Ugh!!!! I saw this really awesome post the other day about an AU where Superman was taken and kept confined a la Flashpoint by Lex Luthor and given baby Conner as a social experiment or whatever and apparently I didn't reblog it or even like it and I really wanna see the post again but I can't remember which account I follow posted it and scrolling through my feed is taking forever!

Danny is from a world where everyone has wings, even if most have long since lost the ability to fly. Something about loading and aspect ratio, wings being too small, body too heavy, now mostly used as display, whatever. 

It doesn’t matter even if he had blueprints from when he was like six of a jetpack to help fly. It won’t work anyway and hey, he has his ghost form! Which uh, might be perhaps, affecting his wings which were maybe sort of scorched black and practically down to the bone thanks to the accident. 

It doesn’t matter, he swears. Though he’s admittedly relieved to see the new feathers growing in are different from Dan’s angry sunset. Even if they’re not even supposed to be able to grow back. Alright, this is fine, no one is going to notice! It’s not like everyone knows about the poor Fenton kid whose wings were absolutely destroyed thanks to an accident! It’s fine. 

He’s not flying in a half-panic towards the Far Frozen while crying because his wings are coming back and he’s so scared. He didn’t panic and instantly fled the moment Jazz pointed them out while changing the bandages. 

He definitely didn’t trip over something while wiping away said tears and blacking out from all the stress and all of his problems that he definitely mentioned to someone and isn’t keeping a secret. Definitely. 

Hawkwoman and Hawkman would like everyone to know that neither of them were expecting a very small child to be spat out of the villain of that week’s machine that should definitely not be a portal. A very small child, maybe nine or ten, with a multitude of concerning wounds both old and fresh. Which isn’t even beginning to touch on the wings. 

Feathered, like baby down despite the gnarled scars, unlike their own metallic, with the beginning of tiny specklings like stars amidst the darker fuzz peeking from the wounded flesh. 

Who?! Who dared?! It’s (at least to the forever reincarnating duo) a literal baby! They still have down! Tiny baby fuzz! Was it the portal?! Oh this villain is going to taste their maces for causing this if that’s the case! 

The rest of the Justice League would honestly like to know what just happened and are honestly unsure on if they should stop the two…

Excerpt from a fic I’m thinking about writing. Danny is the god of space, Clockwork is the god of time, with Danny being his biological son. Danny can see through time, but it’s limited, so Clockwork still sends him out to fix time

“Barry Allen.”

Barry turned, completely unprepared for the being that stood in front of him. Brilliant white hair that moved without a breeze, light blue skin with the smattering of freckles across his face, vivid, neon green eyes, sharp, pointed ears, and brilliant white teeth that had fangs. The being wore royal blue robes that covered from his neck to his feet, and were free of any logo. On the beings shoulders sat a cape of a vivid black, darker than any fabric Barry had ever seen before. On the inside of the cape were stars and galaxies, along with planets that moved around the cape. Barry didn’t know if the cape was a projection of the galaxy or if it was it’s own seperate galaxy housed inside a cape.

“You have messed with the fabric of time.” The being continued.

The man was around Barry’s age, perhaps early to mid twenties. He stood several inches taller than Barry, who stood at 6”1.

“I—“ He found his mouth as dry as cotton. The being, whoever he was, radiated power unlike anything Barry had ever seen before in his life.

Barry was terrified.

“I’m sorry.” Barry said lamely.

The being tilted his head just slightly, looking at Barry as if he were an animal. “Everything is as it should be, Barry Allen,” The being continued, “However, the fabric of time will become unraveled if we do not correct your anomaly before it solidifies.”

Barry had no idea what the fuck that meant. The confusion must have shown on his face, as the being continued to speak.

“Time is like a river,” the being said, “if you throw a pebble in the stream it will change the surface of the water until the ripples dissipate. We are riding the current, but the ripples through time are becoming more unstable.”

“How do we fix it?” Barry asked.

“Simple. I reset the timeline to the original course.”

Barry frowned. “My mother would go back to being dead though, wouldn’t she?”

“Yes.”

Barry’s eyes narrowed. He knew he didn’t have his metahuman abilities and would likely be killed by this alien if he challenged the man, but he did it anyways. “No.”

Much to Barry’s surprise, the being smiled. “I knew you were going to say that.”

It seemed as if the being was messing with him now. Barry didn’t know what to think of that.

“I don’t want to lose my mom.” Barry said, sadness creeping into his voice.

“Your life has been altered by another being who should not be altering the time stream.” The being responded.

Wait, what?

“I will spare your mother if you assist me in catching this man.”

“Yes!” He agreed immediately. “I’ll do whatever it takes. Just save my mom.”

“Be careful what you wish for, Barry Allen.” The being warned. The being turned to leave, but was stopped by Barry.

“Wait. How do I contact you? And what do I call you?” Barry asked.

“I will contact you when the timeline resets.” The being said, pulling a medallion in the shape of a gear out of thin air and handing it to Barry. “Call me Phantom.”

“What’s this for?” Barry questioned.

“Place it around your moms neck. It will save her from being wrote out of existence.” Phantom replied, then dissappeared into a bright beam of light.

Due to some dimensional fuckery because the Flashpoint timeline was written back out of existence instead of being erased Thomas Wayne is transported to a different Earth's Gotham

It's Battinson's Gotham post Riddler and maybe Robin acquisition

Like imagine Thomas trying to adapt to this different future Gotham while remaining incognito

Finding this version of his son who's also a vigilante and barely mentally functioning

When Battinson isn't stalking Thomas Thomas is stalking his son

Battinson trying to track down this mysterious figure dressed up like him thinking it's another psychopathic fanboy

Trying to parent a traumatized boy who sneaks out to track down his parent's killer while this violent Batman obsessed murderer is out there

AU where Eddie was resurrected in Flashpoint for the headcanon game?

Eddie being alive also means that Thawne has been kicking around since season 1 (but was still defeated in the finale) so that’s a possible source of conflict

The inevitable reveal that Eddie was dead before should be in the same episode (or around the same time) as the reveal that Dante died because of Flashpoint. And speaking of

The Dante situation is going to be even worse because it will feel like a life-for-a-life kind of thing. Eddie will feel super guilty about that but Cisco will only be mad at Barry. It’s really uncomfortable for all parties when the subject comes around.

Hmm. Not sure how well it would work but Savitar killing Eddie instead of Iris would be interesting.

Sometimes it's fun to think about all the versions of a WIP that you're never going to write. In that vein, let me present:

Shepard wins the Championship in their second year as teammates and nearly breaks herself doing it. Having finally beaten Garrus fair and square in ✨equal machinery✨, feeling too guilty about his accident to keep working with him, she retires from F1 on the spot.

Garrus goes on to win more Championships with Normandy while Shepard drinks and parties and throws money at things she shouldn't. He tries to reach out to her and sometimes they can talk like they used to, but she always ends up ghosting him again in the end.

She winds up dating Zaeed, who dumps her when he gets sick of her not being over Garrus. Shepard does what any reasonable person who's just been dumped by Zaeed would do, and gets really, really drunk.

Garrus winds up stumbling across her and walking her back to her room, but when he tries to say goodnight to her she just fucking bursts into tears (he hasn't seen her cry since they were ten; he's horrified)

(at no point did she go to therapy like chakwas told her to btw)

They're so normal 🥲🥲

And then they hug and make up, Garrus sleeps over, and they have lazy hungover I-love-you sex in the morning.

There’s actually several more adventures they have together before that happens, so character-wise for Theron that particular encounter is definitely going to have shades of the KotFE timeskip, at least emotionally.
