Apollo wanted to laugh, he really wanted to, but he had learned not to make fun of other people's shit, but damn, could you blame him? He definitely never thought that Leo Valdez was an opponent for him, don't get him wrong, he was saying it because he likes him. (really) and helped him during his mission, but there, standing from his palace on Olympus, he could see everything, including if someone was threatening against you, his wife.
Flames rose as Leo threw the map into the air in fury, totally frustrated in Festus. He couldn't find you, in fact, Apollo kept wondering how he was tracking you, but he didn't seem to want to answer that question. No, or he would end his patience, yes, he had appreciation for the Son of Hephaestus, but when they messed with you, he would lose his mind immediately, or worse, try to get into their relationship? He would be in charge of throwing Leo from the Mount Olympus.
Of course, he wasn't afraid, much less jealous, but he knew what the relationship with Leo had meant to you. You were totally in love, even Apollo knows that you would have married him if only Leo hadn't screwed things up, and boy did he do it big.
He mean, cheating on you with the now ex-sorceress Calypso? Oh, man. Who the fuck would cheat on you? Hmm, yes, Leo Valdez.
The main doors of the palace opened and Apollo dissolved the image. Some murmurs were heard, followed by footsteps heading towards the main throne room, it was definitely you.
— Apollo?—  He heard the doors opening, and he stood in front of the fire, he didn't want to lie to you, but he couldn't interfere either, he knew that would make you upset. The footsteps approached and he felt you take his arm. — Apollo!—
He looked at you and feigned surprise. He raised both hands in welcome and cradled your face with them before giving you a chaste kiss on the lips. — My beautiful wife.
You closed your eyes when his lips touched yours, and you smiled tenderly.
— Dear husband — You said in a soft mocking tone. You used to do it when Apollo couldn't help but sound so… posh. But to tell the truth, he filled you with joy.
He ran his fingers over your forehead, removing some baby hairs, and made a golden wreath of laurels appear on the crown of your head. He always spent his time adorning you and making you feel loved, you loved him.
Then, Apollo forced himself to blow out the bubble.
— Do you want something, dear?
— I know we're on… — your cheeks turned pink — the honeymoon, but I need to go to Camp Jupiter.
Your pleading eyes, damn, not even Zeus would dare say no to you. Then, he realized what was happening. Apollo tried to hide the realization from himself, but that name began to swirl in his mind; The Fates. Those antiques would hear about him.
—The honeymoon is an old concept, with traditions that we really don't take so… literally anymore —Apollo said as he gently ran his fingers over your blushing cheeks. —So, you know you can come and go whenever you want. I'm not like my uncle Hades.
The blonde giggled, and you poked his arm, making him jump.
— Apollo!
— My love!
You looked at him with a frown, and he smiled even more, trying to push aside all those thoughts where you could get hurt.
It was a fact, you were going to meet Leo at Camp Jupiter, and he wouldn't be able to do anything.
He caressed your face once more and turned, walking to the large window of the great room.
You felt bad leaving him alone, you didn't want to leave him like that, but you were in the last semesters of your degree. Yes, you were on vacation, but you had to leave some paperwork behind.
— I won't take a second.
Apollo let out a short laugh, full of knowledge. He knew it would take you at least a day and a half to get back to him. He turned to you and walked slowly.
—Just come back to me, dear.
Your eyes shone, and you walked the distance he needed to close the distance between you. You took his hands and kissed his knuckles.
— Always.
He turned his hands so that he was the one holding yours now and made a wedding ring appear on your ring finger. When you looked at the diamond, you raised your eyebrow and your look became amused.
—Do you mark your territory?
Apollo smiled and kissed your forehead.
— In case some fool hasn't heard the great news that I am your husband.
The fool was Leo, yes. Apollo said it for him, if not, for who else?
Your husband had done you a favor and made you appear right at the entrance to Camp Jupiter, advantages of a god making you his wife. When the campers guarding the doors saw you, they immediately opened it for you.
You excused yourself and made your way towards New Rome, in fact, you hesitated whether to go there first or go say hello or… If you would meet them anyway near the university.
You walked to the limit.
You loved New Rome, it was definitely home to you, at least when you had to stay on campus during the semester. But to live the rest of your life there would also have been pleasant, although Mount Olympus wasn't bad.
You made your way and some looked at you. So, you quickened your pace, you didn't like to attract a lot of attention like that.
You moved quickly towards the university and found the campus. Blessed be the gods.
You clutched the papers to your chest and walked.
— HEY!
You turned around slowly, not really wanting any questions. But you turned completely around when you saw Frank holding hands with Hazel, trying to reach you.
— GUYS!
They both caught up to you and smiled hungrily. They wanted to hug you, but they backed out at the last moment, which made you frown.
— What was that?
Frank started babbling and Hazel laughed nervously.
—Can we hug you?
You laughed and threw yourself at both of them, so you hugged at the same time. — You fools, I'm the same as always. Just how married and that's it.
Frank denied. — WITH APOLLO
Hazel punched him in the belly, making him double over. The three of you laughed, and then she looked at you nervously.
—Have you seen anyone else? —She asked. You denied.
— I figured Percy and Annabeth would be in New York for the holidays. Nico and Will, Camp Half-Blood, Jason finishing his accounting for the new altars. Piper, in Oklahoma… — You made loops with your hand and thought if you had forgotten someone.
Hazel looked at Frank, and he encouraged her to say whatever had them both acting that way.
Hazel sighed.
—Leo arrived in the morning.
Your expression did not change at all, a reaction that your friends had not expected.
— AND?
Frank scratched the back of his neck nervously. — He is actually searching for you.
Then your eyebrows raised, showing your confusion.
— what? — You snorted. You looked for any sign that it was a joke, but there was none. — So? Do I owe him money?
Hazel laughed nervously and shook her head.
— I think he's looking for you because he wants to fix things with you.
— He's desperate —  Frank agreed.
You laughed sarcastically.
—But he knows that I'm already married, right?
— Apparently… no one told him.
— What? — You asked again, raising your voice a little more. Both exchanged nervous glances. You mean, how far is Indianapolis? — Wait, he was with Calypso, he literally cheated on me with her because he said she was the love of his life.
The two of them raised their shoulders and you scoffed.
—Anyway, I'll leave these documents and go off to enjoy what's left of the vacation. Apollo waits for me. Will you accompany me?
Damn, the three of you were about to enter when you heard someone call your name, then Hazel's and finally Frank's, he was definitely the one who turned around, consequently forcing you and Hazel to do the same.
What your eyes saw were priceless. It was Leo running across campus with half his shirt burned and a desperate expression. Your heart raced, and your feet wanted to run away, instead, you stayed still and speechless.
—You are seeing the same thing, right?
Your friends nodded.
—He wasn't like this when we last saw him— Hazel said, forcing a smile and shaking her hand at Leo.
Leo had stopped at Camp Jupiter for supplies, also to check that you weren't there, and you definitely weren't there when he arrived, but rumors spread fast. You wondered if your ex-boyfriend had heard about why everyone was whispering about your arrival, but it seemed like not, or at least he seemed to ignore it.
And so it was.
Fate, the planets, and the stars aligned to ensure that Leo was ignorant about it, so that you would be the one to deal the final blow.
Things with Calypso didn't work out, why? Leo couldn't get you off his mind. Oh, what had he done? He literally cried like a baby when he realized he still loved you. He loved you, you loved him, so as always, he had to screw up.
Leo ran harder; He was taller, a little stockier, and his curls were fluffier than ever. Everything you used to worship was probably just a shadow of its former self. You weren't saying that he was bad, but you definitely no longer felt anything for him, although you couldn't help but feel a tug in your tummy full of melancholy, pain, and anger.
You had already forgiven him, but his recklessness made you want to kill him.
With little breath, Leo crouched down in front of you, grabbing his knees and looking for air.
You took a step back, your face dripping with confusion.
Hazel and Frank looked at him disapprovingly.
—I've been looking for you—he finally said.
— That's what I heard.
Leo stood up and wanted to hug you. To your surprise, you didn't stop him. You missed your friend Leo Valdez. Not your cheating ex-boyfriend, Leo Valdez.
Frank and Hazel screamed and became nervous.
—I've missed you.— He said, breathing softly, taking in pinches of your scent.
Your heart clenched and you forced yourself to smile.
—Me too, Leo.
That gave him courage. He broke the hug and gently took you by the arms.
— I was wrong… — His brown eyes projected remorse and sorrow. — I was seriously wrong, I shouldn't have…
The son of Hephaestus took a deep breath.
— I betrayed your trust. I put your love aside to think that my place was with someone else, but what a jerk… My place has always been with you. You are the one I love the most. Please forgive me …
Those words, as you would have liked to hear them so long ago, but now they were slipping over you, completely meaningless.
—Leo…
— Please! Give me another chance.
His plea resonated, drawing the attention of some residents. They took it as just a student love situation until they saw you. Oh shit, weren't you the wife of the great Apollo?
— Leo, you see… No. We can't have another chance.
Leo's heart beat so fast that he felt like it would jump out of his heart. He held you a little tighter and leaned down.
He was going to kiss you.
— No! — Hazel gasped and Frank hid behind her.
People around the campus seemed on the edge of their seats, they even plead the gods for Apollo didn't appear out of nowhere and incinerate them all. The god was definitely struggling to control his breathing from the palace. Where did his Yoga classes go? Someone meditate with him, please! He wanted to hang Leo.
You put a hand on Leo's lips, and he felt something cold. You slowly pushed him away with a frown on your face.
— I said no.
You turned your hand and revealed the glow of the diamond to his view. The Sun made it look ethereal because, well, it was.
Leo's soul fell at his feet, and he shook his head in confusion.
—I don't… I don't understand.
— I'm married, Leo. I married someone. Did you think I would be heartbroken since you
cheated on me with Calypso? That I will wait for you? — You snorted and pushed him gently.
— But with who?! Who the fuck-
You put your hand over his mouth again and shook your head.
—Don't do that.— You sighed brokenly and tried to do it delicately. If you named Apollo, everything could go to Tartarus. —He considers you for helping him during his mission as a mortal.
The gossipers laughed, some adults denied indignantly, and their friends, shit, Frank was almost having a heart attack fearing that Apollo would burn Leo to ashes.
—Apollo? —He said, with even greater confusion.
The god was still clinging to the edge of his throne, expectant.
You looked above and came to the conclusion that he was giving your ex-boyfriend a break. That action fell like a bucket of cold water on the son of Hephaestus.
He walked away from you.
— what?
You turned your gaze and caressed his cheek kindly. — I don't hold a grudge against you, Leo. I loved you so much. But I found someone who did not doubt his love for me and without thinking wanted to grow with me.
The boy shook his head and stumbled as he relented, leaving your hands suspended in the air. A gust of sweet air embraced them in that silent moment.
He let you go and thought he might have you back.
You were his friend, his confidant, and the love of his life, yet he let you go.
He disguised his doubts with bad jokes, dishonest touches, and lies.
How could he have been so stupid?
Haha, there goes the idiot that lost the love of his life to a god.
How could a love like the one you used to possess lose?
Look at me, then, Leo said to himself.
You returned with Apollo and your nerves were overwhelming you. This time you felt so distant to the palace, as if you were not worthy to enter. Still, they received you and welcomed you.
— is in his room.
You thanked and headed to the bedroom. Taking care not to be noisy and watch your steps.
Being at the foot of the entrance, the door opened and revealed your husband. Smiling?
Apollo opened the door and pulled you into the room. You couldn't help but laugh.
Your clothing magically changed upon entering, your modern clothes replaced by a white robe edged with gold. Your hair now adorned with laurels and golden jewels.
The jingle of jewelry amidst your loved one's laughter seemed like the most exquisite sound to you. He held you in his arms and hid her face in the crook of your neck.
You stroked his fluffy blonde curls.
— Welcome.
He said, bumping his forehead against yours.
—  Did you miss me?—  You said with humor. Apollo kissed your lips, instantly making you feel disoriented. He traced your cheek, your chin, and your neck. Kissed you behind your ear and hummed.
— I know I told you it would be fine if you went, but gods, how I missed you. Don't leave me the rest of your holidays.
You nodded.
That was your home.

For the bat x pjo thing, I’ve always loved the idea of Jason as a son of poseidon. I know that one’s probably overdone, but I love it a lot!
Just think about it—he’s got the looks, the sheer physical and probably even mystical power, the changeability…he’s just as intelligent as Percy believes he (Percy) isn’t, especially strategically. He was resurrected during heavy rain, which could be an explanation, like Poseidon’s upset his kid died so he’s sending rain to bring him back. He died in the desert, where there’s not a lot of water, and I know it’s a lazarus pit, but he regained his faculties in the water, and in both the comics and the movie, he’s extremely disoriented and falls/is pushed off a cliff into a body of water—but more than that, even if he preempts betrayal later on by leaving first, he is EXTREMELY loyal and will do anything for his friends.
I don’t know if you’ve already heard it, but you should really listen to Ruthlessness from Epic the Musical, with Jason confronting Bruce with the Joker in mind. It’s perfect for that, and that’s actually how I got the idea before I read anything on AO3 with Jason as a son of poseidon.
And I love the idea of Roy as a son of Athena too, you know, extremely clever, invents things but also fights very well, and, even if he’s not great at lying as a leader, is a very good leader anyway. (Kori and Bizarro have their own things, but Artemis, even though she is from Bana-Mighdall, is still descended from the greek amazons, and could be a legacy of a child of Athena, Ares, or Apollo).
And yeah, okay, I feel like Damian kinda has to be a legacy or something, BUT what if he were more like Carter Kane in The Red Pyramid? A vessel for Horus, or something, but a powerful warrior-magician nonetheless.
For Dick, I really liked in your other one him as a child of Hermes, but I feel like a son of Astrape, goddess of lightning, would work better. Astrape for sheer, you know, flashy power that still puts you on your ass, and arcs through the sky even if it can’t fly on its own necessarily (although that’s just a lot more representative, of course his abilities would be the result of hard work, as usual). And the fact that Astrape and Bronte are in Zeus’ entourage, and his shield/weapons bearers just fits Batman and Robin’s first thing and then Nightwing and Batman’s whole thing after very well, I think.
As for Tim? I honestly think he should just be a clear sighted mortal. He’s never seemed that much like any one child of anything to me.
Stephanie as the daughter of Dionysus is just inspired, and I can’t believe I never thought of it!
And Alfred I feel like would be, even if not the son of anyone, or a legacy, a sort of disciple of Hestia or something.
Babs I just love as a daughter of Athena, but also, she’s kind of taken the role of Oracle for herself, and I was thinking, you know, she should be a clear sighted mortal who became the oracle of Delphi, like Rachel.
And Cass I love as the daughter of Nike, but I feel like a daughter of Hades just fits her so well! Disappears into shadows, often called quite creepy and yet has no patience for what she sees as trivial when she could be attacking something with her fists instead (and has something against contributing to the overpopulation of her father’s realm 😆).
And Duke I liked in the other one too, able to see something vaguely…Other about his foster family, and the gods already seeming much too bright, but just with his meta ability.
Heh, I know I focussed a lot on Jason and the Outlaws, but they are very much my blorbos 😅.
💜
god i do really love Poseidon kid Jason (especially if we give Jason more of the earthshaker powers). he's definitely very similar to Percy in a lot of ways like you mentioned. HOWEVER while you bring up a LOOOT of good points for Poseidon kid Jason i think i want to stray away from having any of the batkids being kids of the big three? i feel like it might to into like,, mary sue territory (even though they're not really OCs but I'm lowkey kinda strict with my PJO aus and want to stick as close to canon as possible - meaning the big three only broke their oaths to not have kids with Percy, Jason and Thalia.) maybe ill do another au or something with Poseidon kid Jason because i really do love it lol
Athena kid Roy is interesting! unfortunately i don't know much abt Roy himself to really refute it or anything
as for Damian i definitely was playing with him being a magician, and maybe a legacy on Talias side? I'm not too sure on that part.
Astrape kid dick is also interesting! i haven't really looked at any of the more minor gods/goddesses for any of them but i can def see it! it's taking some of the traits of Zeus and toning them down a bit without really taking away the power. i still think I'm kinda attached to Hermes kid dick, but if we really want to give him flight we can give him the shoes similar to the ones Luke gave Percy in tlt
honestly mortal Tim does make sense and can also play into his insecurities on not being enough to fit dick or Jason's shoes as robin, since he's not a demigod he's just a regular kid. (however i think i am attached to Aphrodite kid Tim now lol but i do think mortal Tim could be good)
i think i may need a bit more swaying on Dionysus kid Stephanie but i do think its cool - it's definitely something i haven't seen before.
and yes i think Babs should just be a clearsighted mortal no matter how much i like Athena kid Babs. i did really want to play into the oracle name itself and her being the oracle of Delphi is good (however i don't really think her being the oracle itself - like Rachel- would fit in the au? unless they were all at camp i don't really know. i don't think the batfamily themselves need an oracle ? maybe she could be blessed (or cursed) by apollo )
i do like hades kid Cass but like i said with dick i kinda don't want any of them to be kids of the big three. but i think it fits her character - especially with her being a bit creepy as black bat/batgirl. but it might be interesting in terms of her childhood - if David was aware of her parentage he might have had higher hopes for this killing machine he wanted. this child of hades who is a master at reading body language and could kill with the touch of a hand? it could also tie into her adverseness of death itself - because she couldn't handle the feeling of death because of two contributing factors - her understanding of death through her hades powers (like Nico) and her understanding of body language. (hmmm maybe i might make an exception of my refusal of big three kids for hades Cass)
and yes!! i love the ideas of just meta Duke with no godly influence. it might be interesting for him to not be clearsighted - but that could bring in more ideas for how his powers affect his life. do you think he could see the outline or the shadow of a monster? or that his new foster family's eyes tend to glow slightly too bright and there seems to be something golden in their veins? maybe one of them could have some control of the mist like hazel does and would lift the mist later on for duke.
very good takes!! you're definitely making me think about these tho lol

Hongjoong feels sick.
“I think you’re fine.” Yunho frowns, pressing his palm against Hongjooong’s forehead one last time just to make sure. The healer did everything he could, even resorting to human hospital’s protocol check-ups when his hyung refused the usual nectar and ambrosia because he insists that, “something’s really wrong with me, Yunho, and I don’t think those can fix it.”
The healer can only groan inwardly at his friend’s stubbornness because there’s nothing a little nectar, ambrosia, and his glowing fingertips can’t fix. But of course, he continues to entertain him as he’s not in the mood to test the patience of a son of Hades today.
“What are your symptoms again?” Yunho asks flatly, inflating the cuff wrapped around Hongjoong’s upper arm to gauge his blood pressure again (in truth, he doesn’t know how to read a blood pressure monitor but does it anyway for Hongjoong’s sake) to appease his “patient” who is currently sitting on a cot because he feels “sick.”
“I had this really weird feeling in my stomach, like, it feels like my organs are squashed around and everything inside me turned upside down,” Yunho frowns. Okay, that sounds pretty serious. “And my face got all hot, my feet couldn’t stop twitching, and I stuttered too!” Hongjoong continues, bringing a hand to his head in worry. “This doesn’t feel like me at all.”
“Hyung, was there anything that made you feel anxious?” eyebrows furrowed in concern, Yunho regards Hongjoong carefully. “If there’s anything troubling your mind lately, I’m here to listen.”
“No, I don’t think it’s anything like that—”
An unfamiliar figure suddenly pops inside the curtain circling the cot, momentarily surprising Yunho and leaving Hongjoong stunned once he recognizes the person in front of him.
“Sorry, hi,” you grimace, feeling apologetic towards the tall boy you scared with your uninvited presence. You just got here, alone and wary, with a few scratches here and there from being chased by monsters, so you hope the cute boy with soft looking hair in front of you is the person you’re looking for and that your day won’t be even more ruined by an embarrassing moment of you mistaking him for another person. “I was told to find a Yunho here? They said he could give me something to help with my injuries.”
Forgetting entirely about his hyung’s complaints, Yunho rapidly deflates the cuff still circling Hongjoong’s arm and rips it off in a rushed manner, earning a loud yelp from the poor raven haired boy still sitting on the cot (he did not end up checking the numbers on the monitor).
Hongjoong feels his heartbeat quicken when your gaze lands on him once you stand on your tippy toes to look over Yunho’s shoulder in curiosity. A smile threatens to creep up on his own face when he notices your eyes brighten and a sweet smile curling up your lips. “Oh, Hongjoong! Hi!”
“_____. Good to see you again.”
Yunho flicks his eyes back and forth between you and Hongjoong, mischievously grinning at the interaction you’re both having because it takes awhile for Hongjoong to warm up to people and it seems like you’re new, so to think that Hongjoong has warmed up to you that quick, you must be quite the character. Or maybe, the emotionally stunted son of Hades has finally taken an interest in someone.
Yunho leans towards the latter. And he can’t wait to tell the others about this so they can all tease him about it.
“Oh,” you take note of him sitting on a cot and remind yourself that you’re in the infirmary, causing your eyes to rake over Hongjoong in worry. “Are you okay? You’re hurt?”
“No! I’m perfectly fine!” The raven haired boy who was previously complaining about his “weakened knees” suddenly sprang up from the bed, seemingly energized, and pushes a gawking Yunho over your direction with a tight grip on the back of his shoulders. “You should let Yunho check up on you then get some rest. Hope you feel better soon.”
You smile in thanks at the boy you met a few hours prior, the first person who greeted you when you stepped foot on camp, and bid him a goodbye as he turns to leave the infirmary to let Yunho tend to you alone.
Before he could, however, you nonchalantly tell him, “I like those glasses on you. Looks cute.”
A pause, and then, there it is.
Hongjoong’s cheeks slowly flame a bright pink, the soles of his sneakers nervously squeaking against the hardwood floors as he turns his head to face you with his eyes flicking to every corner of the room and anywhere that does not land on your figure. An intangible noise escapes his throat. “T-thanks.”
Oh. Yunho slaps a hand over his mouth as he tries his damn best to stifle in the laughter to save face of Hongjoong’s dignity.
Hongjoong’s not sick.
For the first time ever, Hongjoong is flustered.
  ‍  ‍  ‍  ‍  ‍  ‍  ‍  ‍  ‍  ‍  ‍  ‍  ‍  ‍  ‍  ‍  ‍  ‍  ‍  ‍  ‍  ✺◟( • ω • )◞✺
“That’s _____? Hongjoong’s _____?”
Hongjoong smacks the back of the two-tone haired boy’s head as he hisses, “If you don’t lower your fucking voice.”
Wooyoung’s yowl of pain is followed with a death glare shot at his hyung, the slightly tipsy boy hugging his ‘I LOVE DIONYSUS’ mug close to his chest to avoid any unnecessary spillage of perfectly good wine. “What was that for?” he cries. “They won’t even be able to hear me,” he grumbles, pointing to the group of Iris kids noisily huddled together in celebration of winning a game of Capture the Flag against the Athena kids. An impressive rarity. Athena kids are known to be very strategic with their battle plans, even in mere simulations like the game they play every Friday, which is why the Iris kids are especially happy.
Yunho tsks at the slurring of his friend’s speech, forcefully wrangling the mug of wine away from the alcohol fiend. Or at least, he attempts to, for the son of Dionysus quickly snatches the mug to avoid his prying fingers, an expression of mocking retaliation sent his way.
“She’s so cool,” Mingi dreamily sighs, having hearts as eyes as he continues to look at you in awe. You’re in the center of the Iris kids circle, a wide smile plastered on your lips as everyone else rejoices on your team’s victory. You meet eyes with both Hongjoong and Yunho (who is still busy trying to keep his feral friend at bay), sending an excited wave their way in greeting which earns back a proud thumbs up from Yunho and a genuinely heartwarming smile from Hongjoong.
“You have to introduce me to her!” Mingi gasps eagerly, hopping around Hongjoong while flailing his arms in glee, unknowingly landing hits on the silently seething raven haired boy who pointedly glares at him in return.
“You can do it yourself.”
“Someone’s doing it right now,” Jongho points out, the rest of the boys turning their heads to see their own Seonghwa hyung, the head counselor of the Athena cabin, make his way towards you and shake your hand with a gentle smile. It seems that he’s congratulating you for your win and Jongho chortles at the obvious twinkle in the eldest’ eyes. He’s trying to make a move on you.
And he can see why Seonghwa, alongside Hongjoong and Yunho, has taken an interest in you.
Because although your fellow siblings are urgently trying to sweep you into the dining pavilion for a celebratory dinner, you still take the time to meet the three new faces that are close friends with Hongjoong. Amidst the conversation between the rest of the boys and you, Jongho gets why it’s so easy for Hongjoong and Yunho to be close to you in the span of a week. Your contradictingly soft but bubbly personality seems to shine out of you, easily melting the coldest hearts (cough, Hongjoong hyung, cough), and the way you always seem to have an easy smile on your face softens just about anyone.
It’s easy to like you.
“Who are they?” you question your siblings once you’ve sat in the Iris table in the dining pavilion, distractedly biting onto your chopsticks as you try to be discreet in sneaking a look at the two lone boys sitting separately in the Zeus table and the Poseidon table. Both tables that, apparently, have been unoccupied for years.
A new kid of the big three; Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades, always garner attention because they’re so rare in quantity. Especially now that there’s two of them, one of your siblings, Yuna, excitedly jumps to inform you. “We don’t know their names yet but I heard they came in while we were just starting the game. Probably why we didn’t hear anything about them until now,” she shrugs, shoving another piece of gimbap into her mouth. “But the other campers said they got claimed immediately after coming here! That’s usually unheard of from the big three.”
Your brother, Keeho, who took the displeasing choice of sitting beside Yuna grimaces in disgust as he force shut her open chewing mouth. “Don’t talk while you’re chewing.”
You take another look at the two boys sitting silently with their heads slightly lowered, taking note of the unhealed scratches and bruises blooming all over their skin. You gasp, turning back to Keeho to ask, “What happened to them?”
“Heard they were hunted by a minotaur which is why they’re both forced to come here. All of the Apollo kids were stationed at our game earlier in case anything happens, probably why they haven’t had the chance to be healed.”
You shovel the rest of your food down your throat, almost choking in the process which earned a few panicked concerns from your siblings, but you ignore them and quickly move to the closest table, the Zeus table, after chugging down water from your goblet.
“Hi! I’m ______. It’s nice to meet you.”
The blonde looks up in surprise to see you and you use the short pause to take a good look at his face. Soft slanted eyes that oddly remind you of a cat’s greet you alongside a shy smile that spreads across his face and pops out both of his dimples.
Oh, you think. You didn’t expect him to be so handsome. You’re screwed.
“_____,” he repeats your name, pleasantly basking in the friendly smile you give him. You slightly waver at the way he says your name so sweetly. “I’m San. It’s nice to meet you too.”
“How are you liking it here?” you ask, trying to start a conversation in hopes of easing his first-day jitters. “I’m also still pretty new here. Just got here last week, actually.”
You can see the tension seep out his shoulders after hearing that you’re one of the newer campers as he gladly sighs in relief. “I’m pretty nervous, I don’t really know what’s going on,” he lets out an emotionless chuckle. “I just found out that my dad isn’t my actual dad and that Zeus? The dude up in the sky? Is apparently my real dad.”
“Yeah,” you grimace, you still haven’t fully grasped that either. “It took awhile for me to get kinda used to things here but I also somehow feel that I belong here,” you look at him, hoping your effort of comforting him is working. “I think you’ll fit in here soon enough. It’s okay to take things slow.”
This time, San genuinely smiles. “Thanks _____.”
“By the way,” he adds in a whisper, tugging your wrist to bring you closer to him, inadvertently causing your cheeks to warm. “I don’t know much about my… dad or Greek Mythology in that matter, but isn’t he like a major dickhead—”
A thunderous clap of lightning pierces through the suddenly darkened sky, striking a tree that stood closest to the dining pavilion, erupting it in booming flames. Surprised screams break out throughout the dining campers, everyone quickly turning their heads to look at San; the most probable culprit of angering the God of the Sky that one of their trees is now on fire.
“Oh, oops,” the guilty boy winces. “Sorry.”
“San, was that you?” a voice came from behind you, requiring you to turn around to see who it is and oh– it’s the boy who was sitting at the Poseidon table; the other new camper. The raven haired boy looks at you, taking in the horrified look on your face as you resume watching the tree burn after attempting to nod at him in greeting. “Man, what’d you do this time?”
“I didn’t do anything,” the blonde boy Yeosang unfortunately calls his best friend, whines. “It’s just… maybe I said some words I shouldn’t have or whatever. Anyways, can’t you fix that? Shouldn’t you have, like, water powers or something?”
“We literally just got here, idiot,” Yeosang rolls his eyes, though he thinks it’d be pretty cool if he does end up having powers. He turns to your direction, taking the chance to talk to you now that he sees you’ve snapped out of your daze. “I’m sorry about him, he must’ve given you a hard time.”
San lets out an offended “hey!”
“No he didn’t,” you giggle. “It’s just,” you point at the still burning tree and a few campers circling it with buckets of water in hopes of putting out the fire. “It’s not everyday that you see stuff like this.”
Yeosang turns around, whistling lowly once he actually takes in the damage his best friend (his best friend’s dad, actually) has done. “Yeah, that looks pretty bad,” he says.
“Eh,” you shrug. “The Demeter kids are probably upset about it but it’s nothing they can’t fix.”
Your eyes widen, you totally forgot why you wanted to approach them in the first place. “Speaking of fixing,” you usher San out of his table and exchange proper introductions with the raven haired boy named Yeosang before dragging them by the wrists to the Apollo table. “You should really get those wounds healed. The Apollo kids here are the healers, they’ll know what to do.”
A tall boy, who Yeosang presumes to be Yunho based on your calls of his name, smoothly steps out of the table with his siblings and introduces himself to both of them. You told the healer about what you heard, that they were both hunted on the way here; hence the bruises from struggles of their escape. His eyes take in the exhausted figures of the two boys and he tells them that they should follow him to the infirmary to heal and rest up.
“Hey! Wait up!”
A boy with two-toned hair surprisingly holding a can of Diet Coke instead of his regular mug, skips to the group of four, tagging along the remaining of the boys behind him. Already exchanging greetings and introductions, the two new boys are slightly surprised at how friendly they all are but they absolutely do not mind at all, despite how they feel like their bones would crumble in exhaustion at any moment.
As the nine of them move together towards the infirmary, Wooyoung keeps bugging Yeosang with stupid questions that makes San laugh. (“Can you turn water into wine?” “If I could, wouldn’t that be blasphemy? And shouldn’t you be the one who turns things to wine?”). He’s never met anyone like them and they’re a bit odd but he thinks that he likes that.
He looks at you walking side by side with Yunho, an imposing Mingi trying to squeeze in the very small space left between you and the healer who is now glaring at his tall friend. Jongho watches from the sides, enjoying the suffering his hyung is going through and letting out amused snickers now and then. Seonghwa and Hongjoong look like they’re fighting over something, arms messily flailing against one anothers’, with Seonghwa letting out occasional squeals. San can’t tell if they’re play fighting or serious.
The blonde smiles, shoving his hands down his pockets. Staying at camp doesn’t sound all too bad now.
“I think you’ll fit in here soon enough.”
He thinks so too.

Percabeth Break Up - Hello, Perachel!
Part. 2
Percy was walking through Camp Half Blood happy. It was a sunny day. Then, Aphrodite appears to him. But, he didn't know the other demigods couldn't see her.
Aphrodite: Hey, Percy!
Percy: Hi, Aphrodite! What brings you here?
Aphrodite: Oh! I only wanted to see how you were.
Percy: I'm fine, Thanks!
Aphrodite notices Percy holding a box of chocolates and a bouquet of roses. She smiles, already imagining for who they could be.
Aphrodite: Are the chocolates and flowers for a special person?
Percy gets a little embarassed and shy.
Percy: Maybe...
Aphrodite: A girl?
Aphrodite gives a devious smile to Percy, who only gets more nervous.
Percy: Yeah...
Aphrodite: Good! Nothing better to celebrate the valentines' day than with a beautiful girl, right?
Percy: Yeah...
Percy puts his hand behind his hair, totally shy.
Aphrodite: So, who is it?
Percy looks away.
Percy: You don't know her...
Aphrodite gets confused and shocked.
Aphrodite: What?
Percy: Her name is Rachel.
Aphrodite makes a disgusted face.
Aphrodite: The oracle?!
Percy: Yeah...(😅)
Aphrodite: But...what about Annabeth?
Percy: We broke up.
Aphrodite: You what?!...but...you can't!
Percy: Why not? (😕)
Aphrodite: Because you and Annabeth belong together!
Percy: We used to. Now, i like Rachel. After talking with Hera, i noticed how special Rachel was and i didn't value her enough.
Aphrodite: You broke up with Annabeth because of a conversation?!
Percy: It wasn't because of the conversation, but what Hera reminded me of. I'm tired of being used and ridicularized by other people. If i want to have my dream life, i can. I don't want to be a hero.
Aphrodite: But the girl is an oracle!
Percy: And? Look Aphrodite, I don't care if Rachel is an oracle. I would still love her even if she was a monster with three heads. So, if you excuse me, i'm late for my date.
Percy walks away from Aphrodite and she yells at him.
Aphrodite: She can't give you child! She'll only ruin your life! You were meant to be a hero!
Percy continues walking and doesn't answer or turn around to look at Aphrodite.
Aphrodite: You don't know what you are doing, Percy. But, i'll help you. Soon, you'll come back to the arms of the one you really love.
Aphrodite uses her arm to hit Percy with a love spell, but her hand is caught by another one. Aphrodite turns to the side and gets shocked when she sees Zeus holding her hand.
Zeus: That's enough, Aphrodite!
Aphrodite: What are you doing here? The demigods...
Zeus: They can't see us!
Hera appears next to Zeus.
Hera: After talking to Percy, i figured everything out.
Aphrodite: What do you mean?
Hera: It was you who messed with Percy's memories and made him only remember Annabeth.
Aphrodite: I don't know what you mean.
Zeus: Stop lying, Aphrodite! You wanted to keep that boring demigods together. So, you better not test my patience!
Aphrodite winces a little bit and Ares appears.
Ares: Let her go, father. You're hurting her.
Zeus doesn't let her go. Hera puts her hand on Zeus's arm.
Hera: Zeus.
Zeus lets go of Aphrodite's hand. He gets close to her and whispers angry.
Zeus: If i ever see you messing with these demigods again, the consequences won't be good. Do you understand me?
Aphrodite only nods her head scared and the four gods disappear.
...................................
Rachel and Percy are having fun on their picnic in the forest, laughing and playing with each other. Rachel runs from Percy and he hugs her from behind making them fall on the ground, with Rachel over him. Both smile at each other and kiss.
Not so far from there, under some trees, there were a woman and a man watching the scene of the couple in front of them. The man has an amused expression while he has his arms crossed.
Ares: Who knew the boy that i fought so many times finally grew up?
Hera: Yeah...who knew? Unfortunately, he wanted to make us his enemies.
Ares: He stil has too much to learn. That guy trusts everyone else very easy. He is still too naive to believe that "the good guys" are his friends while us, "the bad guys", are his enemies.
Hera: I agree. But, we can't change anything. It's his choice. I just hope that one day he finally recognizes his true enemies.
Ares only nods his head and gives a sadistic smile at Percy's direction
Ares: Well...until there, i'm still gonna have my fun with that boy!
Ares gives a devious smile at Percy's direction and disappears.
Hera: I told you Percy that what you needed was right in front of you. I wish you all the happiness in the world with your new wife and kids...ops. I guess i said too much about the future.
Hera whispers to herself while she gives a sweet smile at the couple's direction and disappears too.

ares “i trust, from time to time, you stop to ask yourself how come you choose to fight” “the hunt is but a prelude to a war, is that not so? “you interrupt me once again, you know i do not care for that, i warn you to stay out of my affairs” “a successfully conducted war is certainly a cause for celebration, is it not?” “i trust the violence i have wrought on your behalf has been quite satisfactory?”
dionysus “hey, cheers for picking up the tab, there, now, i cannot exactly pay you back, though i could give you this!” “did i do something to deserve this, man, because i thought that we were getting on just fine, better than fine, but this?” “really, man? after everything we've been through together, this is the gratitude i get?” “know what, man, i'm not even angry after that, what was i even going off about, do you recall...?” “let's say we're settled up now, and go on being best mates just like before, yeah?”
hermes “whoa you're a hot mess, there, what happened getting here?” “you ever get the feeling life's been moving all too quickly for you? “out of all special delivery recipients i've had over the ages, here, i've got to say, you're the most interesting one!” “a little awkward, having to pretend we just met” “you're rather slow, if only somebody could help you out with that”

im too like fuzzy from cough syrup to answer YOUR question-- Hephaestus is associated with copper specifically from my understanding, but I know a lot of modern helpol folks associate him with stuff like computers, the internet, metal in general. Hephaestus needs some love, whats some other things you associate him with, either upg or historically (I kinda like thinking of him as the god of disability aids like wheelchairs and prosthetics)
OH BOY I LOVE THIS QUESTION!!!!! i love hephaestus and i am so glad to spread some love for him. thank you for this fantastic question <333 historically speaking: -cranes! paper cranes are really fun and easy to make and would be an awesome votive for him. -donkeys! i think about this one a lot and his myth with dionysus where he'd been cast out of olympos and dionysus was the one who came after him and was able to convince him to return, and he rode back on a donkey: "One of the Greek legends is that Hephaistos, when he was born, was thrown down by Hera. In revenge he sent as a gift a golden chair with invisible fetters. When Hera sat down she was held fast, and Hephaistos refused to listen to any other of the gods save Dionysos--in him he reposed the fullest trust--and after making him drunk Dionysos brought him to heaven." [theoi.com, Pausanias 1.20.3] i mean just look at him on his steed. i love it. [also sourced from theoi.com]

-this is a weird one but chains. he's got a lot to do with chains, from the aforementioned binding of hera to the net of chains to capture ares and aphrodite in their affair to the binding of prometheus. i havent quite developed my thoughts on this yet, but i think it's very interesting. -hammers. he's often seen depicted with his hammer, and of course he helped zeus give birth to athena by using his hammer to split his head open. having experience in metalworking really made me appreciate this more, because there are SO many different kinds of hammers and using the wrong one can completely change the outcome of your work. also, its hard work! makes me think more about just how strong lord hephaestus is to make such grand works. -i think about him a lot with jewelry making, since he's got quite a few historically attested pieces of jewelry that he's made. upg: -i also associate him with mobility aids of all kinds. i also think about him and apollo working together to make medical technology, which means a lot to me as someone who's had health struggles. -i also associate him with computers too. i pray to him when my technology doesnt work LMAO -tobacco. i liked to smoke a cigarette with him before id go into the metal shop (dont smoke please its terrible for you) -the smell of metal. weird one but id go into the metal shop and take a sniff and be like :') ahhhhh hephaestus. i worked a lot in copper and bronze bc theyre soft and cheap metals, and the smell of copper on your hands after spending hours on the jewelers saw... like nothing else in this world. -soldering. when i learned to solder i would pray to him to help me do it well and get a good solder. it is harder than you think, especially when working in silver which can and WILL melt if you're not careful enough. it really made me appreciate how diligent and patient he must be. on a similar note, annealing metal also made me think of him. annealing is the process of heating and quenching metal to strength it once it gets too soft and you are quite literally just blasting it with a torch until it’s red hot. takes so much patience and carefulness. -open flame cooking. he's associated with fires after all and just. tossing something on the grill or over a campfire always makes me think of him. i also think of zeus when i grill things but i dont have a reason for that other than grilling is dad behavior and he is the ultimate dad. -LEGOS. any time i play with legos i am thinking about him. its the building aspect and the creativity. -really i think about him, athena, and apollo a lot when i'm creating, especially 3d works for hephaestus. i'm pursuing a bfa so i make a lot of things, and i think a lot about his skill and dedication to the craft when i make them.
thank you so so much for this ask!!! i loved answering this and would love to hear others thoughts on this <3 gods bless you with health and happiness!!!

Zen (Obey Me/Fem!Buddha!Reader)
So, this fanfic is a rewriting of mine and I'm migrating it from wattpad because mf is LAGGING SO MUCH.
(This is the prologue btw)
There's explicit nudity but not in a sexual way.
Also, it may contain blasphemy/sacrilege, racism(?), hypocrisy, typical homosexuality(if you know greek mythology then y'know what I'm talking about), periodical misogyny mentioned, probably OOC. (Use of Y/n, if you don't like it, I'm sorry, I won't change it.)
Takes place before the Record of Ragnarok Events.
2,566 words.
Tumblr media
"Early 200 before Christ."
IN A BUDDHIST TEMPLE, the goddess rested nearby the entrance, eating a bunch of apples as the soft breeze made her tied up hair fly like soft waves hitting the shores, the early years when she became a goddess. The ambient was calm, silent, just the way she liked.
She likes admiring the landscapes, it gives good memories of her royal times.
The times where she was only a human.
The comfortable silence soon was interrupted by stomps on the grass towards the temple, Y/n looked up and saw Shiva, her pantheon mate.
─ Zeus has been complaining a lot about you not showing up for the meetings.
─ That old hag is always throwing meetings about small things. ─She took another bite of the apple.
─ And the meetings it's always about the humans, since you used to be one, shouldn't you been at least concerned with your race? ─Shiva talked back.
─ Of course I'm concerned about them, but I believe that they can resolve their problems without the gods interference, they just need someone else to guide them, just like I used to.
─ Nonsense! If we don't intervene they end up killing each other, humans are savages.
─ And may I remind you who created them? ─She didn't mind the glare that the god of destruction sent at her, just kept eating.
─ Don't act all confident, Buddha! The first humans went for their own demise, your races only have yourself to blame. ─He scolded and Y/n only rolled her eyes.
─ If the gods created that forbidden fruit, YOU only have yourselves to blame. ─Shiva grunted in anger, when his wives came to intervene before the two deities could get physical.
─ Shiva, forget it, she is probably feeling bitter because of what the others been saying about the humans. ─Kali said while Durga and Parvati hold onto his arms.
─ Oh yeah, my manners...No matter how many centuries passes, you'll always have a human soul, never fully a God. ─She got up from her seat, dusting off her monk robes with the now empty bowl and walked in to the temple, she felt her patience reaching the brim, she needed to meditate.
─ Tch! You rude brat, I don't even know how the universe allowed you to become a goddess.
Y/n stopped midway her track and gave Shiva her middle finger before disappearing from his sight. The purple skinned god growled in anger and walked away with his wives.
Once on her altar, she lit up an incense and took a deep breath, of course the other gods didn't take her serious, she barely completed 2 centuries as a deity, she was practically a baby compared the other gods and goddesses.
Not that she minded the fact that they don't consider her a goddess, she would rather suffer the worst of the karma than being considered like them.
"If only his wives didn't show up..." Y/n thought as she sat on the floor and crossed her legs in a lotus position, taking a deep breath and starting reciting her mantra, "just calm down..."

❛️️️️❛ y/n's pov ;;❜❜
"Some years later."
I pass by the corridors of the Valhalla, eating some breads, the gods were having an emergency meeting, but I didn't exactly bother to show up.
At this point Zeus has given up from scolding me to take my own responsibilities as a deity and decided to leave me alone, at least he has done one thing right.
While I wandered around to learn more of the surroundings I found a room where the valkyries were working to help the human souls that have deceased and came to Valhalla.
I looked at them with respect, they were guiding the humans, I've heard about their job and importance to this realm.
─ They truly have a hard job, right? ─I looked at the owner of the voice and saw a huge man with ginger hair and a muscular body.
I just nodded and returned my gaze at the women, my gaze focused on the dark blue-haired valkyrie.
─ Who are you again?
─ Oh I-, my name's Heracles, I am a demigod. ─I could tell from his body language that my question got him off guard.─ And you must be Buddha, you've been popular among the gods on these last centuries.
─ Ah Heracles...so you're one of the sons of Zeus. ─I smiled to myself and took a bite of my bread to finish it off.─ You're right, I'm Buddha or you can just call me Y/n.
─ Right, Y/n. So, are you enjoying your life as a Goddess so far? ─He asked, he seemed to be more empathetic than the other deities, maybe because he is a demigod.
─ To be fair, the others haven't been exactly showing hospitality towards me, especially your father. ─I answered him and started walking away.
─ I'm sorry to hear this, but I'm sure they will soften up to you...Eventually. ─I heard his steps behind me, great, he's sure that he will be able to get closer to me.
─ I appreciate your attempt of making me feel included, but I know that they won't, especially that grumpy fish of your uncle. ─He made a gasp noise and my smile widened.
─ Don't say such things too loud. If he heard you right now you would be so dead... ─Heracles whispered with worry on his face.
─ Would I though? ─I said in a amused tone.
─ Hah...You don't take things too seriously, do you? ─The ginger only smiled softly at my "lack" of common sense.
─ Not at all...You seem pretty okay for a god, Heracles. I mean, at least you are gentle when speaking to me. ─I praised and he rubbed the back of his neck.
─ Thanks Y/n, I'm just treating you the way you deserve it. ─I looked at him in surprise, honestly, it's been a really long time since someone has treated me as an equal.
─ Heh, aren't you a sweetheart, Heracles. ─I saw his cheeks heat up slightly, cute, I believe that there may be other good gods like him, rarely, but still.
─ Oh please, I'm barely doing the minimum. ─He said awkwardly.
─ Well considering how the others have been treating me so far, your minimum has already lifted my spirits. ─I patted his arm playfully.
─ I'm happy to hear that...you know, you don't need to stay around the other gods if you don't want to, you can stay with the nymphs as well, I assure you they will treat you better. ─His suggestion made my eyes lit up.
─ Nymphs? What are they? ─I asked with interest.
─ Follow me, I'll show you. ─He started walking to guide me to them and I just followed besides him.
┊ 𝗐𝗂𝗍𝗁 𝗈𝗎𝗋 𝗍𝗁𝗈𝗎𝗀𝗁𝗍𝗌, 𝗐𝖾 𝗆𝖺𝗄𝖾 𝗍𝗁𝖾 𝗐𝗈𝗋𝗅𝖽. ೄྀ࿐
I kept following him until we reached a lake, the water was crystal clear and was surrounded by sheer nature, a beautiful sight to the eyes, soon I realized there were women around and inside the lake, they soon noticed our arrival and went to greet us.
─ Heracles! It's been so long since you visited us, and who's this one you brought here? ─The nymph looked at me with curiosity.
─ I believe that she's that one "new" deity from the hindu pantheon, sister. ─The other nymph replied.
─ Oh my goodness, she's beautiful!
─ Are you a god or demigod?
─ Can I touch your hair?
─ You are so tall!
The nymphs began flooding me with questions and praises, I chuckled a bit to disguise my sudden surprise at their appearance. They were naked. Beautiful and naked.
─ Relax ladies, don't overwhelm her. ─Heracles laughed nonchalantly.
─ I'm not overwhelmed, just got a bit off guard...since...you know? ─I gestured at their lack of attires, since I wasn't used to see other women naked.
─ Oh sorry for not warning you first. ─He apologized and the nymphs paid no attention to my remark and kept surrounding me with curious gazes and questions.
─ It's fine...this is fine. ─I talked back and just let them touch my hair, sighing in defeat.
─ If it's fine then I will let you ladies have your moment. ─Heracles waved at them before walking away.
For all deities sake, how was he able to act so normally around them? Those women are naked! I mean, he wasn't wearing a modest robe like me, he was barely wearing proper clothes, the realization made my cheeks heat up slightly. I feel so self-conscious for them right now.
─ Tell us more about yourself, Buddha. ─She said as her sisters undid my braids.
─ And answer our questions, please. ─The other nymph mentioned and brushed her fingers against my hair.
─ I became a Goddess, but before I died, I used to be a human and I guided other humans when they most needed. ─I answered them and I heard gasps of surprise.
─ So the rumors were right! Do you still have your human soul? ─I nodded at her question.
─ But the other gods didn't seem so happy about it... ─One of the quietest nymphs replied, her voice barely audible.
─ I don't care of what they think about me. ─Their eyes widened at my confidence.─ After all, I recognize who I am now and who I used to be, and that's the only thing that matters.
A brunette nymph approached me with a lotus flower in hands, I smiled at her as she handed me the delicate flower, I placed it over my head.
─ I think Socrates and you would be good friends. ─She said and I raised a brow.
─ Socrates?
─ He's not a deity, but him along with Confucius are considered to be sages of great importance for humanity. ─The nymphs finished playing with my hair and giving it a new style.
─ Yeah! They got in here because they used to guide humans with their wisdom. ─This perked my interest, important humans that guided the ones who needed it...
─ Socrates and Confucius...I think I would like to meet them someday.
─ But not today, why don't you spend more time with us? Swim a little with me and my sisters, I bet you'll feel refreshed after a good bath. ─A blonde nymph suggested and I tensed up.
─ Oh no no, I don't want to bother-
─ Nonsense! Come on, just swim a little, just some minutes and you can go back to your place. ─I sighed at their persistence and decided to agree, starting to take off my robes so it doesn't get wet.
Now, I felt really self-conscious about my body, I know that they probably are used to it, but I'm not. I haven't even showed my body to my ex soon-to-be husband or any maiden in my old castle. Once I was completely naked, my first instincts was to cross my arms to cover my chest.
─ It's okay dear Buddha, you don't need to cover your body. ─She tried to soothe me.
─ She's right, you're beautiful, no need to feel ashamed. ─Her sister joined in, I slowly regained my usual confidence and loosen up, uncovering my breasts.
They stayed by my side until I gained courage to join them in the lake.
The water was cold, but not an unbearable cold, it felt refreshing.
I started to feel less tense around them, it was a great change at the repetitive routine as a Goddess. It felt so good to be accepted as the new me.
─ This feels...amazing. ─I whispered with a soft smile.
─ See, we told you that you would feel refreshed. ─The blonde nymph looked up at me with a satisfied grin.
─ Relax and enjoy the waters, darling. ─Their voices just soothed me further.
The lake wasn't that deep, considering that I'm the tallest here, the water splashed against my chest and elbows while the nymphs were full-body beneath it. I guess I could enjoy their company instead of the gods.

"Year 33 after Christ."
The nymphs suggestion haven't slipped even the slightest off her mind, after her almost daily bath along with the nymphs she rushed towards the valkyries to ask about Confucius and Socrates, but Valhalla is so big and it's so hard to tell where a soul is, so during the first week Y/n wasn't able to talk with them.
And when she finally got to meet them, she was more confident and unconcerned near the fellow humans while they were taken a back at finally meeting the goddess, they have heard about her but it was unbelievable that a human woman managed to reach such status. As the time went, they developed a friendship among them, Confucius and Socrates grew more found of the "young" goddess. They were now known as the 3 Sages.
Even if the other deities didn't approve their friendship, the trio couldn't care less, Y/n didn't need their approval or decision of who she needs to stay around, she is a free deity after all.
And this particular day, the trio was hanging out as usual, they were sitting under a tree and drinking tea.
─ Can you believe he had the guts to order me around!? ─Y/n spat with a loud amused chuckle.
─ Oh dear, I wish I could see his face when you defied him! ─Socrates laughed and sipped on his tea.
─ You are an icon, Y/n, these gods are so no funny. ─Confucius replied.
Approaching them, a valkyrie and a human soul walked towards them, with the demigoddess guiding him. The trio stopped their gossip and looked up at the two approaching, the man besides the valkyrie had a shoulder-length hair, a beard, a crown of thorns on his head and was wearing white robes.
─ Sages...I believe that there's another one that you may wish to meet. ─The valkyrie gestured to the man beside her.─ He has guided humans and showed importance to mankind...3 sages, I'd like to introduce you, Jesus.
He waved at them, a warm smile on his face, a friendly and welcoming aura surrounding him. The trio greeted him and the valkyrie bowed before walking away, leaving Jesus to get along with them.
─ I've heard a bit about your journey on Earth man, nice to meet you, I'm Y/n and those two are Confucius and Socrates. ─The two men waved at him.─ The others usually call me Buddha but you can call me Y/n.
─ Nice to meet you too, I hope we can get along. ─Jesus replied.

His eyes glitter like gold a bright blinding light of the sun's true heat that beats down on a day's work, the spirit of determination and the feeling that fuels someone to get up after a long battle or long hard work, he who sits in the deep roots of man (humanity). He has a very lion feel, someone who is deeply proud and brave. A deep lion symbolism can be found with him. He has a more human, animal, and “godly” form. Much like South, the godly form is a form that is very blinding and cannot be seen with the naked eye. He has a sun pendant as seen below.

Palace,Residence:
Savanna biome, with grasslands biome a bit, tall dry grass, clay huts and houses, sun symbolism, South’s sky palace in the West (makes since if he’s Southeast that the palace would be to the West, since to the East it would be East’s residence). He does have a palace, but it’s really only accessible to him and those he personally invites. So it feels like a very weird cultural blend, like he was worshipped in multiple different cultures. Which makes sense solar deities are highly popular, since the Sun is super important.

Chapter 3 ~ The Final Task
Tumblr media
Once more, Kratos liberated the ship of the undead minions, yet before him lay people - Slaughtered like animals, the victims lay before him... A reminder of his own past. A past, from which he could never escape. His only solace was the sea, endlessly sailing from one harbour, to the next, in service to the Gods of Olympus. All his hopes rested within. For ten years, he was their martyr, their puppet, but the nightmares plaguing the Spartan were growing far more painful with each day, and he was swiftly losing patience.
"Athena!" the warrior cried out into the sky, exiting his cabin in the ship, to speak to the statue of Athena. "For ten years -- I have faithfully served the Gods for ten years! When will you relieve me of these nightmares?" he asked accusatory, angry that no matter his hard work, his reward was never given to him.  "We request one final task of you, Kratos. Your greatest challenge awaits, in Athens, where even now, my brother, Ares, lays siege as we speak. Athens is on the verge of destruction - It is the will of Ares, my great city fall. Zeus has forbidden the Gods from waging war on each other - That is why it must be you, Kratos - Only a mortal trained by a God has a chance at defeating Ares." the statue of Athena spoke, laying down the task for her champion. "And if I am able to do this - To kill a God - Then, the visions... They will end?" his voice softened, having, for the first time in ages, a thread of hope dangling before his very eyes.  "Complete this final task, and the past that consumes you will be forgiven. Have faith, Kratos. The Gods do not forget those who come to their aid." thus, leaving the rotting carcass of the Hydra behind, Kratos set sail once more. His greatest challenge, and freedom from his growing madness, lay before him, in the ancient city of Athens, battling many a foe on his way.
In great haste, Kratos ran up the stairs, on the Way to Athens, and as he reached the top, he noticed a familiar silhouette of a woman with red hair, so long that it almost reached the ground, with various coloured flowers braided into it, and her dress was of the most expensive linen, embroidered with gold and dyed a deep green, just like the forest. Though it was not sheer like Aphrodite's, the lineout of her attractive silhouette could be seen. Still, as the champion stepped next to her, he couldn't help but wonder - What was the Goddess of Nature doing in a place like this? If Ares was the God of War, Katrina might as well be the Goddess of Peace and all things nice. The battlefield was no place for the kind.
"I see you have arrived faster than I expected, Kratos. I pray your journey was not a tiresome one." her voice was sweet like honey, Kratos always thought so, yet now, more than ever, her sadness was obvious. While some revelled in war, she could not stand even the idea of it. "It was fine. What are you doing here? I did not call for you." for some, such a statement would sound hostile and aggressive - But not for her. Instead, she turned to face him, and met him with a small smile. "Must I be summoned, to see you, Kratos? If that would be the case, I would only be seeing you during tragedies, and we both know I am not quite fond of them." though she tried to jest, she was met with a grunt and nothing more. "I... Knew would be here. Because of Athena. I wanted to be here, to ask you, first of all, what had she promised you... And secondly... To give you my aid throughout your journey to defeat this mad man... Though I may not be a warmonger, I still have mine own skills that may be of help." her eyes held kindness and genuine care for him, he noticed, and as soon as she reached out to cup his face, her soft and delicate hands reminded him of a foreign feeling that somehow, could battle how good he felt even with Lysandra. "Athena promised that, should I succeed in defeating Ares, I will have my past forgiven." thought his vision was set and voice harsh, he couldn't help but lean into her warm touch as he spoke. "And do you believe her?" this question, however, put him on alert.  "Athena said that Gods do not forget those who aided them during their times of need." he answered, yet he only saw her smile widen, but definitely not in a good way. "I ask again, Kratos - Do you believe her word?" his brows furrowed, as he gently put his hands over hers to remove them, and he stepped away, pondering over the question. Why would she ask something like this? Why would he question the validity of the words that the Goddess of Wisdom uttered? "I suppose it does not matter, whether you truly believe them, or you just have them as your last bit of hope. I must warn you, however, that Gods always have a way with words... Hence why I asked you such a question. She said your past will be forgiven, not that your visions will be erased. Bear that in mind... If it matters for you." Katrina pointed out, playfully stepping in the opposite direction, her golden sandals making soft noises in contact with the marble ground. "What are you implying?" realising what she meant, the Spartan immediately snapped his focus to her. "I am implying the same thing I have always warned you about - Never trust a God's word, for they are selfish and good for naught." she explained, stealing a look at him past her shoulder, only to hop again, and face him. "Even so, I shall be aiding you during your journey, though bare in mind - What you are trying to accomplish is no easy feat. You must seek the aid of the Oracle, should you wish to succeed." getting a better look at him, she couldn't help but smile. "I see that Poseidon has given you quite the handsome gift. Not to mention, the aid of my dear friend Aphrodite... Though ironic, considering Ares is her lover. They will aid you well." thus, the Goddess turned around and began to casually walk towards the east, where the Oracle's Temple lay. With lingering eyes, Kratos watched the red haired beauty disappear into the horizon, before getting one last good look at the gigantic Ares, who was destroying the city and massacring thousands of people, just because he could. A monster, he was. "God of War... I haven't forgotten you, for what you did that night. This city will be your grave." watching down for one last time the great army that was marching towards the city, the Spartan exited that place and went on his path, towards the Oracle. Though he lost sight of the Goddess, Kratos made his way towards the Town Square of the city, destroying everything that stood in his way, be that friend or foe, monster or human.  For unknown reasons, a woman started screaming at him, telling him to stay away, all that while running from him, as if he cared enough about her existence as to end it on a whim. He was not merciless, and he did not kill the innocent - That was something he learnt, whilst he was the General of his Army - Though he couldn't deny, he did know very well how intimidating he could appear. "I know who you are! I know what you've done, monster!" though he tried to stop her from running away or jumping to weird conclusions, she was deaf to his words. "Stay back! Get away from me!" as he made his way up the stairs, he sighted the woman edging on the balcony rail, looking distraught. "Stay way, don't come near me! Keep away---" what a mindless woman, falling to her death - A meaningless death. She had all chances to survive this siege. Fool. Looking down over the railing, he noticed the red head crouching besides the woman and shaking her head.  "Some people truly have the most ridiculous of deaths." he could hear her speaking, as she grabbed something from the corpse - It was a key, and using a liana to bring it up to the balcony. "It is the key used to unlock a trapdoor. I believe it will allow you access to the rooftops." she continued casually as he grabbed the key, and she began walking away, until she called out for him. "Before I forget - There are a lot of wraiths up there. They may prove to be a nuisance for you, so be very careful." and she disappeared, just as she appeared - Like a mysterious phantasm, yet even so, Kratos was grateful for the advice and little bits of aid she provided.
During his journey, he encountered a cowardly soldier who was desperately hanging on to the lever of a bridge that should have allowed him to pass - He was far too afraid of letting go, in fear of the monsters getting to him... Clearly, he was no Spartan. Spartans fight with no fear of death, even against awful enemies such as the cyclops and minotaur he faced. "Coward." Kratos spat as he turned around to look for another way of crossing the gap left by the retracted bridge. Through many temples and intricate mechanisms deducted, Kratos ended up before a vision of Zeus, who aided him by gifting him the ability of wielding lightning bolts. It was the perfect ranged weapon that would allow him to destroy that man who dared call himself soldier. A single charged bolt was enough to throw that man into the door, destroy it, and cremate him body altogether, allowing the bridge to stay back in place. Finally, no more irritation, nor detours, for the Spartan.
Now that he was finally above the Town Square, he could see the Oracle before him, only to be swept away by harpies - There must always be some problem that goes in the way of his goals, he grunted to himself, as he went on ahead. Once he reached the Temple's gardens, he saw a Grave Digger, all the way down into a hole that he was digging for... Someone. "Good, my boy, good. Athena has chosen wisely, I knew it was so." as Kratos asked the man of his identity, he was completely ignored. "So you have the blades, the skin as pale as the moon. You are the one indeed, perhaps Athens will survive at that - Hahahaha! But, be careful~! Don't want you dying before I'm done with this grave~!" "A grave?" Kratos asked, stepping towards the old lunatic man. "In the middle of a battle? Who will occupy it, old man?" though there was no sign of malice in his voice, the Spartan was truly curious by this madness.  "You will, my son. Ohh, I've got a lot of digging to do, indeed. All will be revealed in good time, and when all appears to be lost Kratos, I will be there to help. Don't disturb me now, son! I've got my work to do, and you have yours! And precious little time left to do either!" the old man cackled, making the warrior walk away, his mind swimming with questions that may never be answered.
Running all the way to the top of the Temple of the Oracle, killing harpies and legionnaires, Kratos found his way in a large garden filled with intricate machinery, and up there, the woman was being held up in the sky by two flying monsters that let go of her, hoping she would plunge down to the ground, to her demise.  But that was not her fate, for, as she promised, the Goddess of Kindness was there to aid Kratos in this task, and sitting on a beam, Katrina unleashed her vines to catch the Oracle, and summoning a spiraling slide, she landed safely, on the ground, followed by the red head who helped her stand.
"Katrina." Kratos acknowledged the Goddess's presence, as she simply offered a smile that knew much more than it let on. "Carry on with your prophecy, Kratos. Let us see if it shall be of any help" thus, the woman made way for the Oracle, who was able to catch her breath after such an exhilarating experience. "Kratos... As Athena herself has foretold... But you are late, perhaps too late to save Athens - Or is it Athens you have come to save?" the Oracle put his hands on his face, and instead of having his wish granted - His memory of his wrenching past erased - He was forced to recall everything that happened. When she looked into his soul, she saw a beast, as well as a man. Once a captain in the Spartan army, Kratos had begun his command with only fifty soldiers, but soon, his numbers grew to the thousands. His tactics were brutal, but effective. Drunk with power, he was feared by all, except one - His wife was the only one to brave his fury, who could see his limitless ambition, not for Sparta, but for himself. His desire for conquest knew no bounds, but that which he desired would ultimately consume him.  "That is enough." Katrina grabbed the Oracle's hands and pried the woman away from the Spartan. "By the Gods! Why would Athena send one such as you?!" out of anger, the man pushed the Oracle away from him. "Choose your enemies wisely, Kratos. Your brute strength alone will not be enough to destroy Ares. Only one item in the world will allow you to defeat a God... Pandora's Box, which lies far beyond the walls of Athens, hidden by the Gods across the desert to the east. But be warned, Kratos, many have gone in search of Pandora's Box... None have returned." thus, the Oracle opened a door for the man. "Go through the Gates to the Desert, Kratos. There begins the path to Pandora's Box. It is the only way you will defeat Ares." the woman told him. Kartos then looked at the red head, as if to ask if she were to follow him, but by the looks of it, she was nervous. What did Gods have to fear, he wondered, yet his question was left forgotten into his own mind. "I will find you again when you will be in need of my aid, Kratos. Until then, may you have a safe journey. Hold onto this. Should you find yourself in any imminent danger, it will heal all of your wounds, no matter how grievous - But be warned, it is a one-time use item. Use it wisely... Though, I pray you will not find need of it." the woman created a beautiful red flower - An azalea, matching the shade of her crimson hair. "Very well." with a grunt, Kratos took the plant and stored it well, watching the Goddess leave the court. Before he left, however, he heard the Oracle speak once more. "One aids you out of guilt, not out of free will, Ghost of Sparta." she spoke clearly. "What does a Goddess have to be guilty of, when it comes to the life of a mortal?" Kratos asked, the lack of answers gnawing at his mental. "Rather than thinking of your interactions, find the answers from before you were born. All the answers you are seeking lie there, in your past - You must only seek them, and ask the right people, the right questions. Otherwise, you shall be eternally veiled by the unknown." with the Oracle gone, Kratos was left alone, to wander through the edge of the desert, only his plaguing questions being his companion. What grave mistake could the Goddess of Kindness have committed, that in made her feel guilty enough to aid him against the God of War himself? He remembers, back then, when he saved him from Ares, when he was nothing but a child... But what else could have happened?
No matter, he though. Such a question must be asked directly, and until now, many inquires have gathered, all addressed to the mysterious Goddess that warns him about the treachery of her kin, whilst she, herself, is being accused of a crime very much similar. Heeding Athena's warning about the desert, and her advice about Pandora's box, far across the Desert of Lost Souls. He must follow the song of the sirens and be guided to Kronos - Much to his dismay, Kratos was forced to learn that a titan lives - Commanded by Zeus himself to wander the desert endlessly, the temple of Pandora chained to his back, until the swirling sands rip the very flesh from his bones.
Guided by their melody, Kratos was able to destroy the desert sirens, and thus, the temple gate was opened - Once entered, he found a horn, in which he blew, and the sands split, creating a path for him to step on. On the other side, on a marble platform, awaited another horn - Once blown into, Kronos emerged from the Desert sands - On his back, Pandora's Temple awaited, massive and patient, ready to challenge all who went in search of it's guarded treasure. Once the titan reached him, Kratos jumped and latched onto one of the chains, and jumped on the temple - For three whole days, Kratos climbed the shear walls of the mountain. He knew he would either recover Pandora's Box, or perish inside the cursed temple, never to return to the world of man.
Once he reached the platform, Kratos crossed the wooden bridge, and aided by the Body Burner, who was once the first mortal to attempt to get Pandora's Box, the Spartan was able to step inside the glorious Temple. Inside, he found a book on a pedestal, on which it was written with blood.
“This Temple was erected in Honour of and at the command of the Mighty Lord Zeus. Only the bravest hero shall solve its puzzles and survive its dangers. One man will receive ultimate power. All others shall meet their doom. ... Pathos Verdes III, Chief Architect and Loyal Subject of the Gods."
Reading this did not scare Kratos, and he simply went on ahead, inside the Rings of Pandora. With great skill and wit, Kratos was able to brave the numerous traps hidden throughout the temple, earning even the power of Artemis, her own Blade, which she used to slay a Titan, and with its help, he won the challenge of Atlas, retrieving the two Shields, of Zeus and of Hades, needed to unlock the door towards the next challenge - Braving saws and spikes, enemies plenty and mechanisms of imminent death, only to reach a trap room that was guarded by sirens, so that no mortal could retrieve the Handle of Atlas, needed for guiding the Statue of Atlas to raise the globe he was holding up, so that Kratos could pull on the lever and make it throw the great stone globe, destroying the doors blocking his way to the outside grave of the Architect's Son.
"My Youngest Son will laugh no more. Death in the service of his father. Death in the service of the Gods. The building of this temple has claimed his life. May you be lucky enough that it not claim yours.  ... Pathos Verdes III, Chief Architect and Loyal Subject of the Gods."
Though his soul ached at the idea of yet another father having to bury his own child, his heart was hardened and closed to the pain of others, and thus, he went to the coffin, pulling away the golden lid, and ripping away the skull of the young son. Once done, the coffin moved aside, revealing a tunnel and a ladder, down which the Spartan went, only to find himself amongst the wrecked bodies of those who had gone in search of Pandora's Box. At once, Kratos knew who was responsible, for this was not the first time he'd seen the ruin Ares and his minions had left in their wake. Kratos had experienced it first hand, years before...
The youngest and boldest Captain in the Spartan army, Kratos had inspired fierce loyalty in his men. It had always been enough to carry them through any battle, until this day. The Barbarians to the East numbered in the thousands, and descended on the Spartans, without mercy. The battle lasted mere hours. The discipline and training of the Spartans did little to step the tide of the merciless Barbarians. The soldiers faced a massacre, while their young captain faced the end of his brilliant career, and his life - But to Kratos, victory was worth any price... Even his soul. "Ares! Destroy my enemies, and my life is yours!" that desperate call for aid will come to haunt Kratos for all his days...
"By the Gods... What have I become...?" he asked himself, his voice trembling with emotions, same as his heart. Though the man was a seasoned warrior, and had face many a painful memories, he couldn't help but feel immense guilt.  He had done enough awful deeds for a thousand life times... And at once, he thought to himself - Who was he to blame the Goddess for ever wronging him, if, at all, provided he brought the destruction and suffering of so many, while he was only one man?
Sighing, he closed his eyes, and his heart, to the sight before him, and walked past the dead bodies, and back inside one of the primary rooms, from which he found the skull ornament in which he needed to insert the Architect's Son's skull, serving as a key for the activation of a rolling, spikey trap on which Kratos had to walk, to reach a ladder, that will bring him to the Challenge of Poseidon. Once outside, amids the sands swirling in the air, he found a small, yet peculiar dog. Kratos looked at it with great confusion, yet a bit of compassion also - He remembered how much Calliope loved the fox that the Goddess gifted her at her birth - In that instant, however, the puppy started mutating and it was engulfed in exploding flames, transforming into a vicious three-headed monsters. Many other such pups followed, but Kratos slaughtered them before they had the chance to grow, or maim him.
Inside the temple, he was forced to brave more spike-mechanism and climb more of the temple's wall, finding himself in yet another challenging abode - At the end of it, two cremation doors, sporting low fire, on each side of an inscripted table.
"What the Gods ask, I can not do, even for Pandora's Box. They are Monsters now, but they were once men.  I know I am weak, but I can not be part of this... I have failed Athens..." was written on a piece of paper, stuck on a wall with the help of an arrow, next to a fallen body.
At first, Kratos wasn't entirely sure what he had to do to pass this challenge, nor did he quite get the mournful warning from the paper - Yet once returned at the back of the long room, and rotating a lever, a cage with a living man was put on the ground next to him - And at once, it dawned on him, that for him to carry on to the next challenge, he had to make a sacrifice. A human sacrifice. "Well, what are you waiting for?! Let me out, we can find our way back to Athens!" the man desperately tried to plead to the Spartan before him. "The Gods demand a sacrifice. From all of us." was the only response Kratos gave the man, before he went to his cage, kicking him off the ledge, and onto the floor. The man continued trying to break the cage, begging the Spartan to let him go - But the warrior was too busy killing the minions hindering his journey, to pay this man any mind.
Dragging the cage all the way up the slope, into the sacrifice chamber, Kratos placed the cage in the assigned square, pulling the lever for the door to approach, and amplify the fire's power - Once the deed was done, he could pass further, into a temple filled with water - There, the Trident of Poseidon awaited him, thus, giving him the ability of easily swimming and breathing underwater, where his challenge was to truly begin. Once more, Kratos had to endure countless battles against worthy opponents and intricate machinery, timed to kill, were you not swift and witty enough to avoid them. Smarting his way through the labyrinthine underwater temple, avoiding getting squashed like a meaningless bug, and even getting to swim around a naiad, Kratos was successful,
Almost out of the temple, Kratos reached a gorgeous, tall statue that depicted Amphitrite, Poseidon's faithful wife, which will forever watch over this cursed room - It is said that she alone knows the secret way out - But such a silly thing, as a secret way out, was nothing compared to Kratos's instinct, and he easily found the exit, which lead him, once again, by the Rings of Pandora, and thus, inside the new area, began the Challenge of Hades - Hopefully, last the, for his patience was running thin very quickly.
During this challenge, he couldn't help but think about the Goddess who claimed would be there to aid him, and without realising, he found himself stroking the red flower that she gifted him. Perhaps this journey was far too dangerous, even for a God, let alone one that is focused on peace. Or, like Athena said, there were certain boundaries to how much a God can help him, as to not cross the rule that Zeus himself implanted. No matter. He didn't need help making a blood sacrifice, from the many centaurs offered, nor the blood meter from inside the temple, or even creating light inside the darkest corridor inside the great statue of Hades's own mouth.
"Eight dead ends. One way out. Will you find it before the Flames of Hades consume you? ... Pathos Verdes III, Chief Architect and Loyal Subject of the Gods"
The corridor with falling boulders was, by far, one of the greatest nuisances that the Spartan ever had to endure, but he emerged victorious, as was expected - Still, he'd rather not have to go through any of that again, nor any of the high, beams on which he had to balance himself, only to have numerous other beams, adorned with saws on it - The danger of falling or being cut in half were great, but Kratos prevailed, and found himself back in the first room, where a huge, armoured minotaur broke the door and challenged the Spartan. Though strong, he ended up just like all the other foes that Kratos fought - Dead, impaled on the door from which it emerged, and its hoof created a gap in the wood, that served as entrance for the Spartan.  Walking up the great spiralled stairs, he found himself in a chamber that hosted the tomb of the Architect's second son.  "My second son, my last, has followed his brother to the Elysian Fields. In my heart, I know I must continue the work of the Gods, but they take so much and at last, my soul begins to doubt.  ... Pathos Verdes III"
Not only did Kratos realise that the Architect stopped claiming his loyalty and devotion to the Gods, after his second child died, but the mention of Elysium served as a grim reminder that he will never be reunited with Calliope ever again, after being forced to abandon her, because of that dreadful Persephone. For a second time, Kratos ripped the skull of the second son and descended down the spiral stairs, returning to the minotaur room, only to receive the Souls of Hades, a power gifted to him but the Lord of the Underworld himself. Returning to the Rings of Pandora, down in the underground pool of the statue, Kratos inserted the skull that served as a key, which drained the water - And with his great strength, rotating the rings at his wheel, he was able to connect the two beaming lights, thus, making the statue emerge. In his head, he heard Athena congratulate, but also warn him, that once he ascends to the upper levels of the temple, he would not be able to return without the box.
As Kratos rose through the massive temple, constructed to guard Pandora's Box, he realised it was a monument, not only to the Gods of Olympus, but to the Madness of the Warned who designed it. He conquered the lower floors of the temple, but what lay in wait above would test even Kratos. Once the elevator stopped, he stepped on the Statue's hands, which led him to another bridge, where he encountered a satyr - Agile, swift and deadly, yet not a challenge for the Spartan. Killing the enemy offered free pass of the bridge towards the cave, until he encountered a harpy, ripping apart a man's dead body and eating from it. Kratos had been in service to the Gods long enough to know the harpy had been sent as a warning - A reminder from his former master of the decision that had cost Kratos everything. Had it been THAT long since he almost met his end at the hands of the Barbarians? That long, since he traded everything to save himself?  He still remembers his own cry of Ares's name, and how the sky split apart, as the God of War stepped through. Descending from Olympus, he saw the makings of a God, in a mere mortal. Ares would save Kratos. He would turn him into the perfect warrior, his servant on Earth. Only a simple pledge of loyalty was required. "My life is yours, Ares. From this day, I shall carry forth your will." his vow haunts him still, to this day, and all those dreaded words which sealed his fate. As promised, Ares rescued his new disciple, bringing forth the power of a God, destroying those who would slaughter Kratos and his men....  As for Kratos, no mere sword and shield would befit the newest servant of the God of War. The Blades of Chaos, forged in the Foulest depths of Hades - Once attached, the chains remained so - Chained and seared to the flesh, a part of the barous bargain, a permanent reminder of Kratos's pledge... In return - Ultimate power. The rage of Ares exploded from within, but soon, he would learn the true cost of such power - A cost too high, even for Kratos to pay.
"Wretched beast! I know who it is you serve! Return to your master! Tell the God of War I am his no longer! Tell him he is not safe while I walk the Earth! I WILL find Pandora's Box! And I WILL use it to see him tremble and fall before me!" Kratos threatened the harpy, which hissed and flew away in a scurry.
Thus, the Spartan was able to approach the cliffs which he had to traverse, with another warning from the architect himself. "The Cliffs of Madness lie before you. In my grieving, I fear I may have designated a maze with no true way out. If I am right, may the cruel, uncaring Gods show you the way. ... Pathos Verdes III, ... Once loyal subject of the Gods."
So the Architect truly lost all his faith in the Gods, it seemed, and once more, his mind flew towards Katrina, and her warning - Never trust a God's words, for they are selfish. They never truly care for mortals, but for their own benefit only. It seems that the Architect found that out the hard way. Though the man claimed his grieving made him create an unsolvable maze, his craft spoke for itself - As Kratos founds the necklaces of Hera and Aphrodite, starting the mechanism of the two parallel moving bridges, he was glad he needn't figure out too many further challenges.
The path before Kratos was clear, but still, the memories came rushing back, as familiar and permanent as the blades chained to his wrists. Memories of what he'd done in the name of Ares. Memories of how he'd become a servant under the God of War. A beast, his humanity robbed and replaced only with the will to murder...
No one was safe - Entire armies fell before Kratos and his soldiers that followed him on his path for never ending conquest, all in the name of his master... Those who offered resistance of any kind were dealt with quickly. "They built this temple to offer prayers to Athena! This entire village stands as an affront to Lord Ares! Burn this village - Burn it to the ground!" he remembers himself ordering his people, as he threw a torch in the dry grass, which lit on fire that spread throughout the place. Emboldened by the God of War, Kratos's army was ruthless, feared throughout the world for their brutality. All that mattered was conquest in the name of Kratos, their great Leader, who had become near invincible. He feared nothing... But there was something about THIS temple.... Something... Forbidden. All his instincts told him that he should never cross its threshold, never step inside.
"Beware, Kratos, the dangers in the temple are greater than you know." the old woman that served as the oracle of the village warned the Spartan general. But the village oracle's warnings fell on deaf ears. His ambition would not be denied. All who opposed him would die. He remembers, however, a foreign memory, that seemed to have been lost in the midst of all the chaos that his mind was wrapped into. A sweet voice, calling out his name. An embrace from behind, the feeling of rope coiled around his wrists and ankles, trying to drag him away from the temple. Someone begging him to stop. All of them were forgotten, for none was able to hinder the disciple of Ares. Now, he recalls - The Goddess was there, and she tried to stop him from entering the temple. She tried to warn him, and with that little strength of hers, she tried to forcefully keep him away, but it was all in vain, for the man was stronger than her and her Godly powers.
She had not been there, just because he called out her name, once he escaped his trance - She had been there, trying to stop him from murdering his own family, yet she failed miserable... Just like everything else in his life was unable to stop his rage after being blinded by Ares. Katrina's powers could heal the living... But she could not revive the dead. In that instant, as his own blades became soaked in the blood of his wife and child, the glory he had reveled in, turned into horror - The image of his two final victims would stay with him for all his days. Falling to his knees and mourning, Kratos knew he could no longer serve his master - He had but one calling now, the death of Ares. He would murder the God of War. "You may have your revenge, Kratos... But nothing will bring them back in your arms." the Goddess held him tightly to her chest, mimicking the way she held him as a child, when Deimos was taken from him. He must have forced himself to forget some of the details from back then, the memories to painful to be fully remembered, and comfort only brought him even greater distress.
"Ares... You WILL die for what you did that night." Kratos found himself speaking out loud, a threat that will serve as motivation in the journey left to the Architect's Chambers, where he found a table and a dead man laying in a pool of his own blood on top of it, and the skeletal remains sitting in a chair opposite of it. As the Spartan read the not pinned with a dagger, he realised, this was the Architect himself.
"...Tried to stop me... She said the Gods were fools... That I was a fool... She may be right... But they came to ME... They believed in me... She had to be stopped... But now, they are gone... My entire family... I can not go on." the note was left unsigned. The Spartan searched for the sketches pinned on the walls, that displayed the many traps that filled Pandora's Temple. At the bottom of the papers, the name of Pathos Verdes III was inked. For the last skull key, Kratos ripped the head of the Architect's wife, which opened the last door towards a new area, and hopefully, the last one.
As so it was, and Kratos reached the room where Pandora's Box was laying, surrounded by three statues - One of Hades, one of Zeus, and one of Poseidon, as if they were guarding the globe that was protecting the mystical Box. As he touched the box, he felt pain and energy surging through his body, as Athena's spirit started speaking to him. "Kratos, your quest is at an end. You are the first mortal to ever reach Pandora's Box. There is still time to save Athens. You must bring the box back to my city and use it to kill Ares. Return to Athens, Kratos. Return and save my city!" and thus, she stopped speaking, but another began speaking into his head - A voice much sweeter, yet more concerned. "Kratos, you must be careful on your way back! Ares knows of your whereabouts and of your success! He intends to kill you before you open the box!" Katrina warned him in great haste, but once Kratos tried calling out her name, she did not answer. He dearly hoped she did not get in any trouble with Ares for aiding him. Still, with the elevator bringing him back to the main entrance of the temple, Kratos began dragging the heavy, mysterious box towards the outside.
After a thousand years, Pandora's Box was, at last, freed of its confines. Kratos had found the means to destroy the God of War. Far away in Athens, just as the Goddess of Kindness foretold, Ares knew Kratos had succeeded in his Quest. "So, little Spartan, you've recovered Zeus's precious box. But you will not live long enough to see it opened. I will see to that." Ares growled menacingly, picking up a sharp, broken pillar and throwing in the trajectory of Kratos's body. "Goodbye, Spartan. You will rot in the depths of Hates for all eternity." the sharp pillar impaled and tore apart the Spartan's whole torso, and was rendered incapacitated and pinned, on the wall behind. As life began to leave Kratos, his thoughts returned to that faithful night. Even in death, the memories... The visions... Would not end... For how could he forget, spilling the blood of his own family? A cruel trick orchestrated by the God of War. Once again, he remembered the feeling of having his whole body drenched in their warm blood, and the light body of his wife, as he held her in his arms. He remembers the tears that he felt, soaking his cheeks and falling onto her face - Image mirrored by the Goddess who was holding and mourning his own child... His dear Calliope...
And worse, he remembers the words of smug victory that Ares addressed him at that time - Getting rid of his family was the goal all along - With nothing to hold him back, he was supposed to become the perfect mindless puppet... But no more. Kratos was to be used by no one anymore. He was done doing the bidding of the Gods, for it brought him only misfortune. As the flames consumed the temple, and his own family's ashes were bound to his skin, he realised that his true enemy was the very God of War that saved his life - The same one that had taken everything away from him.
With that curse, all would know him for the beast he had become - His skin white with the ash of Lysandra and Calliope - The Ghost of Sparta had been born... In the end... In death... He had failed.  As the minions of Ares claimed Pandora's Box, Kratos's life faded, and his cursed soul was cast into the viles of Hades... Or so he thought. As his mind was slipping away into unconsciousness, he instinctively reached out for the red azalea flower gifted to him, and held it tightly into his fist. He couldn't understand how it worked, but he began slowly feeling his strength returning to him, and though his vision was blurry, he was able to throw away the pillar impaling him, so that he could regenerate wholly. In his proximity, he saw something akin to a portal, and without any idea where it would lead, he trusted that it could be some of Katrina's, or any of her allies's aid, and thus, he stepped inside. On the other side, his vision grew clear - Looking around, he was on a small pedestal of what looked like the top of a bone, and much underneath him, a blood river was drowning the shrieking, falling people. He must be in the underworld, he thought - But he did not despair, for something was in front of him, and giving him hope.
The familiar liana, filled with colourful flowers, was dangling before his very eyes - And thus, he was blind and deaf to everything around him, but the thought that he had to climb out of there. He could feel the vine trembling in his hands as it tried to drag him upwards - He could only chuckle at the image that played in his hand, of the Goddess struggling to pull on the liana and get him out, how very comical.
After a long climb, he finally reached the human realm - And he was back at in Athens, when he once met the grave digger. Panting, on the ground, was the red haired Goddess who looked absolutely exhausted. That could serve as a Greek Comedy with great success. "Ah, Kratos, and not a moment too soon. I only finished digging just a moment ago." the old man spoke smugly. "Who are you?" the Spartan asked, in complete bewilderment. "Ahhh, now that is an interesting question... But for now, you must hurry. Athens needs you." the old man instructed the warrior. "But how did you know I--" he easily got cut off, as the old man nodded his head towards the riding Goddess fixing her hair.  "Athena isn't the only God keeping watch on you, Spartan. Complete your task, Kratos, and the Gods will forgive your sins!" though the old man vanished miraculously before his very eyes, Katrina, did not. "I went to Hestia and she was able to create that portal. Hestia is on great terms with everyone, so she was able to trick Hades into allowing the other end of the portal to bring you to the end of the underworld, where the grave digger made it possible to let out the liana to bring you up." the Goddess explained briefly, nodding for the man to follow her towards the Oracle's temple. "Your ways are mysterious and difficult to comprehend." Kratos spoke, following the woman. "Why would Hestia aid me?" "I did not say she aided YOU. I said she aided ME. That, in itself, is a huge difference, first and foremost. You truly must learn to understand the intricate ways in which Gods speak, otherwise, you may easily find yourself tricked by their faux promises. Again." the woman's warning only proved to be more confusing for the Spartan. "Who are you implying is trying to cheat me?" the man asked, stopping the woman in her tracks. "Everyone - And I mean it. Do not trust anyone that is a God, or close to that. Do not trust anyone. Your instinct is honed well - If you feel someone is truthful, so be it - But otherwise, do not trust anyone... They all have their own interest at heart, not yours. They are all selfish and want to profit off of you." her face was dead set and grave. "And do you count yourself in or out of that category?" the man asked, almost as a test of faith. "In, of course. The Gods want you to do their dirty work, Athena is using you to save her city, but she didn't promise you to erase your past, but only that it will be forgiven - That, in itself, will never make any difference for you. Ares robbed you of your free will and manipulated you with that orchestrated cheap trick. They are all the same. Me as well." she admitted, looking away, her face mellow. "I do not think my sin that grave, though others persecute me for it as if I am some kind of unforgivable criminal, when all I wanted was to spend some time with you. In my selfishness to achieve mine own happiness, I have destroyed another's - Not intentionally, of course - But the consequences are still the same, and I have greatly harmed the person I wanted to protect more than my own life." she admitted for the first time in her life, and for that, Kratos stepped back, his eyes wide from surprise. "The Oracle said you aid me out of guilt, not out of will." his hands found their way on her shoulders, bring her attention back to him. "The Oracle is both right and wrong. Do not take everything people say at heart's value - It is not the journey, but the end, that matters. I must live with the consequences of mine own actions, and those led to you having a life full of misfortune, and for that, I feel guilty. But do not think for one second that I am doing this for anyone else but you. It is because of my kin that so many have to suffer, and that angers me greatly - And it is because of my selfishness, that you have to suffer. It is bittersweet, staying around you, but it is my decision, from guilt AND from pleasure. Now, I advise you stop thinking so much about meaningless things, when a whole city is being destroyed by the man you seek revenge on." the red haired lady took away the hands from her shoulders and went on ahead, waiting for him to follow. "And when are you going to disclose what exactly did you do, that you feel so guilty of?" the question went on deaf ears for the whole way to the temple, until they found the Oracle, dead, on the bloody ground. "Live through this battle, and I will confess to you secrets and prophecies that you are not aware of. The cruelty of Gods knows no bounds, yet there are other, higher, primordial beings that toy around even with the revered and almighty ones. You have lived through so much - Do not get discouraged. This is your chance to get revenge on the man that wronged you so. Go ahead and show him who is the real God of War. Get the box and use and try to take the Blade of the Gods to defeat him." with one last warning that served as an encouragement also, Katrina offered him another healing flower, before sending him off to fight Ares.
Kratos had traversed the Desert of Lost Souls, bested the deadly traps of Pandora's Temple and escaped Hades himself - There was but one task left. "Zeus! Do you see now what your son can do?! You cast your favour on Athena, but her city lies in ruins before me! And now, even Pandora's Box is mine! Would you have me use it against Olympus itself?!" in that instant, Katrina called out Ares's name, which made him turn around to look down at her small form, next to the Spartan. "Ahh, Kratos? Returned even from the underworld. Lucky you had my lovesick sister to aid you." Ares turned away after the patronising comment, so that he could berate his father more. "Is this the best you can do, Father? You send a broken mortal and a flower girl to defeat ME?! THE God of War?!" in his infamy, Ares did not realise the spear that Katrina created from a blade of grass was sent towards the chains from which he was holding the Box - And once broken, the box fell on the ground, ready for Kratos to open.
After thousands of years, Pandora's Box was finally opened - The power of the Gods unleashed. Kratos grew in size, to much the God, and was ready to face him in a trial by combat. "You are STILL just a mortal. Every bit as weak as the day you begged me to save your life. That stupid sister of mine will not be able to protect you again, as when you were a child." Ares taunted the Spartan. "I am not the same man you found that day! The monster you've created has returned - To kill you." Kratos took out the Blades of Chaos, ready to fight the man with the mane of flames. "You have NO idea what a true monster is, Kratos!" Ares growled, as he grew some weird appendix from his back, making him look like a spider. "Your final lesson is at hand! Prepare to join your family, Spartan!" thus, the clash between the two greatest forces began. It was a valiant battle between two worthy opponents, but no matter how much the God of War wanted to claim to be the strongest, he was no match for the strength, tactics, wit and discipline that Kratos, the former Leader of the most feared Spartan Army, wielded against him.
Once he realised that he was losing, Ares retorted to a cheap trick - Opening a portal and sending Kratos away, to another place only he knew of. Katrina could only watch with confusion and terror - What could she do? How could she help the Spartan? She could not even feel the vitality of the flower she gifted him. "Do you see, sister? No matter how much you try to protect the ones you love, they will ALWAYS perish before your very eyes!" Ares mocked the Goddess with his laughed, as she could only lay down, in defeat. "I do not know what you have done to him, brother - But I assure you, Kratos WILL return, and he WILL end your pathetic life!" the woman cried out to him, allowing herself to grow in form to match him, and readying her weapon.  "Father has forbidden the Gods from fighting one another - Do you dare go against his orders, little fox?" Ares was positively amused by the sight of the Goddess of Kindness, holding her weapon. "I do not fight for Athena, nor am I going to defeat you - Of that, I am sure - But if I can keep you from destroying the city and killing more mortals until Kratos returns, then I have fulfilled my duty as the patron Goddess that watched over the people we govern over." she spoke getting in a defensive stance, awaiting her brother's attack.
Kratos, on the other hand, could still hear Ares speaking inside of his head - He was going to destroy his spirit - Destroy HIM. He was thus sent in front of the cursed Temple, where he would try to make amends and undo the horrors he had done. The nightmares that have haunted Kratos for the past 10 years have now taken full amend substance. His past stood before him. Though his heart was aching, he got the strength to kick open the door, and before his very eyes, he could see his wife trying to protect his child, and the fox was before them, snarling, ready to attack.  - They were terrified, yet upon seeing him, he could see a speck of relief.
"Kratos, what's happening?! Where are we?!" Lysandra asked her husband.  "By the Gods... Can this be real?!" he was almost speechless, but as he uttered those words, small, dark portals opened, and from them, copies of his own body were unleashed, and they were all attempting to attack his family. Once he heard his dear Calliope call out to him 'Daddy!' in such a fearful voice, he took out his weapons and was ready to defend his family, as he should have, from the very beginning. "Ares! There is NOTHING you can put in my way to stop me! I WILL save my family!" he cried out, as he began to kill countless fake iterations of himself, only to occasionally embrace his family, hoping it would sooth their fears - He WILL protect them! The feeling of having his wife and child in his arms once again was a bliss, though it was short lasting.
Kratos had done the impossible - He had saved his family. "Kratos! Please, take us home!" Lysandra reached out her arm towards her husband, pleading to him.  "Do you see, God of War?! You took them once, but you'll NEVER have them again!" Kratos shouted towards the skies, taunting Ares.  "You cannot save them, Kratos. You gave them up in your quest for ultimate power. There is a price to pay for everything you gain." he could hear his arch nemesis speak to him. "Not that price. I did not want them to die." with great pain, Kratos closed his eyes and hung his head. He was in agony. "NO PRICE IS TOO HIGH FOR WHAT I OFFERED YOU!" Ares growled at the Spartan weakened by his emotions. "And you rejected me - A GOD!" the Blades began working on their own, suspending him painfully, digging into his flesh, drawing blood - “Now, you will have NO power, NO magic! ALL that is left for you, is DEATH!" Aries sneered, as the Blades left Kratos's flesh, and they slew his family once again, before his very eyes.
As Ares rose his fiery longsword up, Kratos appeared once again in the mortal world, kneeling on the ground and weaponless. It looked as though Ares was going to decapitate him, so just as he was ready to swing his sword of injustice, Katrina leapt between him and the mortal, and used her weapon to parry the attack. "FOOL! Who do you think you are, silly woman?! Fighting for a broken man, still lingering over his dead family! He will never have a place in his heart for you! You are fighting a losing battle!" he kept taunting the woman, but she did not budge. "It matters little to me whether Kratos loves me, as long as he is alive. I only wish for his well-being, and if I have to die to save him, then at least I know I pissed on the prophecy of those stupid Sisters of Fate!" she sneered back at him, getting dangerously close to his face. "What a stupid flower girl... No wonder Aphrodite is so fond of you - You would both forsake anything you have, for the sake of the one you love. Pathetic! You will never achieve any fame, nor greatness this way!" Ares could see he was easily overpowering his sister, and he continued to press on. "Conquest matters little to me. Don't blame me for having different ideals!" in that instant, Kratos opened his eyes - He could feel something going up his hand and emanating a warm, pulsating aura - Looking down, he noticed he was holding the red azalea, once again. Katrina managed to wake him up from his trance - And by the looks of it, she was struggling greatly to hold Ares from killing him. "By the... Gods..." the Spartan muttered, rolling away towards the great Blade of the Gods, just as she had instructed him previously. The battle was not over. Now, he could defeat the God of War. "I still have allies in Olympus, Ares - And now, you will see how strong I am." putting his hand on the woman's shoulder and gently pulling her behind him, Kratos was ready for the end battle, once and for all.
Ares's defeat came after a short time as Kratos bested him as his greatest skill - War fighting. "Remember, Kratos - It was I who saved you, in your time of greatest need!" he tried to bargain, to have his life saved. "I haven't forgotten, Ares. I remember how you saved me!" Kratos was seething with anger, as he approached the fallen God. "That night... I was trying to make you a great warrior...!" Ares pleaded, but it was for naught. "You succeeded." was the Spartan's only answer, as he drove the sword in the God's chest - And he fell pathetically in the water, and died, looking akin to a ragdoll.
Kratos had truly done the impossible - A mortal, defeating a God - Ares was no more, and with his death, a great explosion befell the ocean. The city had been saved and would thrive again. The same could not be said for Kratos, for as he sought to rebuild his soul with the help of the Gods - The truth was revealed to him. "Athena - Rid me of the memories that haunt me still." he pleaded - Begged, even, the statue of the Goddess, with pitiful hopelessness. "You have done well, Kratos. Though we mourn the death of our brother, the Gods are in debt to you. We promised your sins would be forgiven, and so they are - But we never promised to take away your nightmares. No man, no God, could ever forget the terrible deeds you have done." came Athena's cruel answer.
In the end, the truth was just as Katrina had warned him - His sins are forgiven, yes, but that helps him with naught. No Gods promised his nightmares would disappear, so he cannot accuse them of betrayal.  Knowing the visions of his past would never leave him, Kratos made his way to the bluffs, overlooking the Aegean Sea. "The Gods of Olympus have abandoned me. Now... There is no hope..." and Kratos cast himself from the highest mountain in all of Greece. After ten years of suffering - Ten years of endless nightmares - It would finally come to an end.
Death would be his escape from madness...
The fate of Kratos was not as it seemed. The Gods had other plans. Broughten off like a feather, Kratos found himself risen from the sea and placed on solid earth, back from which he leapt. The vines that were tightly coiled around him were bringing him no discomfort, except for the notion that he was not yet dead, and the madness will never end. Back on the cliff, he was embraced tightly by the red haired Goddess who was trembling in his arms, while another spoke to him - That lying statue of Athena was haunting him even now, not allowing him his bittersweet end.
"You will not die this day, Kratos. The Gods cannot allow one who has performed such service to perish by his own hand. Ares's tactics were brutal. His path of destruction had to be stopped - But now, there is an empty throne in Olympus, and a new God of War is needed. Take these stairs, Kratos. They lead to your ultimate reward." Athena spoke to him once more. Sighing, realising there was no way to end this life, he put his hands on the Goddess's shoulders, and gently pushed her back, before raising her chin to look at him - And he realised, she had been crying.  "What is it that ails you so?" he asked, noticing the quivering lip. "I simply cannot imagine a life without you. Ask no further. Let us proceed to your throne... Though it is not the reward you wished for..." taking his hand, the woman guided him up the stairs that lead to the peak of Mount Olympus, and inside, there awaited his Godly Throne - His rightful place upon it. Katrina smiled, looking at the frowning man sitting on the throne. "It suits you better than it did him, Kratos. Though it is not your desired end... I hope you will not go out of your way to seek your own demise again. I meant what I said earlier. I may hate seeing you suffer - But I am a God, and Gods are selfish, and before anything, I wish for you to live, and for me, to see you that way." she confessed to him in that honeyed voice of hers, and Kratos realised that even if he doesn't yet have all of his answers, with his new status and powers as a God, he can much easier seek them. "Fear no further, for I will not die any time soon, Katrina." reassuring her, he extended his arm towards her and grabbed ahold of her hand, and with a tug, he pulled her onto his lap. Caressing her flawless face with one hand, while the other found itself putting the azalea into her hair, he couldn't help but admire the gentle beauty before him. "You have aided me plenty all this time, Katrina. Now, aid your people and help them restore their life. I know it is what you want. Once you are done, come back to me, and you can tell me all there is about those prophecies from long ago." Kratos suggested, earning the most enchanting, lovely smile that he had ever seen from a woman. "Very well, Kratos. Wait for me - And for as long as you will have me, I will be by your side, guiding you, and lighting up the road for you." she comforted the man, who brought her into an embrace, and stole a sweet kiss from her. "I will be waiting for as long as you need." for the first time in so long, the new God of War found himself with a genuine smile on his face - Though he had other plans in his mind, and a lot of goals to achieve - For now, he was content, having the beautiful Goddess that could caress and sooth his soul so easily.
And from that point forward, throughout the rest of time, whenever men road forth to battle - For good cause, or evil - They did so under the watchful eye of the man who had defeated a God.
They were driven forward by Kratos, the mortal who had become the new God of War.

BRF Reading, 13th of December 2022
This is speculation only
Cards drawn on the 13th of December, 2022
Question: How well protected are William and Catherine and their children?
Tumblr media
Interpretation: Very well protected.
Card One: Temperance. Temperance is a card of balance, stability, patience and compromise. This tells me that the protection for the Wales family is in proportion to the threats against them. If the threats increase, the protection increases. The protection around them is stable. It will err on the side of moderation and caution rather than leaving them exposed. This may involve compromise and patience from the Waleses, but they give that gladly in return for being protected.
The goddess on the card is the goddess Iris, the goddess of the rainbow. Remember all those rainbows that appeared after the passing of her late Majesty? I am taking this as a sign that the universe is also helping to protect the Waleses (and the entire Royal Family). Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip are watching over them from heaven as they did on earth.
Card Two: The Ace of Wands. This is a card of a new creative venture. In terms of security, it tells me that new things have been put in place to protect The Prince and Princess of Wales and their children. Wands can be PR, so the protection extends to the area of media and PR, with threats on the media being scrutinised and taken seriously, and perhaps new procedures being put in place as a result of these threats.
The picture on the card shows Zeus, chief of the gods, the god that appears on the Emperor card. This tells me that King Charles is aware of and has approved these new security measures, which include PR threats but extend beyond them to every area of security and protection.
Card Three: The Ace of Pentacles. This is a card of new material or financial beginnings or opportunities. In terms of security, it tells me that more money has been spent of the protection of the Waleses, and that money is being spent (in part or in full) in new areas to cover new potential threats as well as protecting against the old threats. The finances for the protection of the Waleses has increased as well as the level of security.
Underlying Energy: The Six of Wands. This is the card of success in an undertaking, of the hero or prince riding through the streets in triumph. As a card of victory and success, in answer to my question it says that The Prince and Princess of Wales and their children are very well protected. Their protection is a success, a victory, a triumph. They can ride through the streets in safety. If you look at the card, you can see friends and soldiers standing behind the main figure (the prince/hero), all bearing torches and all ready to defend him. This tells me that both their friends and 'soldiers' (royal guards, RPOs, M15, the military etc) are protecting the Waleses and they have joined together to do so (eg the military is working with M15, any threats seen or heard by their friends are reported to the RPOs, and so on).
Underlying Energy Two: The Empress. This is the card of the mother and of the female ruler of a country. It is a card that I used to get for the late Queen Elizabeth. What this card says to me is that The Prince and Princess of Wales and their children are protected as securely as if they were the late Queen Elizabeth, or as if they were the rulers of the country (and not the heirs). They have the strongest and highest level of protection possible.
Conclusion: The Prince and Princess of Wales and their children are very well protected. The security around them is increased whenever the threat level increases. In addition to this, the security has been extended in new ways, one of which is most likely to be the threat from other people's PR, and the budget for their security has been increased to cover all these new costs. Their friends and their security, both personal (RPOs) and impersonal (the military, M15 etc) are working together to keep them as safe as possible. They are as well protected as if they were the King and Queen.

Love Language Test (Crack Post)
Jason: Why are we here, Hazel?
Percy: Yeah, Hazel. Why am I here?
Jason: I said ‘We’.
Percy: My self-preservation meter is all the way up at the moment, Grace.
Hades: As it should.
Hazel: Relax, guys. I just need someone to back me up on this.
Percy: I’m sure Frank or Reyna would have done a good job, Hazel.
Hazel: Frank and Reyna don’t know what’s going on between Nico and Lord Aeon as much as you two.
Jason: Great.
Percy: I actually don’t know as much. I only know stuff from what Jason tells me.
Jason: Thank you for putting me on the spotlight, Jackson.
Percy (grins): You’re so very welcome, Grace.
Hazel: Anyway, Father just wants to make sure everything is... okay.
Percy: So, you brought us here because you can’t test Nico’s boyfriend directly.
Hades: The only thing you’re testing here is my patience, Jackson.
Percy (gulps): Sorry. But you have to admit, our family tree is really messed up.
Jason & Hazel: No objections there.
Jason: Do you have a list of questions, Lord Hades? Or should we go through each love language?
Hazel: What’s that?
Jason: It’s... you don’t know? Piper told me about it a long time ago. It’s how we express and receive love. That kind of stuff.
Percy: Interesting conversations you’re having.
Jason: It was actually an interesting conversation.
Hazel: Then we’ll go by that.
Jason: Okay. There’s five in total. First one is words of affirmation.
Hazel: He passes with flying colors.
Percy: If there was a test, he would have scored over a 100.
Jason (to Hades): He’s really smitten with Nico, Lord Hades. This is coming from someone around them almost all the time during summer.
Hades (frowns): Next one.
Jason: Quality time. Is it a pass if he’s around Nico all the time, with the exception of when it’s curfew?
Percy: Is it in an obsessive creepy way?
Hazel: Not really. From what I heard from Nico, he’s very respectful of his space when Nico asks to be left alone.
Hades (grunts): Next one.
Jason: Receiving gifts. In this case, him giving gifts.
Percy: Does the universe count?
Hades: What?
Percy: Your son-in-law promised to give him the universe. The only difference, coming from his mouth, he could actually do it.
Hades: He’s not my son-in-law.
Percy: Uh-huh. (Thinking) How will you even refuse a primordial?
Hazel: Oh! I heard one time from Nico that he tried gifting him a snow globe.
Jason: That sounds... normal.
Hazel: Except inside that snow globe was the entire universe.
Jason, Percy & Hades: What?!
Hazel: Nico almost dropped it when he found out. He drew a line there.
Jason: As he should!
Hazel: He’s working on getting him to understand the mortal ways.
Jason: Should we consider that a pass then?
Percy: When have you had someone promise you the universe and actually deliver on that promise?
Jason: Fair point. The fourth one is acts of service. It’s what you do for your partner.
Percy: Dude, he defied the Fates by saving you when you were facing Caligula. You should have died that day.
Hades: The Fates were unhappy.
Percy: Nico would have been unhappy. An unhappy Nico equates to an unhappy Aeon. Would the gods rather deal with the Fates or a Primordial who can control the Fates?
Hades: Neither.
Percy: Same.
Hazel: It’s a pass then.
Jason: Okay. The last one is physical touch.
Percy: ...
Jason: ...
Hazel: ...
Hades: One of you better start speaking.
Hazel: Well, Nico said that he’s very respectful.
Hades: How respectful is very respectful?
Jason (gulps): Hand holding?
Hades: Elaborate, son of Zeus.
Jason (to Percy): You know too. You tell Lord Hades.
Percy: I have self-preservation, Grace.
Jason: Traitor.
Hazel: They hold hands and umm... he kisses Nico’s hands, cheeks and forehead too...?
Hades: You sound unsure, child. As if you’re not telling me everything.
Percy: I wouldn’t tell everything too if my friend’s father can easily bury me underground with the wrong answer.
Hades: I wouldn’t bury my daughter, but that is something I consider I would do with you and Jason Grace.
Jason: (elbows Percy)
Percy: (glares)
Hazel: They kiss too... on the lips. (blushing)
Hades: ...Are you telling me he has already defiled my son?
Jason: No! Not like that. Nico wouldn’t-! (blushing) He’s not that age yet, and Lord Aeon is very respectful in that regard.
Hades: So, he is planning.
Percy: This is not a talk I want to be involved in.
Hades: I may not be able to kill a primordial, but I can kill you, Jackson.
Percy: Why me?!
Hades: You are him.
Percy: That’s not fair!
Nico (steps into the room): What are you all doing...? Why is father here?
Aeon: (steps into the room)
Hades: (disappears)
Jason: Uhh...
Aeon: I heard all of it, just so you know.
Jason, Hazel & Percy: (laughs awkwardly)
Nico (to Aeon): What did you hear?
Aeon: Some sort of love language test because your father can’t test your boyfriend.
Nico: (blushes a bright red)
Aeon: Your father was worried for your chastity and was prepared to kill Percy as some indirect way of killing me.
Nico: That’s! I would never-! I’m still sixteen!
Aeon: He’s considering in advance.
Nico (to Hazel, Jason and Percy): Please don’t talk to Father again about this.
Jason: Percy and I had no plans! Hazel dragged us into this.
Percy: This friendship is very exhausting. Please give me at least a week to heal from this near-death experience.

Happy Yule!!
Today is what me and my wife are considering the first day of Yule (mostly because I have little patience and couldn’t wait to give my partner a gift). This is really our first official Yule celebration as we now have time, the means, and are actually living together and are at our own home for the holiday period. And I am super fucking pumped for it! The whole month I’ve had a countdown to today on our entryway chalkboard and now it’s here!!
When it comes to Christmas, and a bit of Yule as well, it is a secular holiday for me. As a pagan I do my offerings on my altar and do a little bigger of a spread than I do on a usual day in celebration of the holiday, but the rest of my traditions and activities are pretty secular. I’ve taken much of the non-religious traditions from my family and continue to do those around this time of year (like baking certain family recipes, doing certain present and stocking traditions, etc) but I try not to completely separate the holiday from the Gods and my practice as a pagan.
The Gods are a huge part of my life. I think about them and recognize them every day. I honor them as often as I can and give offerings when I feel I should or when I’ve found or made something I’d like to share with them. So it wouldn’t feel right keeping my celebrations unconcerned with the Gods and leaving my altar bare and collecting dust.
As the winter has set in, when fall began to fade, and it’s gotten really fucking cold here, I think about the Gods. I think about Persephone’s role in the changing of the seasons and how vibrant and colorful the underworld is while she is there. I think about Artemis being with the animals as they hibernate and face the cold months of scarcity. I think about Zeus and Poseidon as they work together creating breathtaking storms and blizzards, freeze the lakes and waters around me, and freeze my breath as I walk outside. I think a lot about Hestia and Hera as my partner and I spend more time inside and together, making our home cozy and fill it with love and laughter. I pray to Hermes as I and everyone else deals with the ice and snow on the roads and just pray for safety in my travels and the awareness needed to get home in one peace.
The traditions that I create new, the ones I continue on from my family and my wife’s family, I fill with intention and sympathetic magic to keep the spirit of the season, the joy of the holidays, and the wonder of nature alive in my life. I try to imbue new life and meaning into holiday traditions that feel wrong not to do around this time, and I keep the Gods in mind and hope they are having fun with them too.
I wish everyone a safe and happy winter. Stay safe this solstice, spend time with loved ones, and treat yourself to something that brings you joy every day.
Cheers, and happy holidays
-D

You know, despite the fact that Hades is a Villain in the Disney Universe. Something tells Me that out of all of the Olympian Gods, I have a feeling that Hades' personality was swapped with Hera's and Poseidon's.
Like, you can basically tell that Hades takes in as the Role of Hera due to his hatred over his Nephew.
But he also takes in the Role as Poseidon due to how that the Real Poseidon was described being Hot-Headed and Ruthless and even the most Cruel Brother out of the Big Three. If you take the Odyssey for an example, you would completely know why.
I agree! They definitely didn’t want to use the adult subject of infidelity and wanted to keep the film PG, so they were like “Hey, Hades is the god of the dead. That has villain potential. Let’s make him the villain!” Lol, so they made Zeus and Hera the good guys and the happy power couple while Hades was just the evil little brother with no flower wife to stand by him lmao
But yeah, they definitely used Hera’s story of wanting to get rid of baby Hercules out of spite against Zeus and since he was born a god and not a demigod they were like “Yeah, Hades is all spooky and evil and he has alchemy abilities, so he has a special mortal potion but the catch is you have to drink every last drop and he missed one drop so he’s like 90% god” lol and then of course Hera sent monsters and all kinds of creatures to fight Hercules and so did Hades.
Also yes, they did kinda combine Poseidon and Hades’ personalities a little bit. Hades is certainly a hot head lol, but from what we see in the series, Poseidon has quite the temper too. He tends to lose his patience very easily and can get upset over stuff that inconveniences him. Of course, he’s not as bad as his little brother is, but he does have a temper and can be pretty spiteful when angered. In fact, I think I practically all the episodes he’s been featured in, he’s been shown to have a temper like in the River Styx episode he beat up Hades for double crossing him and trying to take over Athens and his domain, in the Poseidon’s Cup Adventure episode he got angry that he was considered “washed up” and was upset that his nephew said he was “bigger than Poseidon” so much so that he nearly drowned him in the boat race, and in the Son of Poseidon episode he got upset that his son wanted to go to school with mortals and that Triton stole his trident when he want looking and freed a big ‘ol sea monster lol. But like I said, he’s certainly not as bad as Hades is lol
I believe in another ask it was mentioned that Poseidon was more of the “evil brother” out of the three in Greek mythology and he once tried to overthrow Zeus, so they did take that aspect of him and give it to Hades as well.

Leto Days.. (btw Leto in Russian means summer, just pronounced w an a, but spelled w o). That isnt to say that isnt good 4 all year round, but just thinking ^^... thought to make for me August her mounth cs it reminds me much of Virgin Mary..
Nice ideas i had:
Just thought a nice tradition concerning godess Leto & tied to every day of the week... if you think of it, each day is tied w something related to her:
Lundi/Monday: most tied w the moon & darkness as well as her daughter Artemis;
Tumblr media
Mardi/Tuesday: day of Mars/Ares, related to the struggle she went through while not being able to birth on any land untill she reached Delos..;
Tumblr media
Mercredi/Wednesday: day of Mercury/Hermes: related to the removing of obstacles & wealth - i guess anyone could tell as she embodies that strenght which brings one to completion if properly used;
Tumblr media
Jeudi/Thursday: Jupiter/Zeus - sth Related to her might, (represented i as an eagle) & her relationship w Zeus;
Tumblr media
Vendredi/Friday: The love for her children & what could next be? Ya know, love is everything, n it is real beauty 🥰
Tumblr media
Samedi/Saturday: to connect it with the time passing
Tumblr media
Dimanche/Sunday: The son Apollo & the light he brings...
Tumblr media
___
& AI adding:
1. **Lundi/Monday (Moon/Artemis)**: As you noted, Monday can be tied to Artemis, the moon, and darkness. You could also see it as a day of reflection and nurturing inner strength, like Leto did while in hiding and protecting her children. It represents the quiet power of endurance, often hidden but essential.
2. **Mardi/Tuesday (Mars/Ares)**: Beyond struggle, this day can symbolize Leto's perseverance in the face of rejection and the battle to give birth on Delos. It could be a day of honoring determination and the fight against seemingly insurmountable odds.
3. **Mercredi/Wednesday (Mercury/Hermes)**: Hermes, being the god of transitions, travel, and messages, aligns with the way Leto navigated the world to find a safe haven for her children. This day could also symbolize Leto's journey and guidance in helping others find their own paths when obstacles are in the way.
(Here let's not forget the prizes.. ^^)
4. **Jeudi/Thursday (Jupiter/Zeus)**: Leto's connection with Zeus could represent the harmony of divine forces and the importance of favor from higher powers. It could be a day to honor the relationship between cosmic order (Zeus as the sky god) and the earthly strength Leto embodies.
5. **Vendredi/Friday (Venus/Aphrodite)**: As a day of love and beauty, this could also reflect Leto's role as a mother and protector, representing unconditional love and sacrifice. The beauty of her devotion to her children and the grace she carries through adversity can be honored on this day.
6. **Samedi/Saturday (Saturn/Chronos)**: Saturn's association with time and cycles can relate to Leto's embodiment of patience and waiting for the right moment (as seen in her long journey). It symbolizes respect for the passage of time and how it ultimately brings fruition.
7. **Dimanche/Sunday (Sun/Apollo)**: Beyond Apollo as the god of light and music, Sunday could represent the bright outcome of Leto's perseverance. It is the day of celebrating accomplishments, success, and the divine gifts that arise from enduring the trials of life. The light of Apollo could also symbolize clarity and enlightenment that Leto helps bring into the world.
This beautifully reflects Leto's divine aspects in daily life, (through her myths) and anyone following this tradition could gain inspiration by connecting their personal struggles, hopes, and victories to her mythos. - chat gpt
