my review: i have personally used the gc2b binder--i didn't wind up liking it for myself because of the way the compression interacted with my sensory issues (and the heat. omg i was so sweaty in the summer hahaha) but also. i am very sensitive to fabric textures and prefer loose clothing and ngl don't even wear bras at all anymore so it really depends on the interactions between your dysphoria vs your dysmorphia vs your potential sensory objections!
and i'm excited by the new tape product (which btw is $14 per roll at time of posting) so i'm gonna check that out when i can!!!
ps! if you have financial struggles or barriers to gender affirming healthcare that would prescribe a binder for you--there is a donation program with partner organizations in 42 usa states. here's the link! and although this company is based in the usa, they have international partners in many countries!

spoiler: the answer is yes

PSA: list of resources if you are in an immediate mental health crisis (just checked, soz, this list is specific to usa, canada, uk, new zealand)--i will keep looking into more widely-available international resources
edit: this support group available online to ANYONE, ANYWHERE (with the obvs limitation of being hosted in english)

Dear trans and nonbinary youth, With the 2025 inauguration of Donald Trump, our community has witnessed the culmination of a yearslong attack on our truths and our lives. We are forced to reckon with the fact that millions of Americans elected a xenophobic leader with seemingly autocratic ambitions, one who seems hell-bent on making people on the margins disappear. There are many lessons to glean from this political moment, but one stands out: When hate is allowed to stand with inadequate resistance, it festers and grows. I want to apologize to you for all the ways that this country has failed you. Beyond Trump, there are bigoted politicians, billionaires, and public figures who have decided to sell your future away to accrue more capital and power. I also want to validate how you must be feeling. You may be mourning the life you thought you’d be living at this point. You may be fearful about the uncertainty of your future. You aren’t alone. Many of us adults have felt those things too. On election night, after it became clear that the far right would have control of nearly every level of our government, a few friends and I collapsed into the arms of each other. Our shirts were soaked in tears as we tried to brace for the American nightmare heading our way. [...] Long before social media, AI, and reality TV stars-turned-presidents, our transcestors demanded dignity and respect — and they did so with far fewer resources. Despite erasure, many of the original Indigenous peoples of this land never allowed two-spirit and third-gender folks to be discarded. When right-wing politicians ousted government officials who were queer or suspected of being queer during the McCarthy era, our people didn’t disappear. When our people faced police brutality during the Stonewall riots, we came together in solidarity. Meanwhile, figures like Crystal Labeija built the foundation for Ballroom houses and culture, and now its fruits can be witnessed in music, entertainment, movement, and even in the slang that many use. Sir Lady Java picketed anti-crossdressing laws so that she could continue her thriving career as a showgirl. Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera created Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries, or S.T.A.R., and a safe haven to house street kids who’d been discarded. In every era of US history, queer folks have carved out their spaces despite criminalization, discrimination, and violence. We must have faith that we can do it again now. [...] Lean into the fire, fight, and resilience that already lives inside you. I want you to be defiant. If there was ever a time to disobey, this is it. We are a creative, disruptive people who have never accepted silence.
Raquel Willis for Teen Vogue on how trans and nonbinary kids should resist attacks on their very existence (01.27.2025).
Raquel Willis wrote this eloquent piece in Teen Vogue how trans and nonbinary kids should resist attacks on their very existence.

I canon-contradictingly headcanon Sora from 'Kingdom Hearts' (2002) franchise as genderfluid and using he/theirs/her/themself pronouns.
[Image Description: Sora from K.H.1's final scene talking to someone who is off-screen. He's shown from the shoulders upwards, including her covered right shoulder being shown. The background consists of the transgender pride flag on the upper half of the edit, the gender nonbinary pride flag on the edit's lower left quarter from the Viewer's Point Of View, and the genderfluid pride flag on the edit's lower right quarter from the Viewer's PoV.]

Ice cold takes from a Transgender Woman:
Men are not inherently Evil
Everyone has the capacity for evil
Transgender Men are men
Transgender Women are women
Excluding Cisgender Men from your spaces requires Transgender Men to out themselves if they want to engage (Same for Women)
Anyone can be Non-Binary, there is no "look" or requirement
Non-binary masculine presenting people should be welcome in queer spaces, many are just treated as men and predators
Non-binary feminine presenting people should be welcome in queer spaces without being seen as "Woman-Lite"
Edited the wording on the first point because too many terfs keep thinking I'm their friend.

let's hear it for the nonbinary folks who:
don't present androgynously
use "binary" pronouns in any capacity
identify partially with a binary gender
have a "gendered" name
don't experience body dysmorphia
don't experience gender dysphoria
DO experience gender dysphoria/body dysmorphia but aren't sure what gender or body would suit them
just experience body/gender apathy instead
can't be open about their gender identity yet
you're all absolutely valid.
don't ever feel like you're "not nonbinary enough" because you absolutely are! 💖

Reminder that you don't have to call yourself AMAB or AFAB. You don't have to say "I'm AFAB nonbinary." Saying "I'm nonbinary" is enough. You don't need to identify with what you were assigned as by some doctor however many years ago. Mentioning your ASAB is scarcely relevant to most conversations, even those about medical transitioning.
Nonbinary is enough, you don't have to supplement it with a binary system of any kind. It doesn't matter how many people want to know your "transition direction." It doesn't matter how many people want to know what your genitals are (which wouldn't be alluded to by your assigned sex anyway). It doesn't matter how many people want to binarise you. It doesn't matter how many binary people you confuse. No one needs to binarise you. Nonbinary. Is. Enough.
