It was a rainy afternoon. Your boyfriend, San, was sitting in his desk chair and playing video games when you walked into his room, your eyes half closed— the pitter patter of the rain on the windows was making you extremely sleepy, and rainy weather always made you just want to bundle up and sleep the day away. You trudged up to him and rested your chin on his head before letting out a little sigh.
“What’s wrong, baby?” San asked while still heavily invested in his game.
“I’m so sleepy…”
San paused his game and turned around in his chair. He held his arms out, and you immediately moved into his embrace, his thick arms making you feel very secure and even more sleepy.
“Do you want to take a nap?” he whispered.
You nodded and stifled a yawn.
“You can sleep in my bed, baby.”
“…Can you be there with me?”
“I don’t want to take a nap, though—”
“No, just lay in bed with me. You can keep playing your video game,” you told him, hoping that would be enough for him to at least sit next to you while you napped.
“Okay, then can you nap in the living room? That way I can still play.”
You nodded before the two of you went to the living room. San turned on his console and took a seat. You then immediately laid down on the couch, your head resting on your boyfriend’s comfortable thighs. San resumed playing his game, the sounds of his controller clicking slowly lulling you to sleep.
Yeah, right.
You were trying to sleep, and you were so tired that you thought you were actually going to fall asleep the second your head hit his thigh, but you were still awake. You kept your eyes shut as you fidgeted a little, trying to get into a more comfortable position. You were originally facing the tv, but that position wasn’t doing it, so you turned and faced the sofa.
When you faced the sofa, though, you faced San’s crotch. At first, your goal was to scoot away from his crotch so that you didn’t make him uncomfortable, but when you moved your head again, you saw it twitch. Amused, you shifted again, and it twitched again. At that point, you were definitely not asleep, and you desperately wanted to see the expression on San’s face, but you couldn’t without him realizing you were awake.
San, meanwhile, could barely fucking focus. You were getting dangerously close to his crotch, and he was getting harder with every movement. He didn’t think much of it when you laid down on his lap because you had done so in the past, but maybe it was because you were dressed in nothing but a long t-shirt and panties that made this situation slightly different. From the corner of his eye, he could see the shirt ride up a little bit whenever you moved, and at some point, he could see the hem of your black panties peek out from under the shirt. Yep, he was rock solid now.
You wanted to tease him further— since you were wide awake, you figured you’d have some fun. You brought your hands up to your chest and curled slightly into fetal position while whining quietly. You heard San suck in a breath and exhale slowly, his cock pressing against his pants more and more with every passing movement of yours.
San finally broke when you arched your back to stretch it out. It wasn’t just the stretch that got him, no— it was the stretch, the way you pushed your ass out, and the fucking moan that left your lips as you did so.
Carefully, San set his controller aside. He pressed his lips together as he tried to move away from your head so he could go situate himself, but when you whined again, he stayed put. He did the next best thing he could think of and tried to think of things that would turn him off, but that definitely did not work because you were still teasing him, and his cock was twitching like crazy.
At that point, San felt like he only had one option left (if he didn’t want to wake you from your “peaceful slumber”), and that was to take care of it right then and there. Luckily, your head was far enough from his crotch that he was able to slowly pull his stiff cock out of his pants, a slight sigh of relief escaping his body when the tension released slightly. That being said, he was still hard and throbbing, and he needed to do something about it.
You kept your eyes as closed as possible but opened them slightly to see San start to jerk himself off. He was trying his best to keep his breathing quiet, but he would grunt and groan every so often as rubbed himself. His hips were subtly bucking upwards when his hand sped up, so he had to slow himself down to keep you from waking up. You could tell he was getting more frustrated and that he was practically edging himself every time he slowed down.
San looked down at your face. The darkest thought entered his mind, and he immediately tried to push it out, but the thought of him fucking your mouth while you were asleep was just too appealing. Plus, the two of you had set boundaries in the past agreeing that waking up to being fucked was okay— this was mainly because you liked the idea of him eating you out first thing in the morning.
You felt San tap his cock on your cheek, a longer (and still soft) groan leaving his being. He inhaled sharply before gently moving your head and pulling your chin down to open your mouth. Heat flushed through your body when he slid his thick cock into your mouth. San whimpered when your lips got tighter, his breath shuddering. Your mouth felt so good— so much better than his fist— but it still was not enough.
San kept rolling his hips upwards gently as he moved his cock subtly in and out of your mouth, but he was moving so freaking slowly because he was still worried about waking you up. Finally, you decided to cut the act. Well, not entirely. You “woke up,” your eyes fluttering open before slowly looking up to San’s red face. He was biting down on his lower lip, and he looked guilty as fuck.
You didn’t give him time to move or apologize or anything. You turned so that you were on your hands and knees, and you started sucking him off properly, a long groan leaving him as he flung his head back, his eyes rolling to the back of his head. When he brought his head back, he placed his hand on your head and began guiding you the way he wanted. You went from sucking prim and properly to loud and sloppily.
“Fuck, baby,” San groaned. “Ah— Oh!”
San let go of your head to grip the couch cushions, his hips raising as he felt himself nearing his release. The second you heard his loud, low groan, he came, his cum spurting into your mouth. His breathing was still shaky as he finished completely, and even after you slurped up everything and took his cock out of your mouth, he was still red, erect, and twitching; and it only got worse when you swallowed and cleaned the edges of your mouth with the tips of your fingers.
“I didn’t mean to wake you up,” he whispered.
“I know, Sannie,” you whispered back as you sat up.
“Well, now that you’re up…”
You smiled. You held onto his shoulders and straddled him, a giddy smile spreading across his face as he wrapped his arms around your waist. You slipped your panties off, and you held his cock gently, moving it so that it was lined up with your entrance. Both you and San moaned softly as you sat on his lap, his thick cock spreading you wide and filling you up.
“Baby, you’re so wet,” San teased as he pushed his head into the nook of your neck. “Sucking my cock did that much for you?”
Hearing him sensually mutter and say the word “cock” made you tingle all over. You gripped his shoulders a little more tightly and gave him a tiny nod, making him chuckle. He pressed a soft kiss into your neck before rubbing his nose against your skin and softly humming.
You simply sat on San’s lap with his cock deep inside you as he peppered kisses all over your exposed skin. His hands went under your oversized shirt, his fingers leaving blazing trails along your back. When his hands made their way up to your ribs, he withdrew his hands to lift the end of your shirt up. He held the end to your mouth, prompting you to bite the fabric so your breasts were exposed to the air. San grunted gently when he saw them, a smirk rising to his face. He moved forward slightly, making you lean back so that he had easier access to your breasts. He took one breast into his mouth and sucked hard, your toes curling and your hold on his sweater getting so tight that you nearly tore holes into the fabric.
“Mmm, baby, don’t tear this sweatshirt,” San chuckled. “This is a new one.”
“Oh, really?” you asked slightly sarcastically; as if you didn’t know that information earlier.
“Wait, let me just take it off—”
“No, don’t,” you stopped him. You moved your hands to his neck and said, “You look sexy in it.”
San’s face got a little pinker as he blinked at you in surprise.
“I thought you liked me when I was naked?” he asked in a teasing voice.
“Mmm, I like you in all forms, Sannie,” you replied as you leaned forward, making him lean back into the couch.
San grinned. You tilted his face up to meet yours, and he for sure thought you were going to kiss him, so he was mildly surprised when you started to leave kisses on his neck. You ran your tongue up the side of his neck before leaving a wet kiss, your lips sucking hard on his skin to leave a mark.
While you focused on leaving hickeys all over his thick neck, San moved his hands down to your ass. He moved you up and down so that you were slowly bouncing on his cock, the man stifling soft gasps when you sat all the way down. You held the back of San’s neck and tried to keep your grip on sanity as the friction of his cock rubbing against your tight walls made the tension in your stomach build rapidly.
San couldn’t hold back his groans at some point. You were getting tighter, and he was losing his mind. He squeezed his eyes shut, his breathing getting shallower and his gasps getting higher in pitch. His waist was snapping upwards, making his thrusts way stronger. He was fucking you roughly, but it wasn’t quite enough for either of you.
Suddenly, San pinned you on the couch, and he fucked you way faster, the intensity of his thrusts not letting up in the slightest. You flung your head back and moaned loudly as San thrust into you so far and hard that he hit your cervix. Your thighs trembled as you creamed around San’s cock, the pleasure too much for you to handle.
You got so freakishly tight when you came that San ended up cumming too. He slammed his waist into yours and groaned, his cum spurting inside you. You felt his cock twitch inside you multiple times, before he pulled out; and just like earlier, his cock was still hard and eager.
“Sannie, you’re really pent up, huh?” you couldn’t help but chuckle as you reached for his cock and stroked him gently.
San chuckled as well before leaning down and whispering in your ear.
“Fuck video games— I’m going to play with you for the rest of the day.”

Can we talk about that as bumbling and comedic as Rocky’s role was in the sequel, he was consistently just putting himself in harm’s way and dangerous situations without thought because absolutely nothing was keeping him from his girls?? Always going forth with this steely look on his face?? It’s such a development from the self-serving and “HIDE ME!!” we saw from him at the beginning of the first movie.
(I also like…really appreciate that this is also so consistent to his backstory; the guy was routinely shot out of a cannon so yeeting himself across great distances comes naturally.)

Scars (Commander Wolffe x Jedi Reader) Part 8
Tumblr media
Words: 1.3k (Shorter chapter than normal) Warnings: None that I can think of ... sorry to the Wolffe fans out there, he's really having a tough time of it. Pronouns Used: She/Her, Use of (Y/N).
“You did what?” asked Fox, needing to be sure he’d heard Wolffe’s explanation correctly. “You’re lucky it was just her com she yeeted and not you along with it,” he added, a serious tone to his brotherly voice. Soon enough, a sigh escaped his lips; the paperwork involved would be torture, and on top of that, there was little doubt the Coruscant Guard would be charged with finding the now missing Jedi.
“You’re not helping,” growled Wolffe, once again confronted with his conflicted feelings. The kiss hadn’t been intended yet; still, it haunted him more than anything prior to it; the words he’d spoken after weren’t any better. He thought he’d been relieved she was gone, but instead, he felt even more guilt than before. He’d hurt her perhaps even worse than those a part of her past had.
“I wasn’t trying to,” simply replied Fox.
“What are you doing?”
“Contacting General Kenobi and Skywalker; if anyone’s gonna find her outside General Plo, it’s those two,” spoke Fox, setting himself on the immediate task of finding the missing Night Sister. After all, he knew the fear others had; he knew others were scared she’d one day turn back to her dark side roots.
“I’ll help,” Wolffe volunteered, feeling the need to correct his mistakes, even if that meant sacrificing what little downtime he had. “The boys are fond and won’t rest until she’s found.”
“You’ve done enough,” harshly responded Fox. Although it was instantly clear he regretted them, he still did nothing to soothe the situation. “The Jedi are afraid, Wolffe. (Y/N), is the daughter of a Sith lord. They’re afraid she’ll rebound and turn back to her roots,” explained the Marshall Commander, revealing just a little bit of what he knew. “They’re afraid if she falls to the dark side, she’ll become far worse than Dooku; after all, she was more of a reason to hate some of them.”
“More of a reason?” Wolffe asked, once again suspecting there was more to her history than met the eye. Plo had hinted at it on several occasions when one of the boys asked, and several other Jedi had, too, even if (Y/N) herself dodged or changed the subject when it was brought up.
“Let's just say most of the Jedi Council monumentally failed her,” said Fox in response, recalling when he’d stumbled across the information, it had been with things sent over from the Chancellor's office. When Fox had questioned it, the answer had come from the Chancellor himself, making it clear the information hadn’t been put in there by accident but to prepare the Guard in case anything happened. “She trusts them even less than they trust her.”
“Commanders,” politely interrupted Obi-Wan. Anakin was at his side with his own Padawan. Just behind them were Commander Cody and Captain Rex, and both of them appeared prepared for the task likely already set before them. “Master Plo will be joining us shortly,” announced the Jedi Master, a soothing tone to his voice, although he was momentarily distracted by Anakin. No doubt he was attempting to sense (Y/N) if only to make the search that little bit easier.
“She’s still on the planet, although making it difficult to track,” spoke Anakin, quickly determining she was likely using her own power to block him and anyone else who attempted to track her via the force.
“Sorry to interrupt; I’ve sent a message to her unit. One of them is a tracker,” called Cody, recalling working with the elite unit before. They were unpredictable but effective. They got the job done no matter how dangerous it was and always seemed to have fun while doing it; the more threat to life, the more competition there was between them. “They’re young and reckless, but they’re loyal to her.”
“What caused (Y/N) to run?” asked Ahsoka, noting that it was out of the ordinary for any Jedi to hide unless they were given the order to. Although even she would admit, (Y/N) did seem to have more freedoms than a normal Jedi Knight would. She got away with far more, including ignoring direct orders from the council, so much so they had come to expect it from her.
“The past, Snips,” replied Anakin, suspecting that Maul's recent reappearance had triggered memories and feelings she had spent over a decade trying to push away and bury. Brought the hurtful past, she’s tried to run from bubbling back to the surface. “For over a decade, she believed her father was gone, only for him to reappear and be on the warpath. She’s lost, conflicted, torn between who she was and who she wants to be,” he explained, knowing her trouble; he’d be the same if his mother suddenly came back from the dead. Like (Y/N), he hadn’t let go of his past; he couldn’t; instead, like her, he’d buried it.
“Either way, we must find her fast,” said Obi-Wan, recalling the recent council meeting. The latest intelligence had only brought forth concerning news. While Maul was on a revenge tour against those who wronged him in the past, Savage searched for (Y/N), no doubt, to reunite father and daughter again—or at least unite what remained of the bloodline. “We won’t be the only ones looking for her.”
“It would be best if we split into groups,” announced Plo upon his arrival, his voice calm and even as normal. “Commander Fox, go with Ahsoka and (Y/N)’s enhanced unit; search the lower levels around where she was last seen,” he added, suspecting (Y/N) would be far more open to being found by Ahsoka than any other Jedi. “Skywalker, take your captain and a small group of the 501st, search the underworld levels, Obi-Wan, the upper levels, around the old factories. I’ll take the Wolf pack and search her old hiding spots.”
“I don’t think I’ll be that much help, General,” voiced Wolffe, his miss-matched eyes downcast now. “I’m the reason she ran away in the first place. Me being involved in the search will only anger her further,” he added with regret flooding his voice; he could still remember the hope fading in her eyes; the image had all but burnt itself into his memory now as if a means to torment him further and punish him for his stupidity.
“On the contrary, Commander, you were the last person to see her, outside the civilians who offered tips to her whereabouts. Whether you hurt her or not doesn’t matter; finding her before she becomes any more vulnerable does,” spoke Plo, speaking as if a father rather than a Jedi. He knew (Y/N) had let her hurt, anger, and feelings of betrayal out on Wolffe, but he’d not be the sole reason for it. For years, she’d struggled with her past and overwhelming feelings; Wolffe’s words had just been the breaking point. “You are not to blame for (Y/N) going into hiding. I doubt she blames you, either.”
“We’ll rendezvous here in a few hours; in the meantime, keep in communication,” spoke Obi-Wan, suspecting the task at hand would be far more difficult than either of them wanted to admit. After all, few could sense how (Y/N) felt when she was a padawan; she had a unique ability to deflect her feelings and hide them by reflecting another’s emotions back at them; as for tracking her, even for the Jedi, that had been an impossible feat, although many had questioned whether her ability to block them was a natural Night Sister ability or a concerning dark side one.
“And if we find her?” questioned Ahsoka, suspecting the Jedi Knight wouldn’t come easily. (Y/N) had run for a reason; she’d hidden her struggles for so long many didn’t even see it until now when they were powerless to help her and when she appeared to be in far more danger with her vulnerability than even she realized.
“Try to convince her to return to the temple,” replied Anakin, even when he knew (Y/N) would refuse, even if Master Plo was the one who stood before her. “Only stun if necessary; just beware, (Y/N) is highly trained, and she will fight back,” cautiously added the Jedi Knight, recalling all the times the pair trained together growing up. Despite his skills in lightsaber combat, he’d never successfully defeated her in a duel, although he’d learned a fair bit.

The Gremlins and the Dark Arts
In this house, we favour the Dark Arts 😂😂
Here's my gremlins' thoughts on the Dark Arts plus their personal favourites and the potential fields of the Dark Arts they would eventually indulge in.
Sylvan
Tumblr media
He sees Dark Arts as a mere weapon to be used appropriately and strategically whenever the situation calls for it. Perfectly aware of the caveats of practicing the Dark Arts, Sylvan is willing to trade anything he has for the benefits the curses offer, provided he deems it a balanced exchange. The fact that he doesn't really believe in souls helps this decision-making since he has no fear of losing something he doesn't believe exists. Sylvan usually plays along with the people he loves, validating their opinion and being supportive all around if they say they believe in souls and destiny despite he personally thinks that those are utter nonsense. With this mindset, it is a given as he grows older, he will eventually dabble in necromancy. Corpses are just materials to him after all. Sylvan also believes that no knowledge is too dangerous and forbidden to be utilized in his life and that any sacrifices made in the process were worth the result. He has high trust and confidence in his logic and ability to think on his feet, believing that whatever Dark Arts he decided to use, was the best and most convenient option for the situation he was in. When it comes to the Unforgivable Curses, Sylvan absolutely loves all three of them and has no qualms in putting genuine intention while casting those curses. He thinks that Avada Kedavra is the holy grail of efficient and quick battle. As for Crucio and Imperio, he delights in how useful those curses are in getting the upper hand in combat. Since he operates on a mostly logical track, his mindset was if there comes a situation where the curses need to be cast on him or his loved ones, he would offer himself to be at the receiving end. Anyone else would be fair game, and there would be neither regret, guilt nor shame coming from him because those people clearly don't matter enough for him to offer himself to take the brunt of the curse
Sylvia
Tumblr media
She also operates similarly to Sylvan (they were meant to be the two versions of the same person after all 😆) and she also sees the Dark Arts as a mere weapon to be used appropriately and strategically whenever the situation calls for it. Though, she is far more careful when it comes to dealing with the caveats of the Dark Arts. Being practically yeeted across the multiverse from her cold abusive family to join Sylvan's warmer and loving family ended up changing her perspective on the existence of a higher being. She believes that meeting Sylvan was both a gift and a divine intervention, which consequently, caused her to believe in souls and destiny. Unlike her counterpart, Sylvia is constantly worrying over the impact using the Dark Arts would have on her own soul, hence the reason necromancy is an instant nope for her, even if it only involves animals because she thinks that it was disrespectful to the soul that once owned the corpse. When it comes to the Unforgivable Curses, she only uses them whenever she can't come up with any other options that fit the situation, and almost always avoids Avada Kedavra. The Killing Curse is always the last-ditch resort for Sylvia, only using it when she has to. Crucio is the curse she favours among the Unforgivable Curses, simply because she hates being crowded and overwhelmed; while Imperio feels too intrusive (she isn't fond of any form of mind-control) for her to be comfortable in using as frequently as she does Crucio, even to enemies.
Riz
Tumblr media
Riz is no stranger to the Dark Arts. Before migrating to England, his family is infamous in the area as the dark wizard family (complete with the standard inbreeding and muggle-hating supremacist of a typical pure-blooded wizard family of their time). He is fairly neutral and indifferent to the Dark Arts since he has far more invested interest in Muggles' science and technology development to bother caring much about the Dark Arts his family practices in. Riz is adept and skilled in the Dark Arts though, having been trained in them since young, spells and potions alike. He doesn't care much about them but finds them very convenient to his benefit. Though, he does grow genuine intrigue in Dark Arts after meeting Sylvan, who introduced him to the different Dark Arts of other cultures that Sylvan had encountered while travelling the world. Riz considers the Unforgivable Curses as a necessity for his well-being and survival. While his family assumes the myriad of conditions that the whole lineage of the family suffers is a bloodline curse, Riz is well aware that it actually comes from their broken genetics stemming from their family tradition. Due to his condition, he knows that he cannot afford to be thrown around in battle, as he wouldn't be able to feel the pain at all. If there's something that his healing charm and potions couldn't heal, he wouldn't be able to tell that something is wrong until it is too late. It is a risk that he is perfectly aware of, thus his preference for the Killing Curse. The risk of him getting an injury that he wouldn't be able to detect is significantly minimised if he killed his enemies first. He doesn't enjoy it nor does he feel any regret or guilt over using the curses. Riz knows that he wants to live, and the curses are his best survival strategy, so he is very indifferent when he uses them. The Unforgivable Curses are nothing more than a necessity for his survival similar to eating or drinking.
Mildred
Tumblr media
Mildred does not favour the Dark Arts at all. While she was able to understand Sylvan's and Sylvia's perspective on the Dark Arts as super useful weapons to have in their arsenal, as well as completely encourage Riz's constant use of Avada Kedavra for the sake of his safety, Mildred personally thinks that the curses are unnecessarily cruel and painful. As a result, she couldn't cast any of the Unforgivable Curses at all, unable to put genuine intention into it. When it comes to other forms of Dark Arts like necromancy, love potions, and voodoo, Mildred actually found them to be very interesting, although she will never approach them. She believes that all life has a role in this world and to disrupt the order of nature using the Dark Arts would invite bad karma into her life, which she would rather avoid. She doesn't judge and is fairly accepting of her peers who favour the Dark Arts, but Mildred is very firm in her opinion against dabbling into it herself. Once she has better control over the ancient magic, she starts favouring those instead as it provides quick and easy deaths to her foes.

re that au where au!tom yeets himself into canon - so you said harry would be happy to ignore the, uh, particular brand of obsessed tom's got going with him. but what about everyone else's (who knows his real identity) reaction to that? like harry's friends (I imagine tom would be using every opportunity to push them away so he can hang out with harry alone), the rest of the order, dumbledore (who i assume trusts him about as much as you can trust a dementor to not snack on your soul), the other death eaters, or even canon!voldemort
oh ho ho
Harry knows, after the initial confusion and fear and disgust and rage are cycled through, that the presence of a different Tom Riddle at his side is not accepted but for the moment tolerated.
The Order, Dumbledore, are too soldier-like to disregard what an asset Riddle will be in this fight -
(war, a part of Harry corrects, because even if he's never experienced it on such a scale, every day of his life has been a battle and he knows, bone-deep, what the beat of drums on the horizon means)
and that if the only thing guaranteeing his compliance is access to Harry then they will do it. Because Harry has always been more tool than person in their eyes, more symbol than boy.
And it's not even that Harry particularly minds being given up like a sacrifice, an appeasement, an offering because that's what he's spent his whole life being moulded into, isn't it? Someone to lay down his life for others, someone to take the hits, someone to draw the ire and attention of the most dangerous man in the world so that others could spin their plans on the side.
He's honestly not even surprised when they agree to let Riddle stay with him.
His friends don't understand his ease with the situation. They don't think he's in the right headspace to know what he's agreeing to (don't trust me, Harry thinks, a little bitter, a little sad). Ginny, in particular, is wroth at the Order's decision. She rages, she spits, she cries - because the young man standing at Harry's shoulder shares the face of the boy she had put her faith in and been violated by, been betrayed by, and it's not fair to ask Harry to go through that too.
Hermione and Ron are more quiet in their disagreement, their anger on Harry's behalf a simmering but ever-present force. They don't like Riddle, don't trust him, don't want him near their friend, but Harry is unmoving and the more time he spends with Riddle the less weight their voices seem to hold and they're scared.
Voldemort, on his part, is at first frustrated and then curious. He shares a mental link with Harry, after all, and the more glimpses he gets of his other self - of the things he says to Harry, of how masterfully he brings the boy under his purview, of the subtle influences he imposes that always, always lead to impressive growth in Harry - the more he begins to understand just why a version of Tom Riddle would leap dimensions to find another Harry Potter.
The Death Eaters are more confused than anything, but the ones that cross paths with Harry more often? The ones that find themselves on the end of his wand more and more? They're the ones that begin to see. That know -
Harry Potter is shifting. Slowly, incrementally, he's sliding away from being a paragon of Light propaganda and is becoming more...open-minded. His spells drift more towards maim than subdue. Curses roll of his tongue without hesitation. His magic, just as fierce as ever, has a certain flavour to it now, some mix of Dark and Light that is bewitching to see.
And when he rages how beautifully it swirls.
Tom is...content for the most part. Under his guidance Harry has begun to shake some of the more unappealing traits he's been forced to cultivate over the years. He's more assertive, more confident, more in control. Proactive rather than reactive. Stable rather than teetering on the edge of destruction.
Harry's no use to Tom if he can't stand up to him, after all. What good is a balancing influence that fails at balancing?

YGO ask here: Have you ever noticed that there is an interesting scale of contrast between Yugi, Bakura and Marik in relation to their ''other selves''?
I noticed Puzzleshipping represents the positive end of the spectrum, with Yugi and Atem's relationship being benefitial to each other in a supportive way as they both grow as people with their bond.
Meanwhile, Bakura and Yami Bakura are in the middle spectrum, as the later does protect his host, however he's also much more controlling and abusive, only protecting the former purely out of self preservation.
And in the other end of the spectrum there's Marik and Yami Marik, with both violently fighting for control with no cooperation it all, there can only be one.
I just found this contrast really interesting and I can't believe I only noticed it recently.
This thrills me, I still love Yugioh so much lol
You're definitely not the only one that's noticed it, though I'd argue Marik and Yami Marik are something of an exception to the rule given that Yami Marik is not a disembodied spirit haunting the Millennium Rod but a legitimate alternate personality of Marik himself. It's not outright stated in canon, but it's very heavily implied that Marik has Dissociative Identity Disorder, so it's a very different situation to Yugi/Atem and Bakura/Yami Bakura. The relationship between Marik and Yami Marik is fundamentally different, as Marik is both unaware of Yami Marik's presence for the majority of the story, and Yami Marik only exists as an extension of Marik's anger and trauma. Because he exists to hold all of that anger, he's a violently dangerous personality. He's a separate individual, but still connected to Marik and his history and trauma. I do think Yami Marik sees himself as the stronger personality and the one who deserves to have control of their body because he still sees Marik as the weak, scared child that he was at the time of Yami Marik's creation- and that is unacceptable to Yami Marik. I think he thinks that if he kills off the original Marik (and Atem and anyone else who gets in his way), then that represents some kind of victory over their shared past.
I've written before about why I think Yugioh's depiction of DID is pretty problematic, but that's a separate issue. Still I recommend checking that out if you're interested in more of my thoughts about Marik and Yami Marik.
Yugi and Atem only get explicitly paralleled with this toxic dynamic during the final duel between Atem and Yami Marik, and the differences between them are clear- Atem and Yugi constantly worry for and try to protect each other, and the two Mariks don't care if the other dies at all. And actively try to kill each other lol.
But the Bakuras and Yugi/Atem's relationships definitely function as a contrast to each other and I think it was a real misstep of the story to not explore that further. The Bakuras barely interact with each other in either the manga or anime. We see Yami Bakura actively intervening to protect Bakura once, and it was only because the life of their shared body was in danger. I think there's maybe one other time we see them directly interacting, and it's in the opening of season five and Bakura is obviously distressed and scared of Yami Bakura. At pretty much every other point in the story, Yami Bakura seems to treat Bakura as incidental. He cares for Bakura in so far as he needs Bakura's body, and that kind of seems to be the beginning and the end of it from his point of view.
From Bakura's side of that dynamic, we barely see anything. Bakura is one of the most criminally underutilized characters in the entire story and it really shows in that we just don't have a strong sense of how he feels about Yami Bakura's presence. He seems to be attached to the Millennium Ring and yet also seems to fear it. That thing keeps getting yeeted from him and yet he always seems to find it again. Why? How? The story never answers these questions, and never seems interested in exploring why Bakura might want the Ring (and Yami Bakura) with him despite all the horrors. This relationship could have been so compelling, it could have been this toxic, co-dependent push-pull between them, but alas. I think it comes across as a neutral dynamic because the story ignored that it never should have been a neutral dynamic in the first place.
The most interesting thing the story ever does with the Bakuras dynamic is position them as a foil to Yugi and Atem for like, one chapter of the manga/one episode of the anime. But I do think it's interesting that Atem has a brief moment of fearing that he might be like Yami Bakura in some ways, using Yugi's body as his vessel.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
no I didn't go find these screenshots just to highlight how good the puzzleshipping dynamic is why would you say that
But Yugi assures him like, immediately, that it's different because he knows that Atem is protecting him. Yugi understands implicitly that, while their situation is kind of similar in that the Bakuras also share a body, it's very different for one simple reason:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(It harms me physically how Atem is always visibly shocked whenever Yugi expresses even the slightest bit of affection towards him T_T)
Yugi makes it very clear that he wants to be there for Atem, and while he wants to get stronger for himself and for his friends, part of that drive to become stronger is for Atem too. There's a level of trust that, at this point in the story, Yugi extends to Atem effortlessly. He doesn't question their bond, even when Atem wonders how worthy of it he is.
What makes this hit so different is how earned that bond is when you look at the entire story, including the manga arcs/season 0. Because Atem didn't exactly start off as a particularly benevolent entity, and there legitimately was a time when Yugi was terrified of him and the things he was doing. It wasn't until Duelist Kingdom, after the duels with Kaiba and Pegasus, that they both really learned to work together and appreciate the aspects of each other that make up for the things they lack. Yugi's kindness softens Atem's sharper edges, and Atem's strength gives Yugi courage.
So anyways, I guess the most interesting thing about the parallel between the Bakuras and the Yugis is this little glimpse it gives us into Atem's fears about himself (that he really is some sort of evil entity and just a parasite to Yugi) and how much Yugi just doesn't buy into that at all, and won't let Atem dwell on that thought too much either.
and then season four happens

just a jimon thing my brain came up with in a rare moment of lucidity
Jace was known for his recklessness. Despite pretending to be oblivious to it, Jace was well aware that he tended to run into things head first. Which is kinda weird, because when Alec says We’re Lightwoods. We break noses and accept the consequences its inspirational. But when Jace actually does it, its reckless, and suicidal, and immature.
And....well when Jace allows himself a rare moment of clarity he can acknowledge that he’s a little reckless, and maybe a tad bit immature. But suicidal? Maybe, but not in the way people think. Jace doesn’t take the most dangerous missions because he has a death wish.....mostly. Death isn’t on his mind when he runs in front of Simon to take the hit from the demon. Really. Whenever he gets into situations like this, sprawled on the ground, and not even in a sexy way his brain distantly adds, the last thing on his mind is Death.
You either live long enough to see yourself become a villain, or die a hero. Over and over and over in his head, like a movie that never stops. In spite of his parabatai’s best efforts, he can’t seem to shake Valentine’s hold on him. He was his father in all the ways that matter but shouldn’t and he can’t let himself become like Valentine. He can’t. So yes, he acts like his flesh and angel blood are an adamis shield against everything bad in the world. He doesn’t want to die. Not really. Not yet. Not when he has the cutest Daylighter to play video games with on the weekend.
But as much as he loves Simon. And wow, isn’t that a revelation to have sitting in a pool of blood. As much as he loves Simon, he loves being remebered as good more. His intentions have been muddled, between the mixed messages from the Clave and his family, Jace knows that people don’t know how to feel about him. He feels it in the way they keep him at arms length. Far away enough that if he turns, they won’t be at fault for associating with him. But just close enough that if he ever ends up proving his worth they won’t be condemned with ostracizing him. It’s exhausting.
Jace doesn’t want them to still be guessing when he’s in his grave.
He groans as he feels cold hands pick him up and carry him to what must be a portal. Jace feels slightly unsettled because he doesn’t hear Simon breathing. Jace chooses to ignore it, because if he’s going to spend his last moments in his crush’s arms he’ll be damned if he spends it worrying about why Simon isn’t breathing. He figures that Simon’s allowed to break from his normal behavior. It’s not like he carries Jace around bridal style on a daily basis either.
~break~
Jace wakes up in the infirmary. He looks at the stars, and sees them dim before his eyes as the realization that he’s alive hits him, and yeah maybe Jace needs to reexamine his not suicidal thing. Jace thinks that he’s alone, which is why when he moves to get out of bed to make the long and probably painful trek to his room he’s surprised when someone stops him.
“Simon?”
The Daylighter was at his bedside looking down at him with the most torn expression he’s ever seen. His eyes glinted with determination while his face had red residue from his dried tears.
“Jace.”
Jace looks at Simon for a long moment as silence stretches between them. Simon seemed to be steeling himself to say something important but Jace was still stuck on how Simon had said his name. When was the last time someone had said his name as a sentence? Like everything he was could be encompassed by his name, and that was enough. He was enough. Jace’s last remaining braincell reminded him that everyone used his name as a sentence; and the only reason why it was different when Simon said it was because he was in love and possibly still riding the highs of pain medication. Jace heard heard Simon’s soft intake of breath, and prepared himself for whatever he was about to say.
“Jace, I-....I don’t know how to say this but I’m just gonna say it and maybe, hopefully this makes sense. You scared me today, Jace. Well, you kinda scare me everyday but today was different. Seeing you lying on the ground half-dead.....all to protect me. It was terrifying. A-and not because it was a lot of blood, but because the thought losing you makes me feels like im back in the grave again, wondering whether I’ll ever get out. And I know it shouldn’t affect me like this, since I’ve known you for months now, and I should be used to it, but fuck Jace I don’t want to be! You’ve been a soldier all your life. Fighting is in your blood so I know, that you know how to save someone without putting your life on the line. And I can’t watch someone I care about constantly put themselves in danger like this.”
Jace felt his heart break at those words and tried to mentally prepare himself for another person to walk out of his life. Obviously Simon’s monologue wasn’t enough torture because Jace could hear him gearing up to say something else.
“Which is exactly why, you need to tell me why you keep on acting like you’re an invincible punching bag, so that I can fix it. And I can ensure that I still have someone to beat in Mario Kart.”
Jace snorted, “Good to know that you have your priorities straight and my best interests at heart.”
“Always sweetheart, always.” And if Jace’s heart fluttered at the pet name, that’s nobody damn business but his own.
“Anyways, Jace chop chop! I mean you don’t have to tell me. Right now that is. But it’s either me or Alec and I know he’s your parabatai and all but he can be really dense when it comes to listening and helping people with things like this.”
Jace grumbled but he couldn’t deny that Simon was right. He loved Alec, but he has a hard time with sensitive subjects. Jace still shudders about the conversation Alec tried to have with him about Celine’s mental health history. Jace decided to just suck it up and tell Simon. It’s not like he has anything to lose, and he doubts anything he’ll share with Simon will ruin his perception of him. He knows to keep the darkest parts of himself hidden. He’s just sharing his thought process, right? He’s not revealing anything, its just simply a matter of logic. No one wants to be remebered in a bad light.
So he tells Simon that. He tells him how he feels cold, like he’s always on the outskirts of living in Valentine’s shadow, and there’s not many ways to redeem yourself in the Shadow world. Not when you messed up as much as Jace did.
He doesn’t expect Simon to hug him. He tells Jace that what people think of him doesn’t matter.
“And Jace, I don’t know if you noticed, but I’m immortal. Trust me when I say that I’ll make sure that everyone remebers you for the great person you are.”
Jace can’t deal with the overload of comfort from Simon, but decides that he’ll try to enjoy it anyways because it’s not everyday he gets held by the love of his life.
Simon gently lays them down, mindful of the bandages around Jace’s midsection and tucks them both under the covers. Jace snuggles into Simon’s side, still sort of convinced that this is a drug addled dream because why else would Simon be so nice? When has a conversation about his behavior gone this well? Jace refuses to believe that this is real, because if it is then Jace will get used to this. Used to having someone be there for him. And eventually he will get hurt again, and Jace is just beginning to find his footing after everything that’s happened. So for now he closes his eyes and settles against Simon’s back. He tries to tell himself that this doesn’t mean anything, and that Simon cares about him as a friend and nothing more. Jace will take what he can get, and besides, friend cuddles aren’t all that bad.

Hi! Can i have hcs of Malleus, Idia,Vil and Azul with a darling s/o who have ice powers like elsa?
yeet guys- Let's go-
Hope you enjoy! ^^
TWST S/o has ice powers
Malleus Draconia
Something about you radiated...
coldness.
Not as in your personality (or maybe-)
But something felt... icy?
And he suspected you possessed something in your hands.
Because you wear gloves.
Though, some students do wear gloves-
And he suspected much.
So you possess ice manipulation abilities,
how neat!
You are quite self conscious of your ice powers though,
you can’t really control them, and you don’t want to unintentionally hurt others.
So he takes it upon himself to teach you.
He’s one of the top five wizards of the world (sort of-), what makes you think he can’t help you?
He’s like an adorable kid whenever you make snowflakes with your ice hands-
he sticks out his tongue to taste the snowflakes-
JDDJJDJDG HE’S ADORABLE-
But, honestly, with or without ice powers,
you’re still his precious little beastie~
But if you could maybe make snowmen with him
DVHDHDJHDJ-
HE LOVES SNOWMEN NOW <3
Azul Ashengrotto
Why are you always wearing gloves??
I mean,
he’s not prying on anything, he wears gloves himself,
but he doesn’t wear them for broom classes, or on any normal day at NRC and not in his dorm.
Well, if you don’t feel like sharing, he doesn’t mind.
He’ll just ponder why sometimes.
Only when you were comfortable to share with him,
he now knows you have ice powers!
That’s very cool!
get it?-
did I make you cringe? Hchchdjdhj-
Though, you do feel a little insecure about them, however.
You can’t control them too well,
and you fear they might go out of control
and put others in danger.
He reassures you that it’s alright,
and that he knows you won’t mean it.
He’s not the best, but he’ll try his very best to help you learn how to control those ice powers of yours!
In the meantime, I like to think Azul always wanted to see snow.
Being in the sea, you don’t get to see snow.
So he gets to see all the pretty snowflakes you create. It’s so pretty!
No matter what, you are always his s/o. You are precious to him regardless of your ice powers <3
Idia Shroud
HDBHDBDBHD-
THAT’S KINDA COOL-
WAIT, HAVE YOU SEEN THIS ONE ANIME HE WATCHES-
THERE’S THIS COOL CHARACTER LIKE YOU SGUDGYUDUYD-
At first, he doesn’t know.
But he always finds it kinda weird you wear gloves everywhere you go.
I mean, he’s not judging,
He probably cosplays a lot in school in his room of course
Hatsune Miku-
HAS ANYONE SEEN THAT FANART ON TUMBLR- JDHDD-
But once he finds out,
he’s geeking out.
He’s quite empathetic with your insecurities.
About you not being able to control your ice powers and such.
And you fear if they got out of control, you could put others in dreadful situations.
Although he’s not too good in his words,
most of the time he’s muttering to himself,
he tries his best to reassure you it’s okay.
It’s the thought that counts, right?
Absolutely-
But lets get that negative energy out of the way for now.
SNOW CONES!
So many snow cones.
He has an ice shaving machine thing. The penguin one.
You cannot change my mind.
Just add a bunch of topics and BOOM- SNOW CONES-
But, with or without snow cones, you’re his number one <3

scum villain is a greek tragedy disguised as a regular tragedy disguised as a comedy disguised as a danmei
this is going to be long, and this is only PART ONE.
a.k.a, Analysing the plot of Scum Villain’s Self Saving System through Aristotle’s Poetics, because I Have Mental Issues
Part One: Introduction and the Tragic Hero
Scum Villain’s Self Saving System is a tragedy disguised as a comedy, unless you’re Shen Yuan, in which case it’s a mixture of a romance and a survival horror. It's a fever dream. It's a horrible, terrible book that made me feel new undiscovered emotions when I finished reading it.
The thing is... SVSSS shares characteristics with some of the most famous tragedies in the West, such as Oedipus Rex, Medea, Antigone, the Oresteia... if you haven’t read these, I’ll explain everything. But the gist of my argument is this: SVSSS is the perfect tragedy. In triplicate.
Tragedy as a genre is old as balls and so it has meant slightly different things to different people over the last few thousand years. I'll be focusing on ancient Greek tragedy, which was performed at the yearly Festival of Dionysus in Athens during the 500-350s BC (give or take a hundred years). Aristotle, when writing about this very specific subset of tragedy, had no idea that one day Scum Villain would be written, and then that I would be using his work as a way to look at Shen Qingqiu’s Funky Transmigration Mistake. Anyway!
Greek tragedy greatly influenced European dramatic tradition. I have a lot of opinions about white academics idolising and upholding the classics as the "paragon of culture" but I'll withhold them for now. I have no idea if MXTX has read Greek tragedy or not, so don't take this as me saying they are writing it.
In my opinion, tragedy is a universal human constant. We are surrounded by pain and hurt and none of it makes any sense, so we seek to process that pain through drama, art, literature, etc. We want to understand why pain happens, and how it happens, and try to make sense of the senseless. The universe is cold and cruel and random. Tragedy eases some of that pain.
On that note: Just because I am analysing Scum Villain through a Greek lens doesn't mean that it was written that way. I'm pasting an interpretation onto the book when there's probably a very rich and deep history of Chinese tragedy that I just don't know about. If you ever want to talk about that, please, god, hit me up, I would love to learn about it!!
Anyway, tragedy. MXTX is excellent at it! Mo Dao Zu Shi? Painful dynastic family tragedy. Heaven Official's Blessing? Mostly romance, but she managed to get that pure pain in there, huh?
But in my opinion, Scum Villain holds the crown for the most tragic of her stories. MDZS was more of a mystery. TGCF was more of a romance. Neither of them shy away from their tragic elements.
Scum Villain would fit right in between the work of Sophocles, Euripides and Aeschylus. How? Let me show you. Join me on my mystery tour into the world of "Aristotle Analyses Danmei..."
Part One: The Tragic Hero
What is a tragic hero? Generally, Greek tragic heroes are united by the same key characteristics. He must be imperfect, having a "fatal flaw" of some kind. He must have something to lose. And he must go from fortune to misfortune thanks to that fatal flaw.
There are two (technically three) tragic protagonists in SVSSS and all of them are tragic in different but formulaic ways. Each protagonist has their own version of “hamartia” or a “fatal flaw”.
Actually, hamartia isn’t necessarily a flaw - rather, it is a thing which makes the audience pity and fear for them, a careful imperfection, a point of weakness in the character’s morality or reasoning that allows for bad things to happen to them. For example, in Oedipus Rex, the king Oedipus has a “fatal flaw” of always wanting to find the truth, but this isn’t exactly a flaw, right? Note: this flaw can be completely unwitting, as we see with Shen Yuan. It can also be something that the protagonist is born with, some kind of trait from birth or very young.
Shen Yuan
Shen Yuan’s “hamartia” is his rigid adherence to fate and his inability to read a situation as anything but how he thinks it ought to be. He believes that Bingmei will grow into Bingge, and it takes several years, two deaths, and some truly traumatising sex to convince him otherwise.
Shen Jiu
Shen Jiu’s fatal flaw is his cruelty. It is his own sadistic treatment and abuse of Binghe which directly leads to his eventual dismemberment. This is kind of a no-brainer. Of course, it isn't all that simple, and as an audience we pity him for his cruelty as much as we fear it because we know it comes from his own abuse as a child. This just makes him even more tragic. Delicious.
Luo Binghe
Luo Binghe’s fatal flaw is a complicated mix of things. It is his position as the “protagonist” which compels him to act in certain ways and be forced to suffer. It is his half-demonic heritage, something entirely out of his control, which sets in motion his tragic reversal of fortune when he gets yeeted into the Abyss. He also, much like Shen Yuan, has the propensity to jump to conclusions and somehow make 2 + 2 = 5.
As well as having their respective “flaws”, all three protagonists match the rough outline of a good tragic hero in another way: they are in a position of great wealth and power. Even when you split the different characters into different “versions”, this still holds true. Yes, Luo Binghe is raised a commoner by a washerwoman foster mother, but his dad is an emperor and he also ends up becoming an emperor himself.
Yes, Shen Jiu is an ex-slave and a victim of abuse himself, but Shen Qingqiu is a powerful peak lord with an entire mountain’s worth of resources at his back.
Shen Yuan is a second generation new money rich kid.
Bingge is a stereotypical protagonist with a golden finger. Bingmei is a treasured and loved disciple with a good reputation and a privileged seat by his shizun’s side.
In a tragedy, having this kind of good fortune at the beginning of your story is dangerous. Chaucer says that tragedy is (badly translated into modern english) “a certain story / of him that stood in great prosperity / and falls out of high degree / into misery, and ends up wretchedly”. If we follow this line of thinking, a good tragedy is about someone who has a lot to lose, losing everything because of one fatal point of weakness that they fail to address or understand.
If we look at Shakespeare, this is what makes King Lear such a fantastic tragic protagonist. He is a king in control of most of England, who from his own lack of wisdom and excess of pride, decides to split his kingdom apart to give to his daughters, favouring his murderous, double crossing progeny, and condemning his only actually filial daughter to death. He loses his kingdom, his mind, and his beloved daughter, all because of his own stupidity.
This brings us to:
Part Two: Peripeteia
This reversal of fortunes is called peripeteia. It is the moment where the entire plot shifts, and the hero’s fortunes go from good to bad. Think of it like one of those magic eye puzzles, where you stare at the image until a 3D shark appears, except you realise the shark was always there, you just couldn't ever see it, waiting for you, hungry, deadly, always lurking just behind that delightful pattern of random blue squiggles.
Each tragic hero has their own moment of peripeteia in SVSSS, sometimes several:
Shen Qingqiu
In the original PIDW, SQQ’s peripeteia presumably occurs when he finds out that Bingge didn’t perish in the Abyss but has actually been training hard to come and pay him back. There’s really not much I’m interested in saying here - as a villain, OG!SQQ is cut and dry, and the audience doesn’t really feel any pity or fear for him. As Shen Yuan often mentions, what the audience feels when they see OG!SQQ is bloodlust and sick satisfaction. There is also the trial at Huan Hua Palace, which I will talk about in Shen Yuan’s section.
Shen Yuan (SQQ 2.0)
One of SY’s most poggers moment of peripeteia is the glorious, terrifying section between hearing Binghe for the first time after the Abyss moment, and getting shoved into the Water Prison.
“Behind him, a low and soft voice came: “Shizun?”
Shen Qingqiu’s neck felt stiff as he slowly turned his head. Luo Binghe’s face was the most frightening thing he had ever seen.
The scariest thing about it was that the expression on his face was not cold at all. His smile wasn’t sharp like a knife. Rather, it showed a kind of bone-deep gentleness and amiability.”
This is the moment of true horror for Shen Yuan, because he knows what happens next: the plot unfurls before him, inevitable and painful, and he knows that death awaits him at Luo Binghe's hands (lol). Compare it with the bone deep certainty with which he faces his own downfall during the sham of a trial later in the chapter (I’ve bolded the important part):
“In the original work, Qiu Haitang’s appearance signified only one thing: Shen Qingqiu’s complete fall from grace. [...] Shen Qingqiu’s heart streamed with tears. Great Master… I know you’re doing this for my own good, but I’ll actually suffer if she speaks her words clearly. This truly is the saying “not frightened of doing a shameful deed, just afraid the ghost (consequences) will come knocking”!”
After the peripeteia is usually the denouement where the plot wraps up and the threads are all tied together leaving no loose ends, but because this tragedy isn’t Shen Yuan’s but the former Shen Jiu’s, it’s impossible to finish.
Shen Yuan cannot provide the meaningful answers that the narrative demands because 1) he doesn’t have any memory of doing anything, and 2) he wasn’t the person who did them. Narratively, he cannot follow the same path as the former SQQ because he lacks the same fatal flaw: cruelty.
This is why Binghe doesn’t kill him - because he loves him, rather than despises him. And this is why Shen Yuan has to sacrifice himself and die for Luo Binghe in order to save him from Xin Mo: because the narrative demands that denouement follows peripeteia, and SQQ’s fate is in the hands of the narrative.
(Side note: I believe that this literal death also represents the death of OG!SQQ's tragic arc. The body that committed all those crimes must die to satisfy the narrative. SQQ must die, like burning down a forest, so that new growth can sprout from the ashes. After this, Shen Yuan's story has more room to develop instead.)
It must happen to show Bingmei that SQQ loves him too. And this brings us to Bingmei.
Bingmei
Bingmei has two succinct moments of utter downfall. The first is a literal fall - his flaw, his demonic heritage, leads his beloved shizun to throw him down into the Abyss. From his point of view, SQQ is punishing him simply for the status of his birth. He rapidly goes from being loved and cherished unconditionally, to being the victim of an assassination attempt.
He realises that he is totally unlovable: that for the crimes of his species that he never had a hand in, he must pay the price as well: that his shizun is so righteous that no matter what love there was between them, if SQQ sees a demon, he will kill it. Even if that demon is Bingmei.
The second moment is when SQQ dies for him. Again, from his point of view, he was chasing after a man who was struggling to see him as a human being. Shen Qingqiu’s death makes Bingmei realise that he has been completely misunderstanding his shizun: that SQQ would literally die for him, the ultimate act of self sacrifice from love: that SQQ loved him despite his demon heritage.
Much like King Lear holding the corpse of his daughter and wailing in sheer grief and pain because he did this, he caused this, Bingmei gets to hold his shizun's cold body and cry his eyes out and know that it was his fault. (Kind of.)
(Yes, I’m bringing Shakespeare into this, no I am not justifying myself)
Maybe I'm a bit sadistic, but that scene slaps. Let me show you a comparison of scenes so you get the picture.
Re-enter KING LEAR, with CORDELIA dead in his arms; EDGAR, Captain, and others following
KING LEAR
Howl, howl, howl, howl! O, you are men of stones:
Had I your tongues and eyes, I'ld use them so
That heaven's vault should crack. She's gone for ever!
I know when one is dead, and when one lives;
She's dead as earth. Lend me a looking-glass;
If that her breath will mist or stain the stone,
Why, then she lives.
[...]
 KING LEAR
And my poor fool is hang'd! No, no, no life!
Why should a dog, a horse, a rat, have life,
And thou no breath at all? Thou'lt come no more,
Never, never, never, never, never!
Pray you, undo this button: thank you, sir.
Do you see this? Look on her, look, her lips,
Look there, look there!
Dies
Versus this scene in SVSSS:
Luo Binghe turned a deaf ear to everything else, greatly agitated and at a loss of what to do. He was still holding Shen Qingqiu’s body, which was rapidly cooling down. It seemed like he wanted to call for him loudly and forcefully shake him awake, yet he didn’t dare to, as if he was afraid of being scolded. He said slowly, “Shizun?”
[...]
Luo Binghe involuntarily held Shen Qingqiu closer.
He said in a small voice, “I was wrong, Shizun, I really… know that I was wrong.
“I… I didn’t want to kill you…”
PAIN. SO MUCH BEAUTIFUL PAIN. Yes, I know Shakespeare isn’t Athenian, but he was inspired by the good old stuff and he also knew how to write a perfect tragedy on his own terms. Anyway. I’ll find more Greek examples later.
This post was a bit all over the place, but I hope it has been fun to read. Part Two will be coming At Some Point, Who Knows When. This is a bit messy and unedited, but hey, I’m not getting paid or graded, so you can eat any typos or errors. Unless you’re here to talk to me about Chinese tragedy, in which case, please pull up a seat, let me get you a drink, make yourself at home.
ps: if you want to retweet this, here is the promo tweet!

So this was buzzing around my brain last night. Season 11 AU.
What if we see Amara have more of a game plan. We know she wants Dean and at the end of the day he should be one with her. The destruction of everything is happening. And she knows that Dean keeps holding himself back, particularly because his bond to Cas. And we already know that year, Amara is bent out of shape about that. So in this AU Amara tries to make things easier for Dean and tries to pull apart their bond by resurrecting Meg. Now the dramatic irony is that Cas just said yes to Lucifer about then.
Meg by nature picks a cause and sticks to it. I'd imagine she'd be trying to gauge Amara's entire purpose and plan. She's smart enough to follow through on Amara's initial orders and then hightails it out of there. Amara doesn't give a shit about Demons. Now Meg wouldn't have any issues that her mission is to find Cas. She likes Cas. Now finding him possessed by Lucifer was not anywhere near the ballpark she was expecting. It's almost a two birds one stone situation for a hot second. But quickly we see (and this is a way to explain how fucking cartoony bucklemming made Lucifer in comparison to Edlund's Lucifer) that Lucifer is soooo not the same this time around. We lean into his true form looks like SHIT. Him and Michael must've shredded each other in the cage. And she's quickly not impressed with who she sees never mind she's in danger because Lucifer knows too much about her time with Cas. So she's playing a dangerous game. But the bright side is that Crowley is a prisoner and now she can get sweet revenge.
Eventually she does slip out and tracks down the Winchesters. And Dean isn't happy that she's back. He certainly doesn't trust her because Amara clearly has more up her sleeve. Who else is she gonna bring back to fuck with them? Sam listens more to Meg's argument that she can work as a double agent. They need her and her loyalty certainly isn't with Amara. Sam is appreciative of her intel on Lucifer. Dean ends up pissed asking about Crowley, and so him and Meg argue over that... At least what they agree on is saving Cas and stopping Amara.
We still have the attempt to convince Cas to eject Lucifer like in the show. Meg helps them set up and plan but then she bounces. Maintaining her positions with Lucifer and Amara are too important to blow now. Always need a back up plan. When it fails and Amara takes off with Lucifer, Dean has to call Meg and tell her how it backfired. It's time to think of a plan B. She has one, but Sam is gonna be pissed.
The plan is that she can find out where Amara is keeping him, but they still need to separate Lucifer from Cas. Lucifer isn't gonna give up a vessel that can hold him this long. And Sam isn't gonna say yes. They also still need Lucifer for the Amara fight. And that only leaves them with 1 strong enough vessel that he might entertain: Dean, the Michael Sword. It's not perfect but might be close enough. Bonus motivation is that Amara won't/can't hurt Dean. So he makes for a strategic shield in battle. So they secretly work together to set this in motion and it ultimately sends Cas and Sam into a RAGE.
When shit goes down Amara gets annoyed immediately and separates Dean and Lucifer. Yeets Lucifer away.

Aight so how are the teachers in this evil AU? Are they like
Does Sam actually practice necromancy or
Because that's my biggest concern right now. Sam doing some weird ass voodo shit with the students because hey, lungs and hearts sell a lot on the black market ya know?
Is crewel somewhat mentally sane? Does he yeet the students he doesn't like into the cauldron??
Actually does Vargas yeet the students across the football pitch to stop them from killing each other?
Do they even have classes?? I mean the students skip right?? Because who is sane enough to go to school willingly here-
Tumblr media
God, the staff are no saviours that’s for sure!
Both ideas work really well for Sam, especially since students can’t leave campus he’s their only source for anything and everything they require. It doesn’t matter what you need, he can find it for a price, a body part, an organ? He’s got some spare! An illegal book on hexes? He can find one in a matter of days! He always has a world supply on clothing cleaning items, it’s his bread and butter with how many bloodstains the students get! And of course, his voodoo and necromancy work well with situations where students, especially the innocents are killed too early. Sometimes a dorm may appeal to him to bring someone back if they find them interesting enough for them, and who is he to refuse such a request!
As little as they get on, Trein and Crewel are adement on one thing that they both agree on. Discipline. However they go about this in different ways, Crewel uses harsher, more physical means, whipping, shock collars, shoving your face into something that you’ve done incorrectly, pinning you to the floor with his foot, grabbing you by the throat. Whereas Trein tears people down using emotionally and mentally destructive tactics, sometimes mixed with older fashioned punishment through ancient curses for those who’re particularly stubborn, but he’s skilled at tearing down self esteem no matter the personality of the student he’s dealing with, his words are nowhere near as bad as his spells, but he will do whatever it takes to keep control and power over the students.
Vargas is great at stopping fights when it becomes necessary read when he feels like it. But his means of doing so are...violent. If they’re going to fight, they need to make sure they’re strong, and if they’re strong they should be able to take him on! They rarely are, and his unbearable smugness isn’t concealed when he beats the student(s) into unconsciousness, before he laughs it off and tells them to ‘train harder’ as if they can hear him. Most people know he’s in reality just looking for a fight, even if it’s with a student, his superiority complex won’t accept losing, and he’s willing to cause huge amounts of physical damage to students, including throwing them into walls and buildings, slamming them into the ground, throwing them into trees with enough strength to shatter them, there are rumours that some have died to their injuries...
Crowley’s not so much physically abusive, but he is most certainly painfully, disgustingly negligent. He runs the place and allows these atrocious crimes to happen, he employs these dangerous teachers and encourages the violence, he ignores the begs of the innocents to go home, to help them, he just dismisses them with a smile. He doesn’t care about anyone but himself, what he wants he gets, anyone else be damned.
Classes do technically exist in it, it is still a college after all. They don’t have to attend, but pissing off the staff isn’t the greatest idea if you don’t want to die, doesn’t mean there aren’t those that skip class regularly, but the staff are as horrific as the students for a reason!

May I request scenarios of Diasomnia and Pomefiore taking care of their child s/o? Sort of similar to the one you did for when Silver, Rook, Kalim etc being turned into children ❤️❤️❤️
Hope you will enjoy it~! ❤️❤️❤️
Tumblr media
🐲 Malleus thought nothing could surprise him anymore in his long life, yet when he saw your small form, he had to admit he hasn’t expect you to turn into a child anytime soon,
🐲 tries and will find a solution quicker than Crewel or Crowley,
🐲 at first, Malleus is lost. The whole situation is new to him and he doesn’t really know how he should take care of you or what he could be doing with you, until you get back to your normal form,
🐲 he did ask Lilia for help,
,,Y’N, what would you want to do?” ,,You’re a prince” “Yes, indeed” “Teach me how to dance”
🐲 Malleus furrowed his eyebrows, a bit taken aback with your sudden request, but soon a soft smile graced his lips. You were truly adorable as a child and he absolutely wouldn’t refuse you anything,
🐲 needless to say, you stomped on his feet a lot,
🐲he carries you on his shoulders almost all the time and you refuse to get down from them. You just wanted to touch his horns, but you really liked the feeling of being so tall and the view up there was truly amazing,
Tumblr media
🦇 the only one who actually knows what he’s doing,
🦇 at first, Lilia gets a bit emotional, as all those fond memories he had created with Silver when he used to be a child flooded him. You two ended up looking at pictures from Silver’s childhood,
🦇 won’t stop cooing how adorable you are and he will certainly take a million of pictures much to your dismay (enough to create a whole album just with the photos from two days you spent as a child)
🦇 Lilia saw this a perfect opportunity to cook especially for you. Before this ancient fae burnt a whole kitchen down or accidentally poisoned you, Silver appeared with edible food and saved you from Lilia’s questionable dishes,
🦇 you had a lot of fun with Lilia, since you two organised a sleepover. Eating pizza, building a pillow fort, eating unhealthy ammounts of sweets, pranking Sebek - you truly had the best time of your life and you two even invited Malleus to join you (Silver fell asleep halfway through).
🦇 fun ended when you told a “spooky” story and Lilia being Lilia decided to pull some ancient, fae book with terrifying stories that made Silver suddenly more than awake,
🦇 needless to say, you, Silver, Malleus and even Sebek ended up sleeping all together in the pillow fort with Lilia that night, refusing to turn off the light,
Tumblr media
⚔️ Silver refused to let you touch his sword. Actually he hides it before you, so you won’t get hurt by accident. He hides everything that is sharp,
,,No, Y/N, you’re not going to climb that horse” “But, we always go horse-riding on Tuesdays!” “Yes, when you’re an actual adult”
⚔️ so instead you decided to go to sleep,
⚔️ you both spend a lot of time napping together. Lilia often sees you two sleeping peacefully underneath a tree in the forest, while animals are all around Silver who has clovers in his hair (all thanks to you)
,,Can I braid your hair?” “...” “please?” *sigh* “Yes, sure”
⚔️ your braiding-hair skills certainly got better, even Vil would be impressed,
⚔️ when he’s asleep, you often sketch Silver trying to capture his beauty. Lilia finds your drawings purely adorable and he always coos how cute you are. Of course, Silver has no clue that you have a whole stash of drawing of him and you wish to keep it that way,
⚔️ Lilia of course offers his help, even if it mostly consists of him telling you all the embarrassing stories from Silver’s childhood
Tumblr media
⚡ panics on the inside and on the outside. Can’t and won’t calm down anytime soon,
⚡Sebek hides any dangerous weapon from you and tries to babyproof the house as much as possible,
⚡tries to be quieter with you, as Sebek thinks children generally aren’t fond of loud sounds (oh how wrong was he). Somehow you managed to be louder than him, when you decided to throw a tantrum,
⚡takes you with him literally everywhere. May it be his sword training, actual classes or just his night patrol, Sebek refuses to leave you unattended,
⚡ you ask him to read you and he gladly complies. Sebek switches from actual history textbooks to some fairytales, but you don’t mind this duality. Just hearing his soft voice reading you something before sleep is more than enough to calm you and lull you,
⚡you often fall asleep in his lap,
Tumblr media
💜a child, huh? Something truly unexpected. Vil is the first one to put his initial shock and disbelief aside and he immediately starts working on potion to turn you into adult again. He really wants to dedicate himself to it and at first Vil is engrossed in his work,
💜at first. Soon, you get rather bored and you begin to disturb him. Vil wanted to yeet you to Rook, he truly did, so he could focus on making a potion for you. Yet, after certain hunter told him for the umpteenth time that professor Crewel is taking care of it, he started considering taking a break,
💜your absolutely adorable puppy eyes finally convinced Vil to spend some time with you,
,,Can I style your hair?” “Absolutely no” “Please?” “I said no, but we can throw a small fashion show, hm?
💜 you two throw a small fashion show, but perhaps, a raid on Vil’s closet would be a more appropriate word. You tried a lot of his clothes and Vil taught you how to do poses,
💜 you two sneaked out to Heartslabyul to taste some strawberry tarts baked by Trey (even though Vil certainly was on a diet),
Tumblr media
🏹 oh là, là. Room won’t shut up about how cute you are. He constantly coos how lovely you are. You quickly get tired of this bullshit,
,,Could you stop!” “My, my, mon lapin, tu est trop mignon~!”
🏹 Rook lets you style his hair,as well as wear his hat,
🏹takes you on his regular Leona-watching-from-the-bushes-event and you enjoy your new, stalkerish role perhaps a bit too much,
🏹Rook obviously refused to take you hunting, yet you followed him either way and you ended up convincing him not to kill a hare, but to adopt him,
🏹 Vil certainly wasn’t pleased when you showed up with a hare named “Five”
🏹 your puppy eyes and pouting face is enough to persuade Rook to do whatever you wish. Literally, he won’t be able to refuse you
🏹Vil told him not to give you any sweets, but one look of your puppy eyes and Rook is melting. He will sneakily give you chocolate when Mr.Schoenheit is not looking,
Tumblr media
🍏 Epel has absolutely no clue how to take care of you. Absolutely, he’s just lost,
🍏 but he tries his best to keep you from dangerous, sharp things that may result in you hurting yourself,
,,I’m not a baby, I can slice the bread myself” “Y’N, you’re literally a child”
🍏 however, Epel let you help him bake some apple cookies and you two ended up having a flour fight (yes, you started it on purpose),
🍏 you two become partners in crime. Sneaking out at the evening to Savanaclaw, eating snacks past bedtime, violating practically every, single rule Vil imposed on you two and finally raiding Rook’s stash of sweets - there’s just plenty of things you both managed to do together,
🍏 Epel plays a loooooot of board games with you - literally every, single game he managed to find in Pomefiore, while you both sip on hot chocolate with marshmallows,
🍏 he is elated, when you turn to your original form. Sure, he had a lot of fun taking care of child version of you, yet he much more prefers your older self (mostly because he can finally kiss you)

DMC5 secret ending AU
this was a collection of more of less random thoughts
Just like in the game, Dante looses badly to Urizen and he is yeeted to near death from the Qlipoth, Nero steps in and is able to break through (a severely damaged by Dante) guard of crystal Yamato and beats Urizen (who hasn`t yet fed on too much human blood). V is able to finish the fight and Vergil is reborn.
Qlipoth has not stopped invading the human world, and demon invasion still happens. Qlipoth WILL grow a fruit, and Vergill is determined to have it (or, more accurately, to prevent any demons from ascending to Mundus levels of power).
This entire post is based of my belief that Nero can fill the role of Vergil`s conscience even better than V did. I`m not about to hate on V, V`s cool, but I think he, as a separate entity, unnecessarily complicates things. V just has his thoughts and feelings a little bit closer to the surface, and is, is very rare occasions, even willing to do retrospective, but I believe Vergil is just as capable of all of that with some extrensic motivation - namely, from Nero. In this scenario, Vergil no longer has a rival, as Dante is defeated (another reason he stays in Redgrave, but would never ever acknowledge), he doesn`t feel the pressure of always being challenged, he is in good health and currently the most powerful being in the entire area, and if he gets the fruit he can get even stronger.
Add Nero to the mix. Vergil can breathe more easily for the time being, and here is Nero, who is open with his emotions and affections, who is worried about all the death and carnage and wants to save as much people as possible, and is actually worried about Dante. He can be the voice of conscience Vergil would be somewhat more open to in this situation.
I doubt Vergil would put the pieces in place correctly the first time, but I doubt that the moment he realised Nero is his son he would hide the fact like his brother did.
(here we have some oportunities for sudden father - unprepared son bonding)
They find Dante of course, but since Urizen was cut off from the tree, his brother too was not healed up on human blood. He survived with his demonic regeneration, but is still unstable.
With some emotinal nudging (more like beating), Nero once again becomes the bridge the brothers need to mend their relatonship*. Vergil is forced to choose between power of the fruit for himself or to save Dante.
_
* based on my personal interpretation of Dante`s arc in 5. If Vergil`s journey is about finding lost conscince and dealing with traume, then Dante`s if about damnation. Through the progress of the game he ignores of abandons everyone he holds dear more and more in his pursuit of rage (doesn`t look for Lady, abandons Trish, while he pushed Nero away to keep him from danger, Trish and Lady clearly needed some help and Dante completely ignored them both). Previous times he hurt Vergil on accident, this time he is fully intending on killing his brother, even if they are both in clear state of mind, he just gives into feeling of hatred and rage and ignores how happy he is at his brother being alive. In this scenario he made the first step on that road - he accepted the contract to kill Vergil, but was unsonscious for most of the destruction caused in Redgrave and he cannot blame Vergil entirely on this, since Urizen is no more - it`s just demons and the tree acting on their own. Brothers certainly would be hostile to each other, but without any reason to or motivation it wouldn`t be murdorous.
_
p.s. please don`t regrow Nero`s arm. He is clearly capable of forgiving Vergil for that, and also he has cool amputee representation - those one-armed Blue Rose reloads and absolutely great, and he wielded Red Queen just fine weakened as he was from the hospital. Spectral clawy claws are awesome, but they don`t contradict being an amputee.
*bonus points if Vergil officially met Nero first time somewhere in the city like Haytham met his son in AC3 - pinning from above, threatening with the stabby stab and then interrogating. Nero does NOT appreciate the behavior, but he is willing to talk so doesn`t resist too much
** bonus points for some a little feral on human blood Demon Dante

Loyal here, and back from the dead! Had some health issues and family drama, but I should be completely back now! I hope this all makes sense, I had to take Benadryl so I’m kinda out of it at the moment.
——
For those who have been interested in the idea of a reader from Undertale, I’m so happy! Anon who went into detail with how y/n might be forced into bringing out their soul? *chefs kiss* I love it. And with Ranboo or Techno doing it on accident because of the voice(s)? Then, when they snap out of it and see y/n begging this ‘Frisk’ person for mercy? AAAAAAA YES P L E A S E. I live for the angst and that concept quenched my thirst for it. When it comes to the resets, I think that most of what happened during them felt like dejavú to y/n when going through the Underground, making them give reactions similar to the monsters who seem to recall certain things when you play the game again. However, when it comes to the genocide route, I feel like they don’t remember anything. At least...not until they’re put under extreme stress, panic, trauma, etc., or if they’re in an intense life or death situation. Only then would they remember. But it’s messy when they do. They get thrown into a memory and basically have a mental breakdown. Whether they remember it once they calm down or not...? Up to you. Anyway, here’s some of my own ideas based off all this!
- In Ranboo’s case, I feel like he’d know who Frisk is and quite a bit about y/n’s world. He just seems like the type of person you could tell anything to and he’d listen. Because of this factor, I can see y/n having either already shown him their SOUL, or having planned to in the near future. He’d recognize the situation—a panic attack—and do everything in his power to calm y/n down. He isn’t the type to pry, so he wouldn’t mention the reader’s SOUL unless it seemed to be in really bad condition. He’d rather y/n come to him and open up on their own.
- It’s a cry fest. They’re both tearing up and telling the other not to cry. Y/n knows it wasn’t Ranboo’s fault and doesn’t want him hurting himself over it, especially because his tears hurt him. They forgive him, it’s okay. Ranboo feels incredibly guilty for what he’s done. And seeing them crying over what he did and the trauma he accidentally brought onto them? He’s crushed. You know those sappy movies where the main characters are comforting each other, crying but letting out choked/hiccuping laughter? Not because they find the situation funny, but because they both react the same way and just want what’s best for each other and it’s all around adorable? That’s them.
- But, if it’s yandere Ranboo? He’d probably see this as proof that y/n is far too fragile for this world. Clearly, they need someone to protect them. He’d most certainly feel guilty about what he’d done, but he may play it up a bit to get as much attention/sympathy/whatever from them.
- For Techno, unless he was there when y/n initially woke up in the SMP, I don’t think he’d believe them. So he probably doesn’t know shit (or, he at least knows the basics), unless he found out from someone else. That’s just my opinion tho. Either way, I believe he’d think it’s all bullshit. However, he wouldn’t force an encounter to prove his point. He has at least some decency. No he doesn’t. I feel like he’d remind y/n of just how hostile monsters Underground were in the beginning, so they’d be weary around him. (I’m doing flat out yandere for him from now on bc that’s all I can think of rn)
- If he doesn’t know who Frisk is, I see him being slightly insulted that they think of some random stranger—as far as he’s aware—who clearly hurt them. He’d never do that! He—oh shit, he kinda sorta did do that...
- If he does know who Frisk is and is romantically interested in y/n, he’d probably be peeved that they’re basically referring to him as their sibling. He gets that they’re going through a traumatic episode but c’mon! He’d end up pushing the thought aside to help them. However, he may be slightly petty for the next few days.
- Keeping on the romantic yandere side, I see him possibly making the situation worse even if it isn’t his intention to. Whether he’s told by y/n or someone else, he at least knows what their SOUL is and what it stands for (even if he didn’t believe it till now). So here’s his little darling, all curled up and clutching their SOUL to their chest like it’s their lifeline. Oh, wait, it is. Sure, he’s surprised that it’s real, but any shock he would’ve felt is replaced by awe and he can’t help but notice how mesmerizing it is. So, he forcefully gently pulls their arms away from their chest, cooing at them and saying that everything’s fine, and removes their hands from the entity so he can get a better look at it. He watches as the (color) heart bobs slightly up and down, and can’t help but be surprised by how warm it feels against the palms of his calloused hands when he cups it. Any whimpers and pleas from y/n begging for their soul to be returned are blocked out. All he can focus on is the SOUL in front of him, the very culmination of their being, and how small it is. This little thing, that takes damage whenever their body does, that physically appears whenever they are in a fight, is what keeps them alive? That won’t do. Not at all. This land is far too dangerous for them! They better get used to his cabin, for as far as Techno’s concerned, it’s their new world home.
——
And Tommy forcing them into an encounter because he thinks it’s all bullshit? That would definitely happen. He’d feel so guilty once he sees the look of betrayal in y/n’s eyes and the disappointment that shows on the faces of anyone who had seen the forced encounter. As if they too weren’t curious. He noticed that no one stopped him. Let’s be honest. Most would be too curious to interfere.
- Y/n probably falls to their knees, cupping their SOUL in the palms of their hands. They know that Tommy wouldn’t actually hurt them, but they can’t help but feel as though their boundaries have been pushed aside, as though one of their only requests meant nothing to everyone. Tears slip and it takes watching the glowing heart, being lost in their own world as they mentally count every rhythmic bob to ground them. Once their breathing calms and their sobs turn into hushed whimpers, they push their SOUL back into their chest and stare at the ground, unsure of what to do next.
- Tommy definitely acts a hundred times more mature in the following moments. Depending on when in the DSMP timeline this occurs, he’d either be confident—and rightfully so—in his ability to help someone during a panic attack, or be hesitant, unsure of what to do, fumbling with his words and motions, but trying his damn hardest to help nonetheless. Either way, I see y/n appreciating it. Y/n literally come from a world where they would befriend creatures ten seconds after they genuinely tried to kill them and their sibling. I don’t see them holding a grudge. They’d most likely be slightly weary in the following twenty to thirty minutes, but get over it. After all, they’ve always chosen MERCY. Can’t say the same for their sibling, though. Tommy’s extra cautious about what he says or does around them after that.
- I feel like after a few weeks or months, y/n may bond enough with Tommy to want to show how much they trust him by bringing out their SOUL. Especially if they’re there through all the hell that Tommy goes through story-wise. To them, it’d probably be their way of telling him that they trust him with their life, and that they’ll always be on his side.
- Yandere or not, he does everything in his power to protect y/n if they remain weary of encounters. He’ll either find a way to avoid a fight, not wanting to hurt y/n by doing anything that would make him gain this supposed LOVE that comes from their world, or he’d do enough damage to allow them to escape without anyone or anything dying.
- If y/n discovers that they’re able to befriend the monsters of this world like they could their own, regular Tommy would respect that. He may be a bit antsy if the encounter drags on or if y/n sustains some damage, but he knows that they know what they’re doing. As previously mentioned, he’ll get involved if things go south, but he won’t kill anything. At least, not in front of them. Gotta get bones, blaze powder, and spider eyes somehow. But even then, he does it sparingly out of respect for y/n’s wishes. That, or he’ll have someone else get materials for him.
- Yandere Tommy wouldn’t risk shit. You can’t just talk to mobs, you idiot! You’ll die if you do that! And you’ve only got one life! He’d threaten to kill mobs right in front of y/n if it’d get them to stop trying to play house with disgusting monsters. That, or he may force y/n into killing. Their HP, AT, and DF increase when their LOVE increases, right? So they have to if they want to survive!
——
I agree with the anon that Dream and Vilbur would definitely force y/n into an encounter. Yandere or not. If yandere, they’d probably become obsessed with the concept of SOULS and constantly pressure them into bringing it out. They use it as a nightlight JKJKJK.
- Ya know how in Deltarune, Kris yeets their SOUL into a cage? Well, imagine that, but it’s forcefully taken by Dream. He’d put it in a glass container and show it off like some damn trophy. That, or he hides it away where no one can find it. Vilbur would do the same but keep the SOUL on his person at all times. That way no one forgets who y/n belongs to. To him, it’d show power and ownership. Much to his pleasure and mostly everyone else’s disgust.
- I’d also add Schlatt to the list of people that force an encounter, as well as yandere Sam. Schlatt would pull it out in front of everyone to show how much power he can hold ever someone, or, to use as a shield when he thinks Pogtopia will attack. They wouldn’t want to hurt an innocent person who’s got a little sibling waiting for them at home, would they? With Sam, he’d do it to make sure that y/n is in perfect health. Can’t risk there being any cracks or the SOUL being dim! Following Tommy’s death and revival, he’d probably do the same as Vilbur, keeping their SOUL with him and never letting it out of his sight. However, instead of doing it out of a show of power like Vilbur, it’s out of paranoia. He can’t lose you too. He has to know that you’re okay!
——
For some fluff, here’s who I think y/n would eventually trust enough to show their SOUL:
- Tommy (as mentioned earlier)
- Ranboo (also mentioned earlier)
- Tubbo (he reminds them too much of Asriel to not trust him with their SOUL)
- Captain Puffy (same as Tubbo, but for Toriel)
- Ghostbur (he’s just so nice!! How could they not? Besides, he sometimes reminds them of Napstablook! They probably call Ghostbur Blooky a lot on accident and the ghost just learns to roll with it LOL)
- Karl! (After hearing about this person who comes from a world with timelines and basically time travel, he can’t help but be interested. He’s losing so much, he needs someone who might possibly understand. They both share a similar hatred towards the concept of time travel/resets and the amount of pressure it puts on a person’s shoulders. That, and the lack of memories, even if they‘be both been effected by this in different ways)
- Bad (before he’s corrupted by the egg, of course. He’s so sweet omg. Besides, his personality gives me Toriel vibes)
I personally don’t see them trusting Philza enough, no matter how much he reminds them of Asgore. Then again, the King of Monsters is the one who basically put a bounty on their SOUL. He also refused their MERCY and forced them to FIGHT. Besides, when they hear from others—or see it for themself—that Philza kills his own son? I don’t think they’d ever forgive that. No matter what happens. You should refuse death, because there’s always another option. They’d know first hand, after all. With having their SOUL broken in half and pieced back together thanks to their own sheer will to live. To protect their sibling and save their friends. The battle against Asriel taught them so much, and they’d never take life for granted again thanks to it. “Asgore, though I may not stand by his methods of taking the SOULS of innocents—children, no less—I understand why he did it. He lost both of his children, his pride and joy, at the hands of humans. The real monsters of this w—of my world. He would have given anything to get them back. And you, you just throw your son’s life away? How could you?! Do you know how many beings, Monsters and humans alike, would sacrifice everything just to see their loved ones one more time? To take their place? To save them from a brutal death by the hands of those who want your SOULS? To see their small body covered in blood and burns or spears. Only for their death to have been meaningless, for their SOUL had shattered before it could be collected and used? When it should have been you, their big sibling, to take their place?” Yeah... they’ve definitely got some issues they need to deal with LOL. I personally headcanon that even if Frisk wasn’t able to reset, their soul would have been useless when it came to breaking the barrier because that thing shattered into PIECES. What would the monsters do? Use gorilla glue and hope the damn thing stays together?
——
Imagine how different characters, Yandere or not, would react to y/n’s soul shattering. Especially if it’s because y/n took a hit for them.
ALRIGHT THATS IT AND IM GOING TO SLEEP LOL
Omg that’s so much. It’s all so fucking good but I am just overwhelmed by how much is here because I want to answer it all but,,,
IT’S SO GOOF NIGHTLIGHT SOUL JANSJS PLEASE HAHA that’s just hilarious.
Also putting the soul in cages? YES THAT’S SUCH A GOOD CONCEPT TO BRING UP!!! Vilbur wanting to own while Sam wants to protect. Both lead to a similar end. An emotionless reader with no care for themselves or others. Just a rogue being. A zombie, I’d you will. But not dumb. Oh not dumb at all.
Also putting the soul in a jar??? I ca see DreamXD doing the same, if not similar. Ooo maybe he wears their souls on him? Trapping it in a piece of jewelry to display your “loyalty” and “love” to him.
I’m sorry I’m just not feelin too good.

Teddy Bear Anon has purposed yet another interesting addition to the Immune AU which gives me plot ideas! In particular, a scene that would really help give past Dream a strong push into his character arc.
I like to image that immune!Dream’s character arc starts with the death of immune!Puffy. Sure, maybe he’s not sad yet, but he feels something for the woman who declared herself his pseudo mother. It’s what helps to crack the shell enough for the rest of the immune gang to start weedling their way into his heart. Immune!Dream after spending enough time watching the group he, starts to realize that yeah, connections to other people isn’t a weakness. It really is a strength. It’s something that takes time for him to come to terms with because Techno seems like a testament to the fact connections are a weakness. He was unbeatable until his horse got kidnapped. His only connection, his only weakness. But then there’s Tommy who seems to represent the complete opposite.
Where Dream represents strength from caring too little, Tommy represents strength from caring far too much. Now I’m a sucker for bamf Tommy, and I like to personally imagine that maybe the Immunes hold out for a year or two before they cave and try to make the portal. So Tommy has what really boils down to a two year training arc on top of already being a child veteran (I like to canonize SMP Earth as well because personal preference and it gives me even more room to make Tommy suffer. SMP Earth being canon? God, so much fucking trauma considering how the others treated him, a 15 year old child, like an adult.) Anyway Dream slowly realizes connections with one another are what kept the remaining Immunes alive, and he tries to force his younger self to understand that. Tries, but doesn’t really get far. Up until what everyone else calls The Fight.
Tommy’s always just kind of screwed around in fights as long as there’s only a threat to him. We know he has a tendency to throw if MCC is any indicator. But then they time travel and maybe they spend some time in the past trying to get the situation sorted and the past’s Dream maybe just kinda does something to Tubbo. Doesn’t even have to be big, it just needs to clock as a threat to Immune!Tommy who’s already lost his Tubbo and refuses to let his younger self go through that. So Tommy goes completely ape shit on the younger Dream. Sure, it’s only been two years for this Tommy. He’s probably, like, 18 or 19 at most. Still a child as far as a lot of people are concerned. He shouldn’t be stronger than Dream or Technoblade, and in the few cross group sparing sessions they’ve had he isn’t. He’s stronger than his younger self but no where near these two demi gods of combat. But then Dream suddenly registers as a threat to Tubbo in Immune!Tommy’s eyes and he makes the mistake of mocking Tommy while he’s at it. He knows that immune!Tommy lost his Tubbo and maybe the past Dream is lashing out slightly or trying to get some kind of foothold in Tommy’s psyche. He isn’t doing anything near what immune!Dream has done, but it’s enough to piss Tommy off. So immune!Tommy challenges Dream to a fight and Dream immediately realizes the mistake he’s made when Tommy starts to destroy him.
Say even Techno’s there for some reason or another and he realizes what’s going down so he tries to calm Tommy down, joining the fight just as Dream is loosing it. The situation quickly turns into the first time Techno’s ever gotten his ass thoroughly kicked by Tommy, leaving everyone spectating baffled (Tommy’s younger self partly included). They’re certain this kid is going on some rampage and none of them can stop him but the moment Dream and Techno are both taken care of (wounded, not killed, the older Tommy is always careful about that. He even throws a splash healing on them with some indifferent kind of disgust that hides the fact he does still care to some extent even hurting as he is.) Tommy immediately just switches focus to outright doting on Tubbo, ignoring any muttered Clingyinnits in favor of ensuring Tubbo is fine. Tubbo is completely find and just as confused, but the point stands and neither Tommy ends up leaving Tubbo’s side for the rest of the day. The younger Tommy, after all, is the only one the older Tommy’s told the full story to regarding the future (even when he couldn’t trust his own family he was always able to trust himself with the secrets that mattered, so he prepares his younger self in case the worst comes to pass.)
The older Dream, immune!Dream, he doesn’t get involved. He sit on the side lines and just kinda laughs, the sound drowned out by Sapnap’s loud encouragements and Sam’s half hearted attempts to get Tommy to stop (he could have stopped Tommy immediately if he’d stepped in. Sam is after all the only person on earth Tommy listens to without hesitation, but Sam lets it happen and pretends he tried.)
Immune!Dream just kinda smirks at his younger self later that night and mentions something about attachments really making you weak. After all, it’s not like the only time Tommy takes a battle seriously is when someone he cares about is in danger. It’s not like Tommy would turn the world into a seared ball for Tubbo, and Tubbo would do the same in return. It’s not like they’ve watched the people they care about temporarily rebuke the Crimson just to give the Immunes those precious extra seconds needed to survive in a fight. Attachments, they’re just a weakness.
The younger Dream doesn’t know how to respond to that. It’s the first time he thinks about his older self maybe being right.
Before I go I wanna leave you with two more ideas for the Immune AU
First up, Wilbur is eight years older than Tommy give or take. Wilbur had Fundy when he was around 16 and Tommy was around 8. Tommy was the best damn uncle he could be and for a while Tommy and Fundy were really stupidly close. They were both apart of the raised by Wilbur club and Wilbur was trying his damn best. Fundy aged/matured (physically and mentally) faster than a regular person for a while. They believed it was because he was a fox hybrid and Wilbur was ready to lose Fundy too soon. When Fundy was equivalent to 18 in human years though his aging process suddenly slowed to a crawl and his tail split into two, at which point the group realized he was actually a kitsune and it was just those first 8 years that passed by quickly (and Wilbur had a lot of questions for the now missing Sally who he’d thought was a salmon hybrid, genuinely, but became exceedingly less sure.) His family knows he’s a kitsune, but Fundy hid it from most of the rest of the server. A good thing considering later events.
Fundy was part of the Immune group for a while and I like to imagine that he and Tommy had a falling out during the Pogtopia era but after the egg started to take over they started bonding again and acting like, well, family. Unfortunately when it came time for them to activate the portal, Fundy ended up getting separated from the group and getting caught. The eggpire didn’t actually know Fundy was fully immune or a kitsune so he just kinda pretended to get infected, using his illusions to make his fur look crimson. I personally like the idea that Fundy at some point managed to get back to the time machine and being a little code wizard manages to get the thing working and yeets himself in. He shows up a little late but after fixing his appearance manages to catch up with the rest of the group.
Fundy is underrated. Tommy being a good uncle is underrated. Sam would absolutely adopt the traumatized fox baby in Eret’s honor. What’s not to love?
The last concept I wanna bring up that I really like is hybrid Tommy. Tanuki would be good since it’s another reason for the Sam Nook bit. Maybe Sam specifically picked Sam Nook since Tom Nook was Tommy’s favorite character on the grounds he was the only representation Tommy had ever gotten and it made the kiddo happy. However, I also personally really like phoenix Tommy and it would make an interesting plot point. Tommy accidentally losing his third life at some point and realizing he’s an immortal creature of fire would have led to him taking a protector role for his new family. He can’t die, but he can burn anything around him, why not send him out to get supplies when the worst the eggpire could do would be capture him. Even then he just literally cannot hear the egg. Which could lead to both some interesting comedic moments and some really good angst if Sam agonizes over his desire to protect Tommy and let him be a child suddenly being at odds with the fact Tommy is literally the best person for the job so to speak. Not to mention Sapnap, who I headcanon as a Blaze hybrid, would be even more attached the moment he found a new fire proof friend to burn forests with him. Regardless of which hybrid type he is, I could see him hiding it from everyone except for Fundy when he was a child and only ever admitting it later to the other Immunes once they become a found family.
Personally I like the idea of Tommy being part tanuki hybrid and part phoenix hybrid, but is that too mary sue? Is it just a little bit too cheesy to have him be both? I will never not try to incorporate phoenix Tommy into my fics but also tanuki Tommy would be such a mood for this au.
Like image Tommy just builds a den that’s in reality a vault/panic room a la Techno and he hides it under Church Prime since that is The Safe Spot in Tommy’s mind.

Longstar Au May the 4th be With You Always part 2
Hello and welcome back to an AU that has gotten out of my control.  Sorry it’s been a bit, I’ve had this written up for a few days, but it’s been tweaked and retweaked until I had to stop or it might gain sentience or something.  Just a quick note, I have some notes on the designs page of some of the deaths of the villains - some of these have been retconned.  With that in mind, let’s finish - that’s right, I said finish - the Longstar AU!!!
Up in Starclan, it’s chaos.  Cats are yelling, Bluestar is hollering about prophecies, and Yellowfang wants to know if ANYONE was watching Dovepaw.  As the chaos dies down, discussions on the war begin, and Yellowfang is angry that it’s being talked about as casually as gossip about who’s dating who.  Canon continues until...
Lionblossom is finishing treating Thunderclan’s wounds, while Jaywhisker sits nearby, trembling.  He can’t believe he’s responsible for the death of Russetfur, she just twisted wrong and landed on his outstretched claws.  Lionblossom tried comforting him, but words won’t bring back a good warrior, who would have been a wonderful leader.  He finally drifts off to sleep, only to see a golden-pelted warrior training with Tigerstar.
Jaywhisker jerks awake to Cinderheart gently prodding him.  She apologizes for waking him, but something flew into the hollow, and she doesn’t want to look for it alone, and Jaywhisker looked like sleep wasn’t restful, so could he come?  Jaywhisker agrees, glad for the distraction, and the two scare off an enormous white owl.  Cinderheart tells Jaywhisker that she’s worried about him, and he thanks her for the concern, even if he’s confused why she cares.  They head for an early patrol, and run across Embertail.  He’s furious, but before he can run off, Jaywhisker begs him for a chance to explain.  Embertail spits, about to fire off a retort, but Jaywhisker looks like misery incarnate, and Embertail pulls himself together, and listens.  Jay quietly wails out his horror and guilt, and asserts that none of this should have happened, especially to such an honorable warrior like Russetfur.  As he leans on Cinderheart, trying to pull himself together, Embertail recalls how the blind warrior helped his family when Shadowclan abandoned their faith, and how loyal he was to the Code and his family.  So, instead of calling him a murderer, Embertail says he’ll go to Starclan for guidance, and Jaywhicker begs him to ask Russetfur for forgiveness.  Embertail agrees and heads back to Shadowclan, and Jaywhisker apologizes to Cinderheart for crying on her.  Cinderheart responds, what else are friends for?  Canon continues until...
Dovepaw tries to convince Ivypaw to stop spying on the Dark Forest.  Look what they did to me, and I’m the Prophecy Cat!  Ivypaw retorts back excuse me, if you’d gone to someone before yowling your pretty little head off about Shadowclan being evil, maybe this wouldn’t have happened!  Maybe make this not all about you?  And Ivypaw storms off, genuinely angry at her sister for once.  Canon continues until...
Littlecloud, laying near death in the medicine den, asks Embertail to go to the Moonpool, and ask Starclan for guidance.  The ghosts of Shadowclan rise in flames, and tell Embertail the clans must stand alone.  Before they can fade, Embertail, who’s been thinking hard and talking to his mentor, fires back that if the clans were closer, maybe the battle wouldn’t have happened in the first place!  Stunned by the retort, most of the ghosts return to Starclan, where Yellowfang says I told you that was stupid, but Runningnose and Russetfur hang back, with Runningnose congratulating Embertail on his bravery, and Embertail giving Russetfur Jaywhisker’s apology.  Russetfur says she needs to think on it, and the last Starclan cats return to the stars.  Blackstar, on hearing the message, agrees with the Shadowclan ghosts, but Littlecloud and Embertail argue for unity.  Canon continues until...
Ivypaw goes to train in the Dark Forest, and bumps into Mapleshade, who shows interest in her.  Brambleclaw inserts himself between them, commanding Mapleshade to back off, but he’s a few octaves higher than normal, and Mapleshade bows out, laughing.  Ivypaw then fake praises the Shadowclan ruse, and Brambleclaw preens, then introduces her to his posse.  In the group of Dark Forest residents is Snowtuft, hanging back, and every time Brambleclaw looks away, Snowtuft looks miserable, which is normal for the Dark Forest, but also regretful, which is definitely new.  Later, she overhears Tigerstar praising Goldenheart on learning a new technique.  When she wakes, Ivypaw tells Jaywhisker and Lionblossom about the Shadowclan warrior and the possibly remorseful ghost, which both interest the brothers greatly.  Canon continues until...
Embertail falls through the ice.  Jaywhisker leaps into the water, his blindness a boon in this situation.  As he struggles to hold onto Embertail, a weird floaty old tom tries to convince him it’s Embertail’s time.  Jaywhisker completely ignores him, thinking it’s a Dark Forest trick, and drags Embertail free of the waters, but it’s been hours, and Embertail’s breathing steady, but he won’t wake up!!!
Meanwhile in the Dark Forest, Ivypaw is lead to the wandering spirit of Embertail by Tigerstar and commanded to kill.  Goldenheart leaps in, and as the two squabble, Embertail is lead away by Yellowfang.  Tigerstar is impressed by Ivypaw’s spirit, and decides she’s loyal to the Dark Forest.
Meanwhile in the Tribe, Feathertail watches over her brother’s kits. She looks tired and worn, but when Brook asks if she’s alright, Feathertail insists she’s fine.  Back in Shadowclan, Embertail wakes up!!!  All he remembers is falling in the water, and seeing Yellowfang, but nothing with his brother or Ivypaw.  Canon continues until...
When Icecloud falls in the hole. Jaywhisker begins to have a panic attack, and Cinderheart helps him breathe throught it.  Behind them, Ivypaw, Dovepaw, Wormpaw, and Icecloud all bet on how long before they start dating.  When they get back to camp, Dovepaw becomes Dovewing, Ivypaw becomes Ivyleaf (for her capability to grow), and poor left-out Wormpaw becomes Wormwood (for his steady, dependable spirit).  Canon continues until...
Jaywhisker ventures into the tunnel, hoping sadly to recover Hollywish, but all that’s there is a tuft of fur, and an old bloodstain.  To his dawning joy, maybe his sister is alive?!?  But he refuses to keep his hopes high.  He doesn’t want to get hurt.  Canon continues until...
Ivyleaf and Antpelt fight in the Dark Forest, and she beats him so soundly he wakes up.  Mapleshade emerges from nearby, and promises Ivyleaf that she’s ready for “special training”, which worries Ivyleaf, but what choice does she have?  Canon continues until...
At the Gathering, Dovewing refuses to talk to Goldenheart, pissed off at him.  Bumblestripe follows her around a tad creepily, but is interrupted by Grasspelt asking about Briarlight.  Dovewing gently breaks the news to Grasspelt, who’s horrified but relieved, and asks Brightheart is he can come visit, and she agrees.  Dawnpelt catches Dovewing before gathering ends and tells her that Goldenheart is in it for Dovewing.  Canon continues until...
Lionblossom hars voices calling from the mountain, and Longstar, knowing he’ll just sneak off if not allowed, sends him off to the Tribe with Foxflight, Shrewleg, Wolfleap (formerly Foxleap), and Frostfoot.  Yellowfang wonders what the Tribe is up to, that’s HER himbo descendant, excuse you!  Canon continues until...
While walking out in the woods, Cinderheart tells Jaywhisker that she overheard Dovewing talking to Ivyleaf about Prophecies, and Jay admits to what’s going on.  Cinderheart starts panicking, oh man I’m not worthy to date such an important cat!?!  Jaywhisker goes wait wait wait, we’re dating?  And I’m supposed to be the smart brother!  There’s a moment where they just stare at each other, then burst into laughter until they fall down.  Wormwood wins the Date Bet by a day, and gets three juicy mice for winning.  Canon continues until...
Breezepelt stops by Thunderclan, obviously in a state.  He tells Longstar that someone snuck into camp and killed his friend Antpelt, have you seen any wandering loners?  Dovewing panics, thinking Ivyleaf’s in danger, but Ivyleaf scoffs.  What, you think a measly Dark Forest warrior could take me?  I’m so offended I’m gonna give you a noogie!  Canon continues until...
When Goldenheart pins Ivytail in the Dark Forest, she whispers in his ear that she’d never hurt his sibling, and he backs off, but also because she yeets him off.  When Blossomfall is introduced as a new trainee, Ivyleaf is horrified, excuse me, you’re the sensible one?!?  Canon continues until...
The patrol makes it to the Tribe, and Foxflight reunites with her old friends.  Wolfleap convinces the Tribe trainees to show him their eagle-catching techniques, though he gets scolded for it.  While there, Lionblossom dreams of the origins of the Tribe, and when Half-Moon speaks to him, Lionblossom confesses his crush.  She reciprocates, saying she’s been keeping an eye on him, which isn’t creepy at all!  Canon continues until...
Somewhere in here, Sandstorm and Coldlight become mates, after both searching their feelings and discussing their boundaries, like sensible adults.  Ivyleaf and Blossomfall become lost in the tunnels, and a shadowy molly leads them to safety, along with a ghostly Fallen Leaves.  Canon continues until...
Flora is nearly carried off by an eagle, and Wolfleap, Foxflight, and Frostfoot attack it, saving Flora but losing Swoop, to their grief.  Lionblossom talks to Stoneteller, and chooses Crag as the next Stoneteller.  He silently promises Half-Moon he’ll wait for her if she’ll wait for him.
Sol approaches the Clans, vowing revenge, but boy oh boy will he be surprised!!!
While out patrolling, Birchfall tells Ivyleaf he saw her training in the Dark Forest, and Ivyleaf internally flips out.  At the border, Furzepaw sides with  the Thunderclan warriors, confusing Heathertail and Breezepelt.  Whitewing and Dovewing are gathering moss, and Dovewing has to tell her mother that no, she does NOT want to be set up with Bumblestripe, maybe try Rosepetal, she like him.  Can we talk about something else?  Please?  Whitewing agrees, and later sets up Rosepetal with Bumblestripe in a scheme involving a frog, moss, and a convinient field of flowers.  The two become mates, and Dovewing sighs in relief, especially when Bumblestripe apologizes for being obsessive. Also, because Embertail lived, Dawnpelt doesn’t hate Jaywhisker. Canon continues until...
Cherrypaw and Molepaw are rescued from the tunnels by the shadowy molly, but Sol shows up, claiming he rescued the apprentices. He’s chased from Thunderclan and yeeted over the border by an angry mob.  Later, Dovewing hears Sol setting up trouble in Windclan, and she and Ivyleaf head through the tunnels to stop him.
of course they get lost almost immediately, and are also lead out by the shadowy molly.  As the molly heads back into the tunnels, Jaywhisker appears.  Oh there you are, where did you goooOOO MY SWEET GRAN-GRAN’S LEFT FANG!!!!  He leaps past the warriors and tackles the molly, yowling in joy.  It’s Hollywish!!! Jaywhisker drags her back to camp, with Dovewing and Ivyleaf trailing behind.  Hollywish’s return to Thunderclan camp is a joyous occasion, as her mother, brother, aunt, uncles, and grandparents descend on her in tears of delight and relief.  Dovewing heads to her grandmother Brightheart and tells her about her “suspicion”, plus aren’t there some family members missing?  Shortly after, Crowfeather and Breezepelt charge into camp, with Heathertail and Gorseflicker close behind with Ivyleaf.  Canon continues until...
Hollywish explains that she was injured badly, and became badly lost and disoriented, only saved by Fallen Leaves, and was regaining both her strength and her confidence before returning.  The Windclan warriors and Thunderclan hatch a plan to catch Sol in his own trap.  Canon continues until...
Lionblossom fills Yellowfang in on Jaywhisker and Cinderheart, and they both realize she might get confused if Cinderpelt’s memories show up, so they break it to her gently.  She freaks out, but Jaywhisker notes he’s never seen Cinderpelt in her dreams, so she must be more of a watchful spirit.  She calms down and calls for Cinderpelt to appear, and she does.  The two have a private conversation, and then Yellowfang escorts her apprentice to Starclan.  Canon continues until...
Ivyleaf and Dark Forest Antpelt fight on the order of Brambleclaw, and she kills Antpelt.  Sunstrike and Furzepelt threaten her, and she stalks off, acting haughty, until out of earshot, where she loses her mind, lashing out and weeping bitterly.  When she stops wailing, she hears someone else weeping.  On investigation, she finds Snowtuft tearing up the ground, wailing into the muck, and cursing his own stupidity and cruelty.  Ivyleaf, seeing an opportunity, and a cat that might be salvageable, she walks up to him and comforts the Dark Forest cat.  When he’s done, the two have a conversation that leads to a future surprise.  Canon continues until...
Windclan fakes allowing Sol in, and fake an attack on Thunderclan, but loop back with Thunderclan in tow.  Mudstar and Longstar stand united, and after spitting hate to a distant clan, Sol flees.  Later, he’s found by some twolegs, and becomes a pampered internet star.
With all four of the Prophecised cats here, preparations begin in the clans, in the Dark Forest, and in Starclan.  Mothwing finds a shadow that refuses to fade, and the medicine cats bring their leaders to the Moonpool.  Starclan reveals that they’re ready for battle, and plans are hatched.  Canon continues until...
Ivyleaf tells the Four that Birchfall and Blossomfall are Dark Forest trainees, which horrifies Dovewing, but then Ivyleaf reveals she’s undermined all the trainees from within.  When she and Snowtuft had their talk, they planned together.  Snowtuft secretly took each and every trainee, and showed them what they were truly doing, planting doubts and turning some back to the clans.  Canon continues untill
The Battle Begins!!
Shadowclan calls for aid, and Greystripe and Jaywhisker bolt there to help.  Even in his blindness, Jaywhisker can see the gruesome Ghosts and shining Spirits battling in his peripherals.  As they enter the camp, Blackstar rises from losing a life.  He then kills Redwillow for being a traitor, and Jaywhisker duels with Shredtail, scattering him into the aether.  Suddenly Greystripe yowls in grief, and Jaywhisker hears the voice of Feathertail assuring him she’ll always be with him and watch over Briarlight.  Canon continues until...
Ivyleaf runs into Goldenheart, and she confronts him angrily.  He swears to do better by the Code, the clan, and by his sister.  Ivyleaf declares that he better, because Dovewing still loves him, even if Ivyleaf thinks he’s a big fat jerk.  Goldenheart says you know what, that’s fair.  Canon continues until...
Over in Windclan, Heathertail and Breezepelt drag drag Furzepaw and Sunstrike apart as the battle rages around them.  Furzepaw declares Sunstrike a traitor to their true ideals and the Dark Forest, and Sunstrike yowls back that the Dark Forest lied to them and killed Antpelt!!  Breezepelt reels back in shock, as Antpelt was his best friend.  They’re interrupted by Crowfeather and Nightcloud racing past, then pouncing on and killing Houndleap.  Gorseflicker is heard screeching in rage, shredding and scattering a ghost to the winds, and a shining Deadfoot trounces a cat until they flee, past the glowing forms of Onewhisker and Tallstar.  Canon continues until...
Brambleclaw confronts Ivyleaf, spitting curses at her disloyalty.  She counters that she’s not the only one, and Snowtuft drops out of a tree.  The three tussle until Ivyleaf is pinned and Snowtuft was thrown loose.  As Brambleclaw raises a paw for the death blow, two blurs knock him off - Hollywish and Foxflight!  They professionally murder him, and Ivyleaf thanks Snowtuft for his help, and wishes him well.  As she thanks him, the gruesome aura all Dark Forest cats have lessens on Snowtuft, though it doesn’t completely fade.  Mousefur, standing nearby, goes I beg your PARDON that’s wild.  She peppers Snowtuft with questions, and the two race off to fight side by side.  Canon continues until...
Darkstripe and Brokenstar attack the Thunderclan camp, with Brokenstar heading straight for the nursery.  Sorreltail and Brackenfur nearly gleefully kill Darkstripe, as Honeyfern and Fercloud face off against Brokenstar.  She kills Honeyfern, and pins Ferncloud, but Yellowfang slams into her errant kit, and kills Brokenstar once more.  Yellowfang then lays Honeyfern somewhere safe, and sets herself up to guard the camp.  Canon continues until...
Crowfeather rushes to Thunderclan to find Swiftpool and the rest of his kits, after seeing Windclan safe.  Mapleshade leaps into his path, just as he sees Swiftpool in the distance.  The pair double team Mapleshade before she can spout any rhetoric about forbidden love.  Canon continues until...
Longstar faces off against Tigerstar, but the nearly blinded leader is slowly losing his strength.  Nearby, Spottedleaf tells Fireheart that his destiny awaits, and he takes off from the medicine den.  As Tigerstar stalks forward, Fireheart leaps from the shadows and latches onto Tigerstar’s throat.  Longstar charges, remembering all the cats dead or injured because of Tigerstar, and throws himself at his once-friend.  A yowl of pain echoes, and cuts off abruptly, sending the Dark Forest warriors fleeing.  Flamewish bolts out of camp, searching for her mate and brother, with her family close behind.  They find Longstar and Fireheart laying side by side, dying.  Flamewish rushes to them, screeching in grief, and her family surrounds the dying cats, and after a touching farewell to their family, the legendary leader and his legendary medicine cat pass, rising to Starclan with the others who passed on in the battle, as shining spirits.
Brightstar is instated as leader of Thunderclan, and chooses Hollywish as deputy.  Frostfoot and Whitestorm retire and join Purdy in the Elder’s Den.  The Dark Forest trainees are put on probation for at least a year.  Dovewing gets a heartfelt apology from Goldenheart, and the two reconcile.  Hollywish visits Fallen Leaves as often as she can, with other cats visiting him as well.  A few moons later, a loner named Fern asks if he can join Thunderclan.
And that’s the end of the Longstar AU!  It’s not the end of the story tough, just a transition into Brightstar au!  The rest might take a wee bit longer to post, but I’ll try to get something up eventually.  In the meantime, I have a list of cats to draw, like Wormwood, who kind of just showed up, and Snowtuft, who loudly insisted on more redemption arc please!
Again, thanks so much for the likes and subscribes!  I really appreciate it!
That’s all for now!
