The camaraderie formed in the crucible of training binds you with fellow seekers, creating a web of support that lifts you higher.
And as the days turn into weeks and weeks into months, you shall stand at the crossroads of change. Your reflection in the mirror will not only reveal a physical transformation but a metamorphosis of the soul. The trials endured have carved a mark upon your character, a symbol of your refusal to yield.
In the realm where determination meets sweat, where the fire of ambition burns brighter than the sun, we beckon you to embark on a journey of transformation. A journey that will sculpt your body, sharpen your mind, and forge an unbreakable spirit. Welcome to the crucible of training, a realm where ordinary limitations are shattered, and extraordinary potential is unearthed.
Imagine standing at the precipice of possibility, gazing into the chasm of your own limitations. Now, envision those limits crumbling away like ancient ruins before a relentless tide. This is the essence of our intense training regimen – a symphony of sweat and effort that composes a crescendo of strength and stamina. It’s not just about the physical, but the intertwining of body and soul, pushing beyond what you thought was achievable.
As you step into this world, you’ll find yourself guided by seasoned mentors who have danced with fatigue and embraced discomfort as a partner on their path to greatness. They will challenge you, not just with weights and circuits, but with wisdom forged through countless hours of dedication. With their guidance, you’ll learn that true strength isn’t just in lifting heavy objects, but in the resilience to keep moving forward when the weight feels unbearable.
The training grounds themselves are like no other – a canvas of grit and determination. Picture yourself sprinting across a field as the sun paints the sky in hues of gold, sweat cascading like liquid determination down your brow. Feel the burn in your muscles as you power through another repetition, your heartbeat synchronizing with the rhythm of your effort. Every drop of sweat that hits the ground is a testament to your commitment, a brushstroke on the canvas of your transformation.
But this journey isn’t just about the physical. Your mind, a boundless frontier, will also undergo a metamorphosis. It will learn to embrace challenges not as obstacles, but as stepping stones. It will unravel the art of focus, honing in on the task at hand amidst distractions. As you push your body, your mind will ascend to new heights, discovering a wellspring of resilience you never knew existed.
And stamina? It will become your closest companion. You’ll find yourself enduring longer, pushing farther, and embracing discomfort with open arms. Through high-intensity intervals and heart-pounding circuits, you’ll forge an endurance that extends beyond the physical – an endurance that whispers in the face of adversity, “I am unbreakable.”
But this journey, like any masterpiece, requires time and dedication. It’s not a sprint, but a symphony that unfolds with each note of effort. There will be moments of doubt, moments when the weights feel heavier than the world itself. Yet, it’s in those moments that you’ll discover the depth of your own strength.
Conclusion
So, as you embark on this odyssey of transformation, remember that every drop of sweat, every ounce of effort, is a brushstroke on the canvas of your potential. You are not just building a more muscular body, but a stronger soul. The journey will be tough, but the reward will be worth every single step. Are you ready to dive into the abyss of your own capabilities? To emerge from the crucible of training as a phoenix of strength and stamina, soaring to heights you never dreamed possible? The choice is yours. The journey awaits. So, dare to dive into the depths of these intense training regimens, for within them lies the alchemy of transformation. Embrace the challenge, and emerge reborn, a beacon of inspiration for those who witness your journey. The path is arduous, but the rewards are boundless—elevated strength and stamina, and a spirit that knows no bounds.

HEALTH SHOULD ALWAYS COME FIRST! PRIORITISING HEALTH BEFORE EVERYTHING ELSE TO LOOK GOOD + FEEL GOOD.
Tumblr media
People always leave out the basics when it comes to trying to improve their looks. Prioritising health is so important before going in and tempering with your body. Your base is what you work with and you can definitely level up with what you've got naturally.
DIET
Your diet also depends on what your goals are. Someone who wants to build muscle will obviously eat differently from someone who just eats relatively healthy. So identify what your goals are and work your meals around that.
Here are some videos to give you a better insight: HOW I LOSE FAT AND KEEP IT OFF MEANS, WORKOUTS + EVERYTHING ELSE PROTEIN EXPLAINED, STRENGTH, MUSCLES, FAT LOSS & ENDURANCE HOW METABOLISM WORKS
Diet not only makes you feel better from the inside, but it also reflects on your outside. Your skin is a huge display of how you eat.
Tumblr media
When you consume junk food, it can show up on your skin as breakouts or dullness. Your skin is one massive organ which soaks up everything put onto it and reflects everything you put inside your body. Fix the problem from the inside before getting confused about why your skincare routine isn't working.
FITNESS
Again, your fitness will differentiate from your goals. So work out your goals and make a plan around that. There are so many forms of fitness, some more intense than others and with different results. Working out in general is good for you, our bodies are meant to move. So even if you don't have a goal, staying active is always recommended.
HOW TO CREATE THE PERFECT WORKOUT PLAN
THE BEST WAY TO GAIN MUSCLE, SCIENCE EXPLAINED SIMPLY
Low-intensity workouts:
Yoga: Focuses on flexibility, strength, and relaxation through various poses and breathing techniques.
Pilates: A low-impact exercise method that strengthens muscles, improves flexibility, and enhances posture.
Walking: Simple yet effective, walking is a great way to improve cardiovascular health and boost mood without high impact.
Swimming: Provides a full-body workout with minimal stress on joints, making it ideal for people with joint issues or injuries.
High-intensity workouts:
HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training): Alternates between short bursts of intense exercise and brief recovery periods to maximize calorie burn and improve cardiovascular fitness.
CrossFit: Combines elements of weightlifting, interval training, gymnastics, and other exercises to build strength, endurance, and overall fitness.
Sprinting: Short, explosive bursts of running at maximum effort, often performed in intervals for cardiovascular conditioning and leg muscle strength.
Circuit Training: Involves moving through a series of exercises targeting different muscle groups with minimal rest in between, combining strength training and cardiovascular exercise.
These are just a few examples, but there are plenty of other workout styles out there to explore depending on your preferences and fitness goals. Walking every day is just a simple way to stay toned.
SLEEP
Sleeping is important for rest and recovery after workouts and energy-consuming activities. Sleep is needed for the brain to function, mood regulation and performance + productivity. Lack of sleep deprives you of all of these things, so getting your beauty sleep is absolutely needed.
School-age children (6-13 years): 9-11 hours per day.
Teenagers (14-17 years): 8-10 hours per day.
Young adults (18-25 years): 7-9 hours per day.
Adults (26-64 years): 7-9 hours per day.
HYGIENE
Upkeeping good hygiene is always needed anyway. Making sure you are clean (smelling good is a plus). Make sure you always wash your hands and take daily showers to remove any dirt on your body (clean those feet and your back well, don't forget them!). Taking care of your oral health must not be forgotten. Oil pulling and brushing your tongue for a healthy mouth. Make sure your hair is also getting the attention to keep it as healthy as you possibly can make it (this also depends on diet). Doing the extra things like spending time on your nails (making sure there isn't that stuff underneath them), making them pretty.
BODY CARE ROUTINE | FOR SMOOTH & GLOWING SKIN, TREATING KERATOSIS PILARIS, SHOWER ROUTINE
ENVIRONMENT
Having a stress-free environment is obviously the best to thrive in. But clearly not even being lucky enough to live like that constantly. So make sure you have that space to be on your own and have some alone time to really recharge. Keeping your space clean for a clear mind. Surround yourself with like-minded people and really set boundaries for those who prey on your mental clarity (energy vampires). Spending time in nature is one of the best ways to detach, rest time should not equal spending time on your devices. Let go and truly let yourself decompress. Mental health will improve how you carry yourself.
EMBODY YOUR POTENTIAL.

Katsuki x female reader where he finds out reader is actually a princess.
You'd always known that keeping your true identity hidden at U.A. High School was going to be a challenge. After all, being a princess was not exactly something you could casually mention in conversation. But you wanted to be treated like everyone else, to prove that you could stand on your own without the privileges of your royal title. And so far, you’d managed to keep your secret from everyone—even Katsuki Bakugo.
Katsuki was intense, brash, and full of pride, but there was something about his unyielding determination that drew you to him. The two of you had developed a unique bond over time, though neither of you had outright acknowledged it. Katsuki respected your strength, and you admired his relentless drive.
It was during a routine training session that everything started to unravel.
"Oi, princess, keep up!" Katsuki barked at you as the two of you sprinted through the forest, a part of the day's training exercise. He had taken to calling you "princess" as a joke, never knowing how close to the truth he really was. You rolled your eyes at his comment but pushed yourself to keep pace with him.
The two of you were paired up for a mock rescue mission, something that required stealth and coordination. Katsuki, of course, was more focused on blasting through obstacles than sneaking around them, but you had learned to complement his style. Your quirk, one that allowed you to manipulate energy shields, was a perfect counterbalance to his explosive attacks.
As you approached the mock villain's hideout, you noticed something shining in the underbrush. Without thinking, you reached down to pick it up—a small, intricately designed locket. Your heart skipped a beat when you recognized it. It was the royal crest of your family, something you had lost a while ago.
"What's that?" Katsuki asked, noticing your sudden hesitation.
"Nothing," you replied quickly, but it was too late. Katsuki had already seen the crest on the locket. He snatched it from your hand before you could stop him, his eyes narrowing as he examined the design.
"This… this is the royal crest, isn't it?" he asked, his voice dangerously low.
You swallowed hard, knowing there was no use in lying now. "Yes," you admitted, your voice barely above a whisper.
Katsuki's eyes widened in surprise. "So, you're actually a princess?" he asked, the realization hitting him.
You nodded, feeling a mixture of fear and relief. "I didn't want anyone to know," you explained. "I wanted to prove that I could be a hero on my own, without my title."
Katsuki stared at you for a long moment, his usual fiery expression softened by a flicker of something else—understanding. "Hmph," he finally grunted, tossing the locket back to you. "You're still the same person, title or not. Just don't expect me to treat you any differently, got it?"
A small smile tugged at your lips. "Wouldn't dream of it," you replied.
"Good," he said, turning away. But as he started walking ahead, he paused, glancing back at you. "And don't think for a second that this changes anything between us. I still expect you to pull your weight."
You laughed, feeling a weight lift off your shoulders. "Of course, Katsuki."
With that, the two of you continued the mission, the air between you lighter than before. Katsuki hadn't confessed any feelings, and you hadn't either, but something unspoken passed between you—a mutual respect, a deeper understanding, and perhaps, the beginning of something more.
As you completed the mission together, you couldn't help but feel grateful. Grateful that your secret was out, and that Katsuki, despite everything, still saw you for who you really were.
And maybe, just maybe, that was all you ever needed.
Requests are open.

Fight Scenes Involving Disabled Characters
This was inspired by a comment on one of my eariler posts by @rubyjewelqueen!
Level of Fighting Involved
Depending on the condition your character has, you'll want to adjust how physically strenuous the fight scenes are going to be. This can be done by:
Giving your disabled character a partner who'll take the worst of the fighting while the disabled character does what they can.
Giving them a partner/team they can call if they're in danger, which means they'll just have to hold on until backup comes.
Using the geographic location to limit the kind of attacks the opponent can launch.
Providing your disabled character with cool weapons (if you're writing sci-fi or fantasy, magical weapons are also an option)
Think about your character's capabilities:
Loss or Deformity of Limbs can be overcome by targeted physical training to make most of existing body parts, plus synthetic limbs if that's an option.
Muscular Dystrophy allows low-intensity exercises like walking and swimming. Your character might need breathing assistance as respiratory muscles weaken which means they won't be doing much sprinting. Braces/mobility aids needed.
Neuro Musculo Disability where there are no physical deformities but an inability to to perform controlled movements can plausibly be overcome with physical training and inventing new ways to grip and swing weapons meant for able people.
Conditions that affect one's energy and strength like CFS/POTS will be able to defend themselves quite well, but probably only for like 3-5 minutes before they need to recover for days. A rush of adrenaline and extreme anxiety will help them fight quite intensely, but you'll have to consider how much training they can get with their condition. Martial art skills that need hours of practice may be out of reach for them.
Weapons
The possibilities here are endless. Feel free to invent, or use everyday items as weapons. Just to list some common ones:
Canes, hiking poles, blades hidden in boots & at the end of walking sticks, hooked canes, T-bar cane, crutches
Self-defense items like pepper spray, stun guns, personal alarms
Daggers and light blades rather than swords, chakras they can throw around
Prosthetic can be used as weapons in dire circumstances. Your character may regret it afterwards.
handguns.
Adaptive Martial Arts
With more than 180 types and martial arts styles practiced worldwide, it’s nearly impossible to define a blanket answer to inclusion. But adaptive martial arts aim to help disabled people build physical strength.
Have a martial arts guru who is disabled themselves, and teach your hero how to fight.
Pick the martial arts that doesn't emphasize a particular skill your character doesn't have. For example, karate/kickboxing/ taekwondo emphasizes kicking which won't be possible for someone on a wheelchair. Might be better to avoid ones that involve lots of grappling. Jujitsu seems quite adaptable.

What's the general range of endurance for a horse doing the job(s) it's good at? Like, how long can a racing breed sprint/gallop before you start risking injury? Can a Clydesdale pull a plow all day, or do you need to get as much done as you can in the morning? Etc.
It really depends on how intense the work is on the horse's body, as well as the size, age, and breed of the horse itself, and the rider's observations on when the horse is visibly showing signs of exhaustion. A lot of these calls are dependent upon the owner of the horse to make, because it is very possible to command a horse to work itself to death without even intending to. (I know, this isn't a very helpful answer, but it's very hard to answer questions like these with exact details since we're talking about animals and not machines)
Race horses are usually lightweight breeds like Thoroughbreds or Arabian Horses, and were never bred for doing Hard Farm Labor like pulling a plow or working like makeshift tractors on a farm, will often run until their hearts give out if their rider lets them or makes them, especially if the horse has been literally pent up with no opportunities to run around for themselves in a while, or is extremely stressed.
Race horses especially can get so enthusiastic about racing that they develop mental health issues if they don't get to run and gallop frequently. Healthy running horses, like messenger horses, could handle keeping an even pace on a well-maintained road for hundreds of miles, so long as the rider gave the horse opportunities to slow down, cool off, rehydrate (hydration is a big factor, because horses sweat the way people do, and can die of heatstroke or heat exhaustion like we can), and get at least a few hours of rest before continuing to travel. If the terrain is rougher than a well-maintained horse path, then a horse could struggle and tire much sooner, and may even need the rider to get off their backs and walk with them until they hit easier terrain to avoid injury/overtiring the animal.
A Clydesdale or Shire Horse, which are in the family known as Draft Horses, are better at very strength-demanding, slow work (think cardio vs. weight training in humans; professional weight lifters have very different physiques, skill sets, and exercise/diet needs compared to a competitive sprinter), like pulling a plow, and it was often left up to the handler of the horse to judge when their horses are starting to get too tired and need a break. Horses pant, sweat, and generally show a lot of the same symptoms humans do when they're overheated and risking heat exhaustion or stress-based exhaustion. Horses that are given more rest-times tend to stay working longer in their lives than horses that are consistently overworked; again, like professional athletes. Professional athletes retire very young because of the intensity of their athletic life aging their bodies prematurely and making them more vulnerable to injury. The same applies to horses.
For pasture that's already been tilled and cleared of obstacles like buried rocks in the past, a working horse could probably do most of the morning/afternoon pulling a plow through "easy" soil and terrain as long as it's not too hot out (heat is a major cause of stress-related death in work horses), receive break-times to drink water and cool down, regular hoof checks (a sharp object penetrating a horse's foot can very easily result in a horse's death, so a major part of horse care is keeping their hooves clean). However, most farms that could afford draft horses instead of oxen would often own multiple to switch out when one or more of their horses got too tired during the day. Oxen were often the bulldozers-of-choice around most farms for such intense work like plowing rough soil (eg soil will a lot of stones in the way or a ton of clay), and generally did the jobs better than horses at a much lower cost per ox. Draft horses were incorporated into a lot of farming during the Victorian Era in particular as a sign of wealth and affluence on a farm, rather than actually employing the best animal for the job they needed to do. Oxen still tend to be better at a lot of farming-related work, but the horse breeding industry very much pushed the ox-training industry nearly to into extinction in the West.
Seeing draft horses doing the work that oxen used to do is more a product of showing off your wealth as a farmer than actually having the ideal animal for the job that needs doing, and so class perception and classism plays a large part in where and when you see horses doing the jobs that heartier animals like oxen are better suited for. Historically, a lot of farmers would sacrifice the utility and durability of oxen for the flashiness of draft horses, just like how today you'll find more specialized farming equipment on wealthier farms vs. cheaper, still-good-at-what-it-does-but-not-having-a-popular-brand-name equipment you'd find on a family farm.
So... realizing this reply is running incredibly long, the answer is: It depends on the setting, situation, the horse(s), and the care and responsibility of the owner/handler in addressing symptoms of exhaustion in the animal(s). On a cool, breezy day, a draft horse could work most of the morning and part of the afternoon, especially if the work they're being asked to do is fairly low-impact for them (again, depending on the job you're asking it to do and whether it's just one animal or multiple, how quickly a horse becomes exhausted is heavily influenced by outside factors), but may overheat and need to stop by mid-morning on a really hot, sunny day. That's the tricky thing about working with animals: They don't come with exact guarantees for how much mileage or power they can put out every day, and are vulnerable to health and environmental factors when it comes to how hard they can work and how long.

Wrong Place, Wrong Time (pt. 1)
DO NO HARM.
Whew. After months (almost a year?) of marinating this chapter, I've decided to cut it in two. Thought about titling this chapter: Shit Hits The Fan. Enjoy!
WARNINGS: BBU setting, struggles with bodily autonomy, recovering alcoholic, mentions of violence
Jaime hits the ground with more force than he expects. His back takes the brunt of the fall, and for a moment, he is rendered breathless. A few weeks ago, the impact might have triggered a memory of real violence. Now, he gulps in a few deep breaths, feeling the grass at his back, until Ezra’s face eclipses the sunlight overhead.
“That was better,” Ezra says, extending a hand. Jaime takes it and lets himself be pulled to his feet.
“I can’t seem to stay on my feet,” Jaime huffs, frustrated. He swipes an arm across his face, pushing aside the hair that clings to his forehead.
“You’re doing fine,” Ezra says. “Getting knocked down is half the process of learning.”
Jaime grimaces. “I must be learning a lot, then.”
Ezra grins. “You are,” he says, sounding like he might actually mean it. “You’ve already improved from where we began. For now, take five and drink some water.”
“I can go again,” Jaime insists, already rocking back into his sparring stance.
“We have all day.” Ezra grabs Jaime’s water bottle and pushes it gently against his chest. “You’ll burn out quickly if you don’t pace yourself.”
At the finality in his tone, Jaime relents and collapses back onto the grass. He downs half his bottle in one go.
It’s been over a month since Ezra offered to teach Jaime how to spar. At first, the idea unsettled him in a way he couldn’t pin down. He didn’t understand the point of it. Ezra knew more than most how little Jaime’s ability to fight mattered; it isn’t an imbalance in physical strength that keeps him in his position. It is the law, the society, and the institutions decades in the making that hold the end of Jaime’s leash. Something about learning the art of self defense and knowing he is never allowed to exercise it feels more cruel than not learning at all.
One session, Ezra had wagered. Train with me once and see how you feel.
The first time, Sebastian stayed to observe at Jaime’s request, perched on a piece of exercise equipment in Ezra’s basement gym. Jaime, who spent the week leading up antsy and nervous, watched with rapt interest as Ezra wrapped his hands.
They started slow.
The first time Jaime hit the ground, the room went silent. In the split second of shock and pain, a flare of violent memories flashed before him: a handler shoving him onto his back, his foster father slamming him up against the hallway wall. Distantly, he heard Sebastian’s voice break through the budding panic. “Maybe we should call it a day?”
Something about that—the grounding reminder of where he was, who he was with, and that the choice was his to walk away—snapped him back into his body. Ezra watched him from where he stood several feet back, not coming to his side and not saying anything in response to Sebastian’s concern. Instead, he watched Jaime, waiting to see what choice he would make.
The choice was his.
Jaime pushed himself onto shaking legs, nodding once to Sebastian before meeting Ezra’s unwavering gaze. “Let’s go again.”
Ever since that day, Jaime has taken to training with a level of enthusiasm he didn’t realize he was still capable of feeling. There is an itch for it under his skin when he wakes up some mornings. When he stretches, he relishes in the way his muscles burn from their previous session. On his morning runs, he thinks through new techniques Ezra showed him and commits to perfecting them next time they meet.
On the evening after their third sparring session—Jaime still sweat-damp and shaking from exhaustion in the passenger seat of Sebastian’s car—he realized that this feeling was familiar. It was a sense of liberation he hadn’t felt since he last sprinted across a soccer field under the stadium lights, since the night he tore off across the backyard of a party with Derek at his side, high on the revelation that he might want to kiss him. It was the realization that training with Ezra made Jaime feel in control of his body for the first time in a long time. And that is a gift he can never repay.
Ezra sinks down onto the grass beside him, uncapping his own water bottle. It’s almost embarrassing how he barely breaks a sweat against Jaime. Maybe one day he’ll give him a run for his money.
From the screened window above the kitchen sink, Jaime can hear laughter from inside the house. He titled his head and smelled… something? Sebastian and the others insisted they would take care of dinner tonight and leave Jaime and Ezra to their workout. Jaime doesn’t know much about Sam and Aria’s skills in the kitchen, but…
Ezra smiles at him, nodding his head toward the sound. “How do you think it’s going in there?”
Jaime shrugs and lets his head fall back, enjoying the sun on his face. Spring is starting to blossom, slowly but surely, and it’s the first warm day of the year. “Nothing is on fire,” he says. “So it can’t be that bad.”
****
“Cilantro can substitute oregano, right? They’re basically the same thing?”
“No,” Sebastian and Aria say at the same time. Sam’s expression falls. The frown paired with the 1950s-housewife-style apron creates quite the endearing image.
“It’s not too late to order Thai food,” Aria mutters, pouring herself another glass of wine. Sebastian chuckles around a swig of lemonade.
He didn’t make a big deal about staying sober these last few weeks, but he’s pretty sure Aria clocked it anyway, judging by the way she has kept the bottle out of arm’s reach of him all evening. He pretends not to notice. She pretends not to notice him not noticing.
It’s been a good day.
He can tell Jaime tried to hide his enthusiasm about a return visit all week. He never asks him about it outright, but his demeanor visibly perks up at any passing mention of Saturday dinner at Sam and Ezra’s. Sebastian offered to take him over there before work on any given weekday so that Jaime didn’t have to spend the day alone in the house, but that’s where his enthusiasm waned. Jaime isn’t quite comfortable enough to be alone with anyone except Sebastian, but Ezra comes close, he thinks.
It’s good. It’s so good to see Jaime like this—surrounded by people who care about his well-being, expressing more autonomy than he has ever been allowed in Sebastian’s presence. It’s moments like this that tempt Sebastian into believing that it was worth it, slogging all these months through the misery of WRU, just to bring him to Jaime. To bring Jaime here.
And maybe it was worth it so Sebastian could meet the others, too; his first friends in a very long time.
They are laughing when the front door opens, so none of them hear the unexpected entrance until Julian Hernandez is suddenly standing in the doorway.
The room goes silent. Sebastian nearly shatters the glass in his hand to keep it from slipping to the floor.
“You need to leave,” Sebastian says, the panic overriding any facade of politeness.
Julian, who is skeptical of Sebastian on his best day, says, “Excuse me?”
“Shit,” Aria says, stepping up beside him. “Jules, he’s right.”
Julian looks around, taking in the sight of all of his friends there without him, and Sebastian thinks he sees a quickly masked flash of hurt pass through his expression. “You asked me to take a look at your transmission last week,” he tells Sam. “I brought my tools.”
“I did say that,” Sam says. “But I didn’t mean tonight. I’m sorry. This… isn’t a good time.”
His mouth presses into a thin line. He glances over at Aria. “Yeah,” Julian says. “I can see you’re busy.”
“It’s not like that, Jules.” Aria insists. “Tate’s—” she starts to say. But it’s too late. It’s too fucking late.
Because then the back door slides open and Jaime steps through, trailed by Ezra. They’re mid conversation, murmuring quietly. Both of their shirts are soaked through with sweat, clumps of hair clinging to their foreheads. Jaime is smiling—honest-to-god smiling—and Ezra is laughing at something he said, until his eyes meet Julian’s from across the room and he goes still. He puts a hand on Jaime’s shoulder.
“Fuck.” It’s Julian who says it, a breathy whisper as he realizes the clusterfuck he has just set in motion.
It’s the last sound in the room before shit hits the fan.
Jaime is the last one to spot the new presence in the room, and when he does, his entire body locks up. The blood drains from his face, making his pale skin nearly translucent. His knees hit the ground before anyone can intervene.

Could you possibly do a scene where their best friend/crush jokingly/teasingly calls them “Daddy”? For both Obito and Itachi? One or both? Pretty please?
Oh Nonny,
This is delectably so so so cute and also shocking for the two of them. These men both are emotionally dormant to some extent and have severely different reactions to being called Daddy. 😈
NSFW; if you poke the bear, the bear fucks you back. I’m gonna leave this one a surprise with no description; just know that I have all you Itachi sluts in my heart ❤️
Obito:
If you inadvertently call Obito daddy; let’s say you’re just talking and mention something about daddy vibes and such—that maybe he should try to be more dominant and that most women froth at the mouth for it. He flushes. This man has never once taken full control of a woman, he’s usually the one to be straddled and taken for a ride.
Not today no, you are helping Obito exercise his inner strength and his inner daddy dom side. Which turns out, comes a bit more naturally. Just a few words of encouragement from you is all he needs to pin you down at the training grounds. The wild look in your eyes further feeds his confidence, growing desire and cock.
Speaking of cock. It presses against you, not roughly but it’s prominent enough to not need an introduction. But he’s still going to introduce himself to you. Very out of character for him, but this is all so damn hot. Fucking your best friend?
‘You want my cock, baby? Ask nicely.’ As he kisses down your throat, fingers fervently working your slacks and his.
‘..god, yes.’ You feel the soft smirk ring his lips as he sucks your throat.
‘Yes, what?’ Hot and breathy, it causes goosebumps on your neck.
‘Mmm, yes daddy.’ Good girl he says back, very good girl.
Officially you have the orbital velocity of the goddamn universe between your legs, Obito’s fat cock slips into you and a whorishly desperate moan escapes your mouth. Your fingers clutch around, mapping his hair and shoulders, gripping and digging into him as he groans low in your neck. His pace is not kind nor mean; but needy. A man who has fed the whims of women is now feeding his own. Pounding the soft silk of your cunt as if it were a qualifying sprint, you’re such a perfect fit that the soft wet squelching sound of your pussy can be heard within the first few thrusts.
‘Such…a damn..good girl..so wet for me.’ he whispers as you moan yes daddy in his ear over and over. ‘Tell me when to cum baby.’
As if this was going to last long. You’re so close as it is, how delicious each deep thrust has your walls clenching and fluttering. Picking up faster and faster, ‘mmm Obi—daddy. I’m…gonna..’
Oh you shouldn’t have bitten him, I mean…wait. Yea bite him!! It just makes Obito growl low in your ear. ‘…want to fill your cute pussy…’
Gods. Those are the right words to moan in your ear, all you can whimper out is for him to cum. Because damn he’s coming with you. Those final four thrusts pushes his cum so deep inside of you, your squeezing cunt helps milk each warm spurt of his seed out.
A few deep breaths and Obito is making sure he didn’t hurt you. Kissing your lips and cheeks. Soft words of affirmation that you enjoyed yourself. The contrasting differences between his voice then and now are a stark reminder that underneath a man, he can unleash the most unholy fucking.
‘…I am more than good Obi.’ So cute when you call him that. It means much more now than before.
Itachi:
If you can this man daddy, it’s probably over him saying he didn’t think whatever you were up to was a good idea. ‘Yea, ok. What are you? My daddy or something.’ Which was supposed to be funny but it made his cock slightly twitch and stretch a bit.
‘I could be.’ It was meant to stay inside of his head but damn. Have you two not been hanging out more. Later, alone and unseen.
Yea, Itachi absolutely would like to explore this little fantasy. He’s now inundated with impure thoughts of you moaning that in his ear. Your reaction to his response makes it all the more easier for him to lift you against a tree. Asking you to say it again.
Full reset on your insides, you’re wet and stupid right now. Not dumb, but prematurely drunk on lust. ‘…yes daddy.’
‘Good girl.’ It comes out so naturally, smooth and fluid. Like your favorite shot of liquor.
But let’s be real here. You’re out in the open, Itachi would like to explore this little thing between the two of your more privately. What’s three seconds his time compared to you spending the next three days begging for his cock in Tsukuyomi? Worth every single time he hears your voice crack and whimpering in that false atmosphere he creates. Oh you had no idea, it was always the quiet ones you needed to watch out for.
And while it was short lived—for him, you can still feel and taste him vividly when you are established back into the living world. You look fine on the outside but your mind was just fissured and fried with pleasure. So many Itachi’s and cocks in every orifice of your body. Your olfactory nerves are shot to hell. You can smell the scant air of it all but not really, so much cum had been spurted into your mouth, on your tits and inside your soft cute pussy. That cute pussy he whimpered the first time he came inside of. It was a dirty thing to do to someone so unsuspecting as yourself but damn if you didn’t like being put in a genjutsu for once.
You’ll spend the abnormally quiet walk home in disbelief that a man so calm and stoic can be so damn enticing and …sorta brutal, but in all the good ways. Each time you think of this little ordeal your cunt will throb. He was never actually inside of you, but hell if this didn’t make you want him inside of you for real now.

How would you personally suggest getting into/staying in shape? I do regular walks, which is nice and all, but I have a feeling that will not be as good as like, going into a gym?
As I understand it, regular walks are actually one of the absolute best ways to stay active and baseline in shape. "In shape" looks and feels different for everyone, but the general rule of fitness is Use It Or Lose It. Your body adjusts to whatever level of exertion you're regularly putting it through, which is why the first time you try a new kind of exercise it'll be tortuously difficult and the next time you try it there'll be shocking improvement. The first time I tried jogging of any kind I could only make it about two-thirds of the way through, but when I tried again a few days later I did the whole course that had kicked my ass so hard the previous run. It's just how your body adjusts.
Walking is great for general full-body fitness and has the general benefit of not being in an enclosed gym full of people, which is good for both social anxiety and covid reasons. I'd also recommend a little ten-minute yoga stretching routine to compensate for long periods sat at a desk and generally keep up flexibility.
Beyond that, "working out" is really a matter of picking the poison that works for you. Some people run, others lift, others climb - it's a matter of what you enjoy, what you can stick with and what you want to be able to physically do.
That's a huge part of exercise that I think gets glossed over, because "being in shape" is seen as this weird moralized baseline of being a Good Person and therefore people don't think of it in terms of its actual benefits - giving you a body that can Do More Stuff You Like.
I loved rock climbing as a kid and wanted to get back into it, so I looked up bouldering gyms and took a crack at it, and once I confirmed that it was indeed still fun (but also that my forearms were NOT prepared) I looked into doing it more. I've never had endurance for distance running, favoring sprints, so I've started looking into training up longer-distance jogging to build up stamina. I found I legitimately enjoy the feeling of swimming, and as a happy benefit it's also one of the best low-impact full-body workouts you can find. I like the strength and flexibility I had as a whippy little gymnast, and while some of that just doesn't work at my post-puberty height and weight, I can still make sure I stay flexible enough to keep tumbling on my skill list.
Some people stay in shape running, some people do fencing, some people lift weights, some walk dogs, some frequent a gym, some kickbox, some swim - but the ones that stick with it are the ones who find some part of it that they actually enjoy. If it's a chore and it feels pointless, it'll be damn hard to work up the motivation.

Heroes of Olympus---fitness/body related hcs
***Idk if anyone would even plan on it but Please do not comment or tag this as anything sexual as it is not meant like that in any way whatsoever***
Percy
Everyone lost some weight on the big Argo II voyage due to stress and all the fighting and everything, Percy is no exception.
In general, though, he is still leaner than Jason and has slightly less upper body/ pectoral strength than he does.
However, he has THE fucking core strength ever
Unless he's been really, really exerting himself he normally has a cushion of belly fat over his abs but if you feel his abs they're wow so strong
Also bunch of shoulder strength, he does lots of climbing
He honestly needs some squish especially in scenes set After Gaea’s defeat. One of the reasons im writing these hcs is that I hate the fanarts that give the demigods six or eight pack abs and 0 body fat like?? Have u ever seen a 16-17 year old boy with chiseled abs. Especially one that eats like mr Jackson. His mother is feeding him good on seven layer dip and cheeseburgers and cookies and blue candy and he drinks blue cherry Coke and eats his fill of barbecue every day at camp you Cannot tell me he has no body fat arrgggh
He probably looked like that while he was in Tartarus though bc he was probably really dehydrated and exhausted lmaoo
V good sense of balance and coordination
Jason
Jason’s got more strength in his arms/shoulders/upper body than anything else
Big arm and chest muscles
Also naturally has belly--when he's not worried abt food--but he tends to stand taller so you can't see it as much
Probably lost the most weight on the voyage. Too busy making sure everyone else was okay and also healing from his various injuries. He also had to be absolutely sure there was enough food for everyone else so he was worried abt taking too much
Generally spends more time exercising and has hardly ever seen a junk food in his life and eats a lot of protein bc hes always lived at camp jupiter so he's very muscle
Piper
Piper didn't really start exercising until she came to camp so she's probably the least physically strong in comparison
More squish than Annabeth. Carries fat in hips and thighs and belly
Thinks/feels like she's fat and low key worries abt it
Was only mildly disappointed when she started demigod training and her belly didn't instantly disappear lol
Kind of jealous of how Annabeth is so thin and athletic but Annabeth wishes she had Pipers thighs/boob/curves loll the curse of being a woman
Piper also feels like she has baby face compared to Annabeth bc she has chubbier cheeks and it annoys her
She's got a pretty good sense of balance tho
Pretty good at running fast but she doesn't have as much stamina as Annabeth
Shes quite flexible also
Pretty good swimmer
Annabeth
Naturally quite thin
been training her whole life so she's got strong arms and legs and core
Really good at running and sprinting
Very agile too
Core strength and upper body strength
Great at dodging attacks, less good at blocking
Tallest of the girlies
Climber shoulders/back muscles
Wishes she had Piper’s curves kinda. She doesn't care all that much but occasionally is like damn wouldn't that be nice
Frank
Arrgh I hate how in the middle of the series Rick took away all of his fat. Screw you sir. Put it back. Put it bacK
So Frank Immediately gets his tum back in the span of a few weeks
He's also really tired for the next however long after the Mars boy magic adrenaline wears off bc where's his fuel??? Gone!!
Very good at Lifting stuff. He had to carry stuffs for his grandma all the time bc she was old
Mostly strong in the arms and chest/pectorals
His growth spurt happened real quick so he's still not used to how big he is which is why he's all clumsy
Needs to work on balance and coordination lol
Although he got most of his chub back, his Babyface™ didn't come back quite so strong
Hazel
Hazel is the shortest girlie
Was really thin back in the 40s and then gained quite a bit soon after she came back to life. She was very confused and probably horrified
This was bc of a combination of having a growth spurt, pressure on little girls to be thin back then and the times having changed now, having enough to eat now, and changes in the amounts of additives and high fructose corn syrup and shit in foods
She was really distraught for a while bc much like Nico’s internal conflict with The Gay, decades ago being chubby was an unforgivable sin for a little girl
Obv not to Nico’s extent bc I don't think people were killed for being fat but still
It takes her a while to see it as not a bad thing but just a thing
She has pretty evenly distributed muscle strength because when she started exercise at camp jupiter they worked All The Groups
Leo
We love our tiny little shrimp man
He didn't get enough to eat during his growth spurt so he's kind of stunted
Even though he's a hephaestus boy he could not for the life of him build a lot of muscle
He's not that strong
He's probably pretty flexible though
Nico
Also stunted because he didn't eat enough in his growth spurt
Pretty strong though
Smol but he is still growing
Is getting taller and will almost definitely surpass Leo
Also is slowly gaining a healthy amount of weight as he stays at camp and Will makes him eat and sleep more regularly and now he's less tired all the time
Pretty good core strength and balance and agility
Looks more his child age now that his cheeks are more filled in
Reyna
Buff Girl
Girlie works out when shes stressed and now she's got muscles like steel cables
Im talking arms, shoulders, core, legs, glutes
Can arm wrestle Jason and win even if he does try his darnedest
Incredible sprinter
Does so many squats that she got the whole bakery lol
Really likes her muscles
Flexes in the mirror
Jason expressed to her how impressive it was a few times and it was partially why she fell in love with him lol
Will
Will has pretty good arm muscles actually and can lift heavy stuffs
Can lift his bf easily
He has a soft tum tho and padding on his arms
Does yoga and stretching and that works his core
Soft
Eats good proteins and veggies and gets good sleeps
Healthy boi 10/10

You Need To Cycle Sync
Tumblr media
Hey babes happy Monday!!! Today's topic is cycle syncing and the importance of cycle syncing. I must give credit to Jaz Turner, a YouTuber who has created an amazing video on cycle syncing. Cycle syncing involves adjusting your diet and exercise to support your body throughout your monthly hormone cycle.
Menstrual Phase
Also known as the “winter” (not pregnant)
Days : 1-5
Energy : you most likely have lower energy.
Eat : Red meat, fatty fish, shellfish, beets, mushrooms, greens, and seaweed. Try to reduce caffeine, alcohol, greasy and processed foods.
Movement : during this phase do low-intensity workouts such as yoga, pilates, walking, and foam rolling.
Focus : this is your detox phase.
Follicular Phase
Also known as the “Spring” (preparing for pregnancy)
Days : 6-14
Energy : you most likely have a bit of higher energy and less of an appetite.
Eat : light meals, you can include fasting, raw fruits and veggies, lean protein, fermented foods, flax, and pepitas.
Movement : during this phase do high-intensity workouts such as jogging, hiking, cardio, heavy strength training, and swimming.
Focus : this is your productivity phase.
Ovulatory Phase
Also known as the “summer” (likely to become pregnancy)
Days : 15-17
Energy : your energy level around this time is the highest, you are more confident and outgoing in this phase.
Eat : colorful fruits and veggies, broccoli, kale, cauliflower, cabbage, nuts, and avocado.
Movement : during this phase, your workouts will be highest intensity examples are cycling cardio, HIIT, CrossFit bootcamp, and sprinting.
Focus : this is your magnetic phase.
Luteal Phase
Also known as the “Fall” (potentially pregnant)
Days : 18-28
Energy : your energy level during this phase is lower and you have more cravings.
Eat : healthy fats, protein, sweet potato, greens, sunflower seeds, and sesame seeds. Try reducing added sugars, greasy foods, alcohol, and dairy from your diet
Movement : during this phase, your workouts will be moderate intensity examples are pilates, yoga, barre, light cardio, low-incline walking, and light strength training.
Focus : this is your nurture and rest phase.
Cycle syncing is definitely something I will be adding to my life and I saw the importance of it and wanted to share it with my ladiesss. The length of menstrual cycles varies between individuals, so the number of days listed for a 28-day cycle is just an average. For each phase, the listed foods should be added or reduced, not entirely removed from the diet during the "eat" portion. If you're interested in learning more about cycle syncing, I highly recommend doing further research online. There are plenty of resources available that can provide you with valuable information on the topic.

i need to act as if my life is a video game so i dont spiral into depr3ssion so i made a 30 day challenge lol. im gonna log it on here starting from tomorrow!!! and here it is if u wanna try it too. i literally just came up w it so idk if it's... doable?? but i tried to make it as self-compassionate and realistic as possible. tag it with "rebelle 30 day demure challenge" if u do it so i can see!!
rebelle's 30 day DEMURE glow-up challenge ♡₊ ⊹
workout:
at least 30 minutes of exercise (dancing, strength training, yoga, walking, etc.)
hydration:
drink 2 liters of water :3 stay hydrated, pookie.
mindful eating:
focus on whole, yummy (healthy, if that's what you want) foods, but no stressing over it! it’s not about restricting (*≧ω≦) it's okay to treat yourself~ be mindful of what you eat, but don’t obsess <3 we're not falling back into unhealthy eating habits! if this is too hard for u if you have a history of obsessing over diets, literally skip this part and just eat normally.
skincare routine:
morning and night: cleanse, moisturize, and don’t forget your sunscreen in the morning (✿◠‿◠)
active hobby:
dedicate 30 minutes to a hobby that brings you joy (writing, djing, playing with your cats) (^o^) no passive stuff like scrolling social media !! (i mean you can doomscroll but not during your allocated 30 minute hobby time!!)
mindfulness/gratitude:
spend 5-10 minutes meditating, journaling, or reflecting on things you're grateful for (✿´‿`) orrrr if ur like me just write down random thoughts in a notebook, it doesn't have to be so serious!!
progress photo:
take a cute daily pic to track your progress. it's about celebrating little changes, not perfection!
limit screen time before bed:
reduce screen use 30 minutes before sleeping to get that good beauty sleep (✿◠‿◠) maybe read book instead or tire out ur pets so they sleep through the night (and let you sleep through the night too)
track record for reflection:
log days when you couldn’t finish all tasks, but use it as a time to reflect! no guilt~ remind yourself: "tomorrow is a new day!" (•‿•)/ this is for preventing fear of failure ending up in giving up altogether. it's a marathon, not a sprint!!

🏒🏒🏒🏒
7:52pm, weight room
Jack tries to catch his breath before his last set of leg presses.
There’s something immensely satisfying about weight-lifting days. It’s straightforward; more weight, more reps, diversifying exercises—it all works together to translate to better performance on the ice: more power, more breakaway sprints, more goals. A simple A plus B equals C. Jack’s favorite kind of math.
Once, not that long ago, weight training days would have been solely about maintaining the perfect form, strict adherence to his own ridiculous goals, pushing his body to keep going, to be better, to go right up to the limit of what was possible—and then past it, regardless of all the warnings his coaches, his parents, his teammates, even his own mind were giving him.
But now Jack’s in a better place, he’s got more support, so he can just lose himself in the repetitive motion, the sensation of sweat down his back, the clean exertion of pushing his body in a healthy way.
Or, he could, if he wasn’t so distracted.
It isn’t Jack’s fault that the leg press machine faces the mirrors. It isn’t Jack’s fault that there’s a clear view of the hip adductor machine in said mirrors. And it certainly isn’t Jack’s fault that Bittle is ahead of him in the circuit, on said hip adductor machine, in said mirrors.
…But it might be Jack’s fault that he can’t stop watching.
Despite his size, Bittle’s always been strong. That much had been obvious from the way he could skate suicides for an hour, the way he could hurl his body so high into the air and spin, the way he could whip a meringue by hand without pausing, or switching hands. He’d been surprisingly dense when Jack had pushed him into the boards during checking practice last year, Jack’s attention caught by how Bittle’s muscles were highlighted as much as his haircut in the sunlight when he’d moved into the Haus this summer.
Bittle’s strength is glaringly obvious right now.
The mirror provides an optimal view for Jack as he rests before his last set. Bittle’s perched on the seat, hands on the grips behind him for balance. His brow is furrowed, and the collar of his shirt dark with sweat from the effort from today. For once, he’s not singing or humming or bouncing along to the music in his headphones; Bittle’s breathing in through his nose and out through his mouth carefully, measured, timing his exhales with every time he manages to bring his knees together. Jack’s whole being is focused on the way Bittle’s thighs flex as he pushes them from spread wide to knees touching and back again. Over and over. All of Bittle is glistening with sweat from the exertion under the fluorescent lights and Jack—
Jack has a sudden, visceral, all-consuming urge to taste. To run his hands from Bittle’s delicate ankles, up his calves. To hold Bittle’s thighs open wide with his shoulders so he can get his hands on his hips, his waist, his ass. To take his time, sucking the sweat from Bittle’s thighs hard enough to leave a line of bruises in his wake, before moving higher. To lick the sweat from the crease where his thigh meets his hip. To chase the drops of Bittle’s precome with his tongue. To take Bittle’s cock with his mouth, all the way to the hilt, before pulling Bittle’s hand to his own hair, encourage him to move Jack exactly how he wants, to take—
The resounding clang of Bittle’s weight stack yanks Jack out of the fantasy.
Câlisse de tabarnak—he’s in the middle of a workout, he can’t be getting distracted by a teammate of all people, and especially not Bittle. Jack depends on their hard-won friendship too much to ever even entertain the possibility—
Jack stands, busies himself with adding more weight to his own machine for his last set, determined to keep his eyes off the mirror, off of Bittle as he bustles around the machine, gathering his water bottle, bending over to wipe the seat down, ass facing the mirror—
It’ll be fine. Bittle will finish cleaning the machine. He’ll move on to the next stop in the circuit, to the machine that’s directly behind the hip adductor. Completely obscured from Jack’s view, and Jack will be able to finish his leg presses without getting distracted.
Bittle catches his eye in the mirror and gives him a small smile and a salute before bouncing off to the next machine and Jack—
Jack better do two more sets, just to be safe.

I think you are the most qualified person to ask this question since you write the tieflings so well: what Olympic sport would the tiefs complete in?
High praise indeed, Anon! Thank you so much!
Going through the list of events, I'm going to go through the adult Tieflings we see in the Grove. I'm also sticking to the summer events.
Zevlor is, of course, Equestrian, and more specifically eventing (which, I discovered, is basically a triathlon). Tilses would also take place in Equestrian, but she'd be focused on jumping. If the Hellriders aren't taking place in the equestrian events, it's a crime. Nuff said.
Rolan would be a swimmer. I think he'd would find swimming for exercise cathartic--the water resistance, the controlled breathing, engaging all your muscle groups to move through the water.
Lia would be a rower for a similar reason, engaging all the upper body muscles. I think she would do really well with a team, as well, and find a lot of fulfillment in it. Cal, in perhaps a surprising choice, would take part in gymnastics. His high strength score lends itself to strength based events. Imagine Cal taking on the pommel horse or the rings, holy shit.
Dammon, surprising absolutely no one, would take part in the hammer throw. But, before I remembered that existed, I also figured he would do well with shot put. Short bursts of power suit him.
Along a similar vein, Alfira would really excel at rhythm gymnastics as a form of artistic expression. Lakrissa, on the other hand, is a natural for archery, and in a modern AU would absolutely be that person doing trick shots on TikTok.
In canon, we know Bex is a great runner and that she was able to outrun the cultists. Thus, I can see her taking part in the sprinting events. Danis, meanwhile, I think would get the most enjoyment out of golf out of any of the events available. Outside of competition, I think he'd like the social aspect of it.
Komira is absolutely a Taekwondo girl--she was ready to throw down with the druids and strikes me as the type who wouldn't hesitate to fight for what she believes in. Locke's temperament, in contrast, reminds me more of a distance runner. He's much calmer than his wife.
So I debated between Asharak and Guex whom I thought would be a better fit for fencing--we see Asharak training the kids in fighting, and Guex using Main Hand Attack against Makeshift Training Dummy. Ultimately, I felt Asharak's temperament was a lot better for it and, frankly, that he would do well enough to compete on an Olympic level. Guex's event? Javelin Throw. We see him use potentially any weapon you sell Dammon against the Training Dummy if you defeat the druids (off the top of my head, I can't think of anyone who uses a javelin canonically otherwise minus maybe Cal). But I also think he'd like the challenge and feeling powerful without having to get into close quarters.
If we've talked Tiefling headcanon, you'll know I carry a headcanon that Okta is/was a monk and actively adventured until her pregnancy. Thus, she's a natural fit for Judo. Ikaron, too, does a physical event that requires a lot of control and precision: Boxing. Like Rolan with swimming, I think he'd find it cathartic.
Cerys would take part in the modern pentathlon. We don't know much about her backstory from the game besides her being a scout and the third leader option if both Zevlor and Asharak are killed in Act 1. Thus, IMO, she has to be extremely impressive in her own right. The pentathlon presently includes fencing, swimming, equestrian jumping, laser pistol shooting, and distance running.
Zorru and Yul are other canonical scouts. We know Zorru was able to make it Baldur's Gate presumably by himself, which means not only is he a good runner, but he has to be skilled at dodging obstacles, too. He's a natural choice for hurdles. Yul, we don't know enough about, but for the endurance required for scouting, let's slot him into cycling.
Kaldani and Rikka get to be our beach volleyball pair! I really wanted a duo that's seen a lot together in game, and they seem to get along well. I can see them working amazingly well at a team and being unafraid to work hard to win.
Damays and Nymessa were a little hard for me--I very much wanted Nymessa to be in breakdancing just to make Damays's head explode (at least the way I characterize them). But, in the end, I thought pole vault would be a good fit for her. Damays seems a fit for discus throwing.
Kanon strikes me as someone who would be really good at diving. We know he was a tailor in Elturel, and I think he'd appreciate the precision and artistry. Arka and Memnos? They get to be our tennis duos team. I think they'd balance each other well in the sport.
Pandirna absolutely has to be in weightlifting, all things considered. Let's hope she doesn't get in trouble for doping with Ethel's potions... Toron I think would be wrestling because wrestling cattle or something. Nadira would be sport climbing, because that seems to fit in well with her sneaking around devils and the like. (I can't remember at the moment how much of that is canon and how much of it was headcanon we came up with on the camp server.)
Eramis and Elegis I slotted into long jump and high jump respectively. At the time of writing this, this is based off vibes from each of them rather than anything in game that lent itself to this. Finally, Xeph, Rechel, and Amek get to be our synchronized swimmers, because we gotta have synchronized swimmers, and also I don't know where else to put them.
Hope you enjoyed the post!

Just throwing it out there because I see a lot of testimonials on social media about long COVID risk and the importance of bed rest/not pushing through your symptoms during the acute infection phase, but not as many warnings for the recovery phase, i.e. you’re a couple weeks out, testing negative, and more or less back to business as usual: you still really really REALLY REALLY need to take it easy. For way longer than you think you do. For at least six weeks, ideally, you should not be engaging in any strenuous activity whatsoever, even if you feel great and are totally confident you can handle it. Very light exercise – like short, leisurely walks, or just puttering around the house doing chores – is generally fine, at least in my own experience (confirmed COVID infection 2x, very probable that I’ve had it 3x). But do yourself a favor and play it safe and do not fuck around with any kind of high-intensity cardio or strength training for a fucking while. This is a serious viral infection that takes a LOT out of you and more than just a week or two of bed rest to clear.
I am vaccinated and bivalently-boosted, young and mostly healthy, and symptom-free for the better part of 2.5 weeks since my last bout with COVID. I also took Paxlovid which worked wonders for shortening the duration and severity of my illness. But on Friday night I jogged/sprinted close to a mile to catch a train, felt fine when I went to bed, and woke up on Saturday morning feeling like I got hit by a bus. Totally flattened. I was so tired I had to throw in the towel on all my errands and silly little tasks and just stay totally horizontal/No Thoughts, Head Empty for the duration of the weekend. Do not be stupid! Do not be like me! If you get infected, treat yourself exceedingly gently for the next couple of months. Seriously. Better safe than sorry!

What are the most effective exercises for weight loss?
Tumblr media
When it comes to losing weight, the key is to find exercises that you enjoy and can stick with consistently. Here are some of the most effective exercises for weight loss:
Walking: It's simple, free, and accessible. A brisk walk can burn calories, improve your mood, and be easy on your joints.
Running or Jogging: These are great for burning a lot of calories in a short time. If you're just starting out, you can alternate between jogging and walking.
Cycling: Whether on a stationary bike or riding outside, cycling is excellent for weight loss and also builds leg strength.
High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT): These short bursts of intense exercise followed by rest periods are incredibly effective for burning calories and boosting metabolism.
Swimming: This full-body workout is gentle on the joints and great for building endurance and muscle while burning calories.
Strength Training: Lifting weights or doing body-weight exercises (like push-ups and squats) helps build muscle, which can increase your resting metabolism and help you burn more calories even when you're not working out.
Group Fitness Classes: Activities like Zumba, kickboxing, or spin classes can be fun and motivating, making it easier to stay consistent.
Yoga and Pilates: While these might not burn as many calories as some high-intensity workouts, they help with flexibility, muscle tone, and stress reduction, all of which support weight loss.
Rowing: This is a fantastic full-body workout that targets multiple muscle groups and burns a significant number of calories. Plus, it’s low-impact.
Jumping Rope: It’s not just for kids! Jumping rope is an excellent cardiovascular exercise that can burn a lot of calories in a short amount of time.
Dance Workouts: From hip-hop to ballroom, dancing is a fun way to get your heart rate up and burn calories without it feeling like a chore.
Hiking: If you enjoy the outdoors, hiking is a great way to combine cardio with strength training (especially if you’re tackling hills).
Stair Climbing: Whether you use a stair machine at the gym or take the stairs whenever possible, this exercise targets your legs and glutes and can really get your heart pumping.
Kickboxing: This high-energy workout helps you burn calories while improving your coordination and building muscle.
Elliptical Trainer: This machine provides a low-impact workout that can help you burn calories and improve your cardiovascular health.
Additional Tips for Maximizing Weight Loss with Exercise:
Consistency is Key: Regular exercise is more important than occasional intense workouts. Aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate aerobic activity or 75 minutes of vigorous activity each week, combined with muscle-strengthening activities on two or more days a week.
Mix it Up: Variety can prevent boredom and target different muscle groups. Combine cardio with strength training and flexibility exercises for a well-rounded routine.
Stay Hydrated: Drinking water before, during, and after workouts helps maintain your energy levels and improves performance.
Monitor Your Progress: Keep track of your workouts and progress. This can help you stay motivated and make necessary adjustments to your routine.
Rest and Recovery: Don’t underestimate the power of rest. Your muscles need time to recover, which helps prevent injuries and improve performance over time.
Listen to Your Body: Pay attention to how your body feels during and after workouts. It's important to push yourself, but not to the point of injury or burnout.
By incorporating a variety of these exercises and tips into your routine, you'll be better equipped to lose weight and improve your overall fitness. Remember, the journey to weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint, so find what works best for you and stick with it!
Remember, the best exercise for weight loss is the one you enjoy and can do regularly. Combining different types of workouts can also keep things interesting and work different parts of your body. And don't forget to pair your exercise routine with a healthy diet for the best results!

warnings: predator/prey action, public sex, unprotected piv sex (protect yourself irl pls)
A/N: this got away from me. straight up. apparently even with my own rules I’m ungovernable, so it’s 9 sentences. it’s Thorn, so let’s just celebrate that I didn’t write 21 sentences 😅
Tumblr media
It had started as a training exercise to see how long you could evade Thorn in the ever busy streets of Coruscant, which he enjoyed far more than he should, and despite your best efforts, he always caught you within minutes, leaving you disappointed, but Thorn refused to let you talk down to yourself, stating you couldn’t speak to his cyar’ika that way.
You trained harder, mapping out new routes, as you learned the city, discovering pathways that played to your strengths and against Thorn’s weaknesses, the lows and highs of your training districts, developing routes that would only make sense to you, ending each session with sore muscles and high spirits before you challenged Thorn: if he could catch you in less than 15 minutes, you’d indulge his long-held fantasy of taking you in public.
Thorn’s laugh rang out, genuine and full of pride for his confident cyare before growing serious and giving you a 5 minute head start, watching as you raced away, completely focused on the victory at the end of the timer; despite the late hour, Coruscant was teeming with life, providing obstacles in the form of club goers and night owls of every species.
He watched you weave expertly through the throng, analyzing the patterns in your movement that you, yourself, likely weren’t aware of, which told him you’d been out training on your own, and that made him grin, as he was impressed with you for taking initiative, for being so competitive that you’d utilized your limited free time to provide him with a challenge.
Dodging and weaving, spinning and sprinting, with your heart nearly leaping out of your chest, as you caught flashes of red and white out of the corner of your eye down every street, through the night market, past 3 different cantinas, but each time it turned out to be nothing, yet you still pressed on harder than before determination coursing through your veins.
When you reached the night club you’d staked out you finally looked over your shoulder, and feeling confident -since you hadn’t caught sight of those flashy red wings amongst the crowd for two blocks- you hoisted yourself up onto the fire escape and climbed to the roof, crossing the smooth surface to pull open the door leading down to the club, only to find Thorn leaning against the doorway with his arms folded like he’d been waiting for hours, causing you to take a surprised step back.
He pulled off his helmet, and tugged you into his arms, lightly kicking the door closed behind him, as he crushed his lips to yours, letting you bury your fingers in his curls a moment before spinning you around pressing you up against the door, and working your pants over your hips and halfway down your thighs, as he removed his codpiece and let it hit the floor.
He pressed a finger inside you and teased you for being so wet, asking if you’d been planning to lose all along so he’d fuck you like this, which elicited soft moans and begging that only encouraged him to add another finger to prepare you to take him right there beneath the neon sign flashing blue, pink, and purple, illuminating your illicit activity.
Thorn’s moan of pure satisfaction, as he sheathed himself inside you, was music to your ears, and as the bass from the club below buzzed its way up your body through your feet, Thorn rocked into you, rolling his hips and pressing a hand between your legs to play with your clit, bringing you along for the pleasurable ride, and you decided losing felt even better than winning.
