After a quick day off, we're back. And One Day One Shot December continues.
Today's figure was a clearance find from a few months back - Marvel Legends Cyclops, from the Age of Apocalypse line.
A cyclops from an alternate reality that dares to ask "what if cyclops drank redbulls and punched holes in his walls"
I'm not a huge Marvel Legends collector, but I couldn't pass this one up. The price was a huge factor, but also love this one-off story redesigns. And I have a huge soft spot for Age of Apocalypse.
Great sculpt, especially on the hair and the asymmetrical armor. Incredible colors on this (mostly unpainted) plastic. I love the scuffing and bronze tarnish effect they got on the gold armor.
Earh 911 is mostly how I dubbed the Earth they are from back then, just stuck with it.
They are based mostly on the 90's version, X-men Legends and some other more modern sources. Some of them are considerably more powerful/stronger version of those but that's the general gist of it.
(added some extra description stuff on these versions, some more similar to the regulars than others)
Now Im officially ready for X-Men 97!
(was planning to add a bit more info on my versions, but these high effort posts never blow up so I wont bother with that effort XD )
No real-life people (No, you can't submit Jesus or the Pope)
Only submit a character once. You can submit as many other characters as you like
Catholic-coded characters are allowed. If your character is not from Earth but they follow a religion that is clearly inspired/based on Catholicism, then it's ok. (ex: Church of Seiros in Fire Emblem Three Houses)
Orthodox Christians in communion with Rome are allowed. (Ex: Copts, Greek Orthodox, etc. Click link to see the list)
Rule Modification: Eastern and Oriental Orthodox Christians(implied or hcs supported by text) are allowed. Click here for details.
If a headcanon can be supported by the text then the character is allowed. (ex: the Familia Madrigal from Encanto). Will accept simple explanations like "Donatello makes a cross"
Former Catholics/Lapse Catholics/non-religious characters are allowed only if being ex-Catholic is important to their characterization or story (themes about religious guilt or trauma).
Characters from religious allegories/texts that were heavily inspired by the creator's catholic faith are allowed (ex: Lord of the Rings and Narnia)
Biblically inspired characters are allowed (ex: Castiel from Supernatural or Aziraphale from Good Omens)
Characters from horror movies are allowed. Demons, however, are not. Unless you want to argue that the Demon is still Catholic, then be my guest.
Propaganda is allowed and encouraged. No holy wars tho, we gotta learn from our mistakes.

The combination of RoLo fanfics and Classic Souls led to this. I just like the idea of my ships slowly dancing to slow music and just being all lovey-dovey. I still plan on recreating a scene from my favorite Rom Coms, so please be patient; same to ZelGan.
Sorry for the awkward cuts as well, I’m still new to this type of video editing
Hasbro is celebrating the 40th anniversary (2024) of the iconic Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars storyline (1984) with a new wave of Marvel Legends Series figures paying homage to the classic Mattel action figures from the 1980s.
