Danny and fright knight (yea i know)

I think adter danny becomes ghost king fright knight would accept him with open arms, he's proven time amd time again to be facing stronger and morw experienced ghosts and still win, himself included.

So yeah, he has a great deal of respect for him, and just like the king before, he swears his loyalty to him.

But it dosent go as planned when, wjen fright knight did swear his loyalty to danny he gained knowledge of how long dannys been a ghost, how long he's been in existence, how much he's never been told about the ghost zone.

(danny is a minor and as the kings right hand man he needs to prepare him, so if a minor becomes king-to-be all this information gets deposited into his brain, this isn't just danny, theres just never been a minor as king, human or ghost)

Fright knight is shocked, amazed, pissed, and concerned.

Shocked that aomeone so young, not only defeated him and became king, but he deals with the struggels of having human responsibilities and dealing with getting attacked twice a day

Amazed that he could handel it, and even take it in stride, he adapted to being a ghost faster than anyone he's ever seen and adapted to the revolving wheel of enemy's, he rolls with the punches and still gets up

Pissed that they, KNOWING, still decided to make his life harded and not give him ANY information of the ghost zone! Yes he breaks rules and traditions, but thats because NOBODY TOLD HIM! he's going on a little spree tonight.

And concerned that danny dose roll with the punches, he dosent quit, stop or even hesitate, he was throwen into different world with no help and gets attacked constantly, yet he dosent quit.

Fright knight, has developed complicated feeling over danny becoming ghost king, and that he has so little information on the ghost zone.

It was Wednesday so fright knight decided to wait till Saturday to talk to the future king, help him with his responsibilities and give him a helping hand in his afterlife.

But that means he has 3 days before he has to do anything. He wonders how much time he could give to each individual who has harmed his future king.

Can Fright Knight x Batman be a thing? Is it already a thing? I just saw this post where Frighty is acting as Danny's dad and I just want something with Fredric Knight meeting Bruce like..

Bruce is happy Daimian is making friends. This new kid, Daniel "call me Danny" Knight, seems nice. Kid might be a meta or something, with the way his eyes reflect like a cats and how he seems to always be cold, but he doesn't seem to be a bad kid and his background seemed to check out.

Yesterday Damian had invited Danny over for a sleepover and Bruce was stoked. Dami is having a friend over! A civilian friend! This is so normal and great! Danny had said his father would be picking him up the next day and would show up on his motorcycle (which was apparently named Nightmare?)

Bruce is in the sitting room close to the entrance when Alfred goes to buzz the gate for Danny's father. After a few minutes, he can hear Alfred walking the man in and explaining that "young Master Damian will be down with young Daniel in a few minutes. Till then, maybe you'd like to speak with Master Bruce?"

Bruce almost falls out of his seat when this almost 7 foot tall hunk of a man walks in, with his long raven black hair with a streak of gray down the center, all pulled back into a low ponytail. His bright green eyes have that same, almost glowing, shine that Danny's have and he's got a neat bit of stubble on his sharp jaw. He holds himself tall and seems to scan the room before setting his gaze on Bruce, who is using all his will to not ogle at this gorgeous man in front of him.

He stands to greet him and, oh God, he may actually be 7ft. "You must be Danny's dad, right?" He offers his hand to shake, "Bruce Wayne. I'm happy to see my son making friends with such a nice kid."

The behemoth of a man stares at his hand for just a moment to long before he shakes it and introduces himself, "Fredric Knight. I'm also glad my son is making friends." He says with the hint of a smile, "He's been a bit reclusive since we came here and I don't believe that's been healthy for him."

The two fathers talk for a bit, Bruce doing his best to be Batman ever now and then to make sure this guy isn't a potential threat. After some time, Danny and Damien walk into the room with Danny's bags, "Hey Dad, hi Mr. Bruce. Sorry that took so long," he says as he walks over to Fred (Bruce was told he could call him that) and half hugs the man, "Dami has a snake and he let me feed her!" Fred looks down at his son and pats his head, "That sounds interesting, little prince. Was it a frightful creature?"

As father and son speak, Bruce notes how fond Fred seems of Danny. The 'little prince' name seemed cute and pretty fitting with the last name. He also notes how Fred seemed to relax just a bit the moment Danny walked into the room (the same way he would after his children returned from patrol safe and unharmed), huh.

They say their goodbyes and the father-son duo are escorted out. Bruce and Damien watch as they ride down the driveway, Danny doing his best to wave at them from between his father's arms.

"We should invite the both of them over for dinner." Bruce says with a hand on his son's shoulder, "Fred seems like an interesting character, don't you think?"

"Father,"

"Yes Damian?"

"Please do not seduce my friends father."

You know what would be a hilarious friendship? Battinson and Fright Knight. 

Scrungly wet cat boy with giant beast of a dude. Who meet because their respective charges wanted to go to the park and they are weak to said charges’ puppy eyes. Or equivalent. 

They aren’t entirely sure how they became friends, but it might have something to do with Bruce’s social awkwardness and Frigh- er- Kerian “Rian” Knight- still re-learning how to human. And their wards both climbing on top of the swings and getting stuck. That might have something to do with it as well. Along with them being in the same class.

Every Halloween Fright Knight would lead the dead to the living world and at the end of the night he would collect any that were stuck in the living world

He has not been able to do this for several centuries because he had to guard Pariah Dark's sarcophagus but now that there is a new king he can get back to his original purpose which is guiding Souls and other creatures to the realms Zone.

When he gets back King Phantom tells him he seems to have made a few mistakes he did not realize how rusty he has become.

Fun comic page practice with a rarepair! Been thinking about my own ver. of Fright Knight for a bit, and decided he's had a close relationship with Clockwork back in the day! Calling it Night Time because I think it's clever. Also messing with Clockwork's design because I can't resist! (o´▽`o)

Writing prompt 29:

The fright knight is looking for an apprentice to replace him when he fades. Something to happen soon as the king he swore loyal to is no longer on the throne.

He comes across the spirit of a young boy and decides to become a much needed mentor to the young ghost. Enjoying his time with "Jason" as he trains to become the best knight he could ever be.

A better soul than himself to take his role with the new king's blessing.

One day finding his apprentice missing one day and nowhere to be found. He asks the observers only to find his adopted son has been returned to his revived human body. To continue his human life.

Jason continues to train with his new mentor in secret as he doesn't want to share that part of his life with Bruce. Quitting his human jobs apart from being red hood as he takes the knight's place next to the king as his loyal protector.

The skills he's learned through it all valuable to his daily life. Plus the fact he saved his mentors soul from fading as he becomes the protector of the Wayne family and Jason's father figure.

Meeting his siblings gradually and becoming a promont figure in their lives.

He can cook better than Bruce that's for sure.

Danny was Damian's little brother in their past live, neither of them remember (still)

So, when the ghost king is summoned, Damian brotherly instints kick out. He don't know why he feel the urge to take this young ghost king who can't have more than 10 years and give him a bear hug, some hot chocolate and ask him everything while they eat alfred's cookies

I need more danny and fright knight

Because ots funny.

He is an ancient, terrifying knight who served as the right hand of the megalomaniac warlord ghost king's right hand. He scares other ghosts, he was so scary they created a poem or something so everyone k owes how to get rid of him.

And he looses to this, what, 5 month old baby ghost whos only been in existence for 14 years?! He's a ghost infant! AND HE LOST!!!

This needs to be adressed more.

I was thinking about how Danny cheating on a test leading to the Dan fiasco is an very exaggerated consequence of something that shouldn’t be that serious and a thing a lot of kids do at that age. 

Then after rewatching ¨Fright Knight¨ i found something more inmoral for Danny to do, which involves Danny stealing a powerful ghost artifact for his own gain even when the Fright Knight demanded his sword back and accidentally unleashing a terrible evil on Amity Park. 

Stealing a powerful ghost treasure and causing chaos in the city as result. Now why does that sound familiar?

So, instead of having his family dying for... cheating on a test, you could have Danny messing with a sacred ghost law that awakes a powerful ghost (like stealing a powerful artifact). This ghost would chase Danny into Amity Park. After a lot of struggle, Danny manages to beat them but finds out that all his loved ones have died during the chaos. Then this would lead to the events that take place in the alternative timeline.

I’m thinking this could be a better more drastic action to what Danny does in canon. Like, let this boy do something that is very questionable, something that would actually put other people in trouble. Plus, it would fit better with him turning evil that would lead to Dan’s origins.
