion. Malleus and Lillia had told him that it would get better, that it would get easier, but it never did, not really. At least that was what he thought at first.

But that was hundreds of years ago.

As time passed, he grew to realize that perhaps they were right. The coffee in his cup had grown cold as he spaced off. And he frowned, perhaps he should've iced it.

His gaze landed back to the seat before him, the seat that Deuce used to occupy hundreds of years ago.

His memory seemed to gradually fade as time passed, and he trailed his fingers over the rim of his cup, a bad habit that he'd developed from somewhere he couldn't recall. He could faintly remember the warmth of Deuce's laughter, and the feel of his fingers raking through Sebek's hair. He could barely remember the flush of Deuce's cheeks, and the way his hair fell over his face as he spoke, his words falling upon deaf ears now that Sebek could no longer recall his voice.

The wind picked up once more, caressing through green locks like a familiar warm hand, and Sebek hummed softly, a small smile graced upon his lips as he mused to himself, his thoughts drifting off to Deuce once more, the person he once loved, the distant memory he had surely romanticized beyond recognition.

What color were his eyes?

I think Che'nya will have Unique Magic that let's him travel far places like some sort of short-cut or magical portal. I think Silver's Unique Magic will be called Shield of Virtue and it will be used to protect MC when fighting Mal. I think when fighting Mal, Lillia will fight him and not Silver and Sebek because they don't have same level of fogging experience. Silver and Sebek will probably deal with protecting students.

Honestly, I, really like that idea. Kinda running with this, but the idea that Silver could be twisted from the sword that kills Maleficent, and then his unique magic is based on the shield, I like that more than I'm willing to admit holy shit.

I can also see that for, Che'nya, even if it's never given a precise name, that him being able to teleport long distances being his unique magic

Also, I, do like the thought of Lilia fighting Malleus, while Silver and Sebek evacuate/protect the other residents of Diasomnia more. That does make waaay more sense overall, all things considered.

It does have me wondering, about how strong Lilia is compared to some of the other students, ngl.........
