I want to go to a gay bar
However I do not want to go to a gay bar because I do not, nor will I ever, drink alcohol. I do not particularly want to be around drunks.
So instead of a gay bar, I propose a Queer Cat Cafe.
Hypoallergenic cats ofc
There's a section of the cafe where the cats can't go if you don't want cats near you. That section is the library.
There are lil pride flags everywhere, even the obscure ones.
They sell pride pins for £1.50ish each at the counter.
There are LED lights.
It's autism friendly, lights can be toned down if needed and everything is neatly spaced out
You can have a sticker to write your pronouns on
Mostly queer artists/songs played
feel free to add on

HEY! HEY YOU
if you like using microlabels and feel like they fit you better so that's what you use, YOU ARE VALID!
if you don't like using microlabels and prefer the general labels because that what you feel like fits you better, YOU ARE VALID!
remember, its YOUR box and YOU are the only one who gets to choose how you identify and what labels you use!

Canon ace characters 🤝 canon bi characters
Getting erased and if we complain about it we're the ones having "headcanons" and stirring trouble because theirs is clearly the superior interpretation -.-

We don't talk about platonic marriages enough
I am bisexual. My partner is aroace. We are in a queerplatonic relationship. We have been together for around 4 years and got engaged a little over 2 years ago. We don't do romantic things (we do sometimes, but not usually.) and we don't do sexual things. There's no romance, but we love each other. It is 100% platonic.
But I ALWAYS feel the need to clarify this with people we meet that, it's not "oh haha we were best friends for so long we just decided to get married teehee"
NO
It's still love. We live for each other. We would die for each other. We are attached at the hip. We are each others most important thing in the entire world. Just because we don't kiss or have sex doesn't mean it's not love.
I LOVE my fiance in ways words can't explain. And they love me just the same.
Just because it's not romantic doesn't make it any less of a relationship.
Just because it's not sexual doesn't make us any less engaged.
I am going to marry my fiance, my best friend, the love of my life, and I need people to know that it's not because we couldn't find anyone else. It's not because we said we would if we were still single at X years old. It's not a trend or a phase or anything like that.
I'm going to marry them because I LOVE them.
@novelcain <3
(update since this is gaining traction again: we're married now!! :D)

"I'm ply, coz I'm attracted to all genders." Valid!!
"I'm pan, coz I'm attracted to all genders." Valid!!
"I'm omni, coz I'm attracted to all genders." Valid!!
"I'm bi, coz I'm attracted to all genders." Valid!!
"I don't have a label, but I'm attracted to all genders." Valid!!
You're all valid!! (And anyone who says you're not should go choke on a cactus.)

biphobia is everywhere no matter where you look. people who are not bi love to create very rigid definitions of what bi "does" or "should" mean but nobody ever listens to how bi people define it. every bi person defines their bisexuality differently from the next person. most bisexual people will gladly tell you what being bi means for them, but nobody wants to listen to that. there are as many expressions of bisexuality as there are bi people on this earth. everyone experiences it a bit differently and that's okay- but you have to actually listen to us in order to get an idea of what that means and looks like. you can't just speak over and for us and expect to get a remotely accurate idea of what bisexuality actually means and looks like to bisexuals.

Asexual people don’t owe you modesty
Aromantic people don’t owe you proof
Non-binary people don’t owe you androgyny
Unlabelled people don’t owe you a label
Trans people don’t have to present as their gender
Bi/Pan/Omni people don’t have to have had dated or slept with an equal amount of genders
QUEER PEOPLE DON’T OWE YOU ANYTHING! ✨💅

Comment any I missed, I plan to do genders like Demi-gender, agender or gender-fluid + sexualities like gay and lesbian. 🌈🫶🏻

grey ace bi wallpapers!
requested by @gardeninthevoid
Greysexual: Sexual attraction is rare and/or mild. Often used as an umbrella term for people who think/know they're on the asexual spectrum, but don't know exactly where. An acespec identity that can be combined with other identities (greybisexual, etc) or used as an identity of its own. Also known as greyasexual, grey asexual, and grey ace (occasionally shortened to grace)
Bi: Attraction to two or more genders; Attraction to same and different genders
