Elevate your strength and stamina: Dive into intense training regimens with us
Introduction
Tumblr media
In the sanctuary of dedication, every drop of sweat that graces your brow becomes a testament to your unwavering commitment. The weights that once seemed daunting become your allies, whispering tales of strength into your eager ears. The pulsating music fuels the fire within, urging you to push beyond what was once deemed impossible.
Together, we sculpt not only the body but also the mind, forging an unbreakable connection between the two. Your muscles may ache, but they shall awaken stronger as if infused with the very essence of perseverance. The camaraderie formed in the crucible of training binds you with fellow seekers, creating a web of support that lifts you higher.
And as the days turn into weeks and weeks into months, you shall stand at the crossroads of change. Your reflection in the mirror will not only reveal a physical transformation but a metamorphosis of the soul. The trials endured have carved a mark upon your character, a symbol of your refusal to yield.
In the realm where determination meets sweat, where the fire of ambition burns brighter than the sun, we beckon you to embark on a journey of transformation. A journey that will sculpt your body, sharpen your mind, and forge an unbreakable spirit. Welcome to the crucible of training, a realm where ordinary limitations are shattered, and extraordinary potential is unearthed.
Imagine standing at the precipice of possibility, gazing into the chasm of your own limitations. Now, envision those limits crumbling away like ancient ruins before a relentless tide. This is the essence of our intense training regimen – a symphony of sweat and effort that composes a crescendo of strength and stamina. It’s not just about the physical, but the intertwining of body and soul, pushing beyond what you thought was achievable.
As you step into this world, you’ll find yourself guided by seasoned mentors who have danced with fatigue and embraced discomfort as a partner on their path to greatness. They will challenge you, not just with weights and circuits, but with wisdom forged through countless hours of dedication. With their guidance, you’ll learn that true strength isn’t just in lifting heavy objects, but in the resilience to keep moving forward when the weight feels unbearable.
The training grounds themselves are like no other – a canvas of grit and determination. Picture yourself sprinting across a field as the sun paints the sky in hues of gold, sweat cascading like liquid determination down your brow. Feel the burn in your muscles as you power through another repetition, your heartbeat synchronizing with the rhythm of your effort. Every drop of sweat that hits the ground is a testament to your commitment, a brushstroke on the canvas of your transformation.
But this journey isn’t just about the physical. Your mind, a boundless frontier, will also undergo a metamorphosis. It will learn to embrace challenges not as obstacles, but as stepping stones. It will unravel the art of focus, honing in on the task at hand amidst distractions. As you push your body, your mind will ascend to new heights, discovering a wellspring of resilience you never knew existed.
And stamina? It will become your closest companion. You’ll find yourself enduring longer, pushing farther, and embracing discomfort with open arms. Through high-intensity intervals and heart-pounding circuits, you’ll forge an endurance that extends beyond the physical – an endurance that whispers in the face of adversity, “I am unbreakable.”
But this journey, like any masterpiece, requires time and dedication. It’s not a sprint, but a symphony that unfolds with each note of effort. There will be moments of doubt, moments when the weights feel heavier than the world itself. Yet, it’s in those moments that you’ll discover the depth of your own strength.
Conclusion
So, as you embark on this odyssey of transformation, remember that every drop of sweat, every ounce of effort, is a brushstroke on the canvas of your potential. You are not just building a more muscular body, but a stronger soul. The journey will be tough, but the reward will be worth every single step. Are you ready to dive into the abyss of your own capabilities? To emerge from the crucible of training as a phoenix of strength and stamina, soaring to heights you never dreamed possible? The choice is yours. The journey awaits. So, dare to dive into the depths of these intense training regimens, for within them lies the alchemy of transformation. Embrace the challenge, and emerge reborn, a beacon of inspiration for those who witness your journey. The path is arduous, but the rewards are boundless—elevated strength and stamina, and a spirit that knows no bounds.

HEALTH SHOULD ALWAYS COME FIRST! PRIORITISING HEALTH BEFORE EVERYTHING ELSE TO LOOK GOOD + FEEL GOOD.
Tumblr media
People always leave out the basics when it comes to trying to improve their looks. Prioritising health is so important before going in and tempering with your body. Your base is what you work with and you can definitely level up with what you've got naturally.
DIET
Your diet also depends on what your goals are. Someone who wants to build muscle will obviously eat differently from someone who just eats relatively healthy. So identify what your goals are and work your meals around that.
Here are some videos to give you a better insight: HOW I LOSE FAT AND KEEP IT OFF MEANS, WORKOUTS + EVERYTHING ELSE PROTEIN EXPLAINED, STRENGTH, MUSCLES, FAT LOSS & ENDURANCE HOW METABOLISM WORKS
Diet not only makes you feel better from the inside, but it also reflects on your outside. Your skin is a huge display of how you eat.
Tumblr media
When you consume junk food, it can show up on your skin as breakouts or dullness. Your skin is one massive organ which soaks up everything put onto it and reflects everything you put inside your body. Fix the problem from the inside before getting confused about why your skincare routine isn't working.
FITNESS
Again, your fitness will differentiate from your goals. So work out your goals and make a plan around that. There are so many forms of fitness, some more intense than others and with different results. Working out in general is good for you, our bodies are meant to move. So even if you don't have a goal, staying active is always recommended.
HOW TO CREATE THE PERFECT WORKOUT PLAN
THE BEST WAY TO GAIN MUSCLE, SCIENCE EXPLAINED SIMPLY
Low-intensity workouts:
Yoga: Focuses on flexibility, strength, and relaxation through various poses and breathing techniques.
Pilates: A low-impact exercise method that strengthens muscles, improves flexibility, and enhances posture.
Walking: Simple yet effective, walking is a great way to improve cardiovascular health and boost mood without high impact.
Swimming: Provides a full-body workout with minimal stress on joints, making it ideal for people with joint issues or injuries.
High-intensity workouts:
HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training): Alternates between short bursts of intense exercise and brief recovery periods to maximize calorie burn and improve cardiovascular fitness.
CrossFit: Combines elements of weightlifting, interval training, gymnastics, and other exercises to build strength, endurance, and overall fitness.
Sprinting: Short, explosive bursts of running at maximum effort, often performed in intervals for cardiovascular conditioning and leg muscle strength.
Circuit Training: Involves moving through a series of exercises targeting different muscle groups with minimal rest in between, combining strength training and cardiovascular exercise.
These are just a few examples, but there are plenty of other workout styles out there to explore depending on your preferences and fitness goals. Walking every day is just a simple way to stay toned.
SLEEP
Sleeping is important for rest and recovery after workouts and energy-consuming activities. Sleep is needed for the brain to function, mood regulation and performance + productivity. Lack of sleep deprives you of all of these things, so getting your beauty sleep is absolutely needed.
School-age children (6-13 years): 9-11 hours per day.
Teenagers (14-17 years): 8-10 hours per day.
Young adults (18-25 years): 7-9 hours per day.
Adults (26-64 years): 7-9 hours per day.
HYGIENE
Upkeeping good hygiene is always needed anyway. Making sure you are clean (smelling good is a plus). Make sure you always wash your hands and take daily showers to remove any dirt on your body (clean those feet and your back well, don't forget them!). Taking care of your oral health must not be forgotten. Oil pulling and brushing your tongue for a healthy mouth. Make sure your hair is also getting the attention to keep it as healthy as you possibly can make it (this also depends on diet). Doing the extra things like spending time on your nails (making sure there isn't that stuff underneath them), making them pretty.
BODY CARE ROUTINE | FOR SMOOTH & GLOWING SKIN, TREATING KERATOSIS PILARIS, SHOWER ROUTINE
ENVIRONMENT
Having a stress-free environment is obviously the best to thrive in. But clearly not even being lucky enough to live like that constantly. So make sure you have that space to be on your own and have some alone time to really recharge. Keeping your space clean for a clear mind. Surround yourself with like-minded people and really set boundaries for those who prey on your mental clarity (energy vampires). Spending time in nature is one of the best ways to detach, rest time should not equal spending time on your devices. Let go and truly let yourself decompress. Mental health will improve how you carry yourself.
EMBODY YOUR POTENTIAL.

Hey pack, here's a set of exercises designed to enhance both mobility and muscle in a way that feels animalistic, powerful, and connected to your species. [this is directed at wolves and canines]
Wolfy Mobility & Muscle Workout Set
Daily Mobility Flow (5–10 minutes)
Do this as a warmup or wind-down. Focus on fluid motion and control.
1. Cat-Cow Spine Flow (1–2 minutes)
* Start on all fours. Inhale, arch back (cow); exhale, round (cat). Think of it as waking up your spine—like stretching in the forest.
2. Beast Crawl Hold (30 seconds x 2)
* Knees hover 1 inch off the ground. Core tight. Picture the moment before the pounce.
3. World’s Greatest Stretch (1 minute per side)
* Deep lunge with twist. Opens hips, spine, chest.
4. Deep Squat Rocks (1–2 minutes)
* Drop into a deep squat. Shift weight side to side. This helps with grounded readiness—like crouching in tall grass.
Wolfy Strength Training (3 times per week)
Aim for 3 sets of each. You can do this bodyweight-only or add resistance if you’re ready.
1. Quadruped Beast Crawls
* Forward, backward, lateral (15–20 seconds each direction). Builds core, shoulder stability, and animal-style movement.
2. Push-Up Variations
* Standard push-ups or inclined if needed. Optional: “Wolf push-ups”—lower slowly, explode up (8–12 reps).
3. Jump Squats / Crouch Explosions
* Deep crouch into leap (8–10 reps). Like a wolf leaping through underbrush. Builds power.
4. Bear Plank Shoulder Taps
* Hold bear plank (knees off ground) and tap opposite shoulder (20 taps). Great for balance, core, and staying light on your paws.
5. Glute Bridges / Hip Thrusts
* Builds powerful haunches. Add weight or do the single-leg version as you level up.
6. Superman Holds
* Lie on stomach, lift arms, chest, and legs. Hold for 30 seconds. Engages posterior chain—feel like you're running full sprint.
Optional Add-Ons
* Sprints (hill or flat): Tap into raw energy. 20-second bursts.
* Tree Climbs or Pull-Ups: Use what’s around you. Jungle gym? Branch? Hang and pull.
* Shadow Prowling: Crouch-walk slowly in a circle. Stealth practice. Builds quads, glutes, control.
Wolf Ritual Cooldown (2–5 minutes)
* Walk barefoot in grass or on dirt if possible.
* Stretch arms wide, let yourself yawn, snarl, or shake off energy.
* End with a breath in the nose, out the mouth—you are the creature, and the earth knows your scent.

Imagine being a Blue Lock manager! ⚽️
VERSION XV.
(a/n: literally my spirit animal ☝️guys excuse my colorblindness because wtf is this. ty for ur support, enjoy ❤️)
Warning-none
wc: 0,8k
also: @ttheggrimrreaper @irethepotato @ohagiyoo 🔥
——————
FROM THE PROLOGUE:
"Congratulations L/N Y/N! Based on your results, you've earned your place in Blue Lock as the manager of player number…
…25, Niko Ikki.”
Oh, okay, not bad at all. His rank was decent enough to pay off your hard work over the months, but you were a bit taken aback by the bangs that covered 90% of his icon, leaving you to wonder how in the world will you recognize him once you two meet.
Still, that being the least of your concerns—happy with your results—you said goodbye to the others, and headed towards the managers’ room to get your stuff before being dismissed to find the boy.
Imagine being Niko Ikki’s manager.
——————
Niko Ikki, who was similar to a hidden gem since he was—and still is—relatively short compared to some of his teammates, made it a challenge for you to spot him out of the bunch. Yet the moment he sprinted across the field in seconds even with bangs that covered half his face, confirmed everything you needed to know.
You watched him play for a while, taking in his strengths and weaknesses all while he secretly did the same, observing you from the field. Before he realized it, practice was over, and in the blink of an eye—to his shock—you were already right in front of him, congratulating his team’s victory.
Quickly moving on from one topic to another by the time he understood that he got his own manager, you were already far too deep into the new schedules, training sessions, and games to get to know each other better. He was a bit nervous by your lively presence, yet silently grateful for how you took the lead and put in a huge effort to be more comfortable with him.
By the end of the day you two were hitting the friendship line, the excitement of a new journey waiting ahead of you.
——————
•Niko who is literally the youngest in the facility means you are extra protective of him—be it on or off the field—which he really appreciates and smiles whenever you baby him.
•You’re the talking machine in the relationship while he barely ever mutters a word, standing behind you like a scared child.
•Everyone would imagine a soccer player to like P.E but this boy? He hates it, saying even lifting a finger seems tiring so you gotta put in some extra work to get him moving.
•Loves it when you time his 50 meter run tho, the only thing he dares to show off. Thinks a lot during matches, and analyzing with him feels like a 2 hour lecture for you.
•Very respectful all while being super cautious of everything. He’s careful not to cause you trouble, and always apologizes even for the tiniest mistakes.
•When you tell him you like anime, his eyes pop under his bangs as he becomes super thrilled to share his hobby with you. Always asks who your favorite character is then proceeds to judge you for it.
•You two also binge-watch a lot of anime instead of resting but he doesn’t mind it. It serves as a bonding activity and by the 12 episode of some series you basically become childhood besties.
•Niko whose heart suddenly beats faster than normal any time you clearly favor him over everyone else. It makes him feel like the main lead in a shoujo anime, and loves to brag to his teammates about it.
•After your continuous nagging, he tries to train harder despite his dislike for physical exercises so you always make sure to get him the best meals.
•Also, SNACKS. He lives for it when you secretly hide a bag of crisps or an extra protein bar inside his bag, risking your career just so he could munch on them—it means the world to him.
•Both of you try to stay indoors 24/7—excluding outdoor matches—rarely ever going out of the building, avoiding fresh air like the plague. (very healthy might I say)
•He focuses and trains hard for the U20 match, carefully noting down each suggestion you give him. Decides to cut off from the sneaky treats as well even tho it breaks his heart.
——————
AFTER THE U20 MATCH…
•Niko’s dream changes from being a striker to playing as a defender for his team. You, still not convinced about his sudden decision, talk his ear off each night causing the boy to shake you by the shoulders, and reveal his full face after a week of endurance.
•“Look me in the eyes! Do you think I’m joking?” he asks, followed by dead silence as you are too busy admiring his turquoise eyes, forgetting what he was even talking about.
•Refuses to show them ever again but from that day onwards, he’s often seen wearing cute hair clips you randomly put in his hair. The team teases him nonstop, and he just quietly mutters, “Shut up,” to everyone, refusing to take them off.
•Everyone knew he could be savage, but after joining the Ubers? He’s a menace during matches, dropping off roasts in the middle of a game as he steals the ball from the opponent.
•You practically have to put a hand on his mouth, or use tape to keep him from throwing in another shade before they report him for verbal harassment.
•Gets along with his new team quite well, the seniors take great care of the boy, making you feel at ease. He also loves to tell you the story of how they initially planned to dye Barou’s hair pink but decided against the idea, in case he beat them up.
•Starts to actually take training seriously, a hint of enjoyment hidden during practices. You make him do a bunch of exercises, upgrading his physique along with his vision on the field.
•He doesn’t let you make him do photoshoots, but interviews are fine. Nothing can go wrong as long as you don’t let him handle his own social media account because it’s guaranteed to get banned within 24 hours.

Hello love, ofc I can!!

Workout pt.2
You and Bakugou had been working out together for months now, and you could feel the difference. Your endurance had skyrocketed, your strength had increased, and your confidence in the gym was at an all-time high. Working out with him had become one of your favorite things to do, not just because of the results but because of the bond it strengthened between you two. One day, as you both walked into the gym, Bakugou tossed his bag onto the bench and cracked his knuckles, a signature smirk on his face. “Alright, since you handled my workout last time, let’s kick it up a notch.” You nodded, already feeling the fire in your veins. You wanted this. You wanted to keep pushing, to keep getting better. And if anyone was going to help you reach your potential, it was your boyfriend Katsuki. The workout started as usual—intense but manageable. Heavy squats, deadlifts, and bench presses. He spotted you through every rep, keeping a close eye on your form. “C’mon, you got this! Push through!” His voice was sharp but encouraging, never letting you give less than your best. By the time you reached the fourth exercise—an insane superset of weighted lunges and box jumps—you were drenched in sweat, muscles screaming, but you refused to stop. Bakugou noticed. He could see the determination in your eyes, the way you didn’t back down no matter how brutal the workout got. A proud grin crept onto his face. “Damn, look at you. You're doing not half bad. ” His voice was filled with pride, eyes were gleaming at you, and hearing/seeing that from him only fueled your fire. When you finally finished the workout, you collapsed onto the gym floor, breathing heavily. Bakugou sat down beside you, handing you a water bottle. “Didn’t think you’d make it this far when you first asked me to train you,” he admitted, chuckling. “Figured you’d tap out like those extras.” You rolled your eyes, playfully nudging him. “Well, guess you underestimated me.” He laughed, then his expression softened. “Yeah, I did. But damn, you proved me wrong. You always do.” Bakugou wasn’t the type to get sentimental, but you could tell by the way he looked at you that he was beyond proud. He reached out, ruffling your hair before standing up and holding out a hand to help you up. “Tomorrow, we’re adding sprints,” he said with a teasing smirk. You groaned but took his hand anyway. “You’re trying to kill me.” Please, if I was trying to kill you, you’d know it.” He slung an arm around your shoulder as you both walked out of the gym. “But nah, I’m just making sure my workout partner can keep up with me.” And honestly? You wouldn’t want it any other way.

Fight Scenes Involving Disabled Characters
This was inspired by a comment on one of my eariler posts by @rubyjewelqueen!
Level of Fighting Involved
Depending on the condition your character has, you'll want to adjust how physically strenuous the fight scenes are going to be. This can be done by:
Giving your disabled character a partner who'll take the worst of the fighting while the disabled character does what they can.
Giving them a partner/team they can call if they're in danger, which means they'll just have to hold on until backup comes.
Using the geographic location to limit the kind of attacks the opponent can launch.
Providing your disabled character with cool weapons (if you're writing sci-fi or fantasy, magical weapons are also an option)
Think about your character's capabilities:
Loss or Deformity of Limbs can be overcome by targeted physical training to make most of existing body parts, plus synthetic limbs if that's an option.
Muscular Dystrophy allows low-intensity exercises like walking and swimming. Your character might need breathing assistance as respiratory muscles weaken which means they won't be doing much sprinting. Braces/mobility aids needed.
Neuro Musculo Disability where there are no physical deformities but an inability to to perform controlled movements can plausibly be overcome with physical training and inventing new ways to grip and swing weapons meant for able people.
Conditions that affect one's energy and strength like CFS/POTS will be able to defend themselves quite well, but probably only for like 3-5 minutes before they need to recover for days. A rush of adrenaline and extreme anxiety will help them fight quite intensely, but you'll have to consider how much training they can get with their condition. Martial art skills that need hours of practice may be out of reach for them.
Weapons
The possibilities here are endless. Feel free to invent, or use everyday items as weapons. Just to list some common ones:
Canes, hiking poles, blades hidden in boots & at the end of walking sticks, hooked canes, T-bar cane, crutches
Self-defense items like pepper spray, stun guns, personal alarms
Daggers and light blades rather than swords, chakras they can throw around
Prosthetic can be used as weapons in dire circumstances. Your character may regret it afterwards.
handguns.
Adaptive Martial Arts
With more than 180 types and martial arts styles practiced worldwide, it’s nearly impossible to define a blanket answer to inclusion. But adaptive martial arts aim to help disabled people build physical strength.
Have a martial arts guru who is disabled themselves, and teach your hero how to fight.
Pick the martial arts that doesn't emphasize a particular skill your character doesn't have. For example, karate/kickboxing/ taekwondo emphasizes kicking which won't be possible for someone on a wheelchair. Might be better to avoid ones that involve lots of grappling. Jujitsu seems quite adaptable.

Comfort request!
Can I have a scenario where Class 1-A (and Aizawa) (platonic), discovering that their classmate had passed out due to exhaustion from over-exercise, and after she wakes up, she confesses that the reason she was exercising so much, is because during interships, some civilian said she was too fat to be a hero. (She’s chubby, but not un-healthy.)
Strength Beyond the Surface
Tumblr media
The sun was high in the sky, casting light through the wide windows of Class 1-A's training facility. The students were busy with their individual workouts, preparing for the next big challenge. However, there was a noticeable absence of one classmate: you.
You had been pushing yourself harder than usual lately, arriving early to train and staying late after everyone else had left. You could feel the fatigue building, but you ignored it, determined to push past the limits your body was setting. The memory of that civilian’s comment during internships echoed in your head:
"How can she be a hero when she’s so fat?"
It had stung more than you let on, and since then, you’d been over-exercising to prove to yourself—and maybe to everyone else—that you could be just as strong and fast as anyone else. But today, your body hit its breaking point.
As the rest of the class trained, a loud thud caught everyone’s attention. The room went silent as heads turned toward the source of the sound—where you lay, motionless, on the floor.
"Oi! What the hell?!" Bakugou was the first to react, storming over to your collapsed form. But the moment he saw you were unconscious, his usual scowl turned into concern. "Damn it, she passed out!"
Izuku sprinted over right behind him, panic written on his face. "Someone get Recovery Girl! Now!"
Aizawa, who had been observing from the sidelines, quickly stepped in, his usually stoic face betraying a flicker of worry. "Everyone, clear the area," he ordered calmly but firmly. He crouched beside you, checking for signs of consciousness.
Momo ran to call for Recovery Girl, while Todoroki knelt beside you, his usually cold demeanor melting into concern. "Is she okay?" he asked quietly.
Recovery Girl arrived swiftly and examined you, shaking her head. "She’s exhausted. It seems like she’s been overworking herself. Let’s get her to the infirmary."
Aizawa’s brow furrowed as he lifted you carefully in his arms, leading the way to the infirmary with the entire class following in silent worry. As you were laid down in bed, Recovery Girl worked her magic, and after a while, you slowly began to regain consciousness.
When your eyes fluttered open, you saw Aizawa leaning against the wall, arms crossed, and your classmates gathered around your bed, all with concerned expressions. Your head was spinning, but you were more overwhelmed by the weight of everyone's worried stares.
"You okay?" Kirishima asked softly, leaning closer.
You managed a weak nod. "Yeah, I think so."
"What were you thinking, pushing yourself like that?" Aizawa’s voice was calm, but there was an edge to it. He wasn’t angry—just worried.
You felt the lump in your throat tighten, and before you could stop yourself, the words spilled out. "During internships...some civilian said I was too fat to be a hero."
The room went dead silent. You avoided eye contact, suddenly feeling small despite the room being filled with your friends. "I know I’m chubby, and I thought maybe if I trained harder, I could prove them wrong… that I could be strong enough, fast enough… I just wanted to show them I can be a hero too."
Bakugou was the first to react, his voice sharp but somehow comforting. "That’s bullshit," he snapped. "You think being a hero is about how you look? You think All Might gives a damn about what some extra thinks?"
Todoroki, always more composed, nodded in agreement. "You’ve already proven yourself. You’ve saved people. That’s all that matters."
Ochako stepped closer to the bed, her eyes wide with empathy. "You don’t have to change yourself for anyone. You're amazing just the way you are."
Izuku’s voice was softer, but no less determined. "You’re already a hero in our eyes. Don’t push yourself until you break just because of one cruel comment."
You felt a wave of warmth wash over you, and though you tried to keep the tears at bay, one escaped and rolled down your cheek. "Thanks, guys."
Aizawa uncrossed his arms and walked over, standing beside your bed. "Listen," he said in his usual calm, authoritative tone, "being a hero is about your actions, not your appearance. You don’t need to prove anything to anyone. You’ve already earned your place here."
His words hit deep, and you nodded, the weight of his approval bringing you a sense of relief you didn’t realize you needed.
Mina smiled brightly, trying to lighten the mood. "Plus, who cares what some random person thinks? They’re not the ones in training to be pro heroes!"
"Exactly!" Kirishima grinned. "You’re strong just the way you are. Don’t forget that!"
A few moments passed in comfortable silence, and you couldn’t help but smile at how supportive your classmates were. You realized that the only approval you really needed was from yourself—and from the people who cared about you.
Aizawa gave you one last look, his voice softer now. "Take the time to recover. No more overworking yourself, understood?"
You nodded again. "Understood."
As the class began to disperse, giving you some space to rest, Bakugou lingered a little longer, crossing his arms. "Next time someone says something like that, just tell ‘em to screw off. You’re stronger than them anyway."
His way of comforting you was rough, but it made you feel a little better. You let out a small laugh, grateful for the support of your classmates and their unshakeable belief in you—just as you were.

What's the general range of endurance for a horse doing the job(s) it's good at? Like, how long can a racing breed sprint/gallop before you start risking injury? Can a Clydesdale pull a plow all day, or do you need to get as much done as you can in the morning? Etc.
It really depends on how intense the work is on the horse's body, as well as the size, age, and breed of the horse itself, and the rider's observations on when the horse is visibly showing signs of exhaustion. A lot of these calls are dependent upon the owner of the horse to make, because it is very possible to command a horse to work itself to death without even intending to. (I know, this isn't a very helpful answer, but it's very hard to answer questions like these with exact details since we're talking about animals and not machines)
Race horses are usually lightweight breeds like Thoroughbreds or Arabian Horses, and were never bred for doing Hard Farm Labor like pulling a plow or working like makeshift tractors on a farm, will often run until their hearts give out if their rider lets them or makes them, especially if the horse has been literally pent up with no opportunities to run around for themselves in a while, or is extremely stressed.
Race horses especially can get so enthusiastic about racing that they develop mental health issues if they don't get to run and gallop frequently. Healthy running horses, like messenger horses, could handle keeping an even pace on a well-maintained road for hundreds of miles, so long as the rider gave the horse opportunities to slow down, cool off, rehydrate (hydration is a big factor, because horses sweat the way people do, and can die of heatstroke or heat exhaustion like we can), and get at least a few hours of rest before continuing to travel. If the terrain is rougher than a well-maintained horse path, then a horse could struggle and tire much sooner, and may even need the rider to get off their backs and walk with them until they hit easier terrain to avoid injury/overtiring the animal.
A Clydesdale or Shire Horse, which are in the family known as Draft Horses, are better at very strength-demanding, slow work (think cardio vs. weight training in humans; professional weight lifters have very different physiques, skill sets, and exercise/diet needs compared to a competitive sprinter), like pulling a plow, and it was often left up to the handler of the horse to judge when their horses are starting to get too tired and need a break. Horses pant, sweat, and generally show a lot of the same symptoms humans do when they're overheated and risking heat exhaustion or stress-based exhaustion. Horses that are given more rest-times tend to stay working longer in their lives than horses that are consistently overworked; again, like professional athletes. Professional athletes retire very young because of the intensity of their athletic life aging their bodies prematurely and making them more vulnerable to injury. The same applies to horses.
For pasture that's already been tilled and cleared of obstacles like buried rocks in the past, a working horse could probably do most of the morning/afternoon pulling a plow through "easy" soil and terrain as long as it's not too hot out (heat is a major cause of stress-related death in work horses), receive break-times to drink water and cool down, regular hoof checks (a sharp object penetrating a horse's foot can very easily result in a horse's death, so a major part of horse care is keeping their hooves clean). However, most farms that could afford draft horses instead of oxen would often own multiple to switch out when one or more of their horses got too tired during the day. Oxen were often the bulldozers-of-choice around most farms for such intense work like plowing rough soil (eg soil will a lot of stones in the way or a ton of clay), and generally did the jobs better than horses at a much lower cost per ox. Draft horses were incorporated into a lot of farming during the Victorian Era in particular as a sign of wealth and affluence on a farm, rather than actually employing the best animal for the job they needed to do. Oxen still tend to be better at a lot of farming-related work, but the horse breeding industry very much pushed the ox-training industry nearly to into extinction in the West.
Seeing draft horses doing the work that oxen used to do is more a product of showing off your wealth as a farmer than actually having the ideal animal for the job that needs doing, and so class perception and classism plays a large part in where and when you see horses doing the jobs that heartier animals like oxen are better suited for. Historically, a lot of farmers would sacrifice the utility and durability of oxen for the flashiness of draft horses, just like how today you'll find more specialized farming equipment on wealthier farms vs. cheaper, still-good-at-what-it-does-but-not-having-a-popular-brand-name equipment you'd find on a family farm.
So... realizing this reply is running incredibly long, the answer is: It depends on the setting, situation, the horse(s), and the care and responsibility of the owner/handler in addressing symptoms of exhaustion in the animal(s). On a cool, breezy day, a draft horse could work most of the morning and part of the afternoon, especially if the work they're being asked to do is fairly low-impact for them (again, depending on the job you're asking it to do and whether it's just one animal or multiple, how quickly a horse becomes exhausted is heavily influenced by outside factors), but may overheat and need to stop by mid-morning on a really hot, sunny day. That's the tricky thing about working with animals: They don't come with exact guarantees for how much mileage or power they can put out every day, and are vulnerable to health and environmental factors when it comes to how hard they can work and how long.

Wrong Place, Wrong Time (pt. 1)
DO NO HARM.
Whew. After months (almost a year?) of marinating this chapter, I've decided to cut it in two. Thought about titling this chapter: Shit Hits The Fan. Enjoy!
WARNINGS: BBU setting, struggles with bodily autonomy, recovering alcoholic, mentions of violence
Jaime hits the ground with more force than he expects. His back takes the brunt of the fall, and for a moment, he is rendered breathless. A few weeks ago, the impact might have triggered a memory of real violence. Now, he gulps in a few deep breaths, feeling the grass at his back, until Ezra’s face eclipses the sunlight overhead.
“That was better,” Ezra says, extending a hand. Jaime takes it and lets himself be pulled to his feet.
“I can’t seem to stay on my feet,” Jaime huffs, frustrated. He swipes an arm across his face, pushing aside the hair that clings to his forehead.
“You’re doing fine,” Ezra says. “Getting knocked down is half the process of learning.”
Jaime grimaces. “I must be learning a lot, then.”
Ezra grins. “You are,” he says, sounding like he might actually mean it. “You’ve already improved from where we began. For now, take five and drink some water.”
“I can go again,” Jaime insists, already rocking back into his sparring stance.
“We have all day.” Ezra grabs Jaime’s water bottle and pushes it gently against his chest. “You’ll burn out quickly if you don’t pace yourself.”
At the finality in his tone, Jaime relents and collapses back onto the grass. He downs half his bottle in one go.
It’s been over a month since Ezra offered to teach Jaime how to spar. At first, the idea unsettled him in a way he couldn’t pin down. He didn’t understand the point of it. Ezra knew more than most how little Jaime’s ability to fight mattered; it isn’t an imbalance in physical strength that keeps him in his position. It is the law, the society, and the institutions decades in the making that hold the end of Jaime’s leash. Something about learning the art of self defense and knowing he is never allowed to exercise it feels more cruel than not learning at all.
One session, Ezra had wagered. Train with me once and see how you feel.
The first time, Sebastian stayed to observe at Jaime’s request, perched on a piece of exercise equipment in Ezra’s basement gym. Jaime, who spent the week leading up antsy and nervous, watched with rapt interest as Ezra wrapped his hands.
They started slow.
The first time Jaime hit the ground, the room went silent. In the split second of shock and pain, a flare of violent memories flashed before him: a handler shoving him onto his back, his foster father slamming him up against the hallway wall. Distantly, he heard Sebastian’s voice break through the budding panic. “Maybe we should call it a day?”
Something about that—the grounding reminder of where he was, who he was with, and that the choice was his to walk away—snapped him back into his body. Ezra watched him from where he stood several feet back, not coming to his side and not saying anything in response to Sebastian’s concern. Instead, he watched Jaime, waiting to see what choice he would make.
The choice was his.
Jaime pushed himself onto shaking legs, nodding once to Sebastian before meeting Ezra’s unwavering gaze. “Let’s go again.”
Ever since that day, Jaime has taken to training with a level of enthusiasm he didn’t realize he was still capable of feeling. There is an itch for it under his skin when he wakes up some mornings. When he stretches, he relishes in the way his muscles burn from their previous session. On his morning runs, he thinks through new techniques Ezra showed him and commits to perfecting them next time they meet.
On the evening after their third sparring session—Jaime still sweat-damp and shaking from exhaustion in the passenger seat of Sebastian’s car—he realized that this feeling was familiar. It was a sense of liberation he hadn’t felt since he last sprinted across a soccer field under the stadium lights, since the night he tore off across the backyard of a party with Derek at his side, high on the revelation that he might want to kiss him. It was the realization that training with Ezra made Jaime feel in control of his body for the first time in a long time. And that is a gift he can never repay.
Ezra sinks down onto the grass beside him, uncapping his own water bottle. It’s almost embarrassing how he barely breaks a sweat against Jaime. Maybe one day he’ll give him a run for his money.
From the screened window above the kitchen sink, Jaime can hear laughter from inside the house. He titled his head and smelled… something? Sebastian and the others insisted they would take care of dinner tonight and leave Jaime and Ezra to their workout. Jaime doesn’t know much about Sam and Aria’s skills in the kitchen, but…
Ezra smiles at him, nodding his head toward the sound. “How do you think it’s going in there?”
Jaime shrugs and lets his head fall back, enjoying the sun on his face. Spring is starting to blossom, slowly but surely, and it’s the first warm day of the year. “Nothing is on fire,” he says. “So it can’t be that bad.”
****
“Cilantro can substitute oregano, right? They’re basically the same thing?”
“No,” Sebastian and Aria say at the same time. Sam’s expression falls. The frown paired with the 1950s-housewife-style apron creates quite the endearing image.
“It’s not too late to order Thai food,” Aria mutters, pouring herself another glass of wine. Sebastian chuckles around a swig of lemonade.
He didn’t make a big deal about staying sober these last few weeks, but he’s pretty sure Aria clocked it anyway, judging by the way she has kept the bottle out of arm’s reach of him all evening. He pretends not to notice. She pretends not to notice him not noticing.
It’s been a good day.
He can tell Jaime tried to hide his enthusiasm about a return visit all week. He never asks him about it outright, but his demeanor visibly perks up at any passing mention of Saturday dinner at Sam and Ezra’s. Sebastian offered to take him over there before work on any given weekday so that Jaime didn’t have to spend the day alone in the house, but that’s where his enthusiasm waned. Jaime isn’t quite comfortable enough to be alone with anyone except Sebastian, but Ezra comes close, he thinks.
It’s good. It’s so good to see Jaime like this—surrounded by people who care about his well-being, expressing more autonomy than he has ever been allowed in Sebastian’s presence. It’s moments like this that tempt Sebastian into believing that it was worth it, slogging all these months through the misery of WRU, just to bring him to Jaime. To bring Jaime here.
And maybe it was worth it so Sebastian could meet the others, too; his first friends in a very long time.
They are laughing when the front door opens, so none of them hear the unexpected entrance until Julian Hernandez is suddenly standing in the doorway.
The room goes silent. Sebastian nearly shatters the glass in his hand to keep it from slipping to the floor.
“You need to leave,” Sebastian says, the panic overriding any facade of politeness.
Julian, who is skeptical of Sebastian on his best day, says, “Excuse me?”
“Shit,” Aria says, stepping up beside him. “Jules, he’s right.”
Julian looks around, taking in the sight of all of his friends there without him, and Sebastian thinks he sees a quickly masked flash of hurt pass through his expression. “You asked me to take a look at your transmission last week,” he tells Sam. “I brought my tools.”
“I did say that,” Sam says. “But I didn’t mean tonight. I’m sorry. This… isn’t a good time.”
His mouth presses into a thin line. He glances over at Aria. “Yeah,” Julian says. “I can see you’re busy.”
“It’s not like that, Jules.” Aria insists. “Tate’s—” she starts to say. But it’s too late. It’s too fucking late.
Because then the back door slides open and Jaime steps through, trailed by Ezra. They’re mid conversation, murmuring quietly. Both of their shirts are soaked through with sweat, clumps of hair clinging to their foreheads. Jaime is smiling—honest-to-god smiling—and Ezra is laughing at something he said, until his eyes meet Julian’s from across the room and he goes still. He puts a hand on Jaime’s shoulder.
“Fuck.” It’s Julian who says it, a breathy whisper as he realizes the clusterfuck he has just set in motion.
It’s the last sound in the room before shit hits the fan.
Jaime is the last one to spot the new presence in the room, and when he does, his entire body locks up. The blood drains from his face, making his pale skin nearly translucent. His knees hit the ground before anyone can intervene.

i need to act as if my life is a video game so i dont spiral into depr3ssion so i made a 30 day challenge lol. im gonna log it on here starting from tomorrow!!! and here it is if u wanna try it too. i literally just came up w it so idk if it's... doable?? but i tried to make it as self-compassionate and realistic as possible. tag it with "rebelle 30 day demure challenge" if u do it so i can see!!
rebelle's 30 day DEMURE glow-up challenge ♡₊ ⊹
workout:
at least 30 minutes of exercise (dancing, strength training, yoga, walking, etc.)
hydration:
drink 2 liters of water :3 stay hydrated, pookie.
mindful eating:
focus on whole, yummy (healthy, if that's what you want) foods, but no stressing over it! it’s not about restricting (*≧ω≦) it's okay to treat yourself~ be mindful of what you eat, but don’t obsess <3 we're not falling back into unhealthy eating habits! if this is too hard for u if you have a history of obsessing over diets, literally skip this part and just eat normally.
skincare routine:
morning and night: cleanse, moisturize, and don’t forget your sunscreen in the morning (✿◠‿◠)
active hobby:
dedicate 30 minutes to a hobby that brings you joy (writing, djing, playing with your cats) (^o^) no passive stuff like scrolling social media !! (i mean you can doomscroll but not during your allocated 30 minute hobby time!!)
mindfulness/gratitude:
spend 5-10 minutes meditating, journaling, or reflecting on things you're grateful for (✿´‿`) orrrr if ur like me just write down random thoughts in a notebook, it doesn't have to be so serious!!
progress photo:
take a cute daily pic to track your progress. it's about celebrating little changes, not perfection!
limit screen time before bed:
reduce screen use 30 minutes before sleeping to get that good beauty sleep (✿◠‿◠) maybe read book instead or tire out ur pets so they sleep through the night (and let you sleep through the night too)
track record for reflection:
log days when you couldn’t finish all tasks, but use it as a time to reflect! no guilt~ remind yourself: "tomorrow is a new day!" (•‿•)/ this is for preventing fear of failure ending up in giving up altogether. it's a marathon, not a sprint!!

Heroes of Olympus---fitness/body related hcs
***Idk if anyone would even plan on it but Please do not comment or tag this as anything sexual as it is not meant like that in any way whatsoever***
Percy
Everyone lost some weight on the big Argo II voyage due to stress and all the fighting and everything, Percy is no exception.
In general, though, he is still leaner than Jason and has slightly less upper body/ pectoral strength than he does.
However, he has THE fucking core strength ever
Unless he's been really, really exerting himself he normally has a cushion of belly fat over his abs but if you feel his abs they're wow so strong
Also bunch of shoulder strength, he does lots of climbing
He honestly needs some squish especially in scenes set After Gaea’s defeat. One of the reasons im writing these hcs is that I hate the fanarts that give the demigods six or eight pack abs and 0 body fat like?? Have u ever seen a 16-17 year old boy with chiseled abs. Especially one that eats like mr Jackson. His mother is feeding him good on seven layer dip and cheeseburgers and cookies and blue candy and he drinks blue cherry Coke and eats his fill of barbecue every day at camp you Cannot tell me he has no body fat arrgggh
He probably looked like that while he was in Tartarus though bc he was probably really dehydrated and exhausted lmaoo
V good sense of balance and coordination
Jason
Jason’s got more strength in his arms/shoulders/upper body than anything else
Big arm and chest muscles
Also naturally has belly--when he's not worried abt food--but he tends to stand taller so you can't see it as much
Probably lost the most weight on the voyage. Too busy making sure everyone else was okay and also healing from his various injuries. He also had to be absolutely sure there was enough food for everyone else so he was worried abt taking too much
Generally spends more time exercising and has hardly ever seen a junk food in his life and eats a lot of protein bc hes always lived at camp jupiter so he's very muscle
Piper
Piper didn't really start exercising until she came to camp so she's probably the least physically strong in comparison
More squish than Annabeth. Carries fat in hips and thighs and belly
Thinks/feels like she's fat and low key worries abt it
Was only mildly disappointed when she started demigod training and her belly didn't instantly disappear lol
Kind of jealous of how Annabeth is so thin and athletic but Annabeth wishes she had Pipers thighs/boob/curves loll the curse of being a woman
Piper also feels like she has baby face compared to Annabeth bc she has chubbier cheeks and it annoys her
She's got a pretty good sense of balance tho
Pretty good at running fast but she doesn't have as much stamina as Annabeth
Shes quite flexible also
Pretty good swimmer
Annabeth
Naturally quite thin
been training her whole life so she's got strong arms and legs and core
Really good at running and sprinting
Very agile too
Core strength and upper body strength
Great at dodging attacks, less good at blocking
Tallest of the girlies
Climber shoulders/back muscles
Wishes she had Piper’s curves kinda. She doesn't care all that much but occasionally is like damn wouldn't that be nice
Frank
Arrgh I hate how in the middle of the series Rick took away all of his fat. Screw you sir. Put it back. Put it bacK
So Frank Immediately gets his tum back in the span of a few weeks
He's also really tired for the next however long after the Mars boy magic adrenaline wears off bc where's his fuel??? Gone!!
Very good at Lifting stuff. He had to carry stuffs for his grandma all the time bc she was old
Mostly strong in the arms and chest/pectorals
His growth spurt happened real quick so he's still not used to how big he is which is why he's all clumsy
Needs to work on balance and coordination lol
Although he got most of his chub back, his Babyface™ didn't come back quite so strong
Hazel
Hazel is the shortest girlie
Was really thin back in the 40s and then gained quite a bit soon after she came back to life. She was very confused and probably horrified
This was bc of a combination of having a growth spurt, pressure on little girls to be thin back then and the times having changed now, having enough to eat now, and changes in the amounts of additives and high fructose corn syrup and shit in foods
She was really distraught for a while bc much like Nico’s internal conflict with The Gay, decades ago being chubby was an unforgivable sin for a little girl
Obv not to Nico’s extent bc I don't think people were killed for being fat but still
It takes her a while to see it as not a bad thing but just a thing
She has pretty evenly distributed muscle strength because when she started exercise at camp jupiter they worked All The Groups
Leo
We love our tiny little shrimp man
He didn't get enough to eat during his growth spurt so he's kind of stunted
Even though he's a hephaestus boy he could not for the life of him build a lot of muscle
He's not that strong
He's probably pretty flexible though
Nico
Also stunted because he didn't eat enough in his growth spurt
Pretty strong though
Smol but he is still growing
Is getting taller and will almost definitely surpass Leo
Also is slowly gaining a healthy amount of weight as he stays at camp and Will makes him eat and sleep more regularly and now he's less tired all the time
Pretty good core strength and balance and agility
Looks more his child age now that his cheeks are more filled in
Reyna
Buff Girl
Girlie works out when shes stressed and now she's got muscles like steel cables
Im talking arms, shoulders, core, legs, glutes
Can arm wrestle Jason and win even if he does try his darnedest
Incredible sprinter
Does so many squats that she got the whole bakery lol
Really likes her muscles
Flexes in the mirror
Jason expressed to her how impressive it was a few times and it was partially why she fell in love with him lol
Will
Will has pretty good arm muscles actually and can lift heavy stuffs
Can lift his bf easily
He has a soft tum tho and padding on his arms
Does yoga and stretching and that works his core
Soft
Eats good proteins and veggies and gets good sleeps
Healthy boi 10/10

Get to know your crew!
Username: @tealshoes
I go by: Teal (she/her)
How far I am into (fitness/health) journey: 5 months (sort of). I had a personal trainer for a few months in uni years ago and lost a bunch of weight then gained it back and more since covid. Decided at the end of January this year that I was going to sign up for a 5k. So, beginner but my body definitely remembers how to lift weights.
What I usually do for exercise: Running, cycling, and strength training. Recently added swimming as well!
What I want to do/work on in terms of activities: I'm looking to build up my endurance (and speed, but that's secondary) in running and swimming specifically. I also want to do more long bike rides.
What are my biggest struggles: Making time. I have family staying at my house for like 3 weeks this summer, and between my full-time day job and a part-time masters degree I'm really working to fit training in.
What I most commonly fall off the wagon for: A sweet treat. It's summer and here in Canada we only get like 3 nice months of weather a year lol so between ice cream, s'mores, and a glass of wine in the backyard I can get thrown out of my routine pretty quick.
Potential physical/mental things that can hold me back or make my journey difficult: Time again, trying to fit training into my schedule can be hard when I'm mentally exhausted at the end of the day. Also my shoulder definitely did not like swimming today, going to have to work on that.
Things that make me happy: A bike ride on a sunny day, fresh fruit, cold water, new kit 😆
Things that make me feel good about myself: Watching my fitbit and strava stats improve. I am a simple creature and I love it when numbers go up, especially when I don't also feel like I'm dying in the process.
Things that make me uncomfortable about myself: My pace. Maybe it's the triathlon tiktok brainrot but I am not a fast runner, swimmer, or cyclist, and I'm a little insecure about it. The last cross country race I ran as a kid I got lapped by the race that started after mine and my brain is still hanging onto that embarrassment.
Short term goals: Running my 5k race on Sunday! I also want to build a consistent routine for training since so far it's been just when I can find time.
Long term goals: A triathlon! I'd like to start with a try-a-tri distance and work up to the sprint and Olympic distances. An ironman sounds like hell no thank you lol Also trying to beat (or at least outrun) my genetic cardiac issues because they're a mess on both sides.
What I draw inspiration from: A really good playlist and sometimes the og Naruto soundtrack.
What demotivates me: How boring running can be.
What I need from this community to help me achieve my goals: Regular check-ins and posts! I'm excited to see everyone else's workouts and goals too 😊 I already post about my training sessions like I'm talking to myself (or into the void lol) but a little more accountability is going to be great!

Hi, I was talking with a user about how quirks can enhance a person's ability, in the sense of strength and speed, and how Izu is far below the rest. Which, I guess, makes sense, but it paints a scene in my mind of, once again, unfairness and a hushed and sloppy storyline.
In Aizawa´s test, Izu did worse than everyone else. Was that the truth? Maybe so, but the guy who can lift fridges is not stronger or faster than the others? (bc if he was that is against AM 10 months and all this kid got as exercise is to clean a beach alone, holy shit Izu is failed by so many people wow)
I don't know if the author is being malicious against Izu (too early for that) or if he is incompetent (or both, really)
No one in UA helps Izu in any way. And he helped against villains (true, he wasn't the only one, but still)
If Izu was doing poorly in terms of strength and agility, than people like Mineta (which I´m sorry, I can't believe it), it marks once again how he doesn't fit in with heroes.
If Aoyama was called Aesop´s bat, then Izu is the ugly duckling. "Oh, but in the story, the ugly duckling became a swan," but for the other ducks, that particular duck IS still hideous.
Hi @mikeellee 👋
From my understanding, the quirk apprehension test is actually the student's quirkless middle school exercise exams, except the only difference here is that they're using their quirks. Aizawa states that he got his results based on calculating their average score.
Now, this makes sense as here students can use their quirks to get a really good score on one test and cover up for tests that they might not be able to do so well on. So, for example, shoji could use his quirk for grip strength and the ball throw test to cover for the sprint test that he might not do so well on due to the nature of his quirk.
However, there are students such as Toruu and Mineta whose quirks may not help them with any of the tests so they would perform at their middle school quirkless level however, there are multiple reasons as to why izuku got last place.
Throughout the tests, Izuku didn't use his quirk at all, focusing on not overexerting himself and accidently breaking his bones. This would have already put him on the bottom half of the list, and even if he has all mights training, that doesn't compete with the rest of the class.
After Izuku uses his quirk and injures himself, he still has to continue, and that did heavily affect his performance on the remaining tests, which would have been his speciality since they were long distance running and a few other tests. Izuku does state that the pain was so bad and that it was definitely a contributing factor as to his low scores.
Horikoshi has set this to be an underdog narrative, so Izuku being at the bottom of the list makes sense if we view it based on Horikoshi's intent
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
When we are given the leaderboard we aren't actually ever told anyone's scores so even if Izuku did end up at the bottom of the list he could have had really close scores to Mineta and toruu meaning that if it wasn't for the pain due to his finger breaking he could have probably secured a place in the 18th spot or somewhere along that area.
Tumblr media
However, the quirk apprehension test does make you question and critique aizawa's teaching style. Is it really ethical to let a student with a broken finger continue? Or to let that child go through his schooling, not knowing how to control his quirk in a safe manner? Is it okay to NOT punish a student after that student tried attacking another student with his quirk?
I think in the end, this goes back to UA being a horrible institution, and while Canon has strong foundations for this, it doesn't ever fully question it.

You Need To Cycle Sync
Tumblr media
Hey babes happy Monday!!! Today's topic is cycle syncing and the importance of cycle syncing. I must give credit to Jaz Turner, a YouTuber who has created an amazing video on cycle syncing. Cycle syncing involves adjusting your diet and exercise to support your body throughout your monthly hormone cycle.
Menstrual Phase
Also known as the winter” (not pregnant)
Days : 1-5
Energy : you most likely have lower energy.
Eat : Red meat, fatty fish, shellfish, beets, mushrooms, greens, and seaweed. Try to reduce caffeine, alcohol, greasy and processed foods.
Movement : during this phase do low-intensity workouts such as yoga, pilates, walking, and foam rolling.
Focus : this is your detox phase.
Follicular Phase
Also known as the “Spring” (preparing for pregnancy)
Days : 6-14
Energy : you most likely have a bit of higher energy and less of an appetite.
Eat : light meals, you can include fasting, raw fruits and veggies, lean protein, fermented foods, flax, and pepitas.
Movement : during this phase do high-intensity workouts such as jogging, hiking, cardio, heavy strength training, and swimming.
Focus : this is your productivity phase.
Ovulatory Phase
Also known as the “summer” (likely to become pregnancy)
Days : 15-17
Energy : your energy level around this time is the highest, you are more confident and outgoing in this phase.
Eat : colorful fruits and veggies, broccoli, kale, cauliflower, cabbage, nuts, and avocado.
Movement : during this phase, your workouts will be highest intensity examples are cycling cardio, HIIT, CrossFit bootcamp, and sprinting.
Focus : this is your magnetic phase.
Luteal Phase
Also known as the “Fall” (potentially pregnant)
Days : 18-28
Energy : your energy level during this phase is lower and you have more cravings.
Eat : healthy fats, protein, sweet potato, greens, sunflower seeds, and sesame seeds. Try reducing added sugars, greasy foods, alcohol, and dairy from your diet
Movement : during this phase, your workouts will be moderate intensity examples are pilates, yoga, barre, light cardio, low-incline walking, and light strength training.
Focus : this is your nurture and rest phase.
Cycle syncing is definitely something I will be adding to my life and I saw the importance of it and wanted to share it with my ladiesss. The length of menstrual cycles varies between individuals, so the number of days listed for a 28-day cycle is just an average. For each phase, the listed foods should be added or reduced, not entirely removed from the diet during the "eat" portion. If you're interested in learning more about cycle syncing, I highly recommend doing further research online. There are plenty of resources available that can provide you with valuable information on the topic.
