This is a snippet of the first chapter to my fic Robin Hood (reference to this post)
A Crow's Murder
Danny was thoroughly exhausted. Ever since he died, he could never seem to catch a break. At all. Even as a 20 year old civilian, life wanted to punch him in the face- repeatedly. Sure, he may have been stealing from labs at night (Wayne industries included) but they had tons of money for replacements! Look, ghost hunting without using his ghost powers was tough, especially when the entirety of the Fenton labs went up in flames. The only thing he had on him when he left was a blaster and a thermos, not enough for the jobs he was trying to accomplish. He really wasn’t a criminal! It was all for the greater good! He swears it! Heroes break the law to save people all the time, how is he any different? (They’re not fugitives with entire government branches after them).
Still, he didn’t want to leave Gotham just because the Bats were getting closer on his tail. He was doing so well at not using his powers, even learned how to lock pick so he avoided walking through walls! Sam would 100% be proud of him and his hard work at fucking over large corporations and unethical research.
Anyways, his little Bat problem is what led to his current situation, moving apartments into Crime alley, specifically Red Hood’s territory. When he first got to Gotham and accidentally hobbled inside he immediately ‘Noped’ right out of there. First off, the vibes were retched. Second, he knew a warning sign in aura if he ever saw one, and the border between uptown Gotham and this was blaring red lights and sirens screaming “STAY OUT”, and Danny knew how to listen to directions like that. Sadly, now he was left with no choice.
Batman had been patrolling around where he lives a little too much recently. Normally, the clan would take turns patrolling certain areas at certain times for safety, but not recently. Danny knew they were catching onto him. His ghostliness messed with cameras when he let his aura loose, but it didn’t erase the fact that the footage existed. He knew they didn’t have a clear picture of him or his abilities, but they knew he existed and knew he was a phantom thief, and that was enough. Danny no longer questioned their titles as ‘best detectives in the world’. After all, they were giving him a run for his money.
Moving to Crime Alley was indeed the best option, though. Danny had analyzed the bats and their movements ever since he moved here a year ago at 19. He knew that after Red Hood had his whole war with them, they backed off of the area and the haunt finally settled as the vigilante’s territory. Now, a few years after that, the bats left the area alone except for special circumstances during major events. That meant that the safest option for the halfa right now, was to walk into the lion’s den and pray he wasn’t hungry.
.
.
.
Maybe he shouldn’t have started thieving this soon-
Currently, he was being chased to hell high waters by Red Hood and his two guns affectionately named. To be fair, he didn’t even get to actually steal anything, so technically he wasn’t breaking the law. Sure, he broke into a VladCo. Lab and went rummaging through the computers using tuckers parting gift to him- but that didn’t make him a criminal. Honestly, he was offended, didn’t even get to trash the place as a ‘fuck you’ to Vlad. The man deserved it after the shit he pulled ever since Danny turned 14. The man had disappeared like his parents, and while it was concerning, Danny couldn’t help but be glad he was gone.
“Stop!”
A robotic voice called after him from a few feet behind. How Red Hood was so large and still this fast was beyond him. Nevermind the fact that he felt dead, but not. He wasn’t necessarily a halfa, but he did have that ‘totally died and didn’t revive right’ vibes to him that just gave him a chill.
Danny didn’t answer him, just continued running for his life and jumping between buildings. Maybe he did use his powers a bit to make landings easier and make up for his obvious lack of experience or skill, no one could call him out on it.
He had just wanted information on where the man had gone. While he was thankful for the somewhat peace, Vlad disappearing always meant bad news. Worse if he was in danger and caught by the GIW. There were reports of Vlad being seen at some of the Wayne Galas, but that was half a year ago, no word since. He’d hate to say it, but he was worried. Sure, he hated the man’s guts- he was a total fruitloop and only got worse over time, but he was the first halfa, and whether Danny admitted it or not he learned a lot from him. Sue him for being a little concerned, if not for Plasmius, then for himself. The GIW having any ghost was bad news for him. Live research only spelled bad news.
The lab was practically no help. The only thing the computers contained were some schematics for his equipment in the basement, but none of it was the real dangerous stuff like the portal or even cloning pods. Danny was still happy he got the chance to destroy the lab and all the tech in it, he loved Dani, but he didn’t think he could handle another clone dying or destabilizing. Dani was in the Ghost Zone, exploring and mapping out all of its locations. He didn’t know what he’d do if she got caught in the crossfires of this war.
Danny jumped from one roof to another, he had to keep to buildings close to each other. Unlike Red Hood, he didn’t have a grappling hook to bring him across streets. He didn’t want to alert Batman of his not-totally-human status. Best case scenario he thought he was a meta who could fly and would do his whole ‘no metas in Gotham’ spiel. Worst case scenario he figured out Danny was a powerful ghost who happened to be a fugitive from the government and would turn him in. From then on Danny didn’t know what they’d do to him, but he’d never tell them how to build the portal. That information died with him and him alone.
By the time he heard bullets going past him and a rubber one hitting him square in the shoulder, he knew he had to get gone. Danny had already ran past his new home, any farther and he’d have to use his powers way longer than normal. Slowly the two had gone up in height between buildings, by now if he fell off the side he’d get at least severely injured, but that height was nothing to his flight. Danny waited another minute before speeding up and widening the distance between them before ‘slipping’ and falling down the side of the building rather ungracefully.
By the time Red Hood caught up, Danny was gone.

So Lucifer Morningstar, the fourth of the fallen, (retired) ruler of hell, the Devil himself, is a character in DC comics, appearing in the Sandman comics, his own solo run and various other comics
He is absurdly powerful
The thing is, Lucifer still has access to his Divine power, unlike other fallen angels, and is actually more powerful than other angels
What does this mean?
Lucifer was the guy that shaped the matter to create the stars, an ability he still has
Enter one Danny Fenton
“Omg(oh my ghost) I’m a HUGE FAN of your work”
Just Danny fangirling over the literal Devil because of stars and space

Theres a new mom and pop coffee shop in Gotham that's doing pretty well. The place has a casual playful vibe but it only ever has one employee, which has lead to it having a bit of a urban myth status.
He's there through all the opening hours and no one ever sees him come or go, only the lights switching off and the teen disappearing.
It probably doesn't help that the shop has a ghost themed name.
His name tag reads, "Nightingale" and he always has a polite smile, but the few who dare to act out in his shop notice his eyes flash a particular shade of green and are suddenly overcome with the feeling that they're being stared down by a large apex predator and a sickening sense of dread.
Needless to say people behave in his shop.
Whats more is that his store shows up on county records just fine, but if you try to look into anything your computer glitches out and you can't find anything. Obviously "Nightingale" can't be the owner, he looks only 15. Some say he's a vampire, others say he's a zombie like Red Hood.
Tim doesn't care what he is because the first time he entered at night as Red Robin the guy immediately started making a coffee were he could see, made it exactly how he liked it and gave it to him before he even had the chance to order. Then he refused his money, saying it was on the house.
None of the people waiting in line argued or were upset and Tim was unsure if that was because he was a well known Gotham vigilante or it Nightingales reputation protected him.
Either way the coffee was delicious.
Tim didn't know how to feel when he found out his family was investigating the "possible runaway" who worked at the coffee shop.

Definition: The rare love and obsession with stars, planets, and outer space
Word count: 2,456
@thestarofpines, @xxrozepetalxx, @tumbling-darkling, @weswestonoffical, I know you all said that you liked the crossover in the reblog tags and comments, so I figured I’d tag you in the first one! I probably won’t tag anyone in the next one, though.
(By the way, @xxrozepetalxx, I recognize you. Again, thank you so much for helping me find that dc x dp post last summer!)
It was the first clear night for the past few days. Despite the sun and moon not being there, the amount of stars shining made the sky look brighter than the ground below. The trees stretching high beyond the fire’s light appeared just dark enough to stand out against the sky. The fire, crickets, owls, and frogs filled the silence so it didn’t stay quiet for too long. It was nice. Except for one thing.
Twilight looked back down and glanced over at the newest addition to the group. Danny, apparently a nickname he goes by, was still awake. He was laying down and using his odd bag as a pillow, which couldn’t be as comfortable as he claimed. He stared quietly up at the sky with pure admiration. It could just be his imagination, but the ranch hand could swear he saw the stars reflecting in the kid’s blue eyes. He looked a lot calmer and happier now compared to these last few nights, which isn’t a surprise since he seemed to really like the way the sky looked at night. Twilight didn’t want to interrupt what looked like a peaceful moment to Danny, but the sun had set a while ago and it was getting late.
“Aren’t you going to sleep?” Twilight asked. Danny briefly glanced over at him, then back up at the sky.
“Maybe in a bit.” He said.
That was a lie. He probably wouldn’t fall asleep until Twilight woke Sky up for his shift. That’s what happened the times when the sky was clear at night. When it became cloudy, Danny suddenly started falling asleep over an hour earlier. And now that they had a nice view of the stars again, the ranch hand had a feeling “in a bit” really meant “in an hour”. The kid just dozes off staring at the sky almost every night.
Danny has mentioned before that part of the reason is because his town experiences something called “light pollution”. Apparently, his world is pretty technologically advanced, and they use electric lights to illuminate many of their roads and paths. Unfortunately, this comes with the downside of having a hard time seeing the stars unless someone travels far enough outside the town. Maybe he just wants to make the most of it.
Still, Twilight couldn’t help but ask, “You really like stars that much?”
“Not just the stars, outer space in general. I could talk about it for hours.” Danny replied, not looking back at him.
“Outer space?” Twilight questioned. He wasn’t sure if he’s heard that specific phrase before, but he was very sure he hadn’t.
Danny sat up and glanced over at him with a small shrug.“Yeah. You know, the sun, planets, the moon, stars, comets, meteors, all that stuff.” He said.
Come to think of it, there was a time when Twilight asked his parents about the ever-present mystery of the stars and moon, but they didn’t really have the answers. No one seemed to have them. Everyone just believed it was part of the goddesses’ design, to help people navigate through the night or have something to help them feel more at ease in the darkness. The way Danny said he could talk about it for hours left pretty much no room for thinking that he didn’t know what he was talking about. Maybe he could ask him a few questions. Maybe he had the answers every kid in his village asked, including him at one point.
Twilight almost shook his head. Danny needed to get to sleep. Sure, he’d give him time to stargaze, but he really didn’t want that to turn into him staying up all night. Asking about stars was out of the question.
Suddenly, a small light illuminated in the older hylian’s mind.
Glancing over at Danny again, he noticed that he’d once again returned to staring at the sky.“I don’t think I’ve heard much about it. Why don’t you tell me a little since you seem to know a thing or two?” He asked. Danny didn’t seem to respond at first, but then he promptly sat up and turned around. He had an expression that Twilight wasn’t very familiar with, but he remembered seeing it on a Goron’s face when Sky was talking to him about some history stuff about “the legend of the hero” and knew what it was. He didn’t know the word for it, but there was definitely surprise and suppressed excitement. Like he was checking if he heard him correctly.
Danny cleared his throat after a moment.“Well, the first thing that comes to mind is the life cycle of stars.” He said. The term “life cycles” was new to Twilight when he spoke to his and Rusl’s friends at the bar, but he understood it after a very brief explanation.
“I didn’t know stars had those. Continue.” Twilight said.
Danny practically jumped to his feet with newfound energy and enthusiasm. He picked up his backpack immediately rushed over to where Twilight was sitting. He avoided getting too close to the other members of the group with all the grace of a hyper toddler running for desert. The ranch hand was almost caught off guard with how big of a change that one question made. The kid was practically beaming and his grin was a lot like the face Colin made when he got a short ride on Epona’s back.
Danny fumbled with the zipper as he rushed to open it, but managed to pull out a green notebook.”Okay, I’m probably going to go on a rant because I love talking about space, so stop me if I start talking too much.” He started, keeping his voice down with the others’ sleep in mind. Twilight didn’t really understand why he said it like that, but nodded anyways. Danny flipped to a page in his notebook and leaned over to show Twilight a couple of drawings and plenty of notes. His alphabet was different from the Hylian alphabet, so he couldn’t read it.
“Also, I should clarify something. Stars live for so long that we haven’t exactly been able to look at one star and watch if from birth to death, but with the sheer amount of stars in the universe, we’ve been able to observe them in different stages and put the pieces together.” Twilight nodded in understanding. Danny pointed at the one drawing that kind of resembled a cloud of smoke or something similar.“Stars are born in big clouds of cold gas and dust called nebulae, a single one is called a nebula, and these things are massive! Their diameters range from 50 to 300 light years across!” He said.
Twilight felt a little rude for interrupting so early, but he didn’t exactly understand the last bit.“You lost me at “diameters” and “light years”. I don’t know what those are.” He said.
Danny didn’t seem upset about him saying that and flipped several pages until they turned blank. He reached into a smaller pocket in his backpack and pulled out a pencil he’s used to try to write down and learn the Hylian alphabet. He drew a circle and a line through it.”This is a diameter, it’s the distance between one side of something, typically a circular area, to the other. A light year measures the distance light travels in one year. Since light is incredibly fast, I think that helps put into perspective of how huge it is.” Danny explained.
“Hold on, what?” Twilight blurted out. It wasn’t loud, but came out quickly. Danny turned to him and nodded.
It sounded impossible to believe. Light wasn’t fast, it was instant! It was there, and then it wasn’t! You can’t measure the speed of light!... Right?
“The distance it takes light... to travel to- in a year?!” Twilight repeated, keeping his voice down to a whisper.
Danny nodded again, this time a little quicker.“Yeah! Hard to believe, huh? I almost didn’t!” He whispered. A few more seconds of silence passed.
“You’re right, those things sound huge.” Twilight said.
Danny’s expression faltered a little bit, but he kept most of his smile.“Do you want me to stop?” He asked. He didn’t sound disappointed, but Twilight could tell that a small part of him was crushed by the thought that he’d have to stop.
Not only did Twilight not want to disappoint him in a way that he’s clearly experienced before, but he was now even more curious about this.“No, keep going. I want to see how a huge cloud of dust turns into one of those.” He said, gesturing up to the sky. He could’ve sworn that Danny bounced a little before he flipped back through the pages and continued.
“Okay! So over time, the clouds contract, become denser, and slowly heat up. The clouds also break up into clumps, and as they get smaller, they begin to flatten into a disk shape. As the contracting clump continues to heat up, a protostar is formed. A protostar is like... like a baby star or something. It’s not a star yet because it’s not hot enough to start nuclear reactions. This stage is supposed last roughly 50 million years. As the collapse continues, the mass of the protostar grows, which squeezes it even more and increases the temperature. If the protostar becomes massive enough to reach 10 million degrees Celsius, then it become hot enough for nuclear reactions to start and the protostar will technically be referred to as a star!” Danny explained, quietly but very enthusiastically.
Twilight did his best to follow along and absorbed the information pretty well. It was a bit confusing how a bunch of dust squeezing and somehow heating up would turn into a star over millions of years, but it somehow made sense with Danny pointing at different sketches. So he really only had one question for him.“How hot is 10 million Celsius??” He asked.
“I was taught to use Fahrenheit, but it’s around 18,000,032 degrees. I think today was somewhere around 66 degrees. You’d evaporate like water before you get anywhere close to a star!“ Danny replied. He didn’t sound pretty scared at the last part, but rather happy to say that. It was probably the fact that he was able to share this information with him rather than him picturing someone being evaporated and finding some sick joy from it.
“Wow. The world you come from.” Twilight said. Danny almost laughed.”Hey, this is all pretty unbelievable! Especially when you’re telling me stars are massive when they look like that.” Twilight said, pointing at the sky.
“That’s because we’re really far away. The closest star is 4.24 light years away. When we look at the stars, we’re looking back in time.” Danny said. Twilight let his arm drop. He didn’t even have to say “You’ve got to be joking”, Danny got the message and covered his mouth so he didn’t laugh and wake anyone up. His efforts were cut off by a yawn. Twilight smiled. His plan was was working. He thought up of another question.
“So you said stars have a life cycle? How do they die?” He asked. He felt pleased with himself when he noticed Danny’s eyelids drooping a little bit.
“Well, it kind of depends on the star’s mass...”
Twilight listened to him go on to explain how a star’s mass plays into what happens at the end of its life and what different sized stars go through, paying attention to both his words and the way he was slowly starting to lean against him.
“—y. Hey, wake up.” A voice said. Sky groaned in discomfort and irritation as he was pulled from the comfortable, heavy blanket of sleep. He mindlessly swatted a hand at the hand patting his leg and felt himself sat up before he thought of doing it. He found himself rubbing his eyes to get rid of the gunk and opening them out of a newly picked up routine.
Two short, seated figures were in front of a shifting red, orange, and yellow light. One of them was holding their hand over his leg, and focusing on the hand helped him realize that it was Twilight who woke him up.”You awake?” He asked.
“Yes.” Sky said, sounding meaner than he meant to. Twilight smiled and turned back to face the fire.
“Good. Legend is covering the shift after yours.” Twilight said. Sky stretched his limbs and yawned. He peered up at the sky to try to see what time it was, but tonight was a new moon, so he just had to trust Twilight’s judgement. A small part of him still fussed over the fact that he wasn’t getting a 100% night’s sleep. He ignored that part and stood up. He walked over to the log to see Twilight was actually leaning against it instead of sitting on it, along with Danny. Sky sat on the opposite side of Danny so Twilight was between them and glanced at both of them with a questioning, but pretty amused look.
Danny wasn’t just leaning on the log, he was also leaning on Twilight, with his back against both of them at an angle and his head resting on the older hylian’s shoulder like a pillow. A notebook was left open in Danny’s lap. The contents of the pages were odd sketches and sentences that appeared to be in Danny’s language. His purple backpack was also left in his lap, propping the notebook up.”Did I miss something?” Sky asked. Twilight lifted his left arm above his head and used it as his own pillow against the log while his right laid in his lap.
“I asked him about stars. Apparently, he knows a couple things about them and fell asleep talking about them.” Twilight replied. Sky walked over to where Twilight left his bed loft (I’m very sure that’s a sleeping bag, correct me if I’m wrong) and picked it up.
“Stars?” He asked. He unwrapped the bed loft and placed the pillow underneath Twilight’s head to make it more comfortable, then moved to see if he could put the blanket over the both of them.
“Thank you. And yeah, stars. He mentioned he liked them a lot and could “talk about them for hours”. He only lasted an hour and half before he fell asleep.” Twilight said, suppressing a laugh.
“Guess he meant during the day. I think I’ll ask him about stars tomorrow if it’s as interesting as you make it sound.” Sky said. He managed to turn the blanket sideways and cover both Twilight and Danny. Or part of them both, anyways.”Is this good?” He asked.
Twilight nodded.”Yeah. Thanks again, Sky.” He said. Sky sat back down on the log and stretched again. The two bid each other goodnight, and soon, Sky was left alone with his thoughts and the crackling of the fire.

Specter of Starlight Snippet
Continuing this week of posting snippets since I'm K.O.ed. From this idea here. Two parts and another snippet.
-----
“That’s it, we can’t be friends any more. You’re dead to me,” Danny said, hand to his heart as if Tim had mortally wounded him.
Friends. Danny thought they were friends. He shook his head to clear it and gave back his best smirk. “I’m sorry, Deep Space 9 is just patently better than Enterprise.” “But they don’t go anywhere!” Danny whined. “Star Trek’s whole thing is to ‘boldly go where no man has gone before’ and you can’t do that in a space station!” “That’s just a cover and you know it. Star Trek is about exploring the human condition— especially by using aliens to do it. Going where no man has gone before is using a cheesy sci-fi show to talk about race and sexuality and gender. By putting it on a space station they can really focus in on that without all the other distractions.” “Distractions!” Tim couldn’t help the snort of amusement at how insulted Danny managed to sound on that one word. “Distractions he says. Red. Red, why.” “You know I’m right,” Tim said, putting every ounce of Bristol born and raise snobbery into the statement as he could. “This is an insult to Picard,” Danny managed to say between his laughter. Tim could feel the grin stretch across his face at Danny’s laughter. The other— his friend— had seemed a subdued when Tim had first landed on the roof that night. Tim was glad to see Danny’s mood lightening. He didn’t want to see that listlessness clinging to Danny like that again. “I would never insult Picard,” Tim assured Danny. Danny smiled back, relaxing against the gargoyle behind him. “Good, or else it would be pistols at dawn or something.” “Pistols at dawn?” “You know, duel of honor.” Tim’s nose wrinkled at the thought. Sure, Jason had taught him to shoot (he insisted Tim needed to know how to handle a gun for safety reasons), but Tim still didn’t like handling them. “Can’t we use swords?” “No. You’d win in two seconds,” Danny said with a little wave of his hand. “At least with a gun I have a shooting chance.” “Danny,” Tim groaned at the joke. Then the implication of rest of the statement caught up to him. “You know how to shoot?” “Oh, sure. I grew up around fire arms… of a type,” Danny said. His smile slid off into a little, pensive frown. “Pull one out of a couch cushion enough and you sorta have to learn how to handle it safely, you know?” Tim’s spine straightened in alarm. “Out of a couch cushion?” “Yeah. Hey, it’s fine,” Danny said. The smile he plastered on was far from convincing. “It’s… I’m not there anymore. The guns aren’t really my worry right now.” “Danny…” “It’s fine," Danny snapped back before curling up a little from his own tone. He picked at his nails, eyes darting out over the dark city. "Come on, time to rank the captains. Janway verses Pike.” Tim took a steadying breath and counted to five. He wouldn’t press. But he wouldn’t forget either. “Okay, pilot Pike, reboot Pike, or Strange New Worlds?” “Strange New What?” “You haven’t seen it? Okay so…” Tim launched into talking about the new series and the whole effect of the streaming platform on the series. He knew it was just a distraction, but he wanted Danny’s smile to come back. He just wanted Danny happy.
-----
AN: No tagging cause I'm dead and it's not in order. But it is part of the next part! Which is mostly these two being goofs and talking about various things. Who do you think is right? Enterprise or Deep Space 9?
Stay delightful everyone~

Prompt from @help-i-need-a-cool-username
Jason has once again snuck into Gotham University. Now, before any assumptions are made onto why the crime lord would break into a college, the reason is because he likes the library. That's it. The public library is trashed and small, barely taken care of, but Gotham U's? It's beautiful. Multiple floors, organized and in sections, taken care of, alphabetical order, it's magnificent. The chairs were a reason alone to sneak in, but the students here added an extra charm.
He had gone to the very back of the library on the second floor. This area was  pretty well hidden and enclosed. He would come here to read without anyone questioning him, even hiding the books he wasn’t finished with yet to continue on later. Jason wasn’t expecting someone to be so close to his spot though. A few tables across stood a student, thin, tall, with pitch black hair, baggy cargo jeans, and a white t-shirt. The other hadn’t noticed him yet, so he remained quiet and just watched. He was in front of a large white board on wheels, seemingly taken from the rooms he saw down the hall.
“That doesn’t work, goddammit.”
On the white board was lines upon lines of equations- at least he thought they were equations, with most of them being letters and symbols rather than numbers. It made the vigilante’s brain hurt. The student - assumed STEM major - just kept mumbling to himself.
“Stupid physics, won’t allow interdimensional travel”
What? Jason may have been out of school since 15, but he knew no courses were asking for the answer to traveling between dimensions. It seemed the student had a habit of talking to himself when worked up or focused, possibly why he isolated himself from the rest of the library.
“If your parents could do it, why can’t you? Think Danny, think!”
That sentence wasn’t concerning at all, but at least Jason learned the boy’s name. Danny seemed to have a strange background, what did he mean by ‘if your parents could do it’? Had his parents managed to travel between dimensions? The other was chewing on the cap of the white board marker, his other hand resting on his hip as he swayed back and forth.
“Oh! Oh! Oh! That! The thing! That thingy!”
Jason could practically see the lightbulb go on above Danny’s head. Just then the other erased a solid portion of the whiteboard and dropped to his knees, ouch. He started frantically scribbling, fast and messy, barely cohesive. Though, Jason was sure that if it was Tim sitting where he was instead, the boy could probably understand everything on that board. He’d stick to English literature, thank you very much.
“That’s it! Oh my ancients! I got it!”
Danny practically jumped in the air, punching the air in triumph. Jason almost felt proud of him, this complete stranger he’s been watching, wow he was being creepy, huh? Danny shot both of his arms straight up, the marker gripped tightly in his right hand fist.
“I did it!”
He looked so happy, so excited. He began to buzz, even spinning, before stopping mid loop and turning around slowly. Shit, Jason had been caught. To be fair, Danny hadn’t exactly turned around the whole time, meaning Jason was just watching his back the whole time as he worked through his… problem? It’s such a shame, Jason was thoroughly entertained by this random kid.
“Uhhh, hi? How long have you been there?”
Oh shit, Jason had to talk now, didn’t he?
“Not very long, but long enough to know you were trying to solve interdimensional travel before apparently succeeding.”
The color drained from Danny’s face. Whoops?
“Uhm, no I didn’t.”
Now that he got a closer look, the student looked like someone Bruce would adopt. Black hair, clear blue eyes, tan skin, sharp features, the whole nine yards. He was actually fairly attractive, maybe even cute.
“Really? I could have sworn that you said ‘stupid physics won’t allow interdimensional travel’”
“I have no clue what you’re talking about.”
“Yeah sure, and I’m a student here.”
“Wait, you’re not a student here?”
“That’d only be true if you were lying.”
“Well I’m not so-”
“Uh huh, sure you’re not.”
“Look dude-”
“Jason.”
“Look Jason, there’s no way that I could solve interdimensional travel, the multiverse doesn’t exist.”
“Look Danny-”
“How do you know my name?”
“I won’t tell a single soul if you explain how you did it to me”
Curiosity won his gambit. Would he regret what he was about to say? Perhaps.
“Maybe over a coffee?”
He knew it was worth it when the marker hit the floor and Danny moved his hand to cover his red face. Well, it wasn’t the first time he’s done something he regrets, maybe this time it’d be a cute STEM major who knows the secrets to the multiverse.

tHIS ONE EXISTS IG HKLFDHSFD anyway uhhhhh how does Dash's hair work and also i could've picked better colors but OH WELL LET'S PAY ATTENTION TO THE GOLDEN TWINKIE PROPAGANDA bc i will singlehandedly change this ship name to Golden Twinkie do not test me
i like to think this is in college. they're both the kind of guys you see on campus in the dead of winter wearing just their t-shirts but honestly they're the only ones allowed to do that
Danny drools in his sleep. For some reason, Dash finds it endearing.
~ Send me a ship and a number from this ask game and I'll write a drabble or draw a sketch!
