What if Dani's melting problem is less about being an unstable clone and more about the aging up process that she went through?

Obviously, if they can figure out how to reverse the process, she'll be fine. And they know just the right guy for messing with time!

But now they've got a baby with superpowers and nowhere to keep her. She obviously wouldn't be safe at Danny's house, the Manson's would flip their wigs and send Sam off to boarding school, and Tucker's parents would definitely ask a LOT of questions. Vlad's obviously a no-no since he's the one that made this mess in the first place!

I think either:

1) Jazz takes Dani with her to University. Maybe she pretends that Dani is her bio-baby or maybe she tells people it's her little sister. I think Jazz is smart enough to get some scholarships, but the Fentons also seem to be fairly well off, so she could probably support herself and a toddler with a part-time job. (Can be Jazz/Jason or Jazz/Dick; maybe go avant garde Jazz/Roy or Jazz/Starfire)

2) Danny, Sam, and Tucker use their skills to find someone to take care of Dani. At first, they wanted to drop her off with Superman, but then they find out about how he treated Conner (pre- or post-makeup.) and just don't feel comfortable leaving her with someone who's shown bias against clones. Then they thought about Batman, but the "No Metas" rule and how dangerous Gotham is made them decide against him. (I couldn't pick who they'd leave her with. Probably Wonder Woman or the Flash. Maybe they give up and decide to figure out a way to keep her. It'd make a good 5+1 fic)

To include:

*Several people mistake Dani as their/a friend's illegitimate child.

*Superboy has the same problem, but hasn't started melting yet. The JL/YJL finds out that Superboy has an impending melt issue due to meeting Dani. (Yes, they have to de-age Superboy too.)

*Dani hates one member of the JL and goes feral kitten on them whenever they're in the vicinity.

When Danny gets taken by the GIW, Jazz, Dan & Elle - acting as regents of the Infinite Realms while Danny is out of action - find themselves using this fact to try and force the Justice League's hand in helping them.

(The Justice League, it should be noted, have no idea about anything going on with the GIW and the Anti-Ecto Acts. Everyone in Amity has been led to believe that the JL has just been ignoring them.)

They don't want to do it, but their options are limited. The Realms are howling for blood and its either declare war and obliterate the human race or try to get a little sneaky and a lot underhanded. So they decide they're going to force Batman to help them by kidnapping as many of the BatKids as they can and holding them hostage until their demands are met.

DC X DP PROMPT #11

Under some erroneous conditions, Vlad has become a contractor for the Justice League. It would be fine if Vlad Masters was the JL contact, but no, Plasmius has landed the gig. Somehow the vampire supervillain look didn't throw them off (he swears he never had to overshadow anyone, either)

This is not the main issue as of, though. The main issue is Danny. Not that Danny is ever really an issue, it's more of what happeneds to Danny that's a problem. Well - Dannys.

The three of them were out, minding their own business when some stray defecto GiW agents came out of nowhere. This was no longer supposed to be an issue. With Vlad having connections to the JL the GiW had been officially disbanded and their actions made illegal. This obviously did not stop some of the organization's former members.

Anyway, the Dannys were out bonding, typical sibling activities (no Dan, arson does not count. Yes, we can brawl though) when some rogue GiW agents fresh out of government-backed work caught them in the unawares. This would normally be a nonissue but these particular agents had managed to get their hands on some thought to be destroyed Fenton prototypes.

These agents had managed to capture the trio. Now, they had only held the Danny's for less than a day, but give an inch take a mile. Jack and Maddie had busted into the hodgepodge setup, guns blazing, Vlad not far behind. The damage was already done though. Jordan and Danielle were mostly just banged up, a little worse for wear, but no one was melting. It was Danny that was having issues.

Danny seemed to be the major target of the former agents ire. They had managed to get to his core. This damage wasn't irreversible, from what Frostbite had told them, but it was detrimental to the young ghost. He was still developing, this was simply not good for the Great One's health!

Through careful consideration, it was decided that in order to heal from this, Danny would be better off retreating into his core for this. He had already started the process of doing so in the short time they had been in the Far Frozen. Normally, when one of the Dannys would retreat into their core they would be placed under careful watch by the family, but with Danny's core being damaged the call was made that he would need to be carried.

Nearly everyone had volunteered to do such, all were turned down for various reasons. Jordan and Danielle were still injured (and Dani still had a perpetuity to melt at times). Jack and Maddie were denied on the fact that having a leaking source of ectoplasm would be a detrament to their own health, regardless of how liminal they were from years of constant exposure. In the end, the job fell on Vlad. No one was really thrilled with this (besides the man himself) but Frostbite insisted he would be the best fit for the situation. His human side would nourish Danny's and his ghost half would supply him with ample Ecto for proper healing.

Vlad was ecstatic, especially to tell the League that he would be taking maternity leave.

Halloween prompt no 31 (part 7)

Danny was having a rough time. His world had been destroyed by his idiot parents and now not only is he left to grieve almost everyone he loved alone, he was deaged to a small child and was forced to take care of a de-aged infant Ellie!

He never changed a diaper before, and while he's still mostly a fourteen year old mentally hewas mentally regressing at a rapid pace due to whatever Vlad shot them with before he died. Ellie is entirely a baby, not a thought behind those icy blue eyes. It was only a matter of time before he started acting his age whether he liked it or not, he needed to find safety for the both of them before that point or else they would be stuck running around the crime capital of the world at night as a toddler and a baby respectively. Even if their powers weren't shorted out they were going to get kidnapped.

So when he saw one of those bat people he only hesitated for a moment before he ran up to them and declared that they were his new Mommy. The bat lady was dressed all in black with nothing showing, the only thing that really stood out was the yellow bat symbol on her chest. She seemed to panic to a bit, trying to persuade him to go home.

He looked up at her with his big watery blue eyes, "But you are my home mommy. Don't you want us?" He asked, chin wabbling as he raised baby Dani up near his face, hoping thier combined cuteness would break her resolve.

It seemed to almost work but someone jumped down to the ally they were in and interrupted. A lady in purple said something about him, "Fitting the profile" but Dannys mind was gone at that point, replaced with the mind of a child. One that was adamant that the vigilante was his mom.

Unbeknownst to Danny, Oracle had heard everything from the beginning and patched the others through. The whole chat was in chaos trying to figure out who this kid was and how in the world someone mistook Cass in costume as thier mother.

Bruce thought raising kids and teenagers was hard, but this toddler got into everything! They kept pulling him away from the columnar trees that he insisted on trying to climb only for him to somehow get almost to the top once before crying his heart out. Someone had to get a ladder and get him down. At least he never tried to climb the tree again.

Another time he somehow got ahold of a jar of peanut butter and Bruce watched the kid shove his fist into it and lick his hand clean before repeating the process.

The baby was a saint in comparison. She didn't do much except cry. Cass had gone somewhere out of the city (probably to avoid this situation) and the boy has not taken it well. Alfred, bless him, has kept the child under control ever time he needed to while making it look easy. Bruce was jealous.

Bruce gets called dad two weeks in and bluescreens for a solid five minutes.

The attempt at keeping his voice steady didn't really work, but he was sure he was keeping a good hold on his emotions at least, since Ellie was calming down in his hold. It didn't mean he wasn't panicking inside at the situation but he was managing. He only had to make it a few more weeks before the others could come, then everything would be safe.

He got her settled in his bed, sleeping and calm now. He had a crib for her, and Jordan too eventually, but he couldn't really stand the thought of them to far. So bed it was.

Both clone and future self had been deaged due to the damage taken, done at Frostbite's direction to heal and better stabilise both. Jordan's injuries had come in defence of both him and Ellie, and, like a weird mirror, Ellie's from defending him and the injured Jordan when he was to weakened from injuries to fight. Ellie had just been deaged from it Dan, who he decided was going to be called Jordan too give himself some separateness, was reverted to his core. In an effort to protect and give him time to heal, he has him inside himself, next to his own core. He'd been warned it meant that Dan would likely take on more of being like his child than his future self, but he just wanted him alive, not like he didn't have the risk of it anyway, at least this time it was under his control.

There was no hope of returning to his dimension, it had been clear at that point, but they had been trying to free all the ghosts they could and get all liminal people and their family rounded up to safety before the GIW got to them. Danny, as the heir prince-until he was of age for the throne at 100-was sent ahead to bridge trust with another dimension, this one in fact, to see it they could bring their people, his people, there.

Clockwork and the Ancients and Observants worked with his parents and the others from town, and other liminality touched people, to get everyone into the ghost zone, which he had leaned also got called the Infinite Realms, safely and cut off that dimension from it.

Apparently that's what most magical creatures had done to that one anyway, long ago. He'd even met the descendents of the witches that had been hunted by, and thus placed the curse on, his family back when Amity was a village.

They'd lifted the, severely weakened by then but still present, curse after apologies were made and explanations done. It was a relief, even though it is likely what had even held him tethered to life enough to become a halfa at all, but he felt more at ease now without it.

All in all, it led him to where he was now though. A new world, a new set of rules, similar but still so different, and two kids that were essentially his.

The sudden crash outside his window on the alley side had him rushing over, ready to defend as best he could, still healing from the injuries in the last fight with the GIW, in case it was a villain attacking.

Only to pause at the sight of the, now likely unconscious, blue and black clad vigilante in the dumpster below.

"Fuck... Well can't leave him, who knows who'd find him there."

It took a bit of work, and mild use of his weak but still present powers, but he got him up stairs and into his apartment onto the, comfortable if he said so himself, couch.

Once there, he checked him over for injuries, careful not to take the domino off and keeping him as clothed as possible, but tending to his wounds as best possible. Doing so, he realised the other was probably only about 20-21, close to his age at least. It made him wonder how long the other had been a hero, and made a thought to ask later.

For now he settled in to make some food -that hopefully wouldn't accidentally come alive again-and keep an eye on his daughter and the hero.

Nature vs. Nurture vs. Whatever the Hell This Is

Vlad fucked up.

To be fair, just because he was smart enough to figure out how to make a clone, didn’t mean he was good at it. That became very obvious when the first few clones of Danny melted. Then Danielle destabilized, and Danny had to save her.

By the time the events of AGIT came about, Vlad thought he’d perfected the practice. Dan had a new body and a second chance at life, and Vlad now had a son like he always wanted. They both gained a family, and Danny was happy for them.

However, after a few years, Dan was the first to realize that he and Dani weren’t aging. Danny was.

Through panicked calls and the digging of old files, Vlad discovered that while he’d forcefully grown both Danielle and Dan’s human bodies to what they were now, he’d somehow frozen the intrinsic and extrinsic aging processes.

Both Danielle and Dan were more ghost than human, and with Danny finally bringing peace to Amity Park, their bodies simply did not react to any of the normal stressors in the human world. They didn’t breathe oxygen, they didn’t have to fight off world ending threats every week, and they just simply didn’t expose themselves to enough ectoplasm to continue new cell production. (They even tested this theory by cutting off a lock of Dani’s hair and waiting a few months. It didn’t grow at all!)

Their bodies were just…frozen in time.

Well, damn.

Both Dan and Dani wanted to be on their own by now, but their eternal baby faces were making it impossible. Danny was well off into college at this point, having grown into the Fenton genes quite well, and looked like their older brother or dad rather than Dan’s twin.

Cue a coming-of-age story featuring Dan and Dani as they, quite literally, try to force themselves to grow up and match their mental ages.

The Night Security

Danny decides to tag along with Dani and travel around the world. With him now being in his late twenties he decided he could use a break from all the craziness back home, and he's been wanting to spend more time with Dani.

Dani despite it being years still looks the same, they had gone to Frostbite to make sure nothing was seriously wrong, Dani was completely healthy but it seems Vlad's messy attempts at cloning alongside her also being a halfa had made it so Dani would age a lot slower than a normal human would.

Danny until that point hadn't realized that he also looked very young for a man who was almost 30, but he could just get away with it by just saying he had a baby face.

To gain money for their travels Danny decided to start doing random jobs normally he would end up with being night security since those positions weren't very popular and always had a position open or where willing to have an extra pair of eyes on the job.

With that being said Dani and his sleep schedule were completely flipped over now being practically nocturnal. They would go out shopping or have fun while the moon was still high in the sky.

Now with that being said, he had no clue why there always was at least that one person at whatever job he would have that seemed to believe he was a vampire,

Yes a vampire, and he could brush it off if it had only happened once or twice but no! This has happened in the majority of his jobs.

And look he gets it, he only gets night jobs, he hangs out with Dani outside only when the sun is nowhere in sight, and yes both he and Dani were sensitive to the sun but that was normal for people with pale skin they would burn easily and considering that pale blue eyes tend to struggle seeing with too much sun clarity especially since they're not used to being around the sun as much as before.

See he gets all those can kinda be vampire things but they where also just very normal and common human things as well.

So yes he was out here fighting vampire allegations instead of ghost ones like when he was young.

Clark turned around slightly spooked he hadn't heard the young man a moment ago, which should be impossible with his super hearing. Focusing on the man In front of him he realized that the heartbeat he was now hearing was... too slow, unhealthily so. If he had just been hearing the heartbeat he would have been sure it was from someone dying, but the man In front of him showed no struggle or weakness in spite of that.

"Sir?"

Clark snapped back into the present. "Oh! Right sorry about that, it's been a very long day usually I'm out of here long before the sun sets."

"No worries man I totally get that, I just saw that you dropped your glasses case near me and wanted to quickly return it."

"Well thank you Mr.?"

"Fenton, Danny Fenton I work the night shift here."

Dc x dp reincarnation prompt part 2

This is a lose follow-up of this post. (Quick recap if you don’t wanna go through it: this is the au where danny is a reincarnated martha wayne and sam is reincarnated thomas wayne. They fall through a portal and end up in Gotham where Sam starts getting her memory back and passes out.)

After red hood spots them, Danny gets them back to the realms coz he’s worried about Sam still being unconscious. He gets them to frostbite who’s says she’s fine and that she’s just getting her memories back. And then eventually they both get their memories back and they’re both like, omg Bruce! They assume he’s dead (I mean their murderer shot them both, it makes sense they don't dare hope Bruce is not) so they just pass the word to the whole realms that whoever can find Bruce Wayne(‘s ghost) will be rewarded by the high king of the zone. And for years nobody finds anything. Then one ghost by chance happens upon the dc dimension and sees Bruce Wayne and goes “omg it’s the prince!” So he tries to kidnap Bruce who just freaks out, fights back, and manages to escape. Maybe he overhears the ghosts talking, “the bounty/recompense was only for dead, there wasn’t a specification for if he was alive”. So Bruce is like ok these people want me dead. The whole batclan is being super protective of their dad and the ghosts just go: “the prince has children! We should bring them too right?”

Bruce contacts Constantine for help urgently. Constantine comes by and just goes, “hm, yeah. Well, basically you’re fucked.” And eventually the whole family gets whisked away to the ghost zone where they meet the grandparents.

Very Angy Baby

Dani is out traveling the world when she finds a bunch of heroes leaving the premises of a weird government building. She obviously has to explore it! Going invisible and intangible, she enters. The first 3 levels are boring, but the elevator says there's tons more to explore underground.

She's noticed immediately by the genomorphs, but convinces them not to do anything. So they start telling her that the facility is used for making clones, though there is only one left at the moment(because the Roy in the facility is the original). Obviously, she wants to meet this other clone. They don't see any problem with it. She seems to be very strong and capable.

She meets Match and notices that he's very angry and confused. She figures he could use some friends that are more durable. So she gets the genomorphs to agree to let him leave with her and she brings him to Amity Park. She introduces him to Danny and a bunch of ghosts.

Something gets said, no one's sure what, that makes him extremely angry. He started attacking. No worries though. Ghosts socialize via fighting and this guy is just the equivalent of a very angy baby ghost.
