What if one of the darkest hours in Batman's crime-fighting career never happened? Thirty-five years ago, fans voted on Jason Todd's fate after his brutal encounter with The Joker, which set Jason on the path to becoming the gun-toting vigilante Red Hood. But suppose fans had voted differently... DC Comics transports you back in time with this special faux-simile edition of Batman #428 in which Robin lives! Featuring pages reconstructed from artist Jim Aparo's alternate art boards--which have been plucked from the DC vault and fully restored and remastered--this reedited version of A Death in the Family, Book Three turns the Dark Knight's greatest tragedy into a moment of triumph.

The F1 movie should have been pure yaoi, a Landoscar title rivals to lovers story. Sparks are beginning to form between them, but they also find themselves fighting each other for the title. Something finally happens between them but that just makes things even more complicated.
Imagine the internal conflict of choosing between a WDC or each other. The juxtaposition between the heated on-track battles and the hungry, passionate lovemaking (like they’ll be getting nasty here). The added stress of having to hide their relationship from the rest of the world. The hurt of the media theorizing and speculating when both of them really know the truth. The wish that things would’ve been different.
Other plot points:
- Both DNF in one race, and also survive almost getting caught (bad faith actor hired by Laurent Rossi). They decide to call things off, no matter how much it hurts.
- In addition to that, Carlos kinda senses something going on and plants doubts in Oscar’s mind.
- Both of them go to either Seb or Lewis for advice that will end up enlightening them. They try to hide specifics but both can tell who’s who.
- Them trying to satisfy their desires during the GP weekend but also trying to be DL.
- Both ending up on the podium and resisting the urge to kiss each other.
Other details:
- Directed by either Luca Guadagnino or Ang Lee
- 120+ minutes
- R-rated
- Cameos from Hurley Haywood, Charlie Martin, Matt Bishop etc.
me ⇨ im a new-ish writer and go by she/her. i also dont have a laptop at the moment so all of this is written on my phone, thus meaning there will be vigorous spelling mistakes.
my work ⇨ ill write what i want and what people request as long as its not weird. ill write smut, fluff, and angst for anyone. and youre all responsible for what you read, not me.
So...this is how I'd go about assembling the Batfamily in Reeves verse. I have (at least the movies about Jason) completely developed in my brain, but well, writing the scripts is a whole other issue. I could, but 2k fics are too much for me at the moment, so I thought I'd share this with the world, free some space in my brain, so to speak. Praying that someone out there, that has the actual pull to make this happen, reads this and maybe uses it a little. Mainly about Jason, because my poor boy deserves better, and an live action portrayal that is accurate and true to character, instead of the constant angst trainreck that is his life in the comics, for some reason.
The more detailed an idea is, the more doubts I have about it, idk. Dick's is less developed since pretty much everyone is familiar with him, so I kinda skipped him, sorry. And Damian...well, I don't know enough about him to write him much more than he is, and tbh, I'd like to do something with him and Jon more than anything else.
Here it goes!!! (Also, I'm just a fan, so please don't hate on this, yeah? If you don't like it, move on.)
Batman: Gravity / Gravitas/ Gravitational Pull
(Dick's origin story as Robin movie, Zucco, Selina helps, Ace shows up, Zucco almost dies but D!R decides not to, little scenes with Batgirl (?),etc)
•Robin the first*: Dick's solo movie when he's older, establishing the Titans (Babs, Roy, Donna, Joey(?)), Deathstroke as antagonist(?). He ends the movie as Nightwing (?).
Batman: Mind Games
(Jason as Robin origin story, Jason steals the Batmobile tires, B sends him to a home. Mad Hatter/ Dollmaker is buying kids from Ma Gunn's and Jay helps B & Gordon realize this and to put a stop to it, B ends up kidnapped and Nightwing isn't answering Agent A and Batgirl is holed up in the precinct with Gordon; so Jay dresses up as Robin and goes to try and stop the freak. He trips the rogue with his marbles and knocks him out, waiting until Batgirl/Nightwing come to free the hostages from the tech, keeping the conscious kids calm. Dick is surprised about Jay but not a dick about it. Bruce offers to adopt Jay, and says it's not necessary to be Robin too, but Dick Is all "unless you want to, little wing! I'm gonna teach you all the *best* moves B is too old to do!" Sue me, I want one happy Batfamily, ok? Ok).
•Robin the second*: Jason's solo movie, Kid Devil Pen pal, Kyle(?), Rose(?), Gar(?) or the Titans say he's too little?; Catwoman/Ivy/Nocturna as mentors/aunts? Heist movie. Professor Pig/Toymaker as antagonist? He ends up saving the Titans/Batman despite the doubts about him.
Batman: "A death in the family"/[?]
(Garzonas/child trafficking ring; they butt heads about 'procedure' and 'too much violence'; Barbara is paralyzed; Jay looks for Haywood, she sells him out to Joker, Jason dies. A few months later, B gets called to deal with Flashpoint and finds out Flash is the reason Jay died ("Allen, you killed my son? You killed my SON!" "I'm sorry- Bruce, I'm-" "Effective immediately, Allen's tenure in the Justice League is terminated. Central City will be relegated to Wallace, if he's ready to take on the name." "Bruce!" "If he can not use his powers responsibly, he can not be trusted with them. Unless you want me to give you an antidote." "...you don't have one." "Are you willing to try me?" post-credit scene. Jay's hand breaking the ground of his grave post-post credit scene)
Batman: [?]/Bane of the City
(Tim as Robin Origin story. Broken back, Dick as Batman for a little while, they defeat Bane, Bruce heals a little bit, Barbara remakes herself as Oracle and saves their asses at a crucial moment, etc. Jason is alive and with the LoA, baby!Damián? post-credit scene.)
•Robin the third*: Tim's solo movie, he finds Connor and goes against Lex? + Cassie and Bart, of course. Steph is introduced at the end (iconic brick-in-the-face moment).
Batman: Under the Red Hood/[?]
(RH takes over the Alley in a couple of weeks; steals the kryptonite and ruins deals for Black Mask; kills the leutenants of the mobs and gains control over them, etc. ("B, this guys is not out of control." "Dick?" "I'd say this guy is completely in control. Look at these! He hasn't killed a single innocent. Every one of these men and woman have charges for murder, rape, abuse, child pornography or molestation, human trafficking... and all of them got away with it or got the minimal sentence or had the charges dropped or the witnesses killed. They weren't casualities, they were targeted." "It doesn't matter, he's still killing people." "Yeah, bad people! The worst society has to offer." "Dick..." "Bruce, we have bigger problems than a man that keeps the civilians out of things, the children protected and only takes his rage on the worst of humanity.") Jason still attacks Tim at TT, but only to keep him out of the final confrontation -broken wrist, ankle and bruised ribs- ("No more dead Robins" is written in Jason's blood on the wall). Jason as RH reveal; B accepts Jay killing Joker -he turns around and gives him permission- but the damn clown blows up the building before he can and scapes even after RH shoots him a few times. Jason collapses in Bruce's arms, sobbing, terrified. B asks Jay to comes home and he does, to a heartfelt reunion. Jason apologizes to Tim, giving him the R he cut off the Robin suit in the case instead of the one he took in the Tower. Damian's existence bomb drop post-credit scene. One big happy Batfamily, see?).
•Robin the fourth*: Steph's solo movie. She starts the movie as Spoiler, ends the movie as Robin but dead. Steph tries to stop her dad, meets R!Tim, they fall in love somewhere in the middle. R!Tim wants her as part of the Titans, she refuses cuz her mom doesn't know about Spoiler and she wants to stay in Gotham due to Cluemaster. Jack Drake forces Tim to give up Robin (Steph finds out his identity due to him screaming threats to Bruce) and Bruce offers R to her a few days later, she agrees. Tim doesn't like ir, but Steph is Tim's only contact with the Batfam, so he's ok-ish with it. Cluemaster realizes his daughter is Spoiler/the new Robin and sells the info to Sionis, hoping he'll get him out of prison (he thinks Black Mask will use it to find out who Batman is, not torture her to death, but still). B&Steph butt heads, some "you're too much like Jason" comments/classism thrown her way (Jason is in the LoA trying to convince Talia to give up Damian to B, btw) She starts a war between two gangs to stop them destroying her block/neighborhood's business and homes. BM kidnaps her then, and tries to torture the info of Batman and Red Hood (his bitter enemy) out of her. She holds out until N&B&RH rescue her, but too late. She "dies" then ("was I a good Robin?" "you were a great Robin"). (Post-credit scene is her waking up gasping in a hospital bed, her window shows a Savanna.)
Batman: Blood Son/ Blood Feud
(Damian gets to Gotham to witness the end tail of the gang war after Steph's death. Tim is back in the Manor, back as Robin (he put on the suit to stop the war and BM; since Jack is in a coma he doesn't care anymore), working with B & N & RH to clean things up. R almost kills BM by beating him, so RH puts a blade to the guy's throat and says he will kill him if Tim says the word. Tim, in the end, says no. RH then cuts through BM's spinal cord, leaving him paralyzed. ("As a compromise" he grins savagely at Batman, winking.) Damian tries to off Tim the moment they meet, but Tim is very on edge and puts him down quickly and brutally ("You want to be Robin, remplace Steph, with *those* skills? Ha! Give me a break/Pathetic.") Dick tries to explain how fragile Tim is at the moment, while Jason & Alfred try to make them bond by cooking together, and B makes them solve cold cases together (it turns into a competition, of course, but since it ends with Tim spending less Time on the field, B doesn't stop it). Jack dies after an attack at the hospital by Cap Boomerang; after the funeral he goes out as RR, to get revenge. Zsasz gets him first, since RR is out of it. Damian -who was following him, not worried- ends up saving Tim after Zsasz kidnaps him on BM's orders, as payback. He stalls Zsasz until the others get there and cuts off one of his arms while trying not to kill him. (I wanna add Killer Croc here somehow, he's hired but Damián either convinces him to leave or beats him by drugging him or something). While Tim is recovering in the hospital/cave he passes the R to him. (''You'll do a good job." "Tt, of course I will." "Just...maybe get a less sharp weapon?" "Because blunt force trauma is more elegant?" "Nop. It's usually less deadly, tho."))
The (*) means I have no idea for a tittle. I know I want it to be secuencial, like a series, because that's what they are lol.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen Deadline pull an about-face *this* abruptly. Matt Damon’s lawyers must’ve REALLY got in that ass, lol. pic.twitter.com/NnuwWjRsD0

Good for Matt Damon! Get in there, get the lawyers involved, get it done.
(I think people forget his mom is a teacher and Matt has spoken for her union before. The man knows the meaning of a union)

I love that whenever roosterteeth is trending on Tumblr, it's not a good thing.
Sayonara, you were my high school love and I let you into my wallet for 10 years but it's time for you to finally be laid to pieces.
I had achievement hunter (until the issue with Ray caused him to leave) then tentative returned for Kdin, Matt, Jeremy, Mica, iffy, Alfredo, and Trevor.
I'd drop achievement hunter when it was revealed that Ryan Haywood was grooming and soliciting minor female fans while under the guise of "wife/family guy." Roosterteeth did it's bare minimum to the community by legally pursuing after Ryan but there was no transparency in regards to that.
Mica left for "unknown" reasons before the Ryan Haywood scandal but then years later explained why she left. the company was only using her to be in contact with her father and white dudes making rt not a safe work environment, not so much from racist fans, but racism was so prevalent in the company including her direct boss, one of the founders of the goddamned company! surprise, surprise!
to which Geoff would go on camera and cry about it on the ah podcast and offer empty apologies and blubber about bullying from the fans side in his own experience and not talk deep into the company culture and management which is what Mica pointed out exclusively!
& then Kdin transitioned and revealed that Geoff and others in achievement hunter were horrible pieces of shit before her transition and even after her transition and how the company exploited her work and used her in pride promos but did not pay her for her inclusion for those "inclusivity" promos. All things that may not have resolved to this day.
I'm saddened to hear that good people who are under this company may have just learned that they're going to be out of a job but honestly fuck Rooster Teeth and ESPECIALLY FUCK WARNER BROTHERS.
Then there was Rwby and its scandals, from the beginning, after Monty tragically passed away and his IP was taken without any regard to his widow, who also knew his IP and how he wanted it to play out.
how the animators were in constant crunch to make the volumes, year after year. how piss poor management was in the animation department when it was under Gray's supervision, putting RWBY in first when they had other animations that were performing well but sidelined them because profits and he was also one of the writers for RWBY.
How he and the other male writers of RWBY played coy with the girls in the show and queer baited for years to keep interest but not confirm anything for whatever reaks
Big congratulations to the Swans for their victory over the Giants at the SCG. It did not look like happening for much of the afternoon, as GWS were on top for three quarters. The Sydney Swans Qualifying Final win report card must pay the ultimate honours to Isaac Heeney for his enormous four quarter effort. The blonde bombshell is all class and finished with 30 touches, 3 goals, and mark of the year.
Heeney was on from the first siren and never stopped lifting his team over the victory line. At times he was a lone hand, however, and there were too many passengers this afternoon.

The Report Card For The Swans In Their Q Final Victory
Isaac Heeney AAA+ - Absolutely brilliant!
Jake Lloyd AA - Produced a great game full of leadership at the clutch moments.
James Rowbottom AA - The feisty heart and toughness of the Swans midfield who tackled hard all afternoon.
James Jordan A+ - Stuck to his task all afternoon and was one of better players over 4 quarters.
Dane Rampe A - Showed leadership and occasional dare from the back line.
Will Haywood A - Classy forward who finished well when he got his opportunities.
Tom Papley A - Got better as the game went on and won some vital contests when it really mattered.
Braeden Campbell A – Was terrific when he came on as the sub in the last quarter and made a massive difference. He should have played the whole match.
Harry Cunningham A – Was the best defender all game and showed composure when it mattered.
Brody Grundy B – Tried hard all afternoon and made a contest. Got better as the match wore on.
Chad Warner B+ – Had a great last quarter and helped the team get it done.
Errol Gulden B – Was well held for much of the game but never stopped running and contributed a lot in the final term.
Logan McDonald C+ - Never stopped running, trying, and although could not provide any aerial power did kick a great goal.
Joel Amartey C – Poor performance but kicked an important goal at the death.
Hayden Mclean C – Failed to mark anything and was poor as a forward.
Lewis Melican C+ - Lacked composure down back but did a few good things too.
Tom McCartin C – Tom was pretty average and did not always provide solid defence.
Nick Blakey C+ - The Lizard lacked his usual mercurial dash and panache but never stopped trying.
Ollie Florent C – Not his usual high standard and we missed his run for most of the match.
Matt Roberts C+ - One of his poorer games and maybe did not handle the final’s pressure as he would have liked.
Luke Parker C – Luke was not at his best.
Justin McInerney C – Jazzy needed the run and was never quite with it.
Callum Mills C – One of his poorer efforts and the final’s atmosphere was beyond him. This season has been a fail for him due to the time out with serious injury from a recreational activity. Coach Longmire shared post-match that Mills had a gastro complaint going into this clash.
Sydney Beat The Giants But Tall Forwards Go Missing
The Sydney Swans tall forwards and big men, more generally, were crap in the air. The GWS controlled the aerial game to the detriment of the Swans. Hayden McLean needs to give more and show more desperation to win contests. Amartey and McDonald are young, but also, must lift, if the Bloods are going to win the Premiership. It is a tough ask when you cannot take contested marks around the ground and especially in the forward line.
Marking and contesting aerially is about positioning and somebody needs to teach these guys how to position themselves properly.
Swans Defence Were Pretty Ordinary Against The Giants
Harry Cunningham was great and gave a four quarter effort. Dane Rampe had good moments and was composed when it mattered. McCartin and Melican tried all night but were rattled at times and off their best. Nick Blakey has had better games but gave effort all match. The Swan's defence have not been top notch all season and will need to do a lot better to win the Premiership. The defence coach at the Swans has been pretty ordinary as adjudged by the results.
Qualifying Final Win By Swans Thanks To A Special Few
The Sydney Swans Qualifying Final win report card indicates that they won this game on the back of towering efforts by a few of their senior best players. Heeney, in the main, Warner in the last quarter, Lloyd, Cunningham, Rowbottom, and Campbell in the final segment of the match.
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2024-09-08/braeden-campbell-stars-for-sydney-swans-after-death-grandfather/104324814
The Bloods must have more winning contributions from more players in the coming Preliminary Final. Paul Roos used to say the defining difference for Premiership winning teams is the performance of their bottom 6 players in the 23.
The Swans need a big lift from at least 18 of their 23. Now, is the time for all these players to give more. Don’t waste 2024!
Getting The Offence Vs Defence Balance Right
Modern AFL football is about getting that balance between offence and defence right. This sounds simplistic but it impacts how you win the ball and how you defend when you don’t have the ball. Effort and belief drives your performance in winning contests but how you are set up around the ball determines second efforts and whether you win the ball back. GWS were better at systematically linking up around the ball to distribute effectively down the ground. Too many times Swan’s players did not support their team mates via second efforts to win contests. Why I don’t know, perhaps John Longmire does? Good teams hunt the ball in packs. Think of Collingwood last year at their best. GWS did this far better than the Swans in this Final.
The Swans must rediscover this team attack if they are going to go all the way in 2024.
