Ways I Write a Woman...
➤ Who’s Tired of Being Talked Over
You ever watch someone hold in a scream behind their teeth? That’s her, constantly.
✧ She starts choosing her words like landmines. Each one is sharp, controlled, and timed like a threat. She’s learned that being polite won’t get her listened to, but sounding like you might flip a table will. ✧ She’s mastered the art of the silence that feels loud. Doesn’t fill awkward gaps. Just lets the discomfort sit in the air like smoke. ✧ She explains things with forced calm, the kind that sounds like a teacher asking a second-grade class why the hamster is missing. ✧  She notices interruptions like bruises. She doesn’t react to them anymore, not out loud. But you can bet she counts them. ✧ She repeats herself less. Not because they understood her the first time. Because they never listened anyway. ✧ She’s learned how to weaponize eye contact. Not in a sexy way. In a “I will set this boardroom on fire with my mind” way. ✧ Her voice only shakes when she’s deciding if it’s worth the explosion.
➤ Who’s Been Called ‘Too Much’ Her Whole Life
She isn’t too much. She’s just tired of shrinking for people who were never going to make room anyway.
✧ She says the thing you’re not supposed to say. Then stares at you to see what you’ll do with it. ✧ She’s loud with her laugh, loud with her grief, loud with her love, because if she’s going to be punished for being “extra, she might as well be honest about it. ✧ She over-explains. Over-apologizes. Then catches herself and stops halfway through the sentence. ✧  She tries to “tone it down” and ends up sounding like a censored version of herself, bland, miserable, unfinished. ✧ She edits her texts four times, deletes the paragraph, sends “haha ok :)” instead. ✧ She keeps her hands busy because otherwise they’d be doing something reckless. ✧  She overcompensates with sarcasm and then goes home and wonders if everyone hates her. ✧  She’s loved fiercely. Regretted it more fiercely. ✧  She walks into a room like she owns it, and then spends the entire time wondering if she should have stayed home.
➤ Who Wants to Be Soft but Doesn’t Feel Safe
She's gentle, but that gentleness lives under twenty layers of armor. And most people never even get past the first. ✧  She’s careful with her compliments, she knows how people weaponize kindness. ✧  She keeps her vulnerability behind locked doors and guards them with jokes, sarcasm, and “I’m just tired.” ✧ She’ll comfort others like she was born to do it, but flinch if someone offers her the same. ✧ She avoids mirrors on bad days. Eye contact on good ones. ✧ She cries where no one can see. Car bathrooms. Locked bedrooms. Grocery store parking lots at night. ✧ She doesn’t ask for help. Not because she doesn’t need it, but because the last time she did, it came with a price. ✧ She’s soft with animals, with children, with strangers, but not herself. Never herself. ✧ She daydreams about being taken care of, then immediately gets mad at herself for wanting something so “weak.” ✧ She wants love, but she’s terrified of being known. Because if someone really saw her? What if they didn’t stay?
And if you’re sitting there reading all of that thinking, “God, I don’t even know how to write women like this…” Please know: you’re not alone. Like, really not alone.
Writing female characters in a way that feels true, nuanced, and unapologetically real isn’t just about avoiding clichés. It’s about unlearning everything you were taught about what women are “supposed” to be on the page. It’s about getting underneath the polish. Past the performative strength. Past the “she’s not like other girls” and the “strong but broken” tropes. Past the idea that softness is weakness and rage is unlikable.
So many people struggle with this, not because they don’t care, but because no one ever really taught them how to see women as people first.
A lot of us grew up reading female characters written through a lens that flattened us. Made us background noise, love interests, plot devices, or emotionally bulletproof when we weren’t emotionally unstable. It’s no wonder we’re all trying to figure out how to do better now. I write a Book about How to Write Women that feel Alive... For you.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the chapters ahead, we’re going to unravel that mess, together (Promise). We’ll talk about...
❥ Tropes — the ones worth reclaiming, and the ones you can toss into the fire. ❥ The psychology of a woman — how conditioning, survival, identity, and inner conflict shape her from the inside out. ❥ Female vs. male conflict — not in a “boys suck” way, but in a “our emotional battlegrounds are different and that matters” way. ❥ Expectations — society’s, her own, and how characters shrink or shatter under them. ❥ Emotions as strength — especially the ones she was taught to hide: fear, grief, longing, joy, rage. ❥ Female anger — what happens when she finally stops holding it in. ❥ Archetypes — and how to subvert them without erasing the truths they come from. ❥ Female friendships — no more cardboard “bestie” side characters. ❥ Romantic relationships — what it means when she’s finally seen. Chosen. Or rejected. ❥Mothers, daughters, and sisters — because female relationships deserve more than being backstory. ❥ Dialogue — how she speaks when she’s safe vs. when she’s scared. ❥ Inner conflict and development — her arc isn’t about fixing her. It’s about letting her evolve. ❥ Writing exercises — to help you get past the noise and write from a place that feels real. ❥ A full checklist for writing female OCs — layered, powerful, contradictory, alive.
This isn’t a rulebook. It’s a guide. A toolbox. A comfort blanket. A callout. A reminder that writing women doesn’t have to feel impossible, you just have to be willing to look a little deeper.
So if you’ve ever felt stuck writing a female character… If you’ve defaulted to tropes because you didn’t know how else to make her “interesting”… If you’ve erased her emotions to make her “strong”… Or if you’ve stared at the page wondering why she still doesn’t feel real...This book is for you.
And I promise, by the time you reach the last chapter? You’ll not only know how to write her. You’ll understand her. And maybe even see a little of yourself in the process.
Love u All!!🖤

White Horse - Chapter 15: March 2024
Pairing: Max Verstappen x Isabelle Leclerc (Original Character)
Summary:
Max Verstappen is a World Champion. Isabelle Leclerc is invisible.
She watched her family give up everything for Charles’ career—Arthur’s karting, their father’s savings, even her childhood horse. She understood. She never asked for more.
But Max does. He notices the things no one else does, listens when no one else will, and puts her first in ways she never imagined. With him, she isn’t an afterthought—she’s a choice. And for the first time, she realizes she doesn’t have to be invisible.
Warnings and Notes:
we have now moved on from Charles bashing to bashing his whole family, Discussions of toxic past relationships, talk about loosing a childhood pet, toxic families, Me trying to write therapy sessions.
As always big thanks to @llirawolf , who listens to me ramble

Text Messages: Isabelle Leclerc & Gianpiero Lambiase
Isabelle: Hi GP, Um. This is Isabelle. Belle. Max’s Belle. Sorry for texting you out of nowhere. I hope it’s okay.
GP: Hi Belle. It’s okay. Max talks about you enough that it feels overdue, honestly.
Belle: Oh. Good.
GP: He’s very annoying about it. In a way that’s almost endearing.
Belle: Haha. Sorry.
GP: Don’t apologize. What’s up?
Belle: So… I’m in Bahrain. And I want to surprise Max. Like, sneak into his hotel room before he gets back from practice. Very harmless. Very stealthy. Zero crime.
GP: Did your doctor clear you to travel?
Isabelle: Yes. I have a note and everything.
GP: Because if you’re here without medical clearance and something happens, Max will kill me. And then probably reanimate me and kill me again.
Belle: I promise. I’m cleared. I’ll send you the doctor’s note if you need it.
GP: Good. Because if I was going to help sneak you in, it needed to be a guilt-free crime.
Belle: You’ll help?
GP: Belle, if surprising Max with you magically appearing in his hotel room gets him to stop moping around like a man whose soul was ripped out, I will personally carry you upstairs myself if needed.
Belle: You’re very good at emotional blackmail. I respect that.
GP: I learned from the best. (Max.)
Belle: Okay. I’m at the hotel now. Should I just wait nearby?
GP: Yeah. Give me 10 minutes. I’ll text you when the coast is clear.
Belle: Thank you, GP. Really. I know you didn’t have to.
GP: You’re good for him. That’s all I need to know.
***
The hallway was dim and quiet when Max stepped out of the elevator, still half in race mode — muscle memory from practice laps thrumming through his veins, sweat drying at the back of his neck.
He dug for his key card automatically, mind already turning toward data reviews and hydration schedules, as he opened the door of his Hotel room.
And then he looked up.
And stopped dead.
Because there, lounging on the couch in his Hotel room in Bahrain, wearing a loose fitting dress, her hair damp from a shower she must have just taken - was her.
Belle.
Waiting for him.
Max blinked once.
Twice.
He genuinely thought, for a heartbeat, that he was hallucinating.
"Hi," she said, smiling — a real smile, tired but so real — like she hadn’t nearly died two weeks ago, like she hadn’t ripped his heart out and stitched it back together in the same breath.
"Hi," Max said hoarsely, voice cracking slightly.
She stood up slowly, careful, and Max could see the faint traces of bruises still painting her collarbone under the neckline of her dress.
He didn’t think.
He crossed the hallway in three long strides and gathered her into his arms, pulling her against his chest so tightly she squeaked.
Belle laughed — a soft, breathless sound — and buried her face against his shoulder.
"You’re here," Max murmured, like he still couldn’t believe it, like he had to say it out loud just to make it real. "You’re actually here."
"I missed you," Belle whispered into his shirt. "I wanted to surprise you."
"You’re going to kill me one day, you know that?" he said, laughing wetly against her hair. "Heart attack at 26."
She pulled back just enough to look up at him, hands still clutching the fabric of his shirt.
"You’re not mad?"
"Mad?" Max shook his head, jaw tight with emotion. "Belle, I’m—" He broke off, swallowing hard. "I’m so fucking glad you’re here, I don’t even have words for it."
Her eyes shone a little too brightly, but her smile was steady.
"I’m cleared to travel," she said quickly, reading the worry still written across his face. "I’m fine. I’m okay."
Max leaned down and kissed her forehead — a soft, reverent brush of lips — before resting his forehead against hers.
"I thought you were at home," he said, voice low and rough. "Resting."
Belle gave a tiny, guilty smile.
"Technically, I am resting," she said. "Just... here."
Max huffed a breathless laugh — half relief, half something too big to name.
"And how exactly," he murmured, pulling back to raise an eyebrow at her, "did you sneak into a fully-booked F1 team hotel?"
Belle bit her bottom lip, eyes sparkling.
"GP might have helped a little."
Max stared at her for a beat — then burst out laughing, pressing a kiss against her forehead.
"Of course he did," he said, voice shaking slightly with laughter and something dangerously close to tears.
Belle beamed up at him, utterly unrepentant.
"He even texted me like it was a spy mission," she added proudly. "I think he had fun."
Max shook his head, still smiling, overwhelmed by how much he loved her.
"He's going to regret that when I promote him from race engineer to full-time Belle smuggler."
Belle laughed, wrapping her arms tighter around his waist.
"You’re not mad?"
Max kissed the top of her head, breathing her in like he still couldn’t believe she was real.
"Mad?" he echoed. "No. You’re here. You’re safe. That’s all I’ll ever care about."
She tucked her face into his chest, and Max just held her there — steady, grounding her, grounding himself.
***
Arthur spotted her near the Ferrari hospitality entrance, and for a long second, he honestly thought he was seeing things.
Isabelle —
Here?
In Bahrain?
He frowned, confused, slowing his steps.
She wasn’t supposed to be here.
No one had said anything.
She hadn’t said anything.
Not in the family chat.
Not in any of the bland, polite “good luck” texts she sent before race weekends.
Arthur crossed the walkway toward her before he could overthink it.
“Isabelle?” he called, blinking against the bright sun.
She turned, smiling when she saw him — but it was a small, careful kind of smile.
Not the bright, easy one he remembered.
“Hey, Arthur,” she said softly.
He stopped in front of her, feeling weirdly awkward.
“You didn’t say you were coming,” he said, trying for teasing but it came out too sharp, too defensive.
“I didn’t know I was coming until a few days ago,” Isabelle said, shrugging one shoulder. “Doctor cleared me. Figured I’d make the trip.”
Arthur’s eyes flicked over her automatically — and caught, despite himself, on the faint bruising still along her temple, the shadows along her collarbone.
He looked away quickly.
Pretended he hadn’t seen it.
“You look fine,” he said too quickly. “You are fine, right?”
Isabelle’s smile faltered.
“I’m… better,” she said after a beat. “Still a little bruised. But yeah. I’m okay.”
Arthur nodded, desperate to believe it.
“Good,” he said, forcing a casual shrug. “We were all worried.”
Were we? a voice whispered in the back of his mind, but he shoved it down.
Isabelle looked at him for a long second, her expression unreadable.
“You didn’t ask,” she said lightly. Not accusatory. Just stating a fact.
Arthur blinked.
“What?”
“After the accident,” she said. “None of you really asked what happened. You just… assumed I was fine.”
Arthur opened his mouth. Closed it.
He didn’t know what to say to that — not without admitting that he hadn’t wanted to ask.
Hadn’t wanted to know.
Because if she wasn’t fine —
If she had been hurt worse than a few bruises and a night in the hospital —
Then what did that say about him? About all of them?
Arthur shifted his weight, uncomfortable.
“You’re here now,” he said finally, as if that proved something.
As if her survival was enough to erase everything else.
Isabelle smiled again — but it was a different kind of smile this time.
Tired. A little sad.
“Yeah,” she said. “I’m here.”
And for the first time, Arthur wondered if maybe — just maybe — that wasn’t as simple as it sounded.

Lily hadn’t been trying to find anyone in particular — she'd just been wandering the paddock in search of ice cream.
It was so hot, that she really, really needed ice cream before she melted into a puddle of useless girlfriend.
Oscar had pointed her in the vague direction of the food vendors before dashing off for driver obligations, so Lily wandered across the paddock, sunglasses perched precariously on her head, following her nose (and the general vibe of "ice cream is this way").
She was halfway there when she spotted her.
A girl — no, a young woman — perched casually near one of the vendor stands, flipping through her phone with an easy kind of grace, looking completely at home despite the chaos around her.
At first, Lily didn't recognize her. She just noticed the calm. The way people instinctively gave her space without even realizing it. Like the eye of a storm.
Then she realized.
Isabelle Leclerc.
Charles’ sister.
The one who somehow existed on the very edge of all the chaos — always close enough to be there, but never quite tangled up in it.
Belle. The girl who had rescued Oscar from buying “the ugliest couch in existence in Monaco.”
Oscar had mentioned her, in the same tone you'd use for someone you admired without quite knowing how to say it.
Lily hesitated — torn between her mission for ice cream and her deep-rooted manners that said go say hi, you dork.
She picked manners.
"Hi," Lily said, smiling as she approached.
Isabelle looked up, and for a second, Lily thought maybe she'd made a mistake — maybe she was interrupting something.
But then Isabelle smiled back — soft and real — and it was like being wrapped in sunshine.
"Hi," Isabelle said warmly. "You're Oscar's Lily, right?"
Lily laughed, a little breathless with surprise. "I guess so."
"Finally, we meet properly. Belle Leclerc," Belle said, tucking her phone away. "You heading somewhere, or are you just braving the paddock chaos for the experience?"
"Ice cream," Lily admitted. "Desperately."
Belle laughed — a real laugh, the kind that made you want to laugh too. "Good instincts. It's basically a survival tactic in this weather."
Lily grinned, a little more relaxed now. "You wouldn't happen to know where the best vendor is, would you?"
Belle tilted her head thoughtfully, like she was considering the great philosophical question of their time. "There's a stand near the back of the McLaren motorhome," she said. "Less crowded, better flavors. Also, the guy running it doesn’t skimp on sprinkles if you look appropriately pitiful."
Lily beamed. "You’re a lifesaver."
"Come on," Belle said, already falling into step beside her. "I'll show you. It’s basically my civic duty."
Belle tucked a strand of caramel coloured hair behind her ear and Lily suddenly saw the faint bruising still lingering along Belle’s temple and just under her collarbone where her dress dipped at the neck.
The sight made something twist sharply in Lily’s chest.
"I—" she started, then bit her lip. "I just wanted to say… I’m really glad you’re okay."
Belle blinked, clearly surprised.
"I heard about the crash," Lily said quickly, "Oscar told me it was serious."   She trailed off, feeling weirdly emotional for a person who barely knew her.
Belle’s expression softened even more — touched, a little shy.
"Thank you," she said, voice a little rougher around the edges. "I was really lucky."
Lily smiled, relieved.
"And also," Lily said, remembering, "thank you for helping Oscar with his apartment. He said you saved him from living in chaos forever."
Belle laughed again, covering her mouth. "He’s exaggerating."
"No, he’s really not," Lily said earnestly. "He had one pot and like three mismatched plates before you intervened."
Belle giggled. "I just gave him a list."
"And apparently taught him the existence of rugs and throw pillows," Lily said with a wink. "You’re a hero."
Belle was still laughing, her eyes crinkling at the corners in a way that made her seem even younger, even softer.
Lily found herself smiling so hard her cheeks hurt.
Without really thinking, she said:
"I’m really glad we ran into each other."
"Me too," Belle said, and this time there wasn’t a trace of hesitation.
And just like that — without ceremony or fanfare — Lily was swept up into Belle’s orbit. Adopted. Collected. Claimed.
No big declarations. No awkwardness.
Just a steady, unspoken you’re one of mine now.
Lily understood immediately how it had happened to Oscar.
And why Oscar had looked so quietly smug about it ever since.
As they made their way through the paddock together, Belle offering casual commentary on the chaos around them, Lily thought maybe — just maybe — this whole world felt a little less overwhelming when you had someone like Belle at your side.
Two girls who hadn’t meant to find each other in the chaos of the paddock — but who did anyway.

Text Messages: Lily Zneimer & Oscar Piastri
Lily: I just met Belle.
Lily: At the ice cream stand!!
Lily: We both went for survival ice cream.
Lily: It was fate.
Oscar: Oh no. What did you do.
Lily: EXCUSE ME.
Lily: I was adorable.
Lily: SHE was adorable.
Lily: We’re best friends now.
Oscar: That tracks.
Lily: Oscar. OSCAR.
Oscar: What.
Lily: I get it.
Lily: I GET IT.
Lily: Why you’re obsessed with her.
Lily: She’s sunshine wrapped in a cardigan and stubbornness.
Oscar: Yeah. She’s Belle. Everyone’s a little obsessed with her. Max just got there first.
Lily: Also she’s still got bruises from the crash and she was just out here smiling like a total champ.
Lily: I wanted to wrap her in bubble wrap.
Oscar: Trust me. Max is already trying. If he could put her in a Volvo made of titanium, he would.
Lily: Tell him to let me help.
Lily: I’m small but scrappy.
Oscar:  I’ll pass along the message. He’ll appreciate the reinforcements.
Lily: I’m serious. I love her already.

Meanwhile on Twitter:
@/F1Overheard: Isabelle Leclerc and Lily Zneimer spotted getting ice cream together in the paddock today. New power duo just dropped???
@/Turn1Drama:  Not to be dramatic but I would lay down my life for Isabelle and Lily within 0.2 seconds of meeting them.
@/F1Receipts: Ok but… zoom in. Look at Isabelle’s collarbone.  There’s… bruising???
photo attached: Belle smiling with Lily, faint purple fading along her neck/collarbone visible above her dress
@GridGirlsUnited: WAIT. WHY DOES ISABELLE HAVE BRUISES.
@/FerrariFeverDreams: Isabelle Leclerc is the blueprint for moving through the world with quiet grace and still kicking life’s ass.
@/F1WAGUpdates:  UMMM??? ISABELLE LECLERC AND LILY (OSCAR'S GIRLFRIEND) SPOTTED GETTING ICE CREAM IN BAHRAIN?? HELLO??? THE POWER DUO I NEVER KNEW I NEEDED????
@/gridgirlconfessions:  not to be dramatic but Isabelle taking lily under her wing is the SOFTEST THING EVER.  I’m literally going to cry in the paddock rn
@turn1meltdown also. not to be That Person but did anyone else notice... Isabelle has bruises?? I am pretty sure she covered one at her forehead with makeup. but you can see one on her shoulder when her dress fell down  as she got ice cream??
@/tinfoiltires: not to start a conspiracy but…do you think she is dating Lando?! I mean she is hanging out with Oscar’s girlfriend.
@/paddockprotectionagency: There is literally no evidence for that. At all.
@/F1TeaTime:  ISABELLE LECLERC AND LILY PIASTRI SPOTTED TOGETHER IN BAHRAIN:  GIRL GANG FORMING ALERT.
@PaddockSpy Isabelle "please don't perceive me" Leclerc and Lily "mystery personified" Zneimer together is EXACTLY the energy the paddock needs.
@/McLarenMayhem Oscar spotted hovering around Lily and Isabelle like a guard dog. Lando too???
@/PitLaneDrama:  Theory: Isabelle was hurt recently. Not racing related (obviously). Something serious enough that the whole grid knows but fans are only now noticing.
@/FerrariFanForum: idk what's happening but if someone hurt Isabelle Leclerc I fully believe half the paddock would riot.
@/f1overheard:  also... are we gonna talk about the fact that Belle still has bruises on her arms??? Faded but definitely there??? Is she okay??? Who do I need to fight???
@/chaosinsector1: She’s laughing and walking and eating ice cream but seeing those bruises on Belle actually made me want to fistfight a drunk driver in the middle of Bahrain.

Text Messages: Oscar Piastri & Max Verstappen
Oscar: Mate. Did my girlfriend just get adopted by your girlfriend??
Max: Good. Belle needs more allies.
Oscar: They went for ice cream and now Lily’s acting like she’s been knighted into the Order of Belle.
Max: She has. There’s no going back.
Oscar: ...is this what happened to me?
Max: Yes. You just didn’t notice. It’s stealthy like that.
Oscar: Incredible.
Max: Also — Can you tell Lily to keep an eye on her?
Oscar: Belle?
Max: Yeah. Doctor cleared her for travel, but… She’s good at pretending she’s fine when she isn’t.
Oscar: Got it. I’ll tell Lily. (But I think she already clocked that. She’s weirdly good at reading people.)
Max: So is Belle. That’s probably why they found each other. But yeah. Just… make sure she rests. If she starts acting like she’s invincible, let me know.
Oscar: Copy that. Spy network: activated.
Max: Appreciate it. You get one free pass next time I accidentally block you in quali.
Oscar: Noted. I’ll save it for when it hurts the most.
***
Belle had just been laughing at something Lily said — something about Oscar’s catastrophic ability to pick good ice cream flavors — when she felt it.
That snap in the air.
The sudden chill.
She turned — and sure enough, there was Charles, storming across the paddock toward them with thunderclouds practically radiating off him.
Belle stiffened instinctively.
Oscar noticed too — his easy grin faltering. He had had flopped into a seat beside them minutes ago, looking amused but exhausted after media duties. Lando Norris had joined them too, fresh from a sponsor event, stealing a spoonful of Belle’s icecram like a menace.
Lando now looked like he was considering dropping his spoon and running.
“Isabelle,” Charles barked, sharp enough that it turned a few heads.
Belle straightened, fighting the instinct to brace herself.
“Hi, Charles,” she said evenly. “Good afternoon to you too."
He didn’t bother with greetings.
He didn’t even glance at the others.
His glare locked onto her like a missile.
He pointed dramatically at Lando, who looked like a deer in headlights.
"Are you dating him?!"
Dead silence.
Belle stared at her brother, mouth slightly open, frozen mid-bite.
Before she could even start responding, Lando erupted:
"WHAT?? NO. OH MY GOD, NO."
He flailed so hard he nearly knocked over his chair.
"I would never!" he blurted, panicked.
Oscar looked like he wanted to sink into the ground and disappear.
Lily was visibly biting her lip, fighting back laughter.
Belle closed her eyes very slowly, inhaled through her nose, and set her cup down carefully on the table.
"First of all," she said icily, "even if I were dating someone, that’s absolutely none of your business."
Charles opened his mouth to argue.
Belle held up a hand. "I’m not done."
Charles froze.
"Second," Belle continued, voice sharp, "I am not dating Lando. I was laughing at a joke about Oscar thinking that horseradish is an ice cream flavour that should exist, thank you very much."
Oscar made a helpless noise of protest. Lily patted his arm sympathetically.
"And third," Belle said, her eyes narrowing, "I would like to remind you that last year, you accused me of flirting with GP because we had a five-minute conversation about kitchen backsplashes."
Oscar actually choked on his yogurt.
Lando snorted so loudly he nearly fell out of his chair.
Charles, flushing red, spluttered, "That was — that was different!"
"Was it?" Belle said, crossing her arms. "Was it really, Charles? I am an adult," she said crisply. "I am capable of talking to men without planning a wedding, thank you."
Belle took a slow step forward, closing the space between them — not enough to make a scene, but enough that he had to really look at her.
At the fading bruises on her skin.
At the shadows under her eyes.
At the way she stood — a little too still, a little too tired — but standing all the same.
“I survived a car crash two weeks ago,” Belle said, voice quiet but razor-sharp. “I’m allowed to eat ice cream with my friends without needing your permission, Charles.”
He opened his mouth like he wanted to argue — to scold her somehow, as if she hadn’t earned the right to live her life on her own terms — but for once, no words came out.
Belle didn’t wait for them either.

Lando: I’M ACTUALLY GOING TO DIE.
Carlos: What happened now?
Lando: CHARLES. CHARLES HAPPENED.

Oscar:  He’s not.
Lando: I SWEAR.
Lando: I WAS TALKING ABOUT OREOS.
Lando: AND SPRINKLES.
Lando: AND NOW I’M A DEAD MAN.

Lando: CHARLES LOOKED AT ME LIKE HE WAS ALREADY DIGGING THE GRAVE.
Lando: I’M INNOCENT.
Oscar: Tell it to the judge. (aka Charles.)
Lando: I NEED WITNESSES.
Lewis: Your Honor, all he did was sprinkle some toppings.
Daniel: GUILTY. Of flirting with ice cream.
Oscar: Death by suspicious glances.
Lando: THIS IS A MISCARRIAGE OF JUSTICE.
Carlos: Charles said guilty. Sprinkle boy must suffer.
Lando: I HATE YOU ALL.
Oscar: Love you too, Sprinkle Boy.

Text Messages: Isabelle Leclerc & Max Verstappen
Isabelle: Update from the chaos front: Charles now thinks I’m dating Lando.
Max: First GP. Now Lando. Who’s next? Helmut?
Isabelle: PLEASE.
Max: Imagine explaining that one to the family.
Isabelle: At this point I think they’d believe anything. I just need to talk to someone and apparently it’s a full-blown scandal.
Max: Good thing you already have a secret boyfriend. ME.
Isabelle: The only one that matters. (And the only one who would never judge my ice cream topping choices.)
Max: Correct. As your official and only secret boyfriend, I feel like maybe it’s time to make you an honest woman.
Isabelle: Max.
Max: All I’m saying is if you wore a ring, maybe Charles would stop suspecting every man who breathes near you.
Isabelle: You’re lucky you’re cute.
Max: I’m lucky for a lot of reasons. You’re the biggest one.

David Coulthard had been around Formula One long enough to notice things.
He noticed when a driver had a new sponsor before anyone said a word.
He noticed when a pit crew moved two tenths faster than last season.
And he noticed — very easily — when something was going on off-track.
It started with Max.
Max was... Different.
Still sharp, still competitive — God help anyone who thought the fire had gone — but... softer around the edges, somehow.
Less likely to bite a journalist’s head off.
Laughing more. Smiling — smiling! — during media duties instead of looking like he wanted to physically vanish into the concrete.
David had filed it away, mildly amused.
 Maybe maturity.
 Maybe something else.
But then Bahrain happened.
And David saw her.
He was standing near the Red Bull hospitality tent, making small talk with Christian Horner about the new season, when he caught the sight of her.
Isabelle Leclerc.
Charles' little sister.
Quiet. Polite. Always seemed to hover just outside the spotlight.
She was walking across the paddock, a small tote bag slung over one shoulder, sunglasses perched on her head — casual, unnoticed by most of the chaos around her.
Except Max noticed.
Max, who’d been standing half-turned, mid-conversation with a Red Bull engineer, stopped mid-sentence when he saw her.
David watched — curious, instinct pricking at the back of his neck — as Max’s entire face softened.
Not just fond — no, no.
Absolutely gone.
Max excused himself a little too quickly. Caught up with her a few paces later, walking just a little too close, talking low and quiet.
David tilted his head, observing like a man watching a slow car crash — except it wasn’t a crash at all. It was... intimate.
Isabelle laughed at something Max said — and David watched Max practically beam like a golden retriever who’d just been handed a steak.
He narrowed his eyes thoughtfully.
Well, well, well.
Later that afternoon, while pretending to be busy near the media center, David caught another moment.
Isabelle was perched on the low wall near the Red Bull motorhome, sipping from a bottle of water, flipping through something on her phone.
Max came out the door — helmet in hand, race suit half unzipped — and immediately bee-lined toward her.
Not toward the engineers.
Not toward the debrief room.
 Her.
And when he thought no one was looking, Max leaned down and pressed a kiss — soft, fast, familiar — to the top of her head.
David raised his eyebrows.
Oh, it wasn’t just a thing.
It wasn’t casual.
It wasn’t nothing.
This was serious.
And judging by how utterly comfortable they were — how instinctively they gravitated toward each other without even thinking — it had been serious for a while.
David smirked to himself, pulling out his phone.
Text to Mark Webber:I bet you a bottle of wine Max Verstappen is dating Isabelle Leclerc. Long term. Dead serious.
Mark:WHATexplain immediately
David chuckled, pocketing his phone.
Oh, he wasn’t going to explain everything yet.
Where was the fun in that?
He was going to sit back, enjoy the slow unfolding chaos, and wait for the paddock to finally catch up to what he already knew:
Max Verstappen was utterly, completely, irrevocably in love.
And her last name was Leclerc.
God, the 2024 season was already looking fantastic.
***
Mark Webber prided himself on keeping his ear to the ground.
Or, at the very least, knowing when David bloody Coulthard was onto something juicy.
He couldn’t stop thinking about that text message.
I bet you a bottle of wine Max Verstappen is dating Isabelle Leclerc. Long term. Dead serious.
 Dead serious.
David didn’t throw those words around lightly.
So, naturally, Mark did what any sane, mature, retired driver would do.
He went hunting for information.
It wasn’t like he could just ask Max — not without getting a death stare and possibly a Red Bull can thrown at his head.
No, he needed someone younger. Someone adjacent. Someone... less likely to suspect an ambush.
He spotted Oscar near the McLaren garage, fiddling with a water bottle, looking far too innocent for a man in the Formula One paddock.
Perfect.
Mark strolled over casually, hands in his pockets, wearing the most nonchalant face he could muster.
Oscar looked up, blinking like a deer in headlights.
"Hey, mate," Mark said smoothly. "Quick one for you."
Oscar looked instantly suspicious — good lad, instincts sharp — but he nodded.
Mark leaned in, lowering his voice conspiratorially. "Any idea if Max Verstappen’s dating Isabelle Leclerc?"
Oscar choked so hard on absolutely nothing that he physically stumbled back a step.
Mark arched a brow. "That’s a yes?"
"How—" Oscar spluttered, looking around wildly like he expected FIA officials to pop out of the bushes. "How do you know that?!"
Mark laughed, genuinely delighted. "Ohhh, mate, you just confirmed it for me."
Oscar groaned, scrubbing a hand over his face. "I didn’t confirm anything! I just— I mean—" He lowered his voice urgently. "It’s, like, a massive secret."
Mark chuckled, utterly unbothered. "Not that massive if Coulthard noticed it after one afternoon."
Oscar buried his face in his hands. "I’m so dead. Max is going to kill me. I didn’t say anything!"
"You didn’t have to." Mark clapped him on the shoulder, grinning like the cat that got the cream. "Cheers, mate. Appreciate it."
He turned to saunter away — job done, day made — leaving poor Oscar standing there, looking absolutely haunted.
Mark was already pulling out his phone to text David back: Oscar just confirmed it. Owe you a bottle. Also this is incredible.
God, he loved this sport.

The restaurant was loud, chaotic in the way all post-race celebrations were, but Max didn’t mind.
Not tonight.
The Bahrain Grand Prix trophy was already back at the hotel, forgotten for the moment — because the real prize was sitting right next to him, curled into the booth, tucked safely under his arm.
Belle.
Max still hadn't entirely recovered from seeing her waiting for him after free practice a few nights ago — real, alive, breathing.
Now, with her hair soft around her face, wearing a simple sundress that made her look even more breakable and beautiful under the low lights, he could barely keep his hands off her.
And he didn’t have to.
Not here.
Not when everyone thought she was just Isabelle Leclerc, Charles’ sweet little sister, along for the ride.
Max smirked to himself, sliding his hand a little higher on her thigh under the table, tracing small, lazy circles against the fabric of her dress.
Belle looked up at him, cheeks flushing immediately, but her eyes sparkled — delighted, conspiratorial.
God, he loved her.
Lando, unfortunately, was sitting across the table — and he was dying.
Max could feel it.
Every time Max leaned in closer to Belle, murmuring something low in her ear, Lando shifted violently in his seat like he was physically restraining himself from making a scene.
It was beautiful.
"So," Belle said, teasingly soft, tilting her head up toward him, "how does it feel to add another trophy to the collection?"
Max shrugged, smirking, fully aware that Charles — sitting a few seats away — was half-listening while pretending to be absorbed in the menu.
"Don’t care about trophies," Max said easily, keeping his voice just loud enough to carry.
Belle blinked up at him, playing along.
"Oh no? What do you care about, then?"
Max leaned down, his mouth brushing just over the shell of her ear, and said, so low that it was a miracle only Lando seemed to catch it:
"You’re the only trophy I want."
Belle flushed scarlet, her hand tightening briefly around the napkin in her lap, her breath catching visibly.
Max smiled against her temple, smug and helplessly in love.
Across the table, Lando made a tiny, strangled noise and buried his face in his hands.
Charles — bless his stupid, oblivious soul — just looked up from the menu and said, casually:
"You’re not even looking at dessert, Max. You’re going to miss the good stuff."
Max didn't even blink.
"I already have the good stuff," he said without missing a beat, eyes locked firmly on Belle.
Belle made a tiny, helpless noise that she immediately disguised with a cough.
Lando kicked Max hard under the table, and Max barely resisted kicking him back.
Charles, meanwhile, just shrugged and went back to the menu, completely, fantastically unaware.
Max felt Belle’s hand slide into his under the table, squeezing once — a secret, silent, trembling squeeze — and he squeezed back, his thumb brushing lightly over her knuckles.
She was his.
And one day soon —
He wasn’t going to hide it anymore.
But for now?
He could live like this.
With Belle flushed and smiling at his side, Lando dying quietly across from him, and the rest of the world too blind to see that Max Verstappen had already won the only race that ever really mattered.

Group Chat: HELP ME
(Members: Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, Carlos Sainz, Daniel Ricciardo, Lewis Hamilton)
Lando: I almost DIED at dinner.
Oscar: What happened??
Lando: Max flirted with Belle. In front of Charles. Like, full-on heart eyes and whispered sweet nothings.
Carlos: Please tell me Charles noticed.
Lando: HE DIDN’T. He told Max to look at the dessert menu.
Lando: Max literally said “I already have the good stuff” while STARING AT BELLE.
Lando: And Charles just??? Nodded???
Lewis: Oh my god.
Oscar: I’m losing it. How are you still alive.
Lando: She was BLUSHING. Max was basically devouring her with his eyes.
Lando: I had to physically punch myself in the leg to not start screaming.
Daniel: You deserve an award. Like. An actual trophy.
Carlos: Or a medal. “Bravery in the Face of Complete Dumbassery.”
Oscar: Lando Norris: Survivor of Max-and-Belle Public Flirting™️
Lando: I’m writing my will. If I die because Charles eventually finds out and kills me, tell my mum I love her.
Daniel: Will do. Also, dibs on your gaming chair.
Lewis: We are NOT inheriting his Twitch setup, Daniel.
Daniel: You can’t stop me.
Carlos: Focus. The real question is: How long until Max just proposes and Charles still doesn’t notice?
Oscar: 50 bucks says it happens this season.
Lando: I’m raising you to 100. Because honestly? At this point? I can see it happening.

There were a few great constants in Formula One.
One: There would always be politics.
Two: Fernando Alonso would always find a way to be fast.
And three: The old guard — Mark Webber, David Coulthard, and Fernando himself — would probably end up at a hotel bar, drinking expensive whiskey and gossiping like teenagers at a sleepover.
Tonight was no exception.
David leaned back in his chair, looking insufferably smug as he sipped his drink.
"I’m telling you," he said, tapping the side of his glass for emphasis. "It’s serious. Verstappen and the little Leclerc."
Mark, grinning like a fox, said, "Oscar practically shat himself when I asked him."
Fernando’s eyebrows shot up, delighted. "You interrogated Piastri?"
Mark shrugged, completely unapologetic. "Didn’t even need to. Kid panicked so hard I thought he was about to call his mum."
David chuckled darkly. "Told you. Not just a fling. Proper relationship. Long-term."
Fernando leaned forward, elbows on the table, suddenly far more interested. "I have seen them together a few times. Very... comfortable."
David pointed at him triumphantly. "Exactly! No nerves. No posturing. He looks at her like he’s already married her and built her a house in the countryside with five cats."
Mark howled with laughter. "Imagine Max Verstappen in the countryside, bloody hell."
Fernando smirked. "You are both missing the real headline."
Mark and David raised their eyebrows in unison.
Fernando leaned back, satisfied. "When Charles finds out."
There was a beat of silence — then all three of them burst into laughter, loud enough that a few other patrons in the bar turned to look.
David wiped tears from his eyes. "Oh, God, Charles Leclerc’s going to combust."
"Publicly or privately?" Mark asked, grinning.
Fernando considered it seriously. "Privately first. Brooding. Sad playlist. Maybe a little crying in the shower. Then public disapproval."
"Disapproval," David echoed, nodding solemnly. "In that very polite Monegasque way. ‘I am not angry, I am just... disappointed.’"
Mark knocked back the rest of his drink, still chuckling. "Imagine the Christmas dinners. Verstappen sitting across from Leclerc at the table. Isabelle kicking him under it every time he tries to start a fight."
David grinned. "Max pretending to be polite for fifteen minutes before he says something that makes Charles’ eye twitch."
Fernando clapped his hands together, pleased. "This season is already perfect."
Mark waved down the bartender for another round, because frankly, they deserved it.
"We should start a pool," he said. "How long until it goes public?"
David leaned forward eagerly. "Or how long until one of them accidentally soft-launches it on Instagram."
Fernando raised his glass. "Or until Verstappen punches a journalist for asking a stupid question about Isabelle."
They clinked glasses with wicked grins, the unofficial F1 Gossip Club alive and thriving.
Across town, Max Verstappen and Isabelle Leclerc remained blissfully unaware that three of the sport’s greatest troublemakers were placing metaphorical bets on their entire relationship timeline.
***
It wasn’t supposed to be complicated.
It was just a haircut. A simple thing.
Isabelle had asked, gently, over coffee one weekend. "Would you mind coloring my hair again, Maman?"
Her voice light, casual — hoping it would sound like a normal daughterly request, not something heavy.
Pascale had smiled vaguely, barely looking up from her phone. "Of course, cherie. Make an appointment, and we'll sort it out."
Belle had smiled too, automatic and small. "Okay."
She booked it the next week, a Friday afternoon — easy enough to squeeze in around both their schedules. She texted her mother to confirm.
Belle: Appointment for Friday at 2pm. Let me know if that still works for you!
The reply came half a day later.
Pascale: Oh, mon coeur, Friday’s going to be tricky. Charles needs help with a sponsor shoot! We'll find another time, I promise ❤️
Belle told herself it was fine. Of course it was fine.
Charles' career came first. It always had.
She rebooked for the next week.
Wednesday afternoon. Easy. Flexible.
Pascale: Arthur’s looking at apartments. I need to go with him. Next week? ❤️
Another reschedule. Another brushed-off excuse.
Lunch with friends. Last-minute travel plans. A gala that needed organizing.
Each time, Belle rearranged her schedule like a good little daughter. Each time, Pascale’s priorities stayed somewhere else — with someone else.
And Belle — Belle stayed small and polite, pretending like it didn’t sting.
Eventually, after the fourth reschedule in three weeks, Belle stood in front of her bathroom mirror, stared at her roots growing out unevenly, the dull ends of her hair catching awkwardly in the light — and something inside her simply... cracked.
She booked an appointment. With someone else. No fanfare. No texts.
She sat in the warm, bright little salon tucked near the flower market that Emilie had recommended, letting a stranger mix a soft, golden color for her hair, hands sure and kind.
And when it was done — When Belle caught sight of herself in the mirror — she smiled.
Really smiled.
The soft caramel highlights caught the light, framing her face, making her eyes look warmer. She looked — fresh. Hopeful, even.
It was silly.  It was just hair. But it felt like something more.
A line, quietly drawn. A choice for herself, not for anyone else.
She didn’t tell her mother.
Not at first.
But Pascale noticed at a family brunch the following weekend.
The moment Isabelle sat down, Pascale’s eyes sharpened, taking in the subtle change.
"You went to someone else?" she asked, light but pointed, the corners of her mouth tightening almost imperceptibly.
Isabelle sipped her coffee calmly. "You were busy."
Pascale laughed, waving it off. "Still, cherie, you should have waited. It’s not quite... what we would have done."
Belle smiled, soft and polite — the kind of smile she'd perfected years ago. Maybe not what you would have done, she thought. Maybe that's the point.
"It’s just hair, Maman," she said lightly.  She didn’t offer to rebook. Didn’t apologize.
And for once, she didn’t feel guilty about it.
***
The chair in Simone’s office was comfortable — too comfortable, sometimes.
It made it harder to keep her walls up. But maybe that was the point.
Belle picked at the seam of her sleeve, her legs curled under her, staring at the little woven rug on the floor as she spoke.
"It sounds stupid," she said after a long pause. "About the hair, I mean."
Simone — patient, kind Simone — just shook her head gently. "I don't think it sounds stupid at all."
Belle exhaled, staring at her hands."I just... I asked her to help. My mother. And she said yes, but then kept rescheduling. Again and again. For Charles. For Arthur. For everyone else."
Simone nodded, quiet encouragement in the simple gesture.
"And it wasn't the first time," Belle added, voice thinner now. "It’s never the first time. I know that."
"And how did it feel?" Simone asked, voice low, careful.
Belle hesitated.
How did it feel? It felt — small. It felt like being fourteen again, forgotten in the corner while her brothers got all the attention, all the applause.
"It felt like..." she trailed off, fumbling for words. "Like I wasn't important enough to remember."
Simone’s gaze was steady. "And what did you do with that feeling?"
Belle smiled tightly. "I told myself it didn't matter. Booked another appointment. Let someone else do it."
"And how did that feel?"
Belle surprised herself by laughing — a soft, broken sound. "Good," she admitted. And then, more quietly: "Really good."
Simone smiled. "You made a choice for yourself."
Belle nodded, the weight of it sinking in.
"I didn’t wait around this time," she said. "I didn’t hope she'd find time for me if I was just... patient enough."
"That’s not a small thing," Simone said. "That’s reclaiming something you were taught not to expect."
Belle blinked, throat tightening unexpectedly.
"You were taught," Simone continued gently, "that your needs came second. Or third. Or fourth. Or not at all. And now — even in something as small as a haircut — you're learning that you don't have to keep living by those old rules."
Belle swallowed hard.
"I guess I always thought... if I was just easier, or more useful, then maybe they'd—"
She broke off, voice catching.
Simone leaned forward slightly, her voice warm and firm.
"You don't have to earn love, Isabelle."
Belle squeezed her hands into fists, feeling the sting of tears she refused to let fall.
"You were already enough," Simone said. "You always have been."
Belle left the session feeling raw — scraped open — but lighter too.
Because maybe, just maybe, she was allowed to take up space. Allowed to choose herself. Allowed to stop waiting for permission that was never going to come.
Maybe love didn’t look like waiting on the sidelines. Maybe it looked like laughing under new sunlight, caramel highlights catching in the breeze, walking into the world without asking first.
And maybe — just maybe — she could be proud of that.

Text Messages: Victoria Verstappen & Isabelle Leclerc
Victoria: Hey Belle 💛 Random question — do you have some time in the next few weeks?
Isabelle: Hi! I should, yes! What’s up?
Victoria: I need help. With the nursery.
Isabelle: 🥺🥺🥺 You want me to help?
Victoria: Of course. You have the best taste. And honestly? I trust you. I want the nursery to feel safe and warm — not like something out of a catalog.
Isabelle: 😭 Vic.
Victoria: I'm serious!! Also I’m too emotional and tired to pick out wallpapers without crying 😂
Isabelle: Say no more. I’m honored. When were you thinking of starting?
Victoria: Whenever you’re free! No pressure. (But preferably before I get too big to waddle up the stairs without a forklift.)
Isabelle: 😂 You’re glowing, not waddling. But yes, I’m free next weekend if you want?
Victoria: Perfect. We can have snacks and mood boards and a no-crying policy.
Isabelle: (That rule is for you.)
Victoria: 100%.
Victoria: Thank you, Belle. Really. It means a lot to me. It means a lot to us.
Isabelle: I can’t wait 🩵 Already have about 12 ideas brewing.
Victoria: I knew I asked the right person 🥹

@TireDegEnjoyer:: Max: "Oh yeah, she was at a race." Us: "SIR??? AND YOU DIDN’T THINK TO MENTION THIS EARLIER???"
@softmaxgirl: I refuse to believe we all collectively failed at spotting her. This is a cover-up. She’s in a Red Bull hoodie somewhere in the background. We need to check every race weekend.
@pitlanechaos: Max: "She was just walking around, watching, same as always." SAME AS ALWAYS???? SIR??? DO YOU MEAN TO TELL ME SHE’S BEEN TO MULTIPLE RACES?????
@LandoStoleMyLunch: Max’s girlfriend has officially become the Where’s Waldo of the paddock. She’s there, but she’s a ghost.
@DR3sMullet: ANOTHER CAT?!? I DEMAND PICTURES. WHAT DO YOU MEAN SASSY AND JIMMY HAVE A NEW SIBLING?!!?
@PaddockTea: This woman is so committed to her privacy. Most WAGs get papped once and boom, we know their whole life story. Max’s gf? We don’t even have crumbs.
@SuperMaxStan: The fact that she quit her job and instead of immediately becoming a full-time WAG, she just started freelancing??? She really does not care about his money at ALL.
@F1Shitposter: What do you bet Max has tried to convince her to become his trophy wife at least once and she just refused LMAO
↳@UndercutKing: The way half of us would’ve immediately quit their job the second Max suggested it and she just… didn’t. Iconic.
@FrontWingDamage: Max is just so casual about everything. Like, sir. You do realize we’ve been trying to figure this out for months.
↳@RedBullConspiracy:WE HAVE TO GO BACK. CHECK THE FOOTAGE. FIND HER.
↳@F1Sherlock: He said it so casually. Like he didn’t just confirm that she’s been right there and we all missed it. EMBARRASSING FOR US.
@GridReporter:The fact that people are now scrubbing through paddock footage frame by frame trying to find a glimpse of her… I love F1 fans.
↳@McLarenMemeLord:Max: “She was at a race.” F1 Twitter: ACTIVATE FBI MODE
@SuperMaxUltraFan:At this point, I don’t even care who she is. I’m just impressed by the commitment to staying invisible.
↳@Horseriding4Life:"More time for horse riding"—girl is really just living her dream life, huh?
↳@SidepodDisaster:The fact that she chose freelancing instead of living the soft WAG life… Respect.
@RedBullChaos:She really doesn’t care about his money and I think that’s what drives people insane the most.

Alex Albon was halfway through his coffee when Max dropped into the chair across from him like the world had personally wronged him.
“Lilly’s sneezing,” Max said, without preamble.
Alex blinked. “Okay… hi?”
“My kitten,” Max clarified, as if that explained everything.
Alex raised a brow. “Right. Is she okay?”
“She started sneezing two days ago,” Max said, frowning. “Little sneezes. Like tchu-tchu. Not constant. But today it’s more.”
Alex set his cup down. “Vet?”
“Took her yesterday. No fever, no infection. Not her food. They tested for everything. Nothing.” Max looked personally offended by the mystery. “So it has to be something in the apartment.”
Alex squinted. “New plants? Cleaning products?”
Max pulled out his phone and swiped with purpose. “Switched laundry detergent last week. Isabelle lit a new candle. It smells like cedarwood and… I don’t know, something sweet.”
“Floral?” Alex offered.
Max nodded like he was on a crime show. “Possibly rose. Or jasmine. Something aggressive. I think it’s the candle.”
“Could be,” Alex agreed. “Some scents mess with cats’ systems. Especially essential oils.”
Max turned his phone toward him. “Here. This is her on the couch—right next to where the candle’s usually lit.”
Alex looked.
It was a picture of Lilly. Big blue eyes. Tiny paws. Mid-sneeze. The picture was blurry, chaotic, adorable.
But behind the kitten, sitting casually on the couch in one of Max’s oversized hoodies, was Isabelle Leclerc.
Hair pulled into a messy bun. Mug in hand. Bare legs tucked under her like she belonged there. Looking at the kitten with this soft, utterly unguarded smile that said: this is home.
Alex stared.
Max didn’t notice. “See, she only sneezes in the living room. Nowhere else. So I think it’s—”
“Back up,” Alex said, voice sharp.
Max paused. “What?”
Alex pointed at the photo, eyes wide. “Is that Isabelle Leclerc in your living room?”
Max glanced at the phone like it was obvious. “Yeah.”
“Max,” Alex said slowly. “That’s Charles Leclerc’s sister.”
“Correct.”
“She’s wearing your hoodie.”
Then said, without any trace of shame: “Yeah.”
Alex stared. “Yeah?! That’s all I get?!”
Max squinted. “What do you want? A timeline?”
“Uh, YES?” Alex exclaimed, leaning forward. “That’s Charles’ sister. And she’s sitting on your couch in your hoodie with your kitten like she LIVES THERE.”
Max shrugged. “She does.”
Alex’s eyes nearly bugged out of his head. “You’re dating Charles Leclerc’s sister?”
Max took a sip of his water. “We’ve been together for a while. Over a year.”
Alex made an unholy sound. “And Charles doesn’t know?!”
“Nope.”
Alex blinked rapidly. “Does anyone know?!”
“GP, Lando, Daniel, Oscar…Lewis, my family...Oh, wait, Nico Rosberg. Now you.”
“Do you want to die?!”
Max gave him a mildly amused look.
Alex dropped his head into his hands. “You’re actually insane.”
Max waited a beat, then tapped his phone. “So. Candle, yes or no?”
Alex groaned. “Yes, Max. It could absolutely be the candle. But also, WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH YOUR LIFE.”
Max tilted his head. “Are you going to tell Charles?”
Alex gave him a look. “Do I look like I want to be collateral damage in that explosion?”
Max nodded approvingly. “Good. So... lavender and cedar — dangerous?”
Alex sighed. “For the kitten, yes. For you? I think you’ve already walked off a cliff.”
Max smirked. “Worth it.”
Alex groaned again. “I need a drink. And maybe a therapist.”

Oscar: No, you won’t.  We’re all dying inside… but she’s happy so we keep quiet
Daniel: And max is terrifyingly in love so we don’t poke the bear
George: this is insane
Alex: they are insane
Lando: but also, like… kind of cute right?

Max had faced down championship-deciding races, international media frenzies, and Monaco traffic. None of it — none of it — had prepared him for being frog-marched into a luxury jewelry boutique by Emilie Abadie at ten in the morning.
"Stand up straight," Emilie hissed under her breath, fixing the collar of his jacket like he was a misbehaving toddler.
Max glared at her. "I am standing straight."
"You’re standing like you’re about to be arrested," Emilie muttered. "Look less guilty."
"I am guilty," Max grumbled. "Guilty of letting you hijack my life."
Emilie grinned wickedly, grabbing his wrist and hauling him inside.
The boutique was elegant and understated — all cream walls, glass cases, and staff so polished they practically floated across the floor. A woman behind the nearest counter looked up, smiling warmly.
"Bonjour, Monsieur Verstappen. Mademoiselle Abadie. Welcome back."
Max blinked. "Back?"
Emilie shot him a look. "I told you I started scouting months ago. We have an appointment."
"You booked an appointment without asking me?"
"You needed help," Emilie said breezily. "You should be thanking me."
Max grumbled something unflattering under his breath but let her lead him deeper into the store. A private consultation table was already set up — soft lighting, velvet ring trays, glasses of still water, and a discreet little sign that read: “Reserved for Mr. Verstappen.”
Max sat down stiffly. Emilie plopped into the chair next to him like she owned the place.
The saleswoman joined them, setting out a leather-bound book filled with sketches. "You mentioned you were interested in a custom design. Yellow gold, emerald centerpiece, classic but with modern detailing?"
"Exactly," Emilie said crisply, before Max could even open his mouth.
Max raised an eyebrow. "Are you proposing or am I?"
"You're the wallet," Emilie said sweetly. "I’m the brains."
The saleswoman laughed quietly and turned the book toward Max. Beautiful sketches of rings — thick yellow gold bands, stunning emeralds set flush into intricate settings, delicate hidden details like tiny horseshoes, floral engraving, or Celtic knots.
Max stared at them, overwhelmed for a second by how serious it felt.
This wasn’t just a ring.
It was Belle’s future wrapped around her finger.
It was a promise he intended to keep for the rest of his life.
Emilie nudged him gently with her knee under the table. "You’re okay," she said quietly. "You’ve already made the most important decision. This is just picking the outfit for it."
Max exhaled slowly and leaned in, studying the designs.
He pointed to one — simple, stunning, an oval emerald cradled in a four-prong yellow gold setting, surrounded by diamonds, the inside of the band left smooth for an inscription.
"This one," he said roughly. "But I want the stone a little lower. So it doesn’t snag."
The saleswoman smiled approvingly. "Excellent eye, sir."
They finalized the adjustments, confirmed timelines (discreetly expedited, of course), and signed the paperwork.
Max handed over the deposit without blinking.
When it was done, he stood awkwardly in the middle of the boutique, feeling somehow lighter and heavier all at once.
Emilie looped her arm through his, squeezing. "You did good, Verstappen."
"Yeah?" he asked, voice low.
She looked up at him, eyes suddenly bright. "You’re giving her something no one else ever did," Emilie said softly. "You’re choosing her first."
Max swallowed hard. "She deserves it," he said simply.
And he meant it with everything he had.

@/verstappenfiles: there’s just no way she’s not with max right??? you don’t just rope in your extremely grumpy father to do nursery wallpaper with your brother’s "friend" unless it’s SERIOUS

@/redbullstan89: petition to get a documentary crew in there IMMEDIATELY because whatever this is, i want to see it unfold in real time
@/f1girlies:  petition to make “isabelle leclerc hanging wallpaper with jos verstappen” the new unit of measurement for how confusing the f1 world is
@/pitlaneconfessions: still can’t believe victoria posted that and acted like it was NORMAL like “here’s belle and jos, wallpapering together” no context no explanation iconic behavior honestly
@/charlespills: charles leclerc obliviously posting selfies from golf while his sister is bonding with jos verstappen is soooooo on brand

After you had moved to Korea, you made it your sole goal to be completely fluent in Korean as soon as possible. You knew the basics and some vocabulary that got you through day-to-day encounters, but holding an actual conversation past introductions was rather difficult. So, this is how you found yourself in your current situation. Your best friend and fuck buddy of 2 years giving you weekly Korean lessons.
And this? This was a normal thing between you both. Sitting in his lap practicing while he sits there explaining things and kneading your thighs mindlessly. It was a normal occurrence! The only difference is you usually wore sweats or some sort of bottom that would cover your legs more. Today was one of the hotter days of the week, so you disregarded the extras and opted to only wear one of his shirts, nothing else.
His hands rubbed eagerly up and down your thighs, squeezing the flesh like he does with soft pillows. Again, it was normal, but today he seemed to be restless with his movements. You couldn’t help but let out a shaky breath when he mindlessly squeezed the flesh of your inner thigh rather roughly while he translated a word you couldn’t figure out. “What is up with you today? You’re more touchy-feely than usual.”
“Sorry haha. Had a long day so I’m fidgety.. And you know I can’t resist you in nothing but my shirt.” You only hummed in response. You believed what he said, but you also knew that he wasn’t stupid and that the apology was not for his roughness as much as it was for how riled up he knew you were getting. He was never actually sorry about being physically affectionate with you, but you both knew how you tended to get very horny when his hands were on you so desperately.
“Mmmm.. Let me play with you a little while you read, okay?” You shake your head and push your study items away, pulling a laugh from him when you mumbled out ‘Fuck that, I need you.’
“None of that hahaha. Focus on the reading, honey.” He said, placing a kiss on your cheek before leaning down and biting into your neck. You groaned and leaned back into him, grinding against him in an attempt to make him fold in your favor. He let the first few grinds pass as he left hickeys along your neck, but the second your hands cupped him through his shorts he grabbed your hips to still your movements.
“Hey.“ The commanding tone in his voice caught you off guard and had your hands immediately stop in their tracks. “Stop that. You’re going to finish reading this text and then I’ll fuck you nice and good.”
“It’s not that serious, Chris. It's just a few paragraphs, we can do it after or just skip out this week.. Plus it’s your fault I’m this horny anyways.” The attitude in your voice makes him narrow his eyes, and then he grabs your chin and angles you to look back at him.
“Watch your tone. And I’m not gonna tell you again,” His hand grabbed both of yours and placed them on the table before moving to spread your legs open for him. Then, he finishes his sentence and enunciates each word with a harsh smack to your bare cunt. “Finish. Reading. The. Article.” The last one comes off harder than the others and it pulls a squeal from you, making your hands shoot down and wrap around his wrist while your legs slam shut against his hand. He grabs from your inner knee and hooks your legs over his, keeping you spread for him, and he pulls your book closer again.
You can feel the teasing smile on his face after he places a kiss on your cheek and then speaks against it. “You only have one article left, honey. The quicker you read it, the quicker I can bend you over and fuck you into the table~” You can’t help but whine and nod. Once you look down at the material again, Chris’ hands that were previously rubbing your inner thigh move back to rub along your wet folds.
Then for what feels like the next hour, but was really just 20 long minutes, you slur out the words in front of you as best as you can. Chris’ left hand swapped between drawing circles into your clit and pinching your nipple, while his right hand shoved fingers against your walls. And every couple of minutes he would swap between kissing your neck to sucking hickeys into your collarbone. However, you weren’t allowed to cum and any time you mispronounced something or took too long to read a word, a stern slap was sent against your clit. As long as you continued to read well, he would pump 3 of his fingers in and out of you.
By the time you’re halfway through the material, your mind is foggy and you’re almost drooling on yourself from the constant edging. By the time you’re on the last sentence, your legs are shaking and you're slumped against him letting out quiet moans. Your neck and collarbone were so red from his incessant suckling, and you were desperate to get this over with. And then, when you finally finished, he stopped all movements to place a soft, congratulatory slap on your thigh and massaged your hips.
“Good girl… Now was that so hard?” With that, he hurriedly clears the desk before helping you stand and then standing himself. The chair you both rested on was kicked backwards and your whole world spun as he suddenly pinned you to the desk. You whined as his hand held a tight grip in your hair and pushed your face into the table. His free hand playfully squeezed and slapped at your ass a few times before you heard his shorts and boxers hit the floor.
You sighed out his name as he teased his tip through your folds, silently pleading with him to hurry it up. “Shhhhhh… ‘Atta girl. You did so well, baby. Now let me take care of you, yeah?”
He finally sunk in and nothing but low, whiny moans left your lips as you clenched around him. His free hand grabbed a handful of your ass, squeezing it in appreciation while he slowly sunk every inch he had to offer. Once he bottomed out he gave you only a little bit of time before his thrusts started, albeit slowly at first but quickly ramping up due to his own impatience. It doesn’t take long for him to change to an unforgiving and rougher pace, his hand still holding your head against the table.
“Fff-fuck.. Christopherrr-”
“Yeah yeah, baby. Daddy’s got you. ‘M nice and deep, just how you like it right?” You missed the way he smirked when you let out a desperate ‘Uh-huh’ in response, but you could feel the way it encouraged him when his hips slammed against yours with more eagerness. He keeps this pace up for a while until he feels you tighten around him, and then he changes to slow, deep thrusts that make your eyes roll into your skull.
The hand in your hair slides on top of yours on the desk, intertwining your fingers, and he leans forward to place his forehead between your shoulder blades, “Mmmm keep squeezing me, Honey. Fffuck, juuust like that..”
When you’re tipping over the edge, he places a kiss on your sweaty skin and moans against it. “That’s it, baby. Cum for me and I’ll fill you up just how you like it, okay?” You want to nod, but everything hits you at once so you can only cry out against your desk.
As your orgasm starts to fade into overstimulation, he fixes his posture and focuses on his hip movements. A squeaky moan falls from your lips as he suddenly bottoms out and the hold on your hip tightens. He threw his head back and bit his bottom lip as he came, attempting to muffle his whiney moans. He rides out his orgasm by sometimes pulling out and snapping his hips harshly against yours.
“Fuck… If that’s how we end the studying session from now on, I might consider this payment.” He jokes.
You let out a breathy laugh and he starts to pull out slowly, pushing you into the table as he did so. You take the moment to catch your breath when you realize he’s gone quiet and there’s the light feeling of breath on your thighs. Your head snaps back and you realize he was kneeling in order to watch his cum slide down your folds.
“Hey!” you whine and place a hand on his forehead, pushing his face away only for him to resist, so you use your feet to push him harder. He laughs at your embarrassment and stands up, pulling you to sit up as well and lifting the shirt off of you. He uses it to wipe you down before throwing it into your hamper and grabbing one of his spare shirts from your dresser. He steals a kiss before covering you in the shirt, then drags you to the living room to watch a tv show together.
You two spend the rest of the night on the couch, watching tv and relaxing in each other’s warmth. It’s no surprise when soft snores are heard and you look down to see his sleeping face squished into your chest. You huff out a laugh before you snuggle him closer. Then, your eyes get heavy until they inevitably close, and you fall asleep too.

How to be confident part 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Be proud of your achievements.
No more people pleasing. Something I had to learn is that you don't have to be everyone's darling.
Get out of your comfort zone. Get a coffee and chat with the barista, go to a concert alone, try a new hobby and so on :)
Talk politely and expand your vocabulary. Reading and writing can help a lot!
Start journaling. Vent when you need to, it doesn't have to be pretty or aesthetic; clean your mind.
Watch your body language. Stand up straight, don't slouch, walk with purpose, and don't hide your hands.
Don't be afraid to ask questions.
Stop chasing people. The ones meant to stay in your life will remain with you. Sometimes we need to distance ourselves from people so we can grow! :)
Moisturized. I get nervous when my lips and hands are dry!
Keep your standards high. This applies to friendships, dating, grades, pretty much anything. Self-respect!!
Don't let people interrupt you!!
Start each day with a positive mindset. Get up in the morning with purpose and try to make the best out of any day. <3
Be on time. Coming late to something important is always a bit awkward.
Use fewer filler words when speaking. Uhm, just, like, I think, etc. Don't be afraid to slow down and think about what you want to say. Take your time!
Don't chase anyone's validation. Instead, do things for yourself and make yourself proud.
Unfollow people on social media that make you feel bad about yourself.
Be kind. I see people on TikTok all the time being rude and mean to appear confident. Let's be honest, they look quite silly, lol.
Have a signature scent! I like something that gives me comfort and helps me stay calm. My fav is vanilla. <3
Don't look at your phone when entering a room or going somewhere. Instead, try being as present as possible, or at least look like you are, lol.
Take care of your appearance. Whatever feels good to you, maybe get a lash lift, find makeup that works for you, clean nails, wear something you like...
Don't tell everyone your insecurities. Putting yourself down is not a good conversation topic.
Make time for yourself. Relax, recharge and focus on yourself. <3
Confidence is a huge deal, so if you have any questions feel free to ask them in the comments or my 'ask me anything'. I will also make a post soon on how to improve your public speaking! <3
I also plan on going through my asks Tomorrow (Sunday), so if you have anything you would like to share or need advice on, just submit it to the link above (the ask on, haha) <33

Blood is Blood
Tumblr media
Summary: You're one of the best attendings in The Pitt, Robby and Abbot trained you up themselves. When you find yourself in a tough spot and need someone to drive you home from an abortion, it had to be Robby.
Warnings: Abortion, vomit, blood, bad boyfriens
A/N: I have not had an abortion, I have had friends who had them and taken care of them after. That is mostly the information I used for this and some stories on reddit, I wanted to rely on patient experience rather than medical procedure and policy for this one.
You had only been an attending for a total of six months, and in that time, you had to help lead the hospital through a mass shooting, the idiot who let off fireworks in the trauma bay, listeria outbreaks 1 through 3, and train the new interns and med students. It had been a lot.
You had leaned on your fellow attendings, trying to learn how to be a leader and the one everyone turned to for everything. Dr. Abbot helped teach you that some people need to be pushed even if they look like they might crumble. Dr. Robby taught you how to make sure everyone was looked after. They both showed you how to carry the weight of every patient and staff member on your shoulders. You figured they would get as tense and tired as theirs were one day.
Robby and you had struck up a friendship and mentorship. It sometimes veered into something else, something neither of you had the confidence to name. Nothing more than flirty jokes and glances across the trauma bay. Besides, you had a boyfriend. Or a sort of boyfriend. You fucked a guy.
“Hey, you look like shit.” Robby smirked as you walked up to the hub desk. Your face pale, shoulders hunched, clearly dehydrated.
“Yeah. Not a great morning.” You sighed.
“You need to go home?” He asked, suddenly concerned.
“Haha. That’s so funny. I’ll be fine. Write me a prescription for Zofran and I’ll be fine.” You groaned as you sat down to start working on your morning paperwork.
“If you need Zofran, you need to go home. Maybe you got that flu that was going around, can’t have you getting patients sick.” Robby shook his head.
“It’s not the flu. I’m fine. Can you just leave it? I’m not in the mood.” You bit back.  Robby’s eyebrows knitted together in concern. You were never angry, not really and never with him or the staff. Hell, a med student vomited on your shoes and you still fussed over making sure they were okay.
“Alright. Don’t push yourself too hard.” He pointed and walked away.
You were grateful he hadn’t pushed it any further. You really didn’t know how to deal with your situation and Robby fussing wouldn’t make it better.
You managed your way through most of the shift, having to stop and sit a couple of times. Something Robby was keenly aware of. You were about to head into another room when your phone rang. Robby watched you take it, something that was also very abnormal for you. You had a strict policy with yourself about phone usage.
“What!? No. That’s not going to be possible.” You snapped. Robby watched as you got frantic with whoever was on the phone.
“F-fine. I’ll figure something out I guess. Yeah, keep the appointment.” You hung up the phone and shoved it back in your pocket as you stomped off to the next room.
“Hey, Dana, what’s going on with her?” Robby leaned over the counter. Dana looked up at him, glasses perched on the end of her nose, then to you and back to him with a confused look.
“How the hell should I know? You two are besties, surely if she wanted anyone here to know, you’d be the first.” She shrugged.
“She’s off today.” Robby wrung his hands together.
“She’s doing fine. You’re just nosey.” Dana laughed. Robby waved her off as he watched you scurry from room to room.
You were grateful when you saw Dr. Shen walk in. You were ready for the day to be over, you were ready before you got out of bed that morning.
“John, I am so glad to see you.” You sighed as you walked up to him.
“It’s nice to be needed.” He smiled as he sipped his coffee. You rolled your eyes as you began to rattle off your cases to him.
“You’re lucky you get Y/N as your number two. Shen still hasn’t found his drive yet. Not sure what I’m going to have to do for that kid to get motivated.” Abbot shook his head.
“Has she seemed off to you lately?” Robby asked as he watched you and Dr. Shen talk.
“No. But we only work together once a week. Why? Something up? You think she’s breaking” Jack leaned in with a concerned look.
“I don’t know. Dana thinks I’m being nosey. I don’t know. I’ll keep an eye on it.” Robby shrugged as he hiked his backpack on his shoulder. He ran to catch up with you as you left.
“Hey, you sure you’re okay? You seemed upset today.” Robby dug through his backpack.
“Just…don’t feel well.” You said, you could feel the emotion catching in your throat. Your body knew when the day was over and would start to make the wall of professionalism crumble.
“You need anything?” He asked as he handed you a protein bar. You often forgot to eat until you got home. He’d caught you when you passed out from low blood sugar once. He tried to shove protein bars at you every couple of hours.
You took it and flipped it around in your hands. You’re mind was racing, too much happening. You stopped in the middle of the sidewalk.
“I…”
“Hey, you two coming to the park? I got those seltzer things you like Y/N.” Donnie smiled.
“I can’t.” You blurted out in a way that made the two men look at you confused. “I’m not feeling well.” You cleared your throat. Donnie nodded and walked off.
“You need me to walk you home? Where’s that boy you’re with anyway? He usually drives you home.” Robby looked around the street.
“We…broke up.” Your voice cracking.
“Oh. I’m sorry.” Robby suddenly felt like an ass. “Come on. I’ll walk you home.” He said, guiding you by the shoulder.
You walked in silence for a while. Robby keeping on eye on you, watching as a thousand thoughts flashed across your face. He wanted to stop and ask what the hell was going through your head but didn’t want to impose. He walked you to the front door of your apartment and was going to start his goodbyes when you grabbed his hand and pulled him into the apartment.
“Whoa, what the hell Y/N?” Robby stumbled into the apartment, nearly face-planting with the force you pulled him.
“Sorry! I just, I need something and I couldn’t ask while people were around and it’s already going to be hard for me to ask and I just feel myself losing the nerve.” Your words falling out of your mouth in a rush of anxiety and desperation.
“Hey, it’s okay. Take a breath. What’s going on?” Robby put his hands on your shoulders.
“I need to ask you a favor.” You bit at your bottom lip, tasting the copper as it started to bleed. You lead Robby into the living room, gesturing for him to sit. He obliged, though his confusion hadn’t lightened.
“Are you in trouble?” Robby ran his hands up and down his legs as his anxiety started to rise.
“No. Well, yes.” You sighed. “Okay, I need you to let me just get all of the information out and then you can ask questions.” You looked at him with big, scared eyes.
“Okay, I’ll be quiet.” He agreed, his brows furrowed still.
“I found out three days ago that I’m pregnant. I didn’t notice any symptoms for so long, most of the ones I did kind of notice I chalked up to stress. When I finally went into my GP to try and get something for my acid reflux, she told me that I was pregnant. Went to the OB, she confirmed it. Problem is, I’m 12 weeks, or I guess closer to 13 now. Anyway, I don’t want to be pregnant and I sure as hell don’t have the time for a damn baby. I got set up for an abortion appointment next Wednesday. Oh! I told Darren, the guy I was seeing. He took off, screamed in my face how it was my fault and left. Prick. Anyway, I got a call today that because it’s further along they’ll have to do a surgical abortion and I’ll be sedated and because of that I have to have someone to take me home or they won’t do it. So, I need someone to pick me up and I love Samira but she’s so young and she still lets secrets slip sometimes and you’re off on Wednesday too and I trust you to keep this to yourself.” You took a breath, feeling like you just did sprints.
Robby sat there trying to decipher the information he had just received.
“Darren screamed in your face? You’re pregnant and he screamed in your face?” Robby felt himself starting to get angry, who the hell does that?
“I think you missed the important part.” You crossed your arms.
“No, I got that important part. I’m taking you to get an abortion on Wednesday. He screamed in your face? Where does he live exactly?” Robby asked as he got his phone out of his pocket.
“He’s an idiot, not important. I’m not giving you that information anyway.” You rolled your eyes.
“I bet Abbot could figure it out. He’d have some shit to mess him up too.” Robby said mostly to himself.
“Jesus, Robby!” You snapped.
“Sorry. I’m sorry. You’re right. Not important. Are you okay? I mean, that’s a lot to deal with.” Robby looked up at you with those soft, brown eyes that could melt snow.
“Y-yeah. It’s not great, but I’m fine.” You shrugged.
“You’ll tell me if you’re not.” He said it as an order more than anything.
“I will. Sorry, I freaked you out.” You tore your eyes from his in an attempt to keep from getting too worked up.
“Okay. What time?”
“Huh?”
“What time do I pick you up?” He tilted his head.
“Oh right. Duh! The procedure lasts about forty five minutes, appointment is at noon so around 12:45pm.” You nodded.
“So, 11:30am. Got it. I’ll be out front at 11:30am.” He nodded
“You don’t have to drive me. I was going to uber there.”
“Honey, Please. Like I’m letting you do that.” He shook his head, a smile spread across his face.
“Uh…” You’re mind going blank.
“I’ll see you Wednesday.” He nodded as he left.
You tried to go about the rest of the week as normal. Unsure how to feel about any of it. It was too much to think about, you put it in a box to deal with later.
You let out a groan as you forced yourself awake, Wednesday morning. You kept to your normal routine, showering, brushing your teeth, putting your hair up. The doorbell went off at 11am. Of course he would be early.
“You’re early.” You raise an eyebrow at Robby who was leaning on the doorway with two coffees.
“Wanted to make sure you had enough time to talk if you wanted.” He said, handing you a latte.
“I’m not supposed to have this.” You scolded.
“Oh we both know that it’s fine. You haven’t eaten anything right?” He asked, taking his sunglasses off.
“No, but they said no coffee.” You said sipping the latte.
“You’ll be fine. Enjoy the caffeine.” He had an Ikea bag slung over his shoulder as he barged into your apartment.
“What are you doing?” You looked at him, confused.
“Where are you going to want to rest up? Bed or couch?” he asked, looking like a man on a mission.
“Um, I was planning on staying on the couch mostly. Why?” You followed him into the living room. “I wanted to get it setup now so we aren’t worrying about it later.” He said as he started pulling things out of the bag.
“What the hell is all that?”
“Right, I did some googling,”
“Dangerous.”
“I found some Reddit posts where women talked about what they needed or wanted when they were recovering. I got you a new heating pad, a new blanket, and one of those neck massagers because it looked cool. I got some snacks, too. I got a big ass water bottle, too, that you will finish today, no arguments.” He said as he started positioning everything within arm's reach.
“Robby, you didn’t need to do all that.” You said, your throat tight with emotion.
“Yeah, well, I wanted to. So, I’m only going to ask once and then we can move on. Are you sure?” He said, suddenly getting serious.
“Thank you. Yes, I’m sure. I can’t…I can’t have a baby right now.” You looked away, the tears stinging as they formed.
“Okay. That’s okay.” He smiled. “Let’s get this done with then.” He nodded as he grabbed your sweatshirt hanging by the door and tossed it to you.
The waiting room for the OB was always so odd. Some people were there to get great news. Some for check ups, just another Wednesday. Some people were there with bad news. No one every really knew how to act. You sat in the uncomfortable chair, your knee bouncing with nerves.
“You okay?” Robby asked.
“Just nervous.” You cleared your throat.
“I forgot to ask, do you want me in there?” He shifted to face you.
“That’s asking too much.” You shook your head.
“It’s really not. If you want privacy that’s okay. But I’m more than happy to sit with you.” Robby smiled. You looked up at him, your hands were shaking and he could see how nervous you were.
“Okay. Yeah. Please.” You stuttered.
“Y/N L/N?” The nurse called out. You jumped up and scurried toward her. She brought you into a procedure room and handed you a gown.
“Hubby, you can help her get dressed.” The nurse said.
“Oh no. I’m not, I’m just here for moral support.” Robby’s face flushed red.
“Could have fooled me.” She chuckled as she left.
“I’ll just turn around, while you do that.” Robby cleared his throat as he faced the wall. You laughed as you gowned up. This man has torn the clothes off of countless patients but the thought of seeing you nude made him blush.
“You can turn around.” You said as you got settled on the bed. Your hands sat on your lap; you nervously picked at the cuticle.
“You doing okay?” Robby sat in the stool beside the bed.
“Don’t laugh, but I really have a hard time with needles and get nervous with sedation.” You sighed.
“Seriously? You’re around needles all day. You sedate people all day.” He scoffed.
“I know, other people. Not me.” You fidgeted with the collar of your gown. Robby realized you were serious and moved to take your hand.
“It’s not full sedation, just enough to relax you. I’ll be here the whole time, so you know there won’t be any mistakes. Okay?” He moved his head so you’d make eye contact. You nodded, afraid if you opened your mouth you’d start crying.
“Good morning, Y/N. It’s good to see you again.” Dr. Smith smiled as she came in.
“Good morning.” You cleared your throat.
“Is this your partner?”
“Oh no, just the moral support.” Robby smiled.
“Okay, do you need me to go over anything, I assume you understand the procedure.” Dr. Smith asked as she sat down across from you.
“No, I’m just ready to get this over with.” You took a deep breath.
“Understandable. Nurse Garcia is going to come in and get an IV going and start the sedation. Once you’re comfortable we’ll get started.” She nodded as she left.
“last chance to make a break for it.” Robby smiled.
“I can’t wait for the drugs, Jesus my hands are sweaty.” You shook your shaking hands. Robby laughed, though he could see the grief forming in your eyes.
“Hello, I’m Nurse Garcia. I’m going to get you hooked up for sedation.” She smiled. She brought a tray over with the IV supplies on it. She started cleaning your arm and your breath started picking up.
“Hey, look at me. You’re okay. I’m not going to let anything happen to you. You know that.” Robby held your hand in his, rubbing the soft skin in circles to distract you.
“Yeah, I know. I know that.” You nodded. His smile made the wrinkles around his eyes form and it made your stomach flip.
“Alright, sweetheart. You’re all set.” The nurse smiled. “I pushed the sedative, you should start to feel it in a few minutes.” She said as she lowered the lights and left the room.
“Not so bad.” Robby shrugged.
“She was good.” You nodded. “You were good.” You smiled.
“Not like I’ve been doing this for thirty years or anything.” He said.
“I should bring you to every blood draw.” You chuckled.
“I’d go if you needed.” He smiled. You couldn’t tell if it was real or the meds, but Robby was flirting. You wanted to flirt back, but this was your abortion and you were starting to feel high.
“Damn, that shit hit like train.” You mumbled as you swayed back and forth.
“Okay, Trainspotting. Lay back before you fall off.” He laughed as he helped you get comfortable.
“You’re so nice to me. I like it.” You smiled up at him sleepily.
“You’re easy to be nice to.” He said as he tucked the blanket around you.
“You aren’t this nice to the other attendings. You wouldn’t tuck Abbot in.” You laughed.
“I don’t think Jack would let me. He’d be an angry sedated patient.” You both chuckled.
“You have nice eyes. I always get all giddy when you smile and they look all gooey.” You mumbled.
“Oh yeah? Gooey?” Robby leaned on the guardrail.
“Yeah, like a sad puppy. It makes my tummy all butterfly-full of butterflies.” You said. Robby should tell you to stop. He should maybe excuse himself, have the nurse sit with you. But he wanted to say the same thing back.
“Alright Y/N. We’re going to get started.” Dr. Smith came in.
“Hooray. I can’t wait to have an empty uterus.” You cheered.
“Let’s get her legs in the stirrups.” Dr. Smith said as the nurse put your feet up.
“I can’t believe I let that stupid boy knock me up. Dumb boys.” You grumbled.
“We are dumb, sorry.” Robby nodded.
“No. You’re not a boy. You’re a man. Men are stupid too but not as much. You wouldn’t scream at me. I need a man.” You grumbled.
“I’d never scream at you.” Robby said as he watched the tears quietly fall down your temples.
“A little sting now. Just to help open the cervix.” Dr. Smith said. Robby took your hand in his. You hissed as the pain hit. “Good. Alright, you’re going to feel some pressure.” Dr. Smith noted as she started her machine.
“It can help to massage her belly.” The nurse nodded to Robby.
“Right. Yeah.” Robby cleared his throat as he put his wide hand on your lower belly and gave a gentle rub.
“Hmm…Warm.” You hummed.
“Almost over.” Dr. Smith said.
“You’re doing great.” Robby said.
“Hurts.” You groaned with knitted brows.
“I know, Hun. Do your best to relax.” The nurse gave your leg a pat.
“Deep breaths, Y/N.” Robby couched.
“Ah! That’s too much!” you hissed.
“I know, just squeeze my hand. You’re nearly there.” Robby brushed some stray hair from your face.
“Okay, sweetheart. You’re all done. Everything looks good. We’ll keep you here for thirty minutes to make sure there’s no reactions and you can go home.” Dr. Smith smiled as she helped the nurse put your legs back down.
“It’s done?” You whimpered.
“Yeah, it’s done.” Robby confirmed with a soft smile. You nodded, trying to keep the tears at bay.
“I don’t want to cry.” You sighed.
“It’s normal. Nothing to be ashamed of.” Robby said, handing you a tissue.
“I wanted this.” Your bottom lip trembled.
“Doesn’t mean it was going to feel good. You’ll be okay.” He rubbed circles with his thumb on the back of your hand.  Robby felt his heart breaking for you. He also couldn’t stop thinking about Darren. That boy would be in trouble if they crossed paths.
“I’m sorry, I asked you go through this.” You sighed, the sedation starting to wear off.
“I’m not. I would hate to know you’d gone through this alone.” He smiled. You looked up at him and you felt the need to ask him if he felt what you did. You were about to say something when the nurse came back in.
“Alright, you are good to go. Remember to take it easy today, the next week if you can. Drink lots of water and good meals. You’ll be bleeding on and off for a while. If you’re going through more than a pad an hour, go to the ER.” She said, handing you some paperwork.
“Okay. Thanks.” You said moving to sit up, Robby held your arms as your head wobbled a little.
“You want some help getting dressed?” Robby asked, keeping his patient care voice on.
“I…I might need it yeah.” You sighed as you fumbled with your underwear. Robby took them from your clumsy hands. He eased them up your legs, his fingers tracing up the skin and leaving goosebumps in their wake. He stopped at the top of your thighs, letting you take over.
“Hold onto my shoulders, step in.” He instructed as he got you into your sweatpants. You finished pulling them all the way on.
“Can you untie the gown?” You asked turning away from him. He hummed in agreement. He pulled the tie and grabbed the gown, tossing it in the laundry bin by the door. He grabbed your shirt and pulled it over your head, his eyes never leaving your back.
“Sit back down, I’ll put your shoes on.” He cleared his throat as he put the shoes on. You watched as he tied them tight, the muscles in his shoulders flexing with his movements.
“Thank you.” You hummed.
“Let’s get you home.” He said, holding out his hands for you. You took them and clumsily got to your feet. You wobbled a little, Robby steadying you with an arm around your waist.
The car ride was quiet, not suffocating but nearing comfortable. You let your head lean against the cool window. You were fighting the nausea, you didn’t know if it was from sedation or morning sickness. You were losing the battle.
“Robby. Robby pull over!” You gasped, suddenly bolt up right.
“Okay, Okay.” He moved the car off the road. You fumbled to unbuckle yourself, flinging the door open. Robby ran around to you, grabbing your hair as you retched into the gutter.  “You’re okay. Easy.” He helped you sit back up.
“Ew.” You groaned.
“You alright?” He asked, looking you over like the trained medical professional he was.
“Yeah. I think it’s fine for now.” You nodded.
You had always had a low pain tolerance. You would break down if you scraped your knee. The pain radiating from your abdomen made you want to break down completely. The walk from the car to your apartment was arduous. You leaned most of your weight onto Robby. He offered to carry you, but you declined due to concerns for his back.
“Okay, let’s get you some Zofran.” He said as you got comfortable on the couch.
“I don’t have any.” You grumbled.
“Yes, you do.” He came back in with the pills. “Had them filled yesterday. Perks of working in an ER.” He smiled, handing it to you. You took them happily.
“Everyone said it wouldn’t be too bad. The liars.” You groaned as you wrapped the blanket around you.
“Different for everyone, you know that.” Robby sighed. “Drink your water. I’ll be back.” He nodded and left. You were going to question where he was going but decided you didn’t really care. Your head felt heavy and you didn’t care to fight it, letting yourself fall asleep.
“Honey, you need to eat something.” Robby’s rough voice lulling you awake. Your apartment suddenly filled with the smell of food.
“Hmm, what?” You grumbled, confused. Robby was standing next to you with a bowl.
“You need to eat so we can give you something for the pain.” He said, handing you a bowl of soup.
“What’s this?” you asked, confused as to where the hell he had found soup in your apartment.
“Chicken noodle soup. My grandma’s recipe, so no jokes. Her’s was better, not sure how.” He shrugged.
“You…made me soup?” You looked up at him, confused.
“Yes. It’s got protein and iron, two things you need most right now.” He said as he lifted a book into his lap.
“What is that?” you pointed to the book.
“Well, I would have hoped you encountered a book in med school at some point.” He teased.  “It’s a book about emotional trauma. My therapist is making me read it.” He cleared his throat as he put his glasses on.
“You brought a book? How long are you planning on being here?” You cocked an eyebrow.
“Until you go to bed tonight. Or you kick me out, whichever comes first.” He said, not looking up from his book. You let out a huff, enamored with this strange man. You ate a spoonful of soup and were surprised by how good it was.
“Fuck that’s really good!” You blurted out.
“Gee thanks.” Robby chuckled.
“I didn’t know you could cook.”
“Cook is a strong word. I get around the kitchen well enough. I make pasta, soup and that’s about it. The soup is in the genes.” He winked.
“I don’t think anyone’s ever made me soup.” You sipped at the broth.
“Really? Your mom never heated up a can when you were sick?”
“Ha! My mother barely checked my temperature if I was sick. I was a nuisance if I was sick. She never stayed home to take care of me. If I didn’t look sick enough, I was faking. I heated up my own soup.” You shrugged.
“Every time you tell me more about your life, I get sad.” Robby laughed.
“Oh, please.” You swatted at him. “You don’t need to stay here. I’m going to be asleep, mostly.” You said.
“Someone needs to make sure you hydrate. You’re terrible at it.” He said, flipping a page. You were going to retort but felt the distinct gush of blood that told you, you needed to change your pad at the same time a cramp squeezed your insides. A finishing move from your reproductive system.
“Oh fuck…” You groaned, hunched over.
“You okay? What do you need?” Robby put his book aside and put his hand on your back.
“Cramps. Blood. The usual.” You groaned. “I need…I gotta go change.” Your face red.
“Okay.” Robby didn’t hesitate to help you up.
“There’s going to be blood everywhere, just turn around.” You warned.
“Oh please. Like blood has ever bothered me, you know better.” Robby chuckled.
“But it’s different blood.”
“Blood is blood and I don’t give a shit.” He shrugged. “You go to the bathroom, I’ll clean this up.” He nodded. You grabbed his hands and heaved yourself up. Sure enough, blood everywhere.
“Damn, I liked that couch.” You shook your head as you hobbled off to the bedroom to get changed. When you came back out, the couch was cleaned up and a new blanket lay ready.
“I got you some OTC pain meds if you need them.” Robby’s glasses sat on the end of his nose as he scrolled on his phone. “Your color is still a little off. Do you want some apple juice? I got one that has iron.” He offered as you stood in front of him, looking confused.
“You got me apple juice with iron?”
“Well, you need to keep your blood sugar up so it’s easier for you to replenish your cells and you are bad about eating well. I knew making you drink juice would be easier.” He said putting his phone away. You watched him for a minute, trying to understand this man that was taking care of you like it was the most natural thing in the world.
“Do you want to fuck me?”
“Whoa, what!?” He looked shocked, his face going red.
“I’m so confused.” You shrugged, going to sit back down.
“Are you feeling okay? Should I be worried about neuro symptoms right now?” Robby gave a nervous chuckle.
“Maybe it’s my bad luck with men or humans in general, but I’ve never had anyone take care of me, let alone to this level, unless they were trying to get something from me.” You wrapped the blanket around yourself.
“Honey, the fact that you weren’t looked after at any point in your life makes me want to take even better care of you.” Robby sighed, leaning on the back of the couch.  “To answer your question, no. I don’t want to fuck you.”
“Oh.” You said, your face flushed with embarrassment.
“I don’t want to fuck you because you just had an abortion and feel like shit. That would be very fucking weird of me.” Robby smirked. “But, if you’re asking if I have feelings for you, then yeah. I thought it was obvious.” He said.
“Obvious? In what world!?” You chuckled.
“I never wanted to make you uncomfortable. But you said that butterfly comment today, and even though you were high, I didn’t want to push it away anymore.” He sighed. “I wasn’t going to say anything tonight, by the way. Was just going to take care of you and go home. You forced my hand.”
“Jesus, Robby! You realize that all of this,” You waved your hands around the apartment and up and down his form. “would make any woman fall desperately in love with you? I already was, but you never gave a girl a chance!” You laughed.
“So, what I’m hearing is that you love me.” He winked.
“You were ready to beat up Darren for screaming at me,”
“Still debating on not doing that.”
“you googled how to take care of me in recovery, drove me to get another man’s fetus aborted, held my hair while I vomited, made me soup.” You scoffed. “Cleaned up my blood! I don’t even know the last time I had a man that didn’t cringe when I leaked through a tampon, let alone helped clean up! Of course I love you!” You shouted.
“Okay then!” He mimicked you.
“So, what now?”
“Now, you take those meds and drink some juice.” He said, looking at you like it was obvious.
“No. No, I mean with us?” You said, grabbing the pills and sipping your water.
“I don’t know. I’m leaving that at your feet, Honey.”
“Why do you always call me Honey? You’ve been doing that since I was a resident.” You cocked an eyebrow.
“You don’t remember? You were fixing up a wound and using an entire jar of Manuka honey on it, when I came in, you had it everywhere. I think that’s when I knew I was done for.” He smiled.

content warnings (please read before continuing): smut, squirting, reader is strong, degradation, babbling, bottom reader, fem reader, overstimulation, levi makes reader count. mdni.
summary: youre the strongest in the room— until you’re under him, babbling his name like it’s the only thing you know.
age in bio or you will be blocked.
creator notes: hihi its jaww!! gonna hop back on my grind and fill up my drafts with posts so i can have them on standby. so sorry for inactivity 😭😭. this might seem ooc for some people (cause we all know levis a HUGE virgin haha) but just ignore whats canon rn and live in a world where he’s experienced in these fields 😭. highkey had to take inspo from other writers’ styles because i cannot write smut in my own style to save my life. holy fentballs. this one is kinda slowburn but not rlly, its just not straight to the point ifykwim. as always, constructive criticism and feedback is always welcomed and appreciated!!!
Tumblr media
you, who has the strength of two blue collared men.
doesn’t cry. doesn’t flinch. doesn’t wince when you hit the ground. does not back down for shit. got slammed during training once and bit through your tongue— yet didn’t even blink.
you don’t even look that strong. to literally everyone, you have the build of someone who minds their business. you look tired. maybe a little mean. people assume they can take you on in a spar and have an easy victory— until they’re thrown over your shoulder with one hand. you lift what needs lifting, does what needs doing, and keeps it pushing.
you and levi met during squad reshuffling. you got assigned to his unit because you had a track record for handling fieldwork solo and keeping a calm head. levi didnt speak much to you at first. just gave orders. short, dry acknowledgements when you executed them well.
but the way you picked up full grown soldiers like paper? the way you carried two jugs of water in one hand, and a gear pack in the other? the way you held formation like a wall?
thats enough to get anyone wrapped, even levi.
one day, during a particularly messy clean - up, he noticed blood running down your leg. you were limping slightly, still hauling equipment. and you looked bored. like it wasn’t even worth stopping over.
“sit down.” he told you bluntly.
“i’m fine.” you attempted to argue.
“i didn’t ask.” he retorted.
so you sat. but you laughed a little.
and that was the start.
after that, he’d call on you more often. partnered you with him during scouting runs. paired you up for drills. you didn’t speak much, but when you did, it was always dry, smart, sharp. simple, just how he liked it.
and then one night, after hours, when the barracks were quiet and your hands were bruised from the day’s work, you ran into him. told a joke that got a small smile out of him. told him goodnight— and actually got a response.
and that was how it began.
levi’s quiet, and you are too. the kind of quiet that has its own rhythm. over time, he learned that you like your tea strong and your bathwater hotter than hell. you learned that he stares too hard when he’s tired, and that he can’t sleep unless something’s covering his hands.
and now he knows you.
he knows how you fold under praise.
how you melt before he even puts anything in.
how your voice gets thin and your breathing starts to skip when he whispers in your ear.
how your legs always twitch when all is said and done.
you’re strong. that’s still true.
but now?
now you’re on the bed, back against his chest, gushing.
“p-please—levi—levi— fuck, —i—i’m gonna— i’m gonna—“
hes fingering you quickly, hitting that spot just right. his other hand’s around your throat— barely pressing. just enough to keep you in place. keep your back arched. keep you open for him.
he watches your face closely. watches your lip tremble. watches your eyes start to roll. and he just tilts his head.
“gonna what?” he asks.
you sob. actually sob.
he pushes in again.
“one.”
your eyes roll. your pussy clenches and squirts, warm and sudden and so loud against his palm it echoes.
he hums.
“there she is.”
you’re crying now. deadass crying, drool on your lips and your hips bucking against his hand, your moans becoming hiccups as your eyes start to flutter.
“levi—levi, please—“
“what?” his voice is low. mean. but calm.
“you wanted more.”
“you wanted to be good.”
“so count.”
you shake your head, whimpering.
“i-i c-cant— levi, i need—i need to—“
he grabs your chin— firm, fingers digging just a little.
“you need to shut the fuck up.” his tone is sharp, slicing clean through the haze fogging up your brain. “youre taking it, that’s what youre doing.”
your breath catches. your body violently twitches. the second orgasm hits before the first even fully fades, and you let out a moan that could genuinely just pass as a scream. you can’t even stop it.
and when you come down, you don’t even really come down.
you crash.
“levi— levi i— hahh— fuhhh— i can’t— please—hahh— fuck, fuckfuckfuck— no more—i—s’too—s’too much—i c-can’t— please—“
you’re slurring every other word, drool clinging to your lips, whole body shaking as he curls his fingers just right and presses down harder with his palm, putting pressure directly on your clit. every time you try to breathe, another moan slips out. it’s like your brain is fried and stuck on a loop.
he just watches it all. listens to you babble and squeal like youve never been touched before.
“then stop running your mouth.”
you let out a high pitched, broken whimper— and it just spurs him on. he doesn’t slow down. definitely doesn’t stop.
you’re twitching, thighs trembling around his wrist, voice climbing up into glassy, desperate moans that barely sound like words anymore. it’s just noise now. messy, choked, wet sounds and the obscene slap of his fingers pumping into you, over and over and over—
“cmon,” he whispers directly in your ear, letting his chin rest on your shoulder. “be good. give me another.”
your eyes roll back, and you squirt for the upteenth time. though, the sound of it is barely coherent through the scream you let out.
oh, and you lose count again.

how i caught entei in leafgreen in the most ridiculous way possible
SO last week i started a pokemon leafgreen file on my childhood cart i've had since my 5th birthday, and one my goals ended up being getting every owned dex entry possible in JUST the one copy of leafgreen without connecting to any other game… and i did. except i forgot one. ENTEI!!
Tumblr media
like probably a lot of you reading this i COMPLETELY forgot that one of the johto roaming beasts is in every copy of FRLG. i never even caught any of them as a kid. which roamer you get is based on your starter (squirtle = raikou, bulbasaur = entei, charmander = suicune) and i happened to pick bulbasaur so my roamer was entei. it does actually ROAM in kanto, aka whenever you change locations, the pokemon moves to a new route. obviously this is a pain in the ass, but it gets even more painful because roamers can flee from the battle and they will the instant you encounter them. you get the chance to throw one ball or use one move and that's it… so like in most pokemon games, you would use a trapping move like mean look to keep the roamer in the battle and turn it into a normal legendary encounter, right? HAHA WRONG
raikou and entei are affected by the ROAMER ROAR BUG in FRLG, which means if they use roar to escape the battle (yes, even in mean look, it doesn't stop roar from working) they just disappear from the game. permanently. forever. you can never capture it. suicune is not affected by this because it doesn't have roar, but my roamer was entei, so uh. the odds were stacked against me. did i want to repetitively encounter the roamer over and over, never trapping it, just throwing one ball each time? or did i want to set up a mean look pokemon only to have to soft reset every time entei used roar? neither option sounded fun and i was going to just give up and master ball it despite REALLY wanting it in a luxury ball like all the other kanto legendaries i had already caught… UNTIL!
Tumblr media
i am a moderator of the ribbon master discord (a different pokemon challenge) and i was just sorta liveposting my thought process about this annoying roamer when gen 3 rng manipulation extraordinaire ddeeffgg crashes into the chat and suggests this fucking bonkers idea. and his bonkers idea is galaxy brain LET ME EXPLAIN
ariados is available in leafgreen's post game by catching spinarak in pattern bush, and of course electrode is a fairly common kanto pokemon. ariados gets access to spider web, which is basically just mean look with a different name (and i completely forgot it existed), it traps the opponent in the battle. but IMPORTANTLY, it ALSO gets access to BATON PASS… which, in gen 3, passes the trapping effect! usually if you were to use spider web and swap out ariados, the opponent would no longer be trapped, but baton pass solves that! and then electrode has the ability soundproof which prevents roar from working, and it even gets thunder wave (paralysis) and sonicboom (consistent 20 damage with no chance of accidental crits) to assist in easier capture of entei! nice!! awesome!! but getting this setup in order is the most ridiculous shit i've ever done in leafgreen
PROBLEM #1: ariados gets baton pass through egg move. in gen 3, egg moves are only passed down by the father and not the mother, so i had to grab a male ledyba, grind it to a high enough level to learn baton pass, then grab a female spinarak and breed them together. unfortunately this means my ariados would be level 1 and i'd have to train it up quite a bit, which leads into my next problem…
PROBLEM #2: ariados is SLOWWW. its base speed is a measly 40 compared to entei's whopping 100! ariados needs to outspeed entei to use spider web first turn so entei can't just run away! i would have to get ariados to a very high level to outspeed entei, grinding all the way from level 1. the one plus side is that the roamers in FRLG are bugged to always have a 0 IV in defense, special attack, special defense, and speed, which means unless entei has a +speed nature, its speed would always be a predictable and relatively low 105 at level 50, which is what it's encountered at. so i had to get an ariados with a speed of 106 or higher.
to get around both these problems as efficiently as possible, while breeding spinarak, i bred quite a few to get one with a +speed nature, and ended up with a jolly spinarak. everstone doesn't work in FRLG unfortunately, so the nature was completely random each time. soon my DAUGHTER WAS BORN after like 2-3 hours of breeding because FRLG eggs are SLOOOW and i was being stubborn about the nature, which i was getting unlucky on LOL
Tumblr media
then i maxed out her speed EVs real quick by fighting picnicker susie on route 13 over and over, who gives 12 speed EVs per battle, 24 with the macho brace, which i was using. this was just to make sure i would reach 106+ speed as fast as possible. then i grinded her levels by repetitively fighting the two trainers right outside the weird chansey dance guy's house in sevault canyon on seven island, right above tanoby ruins. using the vs seeker on them is the best grinding spot in the game since they give 20k experience per fighting both of them and there's a healing spot Right There. i was using exp share and leading with my level 100 jolteon named Egg who i adore with all my heart. ariados, now named koolaid, ended up crossing the speed threshold at level 62! yes this took a while lmao
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
as for electrode, i wanted one at as high of a level as possible so i hopefully wouldn't have to grind levels. i lucked out as electrode is found at a whopping level 64 in cerulean cave's bottom floor. a 5% encounter rate but as i had already caught numerous 5%s for the pokedex, i didn't really care. however it DOES have explosion and i'd rather not have the electrode explode on me before i could catch it which would then send me on a wild goose chase for ANOTHER 5% electrode… so i grabbed the random level 24 poliwhirl with the damp ability, which prevents explosion from working, out of my PC, and gave it a smoke ball from the celadon game corner so i could lead with her and easily run from each encounter that Wasn't Electrode.
Tumblr media
now you may be wondering how i was going to handle capturing electrode once i was actually in the battle because SURELY it would just use thunderbolt or something and instantly murder my poliwhirl. however funnily enough electrode only has two attacking moves at level 64, swift and explosion. explosion obviously doesn't work, and swift is a physical attack in gen 3 due to all normal type moves being physical, this was before the physical/special split in gen 4. electrode's physical attack stat is a garbage 50 and swift only has a base power of 60 so i honestly wasn't concerned. and best of all, poliwhirl gets the move hypnosis, so i could easily put electrode to sleep and start chucking ultra balls… and the smoke ball ended up being useless because i somehow ran into electrode first try what the fuck LOL
Tumblr media
anyways i named them gatorade to match with koolaid. truly the dream entei capturing team. i didn't even feel the need to grind any levels on gatorade, level 64 was more than enough, so i just slapped the two moves i wanted on them - thunder wave through the one-use tutor in silph co, and sonicboom through the move reminder on two island, costing me two tinymushrooms which i thankfully already had and did not have to go out of my way to grind.

however the hours worth of prep ISN'T DONE YET! because uhh…
PROBLEM #3: ariados has to be above entei's level to outspeed it (yes, even if it had a 31 IV in speed AND a speed boosting nature AND maximum speed EVs, it still wouldn't be enough at level 50), which means the repel trick can't be used to encounter it. tracking down the roamer is practically impossible without using repels to cancel out all other wild pokemon, and in gen 3, unlike later gens, you can't put a fainted pokemon in the front of the party for the repel trick instead. and if i DON'T lead with ariados, entei will run away when i try to swap into it. SO i decided i would have to run into entei once first through the repel trick method, which marks it as "seen" in the pokedex, and then i would track its location through the pokedex to encounter it while leading with ariados.
to accomplish this, i simply ran in and out of the building on route 16, going in and out of the grass in the process, which would constantly be randomizing entei's location until it happened to randomize onto route 16. i caught a staryu with illuminate as an ability to raise the chance of entei appearing, which does work while staryu is fainted (wouldn't want to go in and out of the grass while entei was on route 16 without encountering it!) and otherwise led with my level 50 magmar that was on my elite four team named Torch for the repel trick.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i bought a whopping 100 max repels for this task but i ended up getting entei within just a few lol. torch was holding the smoke ball just to be able to run away safely without any shenanigans!
Tumblr media
and now entei was in the pokedex and able to be tracked that way!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
however, there was still ONE more problem...
PROBLEM #4: luxury balls are a pain in the ASS to get in this game! they can't be bought from any shop. the only way to repeatedly get luxury balls in FRLG is to show a pokemon to selphy, a rich girl who lives in resort gorgeous on five island.
i will mostly skim over this because it's boring, but TLDR i had to continuously talk to her, fly back to the pokemon center, get the pokemon she wanted to see out of the PC because the step limit is 250 before she gets sick of waiting which is like nothing (i already had a living dex of every mon obtainable in leafgreen otherwise so this wasn't hard), surf to her, then spam A through dialogue with her butler in which i had a 70% chance of receiving a luxury ball. i did this over 40 times until i had 30 luxury balls, and sold off all the nuggets and other items she gave me. good lord this took a while
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and now with ALL of that setup i was FINALLY ready to capture entei in a luxury ball. this took me literally all day and i was really excited. to consistently encounter entei, i saved in cerulean city and tracked it in the pokedex from there, opening it over and over after changing to any of the four routes connected to the city, and moving to an adjacent route from entei's location when it was close in the hopes of walking onto the same route it moved to when i did. i was following a map made by hangarofroam, he has a video tutorial on how to shiny hunt the FRLG roamers and encounter them as quickly as possible, and i highly recommend looking it up if you want to capture these roamers yourself, but tldr this is the map i was using:
Tumblr media
and once i encountered entei i was finally able to use the strategy i had prepped so long to do... and it worked without a hitch!! entei can't try to use roar first turn because it wastes a turn trying to flee, which is prevented by ariados outspeeding and using spider web... then if it tries to use roar the next turn, i've already switched into electrode to block it with soundproof. so from there it's just a matter of whittling down entei's HP to the red with swift/sonicboom and paralyzing it with thunder wave, then tossing luxury balls until success!
and i GOT IT after 3 encounter attempts and 73 luxury balls thrown. and FINALLY i have all 171 national dex entries possible in a single copy of leafgreen with no connection to other games, and all the legendaries are in fancy ass luxury balls. i am winning.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
this was ridiculous. please be proud of my accomplishments. i've had this file for less than 2 weeks and i already have over 70 hours of gameplay in it after doing all this AAAAA
Tumblr media
also barely related but look at Egg my jolteon he had like no purpose in this story but i took a pic of him in front of entei before going on to capture entei because i love him so much pleas
Tumblr media
thanks for coming to my fucking ted talk i am SOOO normal about pokemonsdfjkfds (joke)

Leona has never been one for dreams.
Dreams are a fool’s game, a glimmer of hope strung out in front of desperate people, forcing them to chase something they’ll never catch. He learned early on that hope was nothing but a pretty lie wrapped in a silver ribbon, and in the end, the ribbon always frayed.
The world never made space for second sons, and the sun never rose for men like him.
He should have stopped waiting for it years ago.
But somehow, you're still here—sitting beside him in the shade of a tree, legs stretched out, your presence quiet yet steady. You don’t say anything, and he doesn’t need you to. That’s what he likes about you. You don’t fill the silence with empty words or meaningless comfort. You don’t try to fix him, like so many others before you.
You just exist beside him and that’s enough.
Leona doesn’t remember when you became his safe place.
At some point, your presence became a constant, as natural as the way he stretches out on the grass for an afternoon nap or the way the sun burns through the endless sky. You were just there—like an inevitable force of nature.
And damn if he doesn’t resent how much he needs it.
Because he does need it. He needs you in ways he’ll never admit aloud, in ways that make his stomach twist and his throat tighten. You make it so easy to believe, even when he’s spent a lifetime telling himself not to.
Somewhere along the way, you learned him too well. You can tell when his bitterness sharpens, when his patience wears thin, when he’s barely holding onto the threads of his temper. You don’t try to drag him into the light, but you don’t let him drown in the dark, either.
Instead, you just sit with him.
Like now.
Leona exhales, tipping his head back against the rough bark of the tree. The weight of the past few days lingers in his bones, making him feel heavier than usual. The exhaustion never fully leaves—it clings to him like a second skin.
“I know what you’re thinking.” Your voice is soft, cutting through the stillness.
Leona cracks an eye open. “Doubt it.”
You huff, barely phased by his dry remark. “You think nothing’s ever going to change. That you’re stuck in a cycle you can’t break. That waiting for things to get better is pointless.”
He stiffens, the words settling deep in his chest like stones. “You got all that just from lookin’ at me?”
“I got all that from knowing you.”
That shouldn’t make his heart stutter the way it does.
He doesn’t say anything, just turns his gaze back to the horizon. It stretches on endlessly, a vast expanse of golden plains and open sky. The view should be freeing. Instead, it feels like a cage with invisible walls.
A future that will never belong to him.
A throne that will never be his.
A world that will never see him as anything more than the spare.
The sun has never risen for men like him.
“I know what you’re going to say next,” he mutters. “That I should ‘keep trying.’ That things’ll ‘work out’ eventually. That if I just—”
“I’m not going to say that.”
He stops.
You tilt your head, a gentle smile pulling at your lips. “I’m not here to tell you to change. I’m not here to tell you things will magically get better. I just…” Your fingers brush over the back of his hand, tentative and warm. “I just want you to know that you don’t have to shoulder it alone.”
His breath catches.
No one has ever said that to him before.
No one has ever meant it before.
Leona has spent his whole life carrying the weight of his own bitterness, his own resentment, his own failures. No one ever told him he could set it down. No one ever offered to help him hold it.
No one but you.
His fingers twitch under yours.
Leona has never been one for dreams.
But when he looks at you, he wonders if maybe, he’s been waiting on the wrong thing all this time.
He doesn’t realize he’s in love with you until much later.
Maybe it’s the way you laugh, soft and easy, like the world has never once hurt you. Maybe it’s the way you look at him—like he’s not a disappointment, not a failure, not a second son who never mattered. Maybe it’s the way you never push him to be anything other than who he is.
Maybe it’s everything.
But when he finally does realize, it hits him like a landslide.
And suddenly, he’s terrified.
Because what if he loses this?
What if he loses you?
Leona doesn’t pray, but he does now.
He prays that you never leave. That you never wake up one day and decide that he’s too much trouble, that he’s too broken, that he’ll never be what you deserve.
He prays that this feeling—the quiet warmth that seeps into his bones whenever you’re around—never fades.
And yet, he still can’t bring himself to say it.
Not yet.
The words finally escape him on a night like this—under a sky filled with stars, your hand resting lightly in his, your head against his shoulder.
“Stay.” His voice is quiet, barely above a whisper.
You shift slightly, peering up at him with wide eyes. “I’m not going anywhere.”
He exhales sharply, his grip tightening around yours. “No, I mean—” His throat works, the words catching like sandpaper. “Stay with me.”
Understanding dawns in your eyes, and for a moment, he thinks you might say no. That you might turn away.
But then you smile—soft, warm, home.
“Okay.”
Leona doesn’t believe in miracles.
But when you press your lips to his, slow and tender and real, he thinks that maybe the sun has been shining on him all along.
He just hadn’t noticed.

In This Life and The Next | J.P.
Tumblr media
You were Harry Potter’s best friend, but loss drove you to steal a Time-Turner which accidentally trapped you in the past — before Harry, before the war.
You swore to keep your distance, but James Potter makes that impossible. The past wasn’t meant to hold you, and falling for him was never part of the plan. And yet you did anyway.
(Due to popular demand, I have made a part 2 as well haha. You may read it here.)
𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘
The weight of the past clings to you like a ghost. You were the hidden fourth member of the so-called Golden Trio, an irony that never ceased to amuse you. A Slytherin among Gryffindors, careful with your image, wary of the ever-watchful eyes of your housemates. Most never associated you with them—not in the day-to-day sense—but when the battles came, you were there.
Until it all fell apart.
Fifth year was meant to be another battle fought in the shadows, Another war where your role remained unseen, unnoticed.
But the fight at the Ministry of Magic exposed you. Your parents saw the truth. Saw where your loyalty truly lay as you stood beside Harry, wand raised, defying everything they had tried to make you be.
And then Sirius was gone.
Harry was shattered. You had already lost Cedric the year before, now you had lost Sirius too; and the war had only just begun.
You should have been smarter. You should have been careful.
But in the deafening quiet of loss, desperation clawed at your throat. And so, the Time-Turner was yours.
Or it had been. Before Filch’s mangy cat caught a whiff of your presence, Before the old squib’s voice rang out like a death sentence, Before you turned too quickly, and the fragile magic of time cracked beneath your fingertips.
A light, too bright to comprehend. A force, too strong to fight. And then, silence.
When you wake, the air is wrong. It’s thinner, richer, Like Hogwarts itself has taken a breath it hasn’t in years. Your body knows before your mind does.
The halls stretch before you, Unchanged yet entirely foreign. Time has unraveled, and you with it.
Dumbledore. You need Dumbledore.
Your feet take off before you can even process, A silent incantation for speed, A wish against all logic that this is just a dream. A terrible, cruel trick of fate.
Then, four figures round the corner. Books clutched in their hands, laughter bright as the sun—
You don’t have time to stop. And neither do they.
Impact. A tumble of limbs, parchment scattering like autumn leaves, And suddenly, you are staring into a pair of hazel flecked with gold. Obscured behind glass, but still shining. Still burning.
He’s beneath you, startled and wide-eyed, chest rising, breath mingling with your own. For a moment, the world tilts. And then you remember where you are.
You shove yourself up, heart hammering, muttering a curt, "Sorry." A flick of your hand, a rush of raw magic. Every book, every page, lifts into the air, Falling back into their arms as if nothing had ever happened.
"How—?"
You don’t stay to hear the end of the question. Their voices chase after you, stunned, breathless.
"Wait!" "Come back!"
But you are already gone, racing towards an office where a wizard waits. The gargoyle shifts with a whispered password— Sherbet Lemon. And then—
Dumbledore’s eyes twinkle with quiet understanding, A knowing smile curving his lips as he watches you catch your breath.
"To whom," he says, voice like an old melody, "Do I owe the pleasure of meeting?"
𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘
You sit across from Dumbledore, his piercing blue eyes studying you with the quiet patience of a man who has seen far too much. There’s no point in holding anything back. You’ve learned the hard way that the old wizard always knows more than he lets on. So you lay it all out—the Ministry, your parents, the Time-Turner, the light, the fall through time. Everything.
He listens without interruption, nodding in places, steepling his fingers as he considers your words. When you finish, he reaches for the remnants of your shattered Time-Turner. His expression turns grave as he turns it over in his palm.
“This,” he says, “is beyond repair, at least by conventional means.”
You swallow hard, gripping the arms of your chair. The weight of his words settles over you like a stone. You had held onto the hope, however slim, that fixing it would be a simple matter. That there would be some ancient magic, some forgotten spell, something that could set this all right. But Dumbledore’s voice leaves no room for false hope.
“Other Time-Turners exist, of course,” he continues, “but using them while already displaced in time could be… catastrophic. It is a risk we cannot take.”
You stare at him, your mind racing. “Then what am I supposed to do?”
Dumbledore smiles gently. “For now, you will remain here. You must be cautious. The future you know is still in flux. If we are to find a way to send you back without unraveling the very fabric of time, it will take patience and great care.”
You exhale, trying to keep the panic at bay. “And what am I supposed to do in the meantime?”
“You will be a student,” he says simply. “Blend in, keep your head down, and trust that I will do my utmost to find a way forward for you.”
He pauses, then adds, “You are, as it turns out, approximately twenty years early. Voldemort’s influence is growing, but war has not yet darkened these halls.”
The knowledge does little to comfort you. The storm is brewing. You’re stuck in the past, an era on the cusp of war. And the people you know—the people you love—are either mere children or not even born yet.
“To help you adjust, I will have the fifth-year Slytherin prefect assist you,” Dumbledore says, rising from his seat and moving toward his fireplace. He tosses a handful of powder into the flames, calling out, “Evan Rosier.”
You recognize the name instantly. A Slytherin. A future Death Eater. A name written in blood and war.
Moments later, a tall, dark-haired boy steps into the office. He carries himself with an easy confidence, his sharp eyes scanning you with curiosity before flicking toward Dumbledore.
“Ah, Professor,” Evan greets, his voice rich with charm. “How may I be of assistance?”
Dumbledore gestures toward you. “Miss Y/L/N is a transfer student joining us rather late in the year. I trust you’ll help her find her footing?”
Evan turns his full attention to you, flashing an effortless smile. “Well, well. A new face in Slytherin. Don’t worry, darling, you’re in good hands.”
You eye him warily, but there’s no hostility in his gaze, only amusement. You nod, allowing yourself a small, relieved smile. Whatever else he may become, right now, he’s your best chance at surviving this timeline.
The next morning, Evan proves to be as good as his word. He introduces you to his friends—pureblooded Slytherins with sharp smiles and sharper tongues. They are polite but distant, willing to accept your presence without prying into your past. A blessing.
You settle into the routine easily enough. Classes are familiar, though your mind often drifts. You don’t need to listen; you’ve already learned all of this. Instead, you lose yourself in thoughts of how to return to your own time.
You barely notice the group of Gryffindor boys across the room at first, though they certainly notice you. They whisper amongst themselves, occasionally glancing in your direction.
“She’s not in any of our classes,” one of them murmurs.
“Must be a transfer,” another says. “Or a Ministry kid.”
“Doesn’t look like she belongs with the snakes.”
The dark-haired one with glasses tilts his head, studying you as if trying to place if he has seen you before. The one beside him, lounging with an easy smirk, murmurs something you don’t catch, his expression amused. Another, quieter boy watches you with a thoughtful look, while the last fidgets in his seat.
It’s only when Professor Slughorn calls your name that you snap out of your daze.
“Miss Y/L/N, perhaps you’d like to share with the class how one might enhance a Draught of Peace?”
The answer comes to you instantly, your voice steady as you list the ingredients and the precise modifications required to strengthen the potion’s effects. The class falls silent. Even Slughorn looks impressed.
“Well done, well done!” he exclaims. “Such advanced knowledge! You must have had an excellent education before coming here.”
You nod absently, but your attention shifts to the boys, who are now watching you with more interest than before. The smirking one nudges his friend, saying something under his breath. You don’t care enough to wonder what.
Over the next few days, you begin to notice one of them more than the others. The black-haired one—the one with the smirk. Every time you pass them in the halls, he calls out to you.
It starts as playful comments, harmless teasing, but soon it shifts to outright attempts to get you to talk. You ignore him. You never try to learn his name.
Eventually, they corner you in the courtyard, cutting off your escape with easy grins and folded arms. You tense, but they don’t seem hostile—just insufferably persistent.
“So,” the smirking one drawls, tilting his head, “are you going to tell us your life story, or do we have to guess?”
“I prefer my privacy,” you say coolly.
The quiet one studies you with careful curiosity, while the smallest of them shifts nervously on his feet. The one with glasses leans against a pillar, watching you with barely concealed amusement.
“Fair enough,” he says. “At least tell us your name.”
You hesitate. There’s something familiar about two of them—the smirking one and the quiet one. A nagging feeling at the edge of your mind, something just out of reach.
“Only if you tell me yours first.”
The one with glasses grins. “James Potter.”
Your breath catches.
“Sirius Black,” the smirking one adds.
“Remus Lupin,” the quiet one says with a polite nod.
“Peter Pettigrew,” the last one murmurs.
The names hit you like a stunning spell.
James Potter. Sirius Black. Remus Lupin. Peter Pettigrew.
The Marauders.
Something clicks into place. You stare at them, your mind racing. You were supposed to keep your head down. Lay low. Follow Dumbledore’s instructions.
But looking at them now, knowing what’s to come—the war, the betrayals, the deaths—an idea takes root.
Maybe you can change things.
Maybe they don’t have to suffer the way they were meant to.
Maybe you don’t have to let history repeat itself.
You step forward, closing the distance between you, and this time, when you look at them, you allow yourself to truly see them. The boys they are. The men they will become.
And then, you smile—your brightest, most dazzling smile, the one that catches them off guard. The one that makes Sirius falter, James’ confidence flicker, Remus’ breath hitch, and Peter’s ears burn red.
“My name is Y/N,” you say, offering your hand to Sirius but letting your gaze sweep over all of them. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.”
For a moment, they’re stunned into silence. Then, Sirius recovers first, a slow, intrigued smirk curling on his lips as he takes your hand.
“Oh,” he murmurs, voice softer than before, “this is going to be fun.”
𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘
The Marauders welcomed you into their world with open arms, though not without reason. Your talent in spellcraft and potions—your effortless way of turning theory into something tangible—left them in awe. Sirius, ever the audacious flirt, found your sharp tongue amusing; Remus, the quiet intellectual, respected your mind; Peter admired you from the sidelines. But James... James was something else entirely.
Among them, it was James you understood best. Perhaps it was the echo of a friendship once sacred in another life, or perhaps it was something far more complicated. There was an unspoken rhythm between you, a seamless give and take that made you forget, if only for a moment, that he was meant for someone else. That he had chosen a different ending to his story.
There were moments—fragments of time suspended between heartbeats—where you could swear he felt something for you. The way his gaze lingered a second too long, the way his laughter softened when it was only for you. But you never let yourself believe in those fleeting instances. You knew better. You knew James Potter belonged to Lily Evans.
You watched as he continued his pursuit, his flirtation with her a daily ritual. And though Lily rejected him time and time again, James never faltered, never seemed wounded by the refusals. He laughed them off as if they were nothing more than a game. It was strange—how his persistence never wavered, how he seemed entirely unbothered by her dismissals.
𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘
Evan Rosier was a puzzle in his own right. You had grown close despite the lines that should have kept you apart. He did not fit the mold of a Death Eater, at least not in the way you had always imagined. He questioned your loyalty to the Marauders but never pressed. He was observant, though—far too perceptive for your liking.
"You act as if he's untouchable," Evan mused one evening, his voice low. "As if you've already decided how this ends. But tell me—did he ever say you couldn't touch him? Or is it that you've never even tried?"
You scoffed, shaking your head, unwilling to engage in his mind games. "It doesn’t matter. He belongs to Lily."
"And yet, you watch him like you wish he didn’t."
You ignored him. But his words lodged themselves into the cracks of your resolve, and for weeks, they lingered.
Then came the morning everything changed.
James had asked Lily to Hogsmeade again, only to be met with the usual rejection. But this time, she laughed, saying, "The only way I’d say yes to you is if Y/N says yes to Sirius."
A joke. A meaningless quip. But Sirius, ever the performer, turned to you with a smirk and asked for a date to Hogsmeade.
And to the Great Hall’s utter shock, you said yes.
Sirius blinked, stunned, before breaking into a delighted grin. James choked on his water. You paid it no mind.
"Are you serious?" James asked, voice strained.
You smirked. "No, he is. But yes, I’m serious."
Sirius, unable to contain his excitement, immediately turned to Lily. "There you have it! A double date it is!"
James looked... lost.
His easy confidence, the unshakable bravado he always wore like armor, faltered. His grin didn’t quite reach his eyes, his fingers tightening ever so slightly around his goblet. For the first time, he seemed unsure. Caught between surprise and something else, something unreadable.
"You’re joking," he said, but there was no laughter in his voice.
You tilted your head. "Do I look like I’m joking?"
Sirius let out a bark of laughter, clapping James on the back. "Looks like Evans is finally giving you a chance, Prongs! And all it took was a little friendly motivation."
James barely reacted. His grip tightened around his goblet, knuckles going white. For a moment, he looked as though he wanted to say something, wanted to protest, but the words never came.
You took a sip of your pumpkin juice, pretending the way he stiffened didn’t make your chest feel unbearably tight.
𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘
The day of the Hogsmeade trip arrived, and an unsettling feeling crept into your chest. To see James with Lily—it made you feel sick. You couldn’t do this. You weren’t meant to be part of this story, not like this.
So you asked Evan for a favor.
When the Marauders arrived at the courtyard, Lily was already there, nervously smoothing her robes. James had taken longer than usual to get ready that morning—Sirius had noticed. James had asked too many questions. Questions about you.
Evan approached them, hands in his pockets, looking wholly unbothered. "She’s not coming," he said simply. "Feeling under the weather. Told me to pass the message."
James went rigid. "What do you mean, not coming?"
Evan shrugged. "What I said."
And then, before anyone could react, James was gone, his feet carrying him toward the castle without a second thought.
Lily stared after him, stunned. Sirius exhaled slowly, exchanging a knowing glance with Remus. "Well," he muttered. "That explains that."
In the hospital wing, you lay in bed, feigning sleep, when the doors slammed open. James stormed in, eyes wild, chest rising and falling as if he had just run the entire way.
You blinked. "James?"
He let out a breath, as though only now allowing himself to breathe. "Are you okay?"
"It’s just a bug, James. Madame Pomfrey’s already on it." You studied him, confused. "What are you doing here?"
Before he could stop himself, the words tumbled out—raw, instinctive.
"Because you're more important."
Silence.
His own words seemed to catch up with him, his breath hitching as the weight of them settled between you. But then, as if steadying himself, he said it again. Quieter this time, but with even more certainty.
"You're more important."
The world stilled.
Neither of you moved, neither of you dared to break whatever fragile thing had just shifted between you. But then, without another word, James pulled up a chair and sat beside your bed, as if it were the most natural thing in the world. And just like that, the Hogsmeade trip was forgotten.
The words he had spoken still hung in the air, unanswered, undeniable. But neither of you spoke of them. Not yet.
And so, you spent the day together, in quiet understanding.
𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘
The air between you and James had changed. It wasn’t obvious, not something others would immediately notice, but you felt it in the way his gaze lingered just a moment longer than before. In the way his teasing remarks had softened, uncertainty peeking through the cracks of his confidence. In the way your pulse stumbled whenever he brushed past you along the halls, warmth radiating from where his fingers barely touched your sleeve.
You never spoke of that night.
Never spoke of how his voice wavered when he said your name, or how the weight of his words still hung in the air between you, suspended in time, unresolved. But it was there. In every sidelong glance, in the way he hesitated before speaking, in the uncharacteristic silence that followed moments when he should have been boasting, laughing, filling the space with his usual bravado.
Instead, there was hesitation. A quiet uncertainty that made him different from the James Potter everyone knew.
And then one evening, as you lingered in the library, the candles burning low and the soft rustle of parchment filling the quiet, James leaned in, voice lower than usual, almost hesitant.
"Come with me tomorrow night. Just us."
His words were simple, but they carried weight. There was no teasing lilt, no playful grin—just James, asking, waiting.
And because he looked at you like that, like you were something precious, something worth waiting for, you found yourself saying yes.
The smile that broke across his face was unguarded, wide and bright, and for a moment, just a moment, you let yourself enjoy it.
You spent the next day preparing, carefully picking out what to wear, ensuring you looked your best without making it obvious you had tried. Before heading out, you ran into Evan, who gave you a knowing look the second he saw you.
"It's not what you think," you said quickly, adjusting your cloak as if that would somehow make your words sound more believable.
Evan only hummed, crossing his arms. "You need to stop bullshitting me. And yourself."
His words hit harder than you expected, giving you pause. But you shook it off, refusing to let them settle.
James was waiting for you.
And when you arrived at the Astronomy Tower, you found that he had set up a candlelit dinner, the soft glow casting golden light over the stone walls. He had put effort into this, into making this night something memorable. And it was.
You laughed more than you had in weeks. He made you forget, even if just for a little while. But James could always read you, and when your laughter quieted, when something flickered behind your eyes, he noticed.
"It’s nothing," you said, shaking your head.
James studied you, his expression softening. "That’s not true. I see it. And I want to understand because…"
A breath. A hesitation. Then, quieter, steadier:
"Because I’ve fallen in love with you. Irrevocably. Helplessly. In a way I never saw coming and can’t seem to stop."
His words stole the air from your lungs. You were stunned, frozen in place, but then—
Then he moved, slowly, hesitantly, closing the distance between you. His hand was warm when it brushed against yours, his gaze flickering to your lips, seeking permission. And you let him.
Until you couldn’t.
Until the memories crashed into you like a wave—memories of Harry, of the stories, of everything that had been written and everything that was meant to be.
You pushed him away.
James staggered back, eyes wide, hurt flashing across his face. "I—sorry, I didn't mean to—was that too fast?"
"No!" You rushed to say, your hands trembling. "It's not you, James. You’re perfect. It’s just… I can’t have you."
Confusion twisted his features, and he took a step closer. "Yes, you can. Because you already have my heart."
Tears burned at the edges of your vision. You shook your head. "James… I need to tell you something. The truth."
And so you did. You told him everything.
That you were from the future. That history had already been written, and that in it, he was meant to be with Lily Evans. That you were never supposed to be here, in this time, in his life.
He believed you. He believed you were from the future, but what he couldn’t believe was that he would ever choose Lily over you.
"No," he said, shaking his head. "I don’t care what’s supposed to happen. I don’t care what some other version of me chose. This me—the me standing in front of you—can’t imagine any future that doesn’t have you in it."
"You have to," you whispered. "Because we were never meant to be."
You turned to leave, but James caught your wrist, his grip desperate. "Please," he pleaded, voice breaking. "Don’t go."
"Let me go, James," you whispered. "Please."
And the moment he saw the tears in your eyes, he did.
𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘
When you returned to your common room, Evan was waiting for you. He didn’t ask what happened. He just pulled you into his arms, and you let him, burying your face in his shoulder as the weight of the night crashed down on you.
Fifteen minutes passed before he finally spoke.
"Dumbledore asked for you."
Your breath hitched. You knew what that meant.
You freshened up, steeling yourself for what was to come, and went to Dumbledore’s office. He greeted you with kind eyes, telling you that the way back was ready—but that you had a few days to say your goodbyes if you wished.
But you hesitated.
"What if I stayed?" you asked, the words slipping out before you could stop them.
Dumbledore studied you, thoughtful. "The laws of time travel suggest that what has happened before will happen again," he mused. "But in your case, I am not certain. Perhaps the previous timeline would cease to exist. But tell me—are you truly willing to leave the people you once knew for the ones you have now?"
And there it was. The question you had been avoiding.
Because if you stayed, Harry might never exist. And that was something you could never risk.
"What happens to everyone here when I leave?" you asked instead.
Dumbledore sighed. "I suspect they will forget you. As if you never existed."
Your heart clenched, but maybe… maybe that was for the best.
You swallowed. "Then let's get it over with."
You twisted the Time-Turner. The world spun, magic crackling in the air, and when it stilled, you were back in your rightful time—twenty years later, in Dumbledore’s office.
He stepped out, his gaze falling on you with quiet understanding.
"I take it my past self was of some help?" he asked.
You nodded. Your voice was barely above a whisper. "Do you remember me? From twenty years ago?"
Dumbledore's smile was sad. "I’m afraid I do not."
And with that, you knew.
James had forgotten you.
Sirius. Remus. Even Evan. None of them would remember.
But you steeled yourself. You had made your choice and you need to find out if he made it out alive. If all of them made it.
So you turned away and went to find Harry.
Because now, after everything, you needed to see him more than ever.
The Great Hall buzzed with idle chatter and the occasional clang of cutlery against plates. The ceiling mirrored the grey clouds above, a prelude to a storm. You walked through the long tables, your steps slow, measured, yet drawn forward by an unseen force. And then you saw them—Harry, Hermione, and Ron, their familiar forms hunched together in easy conversation over a half-finished meal.
Your lips parted before you could think. "Harry."
He looked up at the sound of your voice, eyebrows raised in a question he never got to ask. You closed the distance between you in a heartbeat, wrapping your arms around him before he could say a word. He stiffened for only a second before his arms came around you, warm and firm, holding you as if he knew, somehow, that you needed this more than words. It was the feeling of coming home after a long journey, of stepping inside to a crackling fireplace and a cup of hot cocoa waiting on the table. A safe haven in human form.
You pulled back slightly, just enough to look at him. Really look at him.
And what you saw sent a tremor through your bones.
He had his mother’s eyes—there was no mistaking that. But the rest of him…
His jawline wasn’t his father’s. His nose was longer, sharper. His cheekbones more defined, the shadows cast upon them a different kind of familiar.
"Is that really you?"
He gave you a lopsided smile. "In the flesh."
But he could sense something in your expression. A flicker of unease, a question you hadn’t yet found the courage to voice. He glanced at Ron and Hermione before turning back to you. "Let’s take a walk."
You barely registered Hermione’s inquisitive gaze or Ron’s mouth opening in protest before Harry had already abandoned his half-eaten lunch. You followed him, feet moving on instinct, the weight in your chest growing heavier with each step. The corridors of Hogwarts stretched endlessly before you, silent save for the distant echoes of moving staircases and portraits whispering in the background.
For a while, you simply walked, letting the quiet settle like dust on old memories. Then, Harry spoke first.
"Are you okay?"
You exhaled. "It's been a long day."
Your eyes flickered to him again, studying him, mapping his features like an unsolved puzzle.
"Harry… is it truly you?"
He stopped walking, turning to face you fully. "Yes. Of course, it's me. What makes you thing otherwise?"
Your fingers lifted before you could think. You traced them over his face. His cheekbones, his jaw, the slope of his nose. He didn’t flinch, didn’t pull away. He knew you needed to do this. And so he let you.
"You look different," you murmured. "Except for your eyes. You still have—"
"My mother’s eyes," he finished for you, a knowing glint in his gaze. "Yeah, I know. Everyone in my family, including my own mum, never shuts up about it."
Your breath caught. "Your family? Your mom?"
He blinked at you as if you’d just asked if the sun still rose in the east. "Yeah. You just saw her last holiday break when you visited me after spending Christmas with your family."
The world tilted beneath your feet.
His mother was alive.
Your stomach twisted as memories crashed into you, clashing, overlapping, rewriting themselves in real time. It was like two versions of history were vying for dominance in your mind, forcing their way into the cracks of your consciousness.
"Your dad is…" The words left you unsteady, a whisper in the storm.
Harry’s response came easily, like it was common knowledge. "Snape."
Your breath hitched. Your hands trembled at your sides. He must have noticed because he chuckled slightly, shaking his head. "Ex-husband, actually. Mum was smart enough to leave him."
Your mind was a tempest now, an unrelenting tide pulling you under. And then, a name burst from your lips before you could stop it.
"What about James?"
Harry’s brows furrowed. "James? You mean my godfather, James? I see him from time to time at reunions, but he's busy being a big-shot Auror."
You didn’t know what to feel. Relief? Confusion? Grief for something that no longer existed—or had never existed at all?
Harry watched you, his expression shifting to something softer, more understanding. "We’re having a reunion this summer at Sirius’s place. If you’d like to come… I could ask my mum."
You hesitated. Did you want to see him? The James Potter you remembered wasn’t this world’s James Potter. He wouldn’t even remember you.
But you knew it would eat you alive not to go.
So you swallowed the lump in your throat, steadied yourself, and nodded.
"Yeah. I’d like that."
𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘
The reunion was in full swing by the time you and Harry arrived, and almost immediately, the whispers began.
"Harry finally brought a date," someone chuckled.
"They look good together, don’t they?" another murmured.
You and Harry exchanged an amused glance. It had started the moment you walked in together—an assumption neither of you bothered to correct. Secure in your friendship, you merely laughed it off, neither confirming nor denying.
But beneath the surface, your mind was elsewhere.
Would he come?
Harry, perceptive as ever, noticed the way your fingers tightened around your drink, how your laughter was a little too light. The first time he had ever seen you nervous.
"Do you want me to ask?" he offered gently.
You hesitated but nodded.
Harry approached a group deep in conversation and, ever so casually, asked, "Is James coming tonight?"
They exchanged uncertain glances. "He’s working a big case," one said. "Not sure if he’ll make it."
Your stomach dropped, but you forced a smile when Harry returned. He didn’t say anything—he didn’t have to. His presence alone was comforting, the quiet support you needed.
The night went on, the hum of conversation, clinking of glasses, and bursts of laughter filling the space. But there was no sign of him.
"Why is it so important that you meet him?" Harry finally asked.
You opened your mouth to answer, but the words stuck in your throat. How could you possibly explain? You fumbled for something—anything—that made sense.
Then the commotion by the door stopped you cold.
A familiar voice carried over the crowd, casual, teasing, exasperated. "Alright, alright, I know I’m late. Give me a break, will you? I was—"
And then you saw him.
James Potter.
He was older now. A few grey strands peppered his dark hair, and a faint stubble lined his jaw. But it was still him.
Your James.
The room faded into a distant hum as you watched him greet old friends, his easy grin slipping into place like no time had passed at all. You overheard their teasing about his lateness, his quick-witted defense, but your world had narrowed to the man in front of you.
Harry nudged you forward. "Come on. Let’s get you introduced."
Your feet felt heavy, reluctant yet desperate. James and Harry shared a warm reunion, a firm handshake, a clap on the back.
"James, I’d like you to meet someone," Harry said, stepping aside. "This is Y/N."
Your heart pounded as James turned to you. His gaze settled on yours, searching, assessing. He was trying to place you, to sift through the emotions flickering in his eyes. You extended a hand awkwardly, suddenly feeling small.
"It’s nice to meet you," you said softly.
James took your hand, his grip firm, steady. He didn’t let go right away. Neither did you.
He was still watching you. You could see it—something was gnawing at him, something he couldn’t name.
In the background, Harry continued speaking, singing your praises. "Y/N’s the most talented witch at Hogwarts right now. Top of her class, brilliant at—"
But you weren’t listening. You couldn’t. Because James was still looking at you, trying to figure out why this meeting felt like something more. And you couldn’t bear it. You dropped your gaze, staring at where your hands were still clasped.
The moment was broken when Lily’s voice cut through the air.
"James! There you are!"
She breezed into the space between you, drawing his attention. The ease with which she called him, the familiarity, was enough to cement reality in your mind.
James didn’t remember you.
The truth hit you harder than expected.
You let go of his hand, stepping back as he was pulled away. Your vision blurred, the weight of memories clashing with the present.
Harry saw it all. Without hesitation, he was at your side, murmuring quiet reassurances, letting you lean into him just enough to ground yourself.
What you didn’t see was James, glancing back at you from across the room, brows furrowed, lips slightly parted.
Something about you lingered in his mind like a half-remembered dream.
𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘
The night wound down, guests filtering out in slow waves.
You had resigned yourself to silence, lost in thought, when you felt someone approach.
James.
"Harry, can I steal her for a moment?" he asked.
Harry gave you a quick, questioning look. You swallowed thickly and nodded.
Once alone, James exhaled, shifting his weight. "Have we met before?"
Your heart lurched. "Why do you ask?"
"I don’t know," he admitted. "It’s just—" He ran a hand through his hair. "You feel familiar."
A sad laugh escaped you as you turned toward the window. The moonlight caught your profile, casting shadows over your features.
James stiffened.
His breath hitched, his eyes darkened with realization. He didn’t understand it fully—not yet. But he knew.
It wasn’t just unknowing familiarity.
It was yearning.
For something—or someone—he hasn't met. Or perhaps forgotten?
He took a step back.
He shouldn’t be feeling this.
A shaky exhale, then a quick excuse. "I—I should go. I’m needed elsewhere."
Before you could say anything, he turned on his heel and left, leaving you standing in the dim light, aching with the weight of a history he no longer remembered.
𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘
The party had ended, leaving behind only echoes of laughter and the remnants of shared memories. You followed Harry back to his home, where Lily welcomed you with a warm smile. The night air was cool, and exhaustion clung to you as you settled into the makeshift sleeping arrangement—Harry sprawled on the floor, and you curled up on his bed.
Then, a sudden, frantic banging at the door shattered the silence.
Harry bolted upright, his glasses askew as he looked toward the source of the noise. You were already reaching for your wand, but Lily was quicker. She had already made her way to the door, her expression sharp with concern.
"James?" Lily's voice held both surprise and unease as she took in his disheveled state. His eyes were bloodshot, his breaths uneven, like he had been running or crying—maybe both.
"Where is Y/N? Is she here? Now?" James demanded, his voice raw with urgency.
Lily hesitated, glancing over her shoulder. That was when James saw you, standing halfway down the stairs, your grip tightening around the banister.
Without a word, you motioned toward the door. "Let's talk outside."
Lily and Harry exchanged glances before Harry whispered, "Are you sure?"
You nodded, stepping past them and out into the quiet night. The door clicked shut behind you, leaving you alone with James.
He was restless, shifting from foot to foot, his hands clenching into fists and then releasing, like he didn’t know what to do with them. You had never seen him like this—not James Potter, who had always carried himself with unwavering confidence.
Then, he spoke.
"I remember. I remember everything."
Your breath hitched, and for a moment, you thought your heart had stopped.
He took a step closer. "You look exactly the same as the last time I saw you."
You let out a hollow laugh. "That's because, for me, it hasn't even been a few weeks."
His jaw tightened. "You left without saying goodbye. You left me in the worst possible way."
You swallowed thickly. "That night... Dumbledore found a way to send me back."
“Did you have to leave right then?” His voice was hoarse, a man grasping at something already slipping through his fingers.
You hesitated. “…No.”
He closed his eyes, as if bracing himself.
“I could’ve stayed longer, but—I thought I had to leave before I let myself… feel things I shouldn’t.”
Silence stretched between you. Then, softer, he said, “I never recovered from losing you.”
You blinked up at him.
Then, James exhaled, his voice quieter but no less intense. "Ever since that night, it felt like something was missing. And I never recovered from it. So I buried myself in my studies and work, trying to forget. But now I know why nothing ever felt right."
You blinked rapidly, trying to suppress the wave of emotions crashing over you.
"The me in that timeline," he continued, "would never have chosen anyone else. And even when I did forget about you... I still didn’t choose anyone else."
His words cut deep, leaving you breathless.
He took a step forward. “Tell me the truth. You and Harry—is it something serious?”
You shook your head. “No. We’re just… good friends.”
Relief flickered in his features, and suddenly, he was unwavering. “Then I won’t let you go again.”
You turned away. “James, we can’t. The age gap—”
“I don’t care.”
“You have an entire life here—”
“You are my life.”
The conviction in his voice undid you. Your resolve crumbled as you finally met his eyes. He stepped closer, hesitated, then cupped your face gently.
“No matter what timeline,” he murmured, “the James standing in front of you will always choose you.”
Tears pricked at the corners of your eyes as you whispered, "And this Y/N would always choose you, too."
Then you kissed. Soft at first, hesitant, as though testing the waters of something that had been building for years. But then it deepened—urgent, desperate, two lost souls colliding at last.
𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘 𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚𓆚 𓆘
Summer had arrived, bringing with it long days spent with James—wandering through familiar streets, exploring new places, and simply existing together in a way you never thought possible.
Then, one afternoon, while strolling through Diagon Alley, you bumped into Evan Rosier.
He was with his family, looking every bit the composed pureblood he was known to be. James tensed slightly beside you, his Auror instincts kicking in. It was clear he had no desire to associate with Evan, but he knew how much the man had meant to you in another lifetime. So, against his better judgment, he stepped forward first.
"James Potter," he introduced himself, tone even.
Evan gave him a slow, unimpressed once-over. "Ah. The Auror." His lips curled slightly. "Never thought I'd see the day."
James smirked. "Yeah, well, life’s full of surprises."
Then Evan turned to you, eyes narrowing slightly. There was something almost searching in his gaze, a flicker of familiarity that had no place being there. He studied you for a beat too long, as if trying to place a memory that didn’t exist.
"And you are?"
You met his gaze, unfazed. "Y/N."
His expression didn’t shift, but something in his stance did—curiosity tempered by something deeper, something he couldn’t quite name. He hummed, as if testing the weight of your name on his tongue, then let out a soft scoff. "Thought you had better taste."
James scoffed. "Charming as ever, Rosier."
Evan barely acknowledged him, still watching you with that unreadable glint in his eyes. Then, after a moment, he smirked. "Should’ve figured you'd be the type to steal from a crib."
James blinked. "Sorry—what?"
You rolled your eyes. "He's calling you a cradlerobber, James."
James made a noise of offense, looking at you. "Oh, come on, that’s—okay, you know what, I walked into that one."
Evan looked mildly amused at the exchange, but there was something else now—a quiet intrigue, like an unsolved puzzle. He glanced at the bookshop behind him, then back at you. "Tell me, Y/N—since you clearly have some sense—what do you make of the modern takes on alchemical theory? Half these so-called scholars claim they’re making breakthroughs when all they’re really doing is rewording old work."
You raised a brow. "Depends. Are we talking about research in controlled magical reactions, or are you about to go on a rant about how no one's lived up to Paracelsus?"
That actually made him pause. And then, to your surprise, he chuckled. It was quiet, almost reluctant, but genuine. "Alright. Fine. You have my attention."
His wife groaned. "Oh, Merlin, please don't encourage him—he won't shut up about it for hours."
You grinned. "I wouldn’t mind hearing him out over tea."
Evan studied you once more, that flicker of something unspoken still lingering in his expression. He didn’t understand why he was drawn to the conversation, why you felt oddly familiar—but he didn’t question it either. Instead, he simply nodded, the closest thing to approval you’d probably ever get.
"Tea, then."
Addresses were exchanged, and as you and James continued down the street, you found yourself smiling.
Fate, it seemed, had a way of weaving people back into your life—not as they once were, but as they were meant to be.

More Than Muscle
Tumblr media
Hi annon! I’m sorry I’ve never watched One Punch Man and I'm not feeling very well oops, but I have an idea (I think) of what you were expecting though!! hopefully this is good :’)
The boys reacting to reader being super duper strong! ♡
Image above is mine.
Pairings: Zoro, Ace, Law, Smoker, and Luffy x F!reader.
Warnings: None! ᐢ. .ᐢ
Word count: 550 I'm sorry It's so short :(
Zoro > ᴗ•
Doesn’t want to admit you might be stronger than him.
Sees firsthand how powerful your skills are—he’s in awe but would never show it.
Trains harder to try and get on your level, even though in the back of his head he knows it’s probably not possible.
Secretly finds it cute and fun; sparring with you felt like a real challenge.
“Where did all of this come from?” —asking out of sheer curiosity but with a hint of annoyance, knowing you’re beating his ass.
Protects you silently; he sees your strength but knows everyone gets tired sometimes.
Lets you lean on his shoulder, eventually his lap after practice—running his fingers through your hair when he knows you’re asleep.
Ace ´ ᵕ `
Smirking but wants to be your biggest fan on the inside.
Constantly puts you up to tests, timing your speed and agility.
In awe when you fight, almost to the point he forgets he’s in the scuffle himself.
Still tries to take care of you like a baby—he admires you so much. Even if you’re strong, you’re still his love.
Honestly would probably try to stop you from going overboard, like you’re all fighting and he grabs you so things don’t get too heated. Haha, literally, right? Get it with Ace? I should shut up…
When you get tired, he scoops you up and holds your body like you’re the most fragile thing on earth.
Doesn’t care about the teasing—he respects you even if your power can compare to his.
Law ᵔᗜᵔ
Doesn’t say a word outright, just a small smirk across his face.
Worries way too much—his doctor instincts kick in. Are you pushing yourself too hard? Are you hurt? These thoughts circle his mind constantly.
Stands behind you with his eyes closed like he isn’t paying attention. He most certainly is.
Offers practical help: meditation and cold compresses. This is his way of showing he cares.
When you do inevitably push yourself too far, he’s the first to notice—almost forcing you to rest and take things easy.
In secret, he lets you lay on his chest while he watches your face, trying to read what mental and physical state you’re in.
Would never let anyone tease you—giving deadly glances when anyone dares to open their mouth.
Smoker •⤙•
Cold and stern outwardly; on the inside, he’s really impressed.
Worries about you in battle but knows you can handle it.
If you ever did get hurt, he’d calmly bandage you while cursing himself for not being there sooner.
Never lets you push yourself too hard, even when necessary—he cares too much about you.
Watches with a focused eye at all times.
Brags about you to other Marines without even realizing it.
Keeps your weak spots in the back of his mind so he can help when—really if—needed.
Luffy >ヮ<
Biggest fanboy from the very start.
“WOAH, THAT’S SO COOL! HOW DID YOU DO THAT?!”
Wants to join every fight you’re in from that point forward.
Secretly learns the way you fight so maybe he can copy you.
If anyone ever underestimates you, he just laughs and lets you at them.
Tells everyone that you’re the strongest person he’s ever met—and means it.
Makes you eat lots of food—aside from what he steals from you, ofc—and rest a bunch to keep your strength.

TWO DUMB VIRGINS ๑. ( 박지성 )
Tumblr media Tumblr media
PART ONE. A B friend group …
𝗦𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗘 ──── you wanted to lose it . he was tired of being made fun by his friends. both of you thinking he’d pull out fast enough… but what can you expect from two stupid virgins ? …
( 対 ) park jisung + fem. reader genre young parent au , smau · contains! mentions of sex. pregnancy talk. crude language. jokes among friends mature content
𝕼 ㅤ𓈒ㅤ𓈒 yeni’s note .ᐟ let’s get this going , i’m so excited about this !! the taglist for this is closed tho , i won’t be adding anyone else until the end when it’s fully released 🖤
Tumblr media
you weren’t against the idea of losing your virginity; you weren’t innocent by any means , you knew what porn was, you were an adult… but when it came to the idea of losing your virginity the thought of it petrified you. what if it hurt so bad you cried? what if you regret it? what if the guy sucked in bed and only cared about getting his rocks off? everytime you got with a guy these thoughts plagued you and you ended up chickening out , leaving the guy with blue balls.
“it’s not that bad i swear.” yuna said. “of course it hurts a little , there’s something that’s at least 6 inches going inside you.” you cringed hearing her talk. “but it isn’t supposed to hurt that bad, if it does he’s definitely doing it completely wrong.” yunjin said. “oh my god what if he does it completely wrong and like hurts me to the point where i can no longer have sex?” you stressed , the girls in front of you shaking their head at your dramatics. “i don’t want my first time to be my last time.”  chenle sat down in the booth of the cafe the three of you met up for lunch at. “you three still on the virgin talk.”
“yesterday i invited a boy over, 10 outta 10.” you said. “we were kissing, it was perfect.” chenle nodded. “and then your brain got in the way?” you sighed and nodded. “and he wasn’t mean about it, but like how embarrassing that me,  a 23 year old, is scared of having sex?”
“look no one is rushing you to lose your virginity now, take as long as you need.” yunjin reassured. “besides , the men out here are trash.” yuna said. “so you really aren’t missing much.” as much as she was probably right , it’s seems like it was all people were talking about.
meanwhile, jisung sat in a cafe of thel campus, holding his head down low as his friends laughed at joke haechan made — a joke made at his expense… his virginity. “why is this so funny?” he said. “i don’t know.” haechan shrugged. “making fun of the 23 year old virgin is very funny.” jisung rolled his eyes. “haha laugh at the virgin , sorry im not fucking every girl and guy who looks my way.”
“well yeah , cause you aren’t fucking anyone.” the table erupted into laughter once more. “jisung don’t let them rush you.” mark spoke up. “yeah how many times has haechan found himself sitting in a clinic for antibiotics?” renjun said bluntly. “or in the line of a drug store with a morning after?” jeno followed up. “or a pregnancy test.” haechan sat up to defend himself. “hey i only stood in line for a pregnancy test once.”
“isn’t once enough for you to learn to wrap your dick up or lock it away?” jaemin said. “do i tell you what to do with jeno in our shared apartment?” haechan argued back. “hey don’t turn this on us.” jisung listened to them bicker back and forth. “the point being , don’t just lose your virginity because of peer pressure.” mark said, jaemin stopping his argument with haechan just to speak. “and once you do lose it , don’t go fucking everyone who looks at you.” haechan gasped. “are you slutshaming me?” which jaemin nodded. “yes i am you whore.”
“there’s a party tonight that a friend of mine is throwing.” chenle said over the phone.. “i’m sure seulgi can let you off for one night?” you really didn’t feel like partying, but the other option wasn’t pleasant either. “i can ask.” throwing your bag down to the ground , your cat coming up to caress your calf with her tail. “im sure she’s gonna say yes , she loves you.” he said. “duh who else is willing to come in on a sunday to do the 79 year old grandma that only wants to talk about how much she hates her children and complains about how much she hates the haircut?”  you spoke sarcastically. “but she keeps coming back?” you snort. “that’s our problem , i’ll text her to see if i can get off.”
to seulgi : night off please 😃 4:30pm read
from seulgi : grandma? sunday? 4:35pm read
“shit.” you hissed. “grandma on sunday.” you whined. “think about it , it’s friday have a good time, recover saturday and make money on sunday.” he said. “think of the jell-o shots , think of the jell-o shots.” you sighed , nodding. “fine.”
to seulgi : you hate me don’t you 😔 ? 4:40pm read
from seulgi : go easy on the alcohol it’s like she can still smell it days later even if you shower 😉
“perfect , i’ll see you tonight!” chenle said. “yuna and yunjin are already on their way over i bet.” you hung up; just as the door of your apartment opened up. “let’s get ready bitch!” they came bursting into your room. “you both set this up.” yuna nodded. “we knew you’d tell us no , but chenle has special childhood friend privileges so we used him.” you shook your head. “also thank you because now i don’t have to work on sunday.” yunjin plopped down on your bed. “you got grandma again?” yuna asked, already going through your closet. “2 whole hours of nonstop yapping about how her kids never visit , only to be cursed at because she hates the hair cut.” you pouted. “lucky me.”
“whos random house are we showing up to right now?” you asked as the car pulled up to the address. “why does chenle know so many dodgy people , it’s concerning.” yuna said. “maybe he’s the dodgy person in question , we never know, this could be his house.” yunjin said as the three of you exited the car; you could hear the music playing inside. “i wouldn’t be surprised he does stupid shit all the time i wouldn’t be surprised if he somehow convinced his parents to buy him a house.”
you opened the door of the house; the house being filled with people. “stay close by and don’t go home with strangers.” you said. “how about you try going home with a stranger.” you glared back at yuna who was smiling. “love you.”
“who are you waiting for?” jisung asked chenle as they stood around the party; chenle looking around the party. “my A friend group , i invited them.” he said looking at his phone. “A friend group?” jaemin asked. “so does that make us the B friend group?” he nodded. “pretty much.” he stood up. “they’re here , i’ll see you guys.” and with that, he walked away. “i feel used all of sudden.” renjun spoke up , drink in his hand. jisung stood up. “what you have another friend group you invited?”
“i wish.”
you found yourself in the kitchen; looking for chenle after he promised you a drink only to never return with it. ‘it’s not easy entertaining both friend groups.’ he texted you. you scoffed maneuvering your way into the cramped kitchen to the drinks. “oh sorry.” a tall lanky boy was standing around. “you’re fine.” you said with a smile. “do you know what’s good?” he looked around. “um well i don’t drink much.” you smiled , he was cute the way he stumbled over his words. “that’s okay , what are you drinking?” he was so quick to show you his cup it made you giggle; which made his neck turn red. “i-i can make it for you.” you nodded. “thank you.” he sat his cup down; grabbing one for you. “it’s nothing special.” he said , pouring things into the cup. “he-here you go.”
he watched you nervously as you put the cup to your lips; taking a sip of the drink he made you. “do you like it?” he said ; here he was needing the approval of a stranger; haechan would've made a comment about him not having a backbone if he was here. “it’s good.” your voice bought him out of his thoughts. “really?” you nodded. “it’s not too sweet but also my throat isn’t burning from the excessive amount of alcohol.”
you struck up a conversation with the boy; mostly leading it, he listened attentively as you spoke. “am i talking too much?” you asked , he quickly shook his head. “of course not , it’s just that i don’t normally talk to people except my friends at parties; especially — girls?” you interrupted him. “yeah; especially pretty girls like you.” he scratched the back of his neck. “you’re cute… what’s your name?” “jisung.”
“you’re cute jisung.”
he was about to respond when he saw haechan approaching the kitchen; why at this moment? he was so scared he’d say something that embarrassed him and he actually liked talking to you. “are you okay?” you asked. “i’m fine.” he said. “do you want to go somewhere else?” he asked , quickly before haechan reached the kitchen. “oh yeah sure, i guess.” you said , only for him to grab your wrist. “just trust me.” he said , quickly exiting the kitchen , walking straight past hyuck who turned his head like his eyes were deceiving him; but jisung didn’t even say anything, just kept guiding you through the people; and straight up the stairs to his room.
you didn’t even say anything; and before you knew it, you were sitting on his bed. “how many people live here?” you asked , he sat down on his desk chair, rubbing his sweaty palm against his jeans. “me and five other guys.” you cringed. “frightening —  i am so sorry that was an inside thought.” he chuckled as you tried to defend yourself. “no it’s true , it’s frightening sometimes , but mark knows how to calm the house down , he’s the oldest.” you nodded. “i knew it had to be someone; either that or you have a girlfriend you’re not telling me about.”
“oh no , of course not!” he said. “i don’t have a girlfriend.” he realized how quickly he said that, cringing at how desperate that sounded. “im single.” he said much more calm. “good. me too.” he stood up from his chair. “i-i can put on some music.” he said. “anything you like , the music downstairs isn’t that good , jeno-hyung literally puts a playlist together of things he hears on the radio on the drive to work.” he said hooking his phone up to the speaker he stole from renjun. “anything is fine.” you said , standing up looking around his room; the mangas in the corner of his room , the small pile of clothes halfway kicked under the bed, that he clearly just kicked under there, you laughed to yourself. his school books on the table; he went to a different school than you — that was good.
“do you like mangas?” he asked , follow behind you. “they’re okay, i prefer regular fantasy books , but i don’t hate them.” you went to turn around , only to bump into his chest with a small umph. “oh shit i’m sorry.” he held you by your shoulders — and out of a whim and probably a little bit of the alcohol; you kissed him.
the boy’s eyes widened; feeling your soft lips on his. it wasn’t his first kiss, but it surely was the best one he’s had. he shakenly put his hands on your waist , trying to steady himself; it’s just a kiss, it’s not a big deal… then why is he getting hard? he quickly pulled away out of shame. “is something wrong?” you asked. “i- i’ve never done this before.” he said. “kissed a girl?” you asked, he shook his head. “no-no i kissed a girl before.“ he stumbled over his words; trying to figure out what to say; but you helped him. “you’re a virgin?”
he sighed; this was his issue, girls didn’t want a virgin. they wanted someone who knew what they were doing; so he fully accepted that you were gonna reject him — but you didn’t , you grabbed his cheek, pulling him back into another kiss , using your other hand to guide his fallen one back to your waist, feeling him slightly grip it , making you gasp. “di-did i hurt you?” he said in between kisses. “no, please keep going.”
kissing him felt good; but you couldn’t deny the racing of your heart. those same concerns floating around in your head as he gently laid you on the bed , climbing on top of you. “i told you; i’ve never done this before , i don’t know what works and what doesn’t.” he confessed. “me either.” you said. “i don’t know what i’m doing either.” he was stunned. “you’re a virgin too?” you nodded. “so i guess we’re about to figure it out together?”
pulling him into another deep kiss; pulling at his waist both of your hips moving messily against each other. it felt good; but you needed more. which is why instead of pushing him away like you normally did guys when it went too far , you pulled at his pants , signaling him to take them off. “do-do you want me to take them off?” you nodded. “ok-okay.” he stood up , hands shaking as he unbuckled his jeans. “i can take off my skirt.” you reached for your waist, both of you moving with haste but uncertainty, undressing yourselves.
“can i be on top?” you suddenly asked. “it’s just that in the videos i watch , the girl is normally on too.” he could feel his cock twitching at the thought of you touching yourself to porn; how was it a stranger getting him like this. “su-sure.” he said , and he laid on his back , letting you climb on top of him. “is this okay?” he nodded , his hand coming up being your back to undo your bra. “you’re too good at that.” you giggled , his hips accidentally bucking up making you moan. “oh i liked that.”
so he did it again , and you moaned again. “jisung this isn’t enough.” you whined out. “i don’t think i have any condoms.” he said. “b-but i think i can pull out in time.” he quickly followed. “you sure?” he nodded. both of you were clearly thinking with you lower parts; lowering his underwear , cheeks flushed with red as his erected cock slapped against his stomach. your eyes widening. “what? what’s wrong?” he said nervously. “you’re kinda big , how am i supposed to fit that inside me?”
“oh um , maybe we can just try only try a little bit.” you nodded , grabbing his cock; feeling it in his heavy length in your hand. “i guess i just stroke it?” he nodded , moaning out as you slowly moved your hand. “is this okay?” he nodded. “i-i like it , bu-but can you speed up just a bit.” he bit down on his lip to contain his moans. “please don’t hide them , i like them.” you said, and he whined; he was about to cum. “wait fuck , wait let’s try and do it now i don’t think im gonna last if we keep this.”
you lifted yourself up a bit; hovering over his length. “yo-you can go slow.” he said , you slowly sunk down on him , letting his cock slowly filled you up; just as you suspected it hurt , but not as bad as you thought it would be. “fuck.” he sighed. “fuck that feels so good.” you fully sat down on him. “does it hurt?” you nodded. “a little bit , but it’s fine.” you said , slowly moving up and down on his cock. “you took it all , fuck your really small down there , i can barely move.” he cursed , both of you moaning out as you finally got your groove.
here you both were music from the outside and in the room fading into the background as you both got lost in each other; two strangers, all those nerves you had about losing your virginity gone as you rode jisung. jisung could hear haechan's voice in his head , it was annoying but he couldn’t wait to tell it to him. “wait wait fuck.” he grabbed your hips to stop you. “i’m not gonna last if you’re on top.” he said. “can i get on top?”
you both switch positions and he soon was on top of you; slowly pushing himself back inside you. “faster , i can take it.” he let out a whimper like moan as he felt you better , he was deeper inside you , his cock kissing your cervix over and over. “i think-i think im gonna cum.” you gasped out. “really?” he cursed. “me too.”
both of you now chasing your highs; his hips slapping against yours. “ji- oh my god.” your moans getting louder. “ugh fuck!” you scream as you reached your first ever orgasm outside of your fingers. “ah , fuck fuck fuck.” he moaned , he pulled out , ropes of his cum shooting from his cock on to your stomach. “shit i’m sorry i couldn’t help it.” he said breathlessly. “did you pull out in time?” you asked. “yea-yeah.” he said , you sighed. “shit let me get something to clean you up.”
your eyes look around the room as you wait for the boys return. “are you okay?” he asked. “you seem to be out of it.” his eyes widened. “are you regretting it? did i do something wrong?” he said. “no no you’re fine.” you said. “it’s just that , i didn’t care when i lost my virginity , but i didn’t think it would be today , let alone with you.” you chuckled to yourself as he handed you a rag. “is that a bad thing?” he said nervously. “no , for a virgin you knew what you were doing.” his face turned red. “th-thanks i guess.”
“so what now?” he asked. “do we just like go our separate ways and forget this happened i’m not sure how this works.” he said , both of you now clothed. “well i don’t know wh—” before you could say anything your phone was blowing up. “oh shit i have to go.” you said , looking around. “here’s my number , use it if you want.” you quickly wrote something down , running out of the room.
he walked over to the desk , picking up the piece of paper… he couldn’t read the last 4 numbers. he quickly opened the door trying to find you , but he was unsuccessful. “who are you looking for?” renjun came out of the bathroom. “oh no one.” he said. “well come on , walk with me to get another drink.” he silently nodded at the boy , following behind , hoping to find you down there.
unfortunately, you were already out the door , yuma had broken a heel trying to drag a drunk chenle out of the house. “i’m gonna kill him when he’s sober.” you and yunjin grabbed his legs. “i’m gonna kill him when we get into the car.” the three of you tossing him in the back seat. “i love you all.” he slurred. “friend group A for the win.” was the last thing he said , before closing his eyes. “friend group A.” yunjin who was in the front seat over it , waved him off. “it’s chenle who knows.”
all the way home , you kept checking your phone hoping he’d text you — but he never did , you sighed. “what’s wrong , you keep sighing at your phone.” yuna asked. “nothing , just thinking about the recovery tomorrow.” you said. “you’ll be fine.” you both looking at chenle. “him i’m not so sure.”
“yn!” chenle shouted from your bed. “yn!” you turned facing him. “will you go to bed.” you said , checking your phone again. “and don’t throw up in my bed or i’ll murder you.” he whined , murmuring under his breath. “my bestfriend hates me.” he said. “she cares about her stupid phone.” he passed  back out on the bed. still no call from him. “guess he got scared.” you thought , sighing one last time before standing up , climbing into bed next to chenle. “see here i am.” you said. “good , your bed sucks.” you scoffed.
“i’m gonna wake you up in the morning by banging on two frying pans.”

My GIF Making process: Screen capturing using MPV player, Organizing files, 3 Sharpening settings, Basic Coloring PSD + Actions set
Tumblr media
This is a very long post so heads up.
I’ll try to be as thorough and true as much as possible to the way I make my gifs (I already use Photoshop Actions which I’ve long since set up but now for this tutorial I’m reviewing them to show you the exact steps I’ve learned to create my gifs 😃) and present them to you in a semi-coherent way. Also, please bear with me since English is my second language.
First things first. Below are the things and tools we need to do this:
Downloaded 4K or 1080p quality videos (let’s all assume we know where to get these—especially for high definition movies and tv series—so this post doesn’t get removed, okay? 😛)
Adobe Photoshop CC or the CS versions can work as well, but full disclosure I haven’t created gifs using the CS versions since 2020. I’m currently using Adobe Photoshop 2024.
mpv player. Use mpv player to get those frames/screenshots or any other video player that has a screen grabber feature. I’ve used adapter for the longest time but I’ve switched to mpv because the press to screenshot feature while the video is playing has been a game changer not to mention ultimate time saver for me. For adapter you need to play it in another video player (like VLC player), to get the start and end timestamps of the scene you want to gif which takes me ages before I can even open Photoshop.
Anyway! Please stop reading this post for a moment and head over to this amazing tutorial by kylos. She perfectly tells you how to install and use mpv player, both for Mac and Windows users.
One thing I have to share though, I had a tough time when I updated my MacOS to Sonoma since MPV is suddenly either duplicating frames or when I delete the duplicates the player seems to be skipping frames :/ I searched and found a solution here, though it didn’t work for me lol. My workaround for this in the meantime is decreasing the speed down to 0.70 then start screenshotting—it’s not the same pre Sonoma update but it works so I’ll have to accept it rather than have jumpy looking gifs.
Now, after this part of kylos’ tutorial:
Tumblr media
you can continue reading the following sections of my gif tutorial below.
I want to share this little tip (sorry, this will only cater to Mac users) that I hope will be helpful for organizing the screenshots that MPV saved to the folder you have selected. Because believe me you don’t want to go through 1k+ of screenshots to select just 42-50 frames for your gif.
The Control + Command + N shortcut
This shortcut allows you to create a new folder from files you have pre-selected. As you can see below I have already created a couple of folders, and inside each folder I have selected screenshots that I want to include in one single gif. It's up to you how you want to divide yours, assuming you intend to create and post a Tumblr gifset rather than just one gif.
Tumblr media
Another tip is making use of tags. Most of, if not all the time, I make supercorp gifs so I tag blue for Kara and red (or green) for Lena—just being ridiculously on brand and all that.
Before we finally open Photoshop, there's one more thing I want to say—I know, please bear with me for the third? fourth? time 😅
It's helpful to organize everything into their respective folders so you know the total number of items/frames you have. This way, you can add or delete excess or unnecessary shots before uploading them in Photoshop.
For example below there are 80 screenshots of Kara inside this folder and for a 1:1 (540 x 540 px) Tumblr gif, Photoshop can just work around with 42-50 max number of frames with color adjustments applied before it exceeds the 10 MB file size limit of Tumblr.
Tumblr media
Sometimes I skip this step because it can be exhausting (haha) and include everything so I can decide visually which frames to keep later on. You'll understand what I mean later on. But it's important to keep the Tumblr 10 MB file size limit in mind. Fewer frames, or just the right amount of frames, is better.
So, with the screenshot organization out of the way, let's finally head over to Photoshop.
Giffing in Photoshop, yay!
Let’s begin by navigating to File > Scripts > Load Files into Stack…
Tumblr media
The Load Layers window will appear. Click the Browse button next.
Find your chosen screenshots folder, press Command + A to select all files from that folder then click Open. Then click OK.
After importing and stacking your files, Photoshop should display the following view:
Tumblr media
By the way, I'll be providing the clip I've used in this tutorial so if want to use them to follow along be my guest :)
If you haven't already opened your Timeline panel, navigate to Windows > Timeline.
Now, let's focus on the Timeline panel for the next couple of steps.
Click Create Video Timeline, then you’ll have this:
Tumblr media
Now click the menu icon on the top right corner then go to Convert Frames > Make Frames from Clips
Tumblr media
Still working on the Timeline panel, click the bottom left icon this time—the icon with the three tiny boxes—to Convert to Frame Animation
Select Make Frames From Layers from the top right corner menu button.
So now you have this:
Tumblr media
Go and click the top right menu icon again to Select All Frames
Then click the small dropdown icon to set another value for Frame Delay. Select Other…
Tumblr media
The best for me and for most is 0.05 but you can always play around and see what you think works for you.
Click the top right menu icon again to Reverse Frames.
I think Photoshop has long since fixed this issue but usually the first animation frame is empty so I just delete it but now going through all these steps there seems to be none of that but anyways, the delete icon is the last one among the line of feature buttons at the bottom part of the Timeline panel.
Yay, now we can have our first proper GIF preview of a thirsty Lena 😜
Tumblr media
Press spacebar to watch your gif play for the very first time! After an hour and half of selecting and cutting off screenshots! 😛 Play it some more. No really, I’m serious. I do this so even as early (lol) as this part in the gif making process, I can see which frames I can/should delete to be within the 10 MB file size limit. You can also do it at the end of course 🙂
Now, let’s go to the next important steps of this tutorial post which I’ve numbered below.
Crop and resize to meet Tumblr's required dimensions. The width value should be either 540px, 268px, or 177px.
Convert the gif to a Smart Object for sharpening.
Apply lighting and basic color adjustments before the heavy coloring. I will be sharing the base adjustments layers I use for my gifs 😃.
1. Crop and Resize
Click on the Crop tool (shortcut: the C key)
Tumblr media
I like my GIFs big so I always set this to 1:1 ratio if the scene allows it. Press the Enter key after selecting the area of the frame that you want to keep.
Side note: If you find that after cropping, you want to adjust the image to the left or another direction, simply unselect the Delete Cropped Pixels option. This way, you will still have the whole frame area available to crop again as needed and as you prefer.
Now we need to resize our gif and the shortcut for that is Command + Opt + I. Type in 540 as the width measurement, then the height will automatically change to follow the ratio you’ve set while cropping.
540 x 540 px for 1:1
540 x 405 px for 4:3
540 x 304 px for 16:9
For the Resample value I prefer Bilinear—but you can always select the other options to see what you like best.
Click OK. Then Command + 0 and Command + - to properly view the those 540 pixels.
Tumblr media
Now we get to the exciting part :) the sharpen settings!
2. Sharpen
First we need to have all these layers “compressed” intro a single smart object from which we can apply filters to.
Select this little button on the the bottom left corner of the Timeline panel.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Select > All Layers
Then go to Filter > Convert for Smart Filters
Just click OK when a pop-up shows up.
Now you should have this view on the Layers panel:
Tumblr media
Now I have 3 sharpen settings to share but I’ll have download links to the Action packs at the end of this long ass tutorial so if you want to skip ahead, feel free to do so.
Sharpen v1
Go to Filter > Sharpen > Smart Sharpen…
Below are my settings. I don’t adjust anything under Shadows/Highlights.
Amount: 500
Radius: 0.4
Click OK then do another Smart Sharpen but this time with the below adjustments.
Amount: 12
Radius: 10.0
Tumblr media
As you can see Lena’s beautiful eyes are “popping out” now with these filters applied. Click OK.
Now we need to Convert to Frame Animation. Follow the steps below.
Click on the menu icon at the top right corner of the Timeline panel, then click Convert Frames > Flatten Frames into Clips
Then Convert Frames > Convert to Frame Animation
One more click to Make Frames From Layers
Delete the first frame then Select All then Set Frame Delay to 0.05
Tumblr media
and there you have it! Play your GIF and make sure it’s just around 42-50 frames. This is the time to select and delete.
To preview and save your GIF go to File > Export > Save for Web (Legacy)…
Below are my Export settings. Make sure to have the file size around 9.2 MB to 9.4 MB max and not exactly 10 MB.
Tumblr media
This time I got away with 55 frames but this is because I haven’t applied lighting and color adjustments yet and not to mention the smart sharpen settings aren't to heavy so let’s take that into consideration.
Sharpen v1 preview:
Tumblr media
Sharpen v2
Go back to this part of the tutorial and apply the v2 settings.
Tumblr media
Smart Sharpen 1:
Amount: 500
Radius: 0.3
Smart Sharpen 2:
Amount: 20
Radius: 0.5
We’re adding a new type of Filter which is Reduce Noise (Filter > Noise > Reduce Noise...) with the below settings.
Tumblr media
Then one last Smart Sharpen:
Amount: 500
Radius: 0.3
Your Layers panel should look like this:
Tumblr media
Then do the Convert to Frames Animation section again and see below preview.
Sharpen v2 preview:
Tumblr media
Sharpen v3:
Smart Sharpen 1:
Amount: 500
Radius: 0.4
Smart Sharpen 2:
Amount: 12
Radius: 10.0
Reduce Noise:
Strength: 5
Preserve Details: 50%
Reduce Color Noise: 0%
Sharpen Details: 50%
Sharpen v3 preview:

Congratulations, you've made it to the end of the post 😂
As promised, here is the download link to all the files I used in this tutorial which include:
supercorp 2.05 Crossfire clip
3 PSD files with sharpen settings and basic coloring PSD
Actions set
As always, if you're feeling generous here's my Ko-fi link :) Thank you guys and I hope this tutorial will help you and make you love gif making.
P.S. In the next post I'll be sharing more references I found helpful especially with coloring. I just have to search and gather them all.

How to Overcome the limitations of your Mind?
Tumblr media
pile i
This Pile could be Christian or believe in the concept of gods/god. I heard the hierophant, you need to connect with your god! Maybe some of you are depressed, suicidal, lonely, or lost- you could feel alone in a world filled with frauds. There could be cancer and Scorpio energy in this pile. People who have been hurt, stolen from, left behind because they picked themselves. Maybe some days it’s very hard to keep picking yourself. Keep going, pray together is what keeps wanting to come out. It was what I heard earlier and I was about to say to god but the autocorrect for together immediately filled in before I could even type another letter. How strange!
Maybe there’s someone you need to pray with, whether they be deceased or alive. I see here that you are going through some kind of molting or transformation or death and it’s felt very ugly and painful. Maybe some of you are further in this process than others, it feels like realization- I see lots of feathers stuck into tar and stuck into bare skin. You could feel barely human, maybe your soul isn’t human at all. Maybe you’re simply having a human incarnation & maybe it’s been hard for you. Perhaps you don’t feel suited to humanity, there is a massive wound in the heart around love, support, and community. Perhaps you always felt like the ugly duckling, a loser, unwanted, unserious, unworthy, maybe you didn’t try in life because you didn’t know you would ever learn to care. Maybe caring about yourself was never an option.
I heard “it’s not dangerous to try new things” and “don’t be alarmed when the time comes for change”
“But right now, you’re doing just fine,”
To keep fighting to survive is to overcome your mind, you are rewiring something that was broken over time. You went through a slow agonizing death, maybe something traumatic happened and from there it was a VERY slow death. Maybe too rotted, from the inside out. This is not shallow pain, this is pain that poisons like mold. That overtakes and fills your mind and your heart- you’re releasing something big this year. You’re releasing a fear, you came out on the other side of a series of deaths and rebirths and transformations. Now you are simply being asked to switch gears. It is HARD, but it is worth the fight. You overcomplicate things with extremities but it isn’t worth it.
You’re a very versatile human, with a lot to offer the world.
But until you accept that about yourself it’s going to be a bit rough, do things to prove your value to yourself in a reasonably healthy way. Show up in your life, make yourself feel accomplished- and learn more about yourself- learn about the stories of your ancestors maybe? Or the Women in your lineage, learning their stories and reflecting on them may bring you some kind of peace & solidarity.
You’re not as alone as you think, and you’re very loved. To love you is not a burden, but part of loving others is being responsible for our own well being. You will find more happiness & balance in your relationships by healing a wound of loneliness. Maybe you were exiled, isolated, etc as a punishment. It is not a punishment to stand in your own square, it is not a punishment to be sad, it is not a punishment to be unhappy.
You aren’t being punished anymore
But you’re punishing yourself
Channeled messages:
Eat better, pray together? (I heard this exactly haha)
Run through god
Ask for forgiveness
Let go of your sins
Tumblr media
pile ii
I feel an emptiness in pile 2, as if you are unable to enjoy or partake of the pleasures in life due to fear. You could have been neglected as a child, maybe you didn’t have food, water, love, or shelter as reliably as you should have. There is a very deep childhood wound here, but you have to stop feeding it. Maybe you were literally trained not to rely on your own judgment? It seems to me that you are so reliant on others or outside sources for answers that you can’t even see clearly in front of you. You hold the power, you can make things work in your life- no matter how hard it seems. Even if it seems like escaping the pain is like climbing a treacherous mountain YOU CAN DO IT! You feel deeply,
Ngl some of u could be having relationship issues??
You actually do have the skill and ability to fix this relationship! It is 1000% salvageable!! This could also be about building a relationship with YOURSELF!!!
A lot of this feels like self motivation, taking action, and trusting yourself. You’re actually VERYYY good at rationalizing things calmly, you have a lot of stability in your life and the people around you love you a lot & want to communicate with you openly and fairly & honestly there’s a lot with a relationship popping up here. Perhaps you need to overcome these mental limitations to save it, or you need to face yourself head on to foster a better relationship with yourself.
Either way! You have all that you need to accomplish this, don’t exist in lack- have GRATITUDE- and trust in your ability to use reasoning & logic because when you openly and honestly consider things from a more detached perspective you get soooo much more done. You have to find a balance between attachment and detachment, and if you trust the people around you right now you can find that balance they can help guide you but YOU MUST BE RESPONSIBLE FOR URSELF BB.
This reading is a lot shorter than pile 1 so I’ll finish out with some miscellaneous messages.
Be more private!!! Stop telling people your business if it doesn’t give you a good feeling, you also have spirit guides trying to communicate this with you. Don’t tell people your plans & goals, keep EVERYTHING to yourself right now. Your plans are for you to know only, for now allow people to be confused. You don’t owe them an explanation, this will help you heal in relationships. Learn to be within yourself, learn to be comfy in your own energy and in your own state of being. Your spirits are trying to teach you about yourself and you’re so scared of everything around you that you won’t listen.
Your physical surroundings, important relationships, etc, so long as they are healthy they will be FINE- But if you don’t take this opportunity to work on yourself and exist within your own sense of safety it’s unlikely that they’ll remain salvageable.
It’s up to you to choose yourself.

pile iii
Accepting change. I feel like this pile is very stubborn & tends to form opinions based on emotions and personal experience. You are highly intelligent, but you also remind me of like a dog who gets aggressive when people come near his food or his toy etc… not to liken you to a dog but like you are very defensive maybe, open your mind to new opportunities and possibilities. You can change your opinion at any time, based on multiple pieces of evidence or factors & it seems like you have a tendency to cling to familiarity. Perhaps you feel like you are at risk of losing it all in any given moment. You have limitless options and possibilities, you don’t have to settle for scraps and fight to keep them. You can have more, and maybe the scraps you currently have aren’t even for you- not because you don’t deserve things but because you deserve MORE. If you are too focused on fighting for what you perceive yourself to have then you will not be able to see what else is there for you. You have to let go of what no longer serves you, and you have to find a way to accept new things and changes.
This might be a tough pill to swallow
Please know I say this without judgment, and that I truly do understand. You can overcome your mind by being more self aware. You have a lot of triggers and I feel like you also tend to have hidden motives when you deal with others as well sometimes. There is a lot of pain and insecurity, feeling vulnerable, feeling seen- it can be so uncomfortable and it seems like you sometimes will go to great lengths to prove a point even if it means being impulsive, deceptive, and inconsistent! You’re being asked to have a deeper sense of conviction in what you do. Youre very loving and lovable underneath all of these masks and these traumas & it’s NEVER too late to change sweetie.
Sometimes you just have to accept things for what they are, sometimes we lose sight of ourselves in the hunt for something more- and we fail to realize the impact our actions have on others. It’s like you’re hurt and bleeding on everyone around you. I can tell you are scared, you may feel like you’re being backed into a corner. Truth can be bitter, but sometimes you just have to accept things for what they are. We are all capable of misconceiving, continuing to latch onto this misconception is going to hurt you not help you.

i don’t know what this is… not a fic, more like a word vomit about remus loving you HAHA enjoy <3
Remus Lupin wasn’t religious in one way or another. But even he knew you were godsent.
Passed out, lying with twisted limbs and a drool-filled mouth; you looked nothing short of an angel.
He touches you, you don’t stir. That’s good, he thinks. It means he has more time to love you without having to accept undeserved affection in return.
He’d asked the question a thousand times, thought about it even more. Why me? And you’d smile at him like he wasn’t a monster, like he wasn’t born to kill. Who else? you’d say. And that’s when Remus realised that it doesn’t take kindness to love somebody; all it takes is that ache in your heart and burn in your fingertips. He wasn’t kind; yet he loved you.
The tips of his fingers dance across your cheek, feeling the soft skin on which his lips had made their home. He has unordinary courage tonight; he dares to bring his other hand to rest on the curve of your hip.
He brushes his thumb, featherlike, underneath your shirt. His shirt. You make a soft sound, and it’s all he needs to hear to know what heaven sounds like.
Remus had never felt like yours was more than a title until he met you. He was yours, yours to love, yours to break, yours to throw away. He belonged to you, and that was the greatest badge of honour any man could wear. He wanted you to touch him, make your mark upon him until it burnt, and he’d thank you for branding him with the etch of your thumbprint.
You were perfect; in every sense of the word. He’d learn every tongue till he was fluent in showing you how utterly divine you were. The dark lines on your thighs didn’t bother him nearly as much as they did you, and neither did the scars. He cursed himself reverently for his own; but never yours. Every mark on your being was a part of you, every inch of your skin a holy grail he’d read without complaint.
He’d worship you if you’d let him. Let his hands find their haven in every nook and crevice of your perfect body, whisper feverish words of cadence and cruelty till you screamed his name. You allowed him to touch you; and that was enough for now.
As he feels you now, mindlessly splaying his hands on your bare back, your eyes flutter open. Remus doesn’t think he’ll ever get used to the jerk of his heart stopping when you look at him like that. You reach for him with a smile even in half-lidded consciousness; he goes without protest because it’s you.
He knew forever wasn’t a word meant for lovers. But for now, he can hold you in his arms and hear your heartbeat when you pull him in. You'll let him tell you he loves you till the grave, and that is compensation enough.
