“How long have you been here?” He finally asked, lowering his binoculars but not yet bothering to shift his gaze from his stake out. He’d been at this for a few hours now. After bugging the place so he could hear every conversation that the henchmen were having, Tim settled down in a building across from them and waited for the information he needed to be leaked. Even hours later, he hadn’t let his guard down for a moment. Quickly noticing Batman’s presence behind him. “Pull up a chair. It’s probably the most boring reality show I’ve ever witnessed.” He joked.

The Joker was apprehended, sitting on the ground as Batman guarded him, but the kid--"Bruce Wayne's newest ward, how tragic! Hehehe!"--was nowhere to be found. Nightwing and Red Hood desperate searched the warehouse until a shuffling noise grabbed their attention.

A kid, black haired just like the kid in the Joker's broadcast, crawling out of a pile of boxes. "Is it over?" the boy asked quietly.

Nightwing guided him to the only exit, unfortunately walking past the boy's own kidnapper. "Yeah, kid. It's over. Come on-"

Like a shot, the boy rushed the Joker and kicked him right in the balls.

The Joker wheezed like a dying squeaky toy. Red Hood froze. Nightwing immediately snatched the boy up by the armpits, but all that did was give the boy the height to attack again, punting Joker in the jaw. The clown went down and cracked his head on the floor. He did not get back up.

There was a moment of silence before Red Hood roared with laughter, his helmet distorting the sound.

talking about bruce and jason: A Shakespearean tragedy. They can never be happy at the same time. They will always self-sabotage what could help them. Jason is dead and he's always been dead, and Bruce died with him in most ways that matter, but the story won't let them leave. The curtains will never close. They're forced to keep moving and ruining themselves every time.

Blob Ghosts Adventures

y'all know those little transparent marble sized orbs that when you put them in water just grow?

What are they called orbeez?

Onto my idea

Blob ghosts have the same reaction, in the Infinity realms they're fine won't grow much but outside the realm?

Ohohoha! They don't have a true limit!

On an unrelated note Ra's seems to have an infestation that only continue to multiply in quantity and physical size.

Well at least they seem to enjoy his pit waters.

Just imagine a huge blob ghost relaxing inside one of the pits like they're on vacation with a sunhat and shades surrounded by other blob ghosts of varying sizes all the while Ra's is in the background looking tiny in comparison

“It’s a game. first you learn the system and then you learn the system was designed to be cheated.” He paused, “Right? Is that how you’re going to explain it away? You can’t just cheat, Batman. That’s not fair!” Edward screamed down at him from across the room. Hands gripping the railing tightly. The metal cooling his warmed gloves from the embarrassment and anger he was feeling. He hadn’t gone through all of his riddles the way he wanted to at all. He skipped to the end, as if he had better things to do. Was Joker more important to him? Two-Face? Bane? Who else had Batman’s attention tonight? 

“Fine! You want to cheat? Then we’ll have to play a different game.” He announced, letting go of the railing dramatically and backing up from it. Throwing his hands up as he spoke. Each movement radiated with flare. His body acted with the charisma of a game-show host, but his voice was dripping with mania. “Riddle me this! I eat, I live. I breathe, I live. I drink, I die. What am I?“ Not his finest work but it would have to do for now. He quickly took out a match and lit it before dropping it to the ground below the catwalk where he stood. Within an instant, the ground lit ablaze and the smell of gasoline hit the air with the smoke. “I’m disappointed in you!” He screamed down before taking a moment to get a hang of himself. Rolling his shoulders and shaking out his hands. “Disappointed but not surprised.”

"Hey, isn't that a fourteen-year-old?"

Actually going insane over the implications of Jason asking Dick to be the Robin to his Batman in Battle for the Cowl.

Like I initially took it at the purely surface-level of Jason wanting a partner in the general sense. Which made sense, it's a huge responsibility and a lonely one so an assistant/sidekick/partner seems a no-brainer if you can get one.

But then I really thought about it, because Jason is not asking Dick to be his partner in the general sense; he's not even asking Dick to be his Nightwing. He's asking Dick to be his Robin.

And they both know exactly what Jason means: "Be the light to my darkness. Be the smile to my scowl. Be the hope to my fear. "

He's saying "Be 'Robin'; be the embodiment of Love and Justice and Goodness. Be the exceptional person that you have always been. Be the slightly-less exceptional person that I was when I wore your colors. Be the person that I was in the process of becoming and might have been (or might still be), if only Joker hadn't clipped my wings."

He's saying "I am prepared to become vengeance, become the Night. And I will go further than Bruce ever dared to, because it is what is needed. I will be the necessary evil. But you don't have to be. If Batman is Gotham's curse, Robin has always been its blessing. I will be the brutal punishment to our world, and I am asking you to be its incandescent gift."

He's saying, "Be for me, what we were for Him. Be my anchor, my comfort, my hope. Remind me what it's all for, why it's all worth it. And remind yourself as well."

He's saying "Be 'Robin' again--for both of our sakes."
