Types of obnoxious batfam stans
Written by an obnoxious batfam stan
Not really a rant but something I've noticed over the years interacting in different spaces and I've decided to make your problem now.
Please note that I'm not saying there's any "right" way to be a fan because we all suck by virtue of being comic nerds, but there are certain kinds of batfamily fans that stick out to be in particular.
Anywho, here are 12 kinds of annoying batfam stans that you've probably run into and you better get a laugh out of it *points gun to your head*.
1) The Newbies Who Never Heard of Google
There's no shame in being new to something. It's a phase that we're all guaranteed to go through, whether we're 11 or 101. However, in this day and age, so many things can be easily googled that you don't need to shout every question you have into the VVorld VVide VVoid. If you need comic recs or a reading list, google it. If you wanna know a character's origin story, google it. If you need to know the color of Batman's underpants in a particular issue in 1965... well that's probably too specific for Google but Reddit will definitely have an answer.
2) The Middle School Authors
Before the 13-year-olds get up in my notes, I'm not saying everyone that age writes like this. Middle school is a state of mind. These fanfic writers usually stand out in a few ways.
They're oftentimes first-person POV or reader-insert. Give Y/N a break, she's tired.
The grammar is stunningly atrocious. I get if you're inexperienced or if you're writing in a second language, but we are in the prime era of autocorrect. If you need help, it's right there. Also, fuck c*nsoring b*d w*rds and fuck "unalive."
The characters do things that are out-of-character because the author is projecting their own personality. Bruce Wayne is a lot of things but he does not listen to the fucking Mountain Goats.
There's a lack of experience or research when it comes to certain topics. That's not how physics works. He can't walk that injury off. And that's definitely NOT how you do the horizontal hokey pokey.
3) The Neckbeards
Unfortunately, these basement-dwelling mouth-breathers tainted the image of what a comic fan is, though that's been changing recently. Still, we've all seen them. They gatekeep via pop quizzes, 'cause obviously you're not a real fan unless you know what page 10 of Batman #138 smells like. They give unsolicited commentary on people's cosplays, nitpicking the guys and being gross toward women. And heaven forbid the comics add a little diversity.
4) The Moviegoers
Nothing inherently wrong with getting into the fandom via the movies, nor is there anything wrong with sticking to that. I just feel like we're two different species of Galapagos finches, you know?
5) The Christopher Nolans
Separate from casual fans of the Nolan movies. I'm calling them the Christopher Nolans because these people have a tendency to reach for the grimdarkest thing possible. It's like they cannot fathom Batman having any other emotions besides punching and gargoyle brooding.
6) The Canon Purists
Wanna share a fun headcanon? NO, because Stephanie Brown never used cherry lip balm in the comics so therefore that must be the absolute truth. These people are a stickler for comic accuracy to the point where it's like... why bother interacting with the fandom in the first place? The worst part is when they're adamant on following a single continuity and refuse to consider anything else. This is comics we're talking about. Everything either has been or will be canon at some point.
7) The Fanon Worshippers
On the opposite end of the spectrum, we have the people who base their entire perception of the characters on something either they pulled out of their ass or that their mutual with 16 followers came up with, despite evidence directly contradicting it. I love WFA, but I feel like that's partially responsible for further perpetuating certain popular myths. Also, these fans tend to focus solely on the batfam/their ships. It's one thing to have some people in the foreground vs. background, but put some respect to Bart Allen's name you goddamn cheesecakes.
8) The Golden Age Dads
These guys aren't really obnoxious. I actually find it kind of cute how they think Jason Todd is still dead.
9) The Chronically Online
I have a rule of thumb when it comes to discourse: if it's not something I'd hear about at a bar, it's not worth my mental energy. Some people haven't gotten the memo, though.
These are either the well-intentioned but misinformed teenagers or grown-ass adults beefing with children because they don't have a life. They have takes that are oversimplified, rage-inducing, TikTok algorithm attention-grabbers that no one cares about in real life.
Don't get me wrong, we've got a bunch of issues in comics and fandom that are worth discussing. However, there comes a point where you're splitting hairs and need to go the fuck outside. I'm not gonna link the post 'cause I don't wanna call them and their 7 notes out, but the other week I saw someone saying Stephcass was a racist ship because something something colonialism parallel. You gotta be Elastigirl to have that kind of reach.
10) The Corporate Simps
I love comics. I appreciate the writers and artists. However, you will find my carcass in a ditch before you catch me licking the boots of DC/Warner Bros. Basically, these fans, fewer as they are, can't seem to fathom that their favorite franchise can (and does) put out some steaming motherfucking garbage.
11) The Hot Cosplayers
Not actually annoyed, I'm just a little jealous. Stop being hotter than me, please and thank you.
12) The One With A Punchline For Everything

clingy // wonwoo drabble
Tumblr media Tumblr media
wonwoo brainrot is so bad so here is a quick establishedrelationship!wonwoo drabble that i had stored in my drafts.
Tumblr media
Mixing business with pleasure seemed like a dangerous territory to tread when you had originally started working for them – it was something you didn't dare to even think of.
Despite the fact that you saw the group of thirteen men more than you did your family.
It came with the job – following them around all around the globe. It was bound to happen.
You were adamant that you would never cross any professional boundaries – but of course, this didn't last long. All because of the stupid jokes he told, his annoying need to pester you as you tried to style his or another member's hair, and most importantly – that stupid gorgeous face of his.
It took him only a year to make a crack in that glass wall you had chosen to surround your heart with; promising you that you would not regret the decision of letting him in.
And he was right.... unfortunately.
Three years and the two of you were still going strong; never leaving the honeymoon phase.
If anything, the two of you seemed to act sweeter than before – as if you two were young high school lovers.
It was sickening.
Humming as you pinched pieces of his hairs together with gel, Wonwoo kept his head down – eyes remaining trained on the phone in his hand. It had been a habit of his to watch his favorite streamer's recent videos as a form to calm his nerves before the stage.
As you took a step closer to him, you felt the arm that had once been hanging at his side snake loosely around your hips; using his index finger to hook onto your belt loop as the others drummed lightly at your hip.
"Gross." Seungcheol stuck his tongue out as he took a seat at the open chair to Wonwoo's right – waiting for his turn.
"Hater." You snickered, knowing that the older boy was simply teasing at the sight of you and Wonwoo's casual display of affection.
Wonwoo always needed to be touching you; his limbs always finding a way to somehow wrap around you – even if it was a finger linking with yours or his hand resting on your shoulder as the two of you walked.
He just needed to feel the heat of your body on his.
"I'm done." You gave your boyfriend's shoulder a light pat, signaling him to free you from his hold.
Looking up from his phone for the first time since taking a seat in front of the mirror, Wonwoo looked up at you with a soft smile. "Thank you." He gave your hip one last squeeze before unravelling himself – allowing for you to walk over to the other side of his chair.
Just as you reached for the hairspray on the vanity, you felt yourself being held back – turning to see that your boyfriend had once again found a way to hook himself onto you.
"Won." You warned.
"Hm?" He hummed, not bothering to look up.
"Let go, dude." Seungcheol chuckled, also taking notice of his friend's finger that had been hooked onto your belt loop – restricting your movements.
Wonwoo brought his arm back to his side with a slight frown.
You couldn't help but let out a small laugh at your boyfriend's actions – he always had been the clingier one.
"You act like you're not with her 24/7."
"I'm not." He countered. "I have at least eight hours out of the twenty-four with you guys. So that makes it 16/7."
He was also the sassier one.
"That was so corny." Seungcheol snorted.
"I'm just stating facts." Wonwoo shrugged, standing up from his seat. "Gonna go to the waiting room."
You simply nodded at him, leaning your body slightly to allow him to place a quick kiss on your temple.
"I love you."
"Ditto."
Unimpressed by your reply, Wonwoo stood his ground. "Say it back."
Keeping your focus on styling the red hair inf ront of you, you replied. "It back."
"Y/n."
Pet names weren't your thing.
"Oh my god please just tell him you love him before he throws a tantrum." Seungcheol was watching Wonwoo in the mirror.
"I love you too, now go." You laughed, nodding to the door.
The pout on his lips instantly switched to a smile, stealing a kiss before scurrying out with a devious chuckle – he had gotten the reaction he wanted.
"Don't look at me like that." You rolled your eyes at the boy.
"You need to tell me the recipe of that love potion you slipped into his drink."
"It's a family secret, sorry."

I'm officially in love with Dorian, could you please do another chapter? Maybe reader is willing to be kidnapped? I'll leave it up to you <3
Me too<3 but to be honest I think everyone who reads yandere fiction wants to be kidnapped too😅
Yandere pretty boy
Your new life
TW : yandere stuff, kidnapped reader, Dorian is interesting…
P.2 / let me know if you want more
Your new life was more than interesting, but a welcomed suprise nonetheless.
To be honest you always hoped this would happen. School was shit, it always was. The people were fake, the teachers annoying and the grades not so great.
The best thing that happened in school was meeting Dorian, he was so nice and pretty. So spending every day in his mansion with him was great. He even gave you a new phone which you could use when he supervised.
Being kidnapped was only bad for a short time. Maybe faking your death was a bit of a overkill on Dorians part, but when you realized that your parents didn’t care you gave in.
So now you had private cooks, maids and every other thing you always expected from rich people. Sometimes it was even kinda cliche how often Dorian called for a maid, but that’s just how he grew up.
You also didn’t have to go through any punishments you heard of in other yandere stories cause you loved your new life. And thanks to that you’re and Dorians relationship was still going strong.
You two woke up togheter and you helped him getting ready for school. Then you two would eat breakfast with each other and say goodbye to each other. And then you were without Dorian for the next eight hours.
His father would also leave with him, going to work. You realized that Dorians obsessive personality came from his father, who acted with his wife the same way Dorian acted with you. But Roger was a very nice after he warmed up to you.
And when both left the house you were left with his mother.
You new best friend.
Charlotte was the nicest woman you ever met and also by far the prettiest. Even though she was 38 she looked like she was at most in her late twenties. And her youthfulness was complemented be her naive personality.
As you learned over the first month Charlotte was kidnapped by roger at only 16 years. It was love at first sight for him. He realized she was too pure for the world and would not survive on her own (his words). So he „rescued“ her and gave her the best life. And now they had a happy family with the newest addition being you.
Maybe a few rookier parts of the story where being brushed over by everyone, but hey in the end everything was fine … right?
What would your next step be, my love?
Btw a part about Charlotte and rogers past where wasn’t as obedient as reader kn the beginning ? Let me know if you want that <3
🩵Please let me know if you enjoyed it especially the person who asked, i love taking requests 🩵

with me + part eight
Tumblr media
authors note: wow, you guys just keep on amazing me. all of the kind comments really do make my day, you have no idea. the beginning of this one is heavy, but i'm gradually working towards exposing more of reader and joe's backstories!!!
song inspo: with me by destiny's child
status: in progress // masterlist
warnings: angst (parental neglect, abandonment) language, suggestive themes
words: 6k

“It’s been almost a year, babe.” His tone is the perfect combination of understanding yet frustrated, like he’s trying his best to be patient but his needs are getting the best of him. “You still not ready?”
You wanted someone to talk to for the drive, even if it was only an hour, but at this moment, you’re regretting choosing your boyfriend.
“I just….I want to be really sure, okay?”
This has been the latest conversation between the two of you, more a point of contention. You care about Amir, you love him, but there’s something about letting him take your virginity you’re still a bit unsure about. Maybe it’s the fact that you just turned 16 three months ago and still feel like you’re a bit on the young side to take that next step. Or maybe it’s the fact that you guys have been rocky, almost since the beginning, having your fair share of arguments, even makeups and breakups.
But, you also know that even with the ups and downs, a year deep for a high school relationship is almost unheard of. That has to mean something.
“I love you, and you love me, right?”
You check the rearview mirror and switch lanes. “Of course.”
“So let’s seal the deal.”
A glance at the navigation makes you aware that you’re roughly ten minutes away from your destination. Instantly, your stomach begins to twist and knot. And like many with anxiety, it comes out as anger.
“Look, can you please just stop pressuring me?” You snap. “I feel like that’s all you ever want to talk about.”
“Whoa, whoa, where’s all this attitude coming from?” He, understandably, becomes defensive. A small part of you feels bad, taking your nerves out on him, even if it’s not entirely undeserved. It has become an annoying, frequent hot topic. “Am I wrong for wanting to be close to my girlfriend?”
“Bullshit. You just want to get your dick wet.”
“If that was the case, I wouldn’t be asking you,” he retorts, arrogantly. “I can get pussy anywhere.”
That’s the wrong thing to say, obviously, because you angrily fire back, “fine, then go do that and leave me and my pussy alone!”
He sucks his teeth on the other side. “I’ll talk to you when you not in one of your bitch moods. Must be on your period or something.”
“Fuck you, Amir.”
The phone disconnects.
He hung up.
Frustrated, for a lot of reasons, you squeeze the steering wheel and curse, loudly. This isn’t what you needed. You’re regretting not calling Mariah instead. You’re starting to regret this decision altogether but work to remind yourself why you’re doing it, why you want to do it. Amir and his shit be damned. He’ll always be there, and you’ll figure the shit out, like you always do.
Right now though, you need to focus on yourself and your plan.
So, you spend the rest of your time driving by feeding positive mantras into yourself in an attempt to bleed out the negativity.
It’s especially needed when you finally arrive at your destination, parking your car as far back in the parking lot as you can. You blow out a big, deep breath, keeping your hands on the steering wheel as it really sets in that you’re doing this, finally doing something you’ve wanted since you got your license but have been too scared to follow through on.
It’s going to be a daunting task no matter what, but it’s what you want, and you’ve come too far to back out now.
Shaky hands reach to pull down the sun visor so you can use the mirror to assess your makeup and hair. You’d saved up your paychecks to afford this 14k gold necklace the local jeweler had gotten in stock and kindly agreed to hold until you could afford it. You just wanted to look your best.
You needed to look your best.
Blowing out another breath, you reach to spray another layer of your trial size perfume. It was some expensive ass designer fragrance that smelled sinfully sweet, but the trial one was all you could afford.
Climbing out of the car with your best bag, you make sure to lock the door and start heading toward the entrance, offering a few small smiles to the cops you pass by.
Stepping into the precent, you march right up to the front desk with your head held high.
“Hi,” you breathe, pasting on that rehearsed smile. “I—umm, is Captain Wilson available?”
“Uhhhh.” She stands up and looks back, most likely where his office is. “I believe so, can I ask what this is in regards to?”
Crap. You hadn’t thought about what to say, how to explain how you knew him. Quickly, you settle on, “old family friend.”
She assesses you, probably wondering why their police captain is family friends with a high schooler.
Thankfully, she nods and moves from behind the desk to escort you. “Follow me.”
You’re briefly relieved that the first part is done, far from the hardest but necessary for you to actually get to the hard part.
She knocks on the open door. “Captain?”
He looks up, and your stomach drops.
Years.
It’s been years since you’ve seen him, been this close in proximity. He’s older, obviously, but still very similar to how you remembered him all those years ago. He looks at you for a second, clearly confused and then at the woman.
“She said she’s a family friend.”
Nervous that this will mess up your plan, you interrupt, “I—I need to speak with you, please.”
The woman turns to you. “I thought you said—”
He lifts his hand, standing up. “It’s fine, Yang.” He motions to the door. “Leave us.”
You can feel her distasteful expression on you, but she follows his command, closing the door behind you.
“Well, how can I help you, young lady?”
It's such a loaded question, but you came prepared, ready to jump right to the point. Don't want to waste any time.
"I, well, I'm—" Chuckling, you reach into your bag and pull out the old picture of your mom you kept in your locker. Opening and showing it to him, you watch his entire facial expression shift from friendly to shocked. "I'm your—"
“What are you doing here?” There’s a sudden change in his tone, even in his body posture, less friendly, more hostile. Clearly, he recognizes you.
“I—” The answer is simple yet difficult to get out, but you manage. “I wanted to meet my father.”
He suddenly asks, accusingly. “Did your mother put you up to this?”
“What?” Frowning, you explain, “no, no, she—she doesn’t even know I’m here. No one does.”
“Good,” he mutters. “Listen—”
“I’m 16 now,” you interject, suddenly remembering the list of things you wanted to share with him, wanted him to know about you. “And I’m—I’m captain of my school’s cheerleading squad. Took my team to state last year. I’ve had a couple of scouts from colleges reach out already.”
“Listen—”
“And I just got my SAT scores back. I got a 1400. A 32 on my ACT. That puts me in the top 10% of the nation for both of them.”
“Is there a reason you’re telling me all of this?”
“I thought—” This is going the complete opposite of how you planned, how you hoped. You expected him to be confused and surprised, but you didn’t expect this level of disinterest and aggravation. Like you’re annoying him. Like you’re bothering him. “I thought if—if you saw me, if you met me and see I’m not a bad kid that—that maybe you’d want a relationship with me.”
“A relationship?” He scoffs, actually fucking scoffs. “Why would I want a relationship with you? You’re not even supposed to exist.”
Of all the things to say—cruel, hurtful, mean—you’re not sure just what to label this. Because it’s almost inconceivable to you that he could say such a thing while looking directly at you, as if you’re not his blood. As if you’re not his daughter.
“I—” Any hope or confidence you had is all but squashed underneath the weight of his cruelty. “I’m your daughter.”
“No, you are a mistake that I paid your mother to take care of.” He turns away, one hand on his hip, the other running his hand over his face. “Biggest waste of money I ever spent.”
Devastated. It’s the closest word you can use to describe what you’re feeling right now, all over, in every crevice of your body. You never knew a person could feel so much pain at one time.
That a heart could feel so heavy.
“How—”
“Honey—”
Turning your head, you see a woman dressed in fine clothes, adorned in real, 14k or more jewelry, and a smile that doesn’t meet her eyes when she sees the Captain isn’t alone. “I’m sorry, am I interrupting something?”
You’re unsure how to answer, especially when you notice the big rock on her finger. It doesn’t take much to realize this must be his wife. The same woman he cheated on with your mother and unintentionally created you.
“Not at all,” he answers with a chuckle. You watch with a twisted stomach as she walks over to him, kissing his cheek. He smiles at her with such adoration, such happiness, a complete contrast with the disgust and disdain he sent your way. “I was just telling this young lady there’s nothing we can do for her.”
Young lady. That’s all you are to him, and it was stupid of you to trick yourself into believing otherwise. If he could go sixteen years without once asking or inquiring about you, he could go another sixteen. Another 100. You weren’t a part of his world, didn’t exist there, and you never would.
“Dad, Elijah won’t get out of the car. I swear, you should have kept me an only—” Another person enters the room and also stops mid-sentence. “---child.” An identical set of brown eyes land on you, eyes that he has, that you have. The similarities don’t stop there. Nose, lips, even bone structure to some extent, age. “Oh, my bad. Dad, who’s—”
You never give her the chance to finish or yourself the chance to hear the rest of her question. Rushing past her as well as the other cops in the precinct who surprisingly don’t try to stop you, you don’t allow your feet to rest until you’re in the safety of your car.
And that’s when it finally comes out.
The guttural, vulnerable scream that you’ve been holding in. You beat at the steering wheel, narrowly avoiding the horn. You beat at that thing until your wrist aches and fist grows tired. Nearly hyperventilating, the sob erupts from your throat, almost your entire body shaking from the intensity. You’ve never felt so awful in your life, so empty, so unwanted and unloved.
It’s the kind of pain that’s so visceral you can only understand if you’ve felt it, and no one deserves to feel this.
Stupid.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.
You feel it, and more, for bringing yourself down here and making a fool of yourself.
A family.
He has a whole family. He already has children, has a daughter who’s close in age. A daughter he loves and whose life he wants to be involved in.
And it’s not you.
It’s never been you, and it’ll never be you.
Finally, you understand why your mom always shot down or redirected any attempt you made to ask about your dad. It was for this reason. This is what she was trying to protect you from, and you idiotically ran right into the line of fire.
Immensely grateful you had the wherewithal to park as far back as you could, you sit there for who knows how long, screaming, crying, heartbroken, avoiding what’s sure to be the longest drive home of your life.
There’s such an intolerable level of discomfort at this, this pain, this hurt. You don’t want to feel it, don’t want to sit in it. You can’t. You’re not sure if you can continue to function in this state.
You need a distraction.
And you have the perfect one. Whatever development has occurred in the prefrontal cortex is nonexistent and inactive as you dig in your purse for your phone.
With shaky fingers, you send him a simple text, knowing he’ll know exactly what you mean.
Tonight. Let’s do it tonight.
________
Three days after her emergency surgery, Calista was officially discharged from the hospital, allowing her to be home with you just in time for Thanksgiving. Not that that ended up being anything to write home about. You opted to stay home with her, aiding in her recovery as your mom came over to drop off some food and assist in nursing your sweet little girl back to health.
It was much appreciated, especially as Joe had to leave the day before she was released, much to his and Callie’s chagrin. She loved the company of you, even your mom, but she especially loved being around and with Joe.
Not that he was any different. You could see how much it killed him to have to leave her when she was still admitted in a hospital, so you had to continue to remind him that the hardest part was over. Ironic considering how grounded he kept you in that terrifying experience.
Joe’s promise of returning for Christmas was the only thing that kept Callie slightly less disappointed. She loves Christmas, and him being there for her favorite holiday will definitely mean a lot to her. You know she just hates having to wait so long to see him again. It’s safe to say she’s pretty attached to him, which warms your heart and makes you even more eager for her to finally realize that Joe is not just Joe.
He’s her dad.
And speaking of daddy, your dynamic with Joe has been both different yet the same. There’s always been this chemistry between you two, but it seems him finally admitting he wants to be with you and your finally acknowledging that it's something you’re willing to consider has given him privilege to up the ante.
He’s always been forward with you, but it’s been subtle, if at all present, since his return.
That's no longer the case.
He makes his comments and innuendos, always appropriate and respectful enough to not warrant pushback. But, it’s still there.
And you like it, way more than you should for someone who doesn’t even know how she feels about any of this to begin with.
“I have an idea.”
Th comment comes from the very person who you summoned to help with said ambivalence chimes with that mischievous smile that almost got you both kicked out of school at least two times.
Alexis Palmer stands on the opposite side of the kitchen, a bottle of vodka in one hand and another unidentified alcoholic beverage in the other. To say you summoned her may be a bit of an exaggeration. You emailed her, yes, but you didn’t except her to actually fly across the world to come visit you. Apparently, she was in Norway when she received your email.
“You couldn’t not expect me to come. You sent out the bestie bat signal!”
The first time you met Alexis, you hated her. She was your assigned roommate who you had the displeasure of meeting during move in week. A large part of your disdain for her was because she represented everything you’d always found utterly annoying: rich, entitled, privileged.
You’d quickly find out that was only partially true. Yes, Alexis came from money, but that was essentially all she came from. You’ll never forget the time you two were actually having a decent conversation and she casually mentioned that neither of her parents had ever told her happy birthday before. Ever.
Even your mom, though not having much, made sure to make the most of all of your special days.
That was the first day you started to see our roommate in a different light, and now, over ten years later, you consider her a best friend. If Alexis didn’t spend her life randomly traveling to various parts of the world, living comfortably off her trust fund money, you’d absolutely be much closer.
But until, or if, she gets tired of always being on the go, you settle for email updates and countless snapchat messages because WIFI is a wonderfully universal thing when compared to international texting and call fees.
Alexis's partially drunk ass skips out of the kitchen, clearly going to retrieve something as you take a moment to check your phone. It took a moderate level of convincing for you to agree to Callie spending a day or two with your mom, not that you didn’t believe she wouldn’t be in the best care. It was just some lingering anxiety from your baby being hospitalized, that mother’s fear of something happening in your absence and you not being there to comfort her.
But, your mom brought up a valid point, that you’d spend almost nonstop time with Callie since her discharge, and that was fine. You loved spending time with you little girl, but you also needed some time for yourself. Some adult interaction, and Alexis' surprise visit created the perfect opportunity.
So, that brings you to your current scenario, having an in-house girl night with your college roommate, drinking wine (harder liquor for her) and figuring out just what the fuck you’re doing with your non-existent love life.
When Alexis turns with one of your poster boards, you protest, “Lex, those are for my students.”
She gives you the most disgusted look. “Girl, fuck them kids. If it’s not my sweet Cal Gal, I don’t care.”
Knowing good and well this is a losing battle, you let it go and watch as she lays the poster board on the kitchen island and pulls out a sharpie.
“What are you—”
She lifts a finger, silencing you as she continues to write. Shaking your head, you take another sip of your wine.
Alexis is done in a matter of a few minutes and finally prompts you to look. “Okay, all done.”
It’s in reading what she’s created that you nearly drop your wine glass. “Lex, what is this?”
She rolls her eyes, pointing with the sharpie to the title. “Obviously, it’s the ‘figure out who I should be with’ chart. Created by yours truly!”
You blink a couple times. “Alexis, why is Kai’s name up here? He was a high school hookup.”
“Yes, but still a hookup nonetheless, so he makes the cut.” Lord as much as you missed Alexis, you’d almost forgotten how draining her eccentric ways can be. “Now, as you can see, each option has a pros and cons column. I say we start with the pros, and I’ll even help you out.”
“Should I be scared?”
She pauses. “Maybe.”
Shaking your head, you wait for her to quickly jot down whatever she objectively believes is considered a pro. But, when she turns the poster around, you actually laugh. “Oh my god.”
She’s written only in Joe’s pro column, but it’s more what she has written that has you humored.
“Obviously, at number one, we have 'big dick' because that's the most important thing in life. Never commit to a micro-penis.”
Ignoring the latter part of her statement, you ask, “big dick? Really?”
“Is it a lie?” She challenges. You open your mouth and immediately close it, taking another sip of wine. “I rest my case.” Yeah, you definitely can’t fight that one. “Wait, is he the one you tried anal with that one time?”
You nearly spit out your wine, for a couple of reasons. You'd never really considered yourself a feminist, but you were definitely someone who believed in women being free sexual beings. You never subscribed to that modesty bullshit. Sex was fun to you, and you liked it. You definitely considered yourself more on the freaky side. Outside of the really weird shit and threesomes, you were down to try whatever. Especially with Joe. Well, except for that. “Absolutely not. He’s too big. That shit already hurts, hence why it was one and done.”
Confused, she asks. “Who was it then?”
“Amir,” you answer, casually. Alexis, being Alexis, was pretty much the same as you when it came to embracing sexuality, hence speaking so openly about your sex lives.
She turns up her nose. “Yuck. Okay, back to Big Dick Joe.” After over 10+ years of friendship, you’ve learned, to some extent, certain things Alexis says just have to be chalked up to being a part of who she is. Like this entire activity that you’re for some reason entertaining. “Now get back to naming!”
You shrug, thinking about it, even if there’s not much to think about. “I mean, we have a child together already.”
“Oh damn, forgot about that,” she mutters and quickly adds Callie to the list of pros. “Sorry, Cal.”
This isn’t necessarily a difficult task. You’re pretty sure you could talk for 30 minutes straight about all of the reasons you like Joe. “He’s kind, smart, easy to talk to, an amazing dad to Callie.”
She downs the last of her concoction before shouting out, “oooh, don’t forget rich!”
Your eyes lift to the ceiling as you shrug, genuinely uninterested. “You know I don’t care about that.”
“You will when it’s time for Callie to go to college,” she ‘sings’, adding it to the board. “Fine as fuck,” Alexis talks aloud while writing the same thing. “Like very fine. As in you should have asked if his wife could fight fine because the way I never would have asked that man to leave—”
“Alexis.”
“Sorry.” She’s really not. “Why don’t we switch gears? How about we do the pros for Amir? Or even Kai?” You open your mouth to respond when she cuts you off. “Couldn’t think of any? Me neither. Back to Joe, it is.”
You run your hand against the side of your face, elbow on the section of the island that’s not occupied by the poster board. “Seriously, Alexis. There’s nothing there for Kai. At all. Hell, Amir neither.”
It’s like a light goes off, like all of her efforts have finally proved fruitful. The entirety of her eccentricity minimizes to something calm and considerate. “Exactly.” Laying down the poster, she comes and sits in the bar seat next to you. “You don’t like Amir. You definitely don’t like Kai. But, you do like Joe. Maybe more, though I’m not sure you’re ready to actually admit that out loud.” Much like a lot of what she says, though usually cloaked underneath her quirkiness, she’s correct. “So, what’s the real issue, roomie? It was his wife before, which I totally understood. You’re a moral person and shit. But now? He’s divorced, Y/N. You two have a child you’re trying to raise together. What’s holding you back?”
It’s a very, very valid question that you have no idea how to answer. You’ve tried, to some extent, to explore what your hesitations are. It hasn’t been high on the priority list due to your being focused on nursing Callie back to health, but as she’s on the mend to a full recovery, if not already at the eve of one, you know you’re gonna have to figure this shit out. Preferably sooner than later.
Joe will respect your need for time and space, but you also know he can be a persistent bastard, especially when it’s something or someone he wants.
It’s how ya’ll even got together in the first place.
“I’m gonna say something, and I don’t want you to bite my head off. Just hear me out. Let me put this expensive ass psych degree to use.” That makes you chuckle, but you remain quiet, allowing her to continue. “I think….I think whatever the situation is with your dad might be at play here.” Instantly, you're stiff, any hint of a smile or humor gone. “I don’t know exactly what happened outside of the fact that he’s not in your life, but something tells me there’s something there that you need to face.” And if she wasn’t already hitting you where it hurts, she adds on, “and I think it had something to do with why you didn’t tell Joe about Callie from the very beginning.”
Alexis has always had this uncanny ability to make you wonder if there’s something possibly mentally wrong with her and in the same breath wonder why the hell she didn’t decide to pursue a higher degree in psychology because of her sage wisdom.
This is one of those moments.
You know there’s some element of truth to what she’s saying, some layers behind events you’d pushed so far back in your head, you tried to convince yourself they didn’t still impact you.
But opening that box…..it’s hard for you to justify doing so. To understand why you need to revisit such uncomfortable, painful memories. You’re gonna be 32 years old next year. You’re too damn old to still be dealing with daddy issues.
Reaching for the bottle of wine, you pour some into your glass, noticeably more than the first one. “Maybe.”
Alexis also knows you well enough to know that a dismissal was bound to be your approach to such a heavy topic. “Is that the sign to change subjects, even though that’s literally why you asked me to come?"
“Technically, you invited yourself.”
“Bullshit,” she snorts. “You send that wild ass email and expect me to not book it back here to make sure my favorite twerk partner isn’t Gucci?” She suddenly asks, “wait, do people still say that?”
“Probably not. We’re old and outdated now.”
“Speak for yourself, I had a 24 year old Frenchman eat me out last month, and it was C'est Magnifique,” she sighs, clearly reminiscing as you turn up your nose.
“Too young for me, girl.” Younger men have never done anything for you, even Amri, who was a grade above you, felt too close in age.
“That’s right,” she nods, and you just know there’s something on the tip of her tongue. “You like em’ older. Samoan, tatted, with massive arms and big dicks.”
“Alexis.” You have to laugh, leaning into her side and laying your head on her shoulder. “I’ve missed you, girl.” You needed this, the time and space to be silly, to have difficult yet important conversations, to both think and not think. Alexis has always been that really great space for you, Mariah for even longer, but given your last interactions with her, you realize she’s not exactly the best candidate at the moment.
And as if reading your mind, she asks, “how’s ole girl doing?”
Ole girl aka Mariah.
The relationship between Mariah and Alexis……well, there is none. Put simply, they hate each other. More hate on Alexis' part, Mariah has just always kinda ignored Alexis and her role in your life, which is significantly easier considering Alexis is always on the move. The reason for the dislike and incompatibility between the two of them will always be a mystery.
“It’s just something about that girl.”
That’s what she would always say, and it once reached the point where you and Alexis stopped speaking for a couple of weeks, because you were a lot of things, loyal at the top of that list.
Outside of the whole situation with Joe….you still don’t know what exactly happened there.
Nonetheless, it just became agreed upon that talking with one woman about the other would be kept to a minimum, preferably none.
You know Alexis is just trying to be nice by asking. She doesn’t really care.
“I don’t know,” you answer, honestly. “She’s been….I think she’s just going through something.”
She rolls her eyes, clearly unsurprised. “I’m sure she is.”
You sigh. “Alexis.”
“I know you don’t like it when I talk about her cause that’s your other ‘best friend,’ but I’m telling you, Y/N, that girl is not your friend. She’s jealous of you. She been jealous of you,” she blurts out, as if keeping it in any longer would be painful. “But, imma be quiet.”
And she does which you’re grateful for, even if her words are, for the first time, starting to trigger some unfamiliar thoughts. Alexis, Kai, your own experiences. You’ve always leaned on the side of where there’s smoke, there’s fire, and Mariah’s forest is ablaze.
You just have to figure out how to approach all of this.
Among the other 50 fucking things you have to figure out.
_______
You can’t remember the last time you propped up your phone to call Joe for any reason other than Callie wanting to see or speak to him.
And yet, here you are, in your bathroom, preparing for your nightly routine, doing just that.
He answers on the third ring, eyes lighting up with surprise when he sees it’s you and not Callie. “Hey.”
“Hi.” Your tone is much too cheery for your taste, so you attempt to roll it back. “Is, uhh, is this a bad time?”
“Never a bad time for you,” he replies, smoothly. Looking into the screen, you realize he’s sitting up in bed, one arm behind his head. “What’s up? I thought you were having a girls night with Alexis.”
“We were. Well, we did, but she’s white girl wasted, passed out in my bed right now,” you answer, peeking through your ajar bathroom door to make sure she didn’t wander off somewhere. She was always that mobile drunk friend who had to be carefully monitored or else she’d end up on a local new station. “You talk to Callie?”
He nods as you grab your face wash and dispense some into your hand to lather. “Yeah, earlier. She seems to be having a good time with your mom.”
“She usually does, cause like you, my mom never tells her no.” You’ve always allowed that space for your mom to have her own relationship with Callie, one that you have no interference with. Similar to how it was for you with your grandma. But now with Joe being in the picture too, you foresee having to be that parent that actually tells their kid no.
Cause Lord knows Joe ain’t shaping up to be the one.
“She doesn’t do anything for us to have to tell her no.”
You pause in the midst of scrubbing your face. “God, I can’t wait for you to finally experience one of her tantrums. Next time you come, I’m gonna keep her up so you can see how she gets when she’s tired.” Joe has been blessed to really only experience happy Callie, even, unfortunately, sad Callie, but he’s yet to see your little girl when she’s angry.
“Don't do that to her.” He immediately grows defensive, and you giggle. “She’s a good kid.”
“She is,” you agree, rinsing your face and adding, “but all kids have moments, Joe. I would know, I work with them.”
“Well, you—”
“He don’t wanna be saved, don’t save him!”
You’re in the midst of drying your face when Alexis’s drunk, random ass comes stumbling by the door. “Alexis, what the hell are you doing up?”
Your words clearly trigger something with her wasted ass, cause in a matter of seconds, she’s crying. “My name is Alexis, but I’m not from Texas,” she begins to cry profusely at the word ‘Texas’, and it takes everything in you not to fall out laughing. You haven’t seen her this wasted since your junior year of college.
Hand on her back moving in circles, you soothe, “it’s okay, sweetie. You’re way better than her anyway.”
“Are you sure?” She asks, all soft and innocent, the complete opposite of the porn star she’s crying over not being.
“Of course.” You place your arms around her and mouth to Joe you’ll be right back. “Now, let's get you back to bed.”
“Are we gonna fuck?”
“No, Lex, you’re gonna sleep, and I’m going to finish talking to Joe.”
“Oh.” Her disappointment is hilarious as she yells out, much louder than necessary. “Bye, Joe!”
“Girl, you are gonna get me evicted,” you scold with a small laugh, guiding her into your bed and under the blankets. “Now, you sleep this off, and I’ll roast you in the morning over your antics. Deal?”
Alexis is so drunk, she couldn’t consent to breathing right now, but she does manage to give you a crooked thumbs up. “Deal.”
Stepping back into the bathroom, you give Joe a look and shake your head as he asks, “Damn. How much did ya’ll drink?”
“You mean how much did she drink?” You correct him. He knows good and well that’s not your thing. Never was. You didn’t need alcohol to have a good time. You could shake your ass on any table just fine, good and sober. “A lot. I just had two glasses of wine.” Suddenly remember something, you start speaking again, eager for his perspective on an idea that crossed your mind the other day.
“I think we should—”
“Go out with me.”
You both speak at the same time, but his statement obviously gives you pause. You stare at him, momentarily confused and ask, “what?”
He repeats himself, just as confident the first time around. “Go on a date with me.”
For a second, you think he’s joking, think he’s playing with you for some reason, but one look at his expression, and you know he’s being for real. You’re not sure how to respond, asking again, “like an actual date? A real date?”
“No, like a fake date.” He rolls his eyes, and you resist flipping him off. “Yes, an actual date.”
Still confused, you ask in a quieter voice, “why?”
His answer is surprisingly simple and unsurprisingly genuine. “Because I’ve never actually taken you out, and I want to. You deserve that much.”
This has been such a wild ass day. Hell, ever since Joe reentered your life, things have been wild. For the majority, if not entirety, of your relationship, you spent most of your time with this man holed up in your apartment and hotel rooms. Now he’s asking to take you out on a proper date.
What a 180.
It’s like he can see the wheels turning in your head and reassures, still with all the boldness. “We can take this as slow as you want, but you should know I’m heading in one direction and one direction only.”
Fuck. There’s nothing unclear about that, but it’s not surprising. He’s made it clear what he wants from you. He’s just waiting on you to tell him what you want from him.
After a few minutes of silence, you ask, "just a date?"
“Just a date,” he agrees. You should know him well enough though to know that’s not it. Sure enough, he smugly adds, “but if you end up riding my dick, then that’s just fate, baby.”
And there it goes, that charisma and charm that always kept you coming back for more.
Your smile is hard to conceal, so you settle for biting your lip, looking away. This man has no filter sometimes…not that you’re complaining. At all.
Feeling bold, probably from the wine traveling through your system, you play into his teasing. “Maybe I just want some dick.”
“That’s fine too.” He shrugs. “You know all you gotta do is ask, and I’ll get you right. Every single time.” A beat. “How you think Callie got here?”
That’s the thing….he’s not wrong, not wrong at all. You can’t think of a single sexual encounter with this man that didn’t either bring tears to your eyes from how good he was eating you up or had you walking with an almost limp the next day from how good he beat your shit up. Often both.
It’s always a good time with the head of the table.
Finally, you settle on an answer that feels most appropriate. “I’ll only agree if you agree to behave.”
He looks confused. Understandable. “What does it mean to behave?”
Crossing your arms over your chest, you answer confidently, “it means keeping your hands and body parts to yourself.”
If you agree to this, it has to be well regulated and feelings or hormones can’t get in the way of things. If you and Joe are to progress into something more, you have to take it slow, even if just for Callie.
At least, that’s the hope.
Nodding, he asks, mischief in his light eyes. “What if you’re the one who can’t behave?”
You snort, using the oil to grease your scalp. “Unlikely.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah.”
“We’ll see about that.” He has that look in his eyes, the same look that almost always ended up with you bent over whatever the most sturdy object in the room was. It’s a dangerous expression.
And you suddenly find your thighs clenching together.
Not a good sign.
“Well,” you clear your throat, leaning over the counter, praying his perceptive ass didn’t notice that. “As much as I would love to continue to chat with you, I have to call our daughter and talk to her before she goes to bed.” It’s not an entire lie; you do need to call her. Just not at this moment. He doesn't need to know that though.
“You’re flustered, aren’t you?”
This man….
Two can play that game.
Pushing your arms together to press your breast together, you’re pleased seeing his gaze darken. “Does it look like I’m flustered, baby?” His jaw clenching is all the satisfaction you need. Mission accomplished. “Goodnight, Joe.”
Refusing to give him a chance to come back with something, you end the call, only realizing what just happened once you’re left alone with your thoughts.
You’re going out on a date with Joe.
What the fuck?

AlliMocha Fancuries FYC Post!
Hi Hello, Pip Pip Cheerio! Fancuries is here once again! And boy do I have something to share this FYC post.
So, I haven’t worked on Bittersweet X Daydream in a hot minute if I'm gonna be honest. A lot of other obligations have been taking time away from my main fanseries sadly. BUT I do have one new thing to show you guys regarding it.
Hear me out.
A redesign.
I KNoW I know I said no more redesigns, but after having these characters for so long, it's only natural that I'd want to change how they look. Specifically, there is only one character that I've redesigned so far anyway…
Tumblr media
Lei Sandiego / Cure Spice
“𝘔𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘚𝘮𝘰𝘬𝘺, 𝘎𝘶𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘈𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘓𝘰𝘺𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘮𝘢! 𝘊𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘚𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘦!”
Age: 16 (Second year/Sophomore)
Birthday: September 18th
Height: 5’6”
Ethnicity: Hispanic American
Cure color: Blue and Scarlet
Essence: Charismatic
Often referred to as “The school beauty”, Lei is admired by almost all of her peers. Her amazing charisma, along with her intimidatingly cool and beautiful looks immediately captures everyone’s attention. But despite this, she’s really just a big fashion geek. She prides herself in her impeccable style savvy-ness and studies the latest trends all the time. Lei is also a very confident person, sometimes to the point that it can be overbearing, but she’s never arrogant and always means well. She’s a hopeless romantic and is constantly trying to look for someone who likes her beneath her looks. Although she’s fashion-centric she’s also very athletic, being the co-captain of the girls' volleyball team, and so devotes time to doing both hobbies.
· · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
That's not all, however, because I also have a new series that I've been working on. A crossover series if you will. Based on one of my favorite Disney movies of all time:
Sugar Rush! Precure
A group of girls go to the arcade after school every day to hangout. They excel at most of the consoles there, notably the racing games. One day, Vanelope finds a weird token like she had never seen before, as it was engraved with intricate patterns and a shiny gold. When she attempts to use it in a racing game, it flashes in the machine and floats out as another trinket (henshin item). At that moment, a mysterious person is creating havoc outside the arcade, clearly looking for something. He spots the trinket in Vanelope’s hand, and we all know what happens from here.
Yep! Cures based on the sugar rush racers from Wreck-It Ralph! So far, I only have 2 of their designs, but I'm still completely in love with where this is going. Speaking of which, lets show those two off!
Tumblr media
Vanelope Von Schmitt / Cure Sweets
Age: 16
A very confident girl, Vanelope is definetly the ray of sunshine that brightens anyone’s day. She’s very friendly, but is also not afraid to tell it like she sees it. She also has a habit of being overly sarcastic or jokey, which can come off as annoying to others. Not really good at school and overly clumsy, so sometimes covers her negative emotions with jokes or sarcasm. Adores arcades and always states it’s her home away from home.
Tumblr media
Tabitha Mathews / Cure Taffy
Age: 16
Very rich and spoiled and it definetly shows. She can be cocky and overbearing at times, but she’s got a good heart. One of the more popular girls in their school, and accells in all her extracurriculars. Due to her father being principal, people have rumored that all her grades were boosted due to nepotism, but thats not true. She works hard to get where she is, and while vain and sometimes a little rude, she isn’t afraid to help others in need. Goes to the arcade to get away at times.
· · ─────── ·𖥸· ─────── · ·
So that’s all I’ve been working on so far! I can’t really say I’ve done much with my fanseries over the years, but hopefully you all like what I do have!
Byieeee~!

Prompt number 13 for the dialogue prompts pls?
Thanks for the prompt! #13 “I dare you to kiss me.”
-
It starts out, as most things recently do for Steve, with Dustin. He can't even remember what it was Dustin had even wanted him to do. Dustin had said 'I bet you won't do it' and Steve had replied 'you aren't old enough to gamble' and Dustin returned with 'then I dare you.'
And. Well.
He couldn't back down from a dare, could he?
It becomes a Thing. At first, it's just Dustin daring him to do small, easily achievable things (dare you to give me the bag of chips, dare you to pick me up from Hellfire, dare you to slap the top of the next door frame you walk through) but where Steve is, Robin isn't far behind. It doesn't take long for her to start in on it. (Dare you to take me to the diner for lunch, dare you to be on rewind duty today, dare you to have a sleepover with me at your place.)
It spreads beyond them eventually.
"I dare you to try and beat an actual state championship basketball player," Lucas says with a playful grin, ducking out of Steve's grasp even as Steve laughs out a, "I'll show you state championship!"
"I dare you to sit in on a Dungeons and Dragons session," Will says with a cheeky grin, flashing a wink at Dustin, who is fist pumping behind Steve's back because Steve says yes.
"I dare you to be less annoying," Mike says, swatting Steve's hands away from where he was ruffling Mike's hair, sat between Mike and Dustin at said session. Steve rolls his eyes but turns to bug Dustin instead.
It was a joy watching the Party teach El what dares were. Steve forgets, sometimes, that El is still new to most of the things he takes for granted everyday.
Nancy and Jonathan don't really join in on daring Steve to do things, but he's caught Jonathan daring the kids or Argyle to do silly things. Argyle, who had returned to California to finish school but returned to Hawkins almost as soon as the school year ended, loved to join in, though.
Eddie is the last one to join in the Dare Game. It doesn't take Steve long to realize it's because Eddie doesn't know if he's allowed to. Not in a I'm-not-sure-we're-friends way they'd already worked through, but in a I-thought-this-was-an-old-inside-joke way.
Steve assures him it's a recent development. A grab at being silly kids a little while longer now that the Upside Down can't come and ruin anymore childhoods.
"C'mon," Steve grins at him, "I dare you to touch your toes."
Eddie rolls his eyes in response but drops down into sitting cross-legged on the floor, one finger tip poking at the end of his socks. It's cheating but Steve will take a win where he can. Especially since Eddie says, "I dare you to sit down and relax for once in your fucking life."
It's so silly, this little game of I Dare You they've started but it's also wonderful to watch the kids be kids even though they're all onto 15 or 16 now, and only getting older.
The best part of the game is that it's playable anywhere. I dare you to beat my high score is heard often at the arcade. It's also hilarious to see what terrible movies end up at movie night because someone was dared to watch an awful one. The amount of times they've all had to watch Crimewave should be considered torture, honestly.
Steve's favorite part of the game, though, is when the kids dare Eddie to do things. No dare is too ridiculous, silly, or embarrassing for Eddie, it seems. No ones goal is to embarrass each other, Steve's sure, but he also knows that he wouldn't be willing to attempt a cartwheel in the middle of the parking lot in front of the grocery store. Especially since it turns out, Eddie can't do a cartwheel and just kind of flops onto the ground in a heap. Reflexively, Steve took a step forward to check on him but Eddie burst out in laughter quickly and when Eddie laughs it doesn't take long for everyone to join.
He's got an infectious laugh.
He watches Eddie fail at cartwheels, and succeed at climbing trees like a damn squirrel. Eddie's jumped out of swings and off of slides the few times they've gone to the park. Recited the monologue Romeo gives before he drinks the poison (from memory) before pretending to stab himself and fall backwards into Steve's pool (the dare had been to dramatically fall into the pool).
Watching Eddie makes him feel light in a way Steve doesn't think he's ever felt. He's always watching, even when Eddie catches him looking. Steve just meets his eye and gives him a fond smile. Eddie smiles back.
The summer goes on. The dares lessen, the novelty of the game never really fading, but certainly mellowing.
The pool dare, when Eddie'd monologued Shakespeare, had been Steve's favorite dare until the end of summer came.
Steve and Eddie had been dancing around each other, and Eddie, the braver of the two it seemed, puts and end to their misery. It's just Eddie and Steve laying in the grass of the Harrington's backyard, watching the stars come out.
It's as simple as Eddie rolling onto his side beside Steve, propping himself up on an elbow and whispering, "I dare you to kiss me."
And. Well.
He can't back down from a dare, can he?

Step-sisters
Tumblr media
Y/N: 16 years old Nat: 18 years old Wanda: 16 years old Yelena: 16 years old Story: Y/N and Nat broke up when Y/N's dad and Natasha's mom announced their engagement… ——————————————————
Y/N'S POV When my dad announced me that he was getting married, I was shocked. If he's not at work, he's usually just home watching TV or something. So I have no idea where did he meet Melina.
I want only the best for my father and I would be really happy for him if Melina wasn't my girlfriend's mother. Natasha and I had only been dating for a month when my dad told me his soon to-be-wife will be moving in with us along with her daughters.
When I saw Natasha standing on our porch with a suitcase, my world fell apart. My feeling were… still are too strong for the redhead, but because faith decided to mess with us, we can't be together. We're step-sisters now.
It all would be somehow okay if Natasha wouldn't have her new girlfriend over every time our parents leave the house. I know I shouldn't have these feelings, but every time I see Maria near Natasha, jealousy takes over me and I better spend the rest of the day alone in my room.
Dad and Melina are out of the town for a few days, so right now I'm in the living room, cuddled up to my cousin and best friend Wanda on the couch while watching a movie. Wanda and I have always had such a strong relationship, we're more like sisters and we know everything about each other.
"You guys are so annoying" Yelena groans, flopping on the couch next to us. "If Natasha and her girlfriend aren't occupying the TV then you and your girlfriend occupy the TV. I want to watch TV too" Yelena complains with a sigh, crossing her arms over her chest.
"Wanda's not my-" I start, but Wanda cuts me off by covering my mouth with her hand so I couldn't speak.
"We're sorry, Yelena. How about Y/N/N and I go upstairs, so you can watch TV?" Wanda offers, her hand still covering my mouth. "Right, my love?" She asks, pressing a kiss to my forehead. I give her a confused look, not because her kissing my forehead, we do that all the time, but because her acting like we're dating. Wanda gives me a stern look which tells me to better agree with her.
"Mhm" I nod. "Sure, we can go upstairs" I smile, handing Yelena the remote, getting a 'thanks' from her in response.
Wanda interlocks our fingers while walking all the way from the living room to my bedroom upstairs. Of course we have to bump into Maria and Natasha on the stairs.
"Babe, we could go to the cinema tonight. How does that sound?" Wanda asks, looking at me.
"Hm. Sure" I answer, remaining confused, but Natasha's look was worth it.
As soon as I close the door of my room, I turn to Wanda who's comfortably sat on my bed by now.
"Okay. Wands, you know I love you, but we're cousins and it's just… gross" I tell her immediately, Wanda looking at me with an amused look.
"You're such an idiot sometimes, Y/N" She chuckles. "Natasha's looking daggers at me every time I come near you. She obviously still has feelings for you and the fact that they think we're dating will only make Natasha jealous and fight for you" Wanda explains.
"Wanda, how many times have I told you that Nat and I just can't be together. We're sisters and it's just weird" I sigh, flopping on the bed next to her.
"Step, you're step-sisters, Y/N. You're not related by blood, it's legal. Plus, I see how much you love her, so as your cousin AND your best friend, it's my duty to get you two back together" Wanda smiles.
"I really appreciate that, Wands, but-" I start, but she cuts me off.
"No buts, Y/N" She tilts her head which is my sign to shut up.
"Fine" I sigh.
———————————
Dad and Melina are coming home today which means Maria will finally leave and I won't have to spend days locked in my room.
"I'll see you at school" I smile at Wanda, walking her to the door. She stayed here over the entire weekend, playing on my girlfriend in front of Natasha, Maria and Yelena. I'm still not sure about this, but I've learnt to listen to Wanda, cause she's always right.
"See you tomorrow" She kisses my cheek as Natasha's with Maria behind us. "I love you"
"I love you too" I wave her goodbye and Wanda is gone, soon followed by Maria.
I make my way to the kitchen, taking a glass from the cupboard and filling it with water.
"So you're with Wanda now?" Natasha asks, also taking a glass and filling it with water.
"Yeah. Is anything wrong with that?" I ask before taking a sip of my water.
"… No. Not at all" Natasha clears her throat before answering. The way how tightly she's holding the glass tells me otherwise though, maybe Wanda was right and her plan is starting to work.
I place my glass on the counter, taking Natasha's from her hand as I really don't want it to break and cut her hands from how strong her grip over the glass is.
"Break up with her" Natasha blurts out. I knew how much jealous she can get and honestly I find it quite hot on her, but Wanda and I have only been playing on girlfriends for 2 days.
"What?" I laugh out, sitting on the kitchen counter.
"Break up with Wanda" She repeats, moving to stand right in front of me and putting her hands on the kitchen counter on each side of my thighs, trapping me there.
"And why would I do that?" I ask, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Because I can't see you with her, Y/N" Natasha sighs, her gaze at me softening.
"At least you know how I feel about you and Maria" I sigh. "Natasha, I still have feelings for you" I admit, playing with the rings on my fingers. "It hurts me to see you with her"
"You were the one who broke up with me, Y/N" She sighs.
"Because we're sisters now, Nat" I sigh, now playing with Natasha's arrow necklace. "But I just can't help myself and think about you all the time" I rest my forehead on hers, hoping she won't push me away and will say the same thing.
"Fuck, who am I kidding? I have feelings for you too. I started dating Maria, because I was trying to get you jealous" Natasha sighs.
"Would you… maybe… want to try it again? And go on a date with me?" I ask, shutting my eyes close and hoping for a 'yes'. Natasha nods her head slowly, breathing out a 'yeah' and wrapping her arms around me, hiding her head in the crock of my neck. I smile, pressing my lips to her forehead before wrapping my arms around her neck, hugging my redhead tightly.
It's safe to say that Wanda's plan worked and I have to thank her for that. I don't know how Nat and I will tell our parents if we start dating again, but hopefully they'll take it well. Maybe Nat and I could ask Wanda for help once I tell Natasha Wanda's my cousin and not my girlfriend…

10 random facts about me
I was tagged by @rebelangelsims 😘
Let's see. I think I've done some random facts asks before so there may be some overlap because I'm not a very interesting person but let's see...
When I was like 6 or something, my brother had me convinced he was Peter Pan and he gave me a little bag of pixie dust. I was (and still am) terrified of heights but he told me if I jumped off the back porch, which was really high off the ground to tiny me, that I would fly if I sprinkled the pixie dust on myself. I got as far as climbing over the railing and trying to summon the courage to jump when he stopped me. Turns out the pixie dust was powdered sugar.
My favorite song of all time is Free Somebody by Luna from f(x). Idk what it is about that song that my brain latched onto like "yesssssss this is the one" but I just love it.
I am named after Laura Ingalls Wilder.
I am intensely weirded out by puppets, particularly of the Muppet variety. There's just something about those felt-covered bastards I don't trust.
I started playing the Sims 1 in 2002 when I was 16. I never owned a single expansion pack for it, but it captivated me so much, I was almost late for work more than once because my pixel people needed me.
I always say "please" and "thank you" to my virtual assistants, not because I'm afraid of a robot uprising, but because that's just how I am. I don't even realize I do it, most of the time. Me and Bixby (I'm a Samsung user) actually have beef because I'll be like "Hey Bixby open Outlook, please" and she'll be like "lol bitch Idk what Outlookplease is" and I'm like "OPEN. OUTLOOK. Please." and she's like "Idk what you want me to do, you don't have Outlookplease installed on your phone" and I'm like "I AM TRYING TO BE NICE TO YOU" and Bixby just sits there all smug and not opening Outlook like aldjfalsdjfadsjfalsjfsd what do you want from me why won't you accept my politeness???????
I have made my Simself in every version of the game except Sims 1 because it wasn't possible to do so. But in Sims 2, 3, and 4, I have made myself and of course I am always a witch with a black cat familiar.
My addiction to CAS goes back to childhood when I used to make dresses for my Barbies out of random scraps of fabric. I didn't know how to sew, though, so everything was held together with safety pins, dental floss, school glue, and tape.
Not only can I whistle, I can whistle pretty darn well. I can't sing worth a damn so I guess God felt sorry for me and gave me one singular musical talent. It just so happens to be the one that most people find incredibly annoying.
I've been fascinated by Greek mythology since I was a small child entirely too young to be reading Greek mythology. Do you know how much incest there is in Greek mythology?! A lot. A LOT! I was raised by Fundies so it's really surprising I was allowed to read those stories and nobody was like "hey maybe the 6 year old shouldn't be reading about all this murder and incest and baby-eating". Because baby-eating also comes up a surprising amount of times. I still love it, though. Give me a good Greek myth any day.
Hmmmmmm let's see...who to tag...
Well if you read all of that crazy shit up there, I'm tagging you. Yes, you! You reading this!
Also, @venriliz, @getboolpropped, @changingplumbob, @coreene-simblr, @druidberries, and @living-undead don't ask questions just do it unless you don't want to.

"Don't Tell Dad, Please?"
In which- Wilbur's and Y/n's daughter gets her period and trusts Y/n to not tell Wil.
a/n: Can you tell I'm slow and caught up in school?? I have a request I'm working on at the moment and it somehow deleted most of it so I'm really sad. Enjoy this ig? Also, this is short as fuck...
Chapter info: Period, blood (obv), self projection (Split parents can suck ass-), afab Y/n and daughter
Pronouns: Y/n- She/her, Daughter- She/her
Masterlist:
Of course it wouldn't be right to send a 14 year old to school when she has just started something that definitely wouldn't be going away soon. But, she still needed an education. Opting for asking her husband, and father of her daughter, Y/n starts towards the door, ready to tell him. However, she was stopped by a firm grip on her shoulder and glossy eyes peering up at her.
---
She had a decent amount of knowledge on what a period was, yet she was still freaked out by the sight of blood in her underwear from the night prior. And she had school tomorrow...
"Don't tell dad, please?" That sentence almost made your heart shatter.
The past memories of having to hide your period from your father, frantically texting your own mother at 5 in the morning, a horrid sight in your underwear. Only her knowing for so long that by the time you were 16, your dad hadn't known until a family holiday. You wished you or your mother had told him sooner, educated him. He had a sister of his own, yes, but she had never told him. Having split parents had never made it any easier, either. Having your time of the month start at your fathers, and ending at your mothers was definitely annoying. You were just glad that your daughter didn't have split parents and didn't have to grow up and learn how to live in two completely opposite households. She was loved by both parents, and you were glad.
"Trust me, if I tell dad, he will completely understand, sweetheart." You spoke, reassurance laced in your tone.
"Are you sure?" Her whisper of panic and fright reminded you of your first monthly.
"Sit down with me?" You invite her to the carpeted floor of her bedroom, patting next to you. She gladly took the offer.
"Can I tell you a story of when your father had to comfort me on my first 'that time' when I stayed at his?" A pause followed your ask, giving her time to respond. You took her small nod as a sign to continue.
"I remember being curled up in the guest bathroom, the furthest bathroom away from him so he didn't see me. I thought it would be weird, gross even, if he saw his girlfriend shivering on the floor due to the stain in her underwear. What I wasn't aware of, however, was how kind and caring he could be in these situations-" A muttered coo from the girl next to you "-And so when I heard a knock at the door and a groggy 'Darling, you in there?' I freaked out. A quiet squeak left my lips, my hand quickly finding it's way to my mouth-" Another coo from her "-Before I knew it, he was holding me in his arms, softly rocking me side to side, slowly calming me with reassuring words of comfort and kindness. And the best part-" A dramatic pause "-I got extra snuggles all day."
Finishing your story, you look to where the smaller girl was sitting, and almost melted at the sight. She had swaddled herself in the sweater she was wearing, her face buried deep in the cotton of her dad's sweater that he offered to you that frightful night.
Almost immediately a small tear slipped from your eye, watching as your daughter used one of your favourite items as a comfort mechanism.
"Hey, Muffin?" Her attention grabbed by your soft voice.
"Is it alright if I tell dad?" A nod of approval and out the door you were... or you thought.
Immediately running into your favourite man's chest, a soft chuckle leaving your lips at your dumbness. "Sorry, Wil."
A hand ran up your back, helping you steady yourself, before he spoke softly, despite the obvious hint of sleep in his voice.
"Were you going to tell me something?" He teased, but immediately regretted it as soon as he saw his daughters eyes stare into his with fear. Her worst fear, she would call it.
"Oh shit... Hey Pumpkin. What's up?" He immediately found a spot next to his child, finding himself on the floor in a matter of seconds, his favourite woman leaning on his shoulder.
"How long were you standing there? Did you hear anything? How much did you hear? Am I gross? Ugh." She rambled, emotions mixed and mixed they were. Sadness, fear, joy, pure fright. She truly did not want him to know but by the previous sentences he spoke a good minute ago proved her hope wrong.
"If you're wondering, you will never, and I mean never be weird or gross in my eyes. You are the greatest daughter I could have ever wished for. And if your mother's story proved anything, I hope it taught you that I will never hurt, push down, or ever think of you differently because you bleed every month. If anything, it makes you stronger."
A small kiss was pressed to her forehead, and a soft embrace engulfed the most perfect daughter ever.

Hey I was a fan of your stuff but literally only realised that you’re a minor writing smut. Not gonna shame you for it or anything since that’s your choice but as a grown adult myself it does make me uncomfortable interacting with a minor who is posting 18+ content and I didn’t realise before since it wasn’t as obvious with there being so much in your bio. Definitely think it would be better if you made it more obvious on your blog at you are under 18 as it’s kinda uncomfortable for some adults read smut that is written by a minor. Not trying to be rude but this is more of a suggestion so others are more aware before choosing to interact with your content :)
Okay, first of all, thank you for being nice about it!! ✨️
But I would like to emphasize that I'm 17, not 12, and that I'm turning 18 in less than 3 months.
And quite frankly, I don't understand this whole argument from some adults.
I get it if we're talking about people under 16 or 15 but what difference do 3 months makes? Lmao
I definitely know people who've had sex at this age and even younger, so I don't quite get why me writing about sex is that big of a deal?
Some adults on here are just so nitpicky about this shit and that's annoying.
Because teenagers (and I'm saying teenagers and not minors because a minor is someone from the second they're born all the way to 18 and that's a big fucking difference that a lot of you want to ignore.) Know about sex. They know about porn.
You can still easily get access to porn online, which is way unhealthier than the smut I write.
Like is this about maturity??? Because I can assure you, absolutely fucking no one will be more mature the second they turn 18.
Is this about the legal side of it, like I don't get it. In a lot of countries the age of conset is under 18.
We literally learn about sex in school!!!
You're definitely not getting any brownie points for shit like this, if that's what you want.
A lot of y'all need to lose the superiority complex.
Besides, my smut is very tame compared to most of the stuff on here.
You need to humble yourself. Because you're not protecting minors, which you claim to do. I'd rather have them read smut than become addicted to porn.
Porn is not an accurate representation of sex at all, it's setting dangerous and unrealistic standards for performance, expectations and beauty standards. Especially for girls.
I'm not saying my smut is the holy grail, but it's better than porn. I write soft and loving intimacy, aftercare, and I have and always will mention stomach rolls, stretchmarks etc.
Also, my age is smack dab in the middle of my bio. It's been there since October last year. That's on you, my friend.
The fuck you think the 17 was for, huh??? 😭
And you're using aware like I write dead dove content or like I'm a fucking criminal or something.
The majority of my blog is NOT smut. All my NSFW works are marked on my masterlist.
I'm not a child, I'm aware of my decisions, and I'm a pissed that some adults can't get that in their fucking head.
Oh yeah, and guess what??
Teenagers get horny!!!
God forbid we go through a normal human experience.
Or would you rather I sleep around and be at the risk of catching an STD and getting pregnant???
Because I could very well be doing that instead, but I'm not.
I obviously don't know if you're American, but I'm not. I'm European, and teenagers here are very different. They're more mature, grown up, and independent.
Please get over yourself, I'm not 12 and laugh every time someone says Penis or Vagina.
Jesus fucking christ.

1. Kell: Dude. You're no fun to play with, you're too good.
Aiden: Kell, I love you, but I think you just suck at the game.
Kell: Dude! I always won against my siblings!
Aiden: Aww. I always let my brother win too when we were little.
Kell: You're cheating.
Aiden: I would never. I take these things very seriously.
2. Kell: By the way, you know that guy I went on a date with before your coma?
Aiden: Yeah?
Kell: Yeah, we were supposed to go on another date literally the day you got into the coma, so obviously I was like "dude, I can't make it, my friend is having a literal medical emergency", and he was like "okay, I'll just break this off here then, bye".
Aiden: Oh nooo. Did I cockblock you with my coma?
Kell: You literally did!
3. Aiden: I'll make it up to you. I'll wingman you so hard. I'll introduce you to literally everyone I know.
Kell: Isn't that, like, the entirety of River Bay?
Aiden: Almost, yeah. So you're bound to find someone.
Kell: Dude, you did not win again.
Aiden: You practically let me.
Kell: Dude!
Peyton: Is now a bad time to say hi?
4. Aiden: Peyton! NO, of course not. I didn't even know you were here, it's been so long!
5. Peyton: Yeah, I seem to recall being ignored for a month?
Aiden: Sorry about that. I was sleeping.
Peyton: For a month?
Aiden: Doctor's orders.
Peyton: Ah, of course. Totally reasonable.
6. Aiden: But don't worry. I'm back in my element.
Peyton: Do I want to know what that means?
Aiden: It means I'm ready to annoy the fuck out of you and text you every millisecond 24/7.
Peyton: Okay, I can get behind that.
7. Peyton: how are you doing?
Aiden: Great.
Peyton: "Great"? Really?
Aiden: So great. How are you? Are you still working at the mall?
Peyton: I quit impulsively a few weeks ago. I should probably get a new job if I want to be able to pay rent, but, eh. Video games are more fun.
Kell: If you're evicted you can move into Sam and Aiden's closet, I hear it's pretty empty nowadays.
Aiden: Totally.
8. Kell: Peyton, you're good at connect 4, right?
Peyton: I'd say so.
Kell: Help me win. Please.
Aiden: Who's cheating now?
Kell: There's no rule that says you can't have someone help you.
Peyton: Don't put it there. One step right.
Kell: Here?
Peyton: Yeah.
9. Aiden: Peyton, I love you so much.
Kell: Dude. Did you just make me lose?
Peyton: [Shrug]
Kell: Fuck you. Both of you.
[New scene]
10.
Sam: You met Aiden right after the car crash.
Jordan: Yes.
Sam: How bad was it? He never told me.
Jordan: Considering the crash, his injuries were very mild.
Sam: But he could've died.
Jordan: He didn't. And I don't think you need to worry about something that happened six years ago.
Sam: No, I just...
Jordan: Just what?
Sam: I don't know.
11. Sam: I hated Aiden when we first met.
Jordan: According to Kell's accounts you were simultaneously in love with him?
Sam: Attracted to. There's a difference.
Jordan: Not to me.
Sam: And how many successful relationships have you had?
Jordan: Well... I've certainly had relationships, I can tell you that much.
12. Sam: Don't you get tired of talking to new people all the time? How do you even find so many people you're interested in? I did it once and now I'm marrying him so I never have to do it again.
Jordan: It's easy if you're drunk and have very, very low standards. It also helps if you're fresh off a 13 hour shift at a hospital.
Sam: That sounds awful.
Jordan: I don't necessarily recommend it.
13. Sam: But you keep doing it.
Jordan: I suppose I have nothing better to do after those 13 hour shifts.
Sam: I'm so glad I dropped out of med school.
Jordan: You should be.
14. Sam: I'm just going to get some water.
Jordan: Okay.
15. Lucas: No, I had to do it because Michael thought it was "rude".
Michael: It was.
Lucas: If I pay for something, I want what I paid for. That's not rude. If I fuck someone's tattoo up I'd fix it.
Michael: You can't compare a meal to something that's permanently on someone's body.
Lucas: You agree with me.
Peyton: Oh, yeah.
Lucas: Exactly!
16. Peyton: Hey, Sam. How are you doing? Sleeping better?
Sam: A little.
Peyton: So... while you're here... Aiden.
Sam: Yes?
17. Peyton: He's acting... suspiciously normal, isn't he?
Lucas: Right? I literally told Michael the same thing ten minutes ago. This is the way Aiden always acts after medical emergencies, he just pretends everything's fine.
18. Sam: It's been a month. Things have gone back to normal, he's not pretending.
Lucas: No, sorry, no offense, Sam, but I don't think you get it. You weren't there all the other times he had to go to the hospital because of drugs--and that shouldn't be plural, by the way--this happens every time.
19. Lucas: He says he's fine and that he's clean now and then he just waits until people stop asking him about it and we're back at square one.
Sam: This was different though.
Lucas: Just because it was worse and because he maybe went through a tiny little bit of withdrawal while unconscious doesn't mean he's magically better.
Michael: Lucas, please.
20. Michael: You yourself said that there's nothing we can do.
Lucas: Well, we can't exactly force him to do anything but there's a difference between overcaring and pushing him away, and being so passive it turns into enabling.
Michael: I agree, but I don't think that has anything to do with Sam.
Lucas: I didn't say it does.
21. Lucas: I just don't want him dead, that's all.
Peyton: I seriously doubt any of us want him dead.
Lucas: Exactly. So we can't just trust that he's better because he says he is.
Sam: That's not what--[Sigh] I don't think it's fair to talk about this behind his back.
22. Lucas: I'd love to discuss this with him directly but he makes it pretty difficult. There's a reason he didn't want to talk to us for a fucking month.
Sam: Maybe it wasn't deliberate. Maybe he was just recovering from a coma.
Lucas: But he was talking to literally everyone else during that time, wasn't he? It's not a coincidence he ignored me, Michael, and Peyton specifically.
23. Sam: I... I don't know his motivation. And either way I don't want to be involved in this.
Peyton: That's fair. I didn't really mean for this to be a whole discussion.
Lucas: Sorry. Look, my point is just... if he's clean, that's fucking great. But I kind of doubt it. Just... keep an eye on him.
Sam: I always am.

Don't let me down - Part 9
Y/n's POV:
Masterlist Scarlett Masterlist
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7 Part 8
Relationship: MamaScarlett x 16 yr old Reader
Summary: Whilst Y/n tries to distract herself from the impending court case with Mr Woodstock. She ends up having to face another hurdle she wasn't expecting.
Word count: 6993
Trying to focus on my schoolwork and soccer has been really hard since Danny came around and dropped the bomb that I'm likely going to have to testify against Mr Woodstock. Scarlett and Colin have been great and are supporting me more than I could ask. They're not pushing me, but they are there when I have my moments. I'm glad that I have them to go through this with.
When I told Laura, I've never seen her more angry. She started ranting about how unfair it is to make, not just me, but the other kids have to relive what we went through. She's spent a lot of time with me after school and I'm sure that her and Scarlett have been texting about me. Part of me is a little annoyed as I feel like I'm being watched, but then I'm grateful they care about me enough to check in with each other.
We had a meeting with the DA who is leading the case and he has confirmed that I will be asked a number of questions by himself and then the defence lawyer will have a chance to also question me. The thought of that terrifies me as I know that they are just going to try and prove me wrong or discredit my testimony. I've seen enough Law & Order SUV to know how it goes.
However, both Danny and the DA have assured me that they'll coach me in responding to the questions. I'll already know what they plan to ask me, so I'll be prepared from that point of view. However, we'll have no idea what the defence may say. So, we're going to do some sessions together where they'll prepare me as best they can.
Scarlett has tried to suggest that I do it via video link to give me an extra layer of protection, but I know that I want to be there. I can't bring my parents to justice for the years I spent being abused by them, but I can to Mr Woodstock. It's not just me he hurt and if I had the balls to do this earlier, I could have stopped the other kids getting hurt too.
When we left the DA's office, I felt dread over the upcoming court case. We have a month to prepare before I'll need to testify. Thankfully, I don't need to be there for anything else. It's one day and then hopefully they'll find him guilty, and I'll be able to move on and put my past firmly behind me. Allow me to focus on how my life is going to be better moving forward.
The sessions with Danny have been ok. He's predicted what he believes the defence may ask and then poses the question to me. We then work on how I can approach different elements. He also helps me to control my emotions and focus on breathing. Taking a breather is not a bad thing and will only reflect badly on the defence lawyer if he tries to move me on.
I think the sessions are helping, but I feel drained after every one. I cry in each one and I hate it. Reliving what happened is bad enough, but having to prepare to defend that I'm telling the truth is horrible. I just hope that this is all worth it.
Thankfully, we have our next soccer games this week and it's providing me with something to focus on. It's still hard to give me full attention, but I owe it to the team to still be the best player and captain that I can be. This week, Lizzie is joining Scarlett and Rose to watch. Unfortunately, Colin is working today so can't make it. Scarlett decided to leave Cosmo with Melanie so the three of them can enjoy the afternoon before coming to school to watch the game.
We're so far unbeaten this season. We had two preseason games that gave us a good platform to work from. But we've only play 5 league games. We're playing well and hopefully we'll be able to make it into the playoffs at the end of the year. But today's game will be the biggest test that we've had yet. Rochford High are a tough team and they are aggressive.
I use the warmup to get my mind completely on the game and make sure that I don't let it drift off to everything that is happening in my personal life. Laura is great at keeping me smiling as she jokes around, and we make sure our pre-game warm up doesn't change even though we're playing a tough team.
As we're taking on water, my eyes scan the bleachers, which are bursting tonight. It's like the whole local town has turned up. My eyes quickly land on my little sister who is jumping up and down and waving at me when she sees me looking. I wave back and pull a face at her whilst Lizzie and Scarlett wave to me also.
It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to see them in the stands. I never thought I would have people here to support me. Scarlett has been to every one of my home games. She even rearranged work to come to the one of them. It makes me feel wanted and loved and it's a strange feeling for me. But I like it and I couldn't be more grateful to see them in the crowd.
Coach Saunders calls us into a huddle and gives us an inspiring team talk. I gulp when I have to follow him up, but I make sure to be confident and re-enforce our teamwork and we win together and lose together. With our huddle over, I make my way over to the referee for the coin toss. I shake their captain's hand and internally fist pump when we win the coin toss. I decide to kick off first and we take our places on the pitch waiting for the whistle to blow.
The game is frantic from the first whistle. As expected, they play hard and are hitting us off the ball a lot. We change our tactic to have quick and accurate passing, which works and starts to frustrate them. They end up fouling us a lot more and the ref warns them about their actions.
We take advantage of this when Laura is on the receiving end of a beautiful freekick from Bella. Even though she's tasselling with the defender, she's able to get up higher than her and her head meets the ball. I watch as it flies past the keeper and into the back of the net.
The crowd go wild as we rush around Laura and Bella, cheering the perfect set piece. "I'm proud of you babe." I tell her as we walk back to our side of the pitch for the restart, my arm draped over her shoulder. "I need to keep impressing you." She smirks, nudging me. "Consider me impressed." I return, moving to take my spot.
We manage to dominate the first half but don't get any more goals. We've been able to adapt our play to make their efforts ineffective. We can see that it's just frustrating them more and that carries on into the second half. We're getting so many shots on goal but we're just not getting it in the net.
They manage to catch us on the counterattack, and I rush back to provide support in defence, with a well time sliding tackle I dispossess their striker as she's about to take her shot on goal. I quickly jump to my feet and sprint down the pitch to get myself into an open position.
Seeing I'm in open space, I call for the ball and trap it with my foot. Looking up I see it's just me against two defenders, my team still getting back into position from the counterattack. Not wasting anytime, I take on the first defender, getting around her with ease.
I look up hoping to see someone in the box, but I'm still the furthest up the field. With a swift nudge to the ball, I megs the final defender and run around her, despite her efforts to stop me getting to the ball. Just as she tugs my t-shirt, I manage to get a good connection with the ball and watch as it sails into the top corner. Though I'm now on the floor as a result of the shirt tug.
This doesn't stop the team celebrating with me, bundling on me on the floor. With our celebration over, Laura holds her hand out to me to help me back to my feet. "You just had to one up me didn't you." She teases. "Maybe I want to impress you too." I wink at her as she shakes her head at my antics. As I'm moving back for the restart, I look to the crown and wave to Rose who's still cheering. She really is my biggest fan, and she looks adorable in our team jersey.
With our energy up, we just seem to get better. With our third goal, the pressure seems to disappear and we're playing more freely. When we win a freekick near the corner flag, I'm on the hunt for a second goal. I'm stood on the edge of the box and hold my hands in the air to indicate the play we should go for.
As the ball is crossed into the box, I run in and go to jump to try and get my head on the ball. Their defender goes up with me, but I see her elbow wind back as she jumps. She's not looking at the ball and I'm helpless as I watch her elbow move towards my face. For a split second I feel pain as she makes a connection, but it soon disappears as I fade into darkness.
Scarlett's POV:
This is the best that I've seen the team play. They're working as a cohesive group and seem to be able to counter anything the other team throw at them. I'm so proud when Y/n scores and the three of us cheer along with the rest of the crowd as the team celebrate.
Y/n had talked about how difficult this game was going to be. The opposition are probably one of the only teams that can match their ability, but they just don't seem to be able to break the team down. Instead of regrouping they're just getting more frustrated.
It's great seeing the smile on Y/n's face. I've not seen her smile like that in a while since we learnt about the court case. Soccer has always brought her happiness and I'm glad it's giving her an outlet today.
The team get ready for another freekick, and it seems certain that it's only a matter of time before they score again. My eyes are on my daughter as the anticipation builds. However, when I see an elbow collide with her face, I'm instantly out of my seat shouting for a foul.
However, I instantly freeze when I see Y/n on the floor not moving, her leg bent in an awkward angle. "Lizzie, watch Rose." I call out as I rush down the stairs of the bleachers and jump over the railing. Coach Saunders sees me and waves me over as he's knelt down next to my unconscious daughter.
As I reach her, I can hear the team arguing with the ref and a couple of them scuffling with the other team, mainly the defender that hit her. "Is she ok?" I ask, panic filling my voice as I kneel down next to her. Laura on one side holding her hand tightly. My eyes look over her and I see blood on her face from her nose. My eyes then move down to her leg, and I have to fight back tears. "She fell awkwardly and landed on her leg as she didn't have control over her body." Coach Saunders explains, moving so I can get in closer.
Fear overrides me as I'm desperate for my daughter to wake up. "We've called 911 and they should be here shortly." One of the assistant coaches calls out. "Y/n baby, wake up for me please." I beg her, my hands gently cupping her face. "Come on sweetheart." I encourage her, hoping that she might start to stir. My eyes flick to Laura who's watching on with teary eyes.
I move my hand and place it over hers that is already holding Y/n's. "She's going to be ok right?" Laura asks, looking up to me hopefully. "Of course she is. She's strong." I reassure her, though I'm scared myself. Thankfully, we don't have to wait for long for the ambulance to arrive and almost simultaneously, Y/n starts to stir awake. "Y/n, sweetie. It's Scarlett are you ok?" I ask her as her eyes fill with fear. "Mom?" She whispers, making my heart clench at the name. I don't let it get to me and focus on her. "I'm here baby. You're ok. The paramedics are here." I tell her and she nods.
She obviously starts to feel the pain and she starts to cry out. "It's ok babe. You're going to be fine. They'll get you some good stuff soon." Laura tries to joke through her own tears. The paramedics soon join us, and we reluctantly have to move out of the way as they treat her.
I take a moment to breathe and notice the referee brandish a red card to the defender that hit her. I have to fight from going over to the kid and giving her a piece of my mind. But I have to remember she is just that. A kid. "Mommy! Is Y/n, ok?" Rose calls out to me. I glance to Y/n and see she's being looked after and right now I need to comfort my other daughter.
I walk over to her and pick her up instantly. "She's hurt, but she's being looked after. She's going to have to go the hospital, but she'll be ok." I reassure her as she nods in my neck. "I can take Rose home whilst you're with Y/n." Lizzie offers but Rose instantly argues with that idea. "I don't want to leave Y/n. Please!" She begs. "I can bring her to the hospital?" Lizzie offers and I think for a moment. "You have to understand that it's going to be boring." I explain to Rose, and she nods. "I want to be there to protect Y/n." She responds, making my heart warm at her cuteness.
"How about we go home and grab some things for you both and then we'll come to the hospital." Lizzie suggests. "If you wouldn't mind that would be great." I agree, looking back towards Y/n. "Go, text me where you are, and we'll see you later." Lizzie says when she sees my concern. "Thank you, Lizzie. I love you Rose, and we'll see you later." I say before rushing back to be with Y/n.
They're currently giving her some gas and air when I return, and the paramedic looks to me. "Are you mom?" She asks and I nod. "We're just stabilising her leg and then we'll get her to the hospital. They'll assess her there and give her some additional pain relief." She explains and I nod along, my eyes fixated on Y/n.
Seeing where my eyes are the paramedic continues to reassure me. "This may look scary at the moment, but we need to also to stabilise her head just in case there are any injuries to her neck. We're making sure we take every precaution to prevent further injury." I continue to nod along. Understanding why they're doing what they're doing. It just doesn't make it any easier to watch.
I take my place next to Y/n and provide her any comfort I can whilst she is being seen too. "Can I come with you?" Laura asks, looking from Y/n to me. "No." Y/n jumps in taking Laura by surprise, her eyes showing the hurt. "You need to finish the game." Y/n clarifies. "But..." Laura goes to defend but Y/n cuts her off. "I'll still be broken when the game is over. I'm ok and not going anywhere. Quite literally." She jokes, making us both chuckle. "Please, you need to make sure we win this game and then you can come and see me." She requests. Laura reluctantly agrees but doesn't leave her side until she's guided on to the gurney and moved toward the ambulance. "I'll keep you updated." I promise Laura who nods, reluctant to let go. "I'll see you shortly babe." She smiles, placing a gentle kiss on Y/n's lips, who gives a giddy smile.
I climb in the back of the ambulance and take a seat next to Y/n, reaching out to hold her hand. The paramedics get in and we start on our journey to the hospital. "It hurts mom." Y/n looks to me, tears in her eyes. My heart skips a beat again when she calls me mom. "I know. I'm sorry you're hurt. But I'm here for you." I try to comfort her. "The doctors will be able to get you some morphine when you're in the ER." The paramedic tells Y/n, which seems to appease her for now.
Thankfully, it's not long until we're at the hospital and we're being taking through to the ER where a doctor and some nurses are waiting for us. The potential injury to her neck is their biggest concern right now and they want to confirm there isn't any further injury before properly addressing her leg.
I stand to the side feeling completely helpless as I watch the doctors and nurses move around Y/n, calling out stats and information as they go. The whimpers from Y/n make my heart break. I wish I could take the pain away from here. "Let's get a canula set up and we'll get some pain relief." One of the doctors orders.
Thankfully, the morphine seems to start working quite quickly and Y/n's whimpers start to peter out as the medicine does its job. "Mrs Johansson?" The call of my name tears my eyes away from my daughter and to the doctor who is stood next to me with a kind smile on his face. "Hi, I'm Dr Greenwood. I'm the primary physician for your daughter." He greets me. "On initial examination, it's clear that Y/n has a broken leg and potentially a facial fracture too. We're confident there is no damage to her neck, but we want to be sure before removing the brace. So, we'll be sending her down for some x-rays and scans so we can get a full assessment of her injuries." He explains and I nod along.
"We've given her pain relief and that seems to be working and she's much more comfortable now. I know it's hard to see your kid in pain, but I can assure you we're doing everything that we can to make sure she is comfortable." He assures me, making smile. "Thank you. I appreciate everything you're doing." I respond. "I can get one of the nurses to show you to a private waiting room whilst Y/n is taken for imagery, and we'll come and get you as soon as she's settled in a room." He offers. "Can I see her first?" I request. "Of course. We're just waiting for the porters now." He responds and moves out of the way for me to see Y/n.
The madness around her has died down now and she's just got a couple of nurses monitoring different things. "Hi sweetheart. How are you feeling?" I ask Y/n as I take her hand and gently run my hands through her hair. "Tired and sore." She responds with a croaky voice. Her eye is already starting to swell and bruise, a reminder of the harsh act that led to her being in the hospital. "They're going to take you to get some scans of your leg and neck in a minute. I'll be waiting for you to come back." I explain. "Does that mean I can get this thing off?" She asks, tugging a little at the neck brace. "As long as the scans come back clear you'll be free of the prison." I respond with a smirk, happy that there is a smile on her face.
"We're ready to take her now." One of the nurses tells us. "I'll be right here waiting. I love you ok." I tell her firmly. "I love you too." She responds, taking me by surprise. I don't think she's ever said that to me before. It causes a tear to fall down my cheek as I smile at her lovingly. "Mom, you've got to let me go." She chuckles, just adding to my happiness. I try not to think to much of it, before she was in pain and now, she's on drugs. When she's more with it, we may be going back to Scarlett, but I'll take it for now!
I watch as they roll Y/n away down the corridor, taking a deep breath. I'm then guided to a private waiting room, which I'm very grateful for. I'd rather this not be how news of Y/n gets out. I want it to be on our terms and when she's comfortable. I quickly text Lizzie an update and she confirms they're packing a bag for Y/n as it's likely she'll be in overnight.
Now I just need to call my husband. He's at work today preparing for filming tonight. I hesitate in calling him, but I know that he'd want to be told that she was in the hospital. I hit his contact name and wait for him to answer.
Colin: Hi babe. How was the game? Did they win?
He asks instantly, excitement in his voice. I love how invested he is in Y/n's soccer games.
Scarlett: Uh I'm not actually sure. Y/n got hurt during the game and we're currently at the hospital.
Colin: WHAT?! Is she ok? What happened? How badly is she hurt?
He rambles down the phone, panic lacing his voice.
Scarlett: She was elbowed in the face by a defender when she jumped to head a ball. It knocked her out and as she fell, she landed on her leg awkwardly.
Colin: Oh my God. Was it deliberate? Actually, never mind. I'm leaving work now and I'm coming to the hospital. What did the doctor say?
Scarlett: Col, you don't need to do that. Y/n understands you're working and she's doing ok? She's currently having scans to see how badly her leg is broken and to rule out a neck injury.
Colin: Of course, I'm coming. She's my daughter. Family always comes first, you know that.
I smile down the phone when he refers to Y/n as his daughter. He did it so easily. I really need to bring up the whole adoption thing again. I don't think I can go much longer without having her legal be my daughter. I want her to know that she has a loving mom and dad who will be there for her no matter what.
As he's on the phone I can hear him explaining the situation to someone, I'm assuming the director, who easily agrees for him to leave. He then starts to rush around to get to the car.
Colin: "Ok. I'm about to drive. I'll see you in about 30 minutes. I love you.
Scarlett: I love you too. Drive safely.
And with that he hangs up. I wait nervously to hear that Y/n is back. I'm still worried she's going to have further damage to her neck. I know they said they don't think there is anything to untoward about it, but I can't get the worrying sick feeling out of my stomach.
"Mrs Johansson?" I look up and see Laura waiting hesitantly in the doorway. "How many times do I have to tell you to call me Scarlett." I smile at her, opening my arms to her. She instantly moves forward and melts into my hug. "How is she?" She questions as we move to sit. I fill her in on everything the doctor said, and she listens intently.
"Do you know how hard it was not to go and punch that bitch in the face." She fumes after I explain the extent of her injuries. "I probably shouldn't admit this as the adult in this situation, but I feel the same." I admit to chuckles. "Did you win?" I ask and a smile grows on her face. "We scored two more goals. It was 4-0 in the end." She responds proudly. "Y/n will be happy." I say and Laura nods. "Turns out playing for a teammate helped us to play even better. We wanted to do our best for our captain." She explains.
Not too long later, Colin comes bursting through the door, giving both Laura and I a heart attack. "Jeeze Colin!" I scold, my hand clutching my chest as my racing heart starts to calm. "S-sorry. I was just worried." He apologises. "How is she?" He asks. "We've not heard anything more since I called you. They said it could be a little while whilst she has the different scans and x-rays." I reply.
"Where's Rose?" Colin asks when he notices it's just me and Laura in the waiting room. "With Lizzie. They're getting a bag together, so Y/n has some things with her. Rose is adamant about being here for her big sister." I explain, earning an aw from Laura. "I can ask your mom to come and collect her later and keep the kids over night until we know more." Colin suggests. "I think that'll be wise. Rose can see how Y/n is doing and head to mom's before bedtime." I agree.
Colin places a kiss to my head and moves to the other side of the room to call my mom and explain what has happened. She already has Cosmo today, so she's happy to take Rose too. Though she's concerned for her granddaughter too. I think Y/n is going to be spoilt when she's home.
When Colin joins us again, he takes the seat next to me and wraps a supportive arm around me. I move to rest my head on his shoulder, taking in his comfort. "She called me mom." I say quietly. "What was that?" Colin asks. "She called me mom. When she was on the field, she called me mom and then again in the ambulance and here in the hospital." I explain in more detail. "I'm sure it's just because she's in pain and on drugs but hearing her call me that, it made my heart almost burst." I share, my emotions building once again.
"She means it." Laura speaks up from beside me. Both Colin and I turn to look at her. "Yes, she's in pain and high right now. But she means it. This has just given her the outlet to be able to say it. You've given her a safe and loving environment. Yes, it's taken her a while to be able get to this point. But you never pushed her. I don't think you realise how much that means to her." She explains with a soft smile on her face.
"All I have wanted is to be the mother she deserves. I never thought that she would forgive me, let alone get to a point she could call me mom." I admit, tears welling up in my eyes. "Family of Miss Y/l/n?" A nurse enters the room and calls for us. The sound of Y/n's surname bringing me down for a moment. "You need to work on changing her name." Laura smirks at me as we stand and follow the nurse.
She takes us to a private ward where Y/n is laid in bed, her neck brace off. I breath a sigh of relief knowing there is no injury there. Laura rushes in first and carefully hugs Y/n, pressing a kiss to her lips. "I'm so glad you're ok. It was horrible seeing you out cold." She tells her, cupping her cheeks and gently rubbing her thumb over her cheek. "Did you win?" Y/n asks, making us laugh. "I see you have your priorities right." Laura chuckles. "And yes, we won 4-0." She adds on. "See you don't need me on the team." Y/n responds with a sad smile.
We all get comfortable and wait for the doctor to come in and tell us the severity of Y/n's injury. Laura sits on one side, holding Y/n's hand tightly, whilst Colin and I flank her on the other side. "Aren't you filming tonight?" Y/n asks Colin. "Not anymore, I have to been here for my daughter." He responds, his words causing a wide smile to appear on Y/n's face. "Thanks dad." Y/n responds, her eyes glossed over. "D-did you. Did you just..." Colin stutters in shock. Y/n nods, smiling nervously. "I hope you both don't mind me calling your mom and dad. My experience of parents hasn't a good one. I don't really know what a good mom and dad looks like. But I'm pretty sure it's the both of you. I've not been easy yet you've both been there for me, supporting me and loving me. Especially these last couple of weeks with the court case. To me you are my mom and dad." Y/n shares, making both Colin and I cry.
"Oh, my sweet girl. I have been waiting, hoping, you may one day see me as your mother. Hearing you call me mom, it's everything I could ask for." I reassure her as I hug her gently, placing a kiss to her head. Y/n then looks to Colin who's a blubbering mess, making us all laugh. "Like I said, I've seen you as my daughter from the beginning. Being your dad is an honour I'm glad you've allowed me to have." He expresses, getting up and hugging her also.
A clearing of a voice gets all of our attention, and our heads snap to see the doctor in the doorway a file in his hand. "Sorry to interrupt this moment, but I have Y/n's results." He explains. "Please come on in." Colin composes himself and moves back to his seat as the doctor enters the room.
"Ok, Y/n, having examined your scans, I'm happy to say there is no injury to your neck. Though you probably know that as we removed your brace." He starts off. "However, you do have a fractured eye socket, so that is going to look pretty nasty for a few weeks. There's not much we can do other than provide you pain relief and wait for it to heal." He explains and Y/n nods in understanding.
"Now, on to your leg." I feel Y/n's hand tense in my own as we wait to hear the damage. "You have a displaced transverse fracture to your tibia. This means that it's a complete break of the bone and the two parts are not aligned. In this instance, we will need to surgically realign your leg and put in some pins to secure the fracture, allowing it to heal effectively." The doctor explains, showing us the x-rays of Y/n's clearly broken leg.
Y/n's breath hitches at the news, tears filling her eyes. "Will I be able to play soccer again?" She asks, fear lacing her voice. At the vocalisation of her worries, Laura sits forward and holds her other hand tightly. "I have every confidence that with a successful surgery and physio, you'll be playing again." He responds with a smile. Y/n's whole body relaxes at the confirmation, but I know there is still one question on her mind. "How long until I can play again?" She asks him.
"You'll be in a cast for about 6 weeks and from there you'll start physio. I would guess that you could be back into light training within 8 weeks and playing within 10." He replies. "Wow, that's a long time." Y/n whispers, her head dropping. "You'd be back in time for playoffs." Laura tries to comfort her. "And we'll still need our captain. You're more than the player on the pitch Y/n." Laura reassures her, placing a kiss to her hand. She nods unsurely before the doctor goes into more detail about surgery and recovery.
She'll be going in for surgery in the morning as it's already late this evening. She has a temporary brace on her leg which will stop any more damage happening before they're able to surgically fix her leg. We thank the doctor who leaves us to it. "How are you feeling kiddo?" Colin asks, placing a hand on her uninjured leg. "10 weeks is a long time." She replies emotionlessly.
Soccer has been her saving grace these last two years. It's been an outlet whilst she's been going through so much, and it's suddenly taken away from her. I just hope that now she has a stable home, a loving girlfriend and family, that she won't lose herself.
A knock on the door gains our attention as we all giggle as we see Rose on her tiptoes trying to look through the window. I wave them in and Rose rushes to her sister's side. "Sissy! Are you ok?" Rose asks worriedly, trying to climb up onto the bed. Y/n leans forward to pick her up, but I tap her hand away and do it for her.
Rose is really careful as she sits next to Y/n staring at her now closed up eye. "I'm much better now my sister is here." She responds happily, a smile plastered on her face to hide her pain. "Auntie Lizzie told me that we can't bring your flowers, so I brought you chocolate instead. It's you're favourite." Rose shares, turning to Lizzie holding her hand out expectantly.
Lizzie chuckles and pulls out the chocolate bar from her bag and hands it's to Rose. "Yummy. Thank you, Rosie." Y/n responds, placing a kiss to her head. "That girl was mean. I hope she got told off and grounded for hurting you." Rose huffs snuggling into her sister. "Well, she was sent off and I can't imagine she'll get away without the ban being extended." Laura explains with an angry look on her face. I notice that Y/n reaches out and squeezes her hand in comfort, instantly calming down her fuming girlfriend.
"When can you come home?" Rose now asks as Lizzie makes herself comfortable. "We're not sure yet sweetie. Y/n has to have surgery tomorrow so probably a couple of nights." I explain, making Rose pout. "But I have school tomorrow." She complains. "That's ok Rosie. When I'm home we can have a movie day. Mom, dad, and Cosmo could join us too. What do you think?" Y/n suggests to help placate the 7 year old. "Can Laura come too?" Rose asks shyly. "Of course!" Y/n replies happily.
Lizzie's eyes go wide when she hears what Y/n called us as both Colin and I smile. Lizzie looks to me and I nod to confirm she heard correctly. "I'm happy for you." She mouths to me, not wanting to disturb the kids who are rambling about what movies to watch.
We spend the evening together, chatting and laughing. It's really nice, considering we're sat in a hospital room with my injured daughter laid up in bed. But as it hits 8pm, the nurse comes in and tells us that visiting hours are over. "Are you sure you're going to be ok on your own?" I ask Y/n, worried to leave her. "I can always talk to them about letting me stay." I offer but she shakes her head. "I'll be ok mom. I'm pretty tired so I'll probably get some sleep." She reassures me. "Ok, I'll have my phone on loud so if you need anything, just call or text ok. I can be here in 20 minutes." I tell her and she nods.
I bid her goodnight, leaving a soft kiss to her head, reminding her how much I love her. Colin does the same before picking up a sleepy Rose. We leave Y/n and Laura to have a moment before we all leave together. "Do you want me to drop Rose at your moms?" Lizzie offers, but I shake my head. "Thanks, but we'll go. I'd like to see Cosmo." I respond and she nods. "How about I drive you home. That way this lot can get back." Lizzie suggests turning to Laura.
She blushes at the attention making me smirk. She's totally fangirling right now! "Oh, you don't need to do that Ms Olsen." She declines. "Don't me stupid, come on. Besides it gives me a chance to get to know my niece's girlfriend." Lizzie insists, making Laura gulp a little. "Oh, and don't call me Ms Olsen. I'm not old. Please just call me Lizzie." She adds on, earning a slow nod from the teenager. We all walk out to the car park together and say our goodbyes before heading home.
__________
The next morning, Colin and I are at the hospital as soon as we're allowed so we can be with Y/n before she heads into surgery. She's in a lot of pain this morning and had a bad night sleep, which is horrible to see. I think she's grateful that she's going to be unconscious for a few hours whilst they fix her leg.
The surgeon comes in and talks through the procedure, though most of it goes over my head. I'm just grateful that it seems to be helping Y/n. The nurses are then in to prepare her before we walk with them as they wheel her to the operating floor. "We'll be right here when you wake. Rose and Laura will be here after school too, so you've got that to look forward to." I tell Y/n, hoping to comfort her when I see worry in her eyes. "We both love you very much. Everything is going to be just fine." Colin says, pressing a kiss to Y/n's head. "I love you both too. See you in a few hours." She smiles. I hold her close one last time and watch as they take her away. Colin wraps his arm around me to comfort me as we begin waiting for her to return.
Instead of waiting around in a cold room, we head to the cafeteria and have some breakfast. We both skipped it this morning, worried about Y/n. We talk about what we can do to make things easier for Y/n when she gets home. She's going to be reliant on us for a while and I want everything to be as easy as possible for her.
"Shit, we need to call Danny?" I suddenly say. "Why? You're not planning on suing the kid are you?" Colin jokes, making me roll my eyes. "No. But it's the court case in 9 days." I point out and he lets out a quiet "oh." I know she'll still be able to testify, but she's not exactly going to be very mobile and it's just something else to add on to a stressful period for her. "Danny will know what to do. He's always got Y/n's interests at heart. I'll call him when Y/n is out of surgery, and we'll leave him to deal with anything that needs doing." Colin reassures me.
After about three hours, we move back to Y/n's room to wait. They said surgery will be around 4 hours, and I we don't want to miss her coming back. We settle in and I makes sure her pyjamas are out as I know she'll want to change as soon as she can.
Half an our later a nurse comes by to say that surgery went well and she's just in post op now before they bring her back. I let out a sigh of relief knowing that everything is ok. We can focus on recovery.
Colin and I both crowd around Y/n when they bring her back in. She's still unconscious but the doctor said she should wake shortly. We take our seats either side of our daughter, holding her hands and taking comfort that she's back with us. When she starts to stir, I move to gently run my hands through her hair. "M-mom." She stutters at a whisper. "I'm here sweetheart. Colin is too." I greet her as her eyes flutter open.
I give her the biggest smile I can which she tries to return. Her head then flops to the side to see Colin. "Hey kiddo. Glad you're awake." Colin smiles to her. "Hi dad." She returns. I don't think either Colin or I are going to get used to that, but I will love hearing it every time. I will never take for granted any of my kids calling me mom.
The doctor comes in when Y/n is more with it, confirming that surgery went really well and that he's confident of a full and complete recovery. This relaxes Y/n and I notice that she's become determined to get fit so she can be ready for playoffs when they come around.
That afternoon Laura and Rose come to visit. Laura kindly picked Rose up from school for us. Mom is going to bring Cosmo around dinner time so we can have some family time together. But thankfully, the doctor confirmed that Y/n can come home with us tomorrow. I'm grateful that she won't be in this hospital for longer. I want my daughter home with us so we can all look after her. She's got a stressful few weeks ahead and we want to be by her side, supporting her, through all of it.

Goth Boss (8)

( could Bucky and Steve he terrified of how y/n looks since they are from a different time and seeing a goth girl for the first time scares them) (tony has a strained relationship with y/n as she grew up without him and he kept her secret)
Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7 | Part 8
Tony sighed as he basically melted into the couch, letting all the tension leave his body. She sat in her chair across from him watching him as he went through all his emotions and sunk further into his skin.
"What happened?"
"Why do you think something happened?"
"Because you called me for an emergency session at 9 a.m., and you look like you haven't slept. So tell me, what happened?" She said, clicking her pen.
"My daughter tried to commit suicide"
She couldn't help but flinch." Is she alright? Is she in the hospital?" she waited with bated breath for his answers.
"When she turned 14, she tried to hang herself, and on her 15 birthday, she overdosed, and at 16, she slit her wrist... Every year on her birthday, she tries to kill herself." As much as the scratching of her pen on her pad annoyed him, he ignored it. "I... Thought she would do it again this year. I was scared. So I went over there and I stayed outside just in case... This morning I watched her skip to school with her boyfriend."
Ms. Allen did all she could to not rub her hand over her face or sigh. This man was dumping a lot on her fortunately she was trained for this shit. So she put on her best face and got to work.
"You didn't know about any of this until recently, did you?"
"No"
"I'm about to ask that question you don't like"
"I know"
"How does all this make you feel?"
He groaned.

"We should do something," Peter said as he sat down joining the group with his lunch.
"Like what? And for what?" MJ asked looking at him suspiciously as she at her carrots.
"I don't know. Because (Y/n)'s 17, and we should celebrate that in some way." Now, everyone at the table was side-eyeing him. " Not a party, of course, but something. A dinner, a trip somewhere fun, anything you want to do. To celebrate you and have fun. I want to do something for you."
"Do we have to?" She groaned
"We should"
"Why do I feel like I don't actually get a say in if this happens or not?""
"You don't," MJ stated, already knowing Peter's intent.
"I just want you to have good memories about your 17th. Can we please make some?"
(Y/n) sighed she had given in to Peter long before he pleased. While she didn't want to parade herself, she did want to spend some time with her Boyfriend and their friends. She did wish to make some good memories. At least one good memory surrounds this time.
And if it was with Peter, the better.
"What should we do then? And not a party"
"You don't have enough friends for a party," MJ burnt her without looking up from her lunch.
"I need new friends"
"As long as you're dating him, you're stuck with us."
"Damn, " (Y/n) said, " It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make"
"WHAT?!"
-
"What's got your interest?" Lilly asked as she watched May text away. They were sitting in a cafe. Lilly had taken the day off for ... reasons(although they survived the night, she was still worried), and May had joined her. They were running errands and taking care of themselves.
"Peter wants to do something for (y/n) but doesn't know what"
"Like a date?" Now Lilly was interested. What mother didn't meddle in their child's love life.
"No, he wants to do something for her ...day. But doesn't know what. He's asking for ideas"
"When she was younger she used to dance, she loved it... How about he takes her to a ballet show? I can get tickets and then afterward we can all go to dinner."
"Really, are you sure?"
Any other time, she'd say no. It was far too expensive and luxurious for her family but ... (Y/n) deserved luxury even if it was just this once. She deserved it. All of it.
"Of course"
"Ballet tickets and dinner. Sounds a bit expensive"
One thing Stark was good for was money. Despite not being around, that man never missed a payment and often gave extra, and that was saying something as Lilly never asked for payment, and they never went to court. Hell, Tony's name wasn't even on the birth certificate.
Lilly never used the money he set to them; she was tempted at moments, but she never actually used it. In saying that, she had more than enough money sitting in the back of her closet for this. And maybe some new dresses too.
It was time she put his money to use.
"She deserves it."

Atlas "Sentinel" Osmerova backstory and headcanons
So I finally decided to give my OC a background story, which is kinda complicated so I'm just going to put the big lines here. There is also some headcanons on how she interacts with the rest of Shadow Co. and her personal life.
Background:
she was born in Vladivostok and has two older brothers who were already in the military when she was born.
her mother was very absent and uninvolved in her education.
her dad raised her in a military-like style because he didn't want a daughter.
when she was in 5th grade she got into a navy cadet class (cadet classes are a thing that lasts the child's whole education in Russia).
in 8th grade she was noticed as an excellent student and offered a transfer to an elite military school in Moscow, which she accepted.
she started coding at 6 and was fascinated by the dark web and more specifically the classified info that can be found there.
at 16 she knocked on the door of the FSB with a file that contained classified info from the Russian government and asked them to hire her because she was bored at school and knew she could do more.
they refused but offered her a position as soon as she graduated.
she was given a cyber-security degree from Moscow State University without ever going to university to make her employment look more legit.
she actually spent a year doing missions with the Spetsnaz as a form of field training. Afterward, most of her duties were centered around the FSB headquarters especially when she started rising in rank.
she got annoyed with the political bullshit and how it limited her range and freedom of action and left at 21yo.
she offered her services as an intelligence contractor on the dark web and met graves when he hired her for a job.
he hired her once, was impressed by her work and how she made sure the whole thing stayed quiet and hired her a second and then third time. Ultimately, he thought it would be a good idea to develop Shadow Co.'s intelligence by creating a designated department and offered her a leading position as it was safer than hiring someone he had never worked with.
Personal life and relationship with the rest of Shadow Company:
she has no contact with her family whatsoever and does not wish to contact them.
she functions solely on RedBull and spite.
she has a schizoid personality disorder and therefore does not have a very close relationship with the rest of shadow co., she is relatively close with 7-11 though and they banter daily.
even though she might seem distant from the rest of the shadows, she still gives off the "no one bullies my siblings but me" vibes and will kill anyone who messes with her guys.
she doesn't do any sex or romantic stuff but is an amazing cuddle buddy if you catch her at the right time and give her enough puppy eyes.
she doesn't really do any combat and people often assume she can't fight at all. Little do they know, she has been able to kill a fully armored soldier with her bare hands since she was 15 and is one of the most dangerous snipers to ever live. The shadows have bets going about her kill count, which only Graves knows.
her lack of empathy due to her mental illness makes her the voice of reason in any and all situations, which can be crucial during missions that take a bad turn.
she knows everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, like a shadow comes up to her like "Hey, have you seen my-" and she immediately goes "In the gymnasium.", or when someone starts telling her an anecdote about someone and she's like "I already knew that" even though said anecdote happened like 30 secs ago and she wasn't even there when it happened. She also knows a lot of stuff that is definitely some of the most classified shit on earth but no one mentions it.
she has 50 backup plans and is creating more by the second.
knows some of the more elaborate torture techniques to ever exist and will not hesitate to use them if need be.
her lack of facial expressions makes it impossible for people to know what she is feeling, even the shadows have a hard time guessing her emotions (if she even feels any).
probably the most blunt and honest person in the company.
she goes by her callsign most of the time and Graves is the only one to call her by her first name when he feels like he has a death wish.
she is fluent in French, Russian, ASL, FSL, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, German, RSL and Mandarin. (and obviously English)
she is semi-verbal and uses sign language when she doesn't feel like talking.
I don't have any other ideas right now but if you'd like to know how she would react to certain situations let me know and I will add it.

First date | Elizabeth Olsen
Summary: the first date but not their first date
Pairing: Elizabeth Olsen x male reader
Warning: little bit suggestive at the end, mentions of having sex and Y/N being overprotective and old schooled daddy~
Tumblr media
Elizabeth's pov
"Have you told him?" I look at Ellie and smile. She is so worried that Y/N wont allow her to go on that date she is so looking forward to. Secretly I'm worried too. I mean Eddie is dating since he is 16 and Y/N is ok with it, but this is his daughter and eventhough Ellie is nearly 17, to him she is still a little girl. Thank God he is strictly anti-gun because otherwise I could totally picture him sitting on the porch and cleaning his gun when the poor boy arrives.
"I will tell him now. I'll be back in a couple of minutes" I give her a another smile and make my way to our room. I knock and get in. He is on the phone so I decide it is best to bring him in a good mood. I walk around the desk and curl up in his lap. He smiles down at me and finishes his call.
"Why Mrs. L/N did you miss me while l was in here" he says with a sexy smirk and even after nearly 20 years of beeing married this particular smirk makes me squirm a little. "I miss you whenever I'm not with you but actually we need to talk."
"What have the kids done now" I giggle when he looks annoyed because every discussion about the kids starts with 'we need to talk'.
"Well they are all good, but there is something Ellie wanted to tell you but she was a little worried of your reaction so she asked me to tell you."
"Tell me what?"
"There is a nice boy in her school and he asked her on a date. She would really like to go, you know eat at a diner go to the movies maybe they go to the pool hall after that a typical teenie date." Y/N gapes at me and next he get's up with me in his arms, plops me down on his chair and starts to pace in our room while he runs both hands through his hair. Crap thats not good.
"Liz, baby, she is a child, she is way to young for a date. The answer is no!" he says with finality in his voice but I'm not going to let him ruin this for Ellie.
"Y/N, Ellie is almost 17 she is not a little girl anymore, Besides Eddie is dating since he is 16 don't you think that this is double standard." he glares at me and when I first met him that look would have made me cringe but now I glare back at him.
"Elizabeth that's different Ellie is a girl and I know what teenage boys want and they won't do that with any of my daughters. I mean imagine we let her go and two months from now she tells us she is pregnant. I'm not ready to be a grandpa" Ok thats ridiculous and I roll my eyes at him.
"First Ellie is not the kind of girl who has sex on the first date and second she is on the pill..."
"WHAT?" Y/N damn near screams and now I do cringe. Shit I never told him. "Lizzie why is our daughter on the pill. Is there something I don't know?"
"Y/N please calm down. I haven't told you about this because Ellie was so embarrassed that she had to tell me that she made me promise not to tell anyone else. A year ago she told me that she had really bad cramps when ever she got her period. So I took her to Dr. Greene and she told us that this is very common for young girls and that the pill could help. So we tried and it worked. This has nothing to do with birthcontroll for Ellie."
"Oh really, last time I checked the pill was birthcontroll. If she has cramps than she can take painkillers or take hot bath."
"Y/N please I don't want my daughter to take painkillers five days every month, thats not exactly healthy and Ellie knows that if she wants to have sex, she has to tell the boy to use a condom."
"You had the talk with her?"
"Of course I had 'the talk' with her. I don't want to be a grandma either. Well not right now. And do you want to know what she told me. Ellie told me that she would wait with sex until she knows she has found the right guy. She is very mature for her age, but we have to give her some space. It's one date and I already told her that she could not go without Ryan following her and you know what, she is ok with that as long as he doesn't sit at her table while dinner or in the same row in the cinema. So the worst that could happen is that they are holding hands or kiss..."
"Kiss" Y/N gasps and I have to stiffe a smile because he looks shocked. "Yes Y/N teenagers do kiss."
"Not my daughter she is too young!" Oh Y/N!
"Y/N we have to let her make her own expirience and I'd rather she asks us and we can meet the boy than her telling us she is going to friends house and meeting someone behind our backs. Besides all her friends are already dating and Ava she has her third boyfriend already"
"Well she is Collin's and Scar's daughter that was to be expected" Y/N mutters petulantly. "Come on baby I know this is hard on you but remember we have two more daughters and they will all start to date eventually see it as practice" I say with a smirk and he walks over to the desk again picks me up, sits down and puts me back in his lap.
"Fine, I want to meet the little fucker and if I don't like him they are staying here where I can watch him. Wait why don't we go with them?" Ok now I'm laughing. "You can't be real Y/N we can't go with them Ellie would die of embarrassment cuz everyone in school would make fun of her and you know how paparazzi is, they will follow us and it will be lot of trouble"
"Why?" he looks at me like this is a serious question and I think he is really thinking of doing it. "Because no teenage girl wants a double date with her parents how would you have felt if your parents wanted to go on a date with you and a girl you liked?"
"I would have felt that they are very responsable and-" I hold both hands up to stop him "Oh please you would have not felt like that. Look we agreed she can go once we met him so I'm going to tell her that he should come here to pick her up on friday and you can call Ryan now and talk to him." I kiss him quickly and leave our room before he can change his mind though I really hope that Ryan can talk some sense into my constantly worried husband.
Friday evening (Ellie's date night)
I sit in the family room and sip on my wine while looking lovingly at my poor husband. Thank god our younger kids are staying at my parent's house tonight so he can only drive himself and me crazy. He has called Ryan every day since I told him about the date on sunday, Actually I was ready to tell Ellie to go on her date on tuesday just to get this over with. Poor Ryan by now Y/N has compiled a 5 pages long list with things he has to watch and of course Y/N told him that he would be fired if Ellie gives him the slip or if they have sex.
Louis, my husband's dear manager is a wreck too because he was trying to convince Y/N that it was not possible to run a background check on everyone who will be in the diner or the cinema. Of course that wasn't safe enough for my darling control freak so now he has a deal with the manager of the cinema that no matter which movie they want to watch, the will watch it alone.
"Of course Ellie nearly threw a fit when she heard that but I calmed her down and also talked Y/N out of renting a diner for the evening as well as that would have been just too much. Jeez he was never that crazy with Eddie, but than again Eddie is just like Y/N, he looks just like him and he shares Y/N's interest in martial arts so he knows how to defend himself. I mean I don't want anything to happen to Ellie either but I think she needs to make her own mistakes to learn from them and besides Ellie also knows how to defend herself as Y/N had all of our kids go to several safety trainings and they all have security following them so there is no way that boy could harm Ellie. Ryan would rather shoot the kid than let anything happen to Ellie or our other kids Kylie, Grace and Matthew.
I'm interrupted from my thoughts when Ellie appears in the family room wearing a lovely light pink dress with the pumps I borrowed her. Her blond curls are tied back in a high ponytail and she looks so pretty.
"Do I look ok??" she asks a little shy and Y/N steps forward. "You can't go out like that. No way no dress or skirt go change into pants" he says and I get up too. "You look lovely sweetie. I really like the dress, don't listen to your Dada he is just worried."
"Fuck liz she can't wear a dress it's to easy to grab feel of her."
"Daddy!" Ellie pipes deathly embarrassed. "Damien would never do that. He is a nice boy. Please, please don't embarrass me I really like him" she begs wringing her hands and Y/N sighs. "Fine where is the fu- umm guy" he corrects himself and just than Taylor announces Master Damien Hamilton- Ellie's date.
We all look expectantly to the hallway and I have to stiffle a giggle when a boy who is at least 3 or 4 inch smaller than Ellie comes in and nearly falls over his own feet Oh dear, the poor boy is shaking. He has floppy black hair, his shirt is a little wrinkled and he looks deathly pale and stares wide eyed at us.
"Mom, Dad this is Damien." Ellie says and I swear Y/N is biting the insides of his cheeks when Ellie pushes the poor boy further into the room.
"Mr L/N, Mrs L/N it's a- a ple- pleasure to meet you" he stutters and holds his hand out to shake. Poor boy has sweaty palms and now Y/N is smirking, " Well Damien it is nice to meet you too, I do hope you will treat my daughter with respect" Y/N says and the boy nods wide eyed when we all sit down though he stands frozen to the spot in the room. "Sit" Ellie snaps and obediently he sits. Wow she really is her father's daughter so dominant.
"So Damien tell me in what activities are you involved in school." Y/N asks and the boy takes a deep breath. "I'm in the debatting and chess club and also part of the math athletes I'm not that good in sports, Sir." he says and actually he looks a little bit like a nerd but in a cute kind of way.
"I see and what do your parents do for a living?" I ask hoping this will be enough information for Y/N. "My father is working as software developer and my mom is a lab assistant Ma'am"
"We need to go now. Come" Ellie says suddenly and he follows her like a puppy out of the room, while we walk out behind them and watch as they get into his car and drive of with Ryan following them in one of the SUV's.
I close the front door and look at Y/N expectantly. "I like the boy, yes Ellie can date him." he smirks then stalks over to me, picks me up so I'm hanging over his shoulder and gives me a firm slap on my ass making me yelp.
"Now that we are alone Mrs. L/N I think you have to keep me occupied until Ellie is back home." he says in a seductive voice and I grin. "Why Mister L/N I'd like that very much." and with that he carries me into our bedroom where I keep him occupied in our very special way.
