Hello everyone! I made a spreadsheet to improve on ao3 search!! My brain is fried from working on this for the past few hours so I'm not really going to say anything else lol. Have fun !!

Whilst the filtering system on AO3 is good, i still struggle to filter things to my liking, because I've noticed that there will be two (not exactly but close enough) sides to a shipping tag, one that is dedicated to people who see it as abusive and one that see it as healthy, and we're using the same terms to describe different scenarios, I mean there are people who like both but I feel like we need a better way to filter that.

Hey! Just wanna say im really glad i found this account ive been getting into green lantern comics recently and your page is a godsend.Aside from that its one of the few that isnt overrun with batman/batfam content propinng him or his orphan child soliders by putting down other dc characters..so i was curious if you knew any dc fanfics that portray the lanterns as competent and or calling bruce out on his bullshit ( sorry if my text is a bit jumbled english isnt my first language)

Tbh the fanfiction situation for Green Lanterns is just as bad as it is on Tumblr, if not worse. So a few of these fics are going to be bat-centric, but I've specifically selected those that I feel actually respect and understand the GLs instead of flanderizing them to be stupid assholes.

i really hate to be this person but you can filter things out when you’re searching on ao3… i’m not a huge fan of this crossover either but if i don’t want to see it i just remove it from my search results? is that… is that not a common response?

I HATE that blond French twink (derogatory) because I am SICK of MLB crossover fics and posts when I am TRYING to consume Batman content! At one point some MLB fan got it in their heads that their poor baby Ladybug was being mistreated in her own universe or some SHIT, and decided to write a salt fic where Ladybug says “fuck you!” or whatever to everyone in France and hooks up with a Bat boy or something like that, and it’s like the concept caught on like a wildfire in the MLB fandom, because since then the Batman section of AO3 has been fucking INFESTED with these stupid crossover fics, written by people who have CLEARLY and BLATANTLY NEVER read a Batman or Bat-affiliated comic book even ONCE IN THEIR ENTIRE LIVES. They’ve obviously just absorbed mischaracterized and flanderized fanon and read Batfam incorrect quotes on Tumblr or whatever, and then further twisted the characters from those hollowed out dummies to suit whatever their poor precious wronged heroine needs! It’s SO FREAKING ANNOYING, and so the sight of any character from that show fills me with RAGE. AND YES, I’VE WATCHED EPISODES OF THE SHOW, BECAUSE UNLIKE THESE FIC WRITERS, I BELIEVE IN DOING MY RESEARCH PROPERLY, AND GUESS WHAT? IT MADE ME HATE IT EVEN MORE!

the worst possible feeling is when i'm reading a really good fic and then, OUT OF NOWHERE, there's incest. like idgaf if it's only alluded to, put that in your tags?? i just read a jayroy fic, it seemed pretty good at first. i'm about 90% through it and BOOM jason say's he slept with dick when he was robin. like, not only is that incest it's also pedophilia??? dick and jason have like a six year age gap???

i don't care if they're adopted, adoption is still family. literally the whole point of the batfam is that blood isn't the only thing that makes family. imagine your actual sibling starts coming onto you. imagine seeing two people dating and they're siblings, they have the exact same parent(s). this is that. they're the exact same thing.
