i think more people need to turn their queer discourse posts into inclusive & depthful positivity posts. it's not healthy that the harmful things queer people say about their peers are so difficult to escape, even when people are going against it. arguing constantly (to no avail) isn't helping.
mspec lesbians and lesboys deserve to hear their peers are proud of them, and happy to stand with them. aces and aros deserve to hear how amazing and vital their presence in this community is. non-dysphoric trans people deserve to hear their transness could only add more beauty to our community. all queers deserve words (and actions) of kindness and support. pride and solidarity.
not just arguments and that they're valid.

for the trans ppl
if you came out as a kid youre valid!
if you came out as a teen youre valid!
if you came out as an adult youre valid!
if you came out as an elder youre valid!
if you did show signs of being trans as a kid youre valid!
if you didnt show signs of being trans as a kid youre valid!
if you have dysphoria youre valid!
if you dont have dysphoria youre valid!
if you bind youre valid! (be safe tho)
if you dont want to bind youre valid!
if you cant bind youre valid!
if youre trans, in any way, youre valid <3 take care of yourself
(transmeds dont you fucking dare interact, nobody wants you here.)

Transphobes: You can't be trans!!! You're not dysphoric and your gender is too weird and you don't even try to pass!!
Me: oh, so sad
Me: Anyways *continues to be trans*

low-dysphoric culture is your partner trying to convert you to your agab because you're "not dysphoric enough to be trans/nb"
Dysphoric culture is!
Also, oh no! That doesn't sound like a very good partner thing for them to do (at all. that sounds really horrible of them). Your dysphoria is absolutely enough, and trans/nonbinary people don't need any dysphoria to be valid.

as a trans man who suffers from pretty severe gender dysphoria, the take that “you need to have dysphoria to be trans” has always felt so weird to me. it was never fully clear that when i felt uncomfortable or outright disgusted at being called a girl or a woman that i wasn’t one. but when someone addressed me as sir, or as a boy, or with he/him, that’s when i knew i wanted to be a boy; that i was a boy. transness is not inherently defined by dysphoria.

trans eddie who comes out to steve and steve is like okay. but i don't like. Get It. like he's supportive but he just doesn't get how eddie knows he's a guy. and eddie's like well if everyone called you a girl you'd be uncomfortable right. and steve's like. idk. try it.
and bc eddie's the way he is, over dramatic and always ready to do The Most Possible, he rallies anyone who knows about him plus the kids (he hasn't come out to them but he tells them steve lost a bet and they're all frankly a little too ready to believe that, steve's honestly a little offended) and tells them steve's a girl for the next week. everyone calls her stevie and uses feminine pronouns and any time they split up boy/girl for anything she goes with the girls. they can't do anything about her body obviously and eddie's not one for gender roles so stevie dresses as normal for her, although she does go to a girls night with robin and nancy and they do her makeup and shit
and at the end of it eddie's like see wasn't that weird? and steve's like no???? like i tried to put myself in the headspace of a girl but honestly it was nice???? wasn't weird at all i liked girls night that was fun. and eddie's like. uh. steve.
and that's how they end up being a t4t couple

The way someone labels themself doesn't have anything to do with you. It doesn't change anything about your identity and it doesn't mean they want you to change your identity. It's their identity, not yours. Chill.

“If you aren’t dysphoric then you’re just choosing to be trans” Me, literally having first mentioned thinking I might be a gender other than my agab when I was 8 years old:

question about pinned: wtf would a non-dysphoric trans culture blog be? 😭 "non-dysphoric trans culture is being happy i dont struggle with dysphoria 💕💕" like ??? trans culture blog sure but specifically a non-dysphoric trans culture?
Mod personally has a lot of dysphoria and can’t really imagine having low/no dysphoria but if someone did start a blog it would probably be something more like this blog.
So not a “wow I’m glad I don’t have dysphoria” but probably more talking about gender nonconformity, coming out, how to navigate the medical system, struggles of being non-dysphoric trans, etc.
This blog isn’t just “dysphoric trans culture is being sad I struggle with dysphoria 💕💞💔” (to copy your example anon) either. People talk about their experiences and share advice.

it’s almost like transmeds don’t actually care about “real transsexuals” and just want someone to bully 🤔
