Wait this is really cute! I only limit to five characters (with the exception of groups ie dorm leaders) and doing about 13 characters is a lot, so I'm going to stick with just the dorm leaders for now

Riddle

The dream went like this: you two were sitting in the rose garden and doing homework. You ask Riddle for some help and he scoots himself a bit closer to you. Both of you are like, inches away from each others' faces and when he glances at you, he can see a slight blush on your cheeks. Smiling to himself, he says that you look really cute, to which you reply with a flustered "sorry, we've only been this close when we kiss" and then he's about to go in for it (first time he ever decides to kiss you first) and then he wakes up from a pillow being thrown at him.

You were looking at him with such beautiful eyes in his dream, but when he woke up he just sees Trey and Cater yelling at him to wake up with two more pillows in their hands. He's about to go red but he stops himself and asks what's happening. Turns out he's been sleeping on his desk that he missed a dorm leader meeting. HIM!

Swearing to himself (for the first time ever that anyone's heard him) he rushes out, even though his hair is a bit disheveled and he looks half-asleep. He gets there and doesn't answer any questions (or any teasing from Leona)

If you happen to run into him while he's running to the hall of mirrors, he looks away because he's too shy. He would love to kiss you, or at least initiate one first at some point, but he's too emotionally constipated to do it. Maybe in another dream he'll get to do it, but for now he needs to focus on the meeting and getting back at Trey and Cater for throwing pillows

Leona

In his dream, you were likely just cuddling with him as always. He isn't even sure what the dream was really about, since all he could remember was him looking up at the ceiling, then at you, and then back. He asked you something about if you wanted to go, but you said you wanted to stay for ten more minutes. Before he can interrupt you and say he wants you to leave so he can "have his peace" (btw if he ever says this, it usually means he has no idea why he's feeling so much love) you move closer and your about to kiss him. He's about to kiss you when suddenly he gets awoken by you shaking him.

"Leona, we need to get to class. You promised this time you would go together!" you pull on his sleeve, trying to get him out of his bed. Seriously? You weren't the one wanting to leave in his dream, let him go back ;-;

"Leave me alone, you can go ahead," he'll throw a pillow on his face to muffle the sound of you telling him he can't miss another class. "Fine, I'll stay for ten more minutes, better late than not showing up altogether," you sit on his bed, crossing your arms and waiting for him to get up. Nothing.

Finally, you pull the pillow off of his face and give him a quick peck on his lips before running out and yelling at him to get to class. He just lies there, stunned, heart racing, but at least he got his kiss haha. Will he make it to class? Probably not.

Azul

His dream was wayy too good in his opinion. He wasn't fumbling up at all, being extremely suave as he showed you around the town by Coral Sea that he would visit every now and then. You two danced at the town square, got to check out small vendors, etc. By the time the sun was setting, you two were sitting by the shore and just relaxing. You told him you had a lot of fun that day, and he was talking about the tale of a mermaid princess who got to live with her human lover. Something about kissing and that's when he went for it, more or less to show rather than tell the story but right when you two were about to kiss he bolts up because Floyd's yelling

"HEEEYYYY RAMSHACKLE'S THROWING A PARTY WANNA GOOOO?!!!" Floyd has no noise control and Jade's just laughing in the back by the doorway. Floyd shakes Azul and tries to dance with him when he gets up while Jade is explaining what's going on. Turns out Grim wanted to celebrate acing a test by throwing a party.

Azul groans and says he'll go, he just needs some time to fix his hair. Jade and Floyd say that he's fine as he is and they try to pull him out of his room to no avail. Azul ends up coming to the party thirty minutes late (he was also practicing what to say to you haha)

When he gets there, you open the door and hug him, telling him you're glad to see him at the party. He tries to hide his blush by pushing his glasses further up the bridge of his nose, but you know he's just flustered. He then suggests that next time there's a long weekend, you two should go to the town by Coral Sea. "It's a beautiful place, I think it would be a fun date," he says.

Kalim

The dream was basically like a movie. He has no idea how it went from him running away from a bunch of knife wielding bears to something more calm, like you and Kalim on a carpet ride. Either way, he liked the latter part of his dream. As you two slowed down on top of clouds, you two stargazed. It was magical, but what made it better was when you turned to him, said thank you, and you asked if you could kiss him. You two haven't kissed yet, and so he was like "Uh, yeah, s-sure!" since he was nervous. You closed your eyes, moved closer, and before he could feel your soft lips Jamil woke him up

"Late to class? Not on my watch, you're the dorm leader now so you should know how to manage your time!" Jamil scolds but gently places some breakfast on his desk. Sure Jamil was uptight, but at least he was caring. Kalim nodded sadly and got out of bed.

Throughout the day, the dream kept playing over and over in his head. If he could have had five more minutes, maybe you two could've kissed and who knows, he might've known what it would be like to kiss someone! Ah, maybe he should ask? Yeah, he should ask you for a carpet ride. So, he marches to you during the lunch break to ask.

"Ooh, that sounds like a lot of fun, I've always wanted to stargaze from all the way up there!" you respond excitedly. He knew you would like it! He hopes you will kiss him on the date, but maybe he could muster the courage to ask you for a kiss first.

Vil

He had a crazy dream (at least in his opinion). You were pulled in as an understudy for a character that was supposed to be his lover. Everything was last minute, but because you were so good at adapting to different roles this was no issue. The scene finally came to when you two would kiss, it was the highlight of the production. He would tell you even as a prince he didn't want to live in luxury if it meant he wouldn't be with you (at least that was the character he was playing). For once he was playing the hero, he was going to get a happy ending, and he was going to kiss you! He pulled you closer, confessing his love for you, and when you two were about to kiss he woke up.

He woke up. On his own accord. He just woke up because his body knew it was 6am and he for once wanted to miscalculate his sleeping schedule. Sure his health mattered but not when it was such a good dream! Sighing to himself, he pulled himself out of bed and got ready.

You two were in the film studies club together and you were the only one that showed up that day. It was raining so it made sense that some people didn't feel like showing up, but nonetheless it meant you two basically had a date. You picked out a romance movie and started watching it. "It's a favorite of mine," you laughed.

Throughout the movie as he had his arm wrapped around you, you felt as though he was pulling you closer. This, however, was not intentional. Vil was lost in his thoughts, thinking about his dream, replaying the scene over and over. Perhaps it was because he loved you so much he felt like he wanted to hug you tighter. One day, he will find the courage the kiss you, but for now keeping you close is enough

Idia

This man probably has the wildest dreams. Usually he doesn't like going to sleep because his dreams will be about Ortho (twst spoilers) and they're usually really sad. But this time, his dream was exciting. First it was about you, Idia, and Ortho fighting some aliens in a spaceship and finding your ways back home. It was sort of like you all were in Metroid but you all succeeded in escaping the enemy ship. Idia was super happy in that dream, and before he knew it, you were about to kiss him. It was like a victory kiss? Who knows, all Idia remembers is you were so close to his face, your hair brushing his face and then you close your eyes and he was about to do the same but when he opened his eyes again...

Ceiling. Just his regular ceiling in his dimly lit room. It was 3am, he woke up by accident. Out of all days that he could have awoken it had to be this! Not to mention, he usually doesn't sleep because of nightmares but it seems like luck wasn't on his side ;-;

Idia's pretty grouchy for the entire day. A lot of students notice he's mumbling to himself more. But when you enter the classroom, yell out his name, his hair just flames red. Everyone around him asks him if he's fine and he just goes "H-hi y/n, um, yeah, hi." Gosh he was so awkward, why couldn't he be like himself from his dream?!

After class, you two talk about your favorite games and recent tv shows. He talks about a space game he's been into recently and you ask him if you could watch him play through it. Of course, he answers yes. Then, he asks "Have you ever thought about kissing someone?" "Huh?" You look at him, puzzled. Shoot, did he just say something without thinking? He waves it off, saying it wasn't anything important, but feel free to surprise him with a kiss on your game night!

Malleus

He's also not one to sleep a lot mainly because he doesn't have a lot of dreams. Perhaps it's because of how many years he's been alive and how nothing seems to excite him anymore. He hasn't had a good dream in many years, but that all changed when you arrived. Now, he's had more frequent dreams about marrying you, saving you from danger, holding hands, etc. But this time, you were with him in a party hosted by his grandmother. You looked beautiful in your outfit, honestly he dare say you were the most beautiful one in all of Twisted Wonderland. You two were out in the balcony, away from the party but the most important part to him was that you confessed your love to him. You wanted to stay with him. "Child of man, if I were reborn, or for every time I was reborn, I would always fall in love with you." With that, you two were about to kiss when-

"MY LORD! Oh, oh my apologies, everyone's been looking for you and we weren't sure if you would be at the tower, the graveyard, or-" "What's the point?" Malleus asked Sebek. Of course, the first year was very outgoing, but sometimes Malleus wished the boy would leave him alone. He was sitting on the Ramshackle roof by the way.

Malleus thanked Sebek for being concerned but asked him to leave him here. Sebek agreed and went back to Diasomnia while Malleus closed his eyes. He wanted to take a nap again, go back and see you look at him with such warm eyes. Ah, his heart was beating so fast and he just wanted to tell you how much he wanted you to stay with him, to love him.

"Malleus! Did you want to come in? I'm trying to bake something and you're welcome to join!" he bolted up when he heard you from below. You were holding a mixing bowl while smiling at him. Jumping down, he smiled and agreed to help you. Ah, if only you knew how much you meant to him. Maybe he'll confess to you there?

Sidenote: This is gonna be a little aggressive so in the next post I’ll rate them how my Mom and her side of the would feel about them and that’ll be really wholesome and sweet. I’ll link it when I post it❣️

For the record, I love them all! This is just how I believe my father’s side of the family would feel about them. All these bois are fantastic options and deserve all the hugs and choccy milk in the world🙏

Heartslabyul

Riddle: 4/10- Aside from looking much younger than me(no disrespect to Riddle stans, I just wouldn’t be attracted to him and thusly wouldn’t take him home because he looks so young), they wouldn’t have much of an opinion, except if The Father™️ or The Family™️ starting getting….well, the way they get….and Riddle stood up for his S/O or challenge the conversation in any way, they’d all probably start being a bit offended, but since Riddle is usually civil first, it’d just be subtle annoyance but not total disapproval. The rest of The Family™️ would just see him as a really intelligent square, which, while being incredibly reductive and disrespectful, is not out of character for them at all.

Trey: 10/10- Boy is so respectful and upstanding and sweet that The Family™️ literally would not care or be able to tell if or why Trey starts to take issue with some of their treatment of me or other family members. The Father™️ would literally kiss the ground upon which this boy walks because he’ll be so excited in thinking that I’ll finally be someone else’s problem and he can just go back to being “The Fun/Cool Parent”. The Father™️ absolutely thinks he’s just him and thusly will view Trey as an extension of himself and might love him more that way.

Cater: 2/10- Wouldn’t be able to look past what he’d view as a shallow obsession with optics. Both The Family™️ and The Father™️ would watch this sweet boy who’s bubbly, very caring, super sweet, and really proud of his S/O take pictures and hype them up and just see it as overblown vanity and just launch subtle jabs at him for being too into his phone or obsessed with social media. This sweet boi would not be treated well by my family, we’d just leave dinner and go get nuggies and choccy milk on our own for fun👍

Ace: 4/10- Acts a lot like some of them but not nearly as subtly hurtful. Ace can absolutely dish out any shade The Family™️ would throw his way, and they would HATE that. We love a boy with a spine but they’d just get annoyed with him in the same way they get annoyed with me. Ace would also be the kind of S/O who’d stand up for himself and his S/O if their The Family™️ or The Father™️ starts being problematic or hurtful or subtly abusive- but only once he catches on. The Father™️ would probably think he’s lazy and rude, but also like his sense of humor.

Deuce: 2/10 except The Grandmother™️ would LOVE him. The Father™️ would feel threatened by how responsible, upstanding, and protective this boi is, and how much effort he clearly puts into everything. He’d find it endearing if he wasn’t so obsessed with his own image of being considered the same way without putting in a fraction of the effort. Comparing The Father™️ to Deuce in terms of how much this boi tries to be a good person would piss him off so badly, and The Aunties™️ would feel the same way and get defensive on behalf of The Father™️. If they also found out that he’s a former delinquent, they’d also absolutely hold that against him. The Grandmother™️, however, would just find him charming, adorable, and would be so chuffed that someone cared about their S/O so much and so clearly. For her he’d be like a 10/10.

Savanaclaw

Leona: 1/10- The only thing that’d even remotely redeem this man in the eyes of The Family™️ and especially The Father™️ is that he’s a literal prince. They’d focus on that and bragging to everyone else they know about it and then immediately turn around and shit talk him for being lazy, sleepy, grumpy, rude, disrespectful, etc., despite the fact that Leona probably made an effort to at least try and be respectful going into the first meeting despite what I would’ve told him about the way The Family™️ and The Father™️ treats me and my sibling. After they start getting shady at him about his habits and second-born status, I fully believe he’d just give up and start ripping them all a new one verbally for the things they’d mcdone to me and my sibling(which I really don’t have much of a problem with him doing). Leona wouldn’t let anyone disrespect or hurt his S/O if it got to the point where he’d be meeting their family imo. He has a backbone for himself AND for his S/O and wouldn’t let The Family™️ keep treating his S/O poorly. He’d probably just pick them up and walk tF out and go get a nice warm drink and a nap to forget about those assholes. Maybe spicy cuddle time. Who knows? Sure beats spending time with The Family™️ after all. The Father™️ would absolutely hate him no matter what. The subtle mcracism would absolutely start coming out too. We don’t like and won’t stand for that in my shitty apartment😤

Ruggie: 6.5/10- The Family™️ would absolutely love that this man is a provider and would be ON. THE. HUSTLE- Notwithstanding that the reason why Ruggie is consistently on the grind is because he struggled with poverty and food insecurity growing up. Ruggie would probably hate The Family™️ imo- they waste SO MUCH food, money, and general resources that I wouldn’t be shocked if he just scoffed and left after hearing them have conversations over dinner. The Father™️ would fall in love with Ruggie’s work ethic and determination though. Again, it’s because they’re things he thinks he has, but that’s beside the point.

Jack: 4/10- Strong? Check. Respectful? Check. Cares about his S/O enough to stand up to authority figures who shoot subtle abuse their way? ABSOLUTELY CHECK. Check check check. The Family™️ would be obsessed with how respectful, responsible, and strong this boi is with bonus points for assertiveness up and until he uses that strength and assertiveness to defend his S/O from subtle verbal abuse or disrespect. The Family™️ would get upset REAL fast. The Gaslight-Gatekeep-Girlbossing from The Aunties™️ wouldn’t take long to come out. The Father™️ would just be pouty and displeased. However, Jack is another boi that The Grandmother™️ would adore. She’d spoil him and be so happy with him. Grandma rating would be another 10/10.

Octavinelle

Azul: 10/10- The Family™️ would LOVE Azul, but he’d hate them. I don’t think he’d stand up to their subtle insults and abuse well; he puts up a great front at first but I think it’d be really hard to endure especially with the kinds of things he’s gone through in his past(I’m really similar here which is where I base this from). Azul is absolutely someone who would love his partner so wholly and completely when he’d get to a certain point in his relationship with them that I fully believe he’d just try to be strong and take it on the chin to remain diplomatic and just try to get through the gathering as smoothly and quickly as possible so that he and if necessary, his S/O, can get out of there to a safe place at home and have a good cry about it. He would need so many hugs and reassurances after a meal with The Family™️ because of how they’d hyperanalyze and criticize every little thing about him. I have a feeling it’d probably as triggering for him as it is for me. Octopod snuggles and choccy milk afterwards for sure.🥺

Jade: -2/10- They would be so unnerved. The Father™️ would probably be very wary and not like the stares and ominous smiles and subtly intimidating way Jade cooly counters any insensitivity or hurtful criticism sent his or his S/O’s way. The Family™️ would be so scared that they’d probably just stay frozen in a tense silence while waiting for someone else to try something, ANYTHING to get another conversation rolling again. Fish Mafia Man isn’t fun for them, and I would enjoy every second of it.

Floyd: -9001/10- Absolutely not. Would call the cops on me AND him, and probably attempt to institutionalize me. Their loss, the Fish Mafia Men will have me out in no time.🥰

Scarabia

Kalim: 1000/10- The Father™️ would adore this respectful lil himbo. He’s too sunshiney and happy and kind to pick up on the subtle awfulness The Family™️ would send his way while trying to pick apart his whole deal. I don’t think he’s so clueless that he’s miss how The Family’s™️ behavior and treatment would affect his S/O though- he’d probably handle it by being world’s best hype boyfriend. The Father™️ would also be over the Moon with how loaded this boi is; tbh, he(or The Family™️) would probably try to weasel even more money or gifts out of Kalim than he’d already inevitably be willing to provide. His S/O would probably have to stop him from giving The Family™️ more shit bc they absolutely don’t deserve it. Protect this boi. Plz. I would never take him home because he’d be so taken advantage of.

Jamil: 7/10- I think Jamil would probably handle The Family’s™️ bullshit by just not acknowledging it. Maybe a huff or a subtle roll of the eyes, perhaps even a diplomatic but well-aimed counterpoint or statement, but he’s absolutely more than smart enough to know the right words to act as counters to their fuckery without starting shit. The Father™️ would really admire and respect Jamil’s work ethic and personal convictions, and honestly I think would actually genuinely get along pretty well with him up and until he tries to complain about something privileged or start getting whiny or performative. The Family™️ would probably just assume Jamil would be perfect husband material otherwise and just ignore him after they get tired of trying to unsuccessfully pick his shit apart. I’d probably Yeet us back home early and just pamper the shit out of Jamil after that bc honestly, just bc he’d be an expert at countering those assholes doesn’t mean that it’s not exhausting or frustrating. Snuggles for all after that bullshit😔🤌

Pomefiore

Vil: 4/10- The Father™️ would be fascinated that he’s a celebrity and would try to be all cool and keep up appearances, and it’d be painfully mid by Vil’s standards. I bet both him and The Family™️ would get pretty fucking miffed after a while with Vil’s indifference and coldness towards them because you just KNOW Vil wouldn’t validate any of their shady and rude fuckery by dignifying it with pleasantries. The Family™️ would be much too intimidated to toe the line with him and wouldn’t bother trying to pick his airtight shit apart, so they’d just go about business as usual. Aside from just not getting verbally belligerent, I believe that coldness is the extent of Vil’s social diplomacy if the people he’s with are disrespecting or passive-aggressively picking on his S/O. Because it’s The Family™️, I don’t think Vil would completely lose it on them, but if he hits his limit, I think he’d just stand up, give everyone a brief but stern statement condemning their conduct, and then just picks his S/O up(probably not literally but you never know) and brings them back home. The Family™️ would be shooketh by such a brief but effective dressing down. Honestly I’d pay money to see it.

Rook: 9/10- I fully believe this man, as loving and well-meaning as he would be towards his S/O, wouldn’t pick up on how shitty The Family™️ is being until he picks up on the effects of their words on them. The thing that stops him from doing so right away would absolutely be the way The Family™️ would eat up every story and dramatic retelling of anything Rook would have to offer in a social setting. He’s so dashing, flamboyant, and vibrant in social settings that The Family™️ would love bomb him 110% and hang on his every word out of his mouth. The Father™️ would be speechlessly impressed by Rook for sure. He’s charismatic, speaks more than one language, is a multitalented student of many subjects, and a whole ass romantic. He’d probably start going back and forth with The Father™️ with jokes and conversations and overblown stories until he starts picking up on The Aunties™️ being shady at his S/O. At that point, when they start getting more visibly affected, he’d definitely be the kind of person to make a polite(albeit dramatic) excuse and whisk his S/O away somewhere safe to decompress and just be together by themselves after that for the rest of the night. He’s a good bean who would just get a lil swept up at first in the manufactured adoration and blinding limelight The Family™️ would laud him with until he loses their interest but would absolutely still take care of his S/O when he catches on.

Epel: 2/10- The first thing The Father™️ would notice is how much this boy looks like an actual child(another one that I wouldn’t actually bring home or be attracted to because of that, no disrespect or shade to the Epel stans💜). The second thing is how belligerent and defensive Epel would get at The Family™️ when they start getting invasive and shady with their questions and comments. Idk but this boy would not last long there. Tbh would probably just drag his S/O out and go have a better time elsewhere doing something fun and wholesome.

Ignihyde

Idia: -10/10: Rude, standoffish, socially awkward, absolutely does NOT want to be there and wouldn’t make a secret of it. I think Idia would easily be able to pick up on not only the elevated expectations and skepticism of The Father™️, but also immediately could pick up on the condescension of The Family™️ RIGHT away. Both he and The Family™️ would hate each other right away. Tbh he might like some of The Cousins™️ though, the younger ones are a lot like Ortho in some aspects. The adults would absolutely despise him though. Defo would need hugs afterwards. He’d probably just leave early with his S/O to go play some games and forget about all the unpleasantness.

Ortho: A literal child. Would not bring home unless Idia wanted his family to meet his S/O’s family. The Father™️ would think he’s super cool though, he’s really into tech.

Diasomnia

Malleus: IDFC/10- I genuinely don’t know how The Family™️would react to Malleus. On one hand, he’s a Prince, which we’ve already established is a HUGE plus. On the other hand, he’s a.) a fae, b.) a literal dragon, c.) goth as fuqq, and d.) unaccustomed to human society, let alone subtly abusive and snide family dynamics. Overall I think The Father™️, while offput at first, would come to kind of like and respect Malleus(until Malleus hears about the shit that The Father™️ has done in the past to wreck my future financially) I don’t think he’d pick up on their bullshit right away because he’s a bit dense when it comes to humans at first, but because he’s so observant of his Child of Man, he’d certainly pick up on it then. He absolutely wouldn’t stand for their treatment towards his S/O, and especially not if his S/O were to pull him aside and explain the full extent of it to him. I doubt he’d torch them but he’d certainly give them the most terrifying talking to of their next three lifetimes. I absolutely would not care how The Father™️ or The Family™️ would think of Malleus because I fully believe that, of everyone on this list, would be the most tender and caring of his S/O after removing both of them from the situation. There would be a learning curve with him but he’s so earnest and gentle towards those he cares about that he’d learn quickly how to help his S/O recover from a triggering get-together with their family.

Lilia: The Family™️.exe has stopped working. Windows is looking for a solution for the problem…/10- Because this man is practically an ancient being who’s done everything from bring up children to participate in history hard enough to literally be in History of Magic textbooks, he would absolutely know what these impudent and pathetic humans are up to the second any sort of cutting words or subtle abuse leaves their mouths. He also wouldn’t stand for it- but he’ll play with his prey before he strikes. Lilia would play 4D chess with The Family™️ and absolutely tee up the most clever and damning of verbal takedowns like it’s running circles around preschoolers. I also fully believe that he’d throw mad shade at The Father™️ when he learns how he handled his failed marriage and how he’s treated his children over the years. Lilia would absolutely wipe the floor with The Family™️ and leave with an ominously jovial smile with his S/O in tow.

Sebek: 0/10- I don’t think I could bring this boi to dinner. MFer would just yell at everybody and get angry at them for bullying his human the second he sees how uncomfortable and upset his S/O is getting. They do things v e r y differently in The Vally of Thorns and Sebek will not allow the people he holds in high regard to be dishonored or disrespected by anyone. His S/O may not be Lord Malleus, but he sure as shit cares about them just as much and just as passionately. He would not leave until he was literally dragged out by his S/O because he would be lecturing The Family™️ so loudly and passionately that their ears would start bleeding. This man absolutely gets slept ok because he will fucken FIGHT for his S/O as long as it doesn’t go against Lord Malleus. No fear.

Silver: 2/10- I’m sure that it can be inferred by my name that, like Silver, I am incredibly sleepy all the time. I may not be falling asleep constantly, but at least one person being constantly exhausted at a gathering is nothing new for them. What is new, however, is how Silver will snap out of his sleepery enough to come to bat for his S/O. I fully believe that he would be very civil but very firm with The Family™️ when he starts to pick up on the snide remarks and passive aggression, and the transition from sleepy boi to knight in shining armor would be jarring for them. After that happens, The Father™️ would probably accuse him of faking it and being manipulative. Tbh might tell Silver to leave if Silver doesn’t just walk out with his S/O before then. Okay, since [3] people liked my post, here’s the charts for my

Though, I will admit, I feel like the shojou influence may lessen after the first group, but oh well. It’s the drama filled romance twst AU.

So, the freshman gang is the main one, along with the only one I bothered to add text in the image itself.

These guys are also the only ones who have any real semblance of a plot going on, and I imagine if this was an actual shojou romance anime, there’d be two seasons, so dynamics get changed and two more characters (Grim and Yuu!) get added into the mix. But I haven’t made that chart yet, so I won’t talk about it unless someone asks

Anyway, Ortho would be the main character here, as she was the reason why I decided to make this AU at all lol. (Btw, she’s 16 just like everyone else here, so don’t worry about it) Epel and her are best friends and as such I decided to give him his own side plot as well!

Since I wanted Ortho and Epel to already be established as best friends, I decided to mash their hometowns closer together, and I also wanted to make them know Vil for awhile too, so Idia, Ortho, Epel, Vil & Jack have all known each other since elementary. The others they only met in HS. Why? It’s probably a really prestigious one like in canon or smth, idk

Bc of this, Epel’s been crushing on Jack since, idk, elementary? Middle school? Awhile now, that’s for sure. Ortho’s been making fun of him for not being able to confess for years now, and he finally decided to ask him out in HS, but by the planned time comes, Oops! He likes Sebek now too! Ortho is understanding, but loves to make references to cringy manga and anime that have love triangles/harems in it. That is, until she falls for both Ace and Deuce, and suddenly Epel can have payback.

There’s definitely more to this, but that’s all I feel like writing about rn for them.

Now this description will have less in it cause I definitely think of these guys the least, but I will say that one love square ends in two couples, and the other in polyamory, so,that’s fun!

Also, to balance out the gender ratio, Jade and Floyd are Jade and Floyd, Riddle, Kalim, Azul, Jamil & Ruggie are all girls. Silver can be the token guy. Or I could change my mind and make her a girl. Idk.

I do have a bit more to say about the juniors tho!

First off, I didn’t know where to fit in Cater & Trey, so they’re kinda just in the background. Maybe Trey & Vil had smth but now Trey and Cater are dating? Idk, but they’re here!

Anyway, back to the exes, yk how I said that Vil, Jack, Idia, Ortho & Epel all knew each other? Yeah, back in middle school, Idia and Vil dated for, around a (school) year (plus summer) I wanna say? Maybe a bit less than that. But in their freshman year they broke up, leaving them not really speaking, then about two weeks later Vil and Leona started dating, so that just kinda rubbed salt in the wound for Idia and he went back to staying in his room 24/7 again. Though he does show up at school more often than his canon counterpart does, I feel. Simply bc this is supposed to be a no magic AU, so flying tablets are a bit harder to get from class to class with lmao

Anyway, after who knows how long, maybe for like 6 months or so? Vil and Leona break up. Not sure how long after that, maybe a month, little more than that? Anyway, then Leona and Malleus date for like, a week? Idk, Leo & Mal remind me of two middle school boys who hate each other, so do with that as you will lol

Second year maybe you could fit in the Trey thing but idk. Anyway, Vil & Rook have been going strong since then, and Idia’s recently gained a crush on Malleus. Shenanigans ensue

The only other thing I’ll note is that Lilia doesn’t attend school with his kids, maybe he’s a teacher? Part-time substitute? Idk, but just like in canon he’s Mal & Silver’s dad (and Sebek’s too lol) and online friends with Idia. So that’s fun!

Russian Roulette.

The young girl had wanted to play that game for some time now, but she knew that nobody would play it with her, not unless they knew that nobody would actually die. She knew how to make sure that she was the one who bit the bullet. She had, in so many ways, wanted to die, anyway. So what was wrong with making it fun? That's when she heard it.

A song from her homeworld. She could sing it on stage, practicing everyday with the other person... And what a coincidence, the song was about Russian Roulette. She knew one person who she might be able to convince... Leona Kingscholar. She headed to Savannaclaw dorm to recruit him.

To her surprise, he agreed, so long as it didn't require that he do too much. She had explained that all chambers of the gun would actually be empty. This way, neither of them would get hurt.

The day finally came, and it was dizzying, the lights, and crowd., it was almost too much for the young girl. But she had nothing to live for, so what harm could it do? Nobody would miss her. Hell, she was probably the most annoying student at NRC, right? All this would accomplish would be to piss off the janitor.

As she and Leona took the stage, she took a deep breath, preparing herself, steadying her pulse. Leona looked at her. "All this practice, and you're still nervous, eh, herbivore?" He raised an eyebrow, but she didn't respond. They sat at their places at the table she had set up, and she began. "Take a breath. Take it deep. 'Calm yourself' he says to me...." As she sang they passed the gun back and forth.

Her hands trembled near the middle of the song, she hadn't realized just how serious this was. It wasn't until now that the fear of non-existence set in. She came from a world of science, not magic. There were no ghosts. There were no souls, and there would be no afterlife for her. She would merely stop existing. She pressed on, though. She wasn't going to turn back now, not when she had planned this so thoroughly.

As the song came to a close, a few tears trickled down her face, she took a breath, and squeezed the trigger.

Leona had flinched at the loud bang of a live bullet being fired from the gun. He found himself frozen. Paralyzed from shock and horror. He wanted to scream, but he couldn't find his voice. He just sat there, a warm sensation trickling down his leg. So many thoughts rushed through his mind in that moment. But he couldn't get one to come out of his mouth. After what felt like forever, it finally sank in that she had committed suicide.

He couldn't do anything but cry. He suddenly felt like a frightened child. Not knowing what to do, or who to turn to. Nobody had ever taken their own life in his presence before. He cried as he stared at the gaping exit wound. The blood and brain tissue that had exploded out of her skull. He suddenly felt sick. He threw up, until there was nothing left in his stomach....

The aftermath...

NRC was never quite the same after what everyone now referred to as "the incident". It was less painful than calling it what it really was, a carefully planned suicide.

Leona ended up dropping out altogether, he sought therapy. Anything that would help him heal, at least a little. But it still kept him up most nights. The sound of the gun, how frightened she looked in her last few seconds, how he should've listened to the bad feeling in his gut before the performance. He couldn't help but to feel that he was somehow to blame.

Malleus had begun to avoid the Ramshackle dorm altogether. There were too many memories with the child of man, as he had called her. She was the only person who wasn't scared of him, even after figuring out who he really was.

Grim was transferred to Heartslabyul, and given the status of being a full fledged student, all on his own. But it meant nothing without her. She had been there with him from the start. He had hoped that she would graduate with him. But that dream was shattered. He missed his friend dearly.

A new rule had been established at Heartslabyul. Nobody was allowed to say her name, or speak of the incident. Riddle couldn't bear hearing about it. All of it came down on his head. He had thought the firearm had been a toy. How was he supposed to know? He had never seen a real gun before. But that didn't stop a few people from placing the blame squarely on his shoulders.

Floyd didn't talk much after learning that shrimpy had taken her own life. He couldn't get his mind off of it. Off of the fact that he would never see her again. She wouldn't be there to brighten his day... That didn't keep him from looking for her, or looking at Magicam everyday, half-expecting a new post from her, even months after she was long gone.

Jade had stayed strong for his brother, but most nights he found himself laying awake, tears streaming down his face, wondering if Azul's unique magic would be strong enough to bring her back. Would he have to give his own life in return? The more he thought about it, the more he found himself believing that he would gladly sell his soul to get her back.

Intentional Kiss

The party was doing great until it wasn't. The music suddenly stopped. It was like the air had been sucked out of the bright colored room, everyone stunned in the face of something they ha never seen before.

Malleus Draconia, Prefect of Diasomnia, stumbled into the party room. Before anyone could assume or commented that Malleus finally got his invitation, they realized he was carrying something.

Or someone to be exact.

In his arms, he was holding a first-year that everyone had known as the 'Captain of Ramshackle Dorm'. He was sleeping peacefully, cradled securely in Malleus' grip like a baby. That should be fine. But Malleus looked like he was on the verge of panicking. This was probably the first time anybody ever seen (except perhaps Lilia, Silver, and Sebek) Malleus so out of character.

"Get help."

"What do you mean he can't wake up?" Deuce's question basically summed up everything that currently in their mind. The prefects, along with Crowley, Ace, Deuce, Grim, and Lilia were gathered back at the Ramshackle Dorm. Jonah was sleeping peacefully in his bed, under the blanket. He didn't look sick despite the sleeping curse.

Ace groaned, massaging his forehead. "How many time does this make him trying to get himself killed?" he muttered.

"He couldn't help it," Lilia spoke. He was sitting on the stool next to the bed, hand gently patting the blanket, trying to smoothed the wrinkle on the sheet. Glancing to the headmaster, he watched the man caressed the boy's head. If this was just an ordinary sight, Lilia might say that Crowley was trying to lulled Jonah to sleep. "The curse of the Witch of Thorn's spinning wheel is always looking for an innocence prey."

Riddle had his arm crossed in front if his chest, but his fingers kept tapping his upper arm. "If the curse still the same, does that mean the cure will also be the same?"

"'An act of true love thaws a frozen heart' was it?" asked Idia from the corner of the room.

"No that's a different curse," Malleus said. Most of the Prefect avoided the Diasomnia Leader because of the dangerous aura emitting from him. "'The princess can be woken from her death sleep, but only by true love's kiss. This curse will last till the end of time. No power on Earth can change it.' That was what she said."

Azul stopped shifting anxiously beside Riddle. "So, we just need someone to kiss him?"

"NO!" Everyone turned to Crowley who pulled Jonah's blanket until it reached his head. "I will not allowed all of you to kiss him on the lips without his consent!"

"He's in a sleeping death! He doesn't need consent!" Ace screamed back.

Kalim looked at the rest of the gang. "Does he love anyone?"

Leona shrugged from his position on the room's armchair. "We all know that brat is too dense to realized his own feeling."

Kalim hummed for a while, tapping his chin as he think. Then he perked up, hitting his palm with his first. He turned to Azul. "Azul should try first."

Azul's face immediately went red, meanwhile Ace and Deuce let out an incoherent sound of protest. "Wh-Why me?"

"Well, you like-like him, right?" Kalim asked back. "So it should work."

Ace stood up from the floor. "Like hell we'll let him go first before Riddle!"

It was Riddle's to blush heavily. "E-Eh?! D-Don't joke around!"

"So this is the power of harem protagonist," Idia muttered, to which Leona let out a tired sigh.

Vil finally stepped up, glaring at the two boys for their childishness. "As much as amusing this shipping war is, I don't want to see my baby brother got stuck in an every lasting slumber."

"Then why don't you start?" Leona said, lips curling up to challenge him. "It's not technically incest."

Vil glared at the lion, but he sighed in the end. "Alright then."

Everyone watched Vil walked up to the bed and pulled down the blanket, slightly disappointed that Jonah was still sleeping. Not waiting any longer, Vil bent down and kissed him squarely on the mouth. Quickly pulling back, he let out a sigh when there was no changes. Vil turned around, looking at the occupant of the room, one by one. "Well?"

Ace stepped next to Riddle, nudging him forward. "Come on, Prefect."

Riddle bit his lips. "What if it doesn't work?"

"We won't know if we don't try." Ace guided Riddle to stand near the bed. Riddle took a deep breath before kneeling, pressing an awkward kiss.

Nothing happened.

Riddle sighed. He stood up and turned to Azul. "You. Do it."

Azul raised both of his hands. "Riddle. What chance do I have if it doesn’t even work with you?"

"None of us want Jonah to sleep for a hundred years, right?" Riddle stepped forward, poking Azul on the chest. "So, take that risk."

Azul groaned. "Alright, alright." Walking toward the bed, Azul leaned down and kissed the sleeping pirate. He couldn't say that he was surprised when nothing happened. He glanced at Riddle. "Told you."

Riddle sighed. "It was worth a shot."

"Can I?" Kalim raised his hand. "Just to make sure..."

"Please." Azul stepped aside. Kalim walked to the bed.

"Sorry about this, Jonah." He dropped a lightning quick kiss against his lips. He let out a sigh of relief when Jonah stayed very unconscious. "Good. I-I mean, damn."

"Language." Leona stood up. He took a quick stride and gave Jonah a perfunctory kiss, much to everyone surprise of his spontaneous. "Well, now that's settled, I'll get the rest of the boy's harem."

"Hey, I'll come with you." Kalim followed Leona out of the door.

Lilia sighed. He gave the boy a small kiss. Nothing happened. He turned to Malleus. "Would you want to try?"

Malleus was silent, watching the sleeping boy. For some reason he felt guilty despite none of this was his undoing. Lilia walked toward him, giving him a pat on his back, enough to push him forward. Brushing the bangs out from the boy's face, Malleus leaned down and kissed him. Everyone let out a sigh of disappointment when nothing happened.

"Lilia, I'm going to find and alternate counter curse for this." Without waiting an answer, Malleus walked out the room, slamming the door behind him.

Lilia sighed. He turned to the remaining occupant. "Please, excuse us." He then walked out.

Deuce stood up from the floor. "I should try too." He knelt down next to the bed. "I swear, Captain. If it's me, I'll slam a cauldron at you." He kissed Jonah. He let out an exaggerated sigh of relief when nothing happened. He turned to Ace. "Your turn."

Ace rolled his eyes. "Don't make this sound weird." He quickly kissed his captain to no result. "Damn, we need to gather the whole school if this keep up. Why is he being difficult?"

Taking out the headmaster and Grim from the equation, everybody turned to the only person who hadn't had his turn.

Idia squeaked. "M-Me too?"

Azul rolled his eyes. "Come on, Idia. Be a good sport and kiss him."

Idia groaned. "Fine, fine." Quickly walking to the boy, Idia gave him a quick kiss and immediately step back.

"Not you either, huh," Riddle muttered. Idia sighed in relief.

"Can we keep Ortho out of this for now?" he asked. "If you're really desperate than I'll let him do it."

Crowley nodded. "Alright. The teachers won't be going into this yet as well."

The boy was still sleeping peacefully, unaware of the panic outside his sleeping realm. Grim flew down to the bed, curling up next to Jonah's head. You better wake up soon, Captain.

And thus the parade of people walking into the Ramshackle Dorm to try to kiss the sleeping captain awake started.

Jack and Epel stopped by. Epel kissed Jonah on the mouth. Nothing happened. He turned to Jack. "Come on, Jack. Your turn."

Ignoring the teasing grin from Epel, Jack kissed him. Nothing happened, but someone watching Jack blushing madly was pretty amusing.

"If the Young Master thinks this will work then I'll do it!" Even Sebek's loud voice couldn't wake up Jonah. Nor his kiss. Nor even Silver's kiss. Lilia and Malleus tried to cheer both of them up, especially Sebek, from sulking to deep.

"How tragic~" Rook wooed. "Forgive me, Vil. But it appears my kiss was not what he needed.

Vil sighed, watching his little brother worriedly. "We'll look again."

"As you wish."

Ruggie pulled back from his kiss. Nothing happened. "Well, I tried." He turned to Leona, stretching out his palm. "My payment."

Jade's kiss was short, but no avail.

When Floyd's kiss didn't work, he suddenly started to hugged Jonah until his joint nearly popped. It took all of Azul and Jade strength to pull him away. They didn't the captain to actually die from suffocation.

Jamil felt very uncomfortable when kissing Jonah while Kalim was watching. Both of them were relieve when he didn't wake up.

"A sleeping curse, huh?" Cater muttered. "Never thought I will see this happen."

"And only a kiss can wake him?" Trey asked.

Riddle sighed. "Hopefully."

Trey nodded. Going first, he kissed Jonah lightly. He shook his head. "Sorry, Riddle."

Cater tried next. It didn't work for him as well. "Anyone else?"

"We tried many already. But nothing worked," Riddle answered. Trey gave him a comforting one sided hug.

"We'll try more."

Crowley stepped into the room once everyone was cleared. Grim was sitting next to Jonah's head, weakly patting his cheek. "Do you want to sleep with Mister Trappola and Spade, Grim?" Crowley asked, walking up to the bed.

Grim shook his head. "I'll stay. Just to make sure no one is going to get in in the middle on the night."

Crowley nodded, pulling a stool to sit next to Jonah, watching the boy in his enchanted sleep. Using the edge of the blanket, he wiped the boy's lips. He would probably be shook knowing that his first kiss was taken away when he was unconscious.

Brushing his finger to Jonah's cheek, Crowley couldn't help but feel sad with how cold it was. The boy is always warm like the sun, not cold like ice. Crowley sighed, brushing the bangs of his face. He slowly lowered his head to Jonah's, pressed a light kiss on the top of his head. "I hope you have a nice dream, my boy." He turned to Grim. "Protect him well, okay?"

Grim nodded firmly. "I will." Grim stared at Jonah before reading forward, giving a small lick on his cheek before nuzzling him.

"Thank you." Crowley stood up again before walking toward the door. He reached for the handle-

"Nngh..."

"Jonah?"

Cowley quickly turned around. Grim stood up on the bed, his paws on Jonah's cheeks. "Jonah! Oil!" The cat started to licked the boy's face as Crowley ran toward the bed again, watching with wide eyes behind his mask as the boy slowly opened his black eyes.

"Grim..." Jonah slurred, pushing Grim's head away. "You're spitting all over me."

"JONAH!" Grim collided forward, hugging Jonah around the neck. "You're awake!"

"Yeah..." Jonah coughed. "Don't choke me though."

"Oh, sorry!" Grim and Crowley helped Jonah sit up, watching the color flooded his skin. Once the coughing stopped, Jonah looked around.

"Where am I?"

"Back in your room," Crowley answered. "What is the last thing you remember?"

"Well..." Jonah massaged his temple. "I think it was a party in Diasomnia and I went to find Senior Draconia, and then..." he frowned. "I did something...?"

"Yeah." Crowley let out a chucked. "You pulled quite a stunt today."

Jonah looked even more confused. "What exactly did I do?"

"You pricked your finger on the spindle of a cursed spinning wheel," Crowley said.

"You pulled a Sleeping Beauty at us!" Grim added. "Stupid Sleeping Captain!"

"Geez, it's not like I want to be the next Sleeping Beauty." Then he realized something. He looked around the room, noticing the wasn't anyone else beside the three of them. "Then, who is my True Love Kiss?"

Crowley laughed. "Only you can pull this kind of thing, Mister Argentum."

"Wait. Who kissed me?"

"Either me or Crowley," Grim answered.

"And before you throw accusation..." Crowley put a hand on Jonah shoulder, stopping the boy from screaming in panic. "I think the only explanation I can think of is your True Love Kiss isn't romantically, but platonically. True Love Kiss is basically a really unbreakable bond between individual. In many cases, it's romantic love, but for you, my only guesses is the trust you give."

"Trust?"

"You just don't love someone because they're handsome or beautiful, but also trust and commitment. Tell me, Mister Argentum: knowing this, why do you think our kisses work while the others doesn't?"

Jonah looked down to his blanket. "Well... I guess I really trust you guys." He looked at Crowley. "Headmaster, you take care of me and I'm forever grateful for that. Not only that, you teach me many things I don't know. And uh..." He scratched his blushing cheek. "I guess I think you as a father for me."

Crowley laughed. "The feeling is mutual, my trouble-making son."

Jonah giggled and turn to Grim. "And you were there since the beginning. You are my best friend and I know you won't leave me alone."

"And I won't." Grim puffed up his chest proudly. "I will always be there for you even if the others are gone."

Jonah laughed. Crowley pulled the boy and the cat into a hug. "Thank you for waking me up," Jonah whispered.

Crowley pressed a light kiss on top of his head. "You are very welcome, my sleeping captain."

Friends. She is trying to help him control his flames for both their sakes. He would get in trouble as much and she wouldn’t have to worry about having a mental breakdown.

Ok so his whole thing is being mad? He is a tomato. We get it calm down.

Tenshi gets along with riddle. She can also gets strict with grim so she gets where he is coming from but she thinks he could tone it down a bit. She often is one of his victims due to being friends with Ace and Duece.

Trey

He is a mum if I’ve ever seen one.

Likes his baking a lot and is often seen getting lessons from him. They are friends.

Cater

He seems nice.

Meh. It’s not like she doesn’t like him it’s just she doesn’t like being in that many pictures. Hanging around him often means selfies.

Ace

Oh boy. He tried to miss detention and leave it on me after he started a fight! Stay clear of him.

Prepare for trouble. He often gets her roped up in his activities and schemes causing her to end up with and earful from an angry dorm head. Definitely friends.

Duece

He seems boring to normal and plain. Mabye he is trying to act normal? He might need to tone it done a bit.

These two are close friends. He helps her sort out Ace and grim. She gets that he is trying to break out of old habits (so is she). She wishes he would loosen up once in a while.

Is he capable of doing anything? He also seems like a jerk.

She is friends with him. He teases her a lot however. From her scars to her outfit he had something to say. They are often seen bickering.

He is like if Trey and Ace were combined.

I’d say they are friends. She probably help him with Leona from time to time.

He is massive. I bet he could snap a tree in half.

They are definitely friends. She has it on her bucket list to pet his ears and tail at least once.

He definitely is a shady person. His tone and posture gave me that much.

After the whole over blot thing she trusted him a little more but not a lot. She’s still wary of him and on guard whenever she is around him.

No. Staying clear of him.

Personal space is a big issue. She has her bubble floyd breaks it a lot. Questions is another issue. He always has something to ask. If she doesn’t answer he gets in a bad mood and persists until she cracks. Unfortunately for him she doesn’t crack easily so he could have the same questions for months.

He is shady 2.0.

Same thing with azul. Shady business man. On guard. She trusts him a little bit more but not a lot more.

It’s a complicated friendship. He is slightly better than floyd but he sometimes forgets her boundaries which are very important to Tenshi.

He seemed nice but something about him just makes me wary. Mabye it’s the slight undertone of hatred in his voice or they way he would always put on an act. Whatever it was I’m gonna stay clear of him.

Still a lot of distrust on her part. Tries to warm up to him but she always ends up back at square one. She acts nice to him though.
