The Smell of Home

Damian had noticed the new student in his school.

Not because he was new or how he looked

no, not any of the usual reasons someone would grab peoples attention.

Weirdly enough it was his scent, which was really weird. He usually didn't take notice of how people smell besides the usual just like anyone else.

But something about the smell that seemed to emanate from this new student who he had learned his name was Danny Fenton, just would not leave his mind.

He knew the smell but couldn't remember from where and it was just at the tip of his tongue, it was driving him crazy.

His family seemed to notice him become more irritable from usual.

But not around Fenton, he seemed to unconsciously calm down in his presence, which just made him suspicious and more irritated.

It wasn't until he woke up from a dream of memories from when he was little and still living with his mom that he realized what he was smelling.

The Lazarus Pits.

He grew up with that smell, it used to hang around the entire area and buildings.

He hadn't realized how long it had been since he had smelled it

He unconsciously related it to the smell of his childhood home.

But why would this random boy give off that very same odor?

Some investigating needed to be done.

Danny had noticed one of his classmates a boy he learned was called Damian seemed to act ...odd?

But only around him it seemed

With everyone else he was normal if a bit cold.

He would seem to relax an then suddenly tense up and send him a suspicious glare.

Also he was pretty sure that the boy seemed to be sniffing him?

Did he smell bad or something?

Why was he the only one who he seemed to act weird with.

Oh God, maybe he thought the smell of ecto was weird?

But that's not something he could control and most people never even seemed to notice the smell of ecto he produced since he became a halfa.

Danny: "What did I do!?"

Batfam notices Damian being extra grouchy :" Ah, he's going through his rebellious phase"

Danny: "Did you just sniff mE!"

Damian: *scoff* "Don't be absurd"

Danny: " Who keeps taking my stuff?!"

Batfam: "Damian we know you're growing and experiencing new things, but stealing the things especially clothes from your crush is crossing boundaries"

Damian: "This is a misunderstanding, I don't have a crush on anyone!"

Bruce: "Son I think it's time I give you 'The Talk TM', I have an entire slideshow and docume-"

Damian: "This family is a nightmare!"

Ecto Dragon Yigzyzysh

The entirely most vacuous entity to ever haunt this mortal coil, the gravity of its vulgar dullness is so vast that merely gazing upon its shambling foolishness can cause breathless anxiety attacks, or worse still, explosive brain aneurisms. It is never malicious in intent, eternally and entirely devoid of purpose or desire. This entity clumsily ambles through the world, a menace to all, completely in a magnanimous stupor. From what afterlife or organism such an affront to reasoning was conceived in, makes on shudder. Its utter vapid sea of stupidity makes deciphering a way of exorcising this witless specter laughable at best. strongly feel this one redrawn in peoples styles would create a ton of strange and funny concepts

well, its spooky month, so figure id do something a LITTLE gory. well, kinda lol

you better not let this post flop or im gonna eat a shoe. and all my shoes are heels, so were REALLY done for if that happens.

to note, yes i have a version of the dress saved without the blood, cus the blood covers most of it here, and hides all the detail i put into it. im planning to do a version of this of a human with none of the blood, as an example for my commission work on kofi, so if you see an image in a very similar pose, theres no copying going on, its me lol!

Glowing Green

Everyone at some point has vaguely heard about the Uranium Fever, how it glowed green which became very popular, many people liked the aesthetic of it.

The people who worked in creating things with uranium were the ones who had the most contact with it and began to show side effects especially when in the beginning when they didn't really know just how bad it was to people.

Now lets switch the uranium to ectoplasm

The Fentons are always wearing those suits to protect themselves from the harm of ecto,

But what about the rest?

Jazz and Danny don't casually wear the suit anytime not even in the basement,

Where they have it everywhere not properly contained

The Portal is there

Always open

Always leaking ecto into their home

The food they grew up eating tend to be on some level always contaminated

They've been ingesting ecto

The only reason Danny survived having the portal open on top of him was because of his life long exposure to it

Nothing Else

Now the portal is new, before that there was only enough ecto to contaminate inside their house

But with the portal open with no precaution to just how much ecto it begins to leak outside of their home into Amity Park

The town begins to glow green

Ecto is not a natural thing on Earth for humans

Humans were never suppose to have been near so much ecto

This has consequences

Amity Park known for being 'The Most Haunted Place in America'

Will truly become a Ghost Town

More headcanon time because I just saw something relating to ecto :p

So ecto. That skin thingy given to skeletons because why not!!! Anyways I produce my uhhh very practical reasons.

1: Comfort. I feel like just having bones isn't the most comfortable especially on hard surfaces so ecto would be a LOT more helpful there so you're not sore after sitting on a chair for more than 3 minutes. I was going to put artists rendition but I'm too lazy.. anyways uh yea so imagine Ink trying to draw on a chair and shifting every 5 seconds because he is in DISCOMFORT!!!

2: Protection. This is easier to understand I think but PROTECTION!!! That's the main reason for skin!! To protect our muscles and bones!!! Give these skeletons some protection!!!!! Plus it makes them look cool in their armor (Swap..!!!)

3: Style. I don't think.. most clothes are are created for just bones.. I mean it can look good but I'm just thinking of one of them looking stupid with a crop top on I'm sorry. So ecto so their clothes fit!! Or don't fit idk how you want to draw these skeletons. Anyways yea the other two before this were more important but this can go here to.

I'm just not the biggest fan of ecto but I like my silly uses for it. Ehe.. also ecto so Cross can get his top surgery.

Anyways silly things for the twins because it's their birthday.

Nightmare can't summon ecto because he's basically a walking corpse in my head so... yea just goop.. I guess he can shape the goop though? The goop is his ecto trust /j

Dream only summons his during battles or training for protection!! I think he's just immune to comfort because SLEEPING UNDER A TREE FOR 6 YEARS AND THEN BEING IN STONE FOR 500-

Ecto Latte

Today I experimented with the next recipe, an ecto late.

In Season 3, Episode 7: Livin’ Large, Danny discovers that the “reality drill” his parents purchased didn’t actually drill into the ghost zone, but it does make a “mean ecto-latte.” I immediately thought matcha latte, for the color, and lime for the ecto flavor.

I used Trader Joe’s instant Matcha Latte powder and a good squeeze of fresh lime juice. I didn’t add any dairy because the lime will curdle the milk.

I would love some input if anyone wanted to try to make this!

Ecto Latte

- Instant Matcha Green Tea Latte

- lime juice, to taste

- boil some tea water and combine the boiled water, lime juice and matcha.

Twyla Cachée (Part 2/2 of the Amber Virus!)

CW: BODY HORROR, also really bad animatic as I had to use my damn finger. So I’ve been holding this one back for a bit. And I will never finish this choppy as animatic lol.

Twyla Cachée is an anomaly originating from the UnderLust Au! She was a very up there performer, usually dancing in highly regarded venues. Along with being allusive, she is rather sly and cunning. She usually catches onto bullshit quickly and will just play along to reveal it at the worst time possible for the other person, so in other words she likes ‘toying’ with manipulative people. However now with the infection she tends to lash out more and becomes spaced out from bright lights (moth much?).

Twyla had broken through into the anti-void by accident one day through a secret rift in an alley way, wandering the anti-void they had found a rift revealing a secluded forest, with a distant ionic featured temple. Slowly wandering towards it from curiosity wandering if it was a sanctum of sorts, given there were creatures running around freely. Entering the temple they had come across Iliad, thinking it was strange at first as she had seemed awfully expectant for a visitor. Giving Twyla a tour through the rather looked after temple, despite the beautiful vegetation blooming in some areas. Seeing the drape over Iliad’s eye sockets they had questioned it only to be responded with that ‘it was part of her culture’ so they didn’t push further, since they didn’t know when or where they were. Yet the more they were around Iliad the more they noticed something was off, still playing along for their safety eventually the sun was starting to set. As Twyla mentioned this to Iliad, she seemed disheartened her overall demeanour dampening. Yet Twyla wanted to confirm one last thing, quickly lifting the drape, revealing her usual face, the sunlight hitting her eye sockets resulting in her infection to go rampant in the moment. Quickly batting Twyla down like a wild animal, getting toyed with like they were nothing. Eventually knocking their soul out, slowly piercing it as Iliad sunk her teeth into the bottom, their soul turning from white to a tainted yellow.

Twyla struggles with the infection at first, often giving them ‘head-splitting’ headaches. Transfiguring their horns into mandibles, and splitting their skull. However, this doesn’t stop Twyla returning to UnderLust, still performing until they were found out. (Animatic) Twyla seems mostly annoyed or stuck to their phone now, hiding in different au’s where they deem suitable for themselves. Twyla’s tail can easily hook and drag things, being surprisingly sturdy, and given their claws are thicker on their hands than their feet they can do a reasonable amount of damage. (Also similar to Iliad, Twyla only walks on the front of their feet, but this is caused from excessive wearing of high heel boots or using their feet to push more.)

how act when triggered + how it’s triggered:

Twyla’s main infection probably has the worst spot, the centre of their rib cage, resulting in the eye at the front. (It remains inside their ecto-body) Twyla will often wear accessories over this area but cannot cover it as not only can they feel it, but they also partially see through it, so the accessories are to not only disguise it, but also to deflect attention. The virus caused their eye-sockets to turn amber colour, the pale yellow ombré seems to faintly resemble their ‘pupils’. Their vision is affected by this, yet compared to Iliad their infection is much more insect like.

To trigger their infection direct prolonged eye contact must be made with the hidden eye in their chest. Resulting in the immediate opening of their skull and neck vertebrae, dropping to all fours, their belly up, as they get ready to snatch you with their mandible horns, which can decapitate. In the neck vertebrae there is a stinger (don’t ask how it fits because I don’t know) this will lodge into the victim, also acting like hook if they are eating, (it looks seriously fucked up when they eat when the virus is triggered.) the teeth along the mouth are retractable to disguise better, also if provoked emotionally the skull will slightly split so the eye inside the skull can see more clearly. A warning sign can usually be Twyla starting to tap their foot, their tail lashes towards itself, or their skull starts to creak. Also for funnies, their eye sockets glow. Twyla cannot handle the cold at all, and has a irrational fear of nutcrackers.
