Anti looked over at Stacy, seeing that morphing monster in front of him caused him to shake again. But the more he listened to her words, the stronger a new feeling became as it took over his fears. He stood on all fours, raising his tail up in defense as he started to snarl lowly. Posi took notice of this, wondering what the Glitch was going to do.

She laughed while looking at the group. “Aren’t you so smart, Doctor. You were also a factor that ruined our marriage. You filled his head with lies about me, making him choose sides. For shame on you.” She mocked. 

Chase shook as he looked away, crying again. He couldn’t face her, but at the same time he didn’t want to listen to her. “I-I-I... No! T-That’s not true!”

“We know damn well none of those were lies! All of your memories of her, you could see what she was capable of! What she really did to you! You can not change the memories of that abuse, but that gives you all the more reason to NOT believe her!” Henrik defended.

Stacy continued to laugh. “That doesn’t matter. He’s still trapped in the past by me. After all, he knows that learning the truth now won’t ever free him.”

Angus stepped forward, no longer interested in what she had to say. “Alright, that’s fucking it. I’m gonna kick her ass. Who’s with me?”

“Let’s throw her off the Mindscape’s edge.” Nega agreed. Everyone else stood by Chase’s side, ready to defend him. Even Anti seemed to have been ready to attack, in a feral state that was. 

“Chaaase… you still love me, don’t you?” She asked innocently. 

“...I…” He hesitated, still looking away. 

"You won't fucking hurt him again, bitch." Angus snarled at her, as his wings puffed up in anger.

“If you love me, then you’ll come back and stay with me… forever.” She offered. “Just listen to me and I’ll love you ag-” At the moment, Anti hissed as the glitching around him seemed to have increased. His hands turned more into claws as his tail pointed out like a spear. Without thinking, and to everyone’s shock, he ran over and jumped onto the ‘Manifestation’ of Stacy. She screamed as Anti latched himself onto her, clawing at her face as he flung her goopy skin away. It disfigured her face terribly, again causing her to howl in pain. Posi and Nega did not know what to think of this situation. Henrik and Chase stared in awe while Angus… was in disbelief. “Get off of me, you fucking animal!” She managed to grab onto Anti, tossing him and sliding him across the street over to the others.

“Anti!” Posi quickly ran over to the Glitch as he checked him over, making sure he had no wounds. Angus knelt down to see if he was alright as well. 

Chase looked between Anti and Stacy, seeing what had happened and loss for words. “Chase, are you really going to let that thing attack me?!” Stacy demanded as she growled. “Kill it now!” She ordered. 

Chase felt like he was about to hyperventilate again, every single thought he had came crashing into him at once. He envisioned his memories of Stacy and the kids, how they seemed like a happy family. Then again, only three of the four were ever truly pleased with the life they had before Stacy wore the pants in the relationship. Stacy was right, knowing the truth at this point wouldn’t change the trauma he went through. But that didn’t mean he couldn’t use this to learn from his mistakes. “No!” He shouted, looking back over at her. He still had tears leaking down his cheeks, and though his body trembled, he was still doing his best to stand his ground. Gritting his teeth, he was the one that talked down to her! “I’m not going to listen to you any more, Stacy! You and I are through!!!” He raised up his nerf gun, pointing it right at her with his finger on the trigger.  This took me a lot longer to make, but I wanted to try my hand on body portions and background. I tried to make it look like the battle background for Chase's memory. I also did a bit of a redesign with Memory Stacy, I liked the idea of her having a two-face personality given how she most likely hid her abusive side of her family in public, which is a common trait for abusers. So in the battle, she is half human and half monster. Honestly, I had fund with her design to make her look slightly ugly. I also like Anti attacking her, being the feral he is! That was such a roller coaster of a chapter, and that was just one of the many memories we will see. OK okokok... gonna put this 'I just woke up' thought out there because this is tumblr and what else is it for? Someone has probably already said this and I haven't seen it, but whatever. I will throw it out anyway.

SO... Gale. We've all seen the posts where people quote the Gale lines about being naturally gifted with magic as a baby, a prodigy etc. and then point out that this is sorcerer behaviour.

BUT, what if... you're all right and it is sorcerer behaviour. BUT the orb feeds on weave/magic right? And sorcerers are born with innate magic... so what if he was born a sorcerer, then trained as a wizard, but the orb consumed his sorcerous magic. And that's why he's not as powerful as he once was, because, unbeknownst to him, all this time, he's been using that natural sorcerous connection to make accessing the weave easier. And now that's gone. Eaten up. Destroyed forever by the Netherese void.

And that's part of what's causing him pain. Because an instrinsic part of himself has been taken away. And he feels it like a phantom limb. Maybe he thinks it was actually connected to his relationship with Mystra, rather than a part of him, and that adds to his sense of loss from that relationship.

What if the first magic item Gale fed to the orb was himself and he doesn't even realise it?

A Little Robin

Has this been thought of before? (If so someone please, please send me it. I wanna read)

Either due to something his parents made to catch ghosts or some kind of new "I'm gonna end Jack but my soon to be step-son needs to be out of the way" plan by Vlad, Danny (as Phantom) gets trapped in a doll, a bird(robin) doll/plushy.

Somehow, someway the doll get sold or sent to Gotham and is picked up by Dick one day while shopping who decides to give the doll to one of his brothers (or Steph cause she was a Robin as well -slides on mutli-shipper shades- I'm not picky) cause it's Dick trying to be funny. (Or he keeps it cause it's a Robin plush)

Danny, whose slowly regaining his powers even in plush form (maybe whatever got him stuck in the plush is wearing off over time, not enough that he can get out though), is trying very hard to get back home (he tired mailing himself once but someone almost caught him moving about, let's go with like Toy Story rules). He doesn't want to get caught in Gotham cause of the bats, when he finds out his 'owner' is part of the batfam he REALLY doesn't want to get caught. Cue many moments of Danny trying to get his way home under the radar.

And... he tries very hard not to crush on his 'owner' too as well...

Like Tucker summoning a literal storm & getting lightning charged, or Sam fully emerging from the caves, or Valerie unearthing herself and the team realizing the entire dungeon-city was On Her Back.

Nightmare from the Past

CW: Blood and bruising, mentions of abuse.

Sirens were going off as the lights on the walls made the hallways shine red. Wee-Woo! Wee-Woo! Wee-Woo! That blaring noise could be heard in every single room of the facility. As damaging as it was to his sensitive ears, the subject kept running. His bare feet carrying his tiny form down the hallways. His chest was rising and falling at a quick rate as he attempted to get air into his lungs. The subject stayed close to the walls, doing his best to remain invisible. He peeked his head around the corner, seeing two figures in white lab coats with machine guns in their arms. They talked amongst themselves, as the subject listened.

“Did you find it yet?!”

“We’re searching the perimeter and locking down access to the elevators. It won’t get too far.” 

“We have to contain it before it unleashes its power!” “I’ll check the monitor room, see if we can gather any data from the cameras before it shuts them down.” The two of them split up, as the figure gulped. He took the chance to turn the corner and run as fast as he could. The shackles on his ankles and wrists made his body much more heavy, but he was persistent. He didn’t care how long he had to run or what he had to do, he finally managed to get out of that prison and he had to find a way to escape. He kept going, his heterochromic eyes focusing on the path ahead of him as his serpentine tail was raised up in defense. He knew now that he could no longer take the elevators to get him out of the lab, which meant he would have to find some vents. It would be a tight squeeze, even for his size, but it was the only option he had left. 

“There it is!” The creature gasped, looking back over his shoulder to see a bunch of people in tough armor and raised guns. Sensing danger, the creature used its legs and hands to run on all fours, scrambling down the never-ending maze that was this lab. The five men in armor ran after him, doing their best to keep up. He didn’t look back, he didn’t want to be taken back to his cell. He turned a couple more corners, hoping to lose them eventually. He would have tried taking shelter in one of the rooms, but they were all locked so his options of pathways were limited. 

He skidded to a stop as he found himself face to face with a dead end, becoming trapped by a wall and the five suited people that were approaching him with their machines at the ready. “S-Stay… away!” He warned them, keeping himself on his fours with his tail raised in a spear like manor. 

“Remember, contain it and do as minimal damage as possible.” One of the figures told the other four. They nodded, as one slowly approached with his weapon raised up and the finger on the trigger. The subject growled, he knew right then and there that he would either go down fighting, or go willingly back to his cage. And he was not going anywhere with these monsters! The pupils shrunk in the black scleras, looking pin-pricked as he jumped over to one of the figures. Raising his claw like hands up that he morphed to make the ends more sharper. He slashed at him, piercing the armor and making blood come out of his suit and body. The man groaned in pain, falling down on his knees as he held his open wound to prevent it from bleeding out.

“It’s gone into the feral state!” One of the remaining four shouted. 

“Take it down!” The other ordered. Two other men raised up their guns, firing darts to try and pierce into the subject’s skin. He managed to avoid the darts thrown his way as the subject went over and slashed at the other two guards, making the crimson liquid spill out of them. He even went as far as to pierce one with his tail, sending him flying into the wall. The subject growled, showing off his sharp chompers as he was not going to be an experiment any longer. Two guards remained standing, as they were face to face with a rabid beast. The subject snarled, approaching them as he was ready to pounce. 

“Where’s the backup?!”

“They should have been here by-agggh!” The other one fell to the ground, as the monster held him down. His eyes crying out black tears as he raised up his clawed hand which was ready to strike down the one he had pinned to the floor. Just as the bladed fingers were ready to slash at the armor, the subject gasped all of a sudden. He looked down, seeing something that had punctured his very throat. The other figure had snuck up behind him, a knife in hand as he used it to slice through the throat of the subject before pulling away. It was enough for him to have fallen off of the one he had pinned down. He held onto his neck, doing his best to keep it from bleeding anymore. The wound wasn’t deep enough to do any fatal damage, but it was causing him to make his vision grow fuzzy. 

“Quickly, sedate it!” The one who had wounded the feral demanded. The subject fell to the floor, already feeling nauseous and queasy as the blood loss was getting to him. He looked up, seeing one of them taking out a syringe with some green gel inside of it. He whimpered, laying on the ground as his body grew numb. There was nothing he could do now, it was all over as he felt the needle going into his arm and the liquid being absorbed into his bloodstream. The world went dark, like it always had been for him. 

I feel this was a bit rushed, but I wanted to get this out and the background may be a bit lazy, but to be fair we never got real screenshots of the Omitted verse, so i have to improvise. At least I could now draw an uncorrupted Anti, even if it's not in the best situation. I also really wanted to draw Anti's life while he was being held in the hospital, which is something we never got in Soulscape. Honestly, if you're gonna make a sympathetic character after making Anti being an ass, the least you could do was show us the torment he went through. It's one of the things I ended up adding for my Soulscape revise, since we never got to see much of Anti's backstory I went ahead and added a bit. I tried to stay with the canon of the scape universe, but added my own head canons now and then, especially with what they were experimenting on Anti. What were they using Anti, for you may ask? Well, that answer will be revealed soon.
