Do you ever think about the fact that Sirius Black was so mentally strong that despite being imprisoned in Azkaban for 12 years; 12 years basically in solitary confinement because he’s hardly chatting to the Voldy crowd; and we are told he was ONE OF THE MOST HEAVILY GUARDED in the entire prison - despite all this, During Fudge’s visit to Azkaban, Sirius casually asked if he could have Fudge's newspaper (since he missed doing the crossword), which the unnerved Minister handed over?
Because I do.
And do you ever think about the fact that despite surviving 12 years of hell, then other stuff like eating rats in a cave and risking getting his soul sucked out by Dementors, the only time we see Sirius Black in a bad way is when he is stuck in Grimmauld Place for the first time since he ran away as a 16 year old. Stuck there reliving old memories and old losses and unable to help Harry (his whole raison d’être), drinking and low in mood. He gives Buckbeak his mother’s old room (does he want Buckbeak to ruin it or an excuse to go into it, Probably both) and leaves Regulus’ room completely untouched, unchanged, like a shrine to his ‘idiot, too soft’ baby brother?
Because I do.

Them taking u to their dorm in the middle of the night
❥Tom
Tumblr media
Tom would suffer a lot from the separation, in fact this evening he stayed for hours looking at the ceiling trying to sleep.
He started missing you a lot, plus he had a stressful day because of Voldy, and he needed to calm down.
Tom went to your room and opened the door slowly trying not to make smoke so as not to wake you.
Once inside, he picked you up gently, holding you next to him in a protective mood, to prevent you from waking up.
Once you got to his room, he would lay you down comfortably, making sure you were comfortable. He would never admit it but he has a soft spot for you.
After 10 minutes next to you, Tom would fall asleep.
Y/n's pov
I woke up and noticed that I was in a different dormitory, initially I panicked and started to get up, but an arm held me back. In fact, even while he was sleeping, Tom remained attentive and on guard. Immediately afterwards I heard a voice in my ear, his... unmistakable. "hey darling, it's me, don't worry"
❥Mattheo
Tumblr media
Mattheo has had a really bad evening since his father forced him to kill dozens of innocent muggles, and he regrets it very much.
He's currently in his dorm feeling like crap, staring at the ceiling and the sky out the window, feeling like a monster.
He misses you, but even though he wanted to come to you, he couldn't even get up, he felt horrible.... like his father.
After too much time spent staring at the stars and thinking he was worthless, thinking about all the lives and dreams of innocent people he had shattered, he was about to collapse.
He walked towards your dorm and opened it quietly, not wanting to make any noise, he felt bad enough already, and he didn't want to ruin your sleep too.
So, he got into bed next to you, facing you, but he wasn't very close, he didn't want to touch you, not after killing so many people.... he didn't want to touch your innocence with his monster hands.
Even though the urge to hold you tight grew, he couldn't do it, you deserved better than someone like him, he thought.
Y/n's pov
after a few minutes I woke up. I saw a figure a little distraught due to sleep. "Theo?" I asked to check if it was him.
"I'm sorry, love. I didn't mean to wake you up..." Mattheo said with a broken voice.
"no no it's ok" I said looking at him and guessing something was wrong.
I hugged him tightly and hugged him, he was uncertain about returning the hug, since he didn't want to 'infect you' but you continued to hug him, knowing that in some moments that hug would mean more than a thousand words and that perhaps he didn't want to talk about it.
After a few seconds, Mattheo broke down and cried.
"I- I don't deserve you" Mattheo said.
"what are you saying matty? i love u"
"no- no you could have someone else... better than a monster" Mattheo said sobbing
"I don't care about others if you're there, and you're not a monster, you're the boy I love, Matthew Riddle"
❦If you want, these days I will add the others too

the amount of grooming at hogwarts was genuinely wild
Not only did voldy recruit a fourth of the school to be his death eaters, dumbledore himself recruited another quarter to be his minions in his little order of the phoenix.
On top of that, random teachers like lockhart and slughorn (to a lesser extent, but still) groomed students to their own social benefits.
Like i get it, there's a war going on, but damn you're ruining children's lives here 😭

Hi! Love your answers and fics 💕
I would love to ask a fic with reader being a bff's with Ginny or Ron and the twins not really liking her but being forced to share a tent with her while camping (yes, one bed trope in nature with enemies to lovers twist 🙏🏻) , hope you like this idea, love ya!
Hi my love! You know I’m a slut for the one bed (tent?) trope but with their ages in the timeframe I tried to keep it a little PG (and failed miserably) 😂 I’m so very sorry this took so long to get out, I hope you enjoy! 🖤
Warnings: sexual themes and references, enemies to lovers, confessions of love, humour, Fred being an absolute menace, George is the sweet one as usual. Set during a slightly canon-altered Quidditch World Cup (no mentions of mouldy voldy or the attack)
Word count: 1.3k
Tumblr media
Deepest Sleepers.
You didn't know where your dislike for the Weasley Twins had stemmed from, but it seemed to be completely mutual. Perhaps it was the fear of being the recipient of a prank, maybe it was their constant overbearing nature, their natural ability to be the centre of attention at all times- all of which was indisputably annoying. You just couldn't relax around them or let your guard down, which you supposed was the overall reason that you'd never been friendly. They also seemed to take an instant dislike to you almost as soon as you became friends with their younger siblings, though what possessed them not to like you was a slight mystery. They largely ignored you but you’d often catch them glaring at you or doing their very best to look away and avoid you entirely, until you became a prime target for their pranks once or twice.
You'd been so excited to attend the Quidditch World Cup, even though you didn't have the biggest passion for the sport, it was going to be the highlight of your summer, attending the world cup with your best friends. Arthur had been so kind to invite you, Harry and Hermione along but you couldn't deny that your enthusiasm wavered slightly when you realised that Fred and George would also be joining you. You thought they might have broken away at some point, causing havoc wherever they chose to go but much to your annoyance, they had stayed firmly within the group the entire time from the moment you left the Burrow at the crack of dawn until you finally reached the campsite.
So how you found yourself sharing a tent with the two of them was a complete, unfortunate mystery.
Furthermore, how you ended up between the two of them in the tent with their lips kissing every inch of your skin and their big hands wandering your body was even more of a mystery the wisest auror wouldn’t be able to figure out.
Mere hours ago after the World Cup had finished, you’d contemplated casting a protective enchantment around yourself regardless of the underage magic law, claiming it was self defence or self preservation so you didn’t end up with a face full of boils, blue hair or no eyebrows courtesy of one of their ‘pranks’. Now, those thoughts were long gone as George turned your head towards him with his finger tucked beneath your chin, his lips chasing yours as Fred slips behind you, not hiding the evidence of his arousal against your backside. It was like a tug of war between them with you being the toy in the middle; a constant divide of attention and affection.
You break away from George to gasp out a sorely needed breath and take a second to look into his eyes, seeing his dark, fixed gaze upon you. You don’t doubt that Fred would be wearing an identical gaze but you couldn’t bring yourself to turn around to check for yourself.
“I don’t understand,” you say breathlessly, knowing that you were almost definitely going to ruin the moment but you couldn’t deny your need for answers. “I thought you hated me.”
You hear Fred snort from behind you, a sort of involuntary noise that escapes him as soon as he hears your words.
“If this is your idea of hate, I’d love to see how you think someone who loved you would act,” he mumbles, pulling your hair away from your neck to press butterfly light kisses to your neck, making your eyes close on their own accord. But you fight to keep them open, to implore George with your eyes so he’ll give you a straight answer.
“Never hated you,” he says with the hint of a frown, as if he’s offended by the notion. His hand slips to reach down for your hand , entwining his long fingers with your own and you can’t help but glance down, marvelling at the size difference between your hands. Fred pulls on your shoulder gently, sensing that you wouldn’t give in to him without answers and pulls you down until you’re laying on your back, free to look between them.
“You see princess,” he explains, “Georgie and me made a pact that you were out of bound for both of us. Both fancied you like mad.” His hand cradles your hip whilst George keeps a gentle but firm grip on your hand, thumb swiping delicately over your knuckles.
“Thought that if you showed an interest in either of us, then we’d know who you preferred.”
“But you didn’t seem to like either of us.”
“So then the pranks started. Figured any attention from you was better than none.”
“I had pink hair for weeks!” You interjected, still simmering with annoyance.
“Honestly? I thought that if you looked different maybe I’d stop getting a hard-on every time I looked at you,” he says with a smirk, “didn’t work. Quite the opposite actually.”
You nudged him with your shoulder, causing him to drop down onto the makeshift cot beneath you all, earning a hearty laugh from him and his twin.
“You set this up didn’t you?” You break the silence with a gasp, realising that it wouldn’t be a coincidence that you’d been relegated to the small tent whilst the other guests were all sharing the big, much more comfortable tent.
The shy smile that George shoots you, mixed with his slightly pink cheeks tells you everything you needed to know.
“Might have pulled a few strings,” he mumbles through his sudden onset shyness.
“But if dad asks, you snore like a roaring Zouwu and we just so happen to be the deepest sleepers.”
“Fred!”
“We’re just so selfless, couldn’t have you disturbing the others could we?” He teases, tickling your hip.
“Yes it definitely feels like you’re being selfless,” you say with a smirk, rolling your hips to brush your ass against his still very obvious erection, earning a deep groan from him.
“So you don’t hate us?” George asks somewhat nervously, his hand slightly squeezing yours so your attention is diverted away from his very tempting twin.
“Could have done without the pink hair,” you argue, stating your point, “but I don’t hate you.”
“Elaborate,” Fred urges, his hand resting on your hip again, a sudden uncharacteristic nervousness hovering in his voice.
You sigh, knowing that you’d ruined it now.
“You both just make me nervous, like I’ll never know why you’re going to do next,” you say, averting your eyes slightly.
“Well if you want a full commentary of what I intend to do, I’d be happy to oblige,” Fred smirks, running his hands over your body, purposefully manipulating your answer.
“Fred,” you groan, half annoyed and half tempted.
“No more pranks,” George says suddenly, making your eyes flash to him. “Not on you.”
“Agreed,” Fred says suddenly, pressing his rather impressive tent to the curve of your bum as he shuffles closer. “At least now we can double down on the blokes trying to talk to her.”
“That was why Cormac fainted in the hallway on the way to Potions?!” You gasp, suddenly piecing it all together, realising they were the perpetrators all along.
“Your ours,” Fred says simply with a shrug, as if there’s no reason to argue.
“If that’s what you want,” George adds, throwing a quick but powerful glare at his brother.
“Wouldn’t want anyone else.”

The Horcrux connection is double-edged
Alternate title: the fanfic trope of Voldemort seeing into Harry's mind the way Harry sees into his is canon
Alternate alternate title: more notes from my Deathly Hallows reread
So I reached my favorite scene in the books when it comes to analyzing Voldemort and his personality — the moment in Godric's Hollow that Harry sees the night his parents died from Voldy's eyes. But, here I specifically wanna mention this part from immediately after Harry sees his parents murder:
“No,” he moaned. The snake rustled on the filthy, cluttered floor, and he had killed the boy, and yet he was the boy. . . “No. . . ”
(DH, 345)
The part I highlighted shows Harry seeing into Voldemort’s mind in the same time Voldemort is seeing into his like some crazy loop until (probably) Voldemort breaks it.
This is a moment is essentially Harry seeing Voldemort's memory of his own death, while Voldemort is witnessing his own memory and also his memory through Harry and also the actual room they are in, seen from both of them, at the same time, in Voldemort's mind that Harry is seeing into. This feedback loop could probably get crazy if Voldy let it.
So, Voldemort can canonically see into Harry's thoughts on occasion, at least when he isn't blocking it. Now I have to wonder what sort of things did he see? How didn't he know where Harry was throughout book 7? We know Harry wasn't using Occlumency...
(Maybe he chose not to go into Harry's mind, maybe, he was there, saw that Harry was camping in the woods, starving and being so boring that he didn't bother checking up on him because he had better things to do...)
But seriously, I think Voldemort could know where Harry was if he really wanted to track him down. Sure, they warded their encampment, but, I don't believe for a second Voldemort couldn't break through their wards if he really wanted to (well, maybe not Harry's, but, that's a maybe). So, I think Voldemort wasn't really putting all his effort into locating Harry before he had the Elder Wand so he could kill him like he wanted to. Sure, if Harry appeared where he posted Nagini to wait for him, yeah, he'd go to kill him, but he won't pursue actively before he knows for sure he could deal the killing blow and amend his one failure, the one moment he became nothing, in his own words:
And then he broke; He was nothing, nothing but pain and terror, and he must hide himself, not here in the rubble of the ruined house, where the child was trapped and screaming, but far away. . . far away. . .
(DH, 345)
Another quite from this section I'd like to dwell on that has nothing to do with the above is this one:
She had no wand either. . . . How stupid they were, and how trusting, thinking that their safety lay in friends, that weapons could be discarded even for moments. . . .
(DH, 344)
I think Voldy here is telling us exactly what he thinks about friendship. Yes, he calls his followers "friends," but friends to him are something very different than they are to most people. They are not to be trusted, not to be counted upon. They are meant for company and obedience to him. Damn. Tom really needs to learn the power of friendship.

The sky was a blueish-gray, and endless dark clouds circled the sky like vultures, eating away at any rays of sunshine that might've pushed its way through. The world around you was that same blueish-gray, with a thick coating of dust, dirt, and grime that wafted into the air with every tired step that you took. The school, the place you had come to find as your second home - a home away from home - was in ruin. The tension in the air was dense, almost suffocating as you held Draco's hand tightly in yours; your wand gripped securely in the other. After the first initial fight, you were bruised and battered, but never once did you leave Draco's side.
You had been inseparable ever since the end of your fourth year together. Before then, you and Draco butted heads, he verbally bullied you, embarrassed you, and called you terrible names based on your blood status. You, on the other hand, were quite quiet, but you didn't hesitate to stand up for yourself. You were both stubborn to a fault, neither of you allowing the other to win in these little verbal fights you both had in the halls. It wasn't until after the end of your third year that you realized how much you cared about Draco Malfoy. It was a bittersweet realization, because, well, it was Draco, and you couldn't help but feel guilty over it - seeing as he used to bully you, and your friends; the Golden Trio.
In October of your fourth year, you noticed a slight change in the Slytherin. He wouldn't make any nasty comments towards you when you passed each other down the hall, and he'd even stop his so-called friends from saying anything to you or about you as well. You were beginning to think he was growing soft, or growing up. And Draco surprised you further by asking you to the Yule Ball later in December. You had begun to see the sensitive, sweet boy beneath that arrogant exterior, and you decided to give him a chance. And from then on, you and Draco grew closer than ever before.
From little dates in the Astronomy Tower, sitting together during shared classes, conversations during free periods near the lake, and even sneaking out past curfew for sharing snacks and kisses; you and Draco became inseparable. You found comfort in his presence, and you could tell that he felt the same way about you. And by the end of your fifth year, Draco asked you to be his girlfriend.
You met Draco's parents not long after, his father insisted that you come, wanting to know everything about the girl that distracted his son from his studies, as it were. Supper at the Malfoy Manor was uncomfortable and awkward. Draco's father was stern and cold, while Draco's mother was polite, and asked pleasant questions; she seemed to have liked you. One thing that puzzled you during that dinner though was that Draco had told you beforehand that his father would never let him have a relationship with someone who wasn't pure of blood. Sadly, his father’s prejudice on your blood status was one of the things that tried to drag you and Draco apart. So why did Lucius Malfoy allow you to continue dating his son? Why did he look you in the eye and almost reluctantly say that you could continue seeing his son? What did you do? What did you say that would warrant such a strange response from a man who held such high expectations for his son? Or... Most importantly, what did he know? What did he know about you? You should've known that something else was simmering behind those malicious gray eyes of his.
Lucius Malfoy knew your secret, and he was going to use it against you; which led to the scariest night of your life.
"I know who you are," You immediately tensed up upon hearing his voice... All you wanted was just some tea.
Turning around, you looked up at the man at the entrance of the kitchen, his long platinum-blonde hair and pale skin stood out against his all-black attire. "Pardon me?" You spoke up, holding the warm mug in your hands, your tea steaming.
Lucius entered the room, slowly, almost as if he was stalking his next prey, which was you. "You are fourth in line to the throne."
At that, you paused, your eyes narrowing slightly, "I don't think I know what you are speaking of, Mr. Malfoy." You replied coolly, taking a sip of your tea.
He smirked, stepping forward another two steps, sweeping a few strands of his hair over his shoulder with a simple swish of his hand, "You're the Princess of Wales."
You scoffed, shaking your head as if his statement was ridiculous, "A princess? Really?"
His smirk fell at your light laughter, "I may despise your kind, but I know well enough of the royal family. And you, Miss L/N, are one of them."
"I'm not a princess, I'm not royalty, and I never was." Ending the conversation as you turned around, facing the counter once more, but you didn't hear him leave.
"Hmm," He hummed, the click-clack of his cane hitting the marble floor made a shiver run down your spine, "It would be such a pity if the Dark Lord got hold of you, my dear."
You sighed, rolling your eyes, "I highly doubt that he would ever take an interest in me, and I assure you, I am just a simple Muggle-born." Turning, you gave the man one last look, "I don't care for your disdainful looks, nor your rude words, and I don't care for your threats, either. If you want to get rid of me, then go right ahead, but you'll regret it. Now, if you'll excuse me, your son and I are going to enjoy our evening." You turned back around, leaving the kitchen without another word.
"And what if I told Draco? Hmm?" He called out to you, turning to watch you leave out into the hall, "I would watch what I say and do carefully."
Your heart pounded in your chest, your palms sweaty. You didn't answer him, instead, you continued walking.
~~~
As Voldemort walked forward, his horde of followers trailing behind him, you spotted Hagrid with Harry in his arms. Your grip on Draco's hand tightened as Voldemort came to a stop, his loyal serpent beside him. Your free hand held onto Draco’s arm, your cheek digging into his shoulder at the sound of Ginny's screams.
"Stupid girl. Harry Potter is dead. From this day forth, you put your faith in me." Voldemort exclaimed before turning to his followers with a large grin. "Harry Potter is dead!" He laughed, laughed before continuing, "And now is the time to declare yourself." He stretched his arms out wide, "Come forward and join us..." He paused, "... Or die." His words seemed to echo throughout the grounds, as Lucius called for Draco, followed by his mother, Narcissa.
You tightened your hold on Draco's hand and arm, digging your cheek further into the fabric of his dark, black suit. You began to mutter over and over again, pleading, begging for Draco not to leave your side. Looking up, your eyes met him, his stormy gray eyes that held so much anguish and fear. You bit your lip, trying to quell the tears that threatened to spill.
"Draco!" His father tried once more, more commanding as if he was scolding the young man, Draco's eyes left yours to stare at his parents as his mother took a step forward.
"Come." She said softly, simply, and you began to panic when you felt Draco's hand twitch slightly in your tight hold.
Raising the hand from his arm, you gently cupped his cheek, moving his head to look back at you. "Draco, please," You pleaded, your eyes searching his face, "Please, don't go."
His eyes softened at the sight of your pained expression, "I'm sorry," He whispered to you, making your eyes widen as he slowly slipped out of your hold.
"No, no, Draco!" You called out to him, watching in horror as he made his way to the other side, but not before being engulfed in the Dark Lord's arms in an attempt to hug.
Tears fell freely from your eyes as you felt Luna place a hand on your shoulder, her comfort coming only a moment too late. You stood there, almost a shell of your former self, watching as Neville slowly limped his way forward, and for a moment, you thought you lost another great friend to the dark side as they laughed and laughed. But, from his speech and at the glint of the Gryffiondor sword, you felt a flicker of hope burn within you as Harry sprung to life, practically leaping out of Hagrid's arms. And imagine your surprise when you watched Draco - your Draco - run across the courtyard, tossing him a wand.
A rush of pride filled you as he ran towards you. You met him halfway, jumping into his arms, hugging him close to you as his arms wrapped around your waist with a desperate grip. You buried your face in his neck and breathed in deeply, feeling the warmth of his body against yours. You pulled away and looked up at him, smiling brightly.
"Draco," You murmured to him, squeezing his hand, "Did you plan that or something?" He smiled down at you, but before he could answer you, you whipped your wand out and shot a Death Eater over Draco's shoulder. "We should fight, talk later." You grinned, as Draco took your hand in his.
"Yeah," He muttered, "Good plan, love."
The Battle of Hogwarts was a nasty one, one that you both hoped to never live through again. You and Draco did your best to stop the Death Eaters that came your way, and after what felt like hours of running down halls and fallen corridors, there was finally silence. That silence was followed by a sense of relief and peace that enveloped your bodies and calmed your souls. Entering the Great Hall, you looked up at the sun shining down upon you from the large hole in the ceiling. You couldn't help but smile, tearing up slightly at the realization that Voldemort was dead. Sitting down, you and Draco watched as other students, professors, friends, and parents trickled in, finding their own spot to sit and take a breath after the battle that they all fought so hard to end.
"Thank goodness," You sighed, looking around the hall. You spotted Ginny sitting at a table with most of her family, and Luna before she headed down the hall, and lastly, you waved to Harry, who gave you and Draco both a tired, relieved smile. You looked away from them, focusing on Draco as he sat beside you, his hand resting on top of yours on his knee.
"How are you feeling?" You asked him, leaning in closer to him.
"I'm okay. What about you?" Draco asked, interlacing his fingers with yours, careful of the small cuts on your knuckles from when you punched some random Death Eater.
You hummed, "Like I just got hit by a train," You gave him a light nudge before your eyes widened as you looked up at Draco with a huge grin, "Oh! Now that old Voldy is gone, I have something to tell you."
"What's that?" Draco raised an eyebrow.
You laughed lightly, "Well, it’s all good news, you don’t have to worry." You leaned in, kissing him on the cheek before whispering to him, "I'm a princess."
Draco's eyes widened as he simply stared at you, confused, "What? You're a princess?" He asked, and you nodded.
"I am the Princess of Wales." You told him, "I wanted to tell you but if anyone found out it could endanger them, but now that Voldemort's gone, I can tell anyone I wish."
Draco seemed taken aback, blinking rapidly as he pulled back from you slightly to look at you, "You're pulling my leg here, aren’t you, love?"
You shook your head, "No, I'm not pulling your leg. You know me, Draco, I am a terrible liar, especially to you."
Draco stared at you for a long while, pursing his lips as he watched your eyes. It was true, there was this look that your eyes gave that told Draco that you were lying - that really gave you away. But this time, your eyes just shined right back at him; not a lie in sight. His mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water before he cleared his throat, "I'm dating a princess..."
You laughed at his shocked expression, nodding your head, "Yes, yes, you are."
"Bloody hell," He muttered, making you throw your head back as you laughed.
"Dray..." You place your hand on his arm, "You're sounding like a Weasley!" You giggled, making Draco's gaze on you soften. He shook his head, finding himself laughing along with you, smiling a real, genuine smile that made you feel all warm inside. Just hearing his laugh made you happy, and made you forget everything else that was going on in your life. "So, what do we do now?" You asked him, resting your chin on his shoulder, his fingers playing with your hands in his lap.
Draco only shrugged a shoulder, his eyes glancing up at you, "I haven't a clue. Do you have any ideas?"
"Hmm, a vacation, and after that…" You pondered, pursing your lips lightly as you pulled one of your hands from his to gently card them through his messy hair. "How about you meet my family?" You offered, and Draco's face lit up, "They'd love to meet you."
"Really?" He asked, raising an eyebrow, "Do you think so?"
You nodded, "They already do. Especially my brothers, and they’re pretty protective of me, so that’s like a huge plus." You leaned in, brushing your nose against his before giving him a quick peck on the lips, "They all already love you, I promise, and it's my fault really, seeing how I've written about you since I was thirteen."
Draco's cheeks warmed as he smirked at you, "I'd love to meet them, love." Draco spoke, turning towards you slightly, "Pardon, I mean, your Highness." Draco lightly teased, making you roll your eyes playfully as he leaned in, his nose gently bumping against yours.
You couldn’t stop your smile from growing, “Such a tease.” You muttered before continuing, "I'm glad you came back."
Feeling him nod slightly as his hand came up to cup the back of your neck, his fingers tangling in your hair there. With a small, shaky sigh, Draco answered, "Me too, love, me too." And with that you let yourself sink into his embrace once more.
Prompt 13 - Glare
@jegulus-microfic March 13 Word count 599
Previous part First part
They stood outside the ruins of the small. Regulus wasn’t sure how to describe it. Shack? The wood was rotted, the roof was barely there, and the door was gone completely, leaving the doorway open and gaping.
They’d decided Evan, Barty, Lily, and Pandora would stay behind. Having eight people apparate to the same broken-down dwelling would look suspicious if anyone saw them. Regulus had wanted to go on his own, but Remus needed to come with him, and where Remus went, Sirius followed, and then James had demanded he be allowed to come as well. So he and Sirius stayed under the invisibility cloak.
“Right,” Regulus spoke to his companions. “I believe we are looking for a ring. The Gaunt family apparently prized this thing and refused to sell it even when the family fell into ruin. He and Remus cast a few revealing charms, checking that they wouldn’t be cursed if they crossed the threshold. They couldn’t find anything, so they tentatively stepped inside. Nothing happened.
It took them less than fifteen minutes to locate the ring. It was hidden beneath the floorboards in the largest room. They’d only found it when James’s foot had stood on it just right that it creaked. Regulus and Remus had used their charms again and couldn’t find anything guarding it. He pulled the floorboard up and plucked the gold box from the gap underneath.
He ran his hand over the cool, smooth lid. It was emblazoned with an emblem that he’d only recently been able to identify as the Gaunt family seal. He waved his wand over it, and the lid popped open. Nestled in an emerald silk scarf was a small black ring. It gleamed in the dim light, making Regulus shudder as he looked at it. He couldn’t believe it they’d found another Horcrux.
Remus took it from him to look at and passed it to James and then Sirius. Regulus stood. “Right, let’s get it back to Evan’s, and we can—SIRIUS DON’T PUT IT ON!!!!” Sirius stopped dead in his tracks. He’d taken the ring from its box and was halfway to slipping it onto his finger. Regulus took the ring from his brother, sticking him with a glare before he placed the ring in his hidden pocket where it would be safe.
He removed one of his rings and transfigured it to look like the Gaunt ring. He replaced it in the box and carefully returned it under the floorboard. They left the home of the once proud Gaunt family and apparated back to Rosier House.
This time, Barty was happier to see them. He’d been pacing, his hair stuck up where he’d nervously run his hands through it.
“Oh, thank you, Merlin, you’re alright.” He rushed Regulus and showed an uncharacteristic amount of worry for his friend. Even more surprising was when he dropped Regulus and wrapped his arms around Remus. Remus, taken aback, lamely patted him on the head.
‘There, there, Crouch. We’re fine. We literally just walked in there and took it. There wasn’t even a repelling charm.” Barty leaned back so he could look at Remus’s face.
“You’re kidding, right? That’s so anti-climatic. Salazar Balls, Voldy is an arrogant prat. Imagine being so up yourself you don’t think anyone’s going to figure out who you’re real family is.”
“Quite. We still need to figure out where the rest of them are. I’m still trying to track down where Riddle went after he left Hogwarts.” Regulus addressed the room. Evan pulled out a roll of parchment.
“Actually, we’ve been doing some digging.”
What are your thoughts on snack as a ship.
There are many fics out there. Some as the teen versions and others as adult them.
One fic i really enjoyed but it had the plot of taking James away from Sirius for plot purpose. You know because James wants to keep bullying. So it was like Sirius+remus on one side where snack takes place while James and peter on the other side with jily happening on the side.
I really loved this story and the characterisation was good too but I can't see Sirius especially teen Sirius willingly breaking up with bff James. I think it would have been more fun if James tried to make friends with snape for his bff sake . Only for Sirius you know. He would not do so for lily but Sirius just has that power over him with puppy dog eyes.
Another fic I read was about ootp snack. Again it was done nicely but again here remus characterisation was a little skewed because for me post azkaban Sirius and remus didn't have a good buddy ship. They were just hanging in there for old times sake.
I mean it was not like someone hit a pause button on their friendship for 12years. Their friendship was already in ruins before James death. So i was a little icky about remus being like a normal friend and giving relationship advice and you know teasing Sirius. Because I can't see a traumatized Sirius willingly making fun with a remus. Cause one thing which I highly appreciate about canon Sirius is that he after being stuck so long, didn't seem to be struck in the past, he kept on pushing and moving forward while lupin often came across as missing good old times. They both had loads of free time in their respective isolation years but their reaction to it is different.
Anyways I really don't like how snape becomes super comfortable around lupin when he begins a relationship with Sirius in snack fics . He is scared of werewolf and fear is not rational. He won't be practical and think oh well it is not the full moon night, i an safe.
Wouldn't it feel real that even after years of being in a relationship, snape still avoid being alone with the resident wolf. In turn remus hating being avoided by thr person his bff will marry and instead of clearing the air out like a normal person, he antagonize snape. Sirius struck in the middle. Both sides ranting to him. Making him Choose, in snapes case as an ultimatum and in Remus's case passive aggressive tone. I mean Remus can play people, he can make it so that Sirius leaves snape because his bf is making his friend uncomfortable and remus is little munchkin who shouldn't be troubled.
Sorry i got carried away.
So the ask is - 1)snape and Sirius relationship thoughts - both a teen/ yong adult snack and adult traumatized snack , if you could go in that much details. + 2) How remus and snape interact , their dynamic in the role of friend and boyfriend+ 3) remus's behavior if ootp Sirius and Severus date. ( like genuinely what will he do because I can't see him being overly supportive and teasing Sirius and befriending snape etc)
Bonus : Lily and snape circling around each other (a non voldy au where they are young adults) being the partner of the main marauders knowing all too well that j and s will always be friend so they will have to suck it up if they want to stay in relationship with their respective partner.
Omg the possibilities of drama in this scenario. I mean people often tight love stories about enemies to lovers but the fun in exploring James 's reaction in learning his bff is dating snivelus. The betrayal but then it is Sirius so he will just wait until they just break up. 😂
I don't even know if you have interest in all this, please ignore if not.
Anonymous asked: What’s your take on Sirius/Snape?
Thank you for the asks!!! I've never thought too much about Snack (Sirius/Severus) before, so this was a lot of fun! They have a lot in common, but went in incompatible directions: + Both had unhappy childhoods, with a family that abused them. + Both are incredibly loyal and fight to the death. + Both are intelligent problem-solvers who boldly face challenges head-on. + Both are honest people. They blatantly say what they think. + Both are sarcastic, witty, sometimes a little cruel - but are caring at their core. – Sirius, raised in a Pureblood 'Slytherin' house, rejected every part of that heritage and built himself a new identity. – Severus, raised in a muggle house, found appreciation for his magical skills and purpose amongst Slytherin/DE's.
...I don't think there is much hope for them being friends if Sirius meets James first. James shines brightly with everything he wishes his life was: Laid back, messy, relaxed, free... Like a moth to a flame.
I agree that Sirius leaving his friends seems out of character. I think it flows better if there is a change in the environment that forces change in a character, such as: If Sirius never met James on the train - and sorted into Slytherin. ((1700 words; 3 parts: 1970s, 1990s, Remus))
1970s
If a bitter, lonely Sirius Black unsatisfied with his home life could sit down and get to know Snape, (not just butt heads like a pair of goats)... I think after a period of rivalry (them both being the two smartest in their house) they would become inseparable. Once they realized they could understand eachother so deeply, and are fascinated by eachother's worlds (muggle and pureblood) their loyalty would WELD to eachother.
Shaggy, black haired twins. The Snake-Eyes of Slytherin. The King of Transfiguration and the Prince of Potions.
- People assume Severus is Sirius' brother instead of Regulus. - They would mark their shared research/journal entries 'S.S.' in two different inks. - They would steer clear of Death Eaters – and Severus wouldn't need them in order to feel accepted. He has Sirius. - They'll be a couple of menaces: sarcastic and snarky, more interested in their own feelings above all others... - A little bullying. Sirius likes to talk smack on those he doesn't respect, but nothing serious. Maybe a hex or two. (James was more the physical bully, anyway - Sirius was at the sidelines jeering.) - Without being bullied, without facing constant pain and humiliation, without having to work out counter-jinxes... I don't think Severus would get interested in Dark Magic. - Neither of them would be able to stand James. His life has been easy, he was loved and supported... yet he has the nerve to look down upon Slytherins? He doesn't know what they have BOTH been through.
Would Severus still be friends with Lily? From his end, I think so - he is very loyal. But would she get along with Sirius' boisterous attitude? Would she think he is changing Severus for the worse? Would she get a little jealous...? It used to be just them in a world of Muggles, playing with their magic... and now Severus is smitten. Would she worry that Sirius Black is isolating him socially because they so deeply rely on eachother?
...Would she become closer to James, Remus and Peter? THAT is an interesting group... That's enough about teenagers. I want men. Man time.
1990s
Sirius and Severus have even MORE common-ground. Like grudges :) ...But they are also broken in more ways that make it difficult.
Severus has had to learn to mask his emotions. To lie. To sit back and watch horrible things happen so he can act at the best time. ...These are characteristics Sirius struggles to comprehend. He is still just as honest, just as brazen, just as bold as ever. - Sirius see's things like lying as being scummy, weak, turning your back on your morals, on who you are... for the sake of staying alive a little longer!? Cowardice! - Severus thinks Sirius is immature. Dying so easily is just selfishness masquerading as selflessness. Stay alive and fight, even at the cost of everything you are.
+ They are both stubborn; unlikely to like someone they have decided to hate. + They have both lost the light of their life to something that was partially their fault. + They have both had their lives, their dreams for the future, utterly destroyed. + They have both been trapped in a form of 'servitude' ever since that day. + They are both tired, with foul tempers. + They are both, more often than not... alone.
They are very alike... but they feel like they share nothing. The way they see the world is alien to eachother. It's a large bridge to cross... and they are both the sort to not want to bother crossing large bridges.
But they do share one all-encompassing important thing: Harry Potter is the core of their lives.
THIS is an excellent post - (my reblog in case it's taken down) That is one compelling way Sirius and Severus could make a connection and have a civil conversation.
Sirius seeing Snape in Harry's trauma/abuse surviving behaviour. Sirius has so much time to introspect, to get drunk and remember the past... now that he sees how similar Harry is to how Severus was, the fact he bullied him hurts. It's like he has bullied Harry.
Sirius is an honorable man. When he see's he has done wrong, he will bow his head and apologize... ...However, Severus isn't the type to take an apology without snark. "A little late, isn't it Black? It really took you 20 years to even consider me human?"Snape would deny having much in common with Harry. It's mostly denial ('Potter is a brat like his father') with some embarrassment, too. Snape being a prick about it would set Sirius off, of course. "Oh you can NEVER just take a good thing, can you Snivellius..." They would fight again... but I think, as Order meetings continue: - Sirius will be nicer to Severus. He has lost the taste for being nasty. - Severus will lose his taste for more than basic comments at Sirius' expense. Deep down he appreciates the apology - very few have ever apologized to him before. - The fact he treats him differently means even more. He has stuck to his words. Without the bite of hatred they start finding eachothers words humorous. Entertaining. A battle of wits rather than a battle of blood pressure. Severus visiting has gone from a test of patience to something Sirius gets excited about! It gets so boring and lonely... everyone is always so down-beat because of the war, so stressed... nobody anyone wants to BANTER. And-! Severus can tell him how Harry is doing!!!
The change in their dynamic is immediately felt by others... ...but nobody knows what to make of it. All they know is that sparks aren't flying anymore - from their tempers or their wands. They're smiling more. - Big toothy grin's from Sirius, licking his teeth and flicking his eyebrows as he thinks of something else clever to say. - Small curling smirks from Severus, leaning against the table as he shoots back some biting remark.
Snape often needs to thunder off somewhere. Things are only getting harder. The quiet, cold walls of Grimmauld Place and Sirius' eagerness to listen to anything, even complaints... it's soothing. Sirius knows so many of his secrets already. He can really let loose - and Sirius can take all of it. The anger, the sorrow, the frustration, the regrets... he finds it 'entertaining' - and always manages to bring his mood back up.
The kids don't really notice, they aren't that emotionally aware yet... ...But Harry notices when Sirius tells him off for being irresponsible in one of Snape's lessons.
"...How did you know that?!" "Severus always complains about you - but this time he was right: That WAS needlessly irresponsible. Potion making can be very dangerous." Harry completely ignored the scolding. "You and Snape... talk!?" Sirius blinks, looking a little confused. Did he and Severus... 'talk'? "...He IS a member of the Order, Harry..." Sirius chuckled, but knew his godson had a point: It was very odd that he had been spending more time with Severus... and that Severus was spending more time over.
...Severus was someone Sirius could talk to about anything. Even the horrors of Azkaban. He's seen equal or worse. Few people can keep him on his toes as much as Severus, and those that can... are rarely in the mood. But when he is trading words with Snape his brain feels like its coming back to him. It reminds him of talking to James sometimes... Was Severus always this endearing sarcastic...? Was he always this intelligent...? Was he always this quick-witted...? The boy in his memory is one that spat out curses (magical and mundane) like spitting watermelon seeds... but maybe he just wasn't really listening? He wasn't seeing him for who he was, all this time?
Remus
Remus cant tell what the odd dynamic between Sirius and Severus has become - and he doesn't really care enough to ask. He doesn't spend much time thinking about Snape. He never has. Severus was abrasive and stuck his nose where it didn't belong. Their time teaching together didn't exactly make them buddies, either.
He's just happy the man rarely interacts with him. He has little to say to Severus. Now that Severus has 'done his duty' warning the world of his condition he has little to say to Remus, too. If they had their way they'd probably never speak a word to eachother ever again.
Sirius is far better company. They weren't on the best of terms during the first war... but it is nice having an old face back in his life. Someone he knows he doesn't have to pretend with.
...SO its rather annoying when Severus gets dragged into their conversations. Sometimes he just arrives, complaining about things. Every time Sirius turns his head and starts 'playing', the conversation they were having overridden as a new shiny toy walks in. Its not even to bully him anymore! THAT he could understand: Sirius always liked riling people up, especially Severus - and these days he was desperate for any form of fun. No... this was madness. It was mutual. Severus will always pick the seat next to Sirius. They will chat and scoff and bicker, leaving Remus standing there like a houseplant. Passed up... for Snivellius. It seems ridiculous...
He doesn't want to admit that he is sore that Sirius is passing him up for a 'new friend'. He doesn't want to admit that he likes being the one shoulder Sirius can lean on. Admitting those things makes him feel selfish and petty.
Lupin has always been good at remaining civil. I don't think he would care if they formally started 'dating'... just surprised. I agree with you - I don't think his friendship is strong enough for him to put effort into becoming more than just 'civil' with Severus.
But I am torn on whether Remus will inevitably grow a little more distant as he leans more towards Tonks and the Weasleys... ...or whether he would humbly make an effort to sit down and talk to Severus, man-to-man, friend-to-boyfriend... and find all the common ground they also share with one another. (But I have more interest in Snupin - I don't want to bring that bias here, lol.)
So I'm just throwing this out here, but I don't think I've ever read a story where someone dissuades Tom from creating horcruxes with pure logic, in the sense of dealing with it like a science theory?
Obviously there's the ones where they use the highly emotional plea to stop him "You can't do that! Murder is wrong and if you do I won't ever forgive you!" Type of stuff.
The still emotional, but trying to act like it's rational plea, "If you do this thing, you'll turn into [Canon!Voldie] and that would be terrible!".
And even some where they present the idea that creating a horcrux ruins you, magic, mind, and body, but don't have any real proof of this claim (unless they do some pensieve memories of Canon!Voldie). Which in my opinion is still generally an emotionally based plea, because often the point there is to elicit a horror and disgust response from Tom?
But I don't think I've ever read a story where someone sat him down and asked him what the possible side effects were? Some kind of chat like, "So what's the downside of doing this? Because SURELY magic like that has side effects? Wait, you're actively removing parts of your soul from the whole? Uhh, is that a good idea? I mean dementors remove people's souls and leave them brain dead vegetables (and, hey maybe at some point someone actually studied this in depth and there's like, actual scientific info about the effects of a dementors kiss! Maybe a study on how it affects magic?). So I mean? Wouldn't removing pieces of your soul have a similar, if lesser, effect? Would doing this basically be equivalent of giving yourself a blind lobotomy?"
I don't know, just a thing I was thinking about and realized I've not read anything along that vein. (Any reccs appreciated if there ARE fics like this tho)
I have never seen this in a fic, but I'd be very interested if anyone has any ideas!
Moonwater idea:
Regulus and Sirius make up and start being more present in eachother’s lives(yay!)
Because of that, each of their group of friends start interacting more
One day, Sirius sees Regulus and Remus talking excitedly with eachother about a book they both like and BAM
He’s hit with one of the best ideas he ever had
What if… he set them up?
On his mind he thinks it’s perfect. Remus and Regulus have lots of things in common, Sirius loves them both, they would be very happy together and… they could go in double dates (you can decide with who he’s with, but I like to imagine it’s Gideon Prewett)
So Sirius recruits James and Peter to the operation “Romulus”
(“Wait” Peter says “Shouldn’t it be ‘Remulus’ then? Where did that ‘o’ came from?
“No, it’s ‘Romulus’. You know, because of ‘Remus and Romulus’”
“Are you sure of it, mate? That doesn’t make a lot of sense” James questions.
“Yeah” Peter agrees “Wouldn’t ‘Moonsekeer’ make more sense?”
“Ohh, that’s a very pretty name, Wormy”
“Right? Feels romantic”
“No, it’s my brother, my operation, so I decide the name and it’s ‘Romulus’”
“But-“
“‘Romulus”)
Anyway, the plan to get Remus and Regulus together starts and it’s very much on the style of those old movies of kids trying to set their parents up
(Tell me that Lindsay Lohan in The Parent Trap doesn’t remind you of Sirius. I dare you)
Anyway, the plan is in motion, but what they don’t know it’s that Remus and Regulus already like eachother, but are afraid that if they act upon this feelings they are going to ruin the growing friendship they have with eachother and their relationship with Sirius
Shenanigans happen, going from the basic ‘lock them up together in a room’ to ‘accidentally destroying a horcrux’ and yet, nothing of them getting together (well, a kiss happened, but they don’t know that happened, so the ‘Romulus’ group don’t think any progress was made)
It all cames to a lovely conclusion with baby Harry(yeah, they took THAT long to get together, but to be honest, they had to stop Voldy, so it kinda took some time of the planning) being the responsible for them to finally admit their feelings and start dating
(Harry was well rewarded with position of ring bearer in the wedding, along with baby Luna being the flower girl and his godfather eternal gratitude)
"Don't get me started on jegulus" actually please get started I'd like to hear your thoughts on it because your take on wolfstar and the oc-ification of some characters is so refreshing to see (tbh my first reaction to jegulus was just confusion on how it started and how quickly it got popular lmao)
ahh this makes so happy to hear that my post resonated with some people!! Was worried i was in the minority lol.
Anyways, abt jegulus -- i acc had a reaaally long post about how much i hated the dynamic (in canon compliant ish works -- Jegulus in aus is fine ig) but i deleted it lol.
I think the core reason why i dislike the pairing so much is that I feel like it the ship goes against everything James stands for. We don't know a lot about James' character in canon, but what we do know is that he had a strong sense of justice, and fierce loyalty to his friends and his cause, which ultimately led to his doom. I just can't imagine that James would associate with someone even a little bit bigoted. This is not to say i think James is a saint, i think he could be an ass sometimes (snapes worst memory lol) but i think he'd draw the line at someone who was associated with 'evil'. James had a very black and white view of good and bad and i just don't think it would make sense for James to date reg, esp as he is becoming a death eater. James may be a dick but he is also the biggest ally to ever ally !!
The only jegulus fics I have read are 'Just Lovers' and 'Choices'. Just lovers is a non-voldy au so i don't really have a problem with their dynamic there but choices on the other hand,, oh boy.
Spoilers for 'Choices' by MesserMoon btw (TW for talk of SA):
Regulus' friends rape Mary. And instead of feeling disgusted on the victim’s behalf, (who has been his friend for 5 years) James instead feels upset because it tarnishes the ‘good’ image he has of reg in his head. Thing is when a similar situation happened (The Prank ™), James was upset that Sirius would do such a thing but he also felt disgusted on behalf of Remus. Where was that energy here, huh?? I’ve even seen comments villianising Mary (the rape victim).
The thing I also hate about their dynamic is that it is basically an ally of the oppressor and ally of the oppressed. The problem with that is that when you are allied with the oppressor, you become an oppressor yourself (and reg does; he does terrible things) and that subsequently makes the so-called ally of the oppressed in cahoots with the oppressor as well. This brings so many parallels to real life where people say that they are an “ally” but become friends with/date a racist/rapist. “Oh but they’re nice to me”. its just a little ew.
And in other jegulus canon-compliant-ish fics, sometimes instead of James' character being watered down its Regulus' character. Like, he's not as morally grey, not as complex etc so it makes sense that James would agree to date him. I feel like jegulus as a ship ruins the core of what made their characters so interesting in the first place.
That being said,,, i do love me some canon-compliant unrequited jegulus. Regulus goes to hogwarts, gets so mad at Sirius for ditching him or whatever, but falls in love with the very guy that stole sirius away. He also has internalised homophobia because he's a Black brother so imagine the angst. James potter goes against everything he stands for,, sirius betrayed him,, but perhaps they're right abt smth?? Perhaps he needs to do smth. alone.
sorry for rambling but these are my thoughts on jegulus !! Anyways I feel like I should reiterate that this is a personal preference!! I think it ruins core of these characters, i prefer jily and i love me some unrequited gay pining for the boy who you're brother replaced u with. But this is just a personal preference !
oh and just a side note if it ever led to a decision where james had to choose between sirius and regulus -- no matter how much he 'allegedly' loved regulus, he would choose sirius, no questions asked.
Wait… in TTC, if Draco ever found a way to go back to the future, what would happen?
Would Draco take the chance and go back? Would he stay? Would he go back through the cabinet or an entirely new way?
Would Tom search for him in the future? Would he like… wait like a creep until Draco is born?
I always imagine a scene where Draco actually goes back to the future, stumbling out of the cabinet right into his and Tom’s old room in Knockturn Alley. Maybe after Draco disappeared Tom kept all of their stuff in that room, including the cabinet. Or maybe Voldie would keep the cabinet right by his side, guarded by Nagini, since he wants to be there when Draco appears.
Draco has never been that serious about going back to the future. You'll notice he gave up after like one day and only started looking again once he thought Tom was dumping him to go to Albania. 1997 was... not a great year for Draco. Dying was something he had come to view as an inevitability. This escape to the past is the first time in months that he's had hope for the future, funnily enough. Draco has no faith in Harry or Dumbledore's ability to defeat Voldemort. He sees him as a god, essentially. And was raised to see him that way. The only future is a future with Voldemort. And that future aint looking too great for Draco.
So to answer your question, no. Draco probably wouldn't go back to the future if he had the opportunity in TTC. And in Bluebeard or The Diadem he definitely wouldn't. He has made his peace with being in the 40s and has carved out a freer, happier life than he ever would've had in the 90s and onward, even without the threat of Voldemort.
If Draco was forcefully pulled back into the future through some sort of magic, then I think Tom would be a worse person for it. "To have loved and lost is better than to not have loved at all" is true... if you're not Tom Riddle. Especially if he thought Draco had gone deliberately and thus betrayed him. Tom's abandonment issues are strong enough already.
I don't think he'd get over Draco, even if just in a resentful sort of way. Tom isn't the type that gets over anything. Even as an old man he's still rambling about his dad. Whether that would result in him cherishing Draco or absolutely ruining his life is another matter. Again, depends if he thinks Draco left on purpose or not. Either way, he'd defs be a creep.
I always imagine a scene where Draco actually goes back to the future, stumbling out of the cabinet right into his and Tom’s old room in Knockturn Alley. Maybe after Draco disappeared Tom kept all of their stuff in that room, including the cabinet. Or maybe Voldie would keep the cabinet right by his side, guarded by Nagini, since he wants to be there when Draco appears.
I do like this idea! But ngl Tom is too cheap to keep paying rent for 50 years. Still, I'm sure he can find alternative methods.
WHO WANNA BE BESTIES‼️ i need someone to giggle over hp with. you HAVE to be a jkr hater tho bc i hate terfs and am agender(im just vibin tho all gendered terms i use by vibe alone)
MINORS DNI
i have some Opinions on a lot of things about hp and i have some fluctuating emotions on certain characters. i genuinely treat every hp character like barbies that i play with and put into Shenanigans and Situations.
i will reading bashing fics especially albus ones i hate the things he did but i on occasion have been known to enjoy a good albus fic including ones where he's less "we have to kill voldy!!" and more "you (platonically or romantically)Love someone, dont you Tom?" like that spongebob meme. i do not like sirius or remus bashing, it's always overly harsh and vilifies a man locked away in the harshest prison who's mental faculties have been horribly abused, and while The Prank was an incredibly stupid attempt of a prank due to the danger it put severus in and also remus i ultimately believe it would've never happened in the first place if albus and minerva properly chastised the marauders earlier for their treatment of snape. we also don't know when this happened in the timeline of the marauders, was it before or after snape and lily's falling out. in remus' case he's a man who's been treated as a monster his whole life who was allowed into hogwarts by albus who then used this BOY'S gratitude to make him go into enemy territory and spy on and try to recruit people to the other side of the war. not to mention that albus groomed them all to fight the boy he FAILED(ive got so many opinions on tom and albus) and then when remus who support network was either dead or imprisoned he was told he couldn't raise harry and was told to not contact him. albus did all he fucking could to make harry miserable and pliable so that he'd sacrifice himself to end a war like a pig to slaughter. ur telling me Great Albus Dumbledore defeater of grindelwald couldnt find a solution to the horcrux besides having him walk to his death not to mention that he could've probably figured out horcruxes decades earlier and tried collecting them and probably would've succeeded! also i hate that the whole marauders generation is completely wiped out jkr u nasty bitch!
my ultimate fav ships are nottpott and wolfstar. ive BEEN a wolfstar lover since i was literally a child. nottpott entered my life last year and proceeded to ruin me on drarry(and pretty much every other ship involving harry and someone else or theo and someone else) i used to hate dramione bc i was apart of a toxic forum back in the day but i have grown to enjoy it bc it usually goes hand in hand with nottpott. i am forever a fremione and a pansmione gurlie tho. i love a lot of marauders ships as well jegulus/jily/jegulily/wolfstar/marylily/dorlene/pandalily/rosekiller/etc
i will mention i have dipped my toe into tomarry. i have enjoyed quite a few fics with this pairing and while i have enjoyed mostly ones where they are both teens, i do not like or support ones where its oldie voldie and literal child harry. its a grey area with somethings with them because of a multitude of factors and it shifts from a fic to fic basis. im not one to judge overly harsh over liking ships but i will judge in cases of straight up pedophilia but it will mostly result in a block because im not a child that starts fights on the internet anymore. i also do not support bestiality or incest and i'm specifying these things in particular due to a intimate relationship with the harry potter ao3 tag i know what freaks and weirdos exist there. literally the only fuckin fandom thats got a UNIQUE BESTIALITY tag
anyways msg me if ur interested <3
