“See?” he nearly-yelled.

“Merlin, Reg. Just be a Slytherin and ask him out already! If he says no, all of us are here to dispose of the body,” Barty drawled, Evan nodding along with him.

He snorted. “He just gives such mixed signals. He says all these nice things and looks at me like maybe he likes me, but he doesn’t do anything!” 

“Maybe he’s a gentleman,” Dorcas offered, rolling her eyes.

“Maybe he needs to be less of one!” Regulus retorted.

“Maybe you need to stop talking about him and start snogging him!” Evan snapped. 

All five of them sighed. 

“Maybe Potter is forever destined to just give me headaches,” Regulus muttered.

"From you, a little bit," Dora smiled at you softly but a hint of amusement is visible in her eyes. You roll your eyes.

"It's an idea from Barty," you explain as you turn in an alley, "He wants to match our costumes for the party," you smile as you talk about your boyfriend.

"Oh and how the two lover-birds will be dress tonight then?" Dorcas asked with a smirk and teaseful tone of voice.

You glance at her with a mischievous glint, "That's a surprise," you tell her with a mysterious tone and a little smile.

"Well I can't wait to see that!" Says Pandora with an excited expression. You can't help but smile at her genuine joy.

"What will you be dressed as tonight Dora?" You ask her curiously as you enter a store full of Halloween costume.

"A fairy!" She says with a big smile and a joyfull tone, "Xeno said he agreed to be a fairy too," she adds with a dreamy expression.

"Oh that's cute," you say with a genuine look in your eyes. You walk into the little store, searching for your crown.

"Yeah, it maches your vibe. To both of you," Dorcas continue with honesty.

"I wish I was a fairy sometimes," Pandore mumble with daydreaming expression which makes both of Dorcas and you chuckle.

"What do you need for your costume Dora?" You ask her as you put a hand on her shoulder to catch her attention.

The blond girl turn to you with doe-eyes, "I just have to find wings," she says like she just reminded of what she was doing here. That makes you chuckle softly as you turn to Dorcas.

"What do you search?" You ask curiously but the girl smirks at you.

"Oh I'm just here to give my opinion, I already have all I need," she says proud of her. Dorcas is always to most organized, meanwhile you always need to go shop few hours before the party.

"Not surprising," you raise your eyebrows at her with an amused smile, "How will you be dressed then?" You narrow your eyes.

"A mermaid," she reply with a satisfied smile.

"Wow, that'll for sure catch a certain rocker girl attention," you smirk as you turn, fakely searching a crown in the middle of t-shirts. You love teasing Dorcas about Marlene, she always get rilled up and flustered.

And that time doesn't differ as you receive in the face a single boot. "Hey," you reply with a fake annoyance, "You know, one day you'll have to admit your more than obvious crush," at your words she throw you the second boot as you giggle.

As the night fall, the Halloween party began in the Griffindor's common room. Obviously because it has been host by no others than the Marauders, and you can't blame them.

Everyone is dancing and bouncing at the wizard music rhythm as the room is poorly lighted by red, blue, yellow and green flashs. The common room is crowed and the floor is covered in a dim fog, probably by Sirius.

When you enter the room, your eyes immediately search for your boyfriend that appears at your side in less than two seconds, his hand coming in the small of your back in a possessive manner.

"Hi my princess," he murmurs in your ear and you can't help but grin widely at the sound of his voice.

"Hey..." you turn your face toward his and get on your tip-toes to leave a kiss on his lips. But before you can't pull away he deepens the kiss, putting his hands on your hips and pulling you against him.

"I missed you," you mumble against his lips and his hums. He takes your chin in his hand and lift your face before leaving a soft kiss on your nose.

"Miss you at every second, princess," he reply with a side grin but a tender tone. You can't help but melt, you're so weak for this man.

"Okay, lover birds, enough of this or go find a room," you hear a familiar voice in your back.

"Mind your buisness Black," Barty roll his eyes but let go your chin anyway, putting his hand around your waist instead to keep you by his side.

You turn to look at Sirius, dressed up as a pirate. You're quite sure that Remus is dressed as his treasure, and that thought make you internaly laugh.

"What are you two dress as, huh? I thought you'd come with matching costume," Sirius say with a confuse expression. You look down at your costume, a bustier dark green dress that gives royal vibe. Then you glance at Barty and his blood strained clothes.

"We're matching," you frown and look up at Sirius who looks even more confuse now. This make Barty smiles, snaking his arm around your waist to pull you even closer from him. He lean his face down until his lips brush against your ear.

"D'you think he'll guess before the end of the night?" He whispers with an amused tone which makes you laugh in front of a, now, very confuse Sirius.

Though Remus don't wait any longer to joint the three of you, the golden of his costume giving you all you needed to know about your previous suspicions. The boy with the scars look up and Barty up and down with an analytic look before smiling widely.

"Oh Killer Queen, very smart," he acknowledge with an approving nod, passing his arm around his boyfriend's shoulders.

"Wh- How did you guess that so fast?" Sirius ask in disbelief. As Remus surf his shoulders with a giggle Sirius grabbed his face, "By Merlin, you're so smart, I love you," he told him before kissing him deeply. That makes you giggle and Barty lead you further in the party with a roll of his eyes.

There you notice Dorcas leaned against a wall of the red and gold common room, she's staring at Marlene who's at the opposite side of the room.

You approach her, Barty still glued to your side. As she sees you coming, Dorcas glance at you and Barty with a smirk, "Walk him like a dog I see," she says with a scoff.

Barty glare at her, "Well at least I'm not acting like a creep, staring at my crush all night from afar," he replied with a mean grin on his lips. You roll your eyes and decide to change the topic when you see Dorcas ready to jump at Barty's neck.

You look down at her, admiring her mermaid costume. She truely looked stunning tonight, wearing a bustier with a tight blue siren dress. Her make-up too is incredible, she was ravishing. "Dorcas you're beautiful," you tell her genuinly, "Oh Merlin, Marlene is gonna faint the second she sees you," you add with an amused smile. It's a little revenge for Barty that can't help but scoff in your back.

"Okay I'm leaving now," she says sternly with a roll of her eyes. Though you can see the nervousness in her eyes and you chuckle. You turn your eyes on your boyfriend.

"You're stunning too my darling, the most beautiful person here at my not so humble opinion," he smirks and wet his lips with his tongue like he wanted to devour you. Then you look up at him with an almost bashful expression when he leans closer to whisper in your ear, "And I love this crown on your head, you deserve a crown on your head, my queen." His lustful smile gives you chills and you mentally shake yourself.

"Thanks..." you say as you feel your cheeks turning warm. You look down at his outfit, taking in his white shirt stain in fake blood and his fake knife in his hands.

"Didn't know you were so sexy covered in blood though," you smile mischievously, biting your bottom lip between your teeth.

"Yeah?" He asks as his smirk widen, "You like the blood? Do you like the knife too?" He adds as he put the plastic blade under your chin to make you look up at him.

You hum a yes, your smile clearly teaseful, "I could get use to it, yeah..."

"Oh and they wonder why I love you," he sighs in a yearning manner, his eyes desperatly lustful. His words makes you blush and you can't help but smile almost shyly at his attention. He puts both his hands on your cheeks and lean in to kiss you deeply again.

I love Regulus. With all my heart, I love him!

But is there no more Wolfstar without Jegulus? 😟 It feels so wrong to be saying this because I usually do not care as there is always an option to scroll down and away. But it seems like, with this particular ship, it is kind of impossible. I used to love coming to this app and scrolling the wofstar tag for hours, but now every second post is either paired with jegulus or have a hint of it.

And no, I’m not a hater. I have read and loved the popular fics of this ship (crimson rivers and choices and etc) but I just could never bring myself to ship these two characters?

Maybe it’s because I love Jily and grew up reading Jily, although I genuinely don’t think Jegulus is a threat to it or anything; I thoroughly believe that no ship becomes lesser if a character is being shipped with multiple other characters - that’s fine with me.

I do think Jegulus minimizes Regulus’ role in wolfstar fics. I still wanna read about him as Sirius’ brother and their complicated relationship, as a competition to James to see who is a better brother to Sirius, a friend or rival to Remus - any and all sorts of non-romantic relationship with the marauders and even fics that explore Regulus’ character individually… but lately, all I’m getting is “oh yeah, sirius and regulus have a complicated relationship because of their parents but now its all magically fixed (or became even more complicated) because of james!” Like, no thanks.

But idk, I just can’t get rid of the feeling that Jegulus is being shoved in the face a bit? Or maybe its just me. I never had a problem with Jily or Dorlene or Fralice as background ships in Wolfstar fics, like I do with Jegulus.

And this post isn’t leading to anything… it was just a rant. I didn’t mean to offend anyone with it, everyone is entitled to ship anyone and anything they want… it was just triggered in me because I see so many Jegulus posts just because I like Wolfstar, and lately it seems like the two ships aren’t separate.

Mary x Pandora x Lily

In my eyes they’re all different subgenders with pandora being an omega (I see her and regulus bonding over being omegas), Lily being an alpha, and Mary being a beta. Mary would be a bottom in my eyes while both pandora and lily are vers which does lead to pandora topping Lily from time to time. They don’t really believe in traditional dynamics and instead prefer to have everyone on equal footing. Lily sometimes struggles with her possessiveness though and will growl at Mary for kissing pandora before snapping out of it. Lily and pandora are mated and Mary is honorary mated to them as well since she can’t be physically. Heats and ruts are handled by all three of them together though Mary does have to take a back seat in the beginning sometimes. Pandora’s nest is kinda just their room as a whole. It’s full of a lot of fluffy things, things from friends and family, and just stuff that makes her happy. She doesn’t have very many traditional nesting urges and struggled with that growing up since she thought it made her a bad omega. Then Lily and Mary swooped in and showed her how wrong she was.

I think they’re either both alphas or both omegas honestly. I think it would add to the scandal of them being together as not only is narcissa with someone of “lowly” birth but they’re also the same sub gender?! How dare they. If they were both alphas, they would mutually claim each other and be insanely possessive together. They growl at anyone who dares to look at their mate for too long and would/have fought off omegas who couldn’t take a hint. Their ruts aren’t synced thankfully so when one is in rut they can use the other however they please. They tried to hire an omega once to help with their ruts and it was a shit show. So now they just stick to each other and use lots of lube. If they’re both omegas, they would try to mutually claim each other but it would never stick, always healing to nothing. So every heat they re bite one another just so it’s there for as long as possible. They don’t share a nest as narcissa prefers to have hers a very specific way and hates when others are in it while alice just wants hers to be cozy and smell like her mate. They often sleep in Alice’s nest as it brings them both comfort. They also have a shared heat cycle and will spend 4ish days just fucking each other with their hands, tongues, and toys until they collapse. (TW: pregnancy and children) i think once they reach like 25 they realize they want kids as well whether they’re both omegas or alphas. If they’re both omegas then I think they would ask an alpha friend to be a sperm donor and the next time they go into heat together use an impregnating toy to fuck cum deep into one another. They want to be pregnant together and this is just the best (and most fun) way. If they’re both alphas then they would find an omega or beta surrogate and kinda do a roulette as to whose bio baby it’ll be. They have two kids in the end and it’s Neville and Draco.

Dorlene

Alpha Dorcas Omega Marlene. I don’t make the rules. I think Marlene is a very loud and brash omega who would often claim to never need or even want an alpha. She would grow up hating the idea of an alpha having control over her and would laugh in any alphas face who tried to hit on her. That was until she met Dorcas of course. It was almost instantly that she felt her inner omega purr and show its belly to Dorcas, needing to be her mate as soon as possible. Marlene would refuse this and would avoid Dorcas for months but of course Dorcas just kept showing up again and again. When Marlene finally had enough, she shoved Dorcas into a closet and asked why she was following her. Dorcas just looked at her funny and pointed out they work together or some shit which made Marlene even more mad so she kissed Dorcas to get her to stop making valid arguments. I don’t think Marlene is fully submissive to Dorcas. I think they have a very equal relationship where they both fight for and protect each other. Marlene can get a bit wound up though and may need Dorcas to take her out of her head but I mean who doesn’t get like that sometimes. Marlene prefers to have a very small and compact nest that’s only really meant for one. It’s her comfort space and the only time Dorcas is allowed in is if its for designated repheromoning times (which is just when they cuddle in the very small nest so it’s smells like a mix of them again every week or so). Marlene does get very bossy and dominate during her heat though and will prefer to be on top as much as possible.

Dorothea - Dorlene - 361 words

The snitch is caught just as Dorcas throws the quaffle through the goal, and the commentator announces a Gryffindor win. Sighing defeat, she flies back to the ground to hordes of people running onto the pitch and congratulating the winning team. Dorcas ignores them all and storms off to the changing room only to come to a halt as she sees a girl throw her arms around Mckinnon. 

She knocks into that girl as she walks past them, throwing her middle finger up over her shoulder when she shouts, “Watch it!” 

She’s desperately in need of a cold shower to wash all the sweet and the loss away, but of course her day just keeps getting worse. 

“That’s not cool, Meadowes,” Mckinnon exclaims as she catches up to her. “What did she have anything to do with you losing?” 

“Nothing,” she bites. “I just don’t like her.” 

“You don’t know her.” 

“And I don’t want to.” Mckinnon walks next to her for a few steps, before Dorcas turns to her, “Go back to celebrating with Dorothy.” 

“Dorothea,” she corrects, then has the nerve to smirk at her. “But is that a hint of jealousy I hear? What. annoyed you don’t have a boyfriend to console you?” 

“If I wanted consoling, I would never go for a boy,” Dorcas retorts. “Besides, why would I ever be jealous of you?” 

“You would never go for a boy?” 

Dorcas rolls her eyes, and continues to the changing room, which Mckinnon follows her in to despite it not being her team’s one. “Piss off, Mckinnon.” 

“Only if you answer one question.” Dorcas sighs and allows her to ask. “Are you actually jealous?” 

“No.” 

“So, if I go and kiss her, you wouldn’t care.” Mckinnon grins at her silence. “Would you care if I kiss you?” 

“That’s a stupid question, you’re with her.” 

“Only to forget about my crush on you.” 

“Your what?” 

Marlene’s smile is softer than she’s ever seen it. Dorcas wastes no time after that confession, grabbing her robes and pulling her in. Marlene melts into the kiss, and Dorcas forgets why she was ever such a bitch to her to begin with.

hello! so I was just editing the first half of the next chapter of AATT and it is going to be up tmrw. Slight spoilers, but not really: it's the last chapter before the summer after their fourth year, and I wrote a part that I'm actually dying for you to see, and I hope you understand the parallels between the Prewett twins and the Weasley twins. I'm actually so excited for tomorrow's chapter sjditpljshstdk Also, I feel like whenever I write about Evan and Regulus, I'm always thinking about them in crimson rivers (SLIGHT CRIMSON RIVERS SPOILERS WARNING!! ) in the back of my mind and it makes me write them as really close because they deserved to have their friendship!! so yeah, they make me cry 😔 ooooohhhhh and there are some Dorlene hints in the next chapter. Usually I write romance? I'll read other things, but romance is what I enjoy writing. BUT!

I have one fic that is mostly platonic prongsfoot with a hint of pre-wolfstar, if you're interested! It's James and Sirius discovering Nerf guns :D

One of my longfics, Long Story Short, had a qpr between Sirius and Marlene that I'm super proud of. It also has Dorlene, Wolfstar, and Jegulus, but (not to sound braggy) I really love how Sirius and Marlene interact in it.

I'm also always willing to look at requests people send! I'm a bit behind right now but if you send one, I'd love to try it! I love a challenge!
