My favorite Jegulus headcanons

Regulus fell in love with James after the first Gryffindor VS Slytherin quidditch match, when James helped him to the infirmary in the pouring rain 😭I LOVE THIS ONE

Regulus hated his nickname 'Reg' and so he named James 'bunny' but that didn't stick

Regulus left James after learning about the prophecy (that Lily and James had Harry who defeated Voldemort) but still went to look for a way to defeat him so that he could get back to James and explain.

James always gave Regulus rocks that 'reminded him of Reg's eyes' and Regulus had a whole collection that he carried with him every day (Remus knew this and made sure his gravestone was made out of those rocks (there was no body buried but there was still a burial with only close friends))

Regulus always read Muggle books (got them from Pandora)

They would have movie nights and James was absolutely terrified of horror movies so he'd manage to end up in Regulus' arms like halfway through (yes, Regulus knew this and he would intentionally pick scary movies)

Before quidditch matches they would do a wizarding version of rock paper scissors (pebble, parchment, wand) and whoever won got to grab the snitch. However, Regulus let James win most of the time.

I think now is a good time to share my thoughts on Marauders as ice-cream flavours. But instead of being a nice simple list, it will be a mess hehe.

You might think you already know a lot of what I am about to say, and you're probably wrong.

Firstly strawberry, sorta basic but fruity. Except when you think fruity you don't usually think strawberry. Lily. Lily Evans is infact sorta basic (in a complex way, in a she is Rory Gilmore way) but love her for it, and she is infact fruity.

You are probably guessing Remus is chocolate cause duh and James is caramel. But caramel is sweet but salty. James isn't salty. You know who is ? REMUS !

James is cookies and cream. Period.

Peter is bubblegum 100% I will not be elaborating.

No one is getting vanilla cause vanilla is the worse (anti vanilla) and no one deserves that. I was thinking Severus for a sec but no. He gets pistachio

Sirius, mint chocolate yeah ? No, that makes no sense. So then Regulas mint choc ? Nope. Reg is blueberry and Mary is rasberry swirl. It just makes sense.

So who gets mint choc ? Bellatrix, cause she gets a lot of hype and I see why but like, if you are to pick your favourite ice-cream flavour, and you say mint choc. Like really ? That is all I need to know about you... Also mint choc has this little bite to it so yeah, Bellatrix

Rainbow ice-cream. Ahh this one is Sirius, cause he just screams gay. No. Rainbow ice-cream is just vanilla with colour, it taste the same but you don't think it does cause the colours make it better. I am sorry but you are Lucius.

I was gonna make Sirius mango, cause mango ice-cream is iconic, fruity and iconically fruity. But Sirius is far to extra for that. That is why Marlene is mango and Sirius is watermelon. I will not be taking criticism.

Dorcas gets rainbow sherbet cause it is lesbian and so is she.

If Remus isn't chocolate who is I hear you say, Alice and Frank. They definitely share that category.

I don't think Pandora has one flavour, she just has many mixed together. It just makes sense.

Barty is lemon. Because I love lemon, it a little sour and always surprises me, as well as it is technically fruity. So yeah, Barty.

And Narcissa is that pretty purple one (called Ube) cause she is pretty, photogenic and not like other girls. I am in love with Cissy. But also, Ube sounds so fancy and above everyone else, along with I am scared to try it, like what actually is it ? I am confused.

Oh and Evan, he doesn't get a flavour cause he is lactose intolerant. He just gets the cone with tons of toppings in it (yes I know this is about what they would be, not what they are getting, but I don't care, he just doesn't get a flavour.) (because yes this is an excuse to share this hc of Evan)

As they approached the elaborately decorated octagonal bandstand, Pandora was amused by the sharp contrast between the elegant spiral scrolls in black metal that graced the roof’s edge with the DJ booth underneath it. The flower pots placed along the perimeter were strangled by the obscene number of cords strewn around them.

Old world meets new in the cringiest of ways.

Pandora nudged Lily’s arm when she caught up to her, Mary, and Alice. “What kind of music do they play?”

“Usually a mix of genres, but most of it will be new. The only ones who stay are the under 40 crowd, according to my mum.”

“Is that who I think it is?” James asked, pausing to consider the woman in the booth. He elbowed Sirius and pointed. “Surely she wouldn’t come this far?”

Sirius grinned at him, then slapped him on the back. “She would if I personally invited her and your parents paid her way.”

“No way. You…b-but she’s my…”

“Favourite DJ? Childhood best friend? The legendary enabler of all your nonsense before I came along?” he prompted, his smile widening by the second. “Why yes, yes she is. Surprise!”

James gaped at him for a full minute, then swivelled around and charged at the bandstand shouting something she couldn’t understand. It might have been in Spanish, but Pandora couldn’t be sure.

The blonde setting up her laptop looked up and waved excitedly. Within seconds, James had leapt over the railing and tackle-hugged her. She shrieked with laughter and hugged him back.

“Who is that?” Regulus asked, swatting at his brother’s arm. His expression was caught somewhere between anxiety and annoyance.

“Marlene. He’s talked about her, right?”

“The lesbian?”

Sirius barked out a loud laugh and nodded. “Yes, Reggie. She’s a lesbian and our close friend. I promise, she’s not interested in your boyfriend.”

“Alright.” He was visibly calmer already.

Pandora leaned forward and studied the woman as she chatted animatedly with James. “Why does she look so familiar?”

Lily shrugged. “Maybe she was in London? I know that I’ve never seen her before.”

“I have,” Alice said quietly. She held her phone out and snapped a picture of James and the DJ. “She used to play hockey in London, but left the team after a bullying incident.”

Pandora’s gut twisted sideways as she dug her own mobile out of her purse. She asked Alice to send her the photo, then sent it to Dorcas.

🐼: I think Sirius helped her get the gig as a surprise for James. They’re close.

🐼: Would you like me to pass a message?

Pandora sighed and shook her head at the screen. It wasn’t like Dorcas to be indecisive. While she didn’t know their history in specific, she did know that they weren’t speaking and that Dorcas was still hung up on the hockey player. In the master suite they shared, she had a dozen or so photos of the two of them together and the blonde in her gear.

Lily rubbed her knuckles on the back of Pandora’s hand and tipped her head to the side. “Alright?”

“I think that’s my flatmate’s ex-girlfriend.”

“Oh. Did it end badly?”

Pandora shrugged, unwilling to overshare Dorcas’s personal life. With her own secrets, she would have gladly spilled at Lily’s feet, but Dorcas was private.

Especially about #14. Pandora could see her jersey clearly in her mind. At least, her London jersey. She could have a different number now that she was back in Scotland.

Although, she may not play anymore. Professional hockey player to disc jockey was certainly an abrupt career change. Pandora couldn’t imagine keeping up with two demanding careers was easy.

Lily leaned closer and tucked the annoying lock of hair that constantly came loose behind her ear. “Will you dance with me?”

“Right now?”

“When the music starts, obviously.”

Pandora pretended to ponder the question with a pensive, furrowed brow. It was a bit silly for Lily to even ask, really. “I suppose I can squeeze you in. My dance card is nearly full, but—”

“Just say ‘yes’ like a normal person,” Regulus chided, rolling his eyes.

“Where’s the fun in that?”

Bow down everyone, the Queen has arrived! Dorcas is my favourite of all time. She slays the dreads, and I imagine that she loves to throw some pretty beads and braids in there every once in a while, and Pandora weaves in flowers when she isn't looking.

I personally see Dorcas as being a Lesbian, but I liked this flag because it had a representation of people of colour on it. I envision Dorcas as being an activist, unafraid to make a stand for whatever she believes in and identifies with, so I thought she would have liked this flag. Dorcas is powerful and intense, like Cleopatra grew up in a small town. And to tell you the truth, sometimes I wish I was her.

Alright so I'm a huge marauders era fan (obsessed) so and LOVE the Pantheon (Slytherin Skittles) so here are my:

DORCAS MEADOWES HEADCANONS

I love Dorlene, first of all, and think that they are so perfect. I also find it weird that the fandom looked at two random dead characters and were like "ship", but I'm here for it.

Blaise Zabini's aunt. This is my personal headcanon-that-I'm-working-to-make-canon, and I feel like this connects her a little more to the original book series. This will be explained in the following dot points:

Dorcas is a hundred percent a half blood, which pisses so many people off, but after making an example of some dude in first year, nobody messes with her. Especially after becoming friends with both Regulus AND Sirius Black.

Blaise Zabini is definitely a pureblood Slytherin, but trust the process, this is a little bit all over the place.

So Selena Zabini (Blaise's mother in this thing I've got going on in my mind) is the daughter of this other Zabini guy, and is about the same age as Narcissa.

This Zabini guy had an affair with this muggle Meadowes lady, so she gets pregnant and whatever, having Dorcas. The Zabini guy takes Dorcas, as the Meadowes lady doesn't want her and is poor-ish. The Zabini guy says that Dorcas is a cousin sent to live with them from Germany.

For about 3-5 years, Dorcas grew up with Selena and the Zabini's (angst potential), before Selena's mother finds out who Dorcas is, and gives her to her mother before disappearing.

Dorcas and her mother do not have a great relationship, and Cas grew up a lot like Blaise did, taking on her mother's last name and having to see her mother go through boyfriend after boyfriend.

However, Meadowes the elder gets rich through all these men, employing a variety of techniques like blackmail, manipulation and getting sugar daddies. So, yeah. This means Dorcas gets a nice big house for when her friends run away from their homes in AU's. :D

Anyways moving on from that thing that I just did.

My fancast for her is Stacey Dash but in Clueless. This is just one of them, there are others but I can't be bothered to name them. Picture below.

Reluctant fighter for Dumbledore, being a Slytherin, she spots his manipulation from a mile away, and is still hurt by his favouritism.

Hates dogs, hates Sirius, in honour of Reggie. She eventually warms up to him though, in spite of Reg joining the Death Eaters, but feels like a traitor whenever she laughs at one of his jokes. He feels the same.

Her and Pandora's friendship becomes tense when the boys join the Dark Side, Pandora refusing to help Gryffindors who have hurt them all their lives kill her friends, and Dorcas feeling so hurt that her friends would help kill people like her.

She loves anything shiny or sparkly, and has a huge chest for jewellry that she collects.

Drinks coffee with no sugar but a spoonful of chocolate and half a teaspoon of vanilla.

Gaslights like a pro.

So many toxic relationships before finding out she was a lesbian. Spoiler alert, she was the toxic one.

Brushes Marlene's hair when they get time to themselves while Marlene rambles on about some random Quidditch team.

Obsessed with the radio, no matter what is on it, whether it be talk shows or music.

Dresses up as old witch and spies for the Order in Knockturn Alley. Hates it, but she's good at it.

Severely underestimated by everyone, no matter what side their on, except for her old friends.

Luna's godmother!!!!

Denies being an animal person, but is obsessed with foxes. Has fox jewellery, stickers, pens, anything fox related.

I’m a sad lesbian and he’s my favourite character at this point, so yknow, why not?

-regulus could speak better french than anyone else in the family

-pandora and narcissa hardly knew each other, but they both went to regulus’s funeral and broke down together, having lost someone who mattered the most

-him and narcissa were very close for a while. she had an absolute breakdown when he died

-regulus loved flowers. any flowers. bright flowers, boring flowers, just anything, he thought they were so amazing

-regulus was always the perfect child, and despite everything his mom did, he really did care about his parents

-he was a death eater. when he was young, he shared his parents blood supremacist views, but that changed by the time he turned 17

-since he got the dark mark at 16, he was the youngest of his friends to get it. when he got it, bellatrix cheered and was so proud of him, he felt like he’d finally done something right

-regulus was a cat person. he adored cats, and always wanted a pet

-he loved black coffee, refused to have anything in it, however he loved green tea and refused to have anything with it

-would not sleep for three days and then would wonder why he couldn’t function for the next week

-would’ve been a hat stall if he wasn’t a pureblood with blood supremacist views. could’ve been a slytherin, ravenclaw, or gryffindor

-discovered the room of requirement by himself and used to go in there to read or so he could just be by himself in peace

-knew all about the marauders being animagi, and about remus being a werewolf. he just never cared enough to say anything

-he was extremely smart. excelled in potions and arithmancy

-also did surprisingly well in divination, even tho no one expected it

-actually had several hufflepuff friends, just never let his parents know

-he used to dream of inheriting 12 grimmauld place if his brother didn’t want it. he loved the place, absolutely adored it, and he thought of it belonging to sirius and cried

-when he died, he watched over sirius constantly. his spirit lingered around grimmauld place

-he used to go on adventures through the forbidden forest. no one ever said anything to him about it

-he was queer, no clue how to explain his sexuality

-him and peter actually got along well in hogwarts, but when peter died regulus screamed at him for betraying his brother and ruining everything

-regulus and marlene would’ve been excellent friends. neither of them had any clue what was going on in their lives or what they were doing, and it drew them together

Rating some of the Marauders era / snera™️ ships (ships involving ppl the Marauders and Severus went to school with) I've been exposed to because I'm drunk and feeling spicy. Romantic ships only, I have different opinions on the brotps. I could talk about this all night but I chose not to make a long post.

Disclaimer: this is heavily influenced by headcanons I've convinced myself are canon and generally my opinions. Not in order from best to worst because I am drunk and I'm not proofreading this.

Prongsfoot/Starbucks/James x Sirius 10/10. James is just as inobservant as Harry. Of course he didn't notice that Sirius had a crush on him. James didn't even notice he himself was into Sirius. Love it.

Jily/James x Lily 2/10. In my heart Lily is a lesbian. Jily has some potential as a comphet storyline where they're both actually gay and think of each other as the man/woman they're supposed to like. Other than that it's a no from me.

Wolfstar/Remus x Sirius 1/10. Unpopular opinion again, I know. I see Remus having a one-sided crush on Sirius before the prank, but honestly I'm a Ronks stan because I can project my insecurities on Remus and have been in love with Tonks for years and I hate the idea of them being in a relationship with anyone else but each other. Plus, I really don't see Sirius committing and definitely not to Remus. Sirius is a bachelor for life and I identity with that. Another reason to dismiss this ship.

Snily/Severus x Lily 1/10. The only reason I don't rate this at 0 is because they're one of my favourite brotps. She's gay and not his type, they're sister souls, just look at the doe patronuses, they found security in each other like does in a herd etc. and I hate it when people say there were romantic feelings involved. I could accept this with fem!Snape though.

Starchaser (wtf is this name)/Jegulus/James x Regulus 4/10. I think it's funny to have James falling in love with his best friend's brother. I don't have any negative feelings about the ship itself. HOWEVER. As someone who has been exposed to Jegulus content despite not looking for it and Snily content despite not looking for it. Jegulus feels like m/m Snily for people who hate Snape. The content (I've seen) has the same vibe and I cannot get over that.

Remus x Lily 3/10. If I were able to see Lily as not a lesbian I would love this, not as an endgame thing but more as a teen romance that ended on ok terms before they both moved on. No strong feeling about this tbh.

Snegulus/Severus x Regulus 4/10. They're definitely not in love but they're both sluts so they probably fucked and it was probably hot. That's all.

Lily x Mary MacDonald 3/10. I would consider this as another one-sided crush situation. Mary is the token straight in their dorm and that's unfortunate for Lily.

Snucius/Severus x Lucius 8/10. They're not endgame. But they fuck. I refuse to consider Sirius calling Severus Lucius's lapdog anything but calling him his sugar baby. I don't rate this higher because Snucissa is better than just the men.

Lily x Pandora Lovegood 10/10. I don't know if they ever interacted or if they even went to school at the same time but I'm in love with the idea of them together.

Severus x Mulciber 3/10. Another one-sided crush sitch. Snape was infatuated with Mulciber at a certain point, Mulciber (forgot his first name sorry) knew and took advantage of it. That's Snape's slut origin story.

Snupin / Severus x Remus 3/10. They would never date. Doesn't fit my fantasy or the reality of their relationship. But hate-fucking in one of their offices while Remus is employed at Hogwarts? I see that. I dig it.

hell yeah lesbians rise up!!!! i included some of my own headcanons of how gay and lesbian stuff is in twst because i think it’s nice to have that there!

riddle rosehearts

riddle is immediately mortified- not because it turns out his crush is a lesbian, but because he’s now horrified all his “courting” may have come off as a bother or inappropriate. he’ll go beet red and apologize for that. he- he didn’t know! he didn’t mean to impose himself- argh!

is he heartbroken? a little. but he’s more worried that he may have come off as pushy. the queen of hearts may have been overbearing, but she never went out of her way to specifically bother anyone, and riddle feels the same way. he really really wants to make it clear he didn’t mean to bother her oh god-

once he calms down a bit, he’ll just, kinda... compose himself and apologize once more. if he had known, he’d probably not have made any advances (even though his “flirting” was more along the lines of inviting to unbirthday parties and sharing trey’s baking. it was nothing too invasive- hell, riddle’s crush wasn’t even aware he was flirting with her)

riddle will also bashfully ask if... well, even if he has no chance with her, he hopes that they can still remain friends. romantic or platonic feelings, he still really gets along with her- hell, everyone’s grown used to having her at the unbirthday parties, and trey already bakes extra for her every time.

he’ll take the title of being her friend with pride. riddle will quickly swallow down his heartbreak: this is something that has to be this way, and the fact that she likes girls simply means he’ll just be the best guy friend she possibly can have

leona kingscholar

leona “woman respecter” kingscholar takes the information well. he just kinda goes ‘oh’, nods, and takes a nap.

welp, there’s nothing to be done, so why get all sad and mopey? if the little herbivore likes girls, more power to her. welp, women are pretty and powerful. he understands why they like women. makes sense

leona is a bit sad, sure, but it’s only natural. he doesn’t dwell on it for long, though. if something can’t be changed, there’s no sense in thinking it over and over: he’s a man and his crush likes women, so that’s the end of that

despite it being so clear cut for him, he will take some time to talk everything out with her. he wants to make it clear: he was pursuing her romantically before, and he won’t anymore. he didn’t know she was a lesbian before, and now he knows

still, leona’s got a soft spot for the little herbivore. even though he might not be pursuing her anymore, it doesn’t change the fact he still feels like he’s gotta watch over her and help her. 

he’s just gonna be his usual grumpy self, really. he’ll still invite her over to practice magift, he’ll still tease them and call them “herbivore”. is he still in love? leona won’t ever mention it, really. does it matter? she’s his friend now, even if he calls her “annoying herbivore” whenever she wakes him up, and that’s pretty much all he could ask for

which is to say, this isn’t anything new to azul. same-sex relationships are more common in his home than what he’s seen in the surface, but it’s not like lesbians are a new concept to him

oh don’t get it wrong he does cry when his darling tells him she’s not into men. he cries and then he lets her hug him until he stops. he then proceeds to be so mortified over it all he wishes he could go hide in his octopus pot

after apologizing for... that ordeal, azul will return to his usual composed self. it’s almost hard to tell he was a sniffling mess just a few minutes before if it weren’t for his puffy eyes

he composes himself quickly because, well... when he pictured himself getting turned down, it was always painful- old insecurities flaring, being told he wasn’t enough- but this was... not painful? it’s not as if he wasn’t good enough or something. his crush was just a lesbian! it’s not his fault, so it’s hard for him to feel sad over it

azul might even feel a bit bad for her. she’s... stuck in this all boy’s school, huh? the only girls here are probably the fae that control the weather... and the talking portraits...?

even though there’s really no girls for her to talk to, azul will still take on a protective attitude over her, giving the “if any girl breaks your heart tell me and the twins and we will avenge you” talk. azul doesn’t know why any girl would hurt her heart, because in his eyes she’s precious, but hey, he’s gotta protect his friend, right?

kalim takes it... so well. like, almost shockingly well? it’s like he processed the information in record speed, sorted out his own feelings immediately, and made peace with it all in a matter of seconds

kalim has many sisters around his age. one in ten people are gay. what i am getting at is kalim has lesbian sisters and so this revelation that his crush is lesbian doesn’t shake his world too much

he’ll admit it stings a little- love is a powerful thing, after all! but he thinks people who pursue others who are clearly not interested are scummy, and he’d never do anything like that

in his mind, it’s an easy ordeal. he trusts and likes her. she sees him as a close friend, and that’s the most he can be. so really, he should just be happy he’s as close to her as can be! he’s already at the top rung of being close to her, so he’s hit the goal, right?

kalim, god bless his heart, is that friend who will present his lesbian friends to any other lesbian friend he has. he has good intentions, but it might get a little tiring? and a bit overwhelming too when he brings up that he has sisters right around his age who are also into girls and suddenly he’s making plans for a big mixer party and oh god jamil please help and put a stop to this before it gets out of control please help he’s already planning a menu-

he’s almost surprised at how getting turned down like this just... didn’t bruise his ego at all. his efforts weren’t useless, he wasn’t doing things wrong, it simply couldn’t work! honestly, vil would have been more hurt if he’d put all this effort and his crush had been straight and still turned him down

hmm, so she’s into girls... then being here, in an academy full of men (who are, in vil’s opinion, horribly unrefined and ungraceful) must be rough.

just because he’s no longer trying to pursue a relationship with her does not mean that he’ll stop inviting her over for skincare or for trying on clothes. absolutely not. the fact vil even was attracted to her in the first place is because he saw her as someone with potential and that has not changed

he will immediately position himself as a big brother / best friend. just because he’s her friend doesn’t mean he’s gonna let her slack, though! he’s still gonna be checking she follows the skincare routine he set up for her, and that she’s eating and sleeping well- as much as he says it’s because he “wants to make her potential shine” or whatever, it’s just... overwhelmingly clear he just cares about her as a friend

out of all the ways he imagined getting turned down this has to be the one that he had NOT pictured and at the same time, it’s kinda the best one? crush was a lesbian so it wouldn’t work out, 10/10 turn down, didn’t make him go into a self deprecating vortex

once again, it’s the age old relief of “yes, i got turned down by my crush, but it wasn’t my fault, because it turned out she was a lesbian”. idia had ran so many scenarios of being turned down, of his crush being disgusted at him, that it all being resolved into her not liking men at all is... almost relieving?

and you know what. he gets it. when he sees his figurines and posters of his favourite idols and anime girls it’s like well duh of course she likes girls because girls are cute? 

he’s gonna have her rate his waifu tierlist. what? it’s not- it’s not weird, is it?! he’s just trying to bond, and- urgh, he kinda wants to know what her opinion on his waifus is. because his waifus are cute girls and she likes girls so ?? it makes sense? right? (idia might cry if she says his waifus aren’t That Good)

this whole ordeal might also result in the almost hilarious scenario in which ortho just straight up goes “Hey niichan, what is a lesbian?”

learning that his closest friend likes girls opens pandora’s box, the box being idia making his friend review every anime girl and gacha or visual novel girl that HE likes

did you know reptiles are also quite gay? there’s even a species of lizard that’s just, entirely female. dragons are reptiles.

malleus, bless his heart, is not good at reading people. his crush will need to be Direct. trying to use metaphors like “I swing the other way”, or “I play for the other team” do nothing but further confuse him- when his crush finally cracks down and just goes “what I’m trying to say is I’m a lesbian” he finally, finally, understands what this is all about

he feels a little sad- it does sting, a bit, to know things can’t work out, but he’s also... happy. if she told him, that means she trusts him, right? 

malleus is happy enough to just have A Friend in general, even if he’d never admit he’s usually lonely. most people tend to run from him or be so intimidated they shiver when they hear his name. and yet, against all odds, he’s found a friend who likes being by his side, someone who didn’t know all the baggage that comes with his name. he’d be a fool to tear down that friendship just because he’s learnt it’ll stay platonic

also, as mentioned before, it’s not like homosexuality is some sort of taboo or odd subject. it’s actually quite common amongst the fae, especially those in Malleus’ kingdom. although he does say he can’t introduce her to any cute fae girls. he.... is not friends with any. (he just doesn’t have a lot of friends in general, but he refuses to say that because he... doesn’t want to sound “mopey”, lile lilia says he is)
