🌸🌿skinny lifestyle - balanced mind🌿🌸
~Being skinny is a lifestyle, not a challenge. It won’t come naturally and working hard is essential, so here are daily habits to build and to stay disciplined~
Your motivation WILL fade at some point. That’s when discipline and habits come in and you keep you in line.


1. 10k steps a day
It’s such a peaceful and efficient habit to start your day.
It helps you to stay lean, tone your body and burn some calories. Walking is low-stress, aids digestion and reduces bloating.
I love getting my steps in first thing in the morning. If that’s not possible just break it into chunks - morning, lunch break, evening walks or just whenever fits you💗



2. portion control > restriction
Labeling food as good and bad is so exhausting. The more you restrict yourself the more you tend to break your set up rules and binge.
Eat what you enjoy, just not excessively. Stay within your calories. Plan your meals.
You can use smaller plates, chew slowly, drink inbetween/before/after and avoid mindless eating in front of screens.
3. Gut Health Basic
I will die on this hill. Your gut health affects everything. Your whole body. Digestion, skin, energy and mood.
Healing your gut is essential and can you help drop weight.
Include probiotic foods: yogurt, kefir, kimchi, sauerkraut
Add prebiotics: oats, bananas, garlic, onions
Stay hydrated and reduce ultra-processed food, track what causes bloating or discomfort - everyone’s gut is different.


4. extra secret - blood sugar
Keeping my blood sugar level balanced helped me loose the last few pounds.
Eating high-sugar or fast-digesting carbs spikes your blood glucose and your insulin rushes in. Your blood sugar crashes and you will be hit with cravings, fatigue and irritability.
Stable blood sugar = fewer cravings, more energy.
When you eat balanced meals and and glucose enters your bloodstream slowly, your insulin stays in check.
= you stay full longer, crave less and burn fat more efficiently
Eating in the right order can help achieve that (first fiber, then protein/fat, then carbs)
~~Also, my recommendation would be Berberine !!
It’s a supplement working as a natural insulin-sensitizer and helps with glucose control. You’ll feel more energetic and can loose weight easily by burning fat more efficiently
~ You don’t need to cut carbs — you need to control how your body processes them.
It’s not “eat less” — it’s eat smarter ~

Grounding and low effort after work/uni/school activities
drawing, sketching
coloring books for adults if you dislike sketching but like drawing (and there are so many nice options and themes; and it doesn't have to be an adult one if you like to fulfill your youngest mlp dreams)
meditation, breathwork
comb your hair slowly but thoroughly
light yoga, pilates or even stretching
reading (even if it's 'just' ao3 or manga)
just sitting in the sun (can be combined with breathwork, yoga, reading,...)
taking a hot bath or shower
planning and organizing, cleaning up and preparing (just if you the kind of person that finds this relaxing obvi)
sewing, knitting, crocheting
having a (caffeine-free) 'signature coming-home drink' in a way you also may have in the morning (e.g. smoothie/water with certain drops, salts etc.)
praying, other religious or spiritual practice
go for a walk
full body gua sha
going full into that niche hobby
acupressure mat
spending time with pets, family or friends

A little about me: My name is Steph. I am a nature lover, herbal enthusiast, 25 year old mom of one who traded the everyday hustle of being an Entrepreneur boss woman in the busy city of Durham NC for a slower pace rooted in authenticity. My journey into clean organic living started when I was 10 years old. My mom was what you call an "almond mom" always fit, always eating a handful of almonds, fruit, or vegetables. She had my sisters and I scheduled for monthly meetings with a nutritionist to make sure we were 'eating well balanced diets' according to the old school outdated food pyramid. We grew up eating whole nutritious foods and that got me started of reding books and seeking knowledge of actual wellness and the consumption of organic foods. When I turned 17 I transitioned into veganism, at 19 I transitioned to fruitarian, and at 20 I adapted a plant based lifestyle. It's been a wonderful ride of wellness and health ever since. I am not perfect (who is?), but I'm passionate about learning, growing, and sharing what I discover along the way.

Here, you'll find a mix of practical tips, heartfelt stories, and spinkle of earthy inspiration to help you carve out your own version of a natural life. Expect posts about whipping up plant-based meals with ingredients straight from the soil. crafting your own chemical free home essentials, and finding peace in the small everyday moments. I'll also be digging into the why behind it all-why organic matters, why wellness is more than a trend, and why this planet deserves our love and care.

✨how to actually glow up✨
1. drink water
First step to it ALL.
You think you’re drinking enough? Drink more. Water will clear your skin, prevent headaches and improve your health in general.
Your body can’t tell the difference between hunger and thirst, so make sure to drink water.
2. move more
Include simple movements, walks or workouts into your routine.
You don’t necessarily need those 10k steps but MOVE throughout the day. It’ll keep you fit and healthy.
Don’t overdo it and let your body REST. It needs it as well.
3. watch what you’re eating
Fast food, sweets, sugary drinks and else are not it.
I love having my zero drinks but again, NOT TOO MANY.
Actually have food that’s worth your time and energy. Don’t have those empty calories all the time. They won’t fulfill you nor help achieve your goals.
They’ll help you feel good for the moment but not longterm.
Don’t ruin your body’s health BUT make sure to listen to your cravings from time to time.
DONT CUT ''BAD FOOD'' OUT ENTIRELY!!!!!
If you do, I’ll come after you.
4. mindset
Im not a big fan of the ‚idgaf-mindset‘ but at some point I’ll defend it to my death.
You DO NOT give a fuck about others opinions.
BUILD YOUR OWN OPINION, THINK FOR YOURSELF.
BUT you can definitely listen to your closest friends and families opinion. It’s worth it and helpful when they can be more realistic or objective than you can.
Still, at the end of the day, you will pay for your decisions if you just let yourself be manipulated.
It’s your life you’re living and no one will care if it goes downhill.
BE MINDFUL AND CAREFUL.
SET PRIORITIES AND USE YOUR BRAIN
5. you’re a god/goddess
Best thing ever.
What’s the highest version of yourself like? What would she do, how would she react, what or who does she like, would she accept your behavior right now??????
LOVE AND WORSHIP YOURSELF.
You are worth it!
6. your environment
Cut out toxic people.
Dump them.
Get rid of them.
End of story.
7. narcissism can be good. protect your energy
Put yourself first. Always. High above.
Make sure your energy is full and protected. Don’t waste it or loose it on people that don’t deserve it.
The right people will value it and don’t drain your energy.
You are your biggest treasure. Don’t waste a thing on others if they are not worth it.
PUT YOURSELF FIRST.

when you can
start walking or jogging (sprinting even better)
youtube workouts (you'll find literally everything)
and basically every other workout anywhere
use your bike, board, scooter
walk your dog/pet (or someones)
swim in a lake or the sea in the summer ( ONLY!!! if it's allowed and safe to do so at that certain place e.g. amoebas, water currents, dangerous animals and NEVER!!! alone)
dance dance dance
do gardening (if you have the possibility)
have a physically demanding job (not recommend lol, but also not to be underestimated)
weight training with diy weights (e.g. water bottle)
do rope jumping
Getting fit and healthy has primary nothing to do with spending hundreds of pounds on memberships, gear and courses. Yes, they can definetly benefit in getting to know what works for you/what you like,different methods and ways of sport and working out and building up a routine, but to fully change our life to the healthier, we must know that we can and should find joy in movement in many sections in our life that have 0 to do with money or institutions. Every step into a more active life, even the smallest one, is a move into the right direction and should be appreciated by yourself

ׂ╰┈➤ Of course, looks ARE NOT everything in life, but you should try to look as put together as possible in every situation. Use clothes and hairstyles that fit you well, wear perfume, jewelery and accessories, try to have well maintained nails and skin
ׂ╰┈➤ Become well organised by always preparing for a situation ahead of time
ׂ╰┈➤ Experiment with cooking or baking, with your make up/hairstyle, and try out new places or hobbies too!
