I like to think that when the batfamily inevitably runs out of money and jobless Bruce, Tim, and Dick* find themselves in financial need, Steph reveals that she's made thousands of dollars taking odd jobs around Gotham City that we just never saw bc Steph hasn't been in a comic for months. Nobody checked in on her and while they weren't looking she made 6 grand babysitting and playing piano at a local theatre. Bruce has to grovel for enough money to buff out a scratch on the batmobile and Steph is revelling in it. This is the closest she's ever going to get to being a supervillain

*(Cass and Jason don't need money to survive on account of being homeless as kids + Babs funds Cass' basic needs and Damian is on his mom's payroll, same w/ duke even if it's obvs not al ghul money)

Every week someone makes a post about how annoying it is that Dick Grayson fans don't acknowledge his flaws, and every week someone replies with an explanation that the flaws OP listed are entirely fanon and inconsistent with canon as it actually happened and at this point I have to assume that none of those explanations are ever going to stick because clearly some people just want the fanon to be true.

Anyway, I'm just putting this here for me to edit and add relevant-to-the-topic links later so I'll have them nicely at hand to read and sooth my frustrations when it gets real bad out there. (Echo chambers are good when we use them to drown out character mischaracterizing fanon.)

Loving the story of Ef and Gary. Will they have sex at any point or is Ef not going to allow that?

So I have two answers to this!

The first answer is - by your definition, yes, penetrative 'penis in ass' sex will be happening - at least as far as I know right now. I don't have a storyline or anything plotted out for this story, but as it stands with the directions the characters are moving in - absolutely they will. Please double check the tags! Knotting is literally right there. (And granted there's other ways knotting can happen, but I mean it in the most obvious way lol)

The second answer is they've already had sex! We really need to move beyond this idea that penetrative sex is 'sex' and everything else isn't. A handjob is sex! A blowjob is sex! Our like... attachment to the act of penetration is lowkey queerphobic/homophobic/transphobic etc., given how many people actually don't have any kind of penetrative sex at all in their relationships, throughout the entire relationship and the fact that most of those relationships are queer.

So let's just decouple the idea that sex = penetrative 'penis in vagina' or 'penis in ass' sex, because that's not much fun for our queer friends who are in relationships where it never happens, who are still extremely sexually active.

(Folks might not know this, but on the average, only about 60% of cisgay men ever have anal / penetrative sex in their long-term, loving relationships. And the rest don't! For them, sex is other stuff - frotting, handjobs, blowjobs, intercrural, you name it.)

(And then to say nothing of the fact that orgasms don't even have to be involved for it to be sex, for some people kissing is sex, fingerfucking someone's mouth is sex, heavy petting is sex, etc. Time to break out of the rigid heteronormative paradigm! We're definitely ready as a society to be way more inclusive about it :D ).

So yeah, anon, Gary and Efnisien have already had sex, they just haven't had a very specific kind of sex that plenty of couples actually never have while still being very horny and sexually active lol.

i do think the whole "ganging up on one person for a week then moving on" culture of the internet is egregious enough and it's the worst when it happens to ppl who haven't done anything wrong but "body language experts" on tiktok decided are evil or w/e. but it's also still bad when the person's worst crime is just kind of being a dick. this includes creators and somewhat public figures like youtubers or artists etc like i truly think the best thing to do is ignore them. they either made a mistake and are gonna learn from it, or they're just gonna keep being a dick to get more attention. and it's ESPECIALLY bad when the "kind of being a dick" event took place months or even years ago and you're bringing it up publicly to cancel someone (even more so when they clearly changed since then). like why does everyone on twitter think it's their job to school a whole adult man for posting something mean. to call out a small artist for being kinda rude to her fan once. can't we just all collectively find a new hobby

Ummmmm highlights of the day..!!!

I maybe bought 4 Naruto figurines. Thankfully not individually expensive (though perhaps a little expensive all together...) see I wanted Sasuke but I also wanted Kakashi and I couldn't have Sasuke without Naruto and well it would feel wrong to have the 3 of them without Sakura and so I somehow. Got all 4. Haha. I'll most likely post pics later, whenever I end up opening them. I'm still at the convention center rn lol

I was on the field of the Lucas Oil Stadium, aka the stadium that the Indianapolis Colts play at. I've attended all of One game here (not professional football, it was a high school game lol) so I've felt the size of it, but it's still fucking crazy being on the field. It's so BIG...... and obviously they've got the grass covered rn, but it's still pretty cool!!!

I maaaade dice!!! Pretty precise process it seems, & definitely would require a Lot of work (after the sanding and the painting etc etc). I do still wanna get into it, but if I wanted to spring for stuff like the vacuum chamber or the pressure pot...

Yeah, it'd get expensive. Add in the fact that I don't have a good place to do this away from the cats & it really is not feasible to start rn. But!!! Eventually!!!! I think I'd really enjoy it. I just need a dedicated workshop space where I can spread out without worrying about poisoning my cats lol.

Here's some cool game set stuff I saw in the event hall. This picture is maybe... hm... a fourth of the event hall? And then when you consider that the vender hall (connected to the event hall, though it's closed right now) is maybe 1.5 times as big as the event hall?? Give or take a little...

Aka just imagine booths upon booths upon booths... I'm gonna have to take a pic of it tomorrow. I was there too briefly to think about taking a pic. Honestly I maybe managed to get through like a tenth of the whole vender hall in an hour of wandering. It's fucking huge. And So Many Dice... I bought one set of 14 (I think it was) dice. Aka an extended set. And then I got a random set bag of dice (just a basic 7). And then a d20 with a cat on it. And a dice of LETTERS. Aka I guess a d26 (I totally did not have to double check that there were 26 letters in the alphabet)(I have 702k words written & posted to ao3)(😂😂😂 I'm very tired) but with letters instead of numbers. And it's glow in the dark!!! And I found some hxh buttons, and a mighty nein poster, and uhmmmm. A cute lanyard. And that's all I bought. Which really is such restraint for me. (Omfg I just saw a dragon cosplay)(someone just dressed as a dragon)

OH YEAH I saw a fucking. Persona 5 Ryuji cosplay. Hanging out with the biker lady from Durarara. Featuring the Ryuji holding her scythe hfksbfmd which was such a funny image. I was too shy to ask for a pic but just trust 🙏 i saw this

Anyways yeah the only real big thing I bought is the naruto figurines. I'll show pics later once I got the stuff again (I dropped it all off in the car earlier)
