May I ask what the story is behind TFLN? What does it stand for and how did it come to be?

Hello.

TFLN means textsfromlastnight. It's a website that collected all the (mostly drunk) texts from people. I'm not sure if they're active anymore with people having shifted more to communication via social media or WhatsApp.

In 2020 when we were all in lockdown, the inspiration came from two sources: @notmytextsfromlastnight - a L&O:SVU blog focusing heavily on ADA Rafael Barba and @textsfromstargatecommand - a Stargate blog.

It started as fun until it morphed into something that belongs to the core structure of my blog. It's part Stargate, part Sanctuary, and whatever Amanda Tapping was in.

And if it makes you smile/chuckle/cackle/groan or roll your eyes, my mission is accomplished.

About the Blog

This blog is just another in a long series of incorrect quotes blogs. It exists mostly because I (Mod Hughes) created some stupid edits to cheer up my sister (Mod Oz) when she was feeling rough. She suggested we should share them with others. The end result is this blog, which is probably filled more with private jokes and headcannons than accessible humour. That being said, any laughs you manage to find here are yours to keep.

Content Warnings

This blog is NSFW, because it uses a number of sources like offensive shirt slogans and TFLN which are inherently kind of inappropriate. That being said, all posts that are deemed too offensive or sexual will be tagged as NSFW so you can block that tag if you don't want to see that content. Bad language will not be tagged. You're accessing this content at your own risk, and you are responsible for moderating your own experiences.

Sources

These quotes mostly come from pop culture or common sources. Occasionally, they'll be T-Shirt slogans or another source: this doesn't necessarily mean it's the original source, just the source I found it on. I will try to credit the original source wherever possible, however I have very low spoons and may not always be able to locate the original sources. If I make a mistake, please send me a DM or Ask to let me know, so I can properly credit the sources.

Image Quality

Yes, I know. I've used the same images for multiple posts and the image quality is generally very poor. I have no access to decent screen caps for Psycho Pass, so it's not likely to improve any time soon. Though, if you happen to know of any good sources for screen caps (even if they're not the best quality), please feel free to DM me a link, or send an ask.

Submissions

I regret to inform you we will not be taking submissions. This is because I'm too busy to be going through all the submissions and generally have very low spoons. Frankly, I also find it easier to be responsible for the content posted on this blog when it was something we made ourselves. Don’t be disheartened; I'm sure there are plenty of other Psycho Pass blogs that will post your ideas. If you can't find someone who will, why not make your own blog?
