"Grandfather."

Ra's knew who the boy was the moment he'd snuck into the room. He'd allowed the child--more man than child now, but everyone was a child compared to him--moments to steel himself while Ra's refrained from acknowledging his presence. The boy's breath was barely audible but unsteady, and a drop of something fell to the floor.

His grandson was injured. "Danyal," he greeted and finally gazed upon him for the first time in seven years.

Danyal had grown into his father's height, yet stayed lean in regards to his musculature. His black hair had grown out of the League-regulation haircut, held back in a messy braid. He held himself as strong as he could, but kept an arm wrapped around his stomach. His shirt--standard American teenage garb, he dismissed--was spotted with blood and he could see bandages poking out from under the cloth.

With great care, Danyal knelt before the Demon Head and recited the Oath of Loyalty.

Ra's watched.

The boy's tongue, fat with English, spoke the League's variant of Arabic with the grace of a mace to the head, yet his words were clear. He took his time speaking the oath, carefully sounding out words, working hard to avoid mispronunciation. The Oath in question was the older version, from before Deathstroke's insurrection, but Danyal spoke it with a calm certainty that it would be accepted.

And without a doubt, it would be accepted.

Talia's eldest son had been born from her body instead of through science, a mistake that nearly cost her the child and damaged him upon birth. While the best doctors in the world saved his life, Danyal Al Ghul would always be weak in a fight, always prone to illness, always struggling to excel. When it became clear that the boy couldn't become the next Demon Head, Ra's sent Talia to create a replacement while arrangements were made for her first child to be taught business and science, for the betterment of the League. Danyal, very much his father's child, thrived in his intellectual pursuits while Damian grew and developed into a budding assassin.

But Danyal was more like his father than he'd ever knew. Ra's couldn't miss the signs of one of his family turning away from the League. Not the mission--Danyal had written several university level papers defending the environment by the time the boy was 10--but Ra's methods...

Ra's had a conundrum. Danyal was a dedicated conservationist; once the boy was an adult, Ra's was certain he'd take the world by storm and bring the League to new heights. But if he forced his methods onto Danyal, he could create an enemy of him, just as his father was.

Ra's gave Danyal an offer; Danyal would be allowed to leave the League and live a normal life if and only if he faked his own death in such a way that reinforced Damian's loyalty to the League of Assassins.

Danyal had been hesitant at first, but past his test with flying colors. Instigating one of the more unstable assassins into organizing a coup, cutting the insurgents off near immediately, but "dying" protecting both his younger brother and mother. It was a masterful performance. Even Talia hadn't known about the deceit.

And yet, here he was, on his knees, pledging loyalty. Danyal knew what that meant, knew what he was returning to, which morals he would be allowed to keep.

"And what do you bring with you, child of no one?" Why should the League accept the return of this child, who left once before?

Danyal met his eyes. "I bring with me, my team, who are loyal to me and me alone. I bring with me, research surrounding the Lazarus Pits, in origins and further uses for the waters." Ra's raised an eyebrow, and Danyal smirked. "I bring with me, my knowledge, nurtured within this very home and sharpened in the world outside. I bring with me, my weapons, built with my own hands. I bring with me... my body, finally healthy and whole." He brought his head down to the floor, trembling with pain. "I bring my whole self to the Demon's Head, for Him to accept or reject."

Ra's smiled. "By the shadows that guard our order and the blood that binds us, I accept this oath. From this day forward, you are an instrument of the League, a harbinger of justice, and a weapon in the hand of Ra's Al Ghul."

Danyal returned to his feet, swaying percariously. He needed immediate medical attention. Despite this, he continued, "Long live the League of Assassins. Long live Ra's Al Ghul."

And he collapsed onto the floor.

There are a few reasons that I haven't posted for a few days. The first is that I posted every day for over 2 weeks and exhausted my horniness for now. It'll be back soon, don't worry.

The other reason is that I have a big writing assignment due in a few weeks in my non-tf life (who can say if it's my real life?). By mid-August, that will be mostly done and I will be back to looking for a job and transforming horny boys for fun. I might come back briefly before then if I get ahead and feel inspired to write some stories.

I won't say exactly when I'll be back to posting regularly, but if you're all very good boys and I have 1000 followers by the time I come back, I'll make sure I do something extra special to celebrate ;)

Wind befriends crab :)

"Look, I built the crab a little house," Wind called. "Now he won't get eaten by birds." He pointed to the shelter of stacked rocks he'd erected over the small red crab on the pebbly beach.

"That's great, kid. How do we get off this island?" Warriors asked.

"We don't," Wind said. "We're doomed to succumb to starvation on this deserted isle."

"Haha very funny. Seriously. How are we getting out of here?"

"Wars. Relax. Everything's fine. I know where we are." "

"Then where are we?"

"It's an unpopulated jungle island but there's a trade route that passes right by here. We just have to wait until a ship passes and flag it down. Shouldn't take more than a few days at most."

"So we basically get to have a beach vacation until someone rescues us?"

"Exactly!"

"Thank the Spirits!"

"Before we get too far into fun and games, we need to set up--" Time started but no one was listening. Wind ran off down to the surf, followed by shortly by Four. Wolfie was already near the water's edge, rolling in a dead fish. Warriors flopped onto his back and threw his arm over his eyes. Wild and Hyrule took off for the jungle with Legend hurrying after them. Only Sky stood smiling pleasantly at Time.

"What were you saying?" He said.

"Ah, never mind," Time said. "Go have fun, Sky."

"We have 27 crab houses in crab city so far," Wind told Time. "And more crab houses being built all the time!" He motioned to Sky and Four whom he'd conscripted to build crab houses for every crab they had found at the beach.

There was a shout behind them and they looked back to find Warriors flailing on the ground. He jumped to his feet flinging several crabs into the seagrass around him.

"You alright?" Time asked.

"I just woke up to legs on my face. Tiny armored ghoma legs. It was terrifying," Warriors shivered.

"Those are crabs," Wind said. "There's a lot of them around."

"AAAAAHAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Hyrule screamed running out of the jungle. "WATCH OUT! THEY'RE COMING!"

"What's coming?!" Sky asked, alarmed.

"Its... an invasion!" Hyrule huffed resting hands on his knees.

"What?! There's no monsters on this island!" Wind exclaimed jumping up.

"COMING IN HOT!" Legend yelled bursting out of the trees. "Out of the way! Clear a path!"

"Holy Hylia!" Warriors jumped out of Legend's way. "What's going on?!"

"That!" Legend pointed.

Wild sprinted out of the woods shrieking in terror and covered head to toe in bright red crabs.

"Come on! This way! Into the water!" Legend called to Wild. Wild plowed into the waves and droped to his hands and knees letting the next waves of water lift and wash off all of the crabs off his body.

"There you go. Wash them all off. You're alright. They're mostly harmless," Legend said.

"Easy for you to say!" Wild retorted with a crab hanging off of his nose by it's claw.

"I don't understand. What's going on?" Wind asked.

"Crabs!" Wild, Hyrule and Legend said all at the same time.

"I don't understand it either, but the jungle is completely full and crawling with crabs--every square inch in covered with them--and they're all crawling right toward us," Hyrule explained.

"What do we do? Are they dangerous?" Sky asked anxiously.

"No they're not dangerous--" Wind said.

"Lies!" Wild said trying to coax the crab on his nose to let go.

"If we don't all want to end up like Wild completely covered in crabs, we need to find a way off the island," Legend said.

"Woof woof arf woof arf awooo!" Wolfie said.

"Wolfie, we can't understand you--" Time started.

"Look!" Four exclaimed and pointed at the trees. It took a moment, but then they saw it. The trees, the shrubs, the logs, the vines, the rocks all started moving and shifting from their ordinary greens and browns and greys to pinkish reddish hues. There were thousands of them. Even millions.

The crabs were coming.

There was a crackle and Twilight shifted back into Hylian.

"We should build a raft out of the driftwood," he suggested.

"We can float in the middle of the bay," Wind agreed.

"Right," Time said. "Let's do that then."

"This is probably the weirdest thing I think we have ever done," Warriors said dangling his bare feet off the raft and into the water.

"I still say we should have made a bonfire and eaten the crabs," Hyrule said crossing his arms. "We can't cook at all on this raft."

"We can't eat a bazillion crabs," Wind said.

"Yes we can," Hyrule answered. "I don't know about you but I'm starving."

"Can we please not talk about food or eating?" Legend said laying down with one hand covering his eyes.

"You good, vet?" Twilight asked.

"Do I look like I'm okay?"

"How long do you think this... event... will last?" Four asked eyeing the island which was now completely covered with crabs migrating into the ocean.

"I have absolutely no idea," Wind answered. "I've never seen anything like this before."

"Hey. What's cracking?" A new voice called. Nine heads turned around to look at a pair of sailors in a rowboat. At the mouth of the bay, Tetra's ship was anchored.

"Tetra!" Wind cried, elated.

"Thank the three we're saved!" Legend sighed.

Let's Do Writing Prompts (A Game)!

So, I have these set of cards that I use whenever I need to find inspiration to write (it's not really meant to be used in the way I am using it, but that's beside the point). So, I decided to share the game and the writing prompt with you all. If you are interested, read on...

So, this here is the deck of cards called "Talecraft".

It has 3 different types of cards:

The red sun one is called a "Genre" stack, the blue gender symbols are called "Archetypes", and the yellow key are Key cards.

I've pulled from the stack (after shuffling it, of course) one genre card, two archetype cards, and a key card which will be the prompt.

So, let me explain what the actual prompt is:

Write a Forbidden Love Horror story with a Chosen One and a Coquettish Woman. You can pick which of the Archetype characters is the main protagonist and which one is the main antagonist. It can be an original story, it can be a fanfic. But, if you want to do this you HAVE to comment here a link to your work so that I can read it (and comment, of course).

So, for information's sake (because Tumblr is still acting weird for me with commenting on my own posts or on other's and also replying to them, I'm going to put the card explanation for the Chosen One card here (since it was hidden behind The Coquette card):

Brennan Lee Mulligan's anti-capitalist origin story

In the the most recent Fireside Chat for World's Beyond Number (episode 7 "Kahuna", available on their Patreon), Erika prompts Brennan to talk about "that crazy Christmas party you went to".

Brennan recounts an experience from when he was struggling to get by as a young performer/writer in New York City. His day job was as a caterer, and they had been hired to cater an ultra-wealthy NYC Christmas Party. It's full of details of gross decadence, but in the chat he describes what affected him the most:

"The thing that really fucked me up [about that party was that] I was at a period in my life [living] in New York where I was like 'Yea, I'm really hungry and scared all the time, but I'm living the bohemian dream! I'm a struggling artist! When I go out on the weekend and I'm dancing with my friends, no one will ever feel the depth of joy I feel [because it comes from] struggling and grinding out here with my friends."

"[Then, at that Christmas party,] I saw those rich heirs and heiresses dance... and they were having a better time than me, and it wasn't close! I watched these rich people dance with the most reckless abandon, and their faces [wore an expression reflecting that] 'We're having a great time, uncomplicatedly! We're not examining this! It's so fun!'... and then I heard my stomach [growl]."

MBTI Legacy Challenge 16 Generations Inspired by the 16 Myers-Briggs Types

A TS4 Legacy Challenge by @windslar

The MBTI Legacy Challenge is inspired by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator – a pseudoscientific self-report questionnaire that measures one’s preferences on four dimensions of personality type. The test attempts to assign a value to each of four categories: introversion or extraversion, sensing or intuition, thinking or feeling, and judging or perceiving. One’s four-letter test result represents 1 of 16 possible types. The underlying assumption of MBTI is that each type has specific preferences in the way they interpret their experiences.

This legacy challenge is about diving deeper into the personalities of your sims beyond the limitations of the game. Each type’s preferences underpin their interests, needs, values, and motivation. And in exploring each generation, decisions are made with that particular personality in mind. There are no backstories; rather, there are detailed descriptions and curated lists of aspirations, traits, and careers that are deliberately left open-ended so you can create unique stories. There are also scenarios and prompts specific to each type that affect the lives of your sims in relation to their career, love life, and relationship with their children. No two MBTI Legacy Challenges will ever be the same. This challenge is for players who love structure but also love the freedom to be creative in their gameplay and storytelling.

Write your book STEP BY STEP

hello hello, it's me again!

today i'm bringing you a step-by-step / checklist to finally get your book done. i know it can be a bit complicated to put everything together to make your idea come to life (you're definitely not alone!)

that's why i compiled some tips and made this post, in hopes to help some author out there :D

let's get started.

PREMISE

assuming you already have a good idea in mind, you should start by writing a premise. to help you with that, try to answer these questions:

who is the main character?

what are their goals?

which troubles will they face / what's stopping them from achieving their goals?

do they have an opponent? if so, who?

now that you know the answers to these questions, it's time to write the premise. the premise consists in a sentence that summarizes your whole idea.

PLOT OUTLINE

there are infinite ways to plot your story. you can do it by writing down ideas and linking them together, following a scheme, or any other method.

the most common plot outlines are these:

synopsis outline: one to two pages, where you hit all the major beats of the story

in-depth outline: outline each chapter/scene

snowflake method: develop the premise into a bigger paragraph, and that paragraph into a page (etc.) until you have the whole outline of your story

booken method: plot the start and end of the story, and the main characters

the novel factory created plot sheets for free, and you can choose from eight different templates. you might want to check it out!

KNOW YOUR CHARACTERS

having your outline defined, you should start developing your characters now. the main character's profile might be more detailed than the others, however, it's up to you. there are many character sheets out there on the internet that will help you create flawless characters.

at this point, you should also define the narrator's voice, tone, etc, as well as the pace of your novel.

LOCATIONS

define the principal locations of your story, the settings, and where the story is taking place. it's important to know how the environment looks, and how your characters feel about it.

for this part, you might find it useful to do some research about some locations, if you're not familiar with them. find inspiration on Pinterest, Tumblr, or even on books, paintings, and art. everything is valid.

if your story takes place in a fantasy environment, you might need to fill out a template to create it or write down the way you imagine it to be. try to get as many details as possible, so there are no holes when developing the novel.

SUBPLOTS

you might want to give more depth to your novel by developing a subplot (or more than one). make sure it doesn't get too confusing or that doesn't take the focus away from the main action.

the subplot can be a romance, another character's relationship, a character's arc, a backstory, etc. this will make your story more real and 3D, more realistic.

develop it as a side story and mix it with the principal plot but don't make it as important as the main story, otherwise, none of the plots will make an impact.

SYNOPSIS

write a synopsis as long as you wish, covering every important part of the story. this will help you to really know your idea, and have a solid structure for it. it can range from 500 to 2,500 words, but you don't have to restrict yourself to a number.

things the synopsis should cover:

the status quo

the complication

initial challenges

midpoint

further challenges

the low point

the climax

the resolution

DRAFT

and we get to the best part which is writing! now that you know everything about your story, characters, locations, and scenes, all you have to do is to put all that together in words. don't feel pressured to make everything look perfect already, just write what comes to your mind. if you have a new idea for the plot, good, write it down! if this character doesn't make sense anymore, okay, get rid of them. just go with the flow, following the structure you've planned, and everything starts to come to life.

i know it's so tempting to go back, read what you wrote, and start editing and polishing, but trust me, don't do that! it's a waste of time, and you will take so much more time to finish your first draft. in fact, i've given up on so many stories because of that...

just when you finish the first draft, you will re-read everything and start editing, fixing plot holes, changing what doesn't fit well, etc. but for now, just write, get the first draft done. enjoy the process, don't rush.

Your breath tickled his cheek and he smiled. You couldn't see it, but his eyes crinkled the way you loved it. He missed you so much, so, so much.

Seungcheol had been gone a few months for their tour. When he told you his flight home would be a red-eye flight, arriving in the ungodly hours of the morning, he knew better than to expect you to be there to fetch him. He knew how busy you were already after all the work stories you were telling him over videocalls, with him constantly wishing he could be beside you instead to calm you the way he knew would work.

So when he arrived home, it took all his willpower to wake you up—he admired how adorable you looked in your sleep. But he knew you'd be in for a more pleasant surprise when you saw him in the flesh after so long.

“Wake up, baby.” You felt gentle lips land on your forehead, half-waking you from your deep slumber. Stop waking me up, was your immediate thought.

“Ten more minutes, mom.” You bat away the offending lips with a hand, and Seungcheol bit back the giggle threatening to come out.

“I’m home, love. Wake up.” You open your eyes and find his smiling ones, calm and comforting. Your line of sight then drifts to the clock hanging on the wall behind him—7:00 am. Oh, no.

“FUCK I’M LATE.”

Well, there went a supposedly peaceful morning.

You jumped out of your seat and hopped into the shower without even batting an eye toward Cheol, who was stunned to silence after your exclamation.

He just followed you to the shower and stood by the door. “Baby, what are you late for?”

“The board meeting! It’s in an hour!”

Ah, shit. Yep, he told you how important this specific board meeting was. It explains why he found you the way he did, slumped over your desk with an open laptop and sheets of paper strewn across it. You must’ve worked late into the wee hours of the morning while he was flying home.

You rush through your shower, your skincare routine, your breakfast that—thankfully—Cheol prepared in a rush while you were preoccupied. You were flying between your room and the dining room and the bathroom, frazzled and scatterbrained—both of which you could not afford to be this morning.

You shrug on your blazer while attempting to even out your eyebrow makeup, which you soon abandon because the piece of bread you were chewing was attempting to block your airway with how fast you were trying to chew. You rush to the kitchen to grab a drink, but then—

“FUCK!”

The sound of shattering glass resounded across the apartment. You were drenched, water soaking through your business attire and the kitchen floor following suit, the large shards from the broken pitcher were scattered across the floor. You were rendered still in shock, trying but failing to calm down the breaths that grew shallower by the second and the tears that were blurring your vision.

Cheol was just a few steps away, washing the dishes. He was trying to assess the situation before jumping in, but he couldn’t help it when you started saying “Cheol…” in the most heartbroken tone he’d ever heard.

He held out his hands and you held on to them as if they were your lifeline. “Come here, come to me. Be careful of the glass.” He guided you through and out of the mess, leading you to an open area to make sure you were both safe.

“Baby, are you okay? Are you hurt?” He immediately grabs your hands and carefully runs his hands across your body and clothes to make sure no stray glass shards will get you injured. You couldn’t answer him because you were too focused on regulating your breathing. When he was sure you were not hurt, he looked straight into your eyes and held your hands.

“Breathe with me. Can you do that?” You nod. “Ready?” He takes in a deep breath, and you follow suit but fail.

“Cheol, I’ll be late, I can’t be late—”

“I know, but you have to breathe.”

“No, you don’t understand—”

“No. Listen to me.” He looks you sternly in the eye. “You can’t leave the house like this, you’ll get hurt. We need to calm down first, okay? Breathe with me, okay?” Inhale. Hold. Exhale. Repeat.

When your breathing finally slows and goes back to normal, that’s when you finally get a good look at him. He had no makeup on, showing the bags under his eyes that were more prominent than usual. He must have been living in his clothes for how many hours at this point. Above all, it sunk in how much you so badly missed him. You didn’t even greet him properly when he arrived.

“There we go. That’s my baby. Are you okay now?” Instead of answering him, you go in for a hug, one he eagerly returns. For a moment, you forget where you were and what time it was, until reality hit you again.

“Cheol, I’ll be late. I swear, I really can’t be late.”

“Don’t worry. I’ll drive you. Get changed, then you can do your makeup in the car. Tell your colleagues that your car broke down, while you were on the way—they’d have no choice but to believe that.”

“Okay.”

“And, love?”

You look at him. He kisses your forehead, pressing down with a tender firmness with a warmth that spreads throughout you, calming you down in an instant. As long as he was here by your side, you will be okay.

“You’ll be okay. I got you.”
