I am Chinese and I teared up watching tiktoks of British ppl showing off their Chinese food orders. Beige-beige-beige-grey-brown and bright ass red from the sweet and sour sauce are the colours i can describe it as.

Theres a Chinese operator named Zimo in specgru, Imagine the 141 showed him their version of a nice succulent Chinese meal, and they pull up with Char siu that is grey and pink, chicken that has no colour, fried rice that has no veggies or anything in it, 1 large tub of sweet and sour sauce, 1 large tub of Curry sauce, and 1 bag of seasoned chips (called salt and pepper chips i think?)

I think Zimo would actually just combust.

(No offence to brits and y’all’s Chinese food tho, you guys enjoy it and thats all that it matters, but I think my soul dies a little every time I see it…)
