OMAD BENEFITS
One Meal A Day: restricting your eating window to a single meal each day
[dc: you should always take your vitamins when doing long fasts!some suggest people living with diabetes who are taking insulin should not follow this diet, but there are said to be some benefits]
•can boost productivity
•increase focus
• balance hormones
• improve gut health (important for losing weight)
• reduce weight
•promotes cellular regeneration (anti-aging)
•easier to maintain a caloric deficit
•fights aging ^ (cellular regeneration)
•save money
•clear, smoother, & younger skin due to the anti-aging effects and increased autophagy benefits.
•save time
•boost the immune system
•live longer
•turns the body into a fat burning machine

Omad Dinner
one meal a day, dinner. how to?
in the morning, let’s say before school (at least one hour before you leave) drink a big cup of warm green or white tea.
first hunger of the day (usually 1-3 hours after your morning tea) will hit you suddenly. always be prepared and have a thermos with black coffee or green tea if you don’t want everyone hearing your stomach rumbling.
throughout the day drink a lot. A lot. A Lot. A LOT of water. helps so much.
try to eat dinner around 5-7pm (max 400/500kcals)
go to sleep as early as possible.

went through my camera roll and seen photos of my in the mirror looking exactly the same as i do today.
they weren’t just normal mirror photos they were body checking, to look back at when i get results.
if i had just started then, imagine the difference now.
and thats exactly why i am starting now, so i don’t have to look back at body checking photos in a year time and be mad i didn’t start now but instead be thankful that i started now.

THE O.M.A.D. DIET
—————//////—————
- the omad diet is literally “one meal a day”. it’s an extremely restrictive and lengthy diet, considering the fact that it’s literally ONE meal a day. doctors strongly advise against it, especially since there’s a 65% chance of it failing, and because it’s causes 1) intense weight loss and 2) bingeing
the pros however is:
1. burns fat
2. improves metabolism
the cons as explained before:
1. hard to sustain
2. can make you hungrier
- however since this is my first challenge on this blog i do want to go out and say that i’m already on a calorie deficit & intermittent fast which is only different from this in a slight few kinds of ways. proceed with caution when trying to accomplish this challenge.
• i will update every day on mood & levels of hungriness. •
START WEIGHT: 134.6 lbs
END WEIGHT:

WILL INCLUDE:
• what i ate in a day
• calorie count
• activeness
• mood

I sent my therapist a long ass email at 4.30am yesterday, about how my ed is actually doing. I have to say, regretting that thoroughly now. I’m more than happy living in my little world, and idk why I sent it when she’s one of the only people with actual power to do anything about it? Now I’m just going to be playing a game of ‘don’t get sectioned’…. which surprisingly I’ve never played before (because I’ve been too fat to even be believed before now 🤪)
I don’t have a session till next week and last session she seemed genuinely worried? (Which I hate, because why tf am I being perceived 😅) and I don’t wanna worry her or anyone really, because that’ll get in my way, and that isn’t happening.
Been doing Omad for over a month now and I’m starting to see results I think, also walked 4k steps and it’s not even 9am yet, planning on walking another 9k to my friends house and back. Going to do the same tomorrow and then weigh in Wednesday morning i think.
If I haven’t lost, I might lose my mind. I’ve gotten to a point when I don’t care how much I lose, as long as I do.

6 days on the OMAD diet and I lost 7.2lbs (from 170.8 to 163.6).
Wanted to do it for the whole week but I broke my fast on Saturday 😑. But we go again tomorrow.
Tried not to restrict because I'm scared it would cause a binge if do, but I have been counting my calories
For workouts I've been doing grow with jo videos on YouTube, any video as long as it doesn't exceed 30 mins (so I don't get bored). I try to do them everyday but i give myself a rest day if i really need it.
Also my workplace is very busy so most of the time, I get my 10000 steps in before my workout
