Dad!Cod Scenarios

I had thoughts on these racked up in my brain about CoD characters having kids and what type of parents they'd be in a scenario or drabble manner.

❥ Dad!John Price is the type of dad who'd fondly tell your kids about how you met, tell them stories about his time in the army, his experiences with their uncles and aunts from 141. Enjoying how their little faces express something great, admiring how cool their dad was for being so brave to constantly and willingly put his life on the line in the means of saving people. They tried telling him that they want to follow in his footsteps but that is a big no no. The last thing he wants is them willingly throwing themselves in danger and the risk was far too much.

❥ Dad!Johnny MacTavish is the type of dad to make his kids laugh by blowing raspberries on whatever body part his kids are ticklish on, he enjoys hearing their laughter and giggles. Definitely is the man who grew up with quite a big family so he'd love to have a full house if you were up to having it with him. He's such a family man to the bone, knows how things work around and mostly knows what to say and do when it comes to the kids.

❥ Dad!Kyle Garrick is the type of dad to dance with his kids, letting them have their little feet on top of his, letting them pick the music and guiding the little one. Having them smile and look up at him, his little one thinking it was just the best thing in the world to spend quality time with their dad. Swaying them around while they call him giggling, letting out squeals after he spins them. (I NEED GIRL DAD!GAZ 🥺😭)

❥ Dad!Simon Riley is the type of dad who absolutely HATES it when his kids cry, always doing his best to console them, depending on what made them upset. Being the one to patch them up when it's because of a "boo-boo", god forbid it's because of another person, he'd either make that kid piss themselves or that adult will NEVER see the light of day again. Because of that, the little one always finds themselves looking for their dad's comfort.

❥ Dad!Gary Sanderson who is the type of dad who finds so many ways to make his kid feel appreciated, whether that'd be through letting them help out and make them feel needed, thanking them and returning the favor for handmade gifts on days like Father's day or Valentine's day. The little one is always so eagerly awaiting for their dad to come home, knowing he'd be bearing so meaningful gift that goes in the memory box.

❥ Dad!Alejandro Vargas who is the type of dad who's strict but also not at the same time. Safe to say he did not have fun when Soap taught his kid to curse in Spanish when he first met the kid, that was probably Alejandro's fault for teaching Soap Spanish curses anyway. That kid is going to be loved I tell you, Alejandro has taken them to work just so they can see what he does and safe to say they loved being around everyone that Alejandro works with. (More likely that they still do this together however Alejandro is VERY strict since it's dangerous for the kid to even be out there)

❥ Dad!Rodolfo Parra who is the type of dad whose domestic, he has many memorabilias and scrapbooks of his kid's milestones, even kept the teeth that fell out. Always finding ways to spend time with the kids, whether it'd be through something as simple but meaningful as teaching them Spanish or taking them out to eat. His kids love and adore him, finding that the best time they spend with him is when he lets them talk about their day, listening in and validating their thoughts.

❥ Dad!König who is the type of dad who finds himself absolutely terrified that he's responsible for such a tiny thing. He's extremely protective of them, seeing his little kid whimper and point at something that caused them pain (even if it was by their own accord), König finds himself comforting the little one by soothing their crying and kicking whatever inanimate object it was just to make them feel better. He already hurt himself once or twice doing that and it did make his kid laugh, anything that makes them happy right?

❥ Dad!Kim Hong-Jin who is the type of dad whose a bit irresponsible at times, he tends to roughhouse with his kid a lot. There's definitely a lot of physical and playful activities with him in the means of spending time. He doesn't mean anything by it, just quality time, his kid is one of the reasons behind him stopping his gambling addiction. He wanted to set an example for them. The last thing he wants is for his kid to remember him by something negative so he does his best to spend time with them a lot despite him getting deployed.

Sidenote: I wrote this at 1 am and it was fun but my eyes hurt now, I have plans to go out tomorrow with a friend. Now regarding your guys' requests, ISTG I'm not ignoring you guys, I'm just not in the right headspace to write them except for a few I'm currently working on.

Had to get a Very Large Roach off the ceiling in my kitchen and shrieked when it started flying.

Now, for unrelated reasons, I am writing a ballad about a Very Grand and Brave Knight, slayer of Dragons and Fearsome Beasts, who disappeared after encountering a single bug.

Never mind what kind it was, that isn't important to the plot.

something people don’t ever seem to understand is that i could be bitten or stung a billion times by a wasp and it wouldn’t make me hate them.

i’ve been bitten by dogs, outright mauled by cats. no one seems to find it confusing when i explain that despite these experiences i still love cats and dogs with every fiber of my being.

no one finds it at all acceptable to ruthlessly murder a litter of kittens because one of them bit you. yet destroying wasp nest for nothing at all is commonplace.

we squash, suffocate, drown, and destroy all the little things that unnerve us. because they don’t provide for us something we deem valuable enough to keep them alive.

it’s time for people to start feeling bad about killing bugs. time for people to start to care. for ‘animal lovers’ to love all animals. for ‘save the bees’ to be ‘save the insects’.

insects are dying out. they are going extinct. their homes and natural habitats are being destroyed, mowed to death, broken up by pavement and stone and brick and plastic.

if you care about the environment, if you care about your life, and the lives of your children and their children after them -

Ghost putting up glow in the dark stars above his bed because he gets nostalgic about sleeping under the stars sometimes. Ghost having a nightlight so he can see his surroundings and make sure he's not back in that coffin when he wakes up from a nightmare. Ghost keeping a fan on in his room at all times to stop the ringing in his ears. Ghost only being able to sleep if another member of the 141 are in the room with him. Ghost who secretly enjoys cuddling and being held, but only Soap, Roach, and Price get the honors of being able to even touch him for prolonged periods of time. Ghost who cries when overwhelmed and overstimulated, but blames it on allergies or sweat.

NikPrice who are trying desperately to have date night but keep getting interrupted by their children asking questions through the ring camera

The worst part is that the questions start before the couple even leaves the house.

Nik is styling his hair and John is grabbing everything they need to head out when they both get the first ring notification of many to come.

Alex: I’m heading to Tesco, do you guys need anything?

John, over the speaker: No, we’re good, lad. Maybe ask your siblings.

Alex: Will do. Have fun on your date!

The next comes seconds before Nik pulls out of the driveway.

Gary: Did you buy any apple juice yesterday? Also, if there’s free bread at the restaurant, you should steal some.

John: Gary, we’re right behind you, you didn’t need to use the camera.

Gary: *looks at his dads in the car and then back at the camera, staring deeply into it*

John, sighing: Yes, there’s apple juice in the pantry. And we’ll try and bring home some breadsticks.

Gary: Okay! Bye, love you!! *runs back inside*

They manage to get seated at the restaurant before the next notification goes through.

Simon: Hey dads, can Johnny and I take Captain for a drive?

John is about to turn on the microphone and give a firm ‘absolutely not’ when Simon starts talking again.

Simon: I’m gonna take your silence as a ‘yes.’ Bye dads, see you later!

Before either man can react, he and Captain are sprinting off the porch and hopping into Johnny’s waiting car.

Nik, chuckling: When did that boy get so bold?

John, exasperated: I’m entirely blaming this behavior on you. You’ve always had a penchant for giving me headaches.

Nik just laughs louder.

After that, a new alert pops up consistently every 10 to 15 minutes. And everytime it’s something that very easily could have been said over text.

Gaz asking if a few of his football mates could come over to play video games.

Farah and Valeria arguing over which movie to should watch and trying to get another opinion.

Gary trying to convince them that he should be able to have more pet cockroaches.

Alex asking if his running leg would look more impressive to his crush (even though it’s really not meant for regular walking).

The fathers look at each video message with fond but very tired sighs. Their next date is definitely going to be a ‘no phones’ affair.

Their phones ding once again as they’re handed the check. It’s Simon, and he’s holding Captain up to the camera like the massive dog weighs nothing.

Simon: Captain wants ice cream. But, he’s a dog, and therefore has no money, so…

John doesn’t even answer, he just sends Si £20.

Si stands at the doorbell until he gets the notification that the money went through.

Simon: Thanks dad! Love you!! *he runs back to the car*

After that, all is quiet. And that makes both men very suspicious. When they get home, the house is still and quiet. Which is incredibly suspicious.

Worried that their children have someone managed to murder each other in the hour and a half that they were gone, they approach the house with caution. John is tense when they reach the door, and it almost feels like he’s back in his military days again, about to breach an enemy’s safe house.

He unlocks the door and lets it slowly swing open. Once he catches sight of the living room, he’s almost brought to tears.

The two large living room couches have been pushed together and piled high with blankets and pillows. The coffee table holds their favorite ice creams and wine, and the tv is cued up with a movie they’ve been meaning to watch for ages.

Nik turns to John with tears in his own eyes, but is cut off by the ring camera.

The image that greets them is all of their kids standing out on the porch.

Alex: We know we kept bothering you guys during dinner, so we thought we’d make dessert a little more peaceful.

Farah: Si, Gary, and Gaz are staying at Johnny’s. Alex is coming with me to Valeria’s. Enjoy your night. We love you.

A chorus of ‘love yous’ can be heard and then they head off their separate ways.

Nik, wrapping his arm around John: Those sneaky little shits. They must have used the back door.

John, giving Nik a kiss on the cheek: Maybe we should get a camera for out there too. The first one turned out to be a pretty good purchase.

I hate those Hobie ship fics/fanarts/headcanons where Hobie's partner is potrayed as being offput by his looks but warming up to him once they get to know him because it's just the writers/artists projecting onto to them that they think Hobie is ugly but 'makes up for it' by having 'a nice personality'.'If i met Hobie i'd be intimidated at first but then talk to him and realize he's not defined by his looks!!!'What's wrong with what Hobie looks like.Why would he need to 'prove' to you or whoever you ship him with he's not grotesque and hard to look at and that 'it's what on the inside that counts'.Quickly🫰🏼🫰🏼🫰🏼!!!

if cTubbo was transmasc, during Manburg cSchlatt (despite being a cis man) would steal some of his Minecraft Testoterone Shots because he would think that it would help him "Get Huge" and that would be one of the leading factors to Schlatt dying of a heart attack btw

I love that AFO can manipulate his appearance, it's so great to me... It makes me wonder if that's what his appearance now is, a manipulation. I like to think that he made small changes to make himself look more 'demon king' like. Like getting rid of his pupils as an example.

I like to think that his nature eye color isn't white, but green like his brother's, and obviously that he has a crap ton of freckles (can you really expect me not to though...) And he's always hated them because they make him look 'soft', (I've never seen an intimidating person with freckles.)

Izuku being born with his freckles is the only reason he's ever liked them; he loves them actually.

And I love the idea of AFO always saying that Izuku got his eye color from his uncle, when in reality Izuku got it from both AFO and his brother.

I think AFO held his brother on a pedestal, relying on him solely to meet his emotional needs while Yoichi relied on AFO for his physical needs. AFO degrades his brother, but that's a mask, much like the rest of his exterior, to show that he has nothing of importance to lose. And with that, I feel like AFO, who forced himself to play the monster his entire life for survival, doesn't believe he deserves to share Yoichi's eyes.

Yoichi's eyes are kind, warm, so are Izuku's. And AFO has never seen himself as either, in his mind he's only ever seen himself as a monster, nothing remotely close to human, incapable of human emotion.

So, instead, he says that Izuku solely got his eyes from Yoichi... Because they're kind and human and he isn't.
