so this is more of a isat in dungeon meshi kinda au than the opposite, the idea is that the King is the dungeon lord/mad mage, his desire being to be able to freeze the dungeon and the country in time

The change belief still exists, and Mirabelle is still a housemaiden destined to save the counrty, so she goes to seek out companions who can help her on her journey

Everyone's reasoning to join is still the same as it was in the game

Also this isn't a redesign of them, more like a dungeon meshified version of their clothes + colors so they could fit in better (imo!!)

originally he was just gonna be a half-foot, but i realized his wish to be able to stay with everyone would hit harder if he would outlive them, so i made them a half elf- halffoot

i removed his hat purely for aesthetic reasons lol, i think he would stand out too much in the dungeon meshi universe with it, but i suppose its true for ingame too so maybe ill give ut back to him if he behaves well

i also wanted to remove his hat so i could see the top if his beatifiul head

his poncho is a bit different, just a few small details so it would better in universe i think

he lost his eye in one of the previous dungeons they were going through

i did have marcille in my mind while designing her outfit, and also theyre kinda similar overall i think?? idk but i love both of them

i gave her braids because its canon in the dungeon meshi universe that taking good care if your hair+unique hairstyles strengthen your magic and also i think its cute

i wasn't sure what race i should make them at first because they're a kid so thwres no point in chosing a shorter race to show his size i thought, but then i remember how cute gnomes are in the verse with their big ol ears and felt like i had to make Bonnie an elf haha

her clothes were the biggest struggle for me, not only figuring out how to make them look a bit more medieval-like but also the colors

I just wish that they’d modelled Kallus more off his VA, David Oyelowo, so that he could just pick up the part in live action, bc I’m gonna have to find it in my heart to love some look-a-like that will probably sound entirely different, all bc they made Kallus white. Like, I get it, the optics in 2014 or whatever of having a black villain in star wars is a lot different than it is today, bc even if Kallus got a redemption arc, I don’t think it was decided from the jump he would have one. Also fan racism would completely change how ppl reacted to Kallus, nevermind how that would complicate any shipping with Zeb (cross-species shipping is already rare in canon, adding real world racism to the mix would effect fan reactions)

LaDS random thoughts.

I've seen players saying that they can't see Zayne as a romantic interest cause he resembles or reminds them of their dads or older brothers that are involved in the medical field... Funnily enough, these players always tend to be Rafayel girlies in most cases, and I find it funny cause in my case is kinda like this but opposite places? Rafayel sometimes reminds me to my dad!

Like not only personality wise but also, my dad used to be quite the artist when I was a child. He was a musician and also painted, I remember seeing him paiting a whole ass scene of a guy holding a dying woman in his arms in one of the walls of our rooms, kinda like a greek sculpture style. I think to see him paiting was that inspired me as a kid to learn to draw, altho I have to admit that I've been quite inconsistent about it, especially cause these were always just hobbies and not something that we decided to take professionally; my two brothers dedicated themselves more to music, while I went to the art route just to pass time.

Anyway, the thing is that I've always had this thought in mind and my mom ended up confirming it lol. My family knows I play L&DS cause I have no shame and they hear me yap about it all the time (They don't even know the name of the game or how... Spicy it gets, however), and my mom knows how much I love Zayne, so one day I showed her the three guys (it was before Sylus debut) and asked her to rate their looks from 1 - 10; I showed her Zayne and she said "I give him 100!" (cause she knew he's my favorite ❤️), then I showed her Xavier and she said "80, he kinda looks childish" (he was wearing his hoodie tho, so I suppose for her he looked too young), then I showed her Rafayel and she said without a second thought "200! He looks cool!"

And I was like... "Really? He's your favorite?" She just shrugged her shoulders and said "He's the one I like how he looks like the most"

And listen, is not like Rafayel resembles to my dad physically... Maybe there are some slight similarities, especially with the hair (and I think that's kinda important lol) but I left it like that. After some time, the devs released the lastest outfits of the three guys (The outfits used for 4 stars cards and that were recently released with Sylus debut, I don't remember their names rn, sorry lol) I showed my mom their outfits because I was drooling for Zayne and asked her which one she liked the most. She said Zayne looked nice, Xavier looked like a prince but of course, she liked Rafayel the most, and I was surprised again and asked her if she was being serious, like the previous time, she didn't comment on Xavier but dismissed Zayne cause he looked like a "Mister or Sir" I don't know if these terms fit with what she meant to say tho, cause words in our native language are different, but what she meant to say is that he looked "Too old for her taste" and the way my jaw dropped... I literally told her "You're older than me! You should probably notice him more than me!" We laughed a lot.

At the end I told her that it was curious and funny how she always chose Rafayel cause out of all the guys, he's the one with the role of the artist; my mom laughed. It was probably his vibe, idk but it's clear for me that my mom has a type and if she were to play the game, she'd definitely be a Rafayel girlie ahaha.

To finish this story, unfortunately my parents divorced years ago, you know things irl are more complicated than games and even tho my dad shares some similarities with Rafayel, they're not exactly the same, they have a lot of differences too so It's not complicated for me to see Raf as someone different and not feel weird when I get cute messages from him, however, I think after this is easy to sense how unserious my parents are, no wonder why Zayne's seriousness got me wrapped around his finger since I first interacted with him xD

Finally, I finished him!

So here he is, the King of Lust himself, Asmodeus! I wanted to take a break from the main cast plus hyperfixation came into play so if I didn't draw Ozzie my brain would have exploded so here we are. I'm putting this under read more because there's a lot of ranting before I get to the notes on the redesign plus pictures to address my points:

To be honest: I don't mind Ozzie's design/outfit in the show. It isn't horrible by any means and there was a time where I could say I even liked it. But when Oops dropped and seeing him without the suit happened, disappointment sunk in.

Are you telling me this man, is a beefcake under that compression suit? The embodiment of lust is jacked and his outfit doesn't show that!?

And while I did say that I did at one time like his design, I never found it really 'sexy' (his voice on the other hand...) and after seeing his beautiful chest all I can do is cry about it.

Also: what is it with Viviziepop and top hats? It's if half of her male cast wears them. It'd make sense for some characters, notability sinners who died in their era that they were popular but it makes no sense for other characters. In this case, I just think Ozzie looks better without one.

Ahem, yeah okay, right, soooo notes:

I noticed one of his earlier looks before the final design he had a longer, thicker and fluffier neck and kinda sad they didn't keep that being it worked with the rooster motif he's suppose to have. I decided to incorporate it back into my design just because I can. Plus, ya know it's fluffy:

I also decided to give him bird feet/chicken legs and make him a bit thicker thighs because excuse me he's part rooster have you seen the meat on those things?!

Because my obsession with his chest, I decided that the outfits should show it off more because, um...chest. Also: FLUFF. idk why I just really wanted to make him fluffy.

The outfit on the right was the one I drew first but I felt it was lacking the regal feel I wanted to go with being he is one of the Deadly Sins and I wanted to show that (along with his chest and fluff but shh). I decided to keep it as a secondary, causal outfit on days off when all you want to just lay on the couch and chill/cuddle with your boyfriend. (likely gonna get rid of the neckless being I mostly just added it because I thought it was funny. If you know, you know.)

After going back at it a second time I decided to go for a burlesque style (Not sure if I nailed it or not) considering his club sorta had that theme going for it and while I'm more than likely going to revisit and change a few things later on, I overall love how the outfit came out.

And of course, a crown. I may get rid of the fire/flaming top in later drawings but I thought it was cool at the time.

I may still revisit the design to maybe add a bit more bull, goat and possible dragon to his design outside of the heads but I think I may save that for when I cerate his full demon form where I'll have those features stand out more. Likely won't have him have his tiny form in my au, no matter how cute it is.

not really a design note persay but kinda want to mention it because it bothers me: I drew/inked and colored both of these at different times which is why the anatomy and coloring is so different from each other. I'm still playing around with clip studio paint tho I think the shading style on the right is the one I'm gonna go with for now on.

As for character/lore notes: I really don't like how it feels as if Ozzie (along with some other characters) was defanged in season two plus how they made him, a deadly sin, not feeling all too threating. Granted, Ozzie being nice isn't the problem (being nice doesn't necessarily mean you're a good person plus I do like that the sins do have some virtues like believing in consent being ya know, complexity and what not suppose to be full on evil) and I even have him being one of the nicer Sins in my AU but still can have his dickish moments and hell, he and Fizz are gonna drag your corpse with the amount of roasting they're dishing you about your sex life because god they were so much fun when both them had more bite. Please bring back my chaotic asshole jester gremlin and his rooster boyfriend tag teaming about how much you suck in bed and just being a general nuisances to society plzthx. (plus ya know, Fizz is a Jester his job is roasting people. Not to say he can't have some kindhearted moments. His friendship with Blitzo gives me life and I love the moment with the deaf kid even if you have to question why a kid is doing at a 18+ event to begin with but that's a whole other can of worms.)

While I'm not going with the circus theme that Viv claims she's going for with each Deadly Sin being based off a circus act (which is a fun idea in theory tbh if that idea expanded on outside of a poorly done aesthetic), I kind of like the idea of a magician motif for Ozzie due to his use of fire plus one of his infernal correspondences happens to be illusions, which we kinda saw him do in Ozzie's. I thought it was a cool touch, regardless if that was intentional or not.

Also, apparently it's canon that Fizzarolli is his first romantic relationship and idk that kinda bothers me. Asmodeus is over thousand years old and in biblical lore he's been in a few relationship (plus what happened in the Book of Tobit with Sarah). Why not play around with that? In my AU, he's been in at least two (Lilith and Mammon respectfully, and I'll talk about that at a later time) before but they were all failed relationships, which soured his view on love for a long time until he fell for Fizz. I also headcanon Ozzie being/use to being a bit of a hopeless romantic, as much as he tries to hide it (poorly).

Hey, I drew some half decent hands for once.

Anyways, yeah, here's my version of Ozzie. Next up with be either Stolas (which is less of an rewrite and more of a damn overhaul because holy shit I really had enough of this guy in canon) or perhaps Beelzebub being I got some ideas for her too.

I surprisingly don't have, like, that many drawing of life series Scott. I really should draw him more.

I don't love how everyone is scared to be creative w/ him and defaults to elf if not directed otherwise. I love creature boys but it's so hard for me to decide on what I want him to be. He's just like,, a little fluffy guy.. put some fluff on his ears, on his chest maybe. He has hoofs in third life like a cow, or a deer (though that's just for me because I love deer Scott so much). I genuinely don't have anything to say for last life and double life, never paid much attention to them (I hardly remember last life + didn't watch his pov, and straight up skipped double life while it happened and haven't gotten around to it yet)

Now limited life is a littleeee bit different:3 I love fishy Scott, so mannyyy ideas in my head for him. He's either a little small fish guy, or big shark (totally not inspired by a fanfic I read) or perhaps he's both and he becomes more shark-like when red. Me and Scooter (idk what else to call you lol) talked about him plenty. He's like fully fish to me, kinda bluish skin, darker blue hair,,, think that fish guy from JRWI (I don't really listen to it, but whichever character Charlie plays). He's probably smaller than normal too, like 5'6, not tiny, but Martyns a pretty big guy too so like 👀 I have my own au and stuff that's based on meangills,,, they're so silly. I do have a somewhat recent drawing of limlife Scott like how I'm describing but he has titties so maybe another time

Secret life Scott is a silly guy, and once again another chance for size differences (I don't even have to change anything,,.., it's just impulse big,,). I think he & Limlife have slightly longer hair. Secret life's is nicely curled and Limlife's is just messy. I also don't have any idea what he is,, like he's just a guy, I don't know how to creaturfy him it's strange. He's one of those guitarists who goes "just like... Play from your heart, man..." When asked for tips, he also only knows how to play riptide on his guitar. One thing I'd like to mention is that I think their entire group goes from rock to goth when red.. I wan......... I wanna see Goths, pls plsss. Get Scott out of that ugly twink translucent coat thing and put him in a denim jacket too.

His outfits probably change a little more drastically between seasons too. I think third life is mostly the same, maybe a little baggier & softer colors. Once again no thoughts on last & double life. Scott is fish and therefore doesn't wear a shirt under his jacket (so he can show off his TITTIES!!!) and thats pretty much it. Scott is a very different in secret life too because I fucking hate his outfit, he now looks like a member of the Queens, okay?

Overtime Scott definitely starts sleeping around more. He was pretty secluded w/ Jimmy during third-life, then as he was introduced to more people during the seasons, he started having a lot more courage to flirt and get with them. He's slept with like half the server, atleast. Or at the very LEAST given them a blowjob (which he's for sure good at giving). This man went from "Oooh I love my hubby" to whoreslut supreme™.

He also changes in kinks and behavior a little: he's more shy, loving, and domestic with Jimmy during third-life. Then as it moved on he gets more adventurous, stupid fish that's happy to experiment with Martyn after being paired up with girls for two seasons, especially now that he's smaller and mmfhfnfhff definitely wants Martyn to stretch him out and play with his weird ass fish genitals. I don't think I even need to explain what happened with him and Impulse, but go read "The first offer" on ao3 (https://archiveofourown.org/works/52197727) if you want it's amazing. Scott just goes ":0 waowww another big man" & gets wrecked a lot. I can't for the life of me decide what his body is like btw, he's either skinny or chubby and it just depends on how I'm feeling that day.

Ya know I get the appeal of comic book artist having their own go at a character but there's gotta be some standard guidelines to a characters features than just an iconic outfit

Like giving a character darker skin and ethnic features that adds so much diversity to the character for one run just to take them away in the next feels like a slap in the face to fans, especially those with those features.

Like I don't think I can make a call on this but it really feels racist even if not intended and just pushes the western white beauty standards

Sorry for the rant, I know this is common in other types of media but I just feel its most prominent in comic books. Its hard for me to write my thoughts and feelings into words but I hope this gets my point across

Dw anon I def get what ur saying. From what ppl have been saying on that post it has been a huge issue for ages in comic books of characters being white-washed and stuff which really sucks.

I’m not sure if there really ARE any standard guidelines for the way the artist draw the characters, which is why this is such an issue. I’m not even sure if there’s guidelines for the outfits or if it’s just whichever one became the most iconic and sort of cemented itself into the character like it’s a personality trait or smth.

I get what ur saying, I don’t I have any authority to call it racist either but it definitely feels… weird? Idk because I guess I can understand like someone said that Damian was made to be like a clone of Bruce or something? Or that’s how Talia ‘designed’ him to be. Or that maybe some people think that yah all the Robin’s should look the same/very similar to keep their identities a secret or make them more inconspicuous or something.

But those are just reasons I made up right now and I don’t think either of them have a lot of weight for anyone trying to argue them so. Damian has more than one origin if I remember correctly and at least one of the ways he was conceived was reconned so I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened to another one of his origins along the line.

It’s just odd. It’s all odd. Idk why dc would put a pass on Damian’s design in his solo series and then also put a pass on this design when they are SOOOO drastically different. Even without the whole racist thing it’s just incredibly jarring to read a whole 12 issue series of him looking one way and then start his next series and have him look entirely different. I gotta bunch of Hazbin fic/au ideas in my head. I doubt I'd do any of them, but I'd like to share for others to try.

1: if alastor actually joined the Vees, he'd have to adapt to the present tech and not just stay a radio host.

This is the thought that if Al accepted Vox's invitation to the Vee's, Vox would either encourage, or make alastor upgrade to the current technology.

Alastor would still be his show-y self, but he'd be way more modern. Basically just a clone of Vox if he was less pathetic. (joking, love my flat faced Prince)

This could just be another radiostatic/radiosilence fic, though I like the thought of a twist, with alastor actually hating this, and eventually having a massive brake down. Him never saying/doing anything because he was either in to deep already, or because his soul was owned, and couldn't do anything if he wanted to.

Also because I picture Vox as a clingy bastard, Vox would basically make alastor do everything with him. Maybe it's just at the beginning, but now they're more of a duo then individual single overlords.

Going more in detail, While Vox would still be in charge of making tech while also being a talk show host and things like that, Al would be more public eye media. Not just radio, but TV and live streams as well. To make it make sense, velvet would be social media, apps and things like that, while Vox and Al would be more TV. The difference is like Youtube and Cable. You know which generation watched more of the other. Though in this, Vox would be more in the background, working on technical stuff, while Al would be more limelight, actually on screen and things like that. Idk, does that make sense? He'd basically be Vox's show pony.

This could also be included with Vox’s whole cult thing. I’ve heard that Vox was a cult leader (televangelist specifically) when he was alive, so maybe he’d make Al join that somehow as well.

I do kinda seeing the two doing everything on and off screen together. Maybe not happily, at least on Al’s side, but they’d do it because 1: Vox was the one who invited Alastor in the first place, 2: Vox is basically Al’s only “friend” out of the Vee’s, and 3: Vox is a clingy bastard. (JkJk)

I’m writing this like I could be a fic, but what got me more excited about those would be Alastor’s new design. He couldn’t just be himself, as he’s already adapted this much, a new outfit would be the bare minimum. Probably a new name too, but but ya know. I couldn’t draw it (I can barely draw the man as it is), but ya know. Maybe throw in some blue or black in there, all the Vee’s have a secondary color with their red/pink, so Al should not be all red.

If this was a fic, I’d love to see it. I definitely couldn’t write it, as I’m more into romance and think this is too technical for me, I’d think I’d be good. I still have bunch of ideas about this, so if you want more, ask.

I know this isn’t a particularly new idea, but I wanted to share my take on it. Idk, maybe my take isn’t that original though. While this was inspired by other take on if Alastor joined the Vee’s, it skyrocketed after listening to “Count the Ways” by Dheusta. I know that it’s a fnaf song, but his impression of Funtime Freddy just reminded me of Alastor’s aura, just a bit more tech-y.

Anyway, I got two more ideas after this. All Vox/Alastor based (can you tell they’re my favorite), but I can’t share them here pre else this will be too long. I’ll show them later, but this is it for now.

I might reveal myself and send in some drawings when I feel a little braver...I'm a little shy, but I'll try my best to gather some courage to maybe render the outfit digitally before sending it in. But I can give some of my ideas here right now.(and also because I'm not 100% satisfied with the current outfit design...)

I tried to keep it vague but also have enough detail that it makes some sense(I'm also very bad at explanation...), but it might not so I'll answer any possible questions.(also I'm not a writer so it may suck...👉👈)

P.S. its a lot longer than I expected

In my version, instead of MC just suddenly get revealed that they've became God, they have to go through a process, where after they break the last contract, they starts to feel more fatigued than usual, and no amount of devil or human energy can give them their energy back. The Seraphim haven't been in the way for the last few weeks and something happened (I don't exactly have a solid reason yet) leading to all of the angels fill the sky, maybe they want to end everything all at once, hence the reason why they've been away to restore their number, train and such. This is also when MC is back by Satan's side in Gehenna, but they haven't chosen a king yet.

Then when the Seraphim descend from heaven, the closer they are to hell the more they can sense a Godly aura around, causing them to panic and look around frantically, when the Seraphim laid eyes on MC, all three froze since they can see that MC is the one radiating said aura. Giving them an entirely different goal, "Save God" basically. And the dynamic of the angels I used are based on your way of including them, so Gabriel is the main pursuer of MC. Then things happened, Gabriel disappeared, leaving Michael and Raphael to fight against, Satan, Belial, Astaroth and Sitri, while Ppyong, Paimon(he's carrying MC, bridal style), Leraye and Zagan protect and try to bring MC into a neighboring country to get more protection while they wait for further reinforcements. But the amount of angels overwhelmed them so Paimon has to put MC down but not before making sure that they're somewhat at a dead end so no one could ambush them from behind. After Paimon put MC down and started firing away, Gabriel appeared and flew straight at MC, none of the devil could shoot at him since his angel underlings are taking hits for him, so in one fell swoop he snatches MC and just started to fly up, making eye contact with Michael and Raphael signaling it's time to retreat, while MC make eye contact with Satan. Satan's anger fell as fear struck his heart. (My MC is a bit of a softer MC, so she just smiles and mouthed 'I will be fine' at Satan to reassure him that she'll survive, but he doesn't seem to be taking in none of that.) The other two Seraphim maneuver around Satan and his subordinates to return to the sky to retreat.

MC faint as they ascend to the sky and when they wake up the Seraphim are just staring at them. Then Gabriel mention about Devil and Human Energy, and how MC would need Angel Energy in heaven, so we had to fuck him. Then a few more days goes by and we fucked Michael and Raphael as well(hate fucking if you will). After a week up there MC just get encased by a cocoon of some kind, starting their "reborn into a God" stage. While they sleep in the cocoon, the devils came up with ideas to invade heaven and sensing the threat, Gabriel brought cocooned MC to the original God's "throne room"(Idk why I imagine he have one, but he have one) since its a little far from the main angel land, he think it should be safe. So when the day come where hell invade heaven, while the 72 devils rage war upon the lower rank angels, the 7 kings go searching for MC.

Something happens that lead the three Seraphim to guard cocooned MC and something lead the kings toward the throne room, making a 7v3 situation but before anything can happen, the cocoon cracks and crumble to reveal MC in a new outfit but with no extra addition or changes(I was planning on adding half and half wings, as well as a decorated halo and horns but I felt like that's too much, so I stuck with the simple designs of God we can see), who's kinda waking up, after the cocoon is completely off of MC and they're completely awake, they just wanted to end the war as quick as possible so they just hurriedly demand both the Seraph and kings to go out and stop the battles. Even though Michael and Raphael still have doubts, they follow MC's command anyways since they're outnumbered if they try to argue.

After the war ended, MC learns to move and create materials to rebuild any broken down houses n such. And while they're at that, they also tried building a whole court room for the judgement of the angels so that all of the devils that have suffered from the angel's actions could give their ideas, but in order to save their pretty asses, the devils can't kill the Seraphs, since they are needed to keep the human world in balance, because MC was tasked(during their time in the cocoon, a mysterious force gave them some tasks that they must do as the new God) with reviving or creating 2 more Seraphs to restore the amount to original. Today we are rating full forms (?) Of characters but I have to be practical-ish

First off we have

Honestly, I can only say good things about him, this is by far my favorite design, however. I feel like they could've given him either a loincloth or harem pants, not both (I might be wrong and that's one piece) I still feel like it doesn't fit. It looks Arabian prince inspired (once more correct me if Im wrong), but the fur collar isn't add anything to the outfit. I feel like if they just accentuated his gold collar more it would have the same effect of fullness :]

Overall: 8.5/10

For some reason his png is huge so points off but even then, I want to draw attention to those sticks on his head. The bat bones? Kinda lacking. I feel like instead they should've just been tattered but other than that he's pretty cool. Tail might have to be fixed though

First off when doing a quick glance compared to every other character, his demon form is the most traditional and simple. Because of this, I'm a little disappointed that the outfit didn't have much pop, you know? As the avatar of pride, you'd think you'd want his outfit to draw your eye but no ;( Instead of the flowy waistcoat maybe an actual peacock fan and more feather in his design. A problem you can't really fix but I feel like instead of to impress, he'd display the fan and open his wings to full size to look bigger and intimate

Overall: A disappointing 6/10

Much like Luci, his design looks more traditional and unlike him, his outfit makes up for it. However, my ONLY complaint is the orientation. It's good but not spread properly. All the detail seems to be drawn to the chest so maybe remove the jacket and do a full harness? Or do a full jacket with a harness peeking underneath. Also solid pants and combat boots to match

Overall: 9/10

For some reason all the pngs are different sizes idk how to fix it BUT not too many critiques on this. Just remove the jacket and go full turtleneck and suspenders. Or go full oversized hoodie. As usual, the pants are atrocious but they all are so no points off

A ten followed by an immediate -20. It's tacky and overpopulated like they added stuff and forgot they already had something there. It's atrocious and Asmo would never stand for this. The top should be without that collar (what's solomares obsession with non-practical ugly collars) and move the scorpion to his upper arm or turn it into a corset design. Scrap the quilt design and more evenly space the roses. Make the pant legs both black but add small chains and harnesses to get the same effect. Heels.

This is atrocious for someone born from Luci. Putting aside my previous bias, it's an ok outfit. The top could slay but the pants drown it out. Bigass Gucci belt buckle also gots to go. Keep the boa because it's kinda cute. The tail looks like it pinches, no thanks. Keep that

I don't have the room for the angels but I'm giving Simeon a 9/10 and Luke an 8/10 just because I feel like there's more they could've done for an angel form than just white clothes. Wings at least.

kuusuke operates as a mad scientist since humans aren't allowed into the monster world (afaik humans arent even seen outside of jackson, who is half monster). idk what he makes tho. maybe he pulls a doctor finklestein and makes bone animals to roam the monster world?

kuusuke is the one who got his family into the monster world btw. i mean he definitely found it p quickly after kusuo started morphing and speaking in tongues and shit

kuusuke would LOVE the monster world, at least at first. he might get bored really quickly, but he'd love being able to be more of a crazy bastard than he already is

kuusuke functions as a head cultist for kusuo, but instead of strengthening him with sacrifices and praying for protection, he weakens him with sacrifices (the limiters) and prays for himself to be smote (kusuo to play games with him) (kusuo ignores him a lot)

maybe he made amp/anpu like he did warp. idk.

Saiki Kurumi / Saiki Kuniharu - Cult Worshipper (Human)

they were 100% human before being dragged into the monster world due to their sons

they basically live the same as they do in canon tbh i dont think a lot would change in the monster world

during the new years chapter maybe instead of saying kusuo has powers, they say something about his eldritchness or how glad they are to "worship" such a chill god. god i wanna write this now.

Kaidou Shun - Vampire

okay so not ACTUALLY a vampire but i think it was nopsi who had like an au where kaidou was like a weaker version of a vampire?? GOD i dont remember the name (hampir?? i cant find it on wikipedia, did it start with an f????). for all intents and purposes, im just gonna consider him a weak vampire

i cant remember if he'd be made thru a human/vampire relationship but if he was then i think we should play into the manga hair colors of his siblings and say that whole toki and sora and his mother are all full vampires, he was half vampire (perhaps he's from the father's side of the family from a previous relationship, since his mother has purple hair in her manga cover i think??)

draculara has her red drinks and her spf and her cute little parasol so OF COURSE kaidou has all of those as well. i think it would be very funny if kaidou had his umbrella customized to look like a hidden anime weapon, but it wasn't waterproof so he has to use a different one when it rains

okay so this might be controversial but imagine:

everyone's chatting like normal, nendous head falls off, everyone goes deathly silent, nendou puts it back on and goes back to talking, cue kaidou screeching

bc im rewriting this im not gonna go thru my thought process so my idea was that takeuchi was a mad scientist who created midori after himself bc he only had access to a mirror (neither realized they looked the same). takeuchi died and chouno, who was smitten with midori, remade takeuchi who midori named riki and chose to raise as her own. chouno intended it as a poetic final goodbye but cut to 16 years later and hes still not over her lol

nendou being undead could also play into his appreciation for life.... protecting the obviously smaller and weaker saiki and kaidou.... his care for his dad that he never met (altho he might have two dads in this au?).... THE HAMSTER SCENE. NENDOU :((((

for those who dont know tomie, she's basically So Beautiful that men are supernaturally attracted to her until she drives them mad with her beauty. they cut her up and scatter her remains and they turn into more tomies

however. teruhashi isnt just a pretty girl. she's The Perfect Pretty Girl. so we can just ignore all the bloodshed and murder and deathmatches :D

makoto is more of a teenage/ya heartthrob than a vengeful spirit tho so we can get rid of all the cool stuff like fortune telling and driving to suicide

okay i need to preface this with something that is very important to me about this, the Japanese creature the jikininki/shoku-jinki originated in the story of musou the preist. as far as ive been able to see, there is a second story featured on wikipedia about a pregnant woman that is legitimately someone's fucking oc insert. im not making this up, it appeared one goddamn day and i dont want to make an acc just to get rid of it but i dont want to have my ip address just There and i dont know how to like draw attention to it. so please know that the story of musou is the only legitimate source of the jikininki and the "jijinki" are just someones fucking oc inserts. i dont know why they did this, i dont know how it's still there bc its been YEARS how has no one removed it??

Fuck it, unfinished character designs! Some new ones this time.

This is my design for night, I was going to have her be an owl, and have a half moon mask, but i went with more of a spider vibe (which is why its not done) because she lives in a web, like a dream catcher, which was actually her first design, to actually be the moon

I did decide to keep the owl beak because i fucking love owls they’re such cute little freaks. Anyway, I’m going to give her a different shirt, maybe add arm warmers

Next we got Day

Originally he was based on Apollo, so my vague approximation of an ancient greek god, with the toga and all that, he was also supposed to be a fall tree. But he kinda gave my medow where you’d find bambi vibes, so I decided yeah lets make him a deer. The outfit is inspired by those godforsaken AI generated drawings I found on Pinterest and thought were actual art. It is still my own design, just the whole hoodie over a dress thing wasn’t. I’m changing the outfit to make it look cooler soon anyway, I might go back to the greek god concept.

Then I had this idea a while ago that i could do something with, idk what but it involves sentient plants, because theyre fun as fuck to draw

On the left are a flytrapper and some dandilion inspired plants, and on the right is a drawing i did a while ago of the emotion Joy. I decided the concepts would go pretty well together and Joy might make an interesting side character. The flowers were some doodles done in my notebook, so they’re jusy concepts at the moment

I might add in some of my other emotion characters as creations Clover made, since some of them look like dolls, but I also have a bunch of little clown drawings that be little creations, I’m not sure.

This was a doodle i did before deciding on a willow instead of an average tree. I picked willows because theyre flexible and resilient. Also they’re cool.

I’m thinking like near or at the end of the story she’s gonna be lit on fire, that’s why I went with a tree. I did a little drawing prompt thing and it gave me smoke hair, and i figured (at five am, sleep deprived) yeah thats good for a charcoal creature. I’m probably gonna change her outfit with her new forms.

I haven’t drawn the charcoal creature Ash yet, because I dont know how the willow version looks yet, or how willow burns, so I’m doing my research!

Okay, this was actually super hard to answer because I don't actually have like playlists for my fave characters. But these are the songs I went with. These aren't songs that I think are specifically about the character or apply to their lives/situations in any way.

I just think these are songs that they would like by bands that they would like. I actually think Damian and Tim would have pretty compatible music tastes tbh. I think Damian would have a more varied music taste while Tim is more of a music snob. Also I think both Damian and Tim would be really into My Chemical Romance but they would for sure argue over which album is the best album.

I think Tim has a very 90s skater boy fashion. He looks at a shirt and thinks "I'm gonna cut the sleeves off that and then wear it over a different shirt" ya know. Like the fits they draw him in in the early Robin 93' comics are genuinely his vibe. Some of the outfits below are too cool for Tim in my opinion but I just think that if he's trying to look nice he'd tuck his multiple shirts into his pants.

Damian:

Damian, in my opinion, would very much care about his appearance. Not in a "worried-about-what-people-think-of-me" way but in like a general just like... he just wants to look nice way idk how to describe it. BUT he also wants to be comfy. So I think he would have a very "polished-and-clean-but-still-comfy" vibe. I also think he would like darker colors and maybe like muted earth tones. Also I think he should accessorize because that's fun but I could also see him thinking accessories to an outfit are frivolous so.

As for your last one. I'm not a writer so I'll answer 22 instead.

I love when writers tap into how Tim can be a petty bitch sometimes.

Something I hate: When writers woobify him and make him like this helpless victim character that cries about everything.

Damian:

I think a good writer for Damian has to actually have a good understanding of his character. I actually find it super hard to find good Damian fics because I'm VERY picky.

I think there needs to be a good balance of him being very blunt and direct and kinda mean at times with the fact that he's always trying to do what he thinks is right and that he is good. Also there is always a logic behind Damian's actions.

Something I hate: When people make him just like this kid with a sword that constantly is on the verge of killing people/wanting to kill people???????

Batman Returns is on and this movie is...

okay we love Michelle Pfeiffer as crazy Selina Kyle in this

and also the Poodle Lady and her poodle (who is the poodle from Silence of the Lambs fyi)

but this movie is a mess actually? Visually cool. Walken and Pfeiffer are having fun etc but it's a mess. Different ways to show Batman are fine. Not every version has to get into details or moral quandaries. Early-comic-style Batman is fine. Style over substance can be fun.

But it's a mess? So much going on it's not even a Batman movie, though it keeps occasionally trying to remember it is by half-heartedly drawing parallels between Bruce and the Penguin or Bruce and Selina, but it's not done in any meaningful way. It should have been Catwoman (rip Halle Berry movie), entirely her point of view with guest appearances from Batman or whoever. Or the Penguin, but... of all the Penguins to exist... this is not the one I'd choose to carry a whole movie.

Anyway, my bigger issue with it is not that the story has no focus because, whatever, it's a superhero movie. It's that the style and the cool ArtDeco/not ArtDeco/1940s/90s set design and Catwoman's outfit distract you from noticing how little thought went into this version of Gotham.

I am sorry but unless Max Schrek's department store has the best wages and benefits in town... most regular working class people do not give a single shit about a loud rich guy in their city? He doesn't even cross their mind unless he's being annoying or they work for him. Which Tim Burton and whoever wrote this do not understand, for some reason. Maybe not being working class?

The idea that people do know Bruce Wayne is because the playboy persona in the news or the fact that Wayne Industries is generally considered a good employer in Gotham.

Comically weird looking Max Schrek would not be the town's favorite guy. At least not as he is in this. I think we are supposed to believe he does very public charity works? But does it even say?

This Penguin is gross in this for some reason. Also... like, he is a Thalidomide baby--but he isn't because that wouldn't make him a tragic violent freak who was born evil, so they don't mention it. But Thalidomide babies grew up and lived and presumably saw this fucking movie? The flippers are an addition either just for this movie or an AU comic. Which is a real weird choice the more I think about it. The entire freak show part is handled weird as well. (Turns out the freak show *is* actually violent and bad! The world was right to fear and ostracized them, I guess! Cool. They could have, as a criminal organization, been compared to the group of rich and powerful white men controlling the city, or attending Max's party. Something idk.)

Just... all around odd. If you cut the Penguin from this movie, and just left Shreck, Selina, and Bruce, you'd be fine. Frankly, just Selina and Bruce would have been fine. OR Shreck and Bruce, for rich industrialists in Gotham parallels. If you keep the Penguin in, then it should be Oswald v Bruce as two orphaned sons of privilege who grew up weird in different ways, affected by whatever Gotham is.

Sorry. But dapper, effete Penguin in his little suits turned into... this guy... is so baffling to me. All of this movie is. I will still watch it though, obviously.

The first Burton Batman has a dark vision of Gotham but at least the vision is consistent, even if the script (or maybe Burton i don't know) want us to believe that very normal Vicky Vale and very abnormal Bruce are a good couple.

If I rebooted Danny Phantom part 8

(Redesign Edition)

-I would have an plot point that Phantom starts with the litchenburg scars and alive Danny's scars will get bigger the more he transforms until they match Phantom's. I've always liked the idea of Danny and Phantom's differences starting to blur while still staying distinctly different

-Why is this relevant? Well, I'm glad you asked. As I've said before, I'd give Danny a black and white shirt with a NASA symbol, but as the scars grow, so does his outfit to try to hide them.

-As the scars grow onto his neck and arms he starts to wear a white turtleneck under the T-shirt which he hates but he wants to hide the scars so he wears anyway. Then, when it starts to grow onto his face he discovers makeup and trades the turtleneck for a red or black jacket.

-I'd give Sam some sleeves. She can keep the crop top but I want her to have sleeves. Inside if her circle I'd put something like 'Eat The Rich " in cursive, I think it'd be cool if the text changed every episode. Give her more jewelry and the giant eyeliner wings you see in emo girls. I'd also give her a ton of fishnet designs and take away her skirt design so it doesn't clash with the fishnets, sorry.

-Since I took away her plaid skirt, I'll give her neon green laced platform doc martens to keep that Danny symbolism. BUT I've always thought it was weird how they connect her outfit to Danny but not tucker. They really try to only make them friends bc of Danny and I think that's stupid, so one shoe has the green but the other has a yellowy-orange for Tucker bc I feel like that's a nice color for him.

-Tucker is the only one in the friend group who doesn't have that circle on his shirt, so I'll give him a yellowy-orange circle. No turtleneck, but give him long sleeves. Give him cargo shorts, I dunno he seems like the type to wear shorts with long sleeves. Maybe change his hat color to match the circle? Add some symbolism to connect him to Sam and Danny?

-Maybe I should give Danny some purple and yellowy-orange things for symbolism? Idk what do you guys think
