Fentons and the joker
So the fentons are in gothem for whatever reason, yada yada yada...BUT rather than danny its JACK that went phyco on the joker???:)
.
.
.
Its just after danny revealed himself as phantom, it took some time to cope with it but the fenton parents support danny (as long as hes relatively safe) being phantom, in amity.
But right now Their in gothem, and jack and maddie are in protective mode, jazz and danny and a little annoyed since after danny revealed himself as phantom their protectiveness trippeled, usualy that wasent a problem, amity was their home, none of the ghosts really wanted to hurt danny, and they have access to resources and support when needed
But their not in amity, so if they get hurt they have limited options, and apparently jack and maddie take thay as :their children could be in danger, stay aware
Danny actually dosent mind it, he's outside of his haunt but he still feels as safe as can be
Jazz is trying to lecture them on the unhealthy coping mechanisms they've developed but that aside she dosent really mind
That was until they got a news report that their was a prison breakout
Danny and jazz are trying to keep their parents from pulling out the fenton bazookas
And jack and maddie are making sure the trackers on their children are working
Well suddenly the street is filled with smoke, there was screaming, laughing and the sounds of people getting knocked over
When the smoke clears danny and jazz are gone...
.
.
.
Danny amd jazz were being held hostage by some loon called the joker
Now its bad because jazz needs to focus all her attention on keeping danny calm, he's outside in haunt without any protection, his parents are gone, he cant use his powers without outing himself again and theres a FUCKING CLOWN 3 FEET FROM HIM MONOLOGING TO A FURRIE
He's this close to loosing it and (probably) turning this clown into sidewalk chalk
The clown kept talking to the furrie but they weren't paying attention, after a certain point the clown aimed his gun at danny head...
And thats when the fenton-family-car ran through the wall, maddie took one look at the situation and started beating the everliving shit out of anyone who got in the way of her and her babys... after 5 minues all the goons were making a path for her and the other hostages are scared of this woman
Jack on the other hand saw the position danny was in, had flashbacks to danny amd freakshow, and promptly went insane
He shoved batman, tackeled the joker, breaking the arm holding the gun in the processes, and proceded to(with his bare hands) remove all of the jokers teeth, he them puller out a fenton-net, strung him up like a fish and handed the netted-joker to batman with the instruction "watch him"
Half an hour later nightwing and batman are talking to the fentons, jack and maddie each cheaking for injuries on jazz and danny
Nightwing is the one to ask
:why did you do so much to the joker? Why didnt you just disarm him?
:huh, OH, y'see my youngest danny-O over there, had some...bad experiences with clowns that left some lasting trauma...and well, no one scares my children
Nightwing gave a pointed look at batman, and prepared to show the recordings to jason

Ghost Blood
Bad things happen to good people
------------------------------------
The Justice League and the Justice League Dark had met to discuss something extremely important and confidential: the end of the world.
While this was something they faced on a weekly basis, this time it was different. It had started when the chaos lords found an ancient ritual to gain power, and multiple villains joined them to complete the requirements. Klarion, who had noticed that the spell was going to end the world sooner or later, informed the heroes.
The problem was that the spell was already underway, and it was a process that could not be stopped. They had a couple of hours left before all the known horrors in the universe would take an interest in Earth.
The Justice League Dark was overworked, all of them looked extremely exhausted. Even Deadman offered to help but there was little he could do. As they discussed how to proceed, Constantine grabbed an old spell book he was leafing through and angrily threw it to the ground, catching everyone's attention.
"Bloody hell" the Brit glared at the ground angrily "so fucking close".
His companions asked him what was going on, to which Constantine informed them that there was a solution to their current problem. Some sort of powerful cancelation spell that would solve their problems. He saw their hopeful faces and sighed, he supposed he should break their hopes sooner than later.
"We can't use it" the Hellbazer said wearily.
"Why not?" Wonder Woman looked at him frustrated "if it's the only option, surely we can-"
"We can't use it because one of the ingredients doesn't exist!" Constantine blurted out, furious. He had analyzed all the options and that was the only one that might work, but the essential ingredient was missing.
"The spell requires ghost blood" John commented after calming down, desperation could be heard in his voice "but ghosts don't have blood, their blood is ectoplasm, it's impossible!"
Deadman had suddenly gone silent.
"There would have to be a hybrid or something but clearly they don't exist, it's too unlikely."
The League, which had previously perked up at the possible solution, sank back in disappointment. Zatanna, however, noticed the ghost's reaction and watched him curiously.
"...What if it's possible?" Deadman's voice was heard in the silence. Constantine had made him visible to the others during the investigation but the ghost was not used to the attention.
"It's not, it's not possible to combine life and death, the balance would have been broken one way or another" Constantine denied.
"John, what if it's possible?" Deadman repeated "what if a hybrid exists?"
What if the hybrid is the balance?
"Are you saying what I think you're saying?" Constantine observed his friend. Ghost blood was a myth, mentioned in many books but never used.
"Don't get too excited" the ghost warned "there is a hybrid with that kind of blood but he's not-, he doesn't trust humans anymore, for a very good reason."
"However, he does exist" Wonder Woman said in disbelief "can you tell us more?"
Deadman looked around at the nearly destroyed dimension and begged the Ancients for forgiveness for what he was about to do.
"He was born by the Realms and for the Realms, he's a good boy" Deadman sighed, revealing the secret he was never supposed to mention "but as you well know, bad things happen to good people."
The ghost thought of the communique that had reached all the ghosts. On how the Ancients had taken in a child, how they had demanded that he needed to be left alone.
"It's not my place to say what happened" and he didn't have many details either, though gossip traveled fast "but he doesn't trust anyone beyond his guardians, he hates adults and he's scared of needles and other medical instruments, I don't think he'll be much help."
"We have to try, there's not much time left" Batman frowned. Something inside him stirred at the mention of an injured child "Can you tell us where he is?"
"The Infinite Realms" Constantine replied instantly, lighting a cigarette, his hands were shaking "But who are his guardians?"
"The Ancients" Deadman replied "and if you want their help, you really must come up with a plan."
It was obvious that only the Justice League Dark had understood the implications of all this, they were pale and looked scared. Even Dr. Fate and Marvel looked like the end of the world had been confirmed.
"I can take you there" the ghost said, nostalgic at the thought of visiting the dimension "time doesn't work the same there, so you won't spend much time even if it takes weeks to get close, but you can't all go, you'll scare him off"
"We'll go" Captain Marvel spoke up, overcoming his fear "if it's the only option, we'll go."
Little did they know that from the Infinite Realms the Master of Time was watching them with a raised eyebrow. The Ancient shook his head, knowing he should prepare for visitors before heading to the couch next to his screens. Danny was reclining there, sipping hot chocolate and bundled up in one of his cloaks.
The halfa greeted him looking relaxed but Clockwork wouldn't be fooled by that (he could still see the boy, his boy, with his chest wounded, crying for help), he reached over to stroke his protégé's hair affectionately, thinking of ways to get rid of his visitors. While Danny was likely to want to help, he couldn't care less about what happened to that dimension.

Prompt Idea: Danny has plot armor.
To start off, Danny’s whole family knows he’s Phantom, and they had to run from Amity because of the GIW. They wind up in Gotham because that’s the one place that The Government doesn’t really mess with.
The reason behind Danny’s plot armor is that in this world, Danny became incredibly overprotective of his friends and family in order to make sure he doesn’t wind up as Dan, ironically making the chance of that happening much greater than before.
In order to prevent this, Clockwork gives Danny and his family a blessing. It works like this.
Imagine you rolled a dice. To Clockwork, there are now 6+ possible alternate timelines that can ensue. Clockwork’s blessing allows those possible timelines to be restricted to only one or two, all of them good for the Fenton family.
In effect, it was like plot armor. Scarecrow attacks a library with Jazz inside? Oh, looks like her parents need her to pick up Danny early, or she drank too much water and needs to go to the bathroom, which just so happens to have a window just in reach that she can escape from.
Maddy needs to get a job? Well, Jazz’s university needs a new chemistry professor (last one was kidnapped by a rogue) and they’re in a bit of a rush so they’ll skip looking for a teaching certificate. No one cares anyways, it’s Gotham.
Jack needs something to do? Well, besides hunting ghosts, he’d always wanted to open a food truck! With Jazzy making sure nothings contaminated and some (slightly modified) recipes from the Ghost Zone, he can finally chase his dream in a big city with his Phantom Food Vehicle! He wonders what some of those shady men came up to him for, or that odd stout fella in the tux.
(The Phantom Food Truck has become a recent cryptid in Gotham. Except it’s not a cryptid, because everyone’s seen the video of the truck hurtling down the street like it’s chasing down the devil, cop cars and vigilantes alike on its tail. And yet, no one could find it. Not even the Bats. That’s about when everyone gave up. When they learned that you don’t find it, the Phantom Food Truck finds you.)
As for Danny? He’s entirely unaware of this, to focused on keeping his head down. It works, for a while. Before fate came knocking in the form of a wicked smile, as if there solely to ruin his day.
The Joker wasn’t having a good day either. He started out having a jolly old time, joker toxin gassing a small high school, making sure to leave macabre presents for his dear Batsy, and then what happens? This random kid just starts running around, helping students, saving teachers, what’s he gonna do next huh? Save a cat from a tree?
What’s worse, his useless henchmen couldn’t even land a hit on the kid! He swears, Bill doesn’t even seem to be trying.
Whatever, they managed to corner the brat, looked like he was standing in front of some other children. So Joker lines the shot, and he fires.
The gun jams.
Alrighty, he takes one from a random mook, and he shoots again.
The gun jams.
No one’s moving at this point. Where there was once dread and tension in the air, there’s just confusion. So Joker points the gun at a goon, pulls the trigger, the shot goes off.
He turns back to the Robin-ish looking twink, and he pulls the trigger.
The gun jams.
And as he starts walking towards the kid to just kill it himself, he wakes up in the Arkham hospital wing with his last memory of the encounter being him slipping on the glowing green contents of some weird looking thermos that the kid had thrown earlier in the fight. What the FUCK was that.
Clockwork doesn’t even care how pissed the Observers are any more, this is hilarious.
it's to the point of ridiculousness that the Bats have an entire file on Danny and they think he's a meta with a luck ability and nothing else.

Hey so this is kinda inspired by @virgamsysxvolumes lucky rush au but it's more my own twist on the bioshock inspiration. Actual prompt / idea below the cut
Ok so this would be a good parents au where Danny revealed himself to his parents shortly after the series (excluding phantom planet) and they were super supportive and asked for his help in learning more about ghosts. He also managed to track down Dani and brought her back to Amity only to learn that the ecto dejecto was only a quick fix. Eventually with Frostbites help they cure Dani but the only way is to essentially turn her into her core and let her form a new body in a special pod only she would be a baby. Now at first Jack and Maddie were going to fake a pregnancy and pretend she was Danny's and Jazz's sister however she and Danny bonded while they were looking for a cure and she accidentally called him Daddy. Danny was smitten and decided he would not pretend to be her brother and would be her dad.
The fentons pass it off as an invention gone weird that basically made a baby from Danny with no mother and Amity just shrugs at the Fenton weirdness and accept baby Dawn (She asked Danny to give her a new name before she was turned to a baby and I think that would be a cute name Danny would come up with.) Now 4 years later Danny is 19 or 20 and Dawn is 4 years old and Danny had been studying inventing like his parents and medicine from Frostbite. At Dawn's most recent check up Frostbite gave Danny one as well only to discover that Danny has been absorbing more ecto-energy than his core can handle because he is a primordial in the making (yes this is master of space Danny). So the solution to this is two-fold he has to move to another dimension with less ecto-energy and he has to where a special suit in his ghost form that frostbite and his parents made together. Which is this.
Tumblr media
Just without the drill and maybe a little more astronaut themed.
So eventually they pack up Danny and Dawn and find a new dimension with a city where they can live without people asking too many questions. Gotham city. With the number of vigilantes already there Danny won't feel obligated to go out and fight and he can finish his degree at Gotham U and start a business making and selling meta specialized medical equipment and other helpful inventions. (But no weapons.)
So Danny and Dawn with their new identities and parents/grandparents, aunts and uncles (blood and honorary) settle in pretty well with Danny and Dawn going out on moonlit walks in Ghost form. Thus the people of Gotham meet Big Daddy and his little starlight.
Now as for who I would ship with Danny I personally love DannyxCass or Dead silent as I think the current ship name for them is.
So maybe she meets the single dad Danny at college or at the park for the first time but they don't really hit it off until Danny signs Dawn up for a ballet class that Cass teaches.
Meanwhile Bruce and the more paranoid Bat's are trying to find out more about this tank like Meta that the public named big daddy (I imagine people heard Dawn calling him Daddy and No one ever asked his name so they start calling him that as a sort of meme) after he beat down a feral ManBat who tried to go after Starlight. (They heard Danny call her that in the suit and ran with it)
Basically we have creepy tank man and his glowing ghostly daughter on one side and sweet Cass and Danny romance with little gremlin Dawn trying to play matchmaker on the other.
Also what I think the other bat's think of Cass new boyfriend.
Dick is full overprotective big brother.
Jason after seeing the way that Danny is trying to help the underprivileged and the fact that they are like something out of a Hallmark movie ships it.
Tim is paranoid about this stranger and is back to his old habits(stalking) to find answers.
Steph is full Gung ho wing women she will be Cass bridesmaid God dammit.
Damien starts off hostile thinking there is no way he's good enough for his favorite sister until he meets Dawn and suddenly he is declaring that Cass needs to hurry up and marry him or else he will because he will have that adorable little girl in his family no matter what.
Duke is wary at first because he hadn't ever seen someone who glows as bright as Danny and Dawn but the more time he spends with them the more he realizes that the bright glow is a safe and protective aura and that it reaches out and covers everyone Danny cares about. (Danny has a ghostly aura he subconsciously covers people he cares about with that let's him react to danger faster)
Alfred is already planning out weddings and birthdays. He always expected Dick to be the first one to give him Great grand babies but he's not complaining.
Bruce much like Dick is full over protective dad maybe he even borrows one of Alfred's guns to try to intimidate Danny.
Barbara who is both a big sister figure and a almost mother like figure to Cass is absolutely delighted. (It doesn't hurt that Danny made a set of leg braces that can read nerves to allow her to walk naturally again without needing surgery)
Selina adores the two and thinks they make a cute couple.
Also I think it would be funny if after all of Bruce, Dicks, and Tim's paranoia Danny just strait up tells them that he is from another dimension and even offers to let them tag along on the next visit to his parents so they can do a proper background check (which freaks them out because they hadn't told him they were doing that. At least until while they are discussing it and if that was evidence that Danny is more than he appears Cass says she told him that they were doing a background check on him. Not that Danny didn't already know but it helps the suspicion.)
But yeah part neutral Meta and park Hallmark romance.
Also maybe a side plot of Jazz coming to this dimension and maybe she has a relationship with Supergirl because I haven't seen that before.

Poor Barman Part 4
~ Runs In The Family ~
~and the Ghost town~
Bartender picks syrups for cocktails.
Danny*appears behind him without sound*: Hello.again.
Barman: Boy, a couple more meetings and I'll think you're my stalker.
Danny: Nothing like that. My parents think that I rarely go out so they dragged me to the supermarket.
Maddie: Danny, where are you? Hello, sir.
~~~
Maddie: Yes, our boy is so shy. In his hometown he always runs away before being attacked by ghosts. Jack and I were so sure that in a new city with high crime Danny would be even more stressed. There are so many dangerous people here.
Barman’s gaze shifts to the innocently blinking boy standing behind. Danny draws a halo above his head by using strange green energy.
Bartender: Really, Mrs.? tell me more
*remembers yesterday when this “quiet as the mouse grave” boy tried to get into Killer Croc's mouth to inspect his fangs and almost made him write a letter of resignation*
~ and a chip off the old block~
Next night
Bartender: In conclusion, your immensely loving overprotective parents are unaware that you not only got into in a bad company but also rule it.
Danny: Hey, what management are you talking about. At school they don't even trust me to be a DJ.
Boy brings marshmallows on a stick to one of the Red Hood's thugs who immediately pulls out a lighter
Danny: I just love making new friends :D
Danny: Besides, overprotective doesn’t sound very respectful. Don’t say that in front of them. My mom’s name made of "mad" and "die" parts for a reason. She could break Two-face's spine as a light workout.
Barman: I believe in it.
~ and the last brain cell of the Fenton family ~
Danny *shows the Bartender a photo*: This is my sister Jazz. She wants to be a psychologist. She has the best grades in Amity Park!
The bartender*is happy that there is at least someone adequate in the boy's family*.
Danny: Tomorrow she will come here without me to discuss some publications with Dr. Quinzel. Don't give her any trouble.
Barman: I was wrong
Danny: What?
~~~
Danny: And so, guys, why are you were bad boys?
The holding cells at the Gotham Police Station.
All criminals are sitting in the opposite corner from the 14-year-old boy.
Police officer: You're listed as an emergency contact for him.
Jazz: And what did he do this time?
Police officer: He placed Mr. Freeze in a strange non-melting ice. Persuade him to releave the villain and Commissioner Gordon will let your brother out. We cannot offer an interrogation. It's a waste of time.
Jazz: Mr.Barman, hello, what are you doing here?
Barman: One of our bouncers sent someone to the hospital so the Boss sent me to pay his bail for him.
Jazz: I see. More importantly, Danny, come here. now. You’re in big trouble, little brother.
Danny *walks through the wall and throws handcuffs on the officer’s desk*.
Barman: You know what, I’ll come back later. I just remembered I left the iron on in the bar. Have a good day.
Danny: See you soon.
Barman: I hope not.

there is a sufficient evidence supporting that maddie and fenton are more often than not, good parents. like ive been going on a dp rewatch (although im skipping episodes im not too interested in) and even without the episodes focusing on relationships between their parents and kids (maternal instincts, one million dollar ghost, etc).
like theres little scenes like when jazz calls down the parents in my brother’s keeper maddie is very quick to go ‘is there something with danny? do you need to talk about something?’ theres jack going to bat for danny when he thought he was in danger in girls night out. they were overprotective about jazz in the episode 13. the entire episode reality trip for the reveal nerds. even like the episode with the strongest evidence that theyre neglectful (fright before christmas) maddie rushes out to get danny when the trees attack. hell even in the one episode where danny nearly got absolutely blasted/vivesevted by maddie in masters of all time he still got through to her that he’s her son even when he has the most flimsy evidence being a family photo. like she was remarkably easy to convince that danny was her alternate universe son she had with jack who she at the time believed wanted nothing to do with her. seriously if he can convince her that then I’m sure he can prove he’s half ghost to her with enough backing.
anyways the fentons are pretty good parents and i will die on this hill

More misunderstandings from the outsiders’ povs:
After Maddie finds out about Vlad having a crush on her, she overhears Phantom arguing with Vlad about Vlad trying to kill his dad to get to his mom, assumes that Vlad must’ve been the one to kill Phantom and his family, worries that Vlad is clearly a serial killer who murders the families of the women he obsesses over and thinks her family must be next
(This becomes an even greater worry when she meets Dani, and since those other two ghosts share a name with her Danny, he must be killing stand ins for her family and he must’ve been planning their murders since Danny’s birth at the earliest)
Paulina meets Dani and decides that she must be related to Phantom and the best way to his heart his to befriend his sister, especially since it’s clear that Phantom loves her a lot and is so overprotective over her (he’s trying to keep the two of them apart so Paulina doesn’t find out his identity, Dani thinks the whole thing is hilarious)
Jack also puts the similar names of the ghosts together, decides that it must be Plasmius’ fault and if there’s some serial killer going after Danny’s and possibly their loved ones then he must keep Vlad near him so he can keep all of his loved ones safe (Maddie is stressed by this development)
The ghosts have no idea about Vlad’s cloning and so they also have no idea what the fuck is up with Dani, they keep hoping the ghost boy will clear things up but he never directly addresses it and everything they manage to overhear is even more confusing
Talks about Phantom being a relatively “new” ghost and there might be a serial killer on the loose has the whole city abuzz and each person has a new idea on who it might be, a majority of the students at Casper High are claiming it must be the teachers so they can have the excuse of not feeling safe so they can skip class (some genuinely believe it and it’s causing problems)

Father-Son Bonding (2)
With Maddie and Jazz off attending a women in STEM conference over the weekend, Jack decides to take Danny out for the best father-son bonding activity there is—ghost hunting! They're going to catch that elusive Danny Phantom or die trying! Metaphorically, of course. Jack would never let his son die hunting ghosts, or at least... that's what he thinks.
Written for the prompts:
Jack and Danny spend quality time together hunting that damn ghost boy! Danny is being such a help! Bonus points for if they're both enjoying the endeavor. [from @pricklenettle], Jack Fenton finds out. [from @underforeversgrace], and Jack is excited to hunt ghosts alongside his ghost-powered son, and Danny is enjoying the time with his dad way more than he thought he would. Maddie, however, is deeply troubled by all the ways her son could get hurt, and her overprotectiveness causes a heaviness to fall over the Fenton family home. [from @astatia-ghast]

Chapter 2: Jack Fenton Doesn't Know What's Waiting (Ch.1; Ch.3)
[Warning for minor violence]
In ghost form, Danny dove into the green-tinged water. Just as he'd expected, the Fenton Foam made it sting like hell against his skin, and especially in his eyes, but he couldn't afford to close them. He swam right to the bottom, where Mariner was holding his father under, and pried them apart, inadvertently kicking his dad in the stomach in order to get the leverage he needed.
"You think you can beat me in my own territory?" Mariner roared, their voice not the slightest bit muffled, despite the terrain. "The water strengthens me!"
"Not this water!" Danny refuted, although his voice did not carry like Mariner's did, so it sounded more like, "Glug glib globob!"
The one-liner didn't really matter though as Danny whipped out his Fenton thermos and sucked Mariner into it. Despite Mariner's claims, Danny had been right about the water weakening them. Fenton Foam was really no joke, and it made Danny wonder why his parents didn't use it more often. He didn't have time to wonder now, though.
He clipped the thermos to his belt and grabbed his father's limp body, hauling him out of the deep-end with all his ghostly strength.
Dad didn't move one he was out of the pool.
Danny didn't know what to do. He didn't know CPR or anything, so what could he do? Come on! He had ghost powers! If they couldn't even save his dad, what good were they?
Water!
If Danny could use intangibility to get the water out of Dad's lungs, maybe he'd be okay. He put his hands against his dad's chest and prayed to any god or ghost who might be out there that the foam in the water wouldn't resist intangibility. Someone must have been listening.
An instantly later, Dad's eyes snapped open, and he was coughing and spluttering and shouting, "Ghost!"
"Ghost! Ghost boy!" Jack shouted.
He barely registered being flat on his back on wet concrete when he jumped up and wrestled the ghost boy into submission, grappling him on the ground. The ghost boy didn't fight back. Perhaps he knew it would be futile. After all, Jack Fenton was not a ghost hunter to sneeze at; just ask his wife.
"Danny!" he called out, excited. "Danny I caught the ghost boy! I caught Danny Phantom!"
His head swiveled around, looking for his son's black hair and white jumpsuit, but he was nowhere to be seen. He called out again, looked harder, but there was no answer, and Danny was gone.
"What have you done to my son, spook!" Jack snarled. "You have one chance to tell me what you did before it tear you apart molecule by molecule, scientific progress be damned. If you hurt my son in any way, I'll pay it back to you a hundred times over."
"Dad... it's me," said the ghost boy, and in a flash of white light, the figure in Jack's arms transformed. "I'm your son."
And there was Danny, soaked to the bone, with ecto-foamer stains on the brand new jumpsuit his father had lovingly sewn for him, and Jack had never been happier or more confused to see him. He released the grapple and let his son stand up and take off his gloves to wring the water out.
"Danny?" Jack asked. "You're... you're the ghost boy? You're Danny Phantom? but how?"
Danny looked around nervously, but Jack already knew that all the water park patrons had gone, and the employees were hiding and cowering.
"The portal," he said. "I'm not contaminated with ectoplasm, it... changed me." He swallowed visibly and looked up at Jack with fear in his eyes. "Are you mad?"
Jack stepped forward and his breath hitched when he saw the way his son flinched back at the movement.
"No, Danny," he said, and he strode forward again and wrapped his boy up in a big bear hug. "How could I be mat at you for something like that? That's not your fault! If anything it's... it's mine."
He realized as he said it how true it was. It was his carelessness that caused the portal to activate when Danny went inside it. He should have disconnected the power. He should have put caution tape over the opening, or closed the doors. He shouldn't have been letting his son down into the lab when there was an experiment that big in progress at all. All the guilt that had plagued him since the accident first happened was suddenly coming back tenfold. He felt like he was drowning for the second time today.
"Oh Danny, it's all my fault," Jack insisted. "If I were less careless, if I were a better engineer, this wouldn't have happened to you.
"No, it's not your fault. I should have known better than to mess around with your experiments. It was just an accident. And in the end, it gave me the power to save you from being drowned by that ghost today, so I don't regret anything."
"Are you okay? That ghost didn't hurt you, did it?"
"Dad, I'm fine," Danny said. "The foam in the water stung a little, but I'm really okay."
"The foam... but you're still covered in it!"
"It's okay, Dad, really! It kinda just feels like licking a D battery, but all over my body."
"That's not—Danny, no," Jack said, shaking his head. "This place has showers, go take one and wash that gunk off. There are spare jumpsuits in the car; I'll bring you one."
Danny nodded, and turned to go to the locker room.
"Oh, and one more thing," Jack said, causing him to pause. "I'm sorry for... grappling you, and threatening you.... If I had known it was you, I never would have done that."
"It's okay, Dad." Danny smiled at him. "It was actually kinda nice hearing the lengths you'd go to protect me. Although... it would have been nicer if you didn't say those things to Phantom all the time."
"Well, I'm sorry for that, too," Jack added.
"I forgive you," Danny said firmly, like he was trying to end this conversation. The way he shifted uncomfortably seemed to corroborate that theory. "I'm gonna go take that shower now, 'cause this stuff is starting to itch."
"Right! You go do that."
After washing off the slowly crusting foamy water, Danny changed into a regular, non-Fenton-Fabric jumpsuit, and he and Jack walked back to the GAV. The ghost proximity alarm in the vehicle blared when Danny got within three feet.
"Sorry!" Jack shouted over it, hitting the button on the key fob that turned it off. "Sorry, I forgot about that."
Danny just snorted a laugh and climbed into the passenger seat. They were both silent as they buckled up, and Jack turned the key in the ignition so they could leave.
Finally, Jack cleared his throat. "I guess the ghost hunt today is a bust."
He glanced over to see Danny's lips quirk up in a small smile. "I don't know about that. Maybe we didn't hunt down Danny Phantom like we planned, but you are technically taking him home with you. Plus," — he waved his Fenton Thermos between them — "We did manage to bag that Mariner spook, and they were pretty powerful, so all-in-all, I'd actually say we can call today's ghost hunt a success."
"You know what? You're absolutely right!" Jack agreed. "I wasn't thinking about it that way, but this was a complete success! We are the greatest ghost hunters in the world!" he bellowed. "Now you say it, nice and loud."
"We are the greatest ghost hunters in the world!" Danny shouted, laughter coloring his every word.
Yeah... today was definitely a success.
Jack didn't let the fact that it would probably be the last sour the experience for him. He didn't even bring it up until they were home, putting their gear away.
"Too bad this is the last time we'll go ghost hunting together," Jack said sadly, while he field-stripped the ecto-guns to clean them.
Danny stopped cleaning the water out of his wrist ray, cotton swap frozen an inch away from it. "What? Why?"
"Well... I just thought that you wouldn't want to anymore, since you're kind of a ghost yourself," Jack said. "Obviously we don't know as much about ghosts as we thought we did, if you can be one and still be... you are still human, aren't you?"
"Yeah, but... that doesn't mean we have to stop hunting ghosts all together," Danny said, sounding a little downtrodden at the prospect. In fact, he sounded like he felt quite the same as Jack did about the two of them not hunting ghosts together anymore. "I mean, I hunt ghosts all the time when I go out as Danny Phantom, that's like, the main thing I use my powers for, actually."
"Really? Why?"
"Well I can't just let them go around town causing chaos, can I?" Danny pointed out. "They may not be like, evil, but they can't die, and they don't tend to think about the consequences of their actions, so they cause trouble, sometimes even when they're not trying to, and someone's gotta stop them."
"So... you just go out and hunt ghosts on your own? What do you do with them?"
"I guess... catch and release?" Danny said. "I catch them in the Fenton Thermos and then release them into the Ghost Zone where they can't hurt anyone. They'll come back sometimes, but I just catch 'em again."
For a long moment, Jack just stared at his son, watched as the boy's shoulders slowly shrunk down with anxiety as he waited for Jack to say something.
Then he started to laugh, a deep, powerful laugh, that echoed against all the steel and concrete in the lab.
"My son's a ghost hunter!" he crowed and he got up and lifted his son in another bear hug, swinging him around like a rag doll in joy. "Oh, Danny-boy, I'm so proud of you! Tomorrow we're gonna go ghost hunting again, and we're gonna catch tons of ghosts and send 'em back to the Ghost Zone! The Fenton boys won't stop that easy!"
Danny laughed with him, much higher pitched, but just as giddy. "We're the greatest ghost hunters in the world!" he cheered, and Jack repeated the declaration at the top of his lungs.
They did, eventually, get back to cleaning and putting away all their equipment. Jack washed Danny's new jumpsuit so he could wear it again tomorrow, they went out to get celebratory hamburgers for dinner this time, a happy change from their usual self-pity hamburgers they got after ghost hunting trips. It was the same hamburger, but it tasted like victory!
Then they both went to bed, and Jack could barely sleep a wink in his excitement for tomorrow.
That morning, both father and son were up bright and early, dressed in their Fenton Works Jumpsuits, and once again loading up the GAV with weapons and ghost hunting equipment. Soon enough, they were rocketing out of the garage in a screech of tires and a cloud of dust, chowing down on beef jerky and fudge for breakfast.
"Are you ready to hunt some ghosts?" Jack asked his son.
Danny grinned and transformed in a flash of light. "You bet I am!"
Thank goodness he'd reminded his father not to turn of the ghost proximity alarm or the internal automatic defense systems in the GAV, otherwise that little maneuver wouldn't have gone over as well.
They weren't hunting any ghost in particular, unlike yesterday, but there were always miscellaneous ghosts around Amity Park just waiting to be captured and sent home.
"Spectral Sub-sonar is picking up ghost activity downtown... looks like the mall," Danny said, and he gripped the safety handle tightly as the vehicle banked left to head downtown.
"I don't see any running and screaming," Jack observed when they got there. Through the glass doors at the front of the mall everything looked calm. "Do you think they're overshadowed?"
"Maybe," Danny said. "Or maybe the ghost isn't inside the mall."
Jack looked down at the sub-sonar screen in the dashboard. "Looks like the ghost is around back."
"I'll fly ahead and see what I can see inside," Danny suggested. "You drive a lap around the mall?"
"Good thinking," Jack said. "Don't forget to put on your Fenton-phones."
Danny nodded and did so, "Check," before phasing through the roof of the GAV to look for ghostly activity in the mall, turning invisible before he went inside.
"See anything?" Jack asked through the Fenton-phones.
"Not yet," Danny replied. "I'm pretty sure these people aren't overshadowed, though. I can't sense any ghosts in here, and they're acting way too naturally for it to be ghosts pretending to be shoppers. I'm heading to the far end now."
"Copy that, Dann-o. I'm on the far side now and so far—wait..." there was something going on just ahead, and Jack pulled the GAV to a hard stop. He could see that eerie glow that always accompanied ghosts wherever they went, and floating boxes. "I see the bogey! East loading dock!"
"On my way!"
Jack grabbed the Jack-o-Nine-Tails to subdue the ghost and got out of the GAV. He walked toward the loading dock with purpose, and by the time he arrived there, Danny flew through the wall to fight with him. They were close enough to see the ghost now, a familiar one at that.
"Beware!" The ghost shouted. "I am the Box Ghost! I am the master of all things cardboard and square! You do not stand a chance against my corrugated destruction! Nor the various stock and wares of..." he looked at the packing labels on the boxes he was floating around. "The GAP!"
Jack made to whip the ghost with his Jack-o-Nine-Tails, but the ghost just threw a slew of cardboard boxes, blocking each of the tendrils. It made for a good distraction, though, and Danny was able to hit the spook with one of his... what at he called it? One of his ghost rays, stunning the ghost.
"Dad, Fenton Thermos!" Danny called out, and shot a continuous beam at the Box Ghost.
Jack fumbled a bit getting the thermos into his hands, but Danny held on plenty long enough for his father to take aim and capture the ghost inside it.
"Got him!" Jack announced, capping the thermos proudly.
The two of them returned to the GAV where they high-fived each other for a job well done and tore out of the mall parking lot before anyone could blame them for the damage the Box Ghost had done.
"You know, Danny-boy, we make a pretty fantastic team," Jack observed, "whether you're a human or a ghost. A spectacular father-son duo!"
Danny chuckled. "Yeah... you know, actually, I was terrified about what would happen when I told you I was Phantom. Even though I knew you would love me no matter what, I was still scared that you would treat me differently afterwards. But, actually, I'm enjoying this way more than I thought I would."
"Oh, Danny," was Jack's sympathetic reply. "Well, you know what? I'm enjoying working with the ghost boy a lot more than I thought I would, too. So let's just enjoy this together!"
"Yeah!"
"After all, we're the greatest ghost hunters in the world!"
Danny laughed heartily and repeated the phrase.
"We're the greatest ghost hunters in the world!"
After that, the two of them kept on driving around, searching for ghosts. Luckily, there wasn't a lot of traffic for some reason, so Jack had plenty of room on the roads. Most of the day was pretty quiet, but they did manage to catch a pair of ectopusses before they decided to call it for the day and head home.
Danny changed back into his human form so they could drive thru at Nasty Burger on their way back, and the two boys were in excellent spirits as they turned onto their street.
At least, they were until they saw who was standing there, on their front porch, glaring furiously.
It seemed Jazz and Maddie had come home early. And Maddie did not seem too pleased to find her husband and sun driving home in a fully armed and activated Ghost Assault Vehicle.

Danny Phantom
There's not much change in name, but I intend to use what the fandom come up for his middle name (at least I think that's what the fandom agreed on? I might be wrong).
Daniel James Fenton.
Daniel, his actual full first name.
James, is what I remembered the name the fandom agreed upon, or at least some of it.
Fenton, his family name. There's nothing for me to explain about.
Also, a friend pointed out that I have a habit of giving things dramatic names (I'd say the influence of Genshin is strong af-). I do have a habit of making something to be more extreme than it was when it was originally made, so please don't mind it.
Relationships:
Maddie and Jack:
They're still the goofy and quirky parents Danny and Jazz had, but was smarter compared to the original. Knew Danny turned into ghost and the portal incident, more like they were also witnesses of that said incident. The sound of his scream of agony and pain manage to pull out nightmares for the both of them on several nights. However, that doesn't waver their love for their son. Sure, he may become half of the being they're hunting down for the sake of studies or something, but that doesn't erase the fact that this ghost child is their child, their little baby who unfortunately fell into the abyss of their own mistakes and neglect. They assists Team Phantom many times when it comes to the supply and whatever knowledge they have currently and are still expanding beyond their current understanding for the sake of learning to find a solution that wouldn't harm either side of the plane.
Jazz:
Nothing much different compared to the canon, except she was also a witness to the incident. Her overprotectiveness tenfold, much to Danny's dismay, and it took a lot of time for them to find a common ground and for her to tone down. There's nothing much different in this version compared to the original.
Sam, Tucker:
Danny's friends since elementary. Their relationship is pretty much the same as they are in canon, but what's different is that Danny and Sam doesn't harbor feelings for one another (I apologize for those who ship Amethyst Ocean), and therefore they aren't in any other relationship other than best friends.
Valerie:
Danny's relationship with Valerie is very contradictive compared to their relationship in canon. First and foremost; Valerie listens to people more than just act out and shutting her ears out, yes she sometimes act out first questions later, but she had made pretty good judgements and know that nothing good happens when jumping to conclusions too quickly and taking everything at face value without knowing the full story. She and Danny became friends during freshman year of middle school, and although Valerie still somewhat in the 'popular' clique in their school, she'd prefer to spend time with the Team Phantom any time. She could be considered the hub of all gossips at school with how much information she gets from the most loud and chatty clique of the whole school.
Dani/Elly, Dan/Ozzy:
Dani: The first ever semi-success clone of Danny made by Vlad. Nothing really is different in their relationship, until Dani was in the most critical condition that had something to do with her unstable ectoplasm, which required her to have to be revert to a some sort of fetus and undergo a process similar to normal human pregnancy, but instead of putting the halfa fetus into Danny, it was put inside of a bottle first before a birthing pod when the halfa child became more mature and resembles a newborn. In turn, she'll be reborn back as purely Danny's child (think about Ben who asexually reproduced, but went through a completely different process) without any of her past memories in place. The art and technology of doing this process remains undisclosed. Her new identity became Eleanor Maria Fenton with the nickname "Elly", and she became the ghost princess by right of birth after her "rebirth".
Dan: Their relationship remains the same until Danny decided to properly take care of Dan (before the de-aging). Think of it like a Nahida-Scaramouche/Wanderer relationship. Although it was a painfully grueling process, Danny was patient and really think about Dan and his freedom and his disoriented characteristics at heart and tried to the best of his abilities to help Dan out through it all. However, it turns out the ectoplasm from Vlad's half in Dan was found out to have a corruption, making Dan going through an excruciating pain and suffering. In order to cleanse the corruption entirely, Dan have to go through the same process as Dani, reverting him back to that of a fetus, born now as a halfa, and restart everything from scratch. His new identity became Kalos Marcus Fenton with the nickname "Ozzy", becoming the ghost prince by right of birth after his "rebirth". He and Elly had became twins in this current life.
Cujo:
The ghost dog that Danny found outside the building of Axion Labs (no, he didn't went in and wreck the place, because I'm twisting some things in Shades of Gray because Valerie is part of Team Phantom from the start). The dog looked lost, confused, as if it doesn't know what to do, so Danny decided to take the dog in and brought him home. After a while, he realized the tag on the dog's collar, and figured that this dog at some point was a staff at Axion Labs or maybe someone related to someone who works at the lab, and decided to check what's the deal with the dog and the lab. Danny later found out that the ghost dog, along with other dogs before (he didn't know if the other staff dogs are also dead, but he'll have to check it up later) are used to be guards dogs decades ago, but they were let down when technology became more efficient. The dog canals, food bowls, and other stuff are being put in an abandoned storage space that was completely sealed off. But a single toy stood out to him, a squeaky toy. Since this is the only toy in the whole room, Danny assumed this might've belonged to the ghost dog he found, so he decided to go back home and hoping this is the item that the dog was looking for to the point of waiting outside the walls of the lab for, which thankfully it was. However, instead of going back to the Ghost Zone, the dog decided to stay, and Danny became his owner after asking Maddie and Jack (to which both agreed). Cujo became his name.
Vlad:
Good god, where do I even begin... Ok, I guess I should start that their relationship is a lot worse than in canon. Yes, he still had that hatred towards Jack, but he also hated Maddie as the miniature portal was also her creation as it is to Jack's. By extent, he hated both of their kids too (unreasonable? Yes, but anything goes for me-), but particularly Danny due to his status as a halfa and the many connection he had between the living plane and the Ghost Zone. Dani's creation wasn't because he wanted a perfect son, it was an attempt to use the clones as an army to attack Danny. Dan's creation was literally a succeeded version of Vlad's plan. Vlad figured that the only way to really hurt Maddie and Jack, was to hurt their beloved youngest, the more pain the better he said. Vlad was so deep into his hatred towards the Fentons, morality was completely out the window and down the drain for him. Every attempt was another way for him to destroy the Fentons of what they did to him, he wasn't willing to talk whatsoever, even an attempt would've been futile instead. Due to me completely erasing Phantom Planet from existence, Vlad was still roaming free under the facade of a good natured mayor while scheming to get rid of the Fentons by any means necessary. His ectoplasm became corrupted due to many times it was used to experiment dangerous creations and many mysterious methods. However, Vlad could withstand it due to his overflowing amount of sheer hatred, while Dan couldn't handle the corruption due to having Danny's DNA.
Manny:
A fellow member of the Nicktoons Team. Manny (alongside Jenny) joined much later. They started out as acquaintances then friends, then after a while, they both started a relationship. Manny's life became even more interesting by the time the twins came to the picture, and Manny wouldn't want it any other way. He's a great babysitter (any maybe even parent, someday).
Jimmy, Timmy:
Danny considered both of them as his troublesome younger brothers, particularly Timmy. It all happened because the Turners asked the Fentons if it's ok for them to leave Timmy under the Fentons for a while, and that's how Danny's babysitting career started (do not ask for details. If you know what the Turners are like, that should speak volumes enough). Danny met Jimmy a little later afterwards after seeing a lonely kid on the bench of the courtyard of Timmy's school, so he decided to approach him, and that's how they get to know each other. Danny was a bit protective towards Jimmy due to how many times he's been bullied and being treated as an outcast because of his high IQ, so Jimmy found a safe haven in Danny. Although Danny said he's more of their babysitter than anything, Danny turned out to be that of a parental figure of the team; slightly strict but responsible and gave out reasonable rules so no one gets into unwanted troubles even outside missions. Both Jimmy and Timmy viewed Danny is that of the 3rd parental figure who kept them grounded and the voice of reason and motivation for them. Although he is still capable of grounding them, like confiscating Timmy's video games and locking Jimmy's lab while taking the key with him. Jenny said it was a given considering many times those two caused trouble.
SpongeBob:
Danny's best buddy in the team. SB had always been the motivational one of the whole team and kept everyone in spirits. Literally the closet person he had in the team way before Manny and Jenny. Supports Danny through thick and thin, and was the first person Danny ever confided with whenever he had problems and vice versa.
Jenny:
Was the only person (robot?) Danny recognized in Center Shades, and the only one Danny talked with for a while until he got to know the other members (particularly Randy and Jake). Danny was Jenny's backup fixer whenever Jimmy is not available and/or wasn't with them altogether, hence the only person Jenny trust in the other team with her mechanisms.
Info Dumps:
I will be dumping a hella load of info in this column, so be warned if you don't want to read everything. I'm not really willing to make a separate blog about this topic itself, so consider it like a Danny speciality that you can't find anywhere except asking Danny himself;
The term 'ghosts' is an umbrella term used for all types of spirits that originates from all the realms of the Infinite Realms (commonly known as the Ghost Zone). Just because they're called ghosts, doesn't necessarily mean they are whatever that's left of a human spirit.
Ghosts aren't inherently bad natured; they're more driven by their obsessions more than anything, and doesn't really meant to cause harm, but their obsessions could clouded their better judgement, making them getting mischaracterized as 'bad natured' and 'pure evil'. They're not bad, they just need something to feed off of their obsessions to find a few specks of peace.
The Ghost Zone is actually named as Infinite Realms, but another name was also proposed when the realm was first discovered; Gap of The Sun. The reason for this naming is that it was once believed that this realm had been created from a sun that once exploded, and instead of turning into a black hole, it turned into a neverending realm filled with doors leading to many other realms. However, the naming and this theory was eventually dropped due to lack of evidence to support the claim of the exploded sun that created this primal realm.
The nature of ectoplasm is currently unknown, but it is theorized to be remnants of a spirit's will and their former drive when they were still alive. But due to the lack of evidence, there is no concrete info that the ectoplasm were remnants of the ghosts leftover living will. It was only left that ectoplasm are just what give these ghosts their shape after their soul no longer resides using a human vessel in the living plane.
There's a phenomenon between the ghosts called a "Death Day", where the ghost will have to relive the memories of their death, the feeling of pain they felt all over again. They would go completely paralyzed and won't be able to move at all as they relive the memories and pain of their death with nowhere to go as they couldn't move. The aftereffects when the day of their Death Day had passed are; extreme numbness, lacking color vision in their sights (everything is in black and white for them), complete blockage of their powers, and whatever that's left in their mood swings of their Death Day. The only way to minimize the pain during Death Day was when the spirit's living loved ones visit their graves or commemorate the death anniversary. Even then, that won't erase the pain entirely, as it won't affect anything in the aftereffects (although this is unclear for those who are born as a halfa).
Danny's ghost king title:
Ok, so I did said that Danny became ghost king in this version, right? Well, in version, Danny became ghost king a little later after the defeat of Pariah Dark. Technically, he was already crowned shortly after, but due to the fact he's biologically and chronologically too young to rule yet, it was decided that Danny have to wait until he was 20 to finally take on the big roles of being the king of ghosts. Until then, he was made to do smaller tasks that seemed a bit big to him at first, but once he became king, the weight was even more immense than what he had initially thought it would.
The Ghost Law:
A law that is absolutely mandatory to follow by all ghosts of every realm and every kind. Here are some examples;
Ghosts are absolutely forbidden to harm those who still resides the living plane by any means.
In terms of handling one's obsessions, it is absolutely advised to ask the Ghost King for any solution that wouldn't involved the living beings.
Killing a living soul or the environment of the living realm will be heavily punished.
In terms of living amongst the alive in the living plane, a barrier must be made around the property to prevent ghost hunters or unwanted guests from lingering the property.
When a soul from the living plane had lost its human vessel and could no longer resides amongst the alive (basically: someone died), it is an absolute must to inform the ghost king in order to conduct the 'White Farewell' ceremony for the now-departed spirit.
Personality:
Not much different, except he radiates mom energy all over. Well, no wonder. Along with Ben, Danny has plenty experience when it comes to hyperactive and/or rowdy kids, and had a huge sense of parental responsibility towards everyone. Both Danny and Ben would be fussing over those who would dive head first into trouble without a clear plan and getting injured in the process, or when someone did something incredibly stupid it ended as a huge problem (they're in the Overview department for a reason).
Danny is more... Elegant compared to the original. There's always an aura of grace coming from him, and sometimes his voice comes off a sort of a mystical vibes, even if he didn't intend to it. Although despite being king, his overall personality didn't change; humble, friendly, and approachable.
Battle attire:
Something like a royal outfit, but nothing extravagant. Ok, maybe adding a bit of claws on his gloves could be a bit extra, but you can't blame me, blame Ningguang-
The hair tho, I have been thinking like a Zhongli-style ponytail in battle form. But in normal form, like human form will varies depending on what Danny wanted. Majority of his hair would already be white even in his human form.
The design I came up with.
(Base: TheCherryMonsterLu (DeviantArt));
Tumblr media
Weapons:
Polearm
Fenton Thermos
Flashdisk
Abilities:
Ghost powers
Ice powers (from his Ice Core)
Ectoplasm generating
Mind reading
Dream-jumping
Other Info:
Obtained the title or nickname as "Siren Voice", due to his mystical and beautiful voice. Think of it as those myths where sailors would disappear when they heard the voice of a mermaid/siren. This'll be hella useful for Danny in so many ways.
Ftm transgender, though he liked being called 'mom' by the twins.
Although he is a Fenton, he does not have the Fenton luck when it comes to driving (neither does Jazz). But he was usually being driven to by his ghostly staff/guards than driving himself. He still have a driver's license though.
Still can't get close to Blood Blossoms, otherwise he'll experience pain as horrible as the time of his 'death'.
Danny's body is sturdy but also hella flexible. He used to do gymnastics when he was younger, but his flexibility was greatly enhanced when he became a halfa.
Danny's eyes changed after the incident, not just when he's a ghost; originally icy blue, now blue on top half, and ecto green on bottom half. His eyes is still fully green when he went ghost.
The 2nd tallest in both at Nicktoons and the other team. Sorta thriving and suffering at the same time (the whole 'shorter people live longer' joke became a bit too literal than it was intended to due to Jake's longevity).
Danny would, quite literally, became a dictionary when someone would ask about ghosts, its nature and laws, etc.
Danny and June are actually pretty close friends due to their shared dreams to be an astronaut (even with their current circumstances).
Danny used to love eating sweets and desserts, but as Sam and Valerie monitored him and limit his consumption of sweet food ever since he had the twins.
Given everyone his protection seal, so ghosts couldn't really harm them, and it'll be much easier dealing with the ghosts like that because they're under the 'territory' of the ghost king himself.
At some point, Danny will start an orphanage for lost young souls who met their fate far too early. Randy might also do the same, but just with living children, and there will also be rescue shelters and such.
Danny's signature flower is Star Lit Orchid.

dog
…okay so i know you were probably hoping for an instance of a dog showing up but so far the best i've got is somebody dog-earing something they're reading lmao. Hope you like turtles and/or ghosts! :D
also i just realized the ask game was just the sentence it was in, not the snippet surrounding it. fuck it yall get a mini-scene with no context lmao
"C'mon, we didn't even get here with a ghost portal, so the Guys In White don't even have any ways of figuring out what was on the other side! It'll be fine, Mom!"
Leo quirked an eyebrow over his comic book at the conversation going on a short ways away.
Maddie was sitting at the folding table with a plateful of Mikey's cooking in front of her ("You folks need to eat something that doesn't fight back, lady!") and a look of parental worry on her face. "Maybe so, but none of us have ever actually been to New York City before, Danny. We don't know our way around, and we don't know the dangers as well as we do the ones at home."
Leo dog-eared the page he was on and set the comic aside, lifting a hand for their attention. "Luckily for you, you've got the coolest, kick-butt-iest guides in town. I was thinking on going on a late-morning pizza run, anyway-" a lie, but one that sounded incredibly appealing now that he thought about it "-and I wouldn't mind Danny coming with and stretching his legs a bit."
Danny lit up, just like Leo had figured he would. With Jazz, Raph, and Mikey off somewhere talking about mental health and healthy communication, Sam and the Caseys sparring (and/or exchanging recipes? It was really unclear), Tucker and Donnie geeking out in the lab, Draxum and Splinter talking quietly with Dani, April off at school, and Jack napping off the last of his medications, the only ones left for Danny to talk to were his mom and Leo.
And while Maddie and Jack certainly loved their son, Leo knew all too well how stifling it could be to be recovering from an injury and treated like glass because of it- even by others who were just as badly hurt (and maybe even whose injuries were your fault).
Maddie blinked, glancing over at Leo. "Are you sure? How would you buy pizza, anyway, given…well…"
"This whole situation?" supplied Leo, grinning and gesturing towards himself. When Maddie nodded, Leo shrugged. "Perks of knowing a yokai in the pizza business. Danny might stick out a bit once we get there for his humanoid looks, but literally everybody there is different from everybody else. Nobody'll bat an eye, compound or otherwise."
Maddie's own eyes widened slightly, but then she caught sight of the hopeful expression on Danny's face.
Leo grinned wider. Cabin-fever boys 1, overprotective parents 0.

Fentons open a bar in gothem
So the GIW find out danny is phantom and distroys amity park, danny was only able to save jazz and maddie because they were with him
After their safely in the ghost zone jazz and danny explain to maddie about how dannys phantom and what the GIW really are and everything
Maddie accepts danny and is now very protective because of hunting her own son, losing her husband, vlad fighting danny and the GIW, jazz is protective of him for similar reasons
Then they meet dan and over a few months maddie, jazz and danny reform dan and after dan was forgiven for his crimes he was filled in on everything that happened and now dan is protective too
The entire remaining fentons are extremely overprotective of eachother dispite how strong they are
.
.
.
After a few years in the ghost zone, jazz and maddie become liminal and immortal while dan and danny have effectively stopped aging, and now want to have a life outside of the ghost zone
So they all look and come across gothem...and decide to open a bar
.
.
.
About 9 months later "Fenton zone" is one of the hottest hits for the criminals of gothem
The bartender may look young enough to be your child but he doesn't bat an eye to scheming, violent stories or threats. He'll talk to you like a person and has soon become the favourite
The manager(?) Is an esentric womam who loves to show off her new inventions and will sometimes offer advice to the criminals
And the red haired girl that showes up looks to be in charge of the entertainments, nice but don't get into a debate with her...she'll win
And the bouncer who is 6.9, jacked and more intimidating that the bat definitely keeps everyone in line
Follow the rules and you'll be fine...dont and there will be consequences
But the criminals love it, no one bats an eye to the criminals, hell they often swap scar stories with eachother
Harly and jazz love to talk phyciatritrist with eachother
Danny seems to know alot about plants and activly helps ivy with them
Maddie and the riddler got into a poetry battle once
And dan is the arm wrestling champion (the only one whos beat him is danny but everyone thinks dan let him win) but is always up for a challenge
Dont order food though, the one time anyone did maddie came out chasing living hotdogs, danny sighed grabed a net and helped maddie while jazz maned the bar
It was good it really was...
But once again the bat had to try and ruin all the fun

I just read this fic:
And can I say, I love the idea of Jason joining the Fenton family so much? Usually is otherwise, and I really like that, but they would be so good for each other.
He would fit so well with them, a family of bright, intelligent, people with feral overprotective tendencies and academic aspirations (no, Danny is not the exception, he wanted to be an astronaut). Jazz finally would have someone to nerd about non-ghost/technological things and he's a triumphant at the same level as her— a triumphant in a genius family.
Danny would have a Big brother who is happy to scare anyone he asks, help him with the superhero things one only can master (lol) through experience or a mentor's guide, and he can introduce him to the ghost culture. Besides, he would enjoy listening to Danny's space infodump.
Danielle and he would get along like a house on fire. He would carry her on his shoulders for fun but also so Ellie could look down on people she's being petty with. And they would exchange travel stories.
Last but not less important, Jack and Maddie could be excellent parents for Jason, especially post-resurrection. When he needs to feel safe and loved. And in a universe where Maddie and Jack turned pages and are doing better now— They're putting effort to be better parents because they love their kids— that's what he gets. Unconditional love.
He went for a lot of things and then when he was finally in a safe place, everything went down and he died. He woke up to a world that didn't change a single bit of those parts— those parts that hurt him and others that can't do anything but try to defend themselves and resist. And yet, it changed too much. The people he cares for and love were different, and he could accept that with time, but what was the point if they didn't would try to do the same for him?
Because from his point of view, they don't love him anymore or not in the same way he loves them. Not at the same amount either. And it hurts. Knowing that he's never going to be as loved as the others. That his dad prefers a fake memory of a son that he doesn't seem to remember well, an illusion, over him, a son that came back from death and cried for him even when he couldn't think. When he was a brainless zombie basically. It hurts him to know that, at his father's eyes, he worths nothing now. It hurts him every time he sees the scar in his throat.
It no surprises him when one day he wakes up feeling there's liquid fire destroying him from inside. He's having trouble to breathe and his head is screaming nothing and everything at once— Fortunately, he doesn't stay alone like that for too long.
At some moment his phone must have gone off because before he noticed it, he had it in his hand and a familiar voice was talking from the other side. For some miracle (or what Roy called his Jay-senses) Roy Harper decided to call him at whatever hour it was. They talked. What was happening? He didn't know. Is he injured? No. Is he in pain? "..." What did he need? Again, he didn't know.
For when Jason ended the call, they must have spent at least a hour on it. He vaguely remembers that the sky was still dark when he woke up and now the sun was— well, not out because it was Gotham, but it was somewhere up there.
Two hours later, Jason is driving out of Gotham, following Roy's advice. Who may not be a therapist but learned enough about mental health from Dinah to know what Jason needed. Space from the metaphorical knife in his heart. So he chose a random direction and started moving.
The next morning Jason finds himself in a town called Amity Park, Illinois, he thinks. He wasn't paying too much attention to anything that wasn't the road. Quite the opposite, actually. He was looking for a distraction.
At that exact moment, a green glowing blur collided five feet from him. Whoa, that was close. The green blur was followed by a flying... galaxy-themed child? Said child raised his hand and shouted a green beam to the crater where the green crashed.
Well, he was looking for a distraction, wasn't him? Maybe he should wait and see what's happening here. He doesn't know if the kid is a meta defending himself of a robot or just practicing his powers.
"Wao! Wao there kid! Watch the bike! I just painted it! Don't ruin my hard work like that". So, the green one was a person, not a thing. Good to know.
"Well, don't ruin MY hard work then, Johnny——", the glowing star child frowned, tilting his head. "Do you sense that? Is like—" he closed his eyes and turned around— And what kind of relationship do they have that he can do that with someone he was attacking just a seconds ago?— the green guy also did the same thing. It looked a bit funny. What were they even doing? Maybe they were searching something?
Well, he was never going to find out that spying on them like a stalker. That was more a thing of— yeah. No. Not that he was hidden, just in silence under the shadow of this big tree. So, yeah, nothing like him.
"Hey", he stepped out— and immediately got wrapped by a black whip thingy and pulled in front of the glowing people. The thing screeched. What was this?
"Shit. You're core is breaking bad man."
His what?
____
Then they carry him to Danny's home and Johnny goes for Frostbite while Danny explains him what a core is because dude looks so confused. Then he has to explain what a halfa is and boy, he didn't need another identity crisis.
Jazz arrives in the middle of this, sees his brother giving a Ghost Intensive Course resumed to a strange teenager on the sofa, and postpones her own crisis (because they ARE turning in her parents, damnit) to start damage control.
For when Frostbite comes with a core expert aside, the Fenton parents had already wrapped Jason like a burrito. Jack is seated on the next couch to him with a plate of cookies (from Tucker's dad btw), Maddie is placed beside Jason talking about his time at college, and the three Fenton children are coming down from preparing the guest room.
Turn out his core IS shattering because, for ghosts, that are partially made of it, emotions are highly important. So, experiences like abandonment or betrayal, for example, can cause damage to the core.
The feeling of burning was the energy of his core escaping through leaks. Frostbite tells them that if he hadn't got help now, he probably would have felt a sharp sudden pain in a few days and exploded. Jason almost choke on ecto-rade when he heard that, he was at the edge of his second death and would have been an explosion. Again.
He gets promptly distracted when the other yeti, a lady called Blizzard, inquires that the liquid sensation was probably a sign that he has a water affinity core, and proceeds to explain what core affinities are. He can't help but grin because that sounds just like he will be able to do water bending. What? He died at fifteen, he was allowed to act childish sometimes.
----
Anyways, that's all what I have so far. Feel free to add anything.

I love how amazing these two look side by side! Honestly I’m tempted to make them a part of another fraternal twin AU like with Flynn and Jazz. And the best part is they both get ghost powers because Victoria sensed that her twin brother was in danger moments before the accident via that twin telepathy stuff since she was there that day and attempted to pull him away from the proto-portal only for them both to end up hospitalized.
She recovered a bit quicker than Vlad did because she wasn’t hit directly by that blast of raw ecto-energy, but being the overprotective sister that she is it was Victoria who turned Jack and Maddie away when they tried to visit Vlad. Victoria would do anything to protect her “younger-by-a-minute” brother and blames both of his friends for the accident, especially Maddie since they were best friends and Victoria thought Maddie was smarter than that and would never have let Jack make such a stupid and dangerous mistake. Sadly, her brother can’t help but still love Maddie so setting her own feelings aside Victoria does what she can to get them together but unfortunately Maddie ends up marrying Jack and if it wasn’t for her, Vlad would have completely fallen apart...
They helped each other through the changes too when they discovered their ghost powers. And while they both ended up becoming successful business people, Victoria owns and runs high class hotels and things like that. She’s always on the look out for old houses to restore and sell that might hold ghostly relics and such for Vlad. Lastly, Victoria travels a lot so while she does own several homes of her own, during her vacations she spends that time with Vlad to catch up so he won’t be lonely. After all, their parents passed a long time ago which meant all they had was each other.

DP - PT AU - Beauty & the Beast
I just thought about an idea for a Phantom Twins AU.
I want a Beauty & the Beast where my character, Dina, is Belle, Plasmius is Beast, there is no actual Gaston & in his place is Dina's overprotective twin brother, Danny. This would make Dina's conflict with him, instead, his overprotectiveness.
Sam & Tucker are sort of his Lefou, minus the brown-nosing & yes-manning. Danny is courting Sam & since this isn't a more modern story, she doesn't havr the same 'not like other girls' problem.
I mean, I guess there is sort of a Gaston, it's Dash & he does try to get with Dina, but he's not the antagonist in the end.
The Fentons would still be considered very strange. They are both inventors & Jack is, specifically a Fenton, which are a branch off a long line of illustrious supernatural hunters, called the Nightingales, that were descended from a dhampir, so they have the ingrained ability to sense the supernatural, as well as have slightly superhuman physicalities which gives them a leg up in the business. The Fentons, including Jack & Maddie, prefer to specialize in ghosts, but also know how to handle other supernatural beings just in case.
Jack & Maddie specifically consider themselves scholars of the study of spectrology & spend a lot of their time trying to pioneer new ways to study & fight ghosts. This, however, tends to get them viewed by the staunchest of church-goers & other religious believers, such as the Mansons, as dabbling in the dark arts themselves. Sometimes, they are looked at through a similar lense to witches. Which is why Sam has to sneak out in order to see Danny & Tucker.
Sidebar: It actually turns out that Pamela is descended from a wiccan burned at the stake & this is part of what makes the woman so strict. She worries that her daughter has inherited some of her ancestor's aberrant behaviors. This is initially what interested Sam about the Fentons, but she stayed for Danny.
Just keep a lot of Disney's animated version of it (I don't agree with what Disney does or supports, but they do make great animated movies when they're not trying to woke-ify everything), add the live-action's Evermore scene, plus some modifications to the story.
As far as Vlad goes, he was a sorcerer king dabbling in trying to access the 'Hereafter' with dark magic to gain power & conquer both life & afterlife. Asshole was ambitious. What he skipped over was the section explaining that such portals required a sacrifice.
When he cast the spell, he was suddenly met with a little old man who offered him a rose to turn back & never attempt this again. Of course, Vlad refused, mocking such an ugly old man.
Only to fall back in horror when the old man revealed himself to be Death itself, come to judge him. To his credit, when Death tried to reap his soul, Vlad resisted his fate strongly enough that the primordial being was impressed & decided to give him one last chance to save himself.
So, Vlad & his castle & all the servants in it were cursed. The servants & Vlad all became ghosts & couldn't leave his castle. Like in the live-action, no one outside the castle remembers anything to do with the castle or its residents.
Vlad's form & coloring is like Plasmius, but it's also like the gargoyles from Gargoyles. We all know his coloring, but his hair is down & long instead of up in those dumbass devil horns. Instead, he has teal horns, the same color as his skin, that start at his forehead, curve over his head, then point up. He has massive, saber-like fangs & sharp teeth, talons, is digitigrade with sharp, taloned feet, the ends of his fingers are coal black as if frostbitten, a long, tapering, lizard-like tail, a long, snake-like tongue, & large, bat-like wings that he wraps around his shoulders to form a cloak instead of a cape like in canon. He's also much taller than normal. However, normally, his eyes are the same as they were when he was human; royal blue with white sclera. Except for when he's angry, they glow entirely red with black slitted pupils.
Like this:
Tumblr media
The past 20 years have not been kind to him & he's become bitter & somewhat feral in his isolation. He often switches between walking on 2 legs & walking on 4 & his temper is short & explosive.
Vlad was always power hungry & selfish, so to suddenly have so much power, yet be unable to use it would make him miserable. Not to mention how hideous he found himself now.
Anyway, we all know the story, "love & be loved in return & the spell will be broke." Specifically, here it needs to be that he's loved enough to share the burden of the 'curse.'
Anyway, Vlad & Dina meet when Jack was taking the Fentons' latest invention a town or so over to help with a hunt, when he stumbled upon Plasmius' castle & trespassed under the guise of flushing out some ghosts.
He's imprisoned & his horse finds Dina who leaves a note & goes off to find him. Like in the animated version, she offers herself in exchange for her father, impressing Vlad with her bravery, & so the story begins.
The dresser, I think I'd make Dorathea, who was actually a princess from one of Vlad's allying kingdoms. It was Mattingly, a kingdom known for their magical rulers who'd been dragonslayers that forged amulets from the hearts of dragons to obtain their power. She was a gift given to Vlad by her cruel brother, Aragon. Initially, she was meant to be Vlad's wife & future queen, thus forging a stronger alliance between Vlad's kingdom of Amity Vale & Mattingly, but he had no interest in sharing his rule with anyone & made her his servant. Though Aragon was a misogynistic sack of shit & cared little for his sister, he viewed Vlad's actions as an insult to him specifically & was insulted because of his pride rather than on his sister's behalf. This lead to war between the 2 kingdoms which lead to Vlad's conquest of Mattingly. Anyway, she'd be either the dresser or take the place of the featherduster. She also has a thing going on with Fright Knight.
I think Lunch Lady, I think I'll name her Mrs. Annabeth Letterman, would take the spot of Mrs. Pots & Box Lunch, Abigail Letterman, would be Chip. Box Ghost, Herbert Letterman, would still be human & working in Dina's village unaware that he even has a wife & daughter due to the nature of the spell.
Skulker would be the royal huntsman (he's obviously not gonna have a robosuit here & he instead has a legit body that mimics his suit in canon), Fright Knight would be a general. Ember the court musician. Cujo would be the footrest from the animated version. Ghost Writer would be chronicler & librarian.
Here, Walker isn't a ghost, he's the local sheriff in Amitytown (the town nearest the castle) & Maddie's father. He used to work at the palace as captain of the royal guard, but retired to the town when his wife got pregnant.
Anyway, this version would follow Lima Syndrome in that the captor would start to change as a person due to exposure to his captive. While Dina would begin to see the humanity in him, it would only be once he started to change & she wouldn't make excuses for his bad behavior before that, standing up to him much like Belle does in the animated movie.
She's there for months & by this point, Jack's gotten back to town & tells everyone, including his family, that a monster had his daughter. While the Fentons are the town crackpots, they're taken more seriously than in the show because of Jack's connection to a long & illustrious line of hunters even if he is the black sheep of the black sheep of the family. (And no, that wasn't a typo. I meant to do black sheep twice in order to emphasize how far removed from his family he is.) How he managed to land Maddie, no one knows. As such, the townspeople might not initially believe him, but are still cautious.
In his worry, Danny, who had been studying to be an astronomer, heel-face turns into going full hunter to try & save his sister. It turns out that he has a natural talent for being a hunter & becomes very good, very quickly. He goes out on hunts, exercises ghosts & demons, slays monsters & other supernatural creatures that have attacked nearby villages & towns.
Danny quickly becomes the new rising star in the hunter community & at home. Ousting Dash from his place as star of Amity before eventually ranking higher than Valerie as top hunter in the district with her being top non-Nightengale hunter, only now he doesn't care about popularity. He's doing this all to save his sister. Sure, he now has a lot of girls throwing themselves at him, but he cares about that about as much as he does being popular right now. He's got a mission & he's going to accomplish it, damnit!
His friends actually help him despite his warnings to stay away. Sam even learns apotropaic magics to help while Tucker takes up archery.
It's during one of his hunts that he manages to take out one of Valerie's targets & that pisses her off. Danny doesn't particularly care because so long as the target is taken care of & no one's getting hurt anymore, it shouldn't matter who does it.
They get into a rivalry that eventually turns into a companionship of sorts.
During the months that Dina is with Plasmius, the Fentons are training their son & studying up on how to fight against this 'Beast.' Jazz tries to be the voice of reason, but the rest of her family are out of their minds with worry.
When Dina runs off & is saved by Plasmius, they become friends. This is when he begins to value her as a person & wants to make her happy. He begins falling in love, but Dina isn't yet. In an attempt to make her happy, he gives her free access to both the library & the kitchen. At some point, she bakes him a plate of cookies to which he's touched. He tells her that he used to bake with his mother before she died to which Dina asks him if he'd like to help her next time. To this, he says yes. After the iconic dance, Plasmius gives her his magic mirror, then releases her from his custody to go & nurse her ailing father back to health & Vlad is already in love & just wants her to be happy.
He sings Evermore as she runs home. He doesn't realize that she intends to come back. Anyway, when she gets there, her family is relieved by her return. When they ask how she escaped, she tells them that she didn't, Plasmius released her.
Maddie denies the possibility, insisting that a ghost wouldn't do that.
Then, Danny comes in saying, "Unless, he put her under a spell to put us under a false sense of security." Like, he's been, essentially, eating, sleeping, & drinking the anti-supernatural kool-aid since he learned his sister was captured & he hasn't had a good night's sleep since. He's a little whacked out rn.
This leads to the Fentons locking Dina in the basement of their home & Jazz trying to convince them not to.
Danny gathers the mob, Valerie being one of his frontrunners, & attacks Plasmius' castle in an effort to try & protect his family, & especially his sister, from Plasmius & get him to release his twin from his influence.
At the end, when Plasmius decides to put Danny down instead of dropping him to his death, Danny doesn't stab him because he finally realizes that Dina was telling the truth. Instead, Dash picks up Danny’s iron sword with a rowan handle & stabs Vlad in a vain attempt to get back on top of the social ladder.
When the spell is broken, Vlad is in human form & his eyes are how Dina recognizes him. When they kiss, the magic doesn't just turn all the servants & the castle back to normal, it cuts Vlad's ghostliness in half, turning him into a halfa, his ghost form becoming more in-line with canon Plasmius. To compensate, Dina is given the other half of his ghostliness & made into a halfa with him. One that reflects her inner beauty.
In ghost form, Vlad has fleshy-colored skin, if slightly paler than his human form with just a tinge of blue (it's actually unsettlingly corpse-like in color), his hair remains down & charcoal black with a silver streak, & his eyes are glowing magenta with white sclera, but they turn entirely red when angry.
They marry & she becomes his queen. Then, they live happily ever after.
The End.

ZOOTOPIAN SONIC THE HEDGEHOG BRAINSTORM TIME DAY 5 THE FINAL DAY
CHARACTERS AND CHARACTER ROLES
The side characters and (of course!) Villains
Considering this is a final touch, let's focus for rest a.k.a the others.
Here is my recap:
"As you can see there are some characters I included in in certain scene (aside from Yoshi), I present to you Judy’s niece named Cotton and one of Judy’s (many) sisters Violet Hopps. No, those are not an OC from any fandom, those are official characters from Zootopia universe. You already actually know Cotton but for those who don’t know who is Violet, she was introduced in Zootopia Graphic Novel in comic named “Brothers & Sisters” and considering how she is very overprotective of Judy (like any other Hopps) I thought she would fit perfectly for Rachel role (I don’t think she’s Cotton’s mother so don’t ask), and also she’s the only official Hopps sibling with name we know. I wanted also include another characters into this doodles but I like I said before I didn’t have enough space on one paper. So here are my character ideas: Clawhauser as Wade, Bogo as Major Bennington, Mayor Lionheart as Commander Walters (no surprise). For others like Crazy Carl and Agent Stone I had some problems.
For Crazy Carl I first thought about who would fit perfectly and I came up with a lot of ideas: first I thought about Duke Weaselton, since he has face for that crazyness but then I declined since he doesn’t fit on the character, then I thought about Pop-Pop Hopps but that was questionable considering in movie he had a huge aversion of foxes (red as devil) and comic he’s not biased but then I thought who could describe Crazy Carl better than well-known concept crazy theorist Honey Badger am I right?"
So let's it summarize:
Clawhauser as Wade (obviously)
Chief Bogo as Major Bennington (still can't get over the fact that Idris Elba is voicing Knuckles in Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and this happened after I made those fanarts. This kind of feels foreshadowing now, don't you think?)
Mayor Lionheart as Commander Walters (I might foreshadowed this well, no pun intended, after what we saw in sequel)
Honey Badger as Crazy Carl (it makes sense)
Violet Hopps as Rachel, Maddie's sister
Cotton Hopps as Jojo, Rachel's daughter
And now the Villains
Recap
"As for agent Stone I had no idea what to do with him. I could let him stay as but that would make questions of humans and I didn’t want to put Bellwether into this position. If she was unhappy of been unappreciated and humiliated by predators then I don’t think she would really want to work with someone who is full of himself more than her and only see humanity as an excuse of stupidity and “herd of useless sheep (get it?)” and only relay on machines. And characters from Zootopia Crimes was not an option and Jack Savage was out of question no in my point. Not saying that Jack Savage could be a great option but I don’t think fans would appreciate another bad guy role for Jack and I already have something different for him in my mind. Then it came another that would fit for Stone and that is a certain platypus Dr. Starline from Sonic The Hedgehog IDW comics. He admires Eggman and his evil genius (questionable) and in comics he’s working as partner/assistant for him. But since he is mobian as Sonic we could use idea that government knows about it (partially) but does not tell and he thinks that he is an unusual zootopian platypus (after all he does wear clothes and looks “more” normal unlike Sonic) and we could do the same with Robotnik considering his past about grand-father and project Shadow if Jeff Fowler would follow some headcanons (I wouldn’t surprised if some government keeping some secrets even from employers). But then again we could use also Tony, a bunny from Zootopia Crime Files since he is shady and bland at once and already wear a suit, like agent Stone (great, now I don’t know which one to choose again).:
You know what, I’ll give you an option who would fit for role of Agent Stone:
1. Dr. Starline, a platypus from Sonic The Hedgehog IDW comics✅
2. Tony, a bunny from Zootopia Crime Files❌
3. Jack Savage, a jackrabbit from Zootopia concept art/Savage Seas (you don’t have to take that third one too seriously, but just in case)❌"
Update: After watching second movie I think Dr. Starline fits the role of Agent Stone perfectly.
And we already established that Jack Savage would have his own role along with Agent Skye.
Such as:
Jack Savage and Skye as Agents of G.U.N. under leadership of Commander Theodore Lionheart.
And there is Dr. Robotnik a.k.a. Eggman
Recap:
"And finally with Robotnik, we use that orphan idea and certain headcanon from Sonic X about planets that once were one until they divided and made their own time and space alterations, prof. Gerald Robotnik (Eggman’s grand-father) could study Mobius for finding cure for Maria, creating Shadow, G.U.N. etc. It could be three worlds (Sonic’s world/Mobius, Robotnik’s world/our world, and Zootopian’s world) or just two (Mobius and Zootopia), what works better."
I don't think I need to say more.
Let's recap our story plotline:
Guest/Disneyfriend: But I guess, that I made it hard for you with those moments so how about this we use the final moments like in your fanfic Carcass Bride: FINAL BOSS BATTLE SONIC VS. ROBOTNIK because honestly this moment is epic (wish I could make it bigger), it would start Sonic running from Robotnik, like we’ve seen in beginning of the movie, get shot retelling in short whole story, like in movie only less detailed and faster the confrontation between Nick and Robotnik (Sonic would unconscious but still hear them and had a self-doubt like Naruto in first chapter/episode if you what mean until he hear the important words that’ll give him boost), the final battle and then epilogue (Sonic with his new family) with open ending (you know the Eggman in Mushroom planet and then Tails’s introuction).
3. Night Howler case happened but was solved instead of Judy and Nick by Jack and Skye who later became agents and don’t like Robotnik for his ego:
a) Nick come from Green Hills (Wachowskis live as police in GH for 50 years), but suffered from Ranger Scouts move to Zootopia became “shifty fox” until he’s saved by childhood friend Judy from Bunnyburrow (from wrong decision and targeting to become savage) and the return to Green Hills become sheriff along with his new wife.
b) Both Nick and Judy just heard about it in Green Hills.
I guess the first and third are more interesting.
Zoocross0vers: I actually really like this idea! I think the ending would be the best moment to do :)
I kind of like the third idea, maybe Nick in this case is a little more ambitious and read about the other fox and bunny couple that solved a case in the big city and he wants to do something just as exciting, but Judy’s the more practical one in this case. So he wants to jump at the chance to become a big city cop in Zootopia.
Guest/Disneyfriend: But after days later waiting for response I have been thinking about it and realized that the final battle with happy ending and small cliffhanger is indeed best choice since there is that teaser for the second movie already and I thought we could use that. Imagine like this: the chase (like in beginning the movie), quick recap, then final battle, then happy ending on the table (with some small nostalgic flashbacks and conversations) and the cliffhanger and at the end of cliffhanger you will put something like “SEE YOU SOON IN….” with picture of logo of the second movie SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2 (or gif. if that is possible in AO3 because I don’t know, in fanfiction.net just big thick words). Pretty creative and cool don’t you think? ;-)
Zoocross0vers: The other ideas sound good, but I think you’re right. The ending sequence does sound like the best and it would be a nice set up for a possible sequel one-shot :)
Guest/Disneyfriend: Sonic as Sonic - since he’s the main character of the story there’s no need to change his character role since those are key-important for the plot like in movie
The only in his case would be the change of place and  comunity: he’s in world of anthromophic mammals with no powers and certain prejudices and stereotypes, and sometimes certain paranoias, which that makes his anxietes harder since he is also a mammal/hedgehog but still different: blue, prefers shoes, glowes instead of clothes and has powers. And it could be possibility that when he arrived on Zootopia (not sure how if their planet is called Earth or not) the missing mammal case was happening and distrust towards mammals was growing, give him reason to not show up after what happened last time. There could be also small possibility he helped stopped the Bellwether takeover although unknowingly (or maybe not? who knows) and some two pair of eyes probably might noticed him even briefly though if you know what I mean. But for the record he decided to hide in Green Hills where he meet Nick and Judy and you know the rest.
Nick was actually born in Green Hills and was friend with Judy Hopps in childhood after incident with Gideon, but after incident with Ranger Scouts where she was present in this case ashamed for certain actions he decided to move (or run away) to Zootopia to live as shifty fox, unaware of him been targeted by Bellwether. But Judy whose also decided to study in Zootopia find and trying to make up to him and bring him back to Green Hills. After studying, while dating, they return to Green Hills get married and Nick follows footstep to became sheriff be a better person (unaware of him also been followed by small certain blue guardian: take a hint of what I mean by it). After hearing of Bellwether case he wants to try be a cop in Zootopia to find a purpose (instead just leave Green Hills out of boredoom he wants to prove himself be better). He sympatize with Sonic more since he knows what is like to feared of what you are and been haunted by a past.
Judy cares for her husband since childhood despite of what happened, she even go after him to make up to him, save him from wrong path and ask for forgiveness, since she feels responsible for it, even though none of both was fault. She was born in Bunnyburrow but always visited her relatives from mothers side in Green Hills where she also first met Nick (inspired by my life, I really love to visit my relatives) She wanted to be cop but could not, but also found a passion in medicine and that is why she became vet after she moved in Green Hills with Nick (those two make a really great team, also it is nice callback from concept of Zistopia where Nick pretented to be vet). She also shows connection with Sonic and in this case has less problems with his “nudity” considering she always has to check her patients without clothes. (trust me I know what I talking about)
Zoocross0vers: I picture Nick would be something like this where he and Judy weren’t the ones who solved the Bellwether and Nighthowlers case, but Jack and Skye. And he wants to have an exciting adventure like that and be a hero, do something important, but nothing ever happens in Green Hills.
I could still see Judy being his partner on the force, but unlike him, she’s actually pretty content being a cop in a small town. Though, if you like the idea of her being a vet better for this then I could work with that ^^
I’m not sure about the US, but in the UK, there’s a medical/officer position called Force Medical Examiner (FME). They’re basically doctors that respond specifically to police incidents. I guess Judy could be that?
I think I like the idea of this Nick having been born in Green Hills rather than Zootopia, because that makes his desire for a new and bigger setting more important. If he grew up in Zootopia, left it, then wants to go back to it, then it kind of takes away that feeling of wanting more.
Not sure yet, if Sonic should’ve had an active role in the nighthowler incident, but maybe he did manage to see the fear and chaos it caused in animals via Nick and Judy’s TV and by observing animals from afar. If he did decide to help solve it though, maybe he probably just helped Jack and Skye grab the concentrated pellet and handed it to them like a blue blurr and then with that evidence in their grasp, it proved enough to arrest Bellwether and they got the credit since nobody saw him.
Guest/Disneyfriend: Green Hills and Bunnyburrow are two separate towns because I wanted Judy and Nick live on their own together while Judy’s family living in Bunnyburrow supporting them (well most of them like Violet). I am pretty sure that I even said that Judy have some relatives of mother’s side Green Hills.
And yes I want Judy and Nick be like Sonic’s parents. But first it must start as friend and then it become as family.
As for our already established character let's recap again
Nick was born in Green Hills, working as local sherrif
Judy was born in BunnyBurrow, but married Nick and moved to Green Hills, working as vet and sometimes as Nick's cop partner/Medical Examiner.
Dr. Eggman's backround is unknown and he is the only human in anthro-animal world.
Sonic travel as well to Green Hills and got adopted by Nick and Judy (see I knew Tom and Maddie became parents👩🏾‍❤️‍👨🏻, once Sonic moved with them and the second movie just confirmed. *Squee* I'm so happy😁)
Now that we have everything we need along with your re-upload. Are you ready for finally making Zootopian Sonic one-shot after 2 years?😃
