Kiss The Girl

Hey guys, sorry for being dead. Lol. School has been kicking my ass and so I wrote this little drabble for @dibbledoodle (WISH THEM A HAPPY BIRTHDAY)

Anyway, Its a Dib x Jade Leech so enjoy~!

Azul couldn't believe this. Being dragged along on a hiking trip with Jade, Floyd, and Dib?! A hiking trip?! Azul couldnt believe how this was happening to him as they reached the top of the mountain. It was a gorgeous sight and with plenty to see as Jade and Dib seemed to be busying themselves with chat about nature. Yet, Azul could feel the sweat dripping off of his brow as he scanned the view of the area they came to stop at.

Could… Mountains hold vast amounts of water? Such as a lake? Well, he has heard about lakes being surrounded by mountains but this was the first time we saw one at this high of altitude! The water must’ve been absolutely freezing if it weren't for the fact that the trio had come from freezing waters. 

“And this is Moraine Lake, are you curious as to why it is so turquoise in color, Dib?” Jade hummed out, a serene smile on his face as he turned to the shorter woman who could only stare in awe at the beautiful mountain range that surrounded the lake. 

“Because… Someone dropped a whole bunch of food coloring into the lake to make it a tourist spot?” Dib replied as she glanced over at Jade who could only chuckle at her response.

“Funny idea, but no. It is due to the glacier that feeds into this deposit that is later reflected from the rock flour being mixed into it… Does that make sense?” Jade asked out as he put his hand under his chin, wondering if he had confused Dib enough with the lore of the lake, hoping that Dib would only ask more questions about the said lake.

“Rock flour being refracted to make a koolaid color blue, yeah yeah I get it!” Dib stated back, looking back at the lake only to spot little two seater boats that she most definitely wanted to get on. Without a moment to pause, her hand grabbed onto Jade’s free hand and began to drag him down the side of the hill to the boats, leaving a confused Floyd and exhausted Azul behind.

“I cant believe we are here.” Azul stated out, closing his eyes as he was hunched over, hieving for his breath in the low altitude climate. 

“Do you wanna go watch them…?” Floyd asked out in his usual bored tone, and Azul thought about it for just a mere five seconds.

“Yes.” 

How could the sun set so fast within the mountains? Had they been rowing for a while?! Dib couldn't tell but she had been chatting with Jade the whole time. As for where they went? It didn't really matter to either of them. How the sun reflected off of the turquoise blue surface painting the snow capped mountains with a shimmering gold hue along their grayscale colors. Everything felt… So right.

“There you see her, sitting there across the way!”

Jade could feel his eyebrow twitch as he heard a voice pop up from the water around them. Azul, he assumed at least just by the sound of his voice. Always one for having an excellent voice unlike his brother Floyd.

“Shes got a lot to say, yet there's something about her.” 

Azul continued as both Floyd and Azul swam around the boat beneath them, evil smirks on their faces as they peeked up at Dib and Jade. Jade's expression was unreadable by the way he still held his placid smile as he stared at Dib across the boat. Yet, Dib's cheeks were slowly lighting up shades of pink as she listened to an all too familiar song. As the boat slowly spun around in a circle thanks to Azul's and Floyd's influence under the water.

“And you don't know why but you're dying to try, you wanna kiss the girl.”

Jade could only chuckle as he looked over at Dib who was staring into the water, trying to find the very obvious sirens who were urging Jade to attempt the unspeakable. Of course he wanted to kiss Dib, but he always thought he might've not had the biggest chance due to Leona being in his way. Yet… This was his chance!! 

“Dib, I…” Yet, before Jade could finish his sentence, a loud splash could be heard as Jade's eyes flashed to the rocking boat with a mischievous eel peeking over the boat, having purposely knocked it around. Jade could only blink once, snapping out of his shock as he heard the splash sounds of Dib within the cold glacier water.

“Jade!! Jade help! I fell! And there's no door for me to hold onto!!” Dib shouted out as they splashed around within the water while beneath the surface was Floyd chuckling away and Azul facepalming at the idiocy he was now getting dragged into during this time. As for Jade, he was snapping out of his momentary shock as he jumped into the water and began to carry Dib through the cold glacier water of the lake back to shore.

“A door, hm…? Do tell, is this another thing from your world Dib?” Jade asked out cooly as he brought Dib to the shore smiling down at Dib as they were sprawled out on the shoreline as they were panting for breath. “Wouldn't you like to know, just don't let go Jack— I mean Jade.” Dib responded before chilling, referencing an all too familiar movie.

Although at hearing and all too familiar wolfs name, Jade could only grumble ever so softly with his placid sinister smile. “And what is my reward for saving you, Dib?”

“Go on and kiss the girl!”

Azul and Floyd sang together from off in the water as Dib blushed slightly more as Jade's smile only widened more. 

“That sounds like a brilliant idea.”

Without a moment to spare, Jade leaned down to softly capture Dib's lips in a soft sharp toothed kiss which left Dib absolutely flushed as the scene began to fade away as an all too familiar alarm began to ring out in Dib's ears.

“Dib! Dib cmon!! You're gonna be late!” Grim called out as he threw a pillow at Dib as he tried his best to wake up Dib for the next day of classes. Dib could only blink slowly, their eyes open as they could stare up at the wooden ceiling of the Ramshackle and groan, putting their arm across their eyes as she sighed.

“It was all a dream… Yet, I know where to go hiking next time with Jade.”

Okay, so, the new Twisted Wonderland Masquerade cards look great, but I could not figure out what was going on with Silver’s mask just having a random line under one eye

UNTIL I saw the merch they have up for it on Aniplex that gives you a better look at the masks. That’s when I realized that it’s a flower

Which is, like, a neat idea, but then it hit me. That’s not just any flower, it’s a rose. Why would Silver have a rose mask? Because Aurora’s name when she was living with the fairies was Briar Rose. It’s a Sleeping Beauty reference!

Smitten Ace × reader drabble

I recently came back from a ve~ery long trip, and I've got a few ideas to share... to be honest, I used to be pretty annoyed by Ace when I first got into twst, but the more content I find of him, the more attractive this prick seems >:/ I swear, liking him as a character feels embarrassing... but who cares? Basically, this post is all about what I imagine travelling with a smitten Ace might be like.

So, almost half of my trip was spent riding the train to get to a camp with a hundred or two of other kids from my region, so you can guess it was eventful. Imagine going on such a trip with the first-years team, having to take a train for three days straight - it's basically like becoming roommates for a short while.

To get at least a sliver of privacy, you call dibs on a top bunk from the very start; that way you can hide away in a space of your own when social interactions start getting exhausting. Hearing that, Ace rushes to claim the bed opposite of yours. It takes him some effort to convince Deuce, who was actually supposed to take that place, to trade, without blowing his cover. When you enter the train car, Ace is already unpacking his things, jumping down his bunk (almost landing on Sebek) to throw your luggage onto a shelf.

Settling down isn't easy, with how many passengers are in the train car and how little space there is, but eventually everyone takes their seat.

The road promises to be long, and what better entertainment is there if not playing card games? Obviously, Ace has brought a whole pack of them, a laminated limited-edition deck with am intricate design that he snagged from his brother. Passing cards out for everyone and starting a game. As expected from someone who's been basically holding cards since crib, he wins every single time, pulling kings and aces seemingly out of nowhere (or, perhaps, right from his sleeves...). When he exits the game, Ace leans closer to you, watching the way you use your deck and giving subtle hints on how to turn the situation in your favor, smirking proudly when you start picking up and winning more frequently.

Whenever your little squad sits down for a meal, Trappola takes a seat as close as possible - either in front of you or at your side. You two often trade or share, swapping food you don't like for something you have a liking for. Ace would never be caught dead admitting to it, but I feel like he might sometimes lie about hating some snack or desert, just to have a reason to share with you.

I don't even doubt that he'd be the one to initiate playing something like truth or dare later into the evening, having prepared a full list of embarrassing questions and wild dares specifically for this occasion. Expect him to bluescreen if, when dared to kiss the most handsome guy around, you pick anyone except him.

And eventually night rolls around. Clad in a complect of comfortable night clothes, you fluff up a pillow and a blanket, wrapping yourself up cozily and turning on one side. You face Ace, barely making out his features in the dark. His two crimson eyes stare into your face, and if at that moment all lights were on, you would've noticed a hint of fondness in his expression. Propping his head up on a hand, Ace whispers,"

Asleep yet?"

You two talk quietly for a few more hours into the night. School, family, plans for future - it's so easy to share with him, conversation flowing naturally. Contrary to the confident and boisterous voice he usually equips around others, right now he sounds gentle. No persona to upkeep (assuming that all others have fallen asleep long ago), nothing to hide or prove; and as you feel your eyelids grow closing and head sinking into the pillow, you succumb to heavy sleep of exhaustion.

The last thing you hear before dozing off is a far-away:

"Good night... dream of me, yeah?"

Trey - When you straighten out his hat for him + When you enjoy his desserts - It was time for yet another un-birthday party at the Heartslabyul dorm, and Trey had invited you to come along, despite the fact you were from the Ramshackle dorm. - His intentions on inviting you were quite innocent- he just wanted you to try out a new tart recipe that he made specifically for this (non)event, and he even asked Riddle if it was alright for you to come too! - But then the day finally came and Trey found himself getting increasingly nervous by the minute. Like, of course, they'd like it, everyone tells him that he's a master at baking! And if they don't like it, then, well....He could always just switch the taste to something that he knows that you like, right? (It's not as if he's poured his heart and soul into this one single tart just for you) - And so the hours slowly ticked by and it was time for the un-birthday party to start. Following the usual proceedings of the party under the Queen's watchful eye, Trey found you talking amongst some of the other card soldiers of the dorm. - And out of the corner of your eye, you see Trey looking in your direction, and you excuse yourself from the conversation to go to him, after all, he promised you first dibs on his new tart recipe! There was no way that you were going to let this chance pass you by in the unfortunate event that someone (ahem, Ace and Grim) gets to it before you do. - "Hello, Trey!" you exclaim as you approach his person, and you notice that his attire, while rather dashing (you could never get over how handsome he looks in his formal dorm uniform, but that topic is for another day), was looking a bit misshapen. He was fidgeting with his glasses and straightening his clothes, but the assortment of accessories were all slightly off center, especially his hat in particular. On such a windy day like this, you were surprised that his hat hadn't just blown away in the wind yet, so when you were close enough to him, you reached up on your toes and affixed his hat in the correct space. - "Sorry, your hat just looked like it was going to come off any minute! But you look nice, as always Trey!" you beam at him innocently. - Now, you knew just from his body language that Trey was already super nervous about something- you just didn't know what. You had your suspicions that maybe Trey had forgotten to paint a few of the roses or something similar to that effect about the rules, but then you noticed that his face started turning into the brightest shade of pink you've ever seen on him. - You didn't want to make any assumptions that he was getting flustered because you had simply fixed his hat (it would be rather embarrassing if you were wrong about this, after all), so you decided that it would be a great idea to test this hypothesis further. I mean, his hat wasn't the only accessory that was crooked, after all. - Eventually Trey manages to take you to the tart that you've been looking forward to since you've gotten here (little did he know that, at this moment, you cared more about how to tease Trey even more, rather than the dessert itself) - So with eyes full of anticipation, he watched you grab the first slice of the tart (with the Queen's permission, of course) and take the first bite. - Well, your initial plan was to keep teasing him about his flushed face and nervousness, but you forgot all about those plans as the tart was so full of deliciousness that you almost began to cry. It was possibly one of the best tarts you've ever tasted in your life. The crust was crisp and flakey, but not too fragile nor too soggy! The inside of the tart was filled with a mixture of your favorite fruits  and a mouthwatering filling that made it almost impossible to resist another bite. - Oh, the relief that he felt in his heart when he watched you enjoy the tart he made as he was thinking of you. Just watching you gave him enough happiness to last him the rest of his lifetime, but then he came to a sudden realization... Maybe he wants you to stay by his side. Just a bit longer.

Cater - When you send private messages to his Magicam - Well, after you explained to Cater that the only reason why you didn't have a phone was because you were sent to this world without yours, Cater decided (in all his generosity!) to buy you a new one himself. - Of course, he told you that the main reason for this purchase was so that you could follow his Magicam, but you know Cater well enough by now that he's also just worried about you- but he'd never admit it. 'If you were stranded somewhere and without a phone, how would he be able to find you? You're completely defenseless without being able to use magic too!' you'd imagine that to be his true thoughts on the matter, or at least you hoped so. - So of course you graciously accepted his gift- you really did miss having a phone, and it's not everyday that you find someone willing to buy one for you. - So as a little thank you to Cater, you made an account on Magicam and started following him. You noticed that the app worked very similar (if not exactly like) Instagram, so you had no problems at all getting used to the UI and it's functions. But Cater didn't know that~ - You decide that a little bit of teasing wouldn't hurt him, so you take a picture of yourself holding a card (a two of diamonds to be exact) in between your lips and a wink to the camera. - An ungodly amount of time was used in making sure that everything was exactly as you wanted it (you really, really hope that Cater never learns about how nervous you were about sending this to him- what if he thinks it's cringey, and doesn't take you seriously after this? This is you trying your hardest to flirt with him, what if he reacts negatively?). But after a while, you shake your head and decide that you were probably just overthinking things, so you take the leap of faith and send it to his private messages (you would probably die if you posted this publicly- you were never too big on posting things online in your own world either, after all).

- Well, Cater was in the middle of finishing up his homework in his room when he got a Magicam notification on his phone. On pure instinct, he pulls it out to go look at what it is, and, while he didn't know what he was expecting, he surely wasn't expecting this. - His face flared up immediately and a little giddy smile erupted on his face when he saw your message. 'Well, that's not technically how hashtags work, but you're just too cute for him to say anything about it,' he thinks, saving the picture to his phone. - He actually debated on whether or not he should make the picture his new wallpaper. Like, if he made it his wallpaper, he could see your face every day, multiple times a day- every time he looks at his phone! Who wouldn't want that? Ah, but then, he really wouldn't be able to get off of his phone, and Professor Trein is already on his case about being on his phone during class. And if he makes you his wallpaper, he wouldn't even be on his Magicam! He honestly could spend hours just looking at your face, and he's certain that he wouldn't be able to resist when he's in the middle of boring classes. So, alas, he came to the conclusion that it was probably not a great idea in the long term to make that photo into his wallpaper.

Sure thing! But be ready to spill the beans on your crush, cuz there's NO WAY I'm gonna be losing to you anytime soon~ #gameon #getreadytolose

-Well, he might be a little scared about the outcome of your little game (what if your crush ends up to be someone that's not him? What if he is the one who has to admit to you that he's been head over heels since you first met?), but that's a problem for another time. If it makes you happy, he'd do whatever it takes. - But for now though, he's happy knowing that you enjoy hanging out with him and now the two of you can chat together whenever you want. This new phone for you was absolutely worth every penny, he thinks.

Still, their fight was another fight that I wanna see animated/manga from, for the sole purpose that it breaks my heart near the end, then fills it with hope again.

This is sum gud material for the fighting club au. I swear this translates amazingly.

Despite what others may say, this wasn't as per see a short update. The previous ones seemed longer bc of the hexagonal maps. Damn those were hell. :'3

But since I speedrun the playthrough, then wait for the translations, I guess I have an upper hand in forming an idea of what happens, then strengthen it later down the line. It took me like 10 mins to finish the whole thing with skipping the story :P.

He himself is pretty physically affectionate, so it works out quite well with the two

Drapes himself over their back when they’re counting how much they earned this week, lays his head on their laps, hangs off their side

Yeah he’s like a kitten that simply won’t let you go, the asshole

It was glaringly obvious that Ace liked to be showered in love, so they did what any mother would do and absolutely smothered him in it

Hugs? Head pats? Getting his cheeks pinched? The worst baby names to ever exist????

Trust, they’ve got it all down

Calls him by their chosen name of Cenuora (means carrot, very affectionate)

He bites.

No, I will not be giving further comments on that.

He struggles a lot in school and getting passing grades, but he does try his best

And they know just how much effort he’s been putting in to get a good mark on his upcoming exam

Their study sessions are… something, that’s for sure :)

So when he came up to them with a hesitation he’s only shown on occasion, slowly handing them his paper with an 85% slapped on it (the highest he’s gotten so far)

They’re overjoyed

They take his face in their hands and give him little bunny kisses

He’s usually there when they get back from work, so he gets dibs to sleep on the couch with them

They’re knocked tf out and he’s having the best time of his life

Grim is obviously gonna kick him in the face but that’s not the main focus

They’re. Large. To say the least. (Taller than Mal if you don’t count his horns)

So he feels a sense of security and overall comfort just being in their arms

He’s a sleep cuddler, ends up with his limbs tangled with theirs

As long as he doesn’t touch their hair in their sleep then they’re not complaining

He gets a lot of comfort kisses, in a way

Like he’s upset about not being a “good honour student” and they smack him upside the head and crush him in a hug

They’re not one for words, so he gets his face and head littered with kisses and his tears gently wiped away

And he’s staying in their embrace for who knows how long till he’s calmed down and ready to talk or just chill, it’s fully up to him what he wants

And if he ever needs help deciding? He’s got a “fuck it” kinda person right there to pick him up (literally) and drag him to their garage to take a ride around town on their bike (I forgot what motorcycles are in twst 💔)
