1. We are/were literally the only people each other have, we probably had/have codependency issues but we’re working on it through becoming friends with the other main characters, we are very different in some ways but at our cores we are the same, we have faced a lot of grief and expectations in our lives, and our bond is incredibly strong. 

2. Fuck you, bitchass. You think I give a shit about you? You’re right but I’m fucking mad about it. Cain instinct bitch, there can only be fucking one. We are literally so distinct from each other that we share maybe like 2 personality traits and maybe loyalty to our designated region but even that’s debatable. Some people don’t consider us siblings. Sibling rivalry. I do not trust you even a little, but you need to tell me everything that you’ve been up to or I’m going to scream. I am going to kill you but if anybody else tries I’m probably gonna lose my mind. I will kill every archon for you. I hate you. Get out of my sight you punk ass loser. Also you owe me 200 mora from when I bought you that toy when we were too young to understand the meaning of money, pay up asshole. No wait don’t pay up I need to hold that over your head the next time we have an argument so that I don’t lose ground when you bring up something I did that was WAY WORSE THAN THAT.

I have a thought about Reverse Robins au

Basically I saw something about how Reverse Robins is just Robins with their names changed, so Damian has Dick's personality, Tim has Jason's and so on. Something else I'd like to point out is that most of the time they still all had used the name Robin which...I don't think they would have? If I remember correctly (Which I might not be so please correct me if I'm wrong), Robin was originally used because it was a nickname that Dick's mother had used for him which is one of the reasons why Dick gets so pissed at Bruce in one of their fights about Jason taking over the mantle.

With that being said I think that tension about being replaced wouldn't be as prevalent as it is in these fics, at least not in the sense of "Robin" but as siblings. I realize "replaced" isn't the right way to describe this in more of a sibling dynamic, what mean is when siblings get jealous of each other(typically of the younger siblings) when the attention of the parent/s moves off them, if that makes any sense.

Something else the post I saw pointed out was that we never see Steph, Duke, or Cass in these fics and like...why don't we??? It's almost like they don't exist at all, or maybe people are just forgetting about them because they're "not Robins"(even though Steph was Robin at one point but I won't get into that here).

One thing that I'd like to put out there; why is it just the robins/batfam being reversed? I'd love to see the other teams being reversed as well, superman, flash and arrow for example. Idk, I just think it'd be interesting if we branched out a bit to other families/teams with this same concept. I will say it is interesting to see Reversed Robins interacting with each others teams in the fics that branch out to it.

I guess that's one of my main things though, similar to the post I saw(which unfortunately I'm unable to find again) is that it's just the Robins..with their names being switched but keeping the personalities of the original order. I would love to see the dynamic change with the actual characters changing. Yes, Damian becomes the oldest and Dick becomes the youngest, but they're still Dick and Damian; two completely different characters with their own issues that wouldn't change to be like the other just because the order of their ages have changed. The same goes for Jason and Tim.

Idk, I just think that there are so many things that could be done in this au that isn't being taken advantage of. If they wouldn't be called Robin what would their names be, and if the order they're taken in by Bruce and their ages changed how would that affect their dynamic and their stories? Would their stories be changed drastically or would they stay relatively the same with only a few minor changes for it to make sense? Obviously there are parts that are integral to their character that can't/shouldn't be changed without changing the character too much, how would people work around that? How would their relationships with the people around them change, even if they're the only ones who's ages are being switch around or not? Again, there are so many things that could be done to make it more interesting in my opinion.

All this to say, I do love the Reverse Robins Au, I just wish people would take a little more creative liberty with it. I also would like to know other peoples thoughts on this as well.

What do you think about Camilla/Charles? I don't know what to think, was Camilla forced to sleep with him prior to his deterioration/alcoholism or was it out of choice earlier? Because if she was indeed initially doing it consensually.....it would baffle me, considering how romanticised she is in this fandom, and apparently criticising her means you're a misogynist.

I agree w u sooooo much. Anyway, I do think it was consensual starting out (which must have been their teens probably). Now, not to imply that power dynamics don't exist even in siblings (you know older siblings have more of an influence on a younger sibling) and you know, especially in that time, a brother would have more influence/power over a sister.

THAT BEING SAID. Them being twins becomes very significant. Not only are twins a symbolism of mirror imagery (so then they are "equals") and the power dynamic might still exist but it wouldn't be as pronounced. Additionally, Camilla and Charles' similarities are focused on intensely in the book. Donna didn't just do this randomly (writers seldom do), and she didn't do it just to focus on Camilla's boyishness, at least not in my opinion.

It leads me to believe the relationship between them very much started out consensually, though the whys might remain murky. The loss of one's parents will cause trauma and everyone deals differently w it, idk, I don't want to say it was their way of coping bcs it just seems.....weirdly disrespectful.

I see people always bashing on Charles for what he became towards the end of the book, but Richard remains a well liked figure despite literally fantasising about r wording camilla. Curious.

I like Charles, perhaps even a bit more than I like camilla. (In the first part). He seemed more human and likable to me 🤷‍♀️ Not henry, not Francis, not Richard and not camilla possessed the reluctance or empathy when they, in a very cowardly manner, murdered someone who had thought of them as friends. Richard might have expressed grief and regret later on, but I take anything he says with a grain of salt, since he most likely only wants to paint himself in a better light. It was Charles who seemed truly broken after what they did, which makes me think he was better than all of them, which makes his corruption and deterioration even more sinister and tragic.

And I'm sorry you feel that way, but its so valid. To those people who bully others for their dislike of a fictional female character (yes. Very feminist of you to bully women (and others) for not liking the fictional character you can project on. Where would international feminism be without your tumblerina war on members of a niche fandom.) Camilla is not a feminist icon. She would not like you if you were another girl in her class because she thrived off the attention she got on being the sole girl in a pack of boys. Maybe its because Richard's hyper romanticised version of her is so vivid that most of you forget what camilla really was like, and even if you dont care for/congratulate her for being a "girlboss" man manipulator (for leading them on and playing a weird game of incestous jealousy with her incestous brother)-- i dont know, incest just makes me uncomfortable, and I kinda lose respect for characters who engage in it consensually. First time they hold hands: pre-romance. Jon's powers shorted out and he fell outta the sky. Damian caught him by his hand just in time, and when he pulled him to safety he just...didn't let go. Jon noticed but didn't say a WORD.

First Time Damian fell asleep on him: Probably right after the relationship started/became official. They'd both had a rough hero week and Damian had been on edge just, forever. So they sit against a wall in the cave and one second they're sitting there in silence and the next, Damian's dropping against his shoulder already konked out. Jon panics for half a second but then Dick sees them and says 'He only sleeps when he feels safe.' and those words shake Jon to his core.

Baby names: This is all Jon. Jon just starts rambling about it one day. "How would we honor both our cultures? Or do we at all? Do we go with an -El name, or a name from your mom's side or just call him Bob?" Damian is endeared for a while but quickly gets so fucking annoyed because every name is more ridiculous than the last.

Siblings help: Jon obviously asks Kon and Kon is SO. JACKED. TO. HELP. He hesitates a little when he finds out it's Damian but, honestly, the kid is at least alright. Damian, much to the Kents surprise, does NOT ask Dick or even Tim. He consults Cass first, who asks Steph to standby as she gives her advice, and Jason, for reasons mentioned in previous asks in that he's a sucker for a classic romance novel so, clearly, he is An Expert.

Eloping: Honestly? Yes. And it happens at the same time one of them (I'm thinking Jon) says I love you for the first time. The other reciprocates (Damian) and one of them (Jon) sarcastically says 'really? well damn let's just go get married right now.' and Damian just goes. "Okay." and.......................they do. Maya officiates, Kathy is the witness, and the only family in attendance is the pets. (Goliath is flower girl)

First kiss: First kiss is at a Wayne Holiday gala/Justice League xmas party not long after they started dating and the end up under mistletoe. They do the hesitant peck thing first but then oh boy they like it and mmmmmm Clark and Bruce might have to rethink allowing sleepovers anymore.

Chillin': Jon gets so entranced when Damian laughs he literally just stops functioning. He will stop and stare and was even caught drooling a little bit once. (by Jason, no less.) If he's with Damian/it's just them, if Damian's laughing, he'll start laughing and just pull Damian as close as he can and they just keep laughing together.

SOFT FOREHEADS: There's some world-ending situation and they've been separated for most, if not all, of it. The day is saved and they're finally reunited on a rooftop somewhere. And they run desperately at each other but when they reach, they know the whole League is watching them and Damian's not big on PDA (and tbh neither is Jon, if only for protective reasons) so they just grab each other's hands and stare deep into each other's eyes until one of them well up with tears and closes his eyes and they just ~gentle forehead touch~

ah i think you're more charitable than i am... i don't think most people who know them would be okay with it. they all probably know to varying degrees -- especially their close friends -- it's the deniability that saves it for them, that makes them able to ignore all of it. the avengers (the ones that are close to them, that is) all know, all have seen the twins in weird situations, but they've gotten very very good at looking away. none of them want to know. i think they'd be highly uncomfortable if they came out with their relationship officially, because that'd mean they can no longer ignore it, y'know? i don't think most would start a fight about it or a confrontation or anything, but they'd get weird around the twins.

(on a side note, i think clint is one of the people who'd get actually angry for a while lol. that moment when you're bisexual and your two crushes are dating etc etc. also i think carol would ask wanda if she's alright, if pietro's forcing her into anything, which would make wanda really mad. janet i think is smart enough that she's realized for a long time they're in love & knows something like that isn't going on but she wouldn't be very comfortable, either. the one i think who's most likely to "accept" it is actually tony bcuz i think he genuinely wouldn't give a fuck lol)

that aside! now for the ones you actually asked about lol. ah it's difficult.

magneto - depends on when he'd find out. during brotherhood times, i don't think he'd care, because he didn't really care about them to begin with. once he finds out they're related, at the very beginning, i think he'd be appalled but there isn't anything he can do about it, since he's an absent father trying to reconnect and has no rights to his children. once they're in the family dance for a while, he's grown a bit demanding, esp towards pietro, if that makes sense? so i think he'd probably argue with them about it lol. i don't think he'd like it, not so much bcuz of personal disgust, but mostly bcuz of optics. but also bcuz he has a desire for his children to live normal, happy lives (as much as he has trouble showing them that normally lol) and i think he'd think that would interfere with that. he's also very good at ignoring it, however -- before he'd officially find out, ofc, but after, too. he just conveniently "forgets" it. maybe starts introducing both of them to other people. they hate it.

lorna - i think lorna knows. i think she's known for a long time and while she was disgusted by it at first (and also strangely jealous; she doesn't want either of them but they've always been so close and she never had that. she doesn't have a sibling that's primarily hers, if that makes sense) i think she came to terms with it over time, enough so that she'd be pretty alright with it if they went official.

i honestly don't know about magda, django, marya and natalya... i think magda would have a lot of compassion after everything they've been through, but would treat it as an unfortunate side-effect of all of the twins' trauma, if that makes sense? she loves them a lot, though. the rest of them i don't know. i can't see any of them liking it, but marya and django might just be happy they're both alive and happy, you know? i feel like natalya would want more for them, similarly to magneto, bcuz she doesn't quite get it. but no one does. so yknow.

so billy and tommy are their kids. we know this. i think tommy wouldn't care, tbh. i can't see him being fazed or disgusted by it, also i think he'd be happy to find out pietro is his dad. they already get along, and he doesn't have a lot of people who care about him, and who want to spend time with him (vision never did lol). idk about billy..... i think he dearly loves them both but i think he might just think wanda could do better (lol). i think he'd be vaguely uncomfortable, but pietro would never play dad if billy didn't want that, so i think they're fine-ish? he'd probably get used to it eventually even when he's not thrilled. idk if he'd ever see pietro as his dad. also i think he's also known for a long time but he hasn't gotten over it like lorna has.

as for luna....... honestly she's genuinely a weird kid. she can see people's emotions & i can't see her caring much about "human" taboos. she's from a royal family, and her aunt's husband is also her aunt's (distant) cousin. i think she'd be fine, lol. she can see the love between wanda & pietro -- and tho she probably didn't realize (or didn't want to; bcuz that'd make things complicated) that it was romantic, too, she'd be relatively fine, just happy that her father's happy. she's long since been over crystal and pietro's marriage, so that doesn't bother her, either.

favorite thing about them: I love how much PIZZAZ he adds to the early game! How can I not like a character with such a flamboyant, demanding personality whose very presence is enough to make everyone react with shock, contempt, laughter, and awe? Navarre is an ass, but a necessary ass to carry the early narrative and add so much excitement to it. I cannot help but giggle to myself everytime he appears. AND THEN, all that character growth in IVA towards becoming a better, more self-aware ghostie. Ohhh I love he so muuuch~

least favorite thing about them: Definitely the unnecessary perversion in IVA. Enough said.

favorite line: The "dawdling Casualries" line will always hold a special place in my heart, but I am also really fond of the stuff he says when you speak with him during the training drills in one of the rest spots,

"O-Oh, it's you… I thought you to be a demon. Don't start me so… I've never carried a blade any heavier than a knife before. If Mother were to see me dashing about with such a weapon in hand, I think that she would faint…"

And

Bad edit aside, can't forget the actual bros, Navarre and Gaston lmao. I really enjoyed their sibling relationship and it opened up so much insight into their familial life and personal struggles. I'm so so happy they got to rekindle at the enddd, it was so sweet

OTP: Everyone knows that I am the sole resident of the Issachar x Navarre Crack Ship Kingdom!! Idgaf that they've never canonically met nor even know of each other's existence, the POTENTIAL between them is enough to keep me content and well fed! We support random rarepairs in this house!

I also really like Flynn x Navarre too and they're my second fave Navarre ship, for much the same reasons!

nOTP: Needless to say, my NOtps would be pairing Navarre with his brother or any of the IVA kids. Eeeugh. Enough said.

random headcanon: It's something I've been wanting to analyze in more depth, and IDK how much of this is actually canon or headcanon considering, but I very much fancy the idea of Navarre always having close connections with the Samurai seniors and keeping close tabs on the Rite and new inductions. He's very astute with the going-ons in Samurai business and likely has been anxiously watching them for quite some time.

unpopular opinion: I understand that Navarre is a very unlikeable character, and he's supposed to be! But it honestly does get really bothersome seeing how much dismissal, if not outright hate, he gets in the fandom. Navarre IS an important character within the early game! It is his very antics that adds the necessary tension and tone needed to carry the early narrative and worldbuilding. It does admittedly make it hard for me to approach other SMTIV fans because I like this bean so much.

But that is okay. I am perfectly content with those who seek out, stick by, and enjoy my bean musings. :)

Quetza claims to be either the reincarnation, descendant, or chosen one of the ancient god Quetzacoatl. The answer differs each time you ask her, but it's hard to deny. She's a snake born with wings and she has magical abilities, specifically control over wind and air, and shapeshifting, which is why she has four arms. She travels the world, looking for clues about her true nature. She has an easy going nature and can be shy, but opens up quickly to those are friendly to her. She loves fashion, junk food, and video games. She doesn't like to fight, but can defend herself if she needs to, using gusts of wind to fly around and using her shapeshifting to extend her arms or tail for quick strikes.

✨How did you come up with the OC’s name?

She's inspired by the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl, the winged serpent god. Quetzalcoatl means "precious serpent" in the Nahuatl language, so her name could roughly be translated as Precious the Snake!

She also used to be a rattlesnake cos I thought it would be cute if she rattled when scared/angry. IDK, might bring that back.

I like snakes and I always thought the idea of a snake with wings was cool. I really fell in love with the concept of Coatls in D&D a while back so I wanted to make that my 'sona.

No problem! If you do want to get into Welcome Home, the website can seem intimidating with how much has been added to it but try not to be disheartened! Take it at your own pace and discover things naturally, or look up a guide if that’s more your speed! But I just got the BIGGEST My Hero Academia spoiler about Dabi and im having a whole conniption right now😭

And I wanna talk about it SO BAD but I don't want to spoil anyone else bc spoilers suck and most ppl hate it.

Back when I first started watching MHA which was just like a few months before S6 was released, when I first saw Dabi's character I IMMEDIATELY fell in love with him.

Now...I'm not someone that goes out and looks for spoilers cuz I don't really like being spoiled. But sometimes I get spoilers anyways 😭 but it doesn't bother me too much, mostly bc 9 times out of 10 I'll completely forget about it by the time I get there in the show anyways lmfao (the ADHD habit of literally forgetting everything 5 seconds after it happens)

But the ONE and ONLY time I actually purposely sought information/ spoilers was right after Dabi was introduced and I wanted to know absolutely everything there was to know about this man, and I was too impatient to wait for it to come up in show (especially since this was before S6 release so TECHNICALLY him being a Todoroki was still a spoiler for anime only ppl)

Therefore, I dug up everything I could and there are lots of things I know about Dabi's back story that even still are not in the anime, however, THIS information that i just got was very much so new to me😭😭

And while maybe this might not be as big of a spoiler as I'm making it out to be, it certainly feels that way as a Dabi fan

I don't even know any of the details, or how it happens, or when, or what triggers it, I just know the singular detail of information and that it's from the final arc

And again, maybe I'm over reacting 😭 cuz I really love Dabi SO MUCH and this bit of info just like is such a game changer. And it's really such a slap in the face to Enji (deserved) and also it's like...So fucking awesome, but when u really think about it, it's a bit sad in some ways?? Bc of all the trauma he had to go thru in order to get here, and how that really could have been avoided if Enji wasnt such an abusive father.

And also like.... the relationship this could have created between Shoto and his older brother🥲 I know Dabi hates him because of the favoritism Enji played and Shoto got everything that he felt like he deserved, and all of the attention that he craved. But like honestly i wish for nothing more then for them to have the wholesome sibling relationship that I see is fanarts😭😭 bc both of them deserve so much love, especially after how they were both abused by the same man, just in different ways. And I feel like, if Touya had been allowed a normal childhood, this new info would have created a bond between them that just would have been so sweet and wholesome 😭😭

I just want him to feel loved🥲 but I'm like fr losing it over this spoiler even tho it was a such a tiny piece of information and I just needed to say SOMETHING while still trying my best not to spoil others

idk, i don't get that personally. i think their relationship seemed fairly standard for siblings.

on the show we have:

billy yells at max

billy grabs max's wrist

billy broke her skateboard

billy doing the classic 'gonna run someone over to scare you'

on the flip side:

max actively fucking around by sneaking out which lands billy in trouble with neil (leading to neil physically and verbally lashing out at billy)

max threatening to bash billy with a nail bat

and we can't forget the Mysterious Reason they moved to hawkins which seems to be both their faults??

pretty volatile overall, but it's sibling shit and should be viewed in the context of an abusive household.

+ it seems like things were better in s3, so???

max said billy made her life hell, but she never gave specifics, so we really only have the show to guess what that might mean.

the antis who spam about billy being abusive are coming at their relationship from an angle that billy = Personification of Evil, when really it's billy trying to survive under abuse and taking out his anger/feelings of helplessness on max, who knowingly instigates billy's punishments by acting out.

neither one deserves what's happening to them and it's a shitshow on both sides.

Ahhh thank you for asking! I don’t have a clear plan right now, honestly. It’s just something I’m thinking about ever since the lovely @745voiceofthepeople brought up the idea

I won’t be officially starting a new project until Happenstance is done & we have a looong way to go 😉 I did start the outline for & write a few scenes for a Scream AU but idk this IT AU idea just really grabbed me. I mean - aside from my love for IT, how enticing is the idea of a demon that feeds on trauma, from a writing perspective? C'mon, there's sooo much you can do with that, narratively. More thoughts under the cut 'cause this got long & rambly!

Just - can you imagine the Gaang as the losers club? I just feel like the whole coming of age & overcoming trauma theme could totally work with their characters. I was playing with the idea of the Fire Nation kids starting off as bullies but NOT popular kids. Just really mean kids that everyone is scared of. But then they have to team up with the Gaang against Pennywise & the losers club is formed. That's obviously very different than the dynamic between the losers & bullies like Henry in IT but...I think it might work, in this AU setting as long as it's clear that everyone involved is a loser who has been hurt by the town because that's core to the story.

I don't think saying "this character will play this character" really works for this AU. Basically - it's a group of traumatized kids fighting an evil sewer clown, not everyone has to fit an existing role as long as I'm true to that.

But like - in terms of inspiration off the top of my head -

Sokka is likely gonna take heavy inspiration from both Ben & Richie. Obviously, I'd give Ben's engineering ingenuity & interest in architecture to Sokka. I forget if the mini-series includes the bit about the losers club building such a good dam that the city makes them take it down because Ben is just THAT good but the new movies definitely do not. However, that's just such a Sokka thing to do. And of course, like Richie, Sokka uses humor to cope. I can totally see him putting on stupid voices & acting ridiculous to try & make the others laugh no matter what.

I've also thought about how Katara could take inspiration from Bill. Not so much personality this time. But the book has so many really powerful passages about grief & guilt. I don't exactly know how I'd manage the Georgie storyline in this AU, I haven't worked that out. But obviously, Katara will be struggling with her mother's death & some parts of the book where Pennywise twists Bill's grief & survivor's guilt - or just parts when Bill is living with the emptiness left behind - could be an inspiration for covering that.

Of course, I'm going to play with the fire siblings & Ozai if I write this AU. I think that it would be really interesting writing them as still living with Ozai & very dependent on him because I usually write them getting away at the start of my stories. Or, maybe Zuko did get away & he lives with Iroh but Azula is still with Ozai. I could get pretty dark with Ozai & Azula alone in a house especially if I take inspiration from aspects of Beverly's relationship with her dad...

I haven't thought much about romances in this story aside from Azula/Katara. I'd definitely take inspiration from Beverly & Ben's romance for them. Especially that kiss when Beverly is in the headlights - imagine that but make it Azutara! I'm obsessed, are you obsessed? I'm obsessed. Don't worry though, no stupid fucking underwater kiss at the end.

I think writing two timelines could be a really fun writing challenge for me. I forget how the mini-series did it but I know the new movies divided the story into parts. But I would likely try to imitate the style of the novel, going back & forth. The idea of writing characters as kids & adults back to back is so interesting to me. I think that it could be super fun!

I have a few other specific ideas that aren't really fleshed out -

I think that some big characters might have to die in this & haunt the narrative a little.....as a treat. We'll see.

Don't murder me but I'll probably take inspiration from adult Beverly basically marrying another version of her dad because she still hasn't escaped the cycle with Azula. And Mai & Ty Lee can share the role of Kay Mccall. Except - you know - different because I also want them to be part of things in the kid timeline. Actually, I'm not sure how that will work since part of the point is that no one's seen each other in 27 years as adults...We'll get back to that, these are vague ideas, okay.

Alright, last vague idea -

I was wondering who could be the "leader" the way that Bill is. I think narratively, it makes sense for it to be Aang. But also Aang becomes a leader figure in ATLA because he's the Avatar. In this AU, he's just a kid & he's not actually the type to choose leadership, like Bill. But maybe he just steps up super well against Pennywise one time to protect his friends after running away the first time he faces him. This could reflect canon Aang's journey from running away to facing problems & the others look at him as a leader after this. To anyone reading this - what do you think about that idea?

And I'd welcome thoughts on how to fit a Georgie parallel into this story. It seems important but I'm not sure how to make it work!

Vara has no idea just how much he influences Irza bc Irza is just so hard to read sometimes

He usually uses the tail or other small signs but sometimes those won't even tell him what Irza is thinking...and this guy can give a death stare from simply thinking and not noticing he's staring at someone lol

damn idk what everyone in the comments on ao3 is on, BECAUSE OMGGG JACE IS NOW MY FAVORITE CHARACTER IN IKYLAO! pardon the pun, but what a prince of a guy! sensible, compassionate, and honorable (i hope there isn’t a surprised twist that will make me eat my words and look like a clown lol)

like he is seriously the only one using braincells, and duh he wants aemond to kill daemon for him, for one vermax is a baby compared to caraxes. him not wanting to fight daemon isn’t cowardly it’s just sensible! what is he supposed to do? go on a suicide mission to kill daemon, and leave his siblings in daemon or the green’s mercy????

even aemond who is supposed to hate him, admires him and sees his point. they’re in a war the micro issues of relationships, endgames is naturally gonna be secondary to the greater issues at hand. my favorite thing about this fic is the nuance of the character dynamics, cause most often in fics it’s like romantic love trumps all despite everything. but here romantic love exists, but so does familial love, and the duties you and loves have to the realm and others. and it’s clear that even if aemond and alysanne love each other, they can’t just forsake everything because of that.

i know it’s not in line with escapist angle of fanfic, but it makes your characters more realistic because they behave like actual human beings. most people are multifaceted and they understand that love doesn’t exist in a vacuum, and that romantic love and platonic aren’t mutually exclusive.

and people calling alysanne selfish, like huh???? she is literally trying to be everything for everyone??? is she were selfish she would’ve parked herself right on aemond’s dick steered him and vhagar to essos and never looked back! and i think they’re forgetting that aemond’s family killed her mother! and she saw her die in the most excruciating way possible, and that she died indirectly because of her. obviously she is going to feel tremendous guilt over that and that she will in her grief try to make up for what her siblings lost. because in her mind she caused that loss.

i’m so sorry that you’re receiving so many criticisms and negative comments on the direction of the story. i just want you to know that i understand your vision and i appreciate you so much.

AHH omg this is so amazing of you to take the time to write this comment! it really means the world. but yeah, Jace's decision to ask Aemond to kill Daemon is definitely controversial, and with reason! I mean it's that balance between being brave and cowardly. Jace isn't an idiot - he knows his family needs him, and he's been tasked with the Song of Ice and Fire. He's trying to keep the realm together as much as possible.

Jace is kind of Robb when he refused to fight Jaime following Whispering Wood - he's smart enough to know when he'd lose a battle, and he knows he'd lose against Daemon. Aemond is the only dragon rider with a CHANCE. and he gives Aemond a pretty fair deal, from my point of view. Besides it'll benefit the Greens greatly if Daemon dies, namely because then there'll be no one to kill them even after Jace takes the capital.

and yeah, I get that this fanfic is perhaps a bit heavier than some of the other aemond x oc ones. maybe that's not fair to say, idk. I think I've made Aemond and Alysanne very attached to their family and their ability to be protectors, so it might make things murkier? idk.

I'm going to be honest, people calling Alysanne selfish for wanting to be with her family after what Otto did is something I'm not going to understand. I respect different interpretations, even tho I don't agree with it. she's certainly flawed - impulsive, naive, righteous, and occasionally ignorant. but yeah, she's trying her best lmao.

I wish people were a bit uh, kinder in their criticism. idk if it's me being sensitive, but there are definitely a few takes I've seen that makes me doubt whether I've conveyed anything properly in this story. I digress!! Jace is a fave of mine always, so writing for him has been sm fun!

It's my SP, we broke up and I want him back. I've been trying but it feels so hard to imagine a different version of him. Lately he was so cold with me, I was chasing him and he couldn't care less. He was always too busy for me. I'm scared that he will find somebody else and I will be left hoping for a change. What can I do to manifest him? I am frustrated, I get stressed about this and I am in desperate need for movement with him. Help me girl

Bestie... when I got into the law, it was because of an SP. I spent months living for him, basically all of my attention was on him. Seeing this from my current perspective, that's a huge 🚩 .

Speaking from my experience, the best you could do is take a step back, drop the SP and worry more about building yourself. This might not be the advice you wanted, but babe... your sp must be somewhere living his best life while you're worried about getting him back.

Give yourself a break. Really, there's nothing to lose. Just a week, maybe two hehe... dedicate all of your attention to you, your needs, your hobbies, if you don't have any, then find them. Spend time with friends, family; if you have pets, spend time with your pet. Watch a movie, read a book, have a coffee date with a close friend/your mom/dad/a sibling. Idk, but really, do something that makes you happy and does not involve the SP. I challenge you.

Very often, when manifesting SPs people get so obssesed that they forget they have a life to live and they wouldn't dare even for a second to not think about them. I dare you to let him go. He's running away? Let him. You'll see how free you'll feel. You'll be so lightheaded. In your lane. Moisturized. Unbothered.

Now, if you still want him in your life after your week vacay. First thing is forgiveness. You can't manifest someone for whom you hold resentment, you'll either manifest the unlovely version again or not manifest him at all. Let go of his old version, and allow him to be a blank slate, where you can write a whole new story. And write a new one, where you and him have a healthy, happy, lovely relationship

Be patient, and continue building yourself. Your attention should be on you always, not on him. This is like that even with conventional advice. Again... Your attention HAS to be on you and his attention will be on you, as well. If you do think of him, continue choosing the version of him that you want. But really, intentionally choose to make your inner world about yourself.

And golden advice: Don't do this thinking of him, and thinking this is how you will get him. Do this for yourself. Learn to be your top priority. Learn to put yourself first. Not for anyone's validation, but for your own happiness and wellbeing, because you deserve it. You deserve to be so good for yourself that no ones absence will disturb you.
