I wonder (heh) what the relationship between Skidad and Wonderdad (I'm calling him that now) was like before the former died, I remember seeing fanart once where Wonderdad didn't like him/was suspicious of him and it's lived in my head even since even though I can't find it

I guess it would depend if Pump's family is in the cult or not (I wouldn't be surprised if they were because it seems like Roy's family, who are wealthy and prestigious, are in it)

Did Pelo ever say anything about Pump's parents being in the cult? I feel like I can remember him saying something about it on twitter but I might be misremembering (it doesn't help that I'm.barely awake rn)

Whenever this reaches you i hope your day/night has been wonderful. I just read your concepts on Green Lanterns: Special Forces and I’m in love it sounds so interesting and I will admit that the lanterns have a special place in my heart. But now I’m curious as to how Kyle would fit into everything, so would you be willing to expand on his character and role? Would also include his multiverse trip with Jason and Donna into your universe? Idk when canonically it fits lol but would that be something you’d be willing to play with or not? Absolutely no pressure either way I’m just curious lol I love pretty much everything you’ve done and Wondermom was one of my favorite series!!

Okay, so to start off, like I said in my first post, I really only have the loose structure of everything laid out, so adventures like the one with Jason and Donna are classified under “yet to be determined” but I will say, for my little DCAU I’ve got going on here, I want to use the multiverse as LITTLE AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE, because—like time travel—once you open that can of worms, things become so complicated and ��story creep” sinks in, and before you know it, you have Crisis on Infinite Earths, which I feel is a storyline that’s just so humongous I just stop caring. So… for the moment, it’s a big IDK. 🤷‍♀️

Alright, so getting into Kyle’s story! (keep in mind, again, I haven’t written anything down in certain terms. This is my “idea board” basically) So during the events of Emerald Twilight, Hal Jordon is so grieved by the death of his best friend Barry Allen that he decides to try and force a prophecy to come true in order to bring him back. The prophecy (Blackest Night) states that there will a unification of power among the Lanterns, and life will come forth in great abundance. Hal decides that the way to achieve “unification of power” is to take all the other Green Lantern rings by any means necessary and then he will be the sole wielder of the power of Will. Then, he’ll have enough power to bring Barry back to life. This is not what the prophecy meant, and it doesn’t work, but during the chaos, a new Green Lantern is chosen to replace Hal on Earth’s GL Team. He’s chosen in a rush, seemingly at random, and thrust into the fray. His name is Kyle Rayner.

Once Hal is defeated, his trial concluded and sentence carried out, the other GLs are able to assess Kyle more carefully, and they discover something truly remarkable. Remember the emotion tracker thing I made up for this AU? Well, in Kyle’s case all the levels are super high—all of them—with Willpower leading the pack by just a bit. Somehow, despite this clear unbalance of emotion (according to the GL handbook) Kyle is cleared by his ring for active duty, and showcases very refined control over his emotions and the ring. The only reason anyone can think of to explain this odd paradox is that Kyle is naturally super in touch with his emotions, but he’s also an artist, and he frequently uses those emotions by putting them all into his art. Intense feelings, but great control. A Green Lantern ring hasn’t chosen someone like this in a long, long time.

So, time goes on, Kyle gets trained up, Hal is visited in prison, more adventures ensue, and THEN something big happens. (I might be confusing this for something that happened in Sinestro Wars, or I just made it up—either way) Oa gets destroyed. Not entirely. Like, not Death Star level blown up, just blown to oblivion from orbit. BUT during this chaos, when everyone’s evacuating and trying to fight off the enemy, Kyle gets distracted. He thinks he can hear this strange sound coming from the Central Power Battery there on the planet, and it sounds vaguely like a whale call. As if completely forgetting there’s fire raining from the sky, he’s compelled to enter inside of the Power Battery and is transported to an Other Place. Here, he meets Ion, the spiritual personification of all willpower in the universe, taking the form of something that looks vaguely like a whale. Ion can sense that the time is right. Kyle has been chosen. He will be its new host.

From the outside, blaster fire strikes the Power Battery and it EXPLODES in great green furry, but from the top, like a bright green shooting star, Kyle flies, radiating Willpower Energy! He fights off the advancing enemy, the day is saved, and then the questions begin. Kyle is kind of like the Green Lanterns’ new Power Battery right now, playing host to Ion, and he also cannot turn this power off, which means he cannot return to civilian life. The Oans also don’t like the idea of him going out on missions anymore, because if something happens to him, Ion has no host, and then the Green Lanterns would be without power! Actually, they start to formulate their plan to build a new Power Battery for Ion so Kyle doesn’t have to be a host for it, but Ion stubbornly refuses. It will stay in Kyle and it will accept no other host. So for now, looks like he’s stuck.

(sidenote: I’m wondering if Hal should escape prison here during the fall of Oa? He disappears into the universe for a while like a vagabond and becomes something of a space ranger/outlaw/vigilante? Trying to atone for his crime? Just a thought…)

Then comes the Sinestro War. It begins when Sinestro captures Kyle (still working out HOW exactly he does that…) and since he knows that Kyle can handle being a host for an Entity, he decides to use him instead of building a whole Power Battery for Paralax, the Yellow Lanterns’ version of Ion. (Creepy bug-like beasty.) Paralax tries to take control, trying to push Ion out, but is unable to. In the end, Kyle is playing host to TWO entities, which is unimaginable! I mean, he wasn’t supposed to be able to do that with just one, but two is even more insane. So, in this state, Paralax manages to get some control over Kyle and Sinestro is able to start making Yellow Lantern rings, and the whole war thing happens.

After all that brouhaha is over and done with, the good guys still have to figure out how to get Paralax out of Kyle, and all they can think to do is try and give Ion a little help. So they lure Kyle to the Blue Lanterns’ planet where they convince Adara (Blue Lantern Entity, bird-like… thing) to also take Kyle as a host (temporarily) and help Ion fight Paralax out. Remarkably, Kyle survives the experience, but Paralax is absolutely refusing to let go of Kyle. If nothing else, he can’t control Kyle anymore, but now Kyle’s stuck with three Entities in his head, and no one knows what to do about it.

All of this comes to a head during Blackest Night. That little prophecy is about to come to pass, and it starts with the rising of the Black Lanterns, wielding the power of death itself. Much to write for this, very little is even conceptualised, except for how it ends, which is this:

Kyle catches the attention of all the remaining Entities, starting with Jerrog (The Butcher) aka the Red Lantern Entity (bull-looking monster). He’s just straight up angry at the fact that Kyle exists and wants to fight the other Entities inside of him, and so invites himself in. He’s quickly followed by Ophidian, (Orange, Greed, Snake) who’s just jealous that everyone else is using Kyle as a host and wants to take him for himself, and then he’s followed by Phillipa and Marona (Indigo, Compassion, Squid, and Pink, Love, Horse respectively. (yes, I changed the Pink Lanterns’ one a bit)) Anyway, they go diving in to try and help Kyle, but all they end up doing is nearly ripping Kyle apart on the molecular level! What stops them? Well, in a tremendous display of control, Kyle forces all the Entities to stop quarrelling, and suddenly he’s enveloped in a bright, white light! It shines so brilliantly that everyone, on every planet in every nearby galaxy can see it! From this miraculous light emerges the Entity for a new type of lantern. The White Lanterns. And the chosen shape? Man. Kyle. With this incredible power, he sends out White Lantern rings to all the heroes of the galaxies and calls them forward to fight the armies of Nekron, king of the Black Lanterns. It’s a huge crossover event, it’s insane, I still haven’t written more than this for it XD but in the end, the good guys win, and then…

Kyle takes everyone back to Oa where he reconstructs it as New Oa. He builds a new kind of Central Power Battery, one where it can fit all seven Entities, and the creation of any rings can be monitored and regulated. Finally, all the Entities let go of Kyle and return him to his natural state. Well, mostly. After going through all of that, it feels nearly impossible for Kyle to ever go back to being a “normal human.” From then on, due in no small part to the Guardians’ lack of initiative regarding the prophecy of Blackest Night and their failure to do a couple of other things, Kyle will be the leader of the Guardians from now on—staying on standby in case the White Lanterns are ever needed again. Also also, because of the new Lantern system he put in place, this is what opens the door to discovering the sub-sections of Lanterns, like the Gold Lanterns (joy) and the Grey Lanterns (sadness).

So there you have it! Everything I’ve written about this artistic, beautiful destiny’s child! Hope you enjoyed reading that, and I hope there aren’t any glaring holes, or things I ought to reconsider (or that I forgot) but that’s why this is just my idea board. Let me know what you think!

Ok, I had to read through your fandom list but this thought has been bouncing in my head for months.

I had this idea that due to a facing off against Lex or some other villain causes BatMan and Wonder Woman to be transported into another dimension, landing them in the world of One Piece and right in front of the A.S.L(Ace, Sabo, Luffy) brothers when they land on the island.

The 'brothers' talk about what to do with their 'intruders' and Luffy says that those two are now their hostages, and they have to do what the brothers say. Bruce and Diana decide to humor the brothers and go along with what they say, and the brothers want them to hunt for them. Then the two heroes saw what the brothers are forced to hunt so that they can have enough meat for a few days, and Batman does what Batman does best and adopts the three granted with WonderMom as well

I'm not really much of a DC Fan as I only watch the shows/movies and haven't seen any as of late other than Blue Scarab last year. @cf8wrk4u-us on the other hand is.

Anyway I do love this. Batman has an adoption streak a mile wild and Wonder Woman would endorse it. The Justice League are no doubt scrambling to find their missing companions especially the former since Gotham isn't something just anyone can handle. ASL brothers definitely be a handful, moreso Luffy and Ace.

The former often getting into trouble through his boundless curiosity while the latter rarely trusts anyone but is equally aggressive to boot. Batman will have to pull out a Bat Leash for Luffy as Wonder Woman can handle Ace better. Sabo is the middle ground troublemaker, not so bad but you still need to keep an eye on him.

Wondermom and young Jason prompt

one of the favorite things young Jason loved about being Robin was visiting the Watchtower with Batman. Jason loved being up there as it gave him the sense of flight, seeing stars and different aircrafts on the sky. so close; he swore he could touch them.

but what struck him the most was when he first met Wonder Woman. she's the most beautiful and captivating and strongest ; the literal perfect hero Jason has ever seen. when Wonder Woman flew to the cafeteria, giving Jason a soft smile with her comforting voice, he was blushing hard that he wanted to hide under Batman's cape. Jason was eating cereal and Wonder Woman wiped a few crumbs on his mouth. she called him "little prince" and asked him what's it like being Robin. he remembered she sat close to Batman, their arms brushing against each other. Jason took a mental note to ask B about that later tonight.

Wonder Woman has also saved Jason plenty of times.

one of those nights was when Jason and Bruce had an argument. Jason climbed down the window of his bedroom. he ran to the streets of Crime Alley. he thought he hated Bruce, he thought he didn't love his life at the manor, and he thought he wasn't worthy to be Robin. he smashed his distress signal and tracker, leaving Bruce clueless as to where he was.

the person who found him that night was Wonder Woman, who volunteered to help Batman. she noticed how stressed and not in his self Batman was when they had a Justice League meeting earlier.

Wonder Woman scooped Jason in her arms, finding him on an abandoned building, where he was smoking. she flew them to her apartment where she made sure he was warm.

"Diana, why did you look for me? I'm not worthy. I shouldn't even be Robin."

Diana hugged Jason and kissed his forehead, "My little prince, you are worthy. You're strong and smart, and it's sad you don't even realize it. Bruce just gets upset sometimes because he cares for you. That's what love is. It may be hard to understand at first, but you can feel it."

young Jason felt warmer than he ever did despite the cold weather outside.

from outside the window, Batman watched Diana embrace his son with an odd yet comforting and welcoming warmth on his chest.

Okay, as someone who's only watched the first Shazam movie, I absolutely love Billy's foster family. But can we acknowledge how adorable it'd be for Diana, who really wants to be Billy's mom, to co parent with them?

Absolutely In love with Diana showing up as wonder woman when Billy and Freddy have bully problems (okay, so maybe Bruce, a former bullied kid, recognized the signs and told her abt it. So what?)

Diana has this thing where she smiles like the sun without a bit of warmth. Yes, maybe she sends this 13 year old flying through the cafeteria. Maybe.

But it's not like Billy escapes this as Shazam, either.

There’s a kid crying, a blue skinned white headed kid that was just sitting there crying his eyes out in a panic as he was covered in a very large and dark cloak that was dwarfing him… that was cute to see but, the thing wouldn’t be an issue if there weren’t for the clusterfuck of dead cultist surrounding a green ominous portal under him while the poor kiddo shed luminescent tears nonstop.

“Why is there a kid?” ‘dumb question to ask Captain but sure let’s go with that yeah?’ scoffed annoyed Constantine after eyeing the magic champion while some of the members of the Justice League finished some of the goons that were still alive and resisting, Constantine just watched in dumbfounded stupor the crying baby eldritch abomination still wailing over there.

“I’ll go check on him first” said Wonder Woman, being the first to react after finishing her part, slowly walking forward with gentle steps and humming tunes to make the small baby calm down a bit and refocus on her. Dianna never went too closer to grab the small kid, but she slowly crouched in front of him, palms out and leveling her face in a calm expression, so the kid wouldn’t freak out while she still hummed songs and cooed calming words.

The poor kid wails gradually subsided and ‘oh my god, why are those eyes way too green!’ His eyes were completely black except his irises being a bright neon green shine, his small body trembled when only small hiccups stayed, in his small crying fit the lad had ended up sucking his thumb in a desperate attempt to calm down while looking for any non-frightening competent adult and after only seeing Dianna in front of him he tried to raise his small arms towards her but immediately cried as his arms wouldn’t move at all.

“I think the little boy is injured…” said Wonder Woman, breaking the silence once all suspects were aprehended and tied down “explain what you can see Wonder Woman” chastised Batman as he tried to walk towards her to check on the small boy only to be stopped by Superman, who had his eyes shinning red as he looked at the kid “For what I can see, the small child seems to have some broken bones and some internal bleeding… also there’s seems to be a sphere in the middle of his chest?”

“The demon baby is hurt?” Constantine blurted out incredulous, Zatanna wacked him furiously for that comment “if you haven’t heard what Superman said, he said he saw a sphere so it’s not a demon John! it’s a tuttelagé you idiot!”

“How the fuck would you know that isn’t a démonos, Z?!” cussed the magician as he moved a bit back while Zatanna then moved towards Wonder Woman, with spells already healing the poor baby body “tuttelagés are known to be protective spirits of kids that died wishing to protect their loved ones, their wish is then concentrated in their chest as a sphere so to see a young one hurt like this…” Wonder Woman looks grimm at the implications while Zatanna finish healing the young spirit and allows Dianna to pick him up once he’s done healing and calmed down bit.

“Someone must have hurt his protegué so bad that his body is getting affected by it” sentenced Batman as he glared with concern at the small baby who now is now resting his head in Wonder Woman arms and falling asleep.

MEANWHILE

Danny is soo scared and hurt all around his tiny body, the wounds he had while being subjected to the examine table makes him tear up in pain while also making his chest feels funny once the weird forced summoning spell stops pulling his being into existing; green stops flooding his vision only to be meet by a dark and open space full of dead people dressed in weird costumes, so the only answer he has to this is to wail.

Because thats all he can do now, cry. He cries and cries after all what had occurred to him; he cries for his parents betrayal and rejection of his being, he cries for the cruelty they subjected him into, the torture he had to endure and almost making his core break, he cries for his friends deaths when they tried to free him from all his pain but failed.

He cries and cries until the pain into his core is unbearable because he just lost his fright, his connection to the living, his reason of being here. He’s still crying when his senses tenses the moment something changed in his surroundings, he hears fighting and grunting and something falling down and he cries harder; because he’s scared and tired and he just wants Jazz to carry him and…

There’s someone humming, nice humming, calm humming, steps coming closer and then he looks up, scared and hurt and just tired only to find a beautiful black headed and blue eyes woman dressed in a nice outfit crouching in front of him, she’s humming something to him and just looking at him with calm and such gentleness that it makes him croon at her because he feels his core sing ‘she’s nice and pretty and safeSAFEsafeSAFE’ he tries to reach out to her but his arms fell numb and ouchie and he looks up to her, in a silent plea for her so she would carry him but she’s not moving, just looking at him gently.

Until he sees another woman coming closer to them and he tenses up again, afraid and cautious, still a bit frightened by her aura but her hands are starting to glow and he immediately feels his body swaying and feeling a lot better, so he relaxes his body and let’s the pretty woman carry him so he can rest his head and nuzzle asleep.

His core sings pleased ‘I’m safe… she’s nice and safeSAFEsafeSAFE’
