Drink at least 2 bottles (or more) of water each day. Staying hydrated can boost energy levels, aid body in breaking down waste & help clear your skin by flushing out toxins!
Make your bed first thing in the morning - because a clean space can lead to a clean mind!
Do a quick 3-to-10-minute cardio workout 4-5x a week. Doing so can boost your mood and confidence while helping you build consistency. This habit can pave the way for exercising more often and for longer periods, contributing to your overall glow-up journey!
Meditate for 5 minutes or more. Doing so grounds you in the present moment and helps you tune into thoughts or physical feelings you might be ignoring. It's a simple way to relax and melt away stress.

before we start, you want longterm process. So form habits. Become disciplined.
No crash-diet means no jojo-effect. No crash-diet means actual progress that doesnt go to waste.

2. diet
No matter how much you move, if your diet is not sitting right, you wont slim down. Over time you have to include healthy and nutritious options into your diet.
~small bowl of veggies, before breakfast
(such as cucumber, bell pepper, carotts, tomatos. That way your bloodsugar levels wont come crushing down midday)
~breakfast should include something that keeps you full. Dont skip it. People who eat breakfast tend to loose more weight and be slimmer.
(Porride, Eggs, Avocado, etc)
I usually include: Oatmeal, Chia sees, Berries and one Banana
~try not to snack, keep going for three meals a day
~eat whole foods, eat clean and make sure to dont neglect your protein-intake
(protein keeps us full and satisfied. Also, you want to loose fat, not muscle)
~cut out sodas and liquid calories!!!
such a waste. go for the light options with 0-2kcal. They taste the same, if not better.

Normally, I work out every day in some way.
Cardio, strenght, pilates or just a walk outside.
Moving your body, keeping it toned and flexible, helps your mood, your health and your overall life.
On top, it burns calories.
Build some muscle and loose some fat. Thats how you get your dream body.
Here are my favorite channels, that I workout to daily:

I tend to have ginger shots to boost my immune system and overall health. They are also very good for your skin and can give you a natural glow.

Your gut health is a game changer. You get less break outs and you can loose weight faster.
You can heal your gut through your diet and order some probiotics.
~castor oil
I live and breathe castor oil.
Usually I apply it before bed on my lashes, hair and skin. It helps with hair growth, skin protection and hydration. Its also very good for debloating and detox, if you put it into your belly button.

sick? her? she still has to do silco's dirty work, she doesn't have time to be sick- or weak in any form
sevika absolutely overworks herself when she's sick, i said what i said. she practically doesn't believe in weakness, and thinks she can just "push through" the natural way
she can be so stubborn about self care, it genuinely makes you want to scream
there isn't exactly good healthcare in the undercity, but she absolutely seems like the type to take 15 advil and call it a day. she might evn try taking shimmer to "boost her immune system" pls stop her
you have to practically force her to bed, sevika could be seconds away from collapse and still claim that she's "fine", but with enough pleading she'd take a break
it isn't long before she just passes out though
at first, sevika would be a liiitle bit irritated at your worries, claiming that she can handle herself, but feels bad once she realizes how much you genuinely care. she does NOT have an appetite when she's sick but would, begrudgingly, at least try to eat if you asked
she gets headaches a lot. this is just a personal hc, but i really feel like she would get a bunch of tension headaches. sevika HATES them so much, and would be really appreciative of massages
its one of the few ways to actually get her to relax when she's feeling unwell, just say a few sweet words and start rubbing her upper back and she'll practically melt (but she'll never admit it ;)
sevika isn't used to having someone take care of her, and will try her best to make it up to you
that being said, she's not above trapping you in bed with her all day for cuddles- she doesn't care about germs, she just wants you close to her
i feel like she wouldn't be the talkative type when she's sick, and would be a lot more affectionate. you are NOT leaving the bed, she's practically clinging to you with her arm thrown over your body
will respect your wishes to not kiss on the mouth, and gives you a lot of forehead and hand kisses
she has an adorable sneeze. i think it's hilarious when tough, strong characters just have this adorable chipmunk sneeze.
pretty pliant when it comes to taking medicine and other forms of healing, and once she isn't sick anymore she definitely pampers you (more than usual) to pay you back
"y'dont have to do that, doll," Sevika murmurs as you massage her neck, her voice raspy from exhaustion. "i know, but i want to," you reply, gently kissing the top of her head as you apply some more pressure to her spine. she sighs, leaning backwards into your touch ever so slightly. the chair she's sitting on creaks as you continue your ministrations, relaxing all of the knots in her muscles and working away at all of the excess tension. Sevika suddenly inhales sharply and you pause, worrying that you hurt her, only for her to sneeze softly. "oh my god Sev..."
"don't start."
"was that your sneeze?" Sevika grumbles, turning away from you as you giggle. "its so cute! who would've known..."
"shut up."
"aww, but you love me, don't you Sev?" Sevika sighs, turning around to face you on the chair. she gently grabs your face, pulling you down to her level where she kisses your forehead. "f'course i do, brat. now shut up and finish my massage, i'm tired." you chuckle again at her prickly attitude before giving a mock salute. "yes ma'am!" Sevika mutters a few words under her breath that sound suspiciously like brat, and not cute, but turns around and eases back into your touch anyways. her back muscles ripple as you supply relief to her sore spots.
fuck, what a woman. how you pulled her you will never know. Sevika suddenly bursts into a coughing fit, chest heaving slightly as she leans forward to steady herself. "shit, that doesn't sound pleasant," you say, and Sevika merely turns and rolls her eyes. "when's the last time you've slept?" you ask accusingly, and Sevika, failing to supply you with an acceptable answer, proceeds to stand up and follow you as you practically drag her to bed.
"you, my dear, need rest". you accentuate the last word, and watch as your lover smirks at you. "only if you join me," she quips, and you don't even hesitate before crawling into bed next to her. your so weak for her, it isn't even funny. Sevika pulls you close, your back up against her chest and her arm thrown across your body. you can feel her breathe on your neck, and you swear you hear her say, "i love you".
"what was that, Sev?" you tease, already feeling exhaustion weigh on your eyelids. "go to sleep," she grumbles, pressing a hasty kiss to the back of your neck.
"i love you too."

Things you should be doing to live well.
If you struggle a lot with your health or generally aren't feeling well, I'm very sorry, and I hope I can help a little bit. This post is for everyone, even those who are just fine but looking to keep it that way.
Check-ups
Even if it's just once every 2 years, you've got to go give the healthcare system some money and check in with your doctor. This is especially true if you have (Or had) chronic health issues in the past.
Ask for:
Blood pressure (You can get this free at most pharmacies as well)
(You might think 'No, I never eat fast food, and eat mostly plants / am vegan' especially then!! Low blood pressure can cause fatigue, fainting, and a generally bad mood.)
Blood sugar levels
B12, Iron (Aren't usually tested at checkups, but I would recommend if you have deficiency symptoms or problems with undereating)
Calcium and vitamin D
Cholesterol levels (Assess risk of heart disease)
Complete blood count: checks for infections, anaemia or blood disorders
Thyroid, liver and kidney function test
Skin check (This applies to every skin colour. Skin cancers aren't exclusive to white people.)
(AFAB) Breast exam
(AFAB) Hormone panel
By the way, I'm also not a doctor. My highest medical qualification is 10th Grade biology. Please, discuss with your doctor what tests would be necessary for you.
Cardiovascular training
I hate cardio so much. Or, I used to, before I found a sport I enjoy that involves a lot of it but is still fun. If you like running, good on you! If you're like me, and need a lot of motivation and encouragement to get on a treadmill, here are some reasons why you should:
Heart health: you might think, 'This isn't a good enough reason. I am young, thin and never had to worry about fat in my coronary arteries.' So, how long do you want to live? Until 40? 50? Cardiovascular diseases are the number 1 cause of death on the entire planet.
Weight loss / management: cardio doesn't just burn calories, but also boosts your metabolism. If you're not into weight loss, remember boosted metabolism -> more energy.
Mood improvement: endorphins, baby. Cardio relieves stress, anxiety and depression, and we could all do with that.
Better sleep: fall asleep faster, wake up early and feeling refreshed.
Cognitive enhancement: exercise aids memory, focus, and creativity.
And here are some ideas how you can do it:
'Running sports': soccer, hockey, rugby, netball, basketball, volleyball, tennis, squash. Give humans a ball and a stick, and they're entertained for centuries.
Jumping rope: easy, convenient and heavy dose of cardio.
Swimming, running, cycling, or all three in quick succession
Hiking: adds a dose of nature
Dancing: I LOVE those K-pop dance workouts on youtube. 10/10 (If I'm alone in my room and nobody can see me)
15 minutes of sunlight
If you're like me and downright scared of UV rays, you need this. Why?
Vitamin D: A vitamin only absorbed by sunlight, which absorbs calcium and strengthens bones and the immune system. You're more likely to get a deficiency if you use sunscreen properly, and I think this applies to my audience (Love you guys)
If you're deficient in vitamin D, you might feel very fatigued and have muscle and/or bone pain.
Adjusts your circadian rhythm: This might not apply to those who get up very early, but sunlight directly after waking up is probably the best thing to do if you want to feel refreshed in the morning and sleepy at the appropriate time in the evening.
Supports metabolism: Natural sunlight aside, it's even debated among nutritionists whether vitamin D suppresses appetite and aids weight loss.
Healthy drink swaps
Food swaps are cool. What's even cooler is not just paying attention to what you eat, but what you drink as well.
Coffee for the caffeine → green or black tea There are so many forms of these teas. Matcha, herbal green tea, Ceylon... They are so loved because they give you that caffeine fix while being hydrating and not disturbing sleep or having a 'Crash'.
Coffee for the warmth and creaminess -> Rooibos or Earl Grey (Milk teas) with honey
Store-bought fruit juice -> Homemade green juices or orange juice If you have a juicer, don't sleep on it. Store-bought juice often contains sugar, which surprised me so much? They are also many times reconstituted concentrates, which just means they have been boiled at high heat to remove the water, then re-diluted with less water elsewhere. This has the side effect of killing (Denaturing) enzymes in the juice, and vitamins are just enzymes. If you don't have a juicer, use a blender and strain.
Soft drinks -> hibiscus, rose hip, grapefruit etc. iced tea Be sure to make it yourself, or purchase from a brand you trust not to add sugar or preservatives. I cannot stress enough how important it is to say no to these drinks.
Sports drinks -> infused water Try lemon, strawberries, mint, cucumber (My favourite) or blueberries.
Hot chocolate -> Matcha latte Here's another tip: if you want to treat yourself to a nice drink but don't want to have stomach problems or break out afterwards, try buying expensive mineral water. This may sound stupid, but trying out different bottled water and judging them like a fine wine is great fun to me.
Prioritising sleep
Here are some tips to fall asleep faster at night:
Don't consume any media (Read, watch movies/shows/Youtube) for a short time before going to bed: this helps my brain to 'Quieten down' a little bit. It happens in much the same way your brain feels like noodle soup after binge-watching youtube shorts for four hours while depressed, just on a smaller scale. If you stuff yourself with content before sleeping, you won't be able to let go as easy.
Have low light levels around you throughout the evening: circadian rhythm again. If you need to be on a device, turn the brightness way down and put on a blue light filter.
Comfort: Lavender essential oil, soft animals and candlelight are some of the things that could help you wind down in the evening.
Light stretches: especially if you've done exercise the day before. Focus on your shoulders and back, legs and neck, as these are the most commonly stressed muscles in everyday life. This *really* helps.
Brown noise / White noise / Theta waves: If you have not tried putting on non-melodic binaural beats or static while sleeping or meditating, you are missing out big-time. No scientific evidence this time, just take my word and go listen to pure theta waves.
Proper hygiene (TW: talk of germs)
We all shower, put on antiperspirant and brush our teeth (I hope). But these things might be equally important and not talked about enough.
Disinfect devices: use a lens cleaning wipe to clean screens and keyboards. Especially if you touch your face often. When you transfer germs from phones or laptops to your face or food, you are essentially giving them a free ride to your body.
The same counts for door handles, faucets and toilet handles. Use an antibacterial disinfectant to kill those germs.
Changing your pillowcase every two days: this is more an acne thing than a protect-your-immune-system thing, but even then, using the same pillowcase you smear residual skincare, makeup, drool and tears on every night is nasty.
Washing your hands before eating, cooking, after using the bathroom and after coming home from a public area
Getting a new toothbrush every month, and washing it after every use with hot water
Vacuum-cleaning the walls: Y'all. There's dust on your walls. Go wipe your finger on it, test the hypothesis. You do not want to breathe that in every day.

• If you have the chills or are just cold, he will use his element to help you warm up. Just cuddle with him for a bit, and you'll start to feel better in no time.
• If you're worried about him getting sick, there's a high chance he'll laugh at you. He's a ghoul, baby. He won't get sick that easy. You don't have to worry about him.

• He will help you with anything and everything. You have chores to do, he's on it. You need something from the store, sweetheart, he's already there. You just need your meds, he's got them and a glass of water plus some food for you to have with it.
• He's so helpful and so so sweet. He's got everything you may need. A damp cloth if you have a fever, a blanket if you have chills (and himself, of course), a bucket just in case, any type of meds you may need. He loves you and wants you to get better as soon as possible.
• Please cuddle with him so he knows you're not going anywhere. He fears that, because you're a human, you may get worse, and he's practically terrified at the thought of losing you.
• He may read to you if you ask nicely, especially if you like classic literature, then he may be persuaded. (I fucking love classic literature so now everyone had to suffer because of it.)
• He will also take you to the lake during the day when it's warm. You can relax in the water and get some sun, it's a win-win.
• All together, Rain is a sweetheart and will do anything and everything in his power to make sure you have a speedy and smooth recovery.

• He makes sure you're doing okay, and his way of doing this is not leaving your side. He basically makes sure you don't leave until you're all better again, even if you do just have a common cold.
• Will put on a movie/show and cuddle with you to try and help you feel better.
• He may even play his guitar when he's with you. Just rest and let him play (show off).
• If you end up puking he's the type of guy to pull you hair back (if it's long enough) and rub your back while telling you it's all going to be okay and you'll start to feel better soon.
• He almost likes knowing that you can get sick. It reminds him that you're a human and that no matter what, you always will be. He loves that about you, even if you're sick. He rarely ever gets sick, so it comforts him knowing that you do.

• Will also take you to sit out in the sun with him, you need your vitamins after all, and what better way to get them than to cuddle in the sun with him?
• Another guy who helps you out if you have to puke, he will even help you clean up after. Don't worry if it's gross. It's natural for humans to get sick like this. He understands and wants to help you with it. He can also, if you're okay with it, of course, because consent is key, bathe you. He doesn't want anything sexual to come from it, just you two spending some time together.
• He encourages you to nap/sleep more. You need your rest! He also just likes to nap with you, but that's not the point.

“Say, Y/n,” your boss’ voice melts over the sound of his office, computer fans and clicking keys, “you consider yourself smart, right?”
Is that some kind of trick? Did you mess something up? No, you couldn’t have. 
“Remarkably intelligent,” you retort, eyes not looking up from data. His newest algorithm on VoxFlix is rolling out perfectly, and your finishing touches on it are making new subscribers flooding in. 
“Would you consider yourself skilled?”
Definitely a game he’s playing; you can see he’s in the same data set as you. He’s seeing what you’re seeing. Your eyes flicker up above your VoxPad, but not to him.
“In all the ways that count, sir,” you sigh, feigning annoyance but interested in where he’s taking this. 
“Hardworking?”
“As hard as I can be without a chair of my own,” you quip, making a jab at his poor planning skills. Vox has you standing over his shoulder almost all day, following him to meetings, standing in the background of presentations. You’re glad you’re already dead or your feet would be killing you. Vox just laughs.
“You think you’re funny?” 
Oh, just from that tone you know you got him. This has just become a tennis match, back and forth.
“Incredibly witty,” you tilt your head towards him, and close out the document you were viewing, “and maybe a bit charming too.”
Vox leans over his desk, now entering your space. You can’t help but lean closer too, your body reacting to him. It’s not a secret your boss is one of Hell’s most handsome eligible bachelors, and you are not immune to the effects of that fact. His eyes are trained on you, sharp and bright; his full focus on you. 
“Pretty?” he asks, and strikes a nerve. 
“Enough to get by,” you deflect, “What’s with all the questions, sir? This an interview?”
You’re not sure if you should be this flippant with a dangerous man like Vox, but it rolls off the tongue naturally, as it has since your first meeting with him. 
“Yeah,” He smiles, “I’m making sure you aren’t gunning for my job.”
Your eyes flicker down to the sharp corner of his smile, the way it grows under your attention.
“I wouldn’t dream of it sir,” Your smile matches his, and he leans in further. 
Vox catches your lips on his screen, the slight tingle of static at the corners of his mouth. It’s nothing like you thought it would feel like, and yes, you’ve definitely thought about it. You let your mind wonder sometimes when you lean your him against his desk and you swear you see his screen glitch, or when you hand him his mug and your hands touch. Electricity in his touch as he pulls you closer, his hand moving to the back of your head to pull you in closer to him, the two of you bent over opposite sides of the desk to join. His kiss is gentle, but firm; he presses where lips should be against you, and yet his mouth opens, your lips slotting in perfectly. His tongue licks between the seam of your lips, you part them eagerly. 
Vox deepens the kiss, climbing up onto his desk, his free hand throwing his keyboard to the side to make room for his knees, his hand behind your head moving to your back to pull you up and closer to his chest. The hum of fans kicks in, and you smirk as best you can through the kiss. You recognize them as Vox’s fans, his internal cooling system to prevent shutdown. It’s a rush of blood beneath your skin, a pumping racing feeling of an ego boost knowing that simply kissing you made that happen. His other hand comes to your waist, his claws immediately bunching up the fabric of your shift dress to make it rise dangerously high. You let out a moan- fully accidentally. You hadn’t wanted to let Vox know how much you were enjoying it. He breathes against you, hot air pushed from the fan against your neck, and he pulls away fully, his lips and hands leaving you.
When you open your eyes you see him kneeled on his own desk, desperation causing him to move across it for you. Any other demon and you’d find a move like that pathetic, but with Vox it feels hot, powerful and sexy. In his hand is his VoxPad, his thumb swiping before he shoves it your way. 
“I’m not signing a deal with you,” you spit immediately. Always count on an Overlord to spoil a mood, you think. 
“It’s not a deal,” he urges you to read it, and you oblige him to skim it. 
…non disclosure of relations…
…no press…
…strict rules of relations… no others…
“Is this a fucking NDA?” you ask, forgetting any manners or sexiness. That was out the window with this document shoved in your face. 
Vox’s screen flashes, and he looks almost sheepish. He looks embarrassed for even showing it to you. Poor baby.
“It’s not… not an NDA,” his screen stutters with static. Oh, he’s genuinely nervous. You’ve got him. You look him up and down, sizing up your boss perched on his desk, red streaks of shared spit smeared down his screen, his jacket rumpled; a powerful man disheveled. 
You drop the VoxPad to the side, your hands moving back to your boss. You let your fingers walk up Vox’s sleeve, slow and seductive. 
“You still gonna kiss me even if I don’t sign it?” you coo, you really don’t want to sign any paperwork that isn’t your normal work contract.
“Well,” Vox’s screen twitches, and he thinks about it, “I guess I could just… trust you.”
You quirk an eyebrow at him, fingers now dancing around his lapels, then yanking on his bowtie.
“When have I ever given you a reason not to?” you ask, and he just kisses you instead of answering; you’d never crossed or even contradicted him. 
Your tongues lick and lap at each other, static making your hair stand on end, his claws back in the fabric of your outfit. Vox pulls you onto the desk as well, pulling your body flush with his, letting you feel all of him. His hands go immediately to your ass, handfuls he digs into. He’s hard against you, and fuck, you want him. He’s bigger than you’d imagined, you can tell even through clothing. Heat burns through you, flushes to your core. Need floods you unlike the curious want of before. 
You break apart from the kiss with a sharp gasp, not breaking away from his embrace. 
“Fuck,” you pant, “I’ll blow you right here if you never bring up that NDA again.”
Immediately one of his hands leaves your ass to slap around for the VoxPad until finally he grasps it in his claws. 
“Consider it deleted, Doll.”

Thoughts on Scott and Impulse?
Hello Anon! Sorry I took so long to answer this one. I have strong feelings about Scottpulse, so I wanted to be able to answer this ask in a way that conveyed my feelings properly. However, with traveling to and from Thanksgiving backing up a couple of asks and then going straight into my exams afterwards, I haven't had a lot of time to think this one through.
Scottpulse is the physical manifestation of a warm hug. Those two are fairy lights and pillow forts and the default hosts of Friendsgiving for the Americans.
Impulse would get caught up in how pretty Scott is all of the time. He can't wrap his head around how Scott looks so beautiful in every lighting at every angle. He's just so photogenic all of the time. Impulse isn't a big picture taker, but he takes most of the photos Scott posts on social media. Now, Scott knows that he's pretty. He better be pretty. He puts a lot of effort into looking nice, and he enjoys the attention. However, Impulse is so earnest about how gorgeous he finds Scott to be, and it's his sincerity and emotional vulnerability that makes Scott coy.
Scott is the type to have a panic attack during a horror movie, while Impulse acts tough and big and strong. Meanwhile, Scott is totally calm and comfortable during True Crime shows, while Impulse is completely horrified the whole time. Impulse is all "this is REAL LIFE!! You hate the fictional ones, but this is REAL" and Scott's like "yeah but sometimes it just be like that :)".
Not a day goes by where Scott isn't blown away by Impulse's technical knowledge. He loves to watch Impulse work, and Impulse loves to talk Scott through what he's doing. Scott thinks that Impulse's intelligence is so very attractive, even though Scott, himself, has absolutely no idea what's going on the whole time.
Impulse has talked on the Imp & Skizz podcast about wanting to get really into decorating his home for the holidays, especially since he still has young kids. I can imagine Scott being so excited that Impulse wants to decorate and asking Impulse to make a list of everything in his vision. Then, Scott and Impulse buy some of those big blow-up decorations and DIY a bunch of decorations. They're very proud of it.
Additionally, I've seen some art of Wild Life Episode 7 Impulse in blue and orange as a superhero costume, and it's the same shades that Scott picked for his Transporter New Life SMP character, which is also a character that teleports and swaps places with people. All I'm saying is.... boyfriend clothes :)
Most of the time, Impulse is pretty mild when flirting with friends, but I think he would be a very romantic partner to Scott. It might not be entirely in his nature, but he knows how much Scott really appreciates a big gesture now and then. The first time Impulse set up a big thing, it was a romantic dinner with Scott's favorite scented candles, a home cooked meal he knew Scott would like, and a nice bottle of wine. He wore a black button up with long sleeves rolled up to his elbows and brown dress pants. Scott very much had a "am I being seduced right now" moment when he walked in.
Elle (Scott's cat) and Prim (Impulse's dog) love each other. They're attached at the hip. They always greet both Impulse and Scott whenever they get home regardless of whether or not Impulse and Scott have come home together or separately.
They fret over each other like mother hens when one of them is sick. "What are you doing out of bed?!" "Here, this will boost your immune system." "If you need anything, text or call me immediately. No problem is too small. It's what I'm here for." Homemade soup is their love language.
Impulse loves Pitch Perfect and Taylor Swift. I know Scott loves Taylor Swift, and I have no doubt that he's a Pitch Perfect fan. They would listen to Pitch Perfect and Taylor Swift songs all of the time.
Socially, Scott and Impulse are Yin and Yang. Preferring to spend a most of his time with one or two people, Impulse is a little on the quieter side, while Scott tries to spend a little bit of time with everyone. Combined, they get ALL the gossip.
I don't know how to explain this one, but I just feel like the curtains in their bedroom are dark purple and completely opaque. I am extremely set on this headcanon for no reason. I will die on this hill. Sunlight shines in through slivers between the curtains, creating hard shadows that really bring out the colors of the room in the morning. In contrast, Impulse's hair is so soft under Scott's fingers.
I cannot explain why, but I am extremely dead set on their colors being royal purple and gold. That's their wedding color theme. I literally cannot fathom them as any other colors.

my aunt recently got really into this holistic-sounding thing called healing immunity by transfer factors, tied to a very fishy company, 4life. in my understanding, they're preying on the lack of scientific proof that something /doesnt/ work to convince people that it /does/, based on reports of 'clients' that miraculously healed from various conditions from minor allergies to literally cancer, as well as preventing/curing >autism< 💀 problem is, she totally believes this bulshit and is giving them tons of money and trying to get the whole family to try it too
as a biochemist, I was wondering if you ever stumbled across transfer factors, know about any recent research on this field, or know the scientific explanation for why this is a load of baloney

I’m familiar with transfer factors. A transfer factor is a chemical compound (often a protein) that is taken from an organism after it develops immunity against a disease. It’s part of immune cell signaling- it’s how your immune cells talk to each other.
But that’s the issue with pseudoscience. Oftentimes, they take something that has a small fraction of truth to it and then completely invent the rest.
Here’s the rest: transfer factors are often incredibly specific. So specific, in fact, that just two strains of the exact same bacteria could lead to two completely different factors being generated in response to them. Also, two different people infected by the exact same illness could generate different antibodies/transfer factors in response. Your immune system is as unique as your fingerprints.
Even if you took the antibodies/transfer factors from one person immune to a disease and injected them into someone currently afflicted by the disease, there’s no guarantee that it’ll make them immune as well. Cell signaling compounds are essentially words in the language your body uses to communicate with itself- and who knows if other people’s cells speak the same language?
For all you know, that transfer factor is telling your body something it might misunderstand completely. What if it “mishears” what that factor is trying to say? You could trigger an unwanted immune response! And that could potentially be even worse than just developing immunity naturally through exposure.
The field of transfer factors is still rudimentary- all of the real (actually scientific) research on injecting people with transfer factors to boost immunity is still very much in its experimental phase. Any company alleging to sell transfer factors to boost immunity is scamming you. Not even real medical companies are doing that yet, and if they could, they would. You know how money hungry pharmaceutical companies are.
Here’s one thing that’s certain: transfer factors cannot cure non immunity/infection related issues. Autism isn’t caused by a pathogen, how can your body develop an immune response to it when there’s nothing to fight? And regarding cancer, there’s already an existing field to treat cancer using your immune system: it’s called immunotherapy. And that will be given to you by a doctor, not some random company trying to sell glorified supplements. And for allergies? Get some antihistamines and an EpiPen.
The best way to boost your immune system is already available: vaccines. Vaccines prompt your body to make ITS OWN transfer factors and antibodies, which guarantees your cells will understand what those factors mean. And the transfer factors your body makes for itself will always be safer and more effective.
Real science beats pseudoscience.
