The 1969 Citroën DS Limousine is a standout example of French automotive innovation, featuring an hydropneumatic suspension system, that allowed the car to have an adjustable ride height and unparalleled comfort. This made it incredibly smooth on rough roads, and the limousine version was designed for an even more refined and plush ride. It blended elegance, advanced technology, and comfort and the limousine version took its design and luxury to a whole new level.

It set new standards in ride quality, handling, and braking being the first mass production car equipped with hydropneumatic suspension; AS WELL as hydraulic disc brakes on all 4 wheels adding superior stopping power and safety AS WELL as hydraulic power steering too. The limo series 3 also introduced directional headlights to a mass-produced car. Penned by designer Flaminio Bertoni and the French aeronautical engineer André Lefèbvre styled and engineered the car, and Paul Magès developed the exceptional hydropneumatic self-levelling suspension.
• The 1969 Citroën DS Limousine typically used the same engine found in the regular DS models, a 2.0L or 2.1L inline-4 engine that put out around 90-105 horsepower, reaching top speed around 120-130 km/h (75-80 mph), which was fairly decent for a luxury car of its size in the late 1960s.

Sometimes I wish we would start calling out the performative radicalism on this site for the poser bullshit it is. "Remember, it's always morally correct to kill a cop!" "Don't forget to firebomb your local government office!" "Wow, it sure would be a shame if these instructions on how to make a molotov cocktail got spread around!"
Okay. But you're not killing cops or firebombing government offices. You are posting on a dying microblogging website to a carefully-curated echo chamber that has radicalized itself into thinking that taking the absolute most extreme position on any subject is praxis but that anyone discussing the most practical way to effect actual change is your sworn enemy. You do not have the street cred OR the activist cred to be talking about killing cops, babe.

be busy. busy not checking messages. busy reading those books you never started or finished. busy having a good night of sleep. busy taking care of yourself and your skin. busy moving your body. busy helping your community. busy reflecting on your life and what you can improve. busy doing things aside from the capitalistic viewpoint of “productivity.” busy slowing down.

the ability to see more beauty in the world is a skill. the more beauty you see, the more comes to you, the more you create yourself. so much of the disempowerment people feel is because they are trained to see the ugly and negative in everything. you have to unpick your mind from the lure of negativity and train yourself to find beauty. if you want a beautiful life, it starts with learning to find the beauty everywhere.

Self-Leveling Concrete: The Easy Route to Flat Floors
Self-leveling concrete is a pourable concrete mix that smooths itself out, creating a perfectly flat surface for installing tile, flooring, or other coverings. Unlike traditional concrete, it requires less water, cures quickly, and is easier to work with, making it a popular choice for DIY and professional projects.

how to level up during the winter arc
winter arc ; oct to jan
1. build a strong routine - examples: wake up immediately and journal, don't scroll in the morning, meditate, drink 1 glass of water
2. create realistic goals - be more practical. when we set big goals and they don't happen we brush them off and say 'i'll just do it next week' hence delaying action
3. visualize - visualize how the highest person of yourself looks like
4. be consistent - wake up at the same time, be consistent, and don't scroll when you wake up, just take action everyday ! things don't just happen overnight
5. habit stacking - habit stacking follows a simple formula of "when i do [current habit], i will do [new habit]." for example: "when i drink my coffee in the morning, i will listen to an educational podcast."
6. use habit trackers/to-do lists
7. don't give up when your day isn't perfect - be flexible and understand that not everything has to be checked off, life happens
8. don't go through hardcore restrictions - since it's festival season, there are chances that you might not be able tick off some habits but that's okay !
9. listen to your body - do what you feel is best for you, don't beat yourself up if you aren't able to do something
Tumblr media
let go of the feelings you've had in the past year, "i wish i did this" blah blah. don't beat yourself over it. just move forward. why keep waiting for tomorrow when you can start today? show up for yourself. why do i want to achieve this goal? it has to be for you.
just. start. now.

stop ignoring yourself. fix your posture, get a fresh haircut, drink water, take care of your skin, eat food that gives you energy, declutter your space, take time to rest, workout, do mindful meditation, fix your sleep schedule. when you feel/look good, you do good. invest in yourself, put the effort you deserve.
