Okay I hate to make this kind of post but I’m extremely desperate at this point.

Long story short, I am having an absolutely horrible time getting my legal documents all sorted. My parents refuse to give me my social security card, and I can’t get a state ID or literally anything without one. I’m trying to get a replacement, but it’s been pretty slow going due to how difficult this shit is.

I’m technically not allowed to be living with my current roommates due to the fact I’m not paying for rent (can’t get a job without a state ID or a diploma/GED, can’t get any of that without a social security card). They could be evicted if this was found out, and nobody wants that.

So, I need somewhere else to live for the time being, until I can get my legal documents sorted. I can’t pay for rent due to the fact I have literally no money right now, but I’m more than willing to help out around the house (clean, take care of pets, that sorta thing. I can’t cook much) so I’m not just a freeloader. I hate to ask anyone this without knowing how long I need a place to stay, but I have literally no other choice at this point. I’m currently living in central Illinois and my roommates are willing to drive me wherever depending on how far away it is. If there is any line who can help me out, I’d really appreciate it.
