AT HOME FACIALS ;
♡ step one - cleanse with ur water based cleanser
♡ step two - steam ur face using a bowl and towel
♡ step three - use a facial scrub that isnt too abrasive
♡ step four - use a cleansing mask
♡ step five - use ur toner
♡ step six - make sure to moisturize always
doing this routine helps my skin to feel rejuvenated and healthy. steaming ur face opens up ur pores and helps to free sebum which in turn stops pimples from forming…💬🎀
BATH MILK ;
♡ 2 cups of milk
♡ 1 tbsp of vanilla
♡ 2 tbsp of cinnamon

bath milk is rly good if u have dry skin because its a way to hydrate and moisturize your skin. milk contains fats and proteins that can help to replenish your skin's natural moisture…💬🎀
♡ 1/2 cup of honey
♡ 5 tbs olive/almond oil
♡ 3 cups of milk
SUGAR LIP SCRUB ;
♡ mix in some vaseline and sugar (if u wanna be extra u can add some cayenne for a plumping effect OR olive oil for extra hydration)
doing a lip scrub every now and then helps to remove dead skin from ur lips and keep them soft and super adorable. i also recommend brushing ur lips every now and then and making sure to use a moisturizing lip balm…💬🎀
RICE FACE MASK ;
♡ add one cup of rice and rinse the rice 2-3 times
♡ use 1/4 cup of rice and 1 cup of water and put it into ur rice cooker/boil over ur stovetop
♡ once the rice is soft, pour it into ur blender till it becomes smooth
♡ make sure to let it cool down before you use it
the mask will last up to a week if stored in the fridge. rice is known to brighten the skin, shrink pores, and prevent premature aging with its antioxidants. it also helps protect the skin barrier and calms irritated skin…💬🎀

I wanna post some health and appearance tips because I seen someone else on my tumblr do it.
These are actually mind blowing tips that I’ve tried and tested, actually have science behind them, and make the overall process much easier, i may not have alot of followed and it’s pretty long but please read because these are actually some revolutionary tips like the type of tips that people gatekeep. But that’s not me
Some of these products might be expensive/out if the way I’m sorry, I’m 19 and live alone have been working full time since I was young. I don’t have tips for hiding anything though since I live alone and when I was at home my family never really cared anyways these are mainly tips on how to upkeep your looks while restricting so that way you can look healthy while getting skinny, but I do have some prouducts that will raise less suspicion for anyone who lives at home still.
✨ Tried and tested ✨
Hair~
Hair breaks when you’ve been restricting for a long time but these products have really helped and now I don’t have split ends. Their fine hair friendly as well, just remember shampoo your roots and only condition and oil your ends
Olaplex conditioner and the Olaplex hair oil
shea moisture Manuka honey and manfura oil intensive conditioner
Amika soulfood deep conditioner
Any shampoo with rosemary (makes your hair thicker and has been proven to be as effective as rogaine)
Tessa peays (you can find her on tiktok and YouTube) hair oil recipe and hair oil routine
Body care~
Skin gets really dry sooo
Olay body washes (literally any kind will work their so hydrating, they have a niacinimide one which works to brighten up your skin)
Any lotion with Vaseline in it (Vaseline will lock all moisture in and is the most effective humectant on the market. I don’t recommend using straight Vaseline Vaseline though because that will get all stick, just use a Vaseline brand lotion)
Body scrub once a week
Skincare~
Moisturizer. When your restricting you need to invest in a moisturizer, keep your skin hydrated
Sheet masks 1x a week. I like to use ones that are specifically food themed cuz in my head it’s giving my skin the nutrients I don’t wanna give to myself
My favorite kinds are: the tony Molly “I am-“ ones. Mediheal placenta sheet mask (my skin litterally glows after the placenta one) innisfree honey sleeping mask
I don’t recommend doing diy skincare but the only thing I will ever recommend along the lines of diy skincare is a honey and avacado face mask, makes my skin so hydrated and plump
Foods~
(Some of these might be a fear food for alot and can be a little calorie dense but they help with your appearance)
Berries: especially blueberries and strawberries (have highest antioxidants, which help your apperance)
Cherry and pomegranate juice (antioxidant thing I mentioned above)
Avacados and chia seeds (kinda high in calories I know! But they have lots of omegas and healthy fats and chia seeds are full of omegas and proteins, these will keep your skin dewy and keep your hair nice, chia seeds will also keep you feeling fuller for longer and are a natural laxative)
Eggs: protien+good for your hair
Health in general+ weight~
Quit nicotine. I know that nicotine is like a staple in our community and I myself and on my journey of trying to quitting smoking but after years it catches up to you, and it causes acne. If your not eating your body isn’t going to put that nutrients to upkeeping your face, I already have faint smokers lines around my lips. plus it makes working out easier
(If ur a girl/have female parts) you need to get a probiotic in and get regularly tested for bv and ye⭐️ast infections. You will be prone to bv and yeast “imbalances” while starving and they can cause a lot of problems from stomach bloating to lack of desire and pain and a lot of times are asymptomatic. This happened to me and caused alot of mental anguish because the pain made me question my gender identity and the bloating made the mental aspect of my e d worse and I didn’t even have any symptoms
Don’t use miralax, it’s really bad for you. Drink senna tea, it’s less suspicious and actually works faster and better than laxatives. Plus it doesn’t destroy your organs like miralax
Don’t use trendy diet pills. If your going to take anything get “Garcinia Cambodia” supplement and take it with an apple cider vinegar supplement. Get the acv pills instead of drinking actual acv becsuse it’s better on your teeth (have to be taken together, a study was done on this combination plus it’s been really helping me)
Fast instead of ⭐️ve: I’m not going to get too deep into the science of it all because I’m bad with my words and explaining but basically when your restricting I t’s actually more harmful to your metabolism, makes you crave more food and makes your hungrier making everything harder because that’s what actually puts your body into starvation mode is a constant input of extremely few calories. When your fasting your body goes into “modes” that are actually benifical to your body,metabolism, cravings and feelings of hunger. When you focus more on not eating anything for a long period of time (fasting) vs “I can only have x calories today so I’m gonna eat x and x and x” -(restricting), you’ll find it makes you not only loose weight faster but also make it feel easier
Which is why I see a lot of ppl on here say things like “I can fast so easily but restricting is so hard” well that’s because there’s literally a science to it. And a little secret, after you do general fasting a few days (not for days straight but more so one meal a day like 24 hour fasts and 16+odd hour fasts) it gets easy. It is litterallt so much easier than plain restricting
Take collegen supplements if it’s something your not afraid of because their very good for supple skin and also for hair as well recent studies and random experiments I’ve seen on YouTube have shown
Take biotin~ for your hair
Drink “sparkling ice” drinks. They 5 Cals and have vitamin B’s which are good for your metabolism

I have a question for you as a girl i truly struggle to keep up with my looks. I surely dress to impress when i go to work or when I go outside for an important meeting but on my ordinary stay at home days I don't really put any energy on how i look so I end up wearing pyjamas and messy bun , no make up... a total mess.
I tend to admire girls who has this motivation to get up everyday regardless of how ordinary or important that day is and do their hair and make up and nails dress up cute and go on about their days. I aspire to have that same mindset and energy.
Help a girl out I want to doll up and feel cute and do girly things too but I am lazy and unmotivated 🥺

Discipline! Not every girl has the motivation to get up and do their beauty routine. But, they get up anyways because it makes them feel good. It makes them feel put together and happy. It’s all about having discipline. Some days you will have motivation, other days you won’t. So, that’s why you have to get up anyways and start your routine. People always show them with all this motivation to get up. In reality, they don’t always have this motivation. They want to stay in bed all day and rot. On the other hand, if you rot all day you’ll get no where. So unless you want to get no where in life, get up. It only takes one second to get up. After you get up, you’ll realize it’s not all that bad. It’s really just all in your head. You’re this way because you let yourself. You make up excuses that only make sense to yourself. Other people who take action, won’t understand all these excuses. Maybe in the past they would understand. However, right now it’s all just nonsense. Four words, get up and start.
Slowly start incorporating new things into your routine!! It takes time to get into routine, so be patient. If you rush into it too soon, you’ll lose motivation quickly. So, take your time. As for being patient, add new things little by little. Maybe start by buying cute matching jammie sets? Maybe start by buying new satin sheets? Maybe you start by washing your sheets once a week? Maybe start by cleaning your room. There are so many things to start off with. Plus, you don’t even need to spend money to start. It’s super simple to add tasks into your routine.
Pamper yourself the night before! Maybe you wanna put heatless curling rods in, while you sleep? Maybe you braid your hair before bed instead? Maybe you pick out your outfit before hand? Maybe you shave your face, so tomorrow your makeup goes on smoothly? Maybe you take a long shower or have a bubble bath? The list could go on and on. Whatever works for you, is what’s best. Overall, take care of yourself with lots of love. Pampering yourself the night before, can help you the next morning. You will have less to worry about the next morning. Not only that, but less to do!
4. Invest in your looks!! Ofc, looking dolled up doesn’t come for free. You have to be willing to spend money on dolly stuff. “Dolly stuff” could be cute pajama sets, makeup, nail appointments, perfume, jewelry, and ofc lip gloss! Those are just a few examples though. You could invest in your looks MANY other ways. As always, whatever works best for you is what’s best. Moving on, make sure you always keep a budget. Why? Well, as much as you need to invest in your looks. You can always do diy beauty care. For example, doing your own nails, making diy lip gloss, diy face masks, diy body scrubs, etc. Super simple, self care you can make with what you already have. So, yes you should spend money investing in your looks. However, make sure you have a set budget and be wise with your money. Why? Well, because technically you can always do your beauty care at home.
5. Dressing to impress! Dressing to impress…..yourself. Honestly, dressing to make yourself feel good is a MUST. When getting dolled up. It’s rare that you see Barbie or the Bratz dresssing to impress someone. They dress to feel cute and good in their skin. So, you should do the same! If you wanna learn how to doll up, you have to up to the ogs. Aka, the Bratz and Barbie. This being said, stop thinking about others and start thinking about yourself. Also, have fun with dressing up. Pretend you’re a movie character, that always has the cutest clothes for every occasion. For work, you could dress up like a business woman. For home, you could dress up like a rich housewife. Just have fun with how you dress. Make your life seem like a runway show. Cause, who’s really gonna stop you. Well, except you.

This blog is going to be all about Indian & bollywood inspired products and skincare tips. If you also want a blog separately about Indian natural and authentic skincare or hair care I'll surely make it. 🫶
Know Your Skin Type : Identify your skin type - whether it's oily, dry, combination, or sensitive - to tailor your skincare routine effectively.
Cleanse Like a Star : Use a gentle cleanser like Cetaphil or Neutrogena to remove dirt and makeup and a oil cleaner is a must if you wear makeup daily. Opt for micellar water for a quick and effective cleanse on busy days. (But I don't really recommend it).
Exfoliate for Radiance : Incorporate a mild exfoliator like St. Ives Apricot Scrub or The Body Shop's Vitamin C Glow-Revealing Liquid Peel to slough off dead skin cells and reveal glowing skin. And my personal favorite coffee scrub from The Bombay shaving company. Don't exfoliate more than twice a week.
Hydration Is Key : Use a hydrating toner such as Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray for an instant boost of hydration or toner + mist from pilgrim works like magic (my fav 😭).
Targeted Treatments : Include a serum with ingredients like hyaluronic acid (for hydration) or vitamin C (for hyperpigmentation) if you are under 17 or 18 like me don't use vitamin c or if you want to use in very less %, I use 2% kojic acid for my uneven skin tone from pilgrim, it's very begniner friendly. (Always consult a dermatologist for your skincare don't go around seeing videos on insta and YouTube believing them). I recommend Minimalist if you want chemical bases serums.
If you are above 23 or 25 Incorporate a retinol-based cream like RoC Retinol Correxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream for anti-aging benefits. (Got this tip from mumma for y'all 😭✨️)
Sun Protection Essentials : Always apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher, such as La Roche-Posay Anthelios Ultra Light Fluid, to protect your skin from harmful UV rays. More affordable and effective sunscreens from brands — dot and key, aqualogica, Dr. Seth and wish care.
Overnight Nourishment: Use a hydrating overnight mask like Laneige Water Sleeping Mask to replenish moisture while you sleep. Incorporate a facial oil like The Ordinary's Rose Hip Seed Oil for added nourishment and radiance.
DIY Treatments Inspired by Bollywood:
- Try a turmeric, gram flour and yogurt face mask inspired by Priyanka Chopra for glowing skin.
- Use aloe vera gel like Deepika Padukone for its soothing and hydrating properties. (MY fav bolly actress btw 😭❤️)
Lifestyle Tips for Healthy Skin : Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water throughout the day people are not stupid that they are going around telling you to drink water, IT'S A MUST!. Incorporate antioxidant-rich foods like fruits, vegetables, and green tea into your diet for overall skin health.

So I dyed my hair red this weekend, and it inspired this little blurb, please and thank you 🖤 I love III so much its probably unhealthy.

Imagine soft/III Red dye covers everything in chaotic splotches. Your fingers, the bathroom sink and tub, even the walls, are all host to streaks and stains. Furthermore, several of your towels now have white bleach marks. Oh god, you think, as you scrub at the sink with nail-polish remover. What a mess.
But is it really your fault, when your boyfriend looks so good with red hair? And maybe you just wanted to be a little bit cool like him. You catch yourself in the mirror, strands of red like tiny bursts of fire shining through your hair. For a DIY job, it's not half bad. Of course, you have had plenty of practice dying III's hair, its just much harder (and you have much less patience) when doing your own.
Ever since you and III started dating, your styles and tastes had slowly started to meld. The first thing that attracted you to III was his rather eclectic fashion sense. You were immediately and intensely inspired, simultaneously wanting to be him and be with him. You felt odd the first time you put on a pair of checkered socks. You weren't sure how III would take it. His style was so original, so uniquely him, that maybe he would be upset you had copied him. But instead, he was overjoyed. He pulled you into his arms, spun you around while kissing you deeply, and told you that he loved the idea of matching you.
So now here you were, fingernails caked in red dye, hastily trying to clean up before he got home. In the middle of scrubbing down a bit of grout on the floor, you heard the front door open.
Honey, I'm home! Your heart skipped a beat, forever reacting with joy to his presence. Forgetting your cleaning, you ran your fingers through your hair, and stepped out of the bathroom to meet him.
How was your d- His eyes landed on you, big blue depths going wide. You posed shyly in the doorway, feeling exposed as his gaze raked over you. Oh. Wow.
Oh god, he hated it. You brought your fingers to your hair and bit your lip. Unsure what to say, you muttered something about having extra dye from doing his hair and wanting to try it. As you mumbled, III quickly approached you, placed his hands on your waist, and kissed you ferociously. Your breath flew out of you, and he dragged you closer. I love it so much, he said, as he pulled away to look at you. You look absolutely beautiful.
You smiled but hesitated. Was he sure? Love, I'm just a bit stunned. I always imagined you in red, but I never thought you would look this good. I'm having all sorts of thoughts now... A hungry looked touched upon his eyes, and you giggled.
He spun you around, needing to see all the angles, gassing you up as he went. Wow, I love what you did here. And this bit by your ears, it really brings out your eyes. Once you were thoroughly dizzy, he wrapped his arm around your waist and brought his finger to the ends of your hair. His hand grazed your collarbone as he twirled the newly painted red strands. Absolutely beautiful. Like a summer sunset. Your face burned. Do you think we could try something? he asked, biting his lip as he continued to play with your hair.
You nodded. Do you- Do you think I could give you space buns? You laughed, a full belly giggle that made him blush. But of course you agreed, as long as he promised not to look in the bathroom.

Journaling! - Just need a pen and paper. We are emotional beings who think A LOT. Start journaling to help yourself not bottle in emotions or thoughts.
Reading positive affirmations - save them in your notes. Try to use I am statements. Affirmations help with confidence, self reassurance, self esteem, and sticking to and accomplishing personal goals!
Reading your Bible - aaah the only book you read that reads you back! I look at reading my Bible like it’s therapy. It’s difficult and uncomfortable but yet so beautiful bc you’re changing within! You may not see the results right away but you will see the difference in how you think and act eventually
Change what you watch or listen to - music, movies, and tv shows have a huge impact on our moods, behaviors, and self perception. Try to only listen and watch things that are positive and leave you feeling happy
Going for a walk - just go outside and go for a walk! It’s stress relieving and helping with your physical fitness
Make healthier food choices - research has proven that eating healthier helps with your mental health! Plus self care is physical health too. Happy body, happy mind! - now for more physical self care things
DIY body scrub - all you need is sugar, honey, and whatever oil you have on hand! Try to exfoliate 2-3 days a week for radiant glowy skin (if you want to use it for your face too, just only use the sugar and honey, do not include the oil! You can use it on your lips too)
Cleaning and painting your nails at home - I find painting my nails so therapeutic and fun (plus you can change your nail color whenever!)
Oiling your hair and nails daily for health and growth
Doing a lymphatic drainage massages on your face every morning for sculpting and depuffing
Put castor oil on your eyebrows and eyelashes every night for growth!
make some rice water or rosemary water to spray in your hair for hair growth

hi dolls! today I’m going to show u a few skin care tips/masks which help a lot and cost less ♡
Skin brightening - Cucumber Tomato Face Pack
You can actually make a lot of masks with cucumber but my all time favorite is the brightening one. As I have acne prone skin and tend to get a lot of redness / scars I use this method a lot.

Hydrated lips - Honey sugar scrub
I mostly use this while doing my make up :) I apply this scrub before doing my make up and then start the process. After I finish with my whole face I just wipe off the scrub and apply my products. In my opinion using it that way is the best (if you’re going to do make up ofc) since your lips look "fresh".
Recipe:
Mix one teaspoon of honey with two teaspoons of sugar.
Massage the mixture into your lips and leave for 10 minutes or so.
Remove with the help of a wet face washer.
Toner - Rice water
for glowy, moisturized skin use rice water as a toner. apply twice a day after cleansing your face. you can also "steam" it , like use the steam from rice water. so good for oily skin works well for me !

Refresher / Cleanser - Clarifying Oat Face Mask
love using this once in a while because my skin feels like baby skin and the redness calms down
Recipe: Combine 3 teaspoons ground oats and ¼ teaspoon apple cider in a bowl until a smooth paste forms. Then add ¼ tablespoon lemon juice and ½ tablespoon brown sugar; stir until the mixture is even. Apply to freshly cleansed skin and let sit for five to 10 minutes, allowing ingredients to penetrate top layers of the skin. Then rub in circular motions to exfoliate and increase blood-flow. Rinse off with warm water and pat dry with a towel.
these are my most used recipes for my face (I have oily skin btw) and I can 100% say that they work well. lmk if u have questions.

DIY: How to Make Lip Scrub

Ciao lovelies! Today, let's make our own lip scrub using ingredients we can find in the kitchen!
What you'll need:

-Olive oil
-Coffee
-Cinnamon
-Any extract you want
-A container to put it in
-A container to mix it in
-Brown sugar (white is fine)
Mix all ingredients together in equal parts (except the olive oil, use less of that than everything else. I used 1/4 tbsp of Olive Oil to 2 tbsp coffee.)
My recipe:
-1/4 tbsp Olive Oil
-2 Tbsp coffee
-1 tsp extract
-1 tsp cinnamon
-1 tbsp brown sugar
This is how my lips looked after using this scrub:

They felt extremely soft and tingly from the cinnamon. I liked how this scrub smelled also thanks to the coffee. I found that the lemon extract doesn't do much.
