you can go the angst route with Moony being heartbroken (and confused why) when he subconsciously recognises Padfoot's smell; with sirius resorting to such desperate cries for help trying to get a hold of him somehow, deep down knowing its fruitless!!!

It's understandable to be frustrated, but I feel you are not understanding that these events are submission-based. The event only contains books that the authors submitted to participate in the event. They can't showcase books that weren't submitted. If an author with a queer book doesn't submit their book to the coordinator, then their book (queer) will not be in the event.

I am talking like Mojo Jojo in case it makes the situation clearer.

On George’s disdain for Xina upon meeting her I’m 90% sure he specifically invokes Stark-Fujikawa as well, or more specifically that he’d expect people “like her” to be at a place influenced/run by them

George is ofc the stereotypical mf who cannot for the life of him discern something what isn't white, hands down.

[What's interesting is by the wording of their convo, Stark-Fujukawa is predominantly run by asian people yes, but not all inclusive I guess. (I feel like it's like exclusively or mostly japanese corp given all cultural/imperial beef japan did have with its neighbors + the sole futuristic japan vibes, but writers probably didn't go that deep), and the point that asian people are still widely unrepresented or presented in an unsafe environments aka downtown, whilst hightown is...well, what it is.]
