And MC does what MC does, it doesn't matter if she doesn't know what Minhyeok tastes like, she sucks on Ppyong's face like he is the last ice cream cone in flaming summer. As if his face is a soft serve with zero net carbs, as if he is cannoli gelato, and her tongue is all over it, or in her words "like a dog that stuck his nose in a bowl as soon as the rein is released"

It tastes salty mixing with the sweet scent of flesh if you're wondering and she salivating all over his face. Going full Beelzebub on his face like she is slurping on the finest meal of her life. Hey at least, Ppyong enjoys it👍

Then when Ppyong asked if Minhyeok ever saw her this parched and MC recalled how Minhyeok always came into his room on time after she was done petting the cat, finding Nemo, sexy DIY, etc... you get the gist. MC speculated that Minhyeok was definitely outside waiting for her to be done like a peeping tom, you know, creeper behavior <3/jk

The thought makes MC dripping like a faucet, overflowing like a dam. Then they are back in their hands on investigating shenanigans and we get to the part where it would get the original poster banned on YouTube if they posted there. I also just gonna leave these here, MC is a player istg:

“Bad” Gift Giver Angel Headcanons

Just some ~silly and wholesome thoughts~ I put on disc but wanted to share here too! I'm a lil spammer. cw// Slight mention of violence at the end.

Ren/dacted with an Angel that gives weird ‘just because’ gifts but they don't realize how strange they are since he genuinely cherishes everything they give him. <3

🎁 Giant 5 pound gummy bear! Ren tries like hell to finish it, but his tummy hurts. He ends up preserving it in epoxy to put on a shelf. Half of its head is missing.

🎁 Angel finds one of those train sets that hung from the ceilings in some McDonalds stores way back in the day. (video) Ren sets it up in his room and rigs it to work as a morning wake up alarm. Or just lays down and watches it go when he’s trying to sleep. He might paint over Ronald's face though.

🎁 Customized Furby that looks like an eldritch horror? They thought it matched his vibes and now they regret giving it to him.

💝 When Angel stays over, it scares them when they wake up in the middle of the night. Ren imprisons it in his shrine room after Angel wakes him up in tears begging him to move it somewhere else. The battery died a long time ago, but sometimes Angel still hears it laughing through the walls.

🎁 The UGLIEST sweaters imaginable. They light up, they make noise, they itch, they burn the eyes of all who see them. Dude is overheating himself in the summer cause he just feels so loved every time he puts one on.

🎁 There’s a phase of food gadgets and utensils, despite neither of them being a decent cook. Angel is disappointed since some of the items simply don’t work the way they wanted, but Ren adores the small everyday use ones.

💝 A tabletop s'mores maker—it takes too long to burn marshmallows the way Angel likes, but Ren is endlessly patient about it while he hands them a blowtorch. Tiny novelty gumball machine that he puts on his desk and fills with mint chocolate candies. Hello Kitty waffle maker but they both keep burning it.

💝 A pizza cutter shaped like an axe, Thor’s hammer meat tenderizer that he uses incorrectly, cat paw oven mitts, tongs, and serving spoons. Imagine this tatted, grumpy eboy pulling a frozen pizza out of the oven with his cute little paws??? He totally wears the matching apron if Angel asks.

🎁 It’s almost suspicious how he’s never surprised at a gift, but Angel still tries to catch him off guard. They’ll not so discreetly leave tiny presents around his apartment for him to find. Whether they’re just love notes, weird greeting cards for holidays he wasn’t aware of, or hand sized plushies in brightly colored capsules so he can experience some type of surprise at the very least. Even so, he always spots them immediately, but pretends it's taking him a few hours or so to notice anything different. Once he 'finds' one he'll teasingly thank them for the scavenger hunt.

🎁 Ren absolutely SEETHES on the inside whenever anyone else gets a gift, no matter how ridiculous it is. He wants the exact same thing immediately and drops the most obvious hints possible.

💝 A hideous, singing, wall mounted fish for Teo’s birthday? Ren’ll talk all about how he’s always found them entertaining, his favorite fish is a bass—what do you mean he used to make a weird face whenever he caught one in Stardew? The moment it gets thrown away he’s digging through the garbage and bashing Teo over the head with it for not appreciating such a thoughtful present.

Alright just got to chapter ten of The Lightning Thief and I have more thoughts.

So, first off : I stay firmly rooted in my opinion that Luke is great. I love him, I bet his hugs are great. He and Percy have a cool brotherly sort of friendship going on. Ngl ? Percy and Luke found family sounds GREAT to me. God knows that poor boy (Percy) could use someone like him (Luke) to look after him. (Sadly with Percy going off with Annabeth and Grover now it seems we'll see less of him, which is a crime imo. Give me my wholesome older bro character. Hope dies last tho, so I'll just hope I can get more of him over the course of the book and the rest of the series !) But also, the hint with his quest ? Naw that backstory is going to be SAD, my poor baby. I will cry over him. I may have only known him for a few chapters but damn, he's my favorite. Offical favorite. Like he deserves for radiating the biggest Teedy bear, Big Bro, Green Flag vibes in the entier series besides our beloved MC Percy. Second off, uh- the gods are sort of dicks ? Like, you are telling me that Poseidon was just A-okay with abandoning Percy for all his life and ONLY claimed him bc he needed him ???? Not cool ! But also, the implications of this ???? And the fact that apparently Percy is being send out on a quest at- what ? 12 ? 13 ? That is NOT safe, and the gods are apparently fine with it too ?????? Not to MENTION what happened with that Thalia girl !? Honestly, the fact that Zeus broke that sacred oath first did not surprise me, but also Hades wtf ?????? That's an innocent kid ! She isn't at fault here you idiot. That entier sittuation is some A+ child neglect and endangerment aswell as what I gotta assume attempted murder, someone call CPS on those guys or I will do it myself. What a bunch of a-holes. On a third note, so the prophecy said that Percy would be betrayed by a friend. Which means I gotta scrap my previous suspicions of Clarisse or any Ares kid, they and Percy are NOT friends. My next best guess would be Annabeth. She's the next best friend of Percy, and she's on the quest with him which would give us good opportunities. She DID seem weirdly enthusiastic to go on a live threatening quest.

Not to mention that Annabeth is a child of Athena, and it was stated that she (Athena) has a rivalry with Poseidon going on. Maybe Athena's in on the plot to steal the Master Bolt and frame Poseidon due to a grudge from that, and Annabeth as her kid acts on her behalf.

But also, she's like- the only one I can reasonably imagine doing it. Besides here Percy has like, two other friends. Grover and Luke. Grover is the ultimate dork, but also has more than enough motives to specifically STAY loyal. Besides the obvious thing of getting his license, he's been Percy's oldest friend at that point. he cares for him. As for Luke, I just don't think he's the type to do that, yk ? As far as I've seen the guy is nothing but caring, he teached Percy and welcomed him ! Even going out of his way to train him when the other campers were avoiding him after he'd been claimed. Why would Luke do that if he'd just betray him at the end ? He's seemingly being written out of the book for now too, when should he get the chance to betray Percy ? (He did have that one weird line about looking evil that one time which confused me a bit ???? Ngl imma just assume he has a cool badass side, like the cool badass dude he is. Did I say that I really like Luke already ?) My fourth point : the line in the prophecy saying Percy'll fail to save what's most important will be him failing to save his Mom from the underworld. Hades' is built up to be the big bad, and he rules the underworld where Percy's mom is currently in. He cares a whole lot about her and Percy did think about saving her already. And last but not least, I think Annabeth betraying Percy will lead to him not being able to save his Mom. I'd imagine it'd go like this : Percy, Annabeth and Grover go to the underworld to get the Master Bolt from Hades (which I assume is the big bad) and to save Percy's mom. They manage to get the Master Bolt, and are about to save Percy's mom when Annabeth reveals herself and betrays them. Causing Percy and Grover to be unable to get Sally. And that was all ! PS: OMG OK I JUST STARTED WITH CHAPTER 10 AND I NEEDED TO GET THIS OUT WITHOUT WAITING FOR THE NEXT POST. I FUCKING LOVE LUKE, buddy sprinted up there so say goodbey AND he handed Percy those sneakers ?

Naw I'm convinced of my theory now. No WAY Luke could ever be a bad guy ! Why go through all that trouble just to betray Percy in the end ? But also, found family sense are going strong in me rn. Greenest Flag if I have ever seen one. BUT ALSO HE GIVES HEADPATS ? AKJFHQILUWEZBDIL I do still think he has some issues going on tho, poor lad. I hope he get's therapy and a good hug. he deserves it.

I’d just like to say that you and your comics about Lionblaze have made me care for him and his character more than canon ever could dream to, thank you. I never actually gave him much thought before and saw him as annoying, but now I’ve seen the possible potential he could have as a character because the booms just screwed up his personality, and I love seeing your Lionblaze content. I especially love seeing him as a med cat and him getting closer with Leafpool

Canon did him so dirty by wasting his potential making him ''standard warrior main character''

The canon will give pieces of his personality, but all these pieces are so incredibly under-exploited and incomplete

As an example, him having moral OCD in PoT is genuinely a really good idea knowing the extent of his power, but they just throw this plotline under the rug in the next book (knowing that it's very hard to get rid of OCD lol) Like we see him losing it in the mountains, we see him going ballistic on Crowfeather and Heathertail. Lionblaze knows how dangerous he can be if he isn't always holding back in battle, and it scares him so bad he has vivid nightmares about killing his loved ones. I think it's the first real time in Warriors we had a main character who had the full potential of becoming a villain the moment he stops holding back. Like that's genuinely really good storytelling, and they just??? throw it away in the next book like it never happened????

This dude kills Russetfur, which should have been his worst nightmare becoming reality. That's it, he finally killed someone. Because for just a few seconds, he got so worried about his leader being attacked and probably killed that he stopped holding back. And yet this is less of a plot point than the obviously accidental death of Flametail. Like Jayfeather tries to save a cat who is drowning and is called a murderer during a Gathering, but Lionblaze who kills Russetfur in front of at least 20 cats, that's fine he was just being silly. Like the writers were writing Lionblaze like crap on purpose at this point they had completely given up on him lmfao

We also see his compassionate and empathetic side shine a few times, mostly when he is the one who forgives Squilf and Leafpool the easiest and the fastest. Lionblaze idolizes Brambleclaw and shows a genuine affection for his dad several times and it's genuinely wholesome. Lionblaze has a few really sweet moments with Leafpool and Squilf in OotS :) i cherish these scenes so much.......

He isn't perfect of course, far from it, he can be a douche (mainly to Heathertail, Breezepelt and Dovewing), he is hot-headed and doesn't think before he speaks or acts, he struggles to communicate properly, he often has a weird tunnel-vision in OotS and doesn't listen to Dovepaw's problems with the care it deserves. For most of PoT, despite going through some tough training as an apprentice and later as a newly made warrior, he is almost completely oblivious to the fact that his own mentor Ashfur as a personal beef with him. As someone with the autism rizz, Lionblaze's communication skills are just so autistic to me. This dude has almost no friends, even his ex-apprentice Dovewing isn't on very friendly terms with him (understandable because he was a bad mentor tbh), he feels safe only around his close family, and messes up almost every friendship and relationship he has because he is incapable of communicating properly. Him trying to date Cinderheart was just Lionblaze being absolutely incapable of understanding her point of view, and then proceeding to literally self harm by letting a ShadowClan massacre him to show Cinderpelt he could be harmed on his own will ?? Like what goes on in the Lionblaze's head ?? is he ok ???

Also they could have made him a medicine cat.... I yearn for the Lionblaze medicine cat plotline so much...... Lionblaze being so incredibly scared of hurting anyone again after his nightmares, or after killing Russetfur, that he just drops all the warrior duties and hides in Leafpool's den all day...... also Jayfeather could have been a warrior 100%, we clearly see him fight very well when he is in tandem with one of his siblings, he is capable of running on ThunderClan territory with no issues once he learned the layout, like there's so excuse anymore StarClan just wanted to ruin his life for entertainment

Another post! This time featuring what the antagonists for my AU might look like. While Akane and Nekomaru are locked in the rest is up to changes in the future. Kyoko and Celestia were put on a poll but the results I believe I didn't set up properly, so now I'm amending that somewhat. I drew both sets in these sketches, and when enough time has passed I'll set up another poll, properly this time on strawpoll.

As for some design explanations and lore you can check under the cut :)

Kyoko and Makoto I believe are pretty straightforward here, I gave Kyoko a neckerchief that goes pretty far down to give her that sort of upper class educated look, while Makoto I gave a smart little jacket. There's only so far you can go with the normal boy, but I also made his hair fluffier and nicer. His ahoge is there but it's normally combed back, and only springs to full life when he's in murder mode.

Kyoko joined her dad in leaving the tradition of detective work behind and entered the business world where she used her analytical mind to be the best damn stock investor in the world, while definitely something she excels at it's not something she finds particularly fulfilling.

Makoto is a wholesome, normal dude who loves writing books about wholesome stories with good endings, while his family was and still is normal, he was captured once by unscrupulous scientists wanting to explore Despair and its mysterious qualities. Makoto never gave in, but in his suffering developed an alter ego who was grimly invested in justice above all else.

Sparkling Justice is a night haunter, who exclusively goes around killing murderers and evildoers against Makoto's wishes. Choosing to right any injustice he sees in the world, allowing for happy endings for the victims, surely?

I went hard with celes and hifumi a long time ago in previous designs, so here they are with similar designs as I gave them before. Hifumi wears a suit vest, and a button-up underneath while still keeping his bag... which may or may not be more than just a simple bag...

Celestia was born a normal kid and absolutely hated that life, so when a relative of hers from Europe visited she begged them and her family to go with them and she did. She grew up exploring Europe, and would propose money-making schemes to her family abroad and would eventually be able to fund the glamorous lifestyle she always thought she deserved.

Hifumi is just a writer-focused version of himself, though with a particular love for action-romance novels and fiction rather than strictly heart-melting novels like Touko. He's a sweet boy but very weird and horny for Celestia, so he's completely useless around her. He's basically a tool... just like...

ROBO-JUSTICE is a serial killer known for their modus operandi of targeting particularly attractive and very mean women with hammers or blunt force trauma. This alter was formed after one particularly awful night of bullying resulting in Hifumi getting thrown into an abandoned industrial park and nearly dying from exposure to wires and sharp metal. Despite this though, it is almost entirely subservient to Celestia whenever it surfaces from Hifumi's mind.

Akane and Nekomaru I've already drawn before, but I think it'd be nice to give some of the backstory I've planned for them.

Akane is a well-meaning, brash, and reckless person whose freakish natural strength pairs with a luck that does everything except help her directly. Random and unpredictable, Akane desperately tries everything she can to get into extremely unpredictable and dangerous situation for her luck to grace those around her with the best outcome from her misfortune, even if it means hurting a lot of people in the process.

Nekomaru was inspired by the nonstop hard work he saw the nurses had to do when they were treating his heart condition. So inspired that he made it his solemn vow to join them whatever it took, leading him to become the ultimate nurse. He would, however, be the first of his classmates to fall to the despair of the mastermind, as his well-meaning nature drew him into a trap he could not predict.

For Rantaro and Tenko I took inspiration from M. Bison(Dictator) and Criss Angel specifically. These are the most experimental designs I have as you can tell, but I plan on working on them a lot.

Tenko's story involves her becoming the head of her little "dojo" and straight up turning it into a cult, with her as the ultimate supreme leader and the greatest fighter in the world.

Rantaro started off doing magic for her sisters, and got so good at making them happy that one of them introduced his magic act to the world through sites like youtube, causing him to become a sensation drooled over by millions of girls around the world.

he would be well known for his cute aegyo-like (tskr in this case) acting. he would rarely do it though to keep the fans thirsty, and he probably does it sub consciously so fans are well fed.

his usual outfit would be a knitted sweater and jeans, he wears them so much to the point fans freak out if they see his arms, and maybe his biceps too. (wink wink)

this man would be the classified as the mischievous jokester in the group, despite his dirty jokes and weird humor, he still manages to make you laugh!

everytime he would be slightly clumsy, fans love him for it. sure, he might wish to be less clumsy or not being clumsy at all, but fans will still love him no matter what!

speaking of fans, his solo fanbase would be the most loyal one out of the 5. And by loyal, i mean they will fight for this man anywhere. (i mean, i would too.)

he would also be friends with other groups, and sometimes you don't even know if their friends or not. he might be friends with the whole industry and no one would know.

while mysta's the mischievous fox, luca's the bundle of sunshine! he definitely has his moments where he's like some clueless dog despite being such a huge guy.

of course, fans call him a himbo, but dont underestimate him! he surely has some trick up his sleeves. he for sure knows how to push his fan's buttons.

his pictures usually include shu! they're such a powerful duo that adds a lot to the group (ill explain in shu's part). his bright smile will surely make you want to buy his photocards.

we all know shu is a smart man, and he knows how to handle his fans. he would occasionally do fanservice, but will still keep you starving for more. "more thirsty = more demand" he thinks.

cue the photocards, he rarely posts selfies but he does take them privately and sends them in for staff to make them into photocards. sure, he would post some on twitter but most photocards are rare to see. that's why fans thank luca so much, luca includes shu in his selfies a lot to feed the fans (thank you luca..).

his vocals would be underrated yet overappreciated by his fans. you heard those growls, high notes, the power he has in his voice can drive fans crazy.

his relationships with the members are all so sweet and balanced. him with vox would be charismatic with all the pictures and fanservice crumbs. him with ike would be intelligent with the song writing and strategic marketing. him with mysta would be sibling-like with the funny bantering and one braincell. him with luca would be adorable with the cute and wholesome moments.

Even as a non-shipper, two things always jump out at me about the current air in regards to Jikook.

1) The fact that people can't even ship them jokingly. People will scream into a pillow about JK and his crush on RM, about Jimin and Jin being chaos cuties, or about Sope being...just Sope and no one gives a fuck. But the moment Jikook is the conversation topic, everyone's always "aw such besties". Like you never see anyone call JK whipped for JM or vice versa even in the way they do with other non serious ships? It's really fucking weird

2) I'm no expert on SK military procedures. But if there were two dudes who enlisted as part of a program with the purpose of staying together 18 months. To protect them both, to make them better soldiers, to help them serve their country? Why would you then go out of your way to separate them? My BFF has been in the military for years and he's been serving with the same team for most of that time. You bet your ass no one is gonna rip tight nit groups apart, that's incredibly demoralising. Which you don't need on the base that is so close to the literal border of North Korea. Like why is this even a discussion point in the shipping community? This is the furthest from romantic or cute or whatever I can think of? Our 7 men are risking their lives and mental health every day for their country, after holding up the economy almost single handedly mind you, without being asked if they wanted to. And People use this mandatory enlistment to further rumours about them? Kinda insane. I won't ever celebrate what we hear about BTS and their training, because I only want to know they're safe. Let them do this job in peace

I've noticed the same weirdness around Jikook. People can't even kid about it without getting awkward and making it weird. I love Sope and NamJin and JinKook even Yoonmin, basically every ship/friendship pair but Taekook (because the cult ruined the fun for me). I don't know why it's so hard for other people to love Jikook the same way. See them as lovers, see them as besties, see them as brothers - their relationship is still lovely and wholesome, and I think it should be admired no matter what anyone believes is the true nature of their feelings for one another.

I agree also that it makes no sense to separate men who enlist under the buddy system. The government makes them jump through too many hoops just to qualify for the option. After all that, they'd never pull them apart. Like you said, close-knit units are part of the driving force of any military. A good team can perform miracles. Jimin and Jungkook enlisted together, they are assigned together, they are in the same dorm, the same camp, the same everything. That's the way they planned it and the way they wanted it. If I see one more cultist or solo stan playing the "mean old BigHit made them do it" card, I really will go insane.

[1st of September, 23:53]

''Sorry Donghyuck, find someone better than me, I'll miss you'' You said before hanging up while you were on your way to the airport. Tears fell out of your eyes and your face turned red, it was heartbreaking for both of you but had to accept it to pursue your dreams. After a few hours, you were walking toward the gate hoping that someone would show up to wave a last goodbye to you but there wasn't until you recognized a familiar figure. It was Mark but there was someone else, Donghyuck.

Why would he show up after you just broke up with him? And before you could realize it, he was hugging you with all his strength but without making you feel uncomfortable, you could feel his tears all over your shoulder. ''Can you just stay with me forever'' You were speechless, no words would come out of your mouth. ''Donghyuck, let her go, her plane is leaving'' That's when you finally saw Mark, his face was weird or maybe it was an unknown expression you didn't know but you could feel him avoiding the situation. Was he hiding something? ''Donghyuck, what kind of boyfriend won't let go of his girlfriend who's about to start a new life'' you asked trying to separate from him, ''me, that's me, I don't want you to leave me believe it or not'' Everyone could tell he was heartbroken, his voice was cracking and his tears were dunking my shirt.

''Donghyuck, let, her, go'' Mark said which surprised us, he wasn't that typical serious guy but this was new. He sounded angry and annoying, you could see some almost invisible tears falling down his cheek. Donghyuck finally let you go but before you turned he grabbed your cheeks with both of his hands and pulled you close, ''If this is our last kiss I'll make you regret going thru that gate'' and both of your lips were together, this kiss was indeed a very passionately one, like if he wouldn't be able to see you again, well, kind off. Your lips were soft but dangerously addicting, it was like poison and the more he leaned to kiss you the more he knew he was gonna suffer. You pushed him back and said waved goodbye to Mark who was clearly awkward and before finally going you whispered Donghyuck, ''Just remember that I will always love you Hyuck'' and you left.

That moment was one of Donghyuck's nightmares, the immediately thought of you never coming back was tormenting him, you were his first everything and you two were inseparable. ''Donghyuck, let's go'' but he just followed him in silence. They both sat down in the car and Donghyuck leaned to the window to watch the views of the city or to think about you, but it was clear what he was doing. The ride back home was awkward and quiet, very quiet. The heartbroken dude would normally blast some music or talk about anything, but not this time. Everyone could see how your leaving was affecting him a lot more than you thought, wouldn't a boyfriend support his lover's decision? But Donghyuck was childish and still wanted whatever he wished for not this time, he couldn't.

[2nd of September, 13:27]

The official first morning without you, Donghyuck still lived with his parents so they could see how upset their son was because of your leave. He woke up very late due to crying all night ''Honey, do you want to eat something'' his mom said when she realised he woke up, ''It's okay mom, I'll do something myself'' But his mom wasn't satisfied with that answer, ''My baby has grown so much that he's experiencing his first break up'' She couldn't help but tease him even if he wasn't in the right mood. ''Mom, stop I'm very sad for real'' Donghyuck said annoyed hoping that his clingy mom would stop it. ''Honey, if you want to vent you have us, okay? You only lost her not us'' And then they both hugged each other, Donghyuck was already kinda rebellious towards his parents but all he needed right now was that comfort coming from her mother.

Today Donghyuck only stayed home, not feeling like doing anything, not even practise his daily hour of guitar, he ignored all the texts his friends sent him but he did saw your Instagram story, you were posing at the airport with your suitcase, but it wasn't your city's one, it was the arrival one. Donghyuck could feel the happiness in your eyes and didn't notice how he was staring at the pic for a couple of minutes already. ''Lee Donghyuck stop looking at that picture, or I'm taking your phone'' His mother discovered what he was up to, she didn't want her own son to look sad so of course she had to. He hid his phone in order to not look at you anymore. Today he felt like it wouldn't end and it was taking a lot of time to become night time. When it finally did he just went back to sleep hoping that it was all a dream.

[9th of September, 16:09]

A week has passed since you left, and Donghyuck returned to his daily routine. Wake up, practise the guitar, hang out with friends, play videogames, do group practise and finally go to bed. He still missed you of course and all his friends could see it from just looking at him. They were all at the garage to practise as a group and as always Donghyuck was distracted again because of his overthinking since you left and Hendery, the drummer, hit his head with his stick to wake him up. ''OUCH DUDE WHAT THE FUCK IS YOUR PROBLEM'' He screamed and let out all his accumulated anger which was inside him, ''Wake up, we repeated the song over 10 times you dumbass'' Then he realised how exhausted they were because of him and his thoughts, I mean it was normal but he knew he gotta put you aside.

[30th of September, 19:02]

By now he would already have forgotten about you, right? Well, not exactly. He would not think about you all the time, but every time you were mentioned in a conversation he would have a short stage of depression until he recovered and all over again. Mark also didn't talk that much with him since you left, even if Donghyuck texted him he would either ignore it or say ''Sorry I was busy'' but Donghyuck knew it was because you left, although he didn't know Mark had feelings for you.

[1st of January, 02:02]

New Year, a time of happiness around your family, friends, and lovers. Unfortunately, Donghyuck thought about how when you entered his life always celebrated New Year's by yourselves near the lake. At this point, he knows how much he liked you. How come you are always on his mind? This time Donghyuck was with his family, he doesn't dislike them but having too many people around kinda stressed him so he automatically walked to the lake you two would always go, it was like muscle memory.

When he arrived he expected you to be there with him, like a clique movie. But of course you didn't, he sat down on the grass watching the bright moon under him. He opened Instagram to see what you were up to and clicked on your stories. It was a group mirror selfie with some of your new friends with the text ''Happy New Year ❤️️'' Donghyuck wanted to text you Happy New Year too but since September you both decided to not talk to not make it awkward, you two didn't even end up as friends so for Donghyuck it was already over and needed to move on. That's right, his New Year resolution was to get over you.

[6th of June, 15:11]

On a scale of 1 to 10, he would be half over you, it was great progress, but the thing was for that to happen he needed to overwork himself which resulted in too much stress for him to be able to control it. Jeno, NCT's bassist, was the one who always took care of him when it happened because when he was sick his fever would go high and then have constant dizziness. And today was his birthday, his first one without you on his side, today he wanted to practise, a lot more than usual but then Jeno noticed and told everyone in the group about Donghyuck's condition they made him not go to practise and rest. He spent the rest of the day on his bed and when it was nighttime his friends came to celebrate while he was laying on bed, not the best experience but neither the worst.

[4th of August, 09:41]

Almost a year has passed since you left, Donghyuck knew at this point how much time has passed and wouldn’t be weird of he still didn’t miss your touch, face, and everything he could imagine of. Today Mark texted him.

Mark: hey dude, do you still have any photos of y/n? If you do could you send it to me?

He didn’t expext that, Mark didn’t talked with him that much, in fact, since you left they only talked 6 times.

Donghyuck: why?

To be honest, he knew why. It was probably for your birthday which was next week and wanted to make a gift with it

Mark: for her birthday dude

Donghyuck was feeling kinda jealous because it probably meant that Mark and you still had contact and not him.

Donghyuck: do you two keep contact?

He went straight for it.

Mark: yea why? We shouldn’t?

Donghyuck: lets meet

Mark: rn?

Donghyuck: yea yk where

But in reality, he wasn't sure why he wanted to meet, maybe he would beat the crap out of Mark, or maybe he would have an old small talk with him. The place where he wanted to meet was the park where you, Mark, and he used to go whenever you three hang out. When Donghyuck arrived, Mark was already there but he changed, he dyed his hair blond and grew it, he also had an eyebrow piercing and his fashion style changed. Mark was the typical good boy and since Donghyuck haven’t seen him in so long he didn’t expect that. “hey Mark, since when do you smoke?” Mark wasn’t ashamed of smoking in public, instead, he was a gangster-like dude. “Just happened to be so, why did you wanna meet tho” his speech form didn’t change, which made Donghyuck a little more comfortable.

“Yo relax, I just arrived, we have plenty of time, also happy late birthday'' Mark thanked him since he didn't text him. Those two sat down on the nearest bench there was. ''So if you guessed, it's about y/n''−''Yea I guessed it''. ''Do you keep in contact with her?'' Mark knew what he wanted to ask him, it was pretty obvious. ''Yea, we talk sometimes, you don't right?'' he was right. Donghyuck and you were complete strangers at this point. ''So what do you want me to do? Tell her you miss her? That would make you such a pussy to be honest'' Donghyuck's life consisted of trying not to think about you at this point. ''Have you ever experienced a really hurtful breakup, Mark?'' He tried to attack because he knew Mark didn't do relationships, nobody knew why but everyone let him be. ''No, but if I ever do I wouldn't be a crybaby like you'' Well Mark maybe has already a crush on someone or he really isn't interested in dating. ''By the way, how's your romantic life going? As you see mines going downhill dude'' Everyone would be interested in someone's love life, right? ''I think you know I'm not interested in dating, but my mind might be changing you know?'' That was surprising, did he find someone? ''Damn Mark, go ahead before someone steals them''. The conversation kept going for hours until they realised it was time to go back to their homes, it has been a long time since they had a real conversation so it was a very pleasing time.

[13th of August, 00:01]

Today was your birthday, that's the first thing Donghyuck thought when he saw the hour, that was the first birthday that you two didn't spend together. He was tucked in his bed when he heard someone scream happy birthday, right, today was Jaemin's birthday, one of his roommates. To not think about you anymore he decided to have some fun there too, ''Hey Jaem, happy birthday'' He said while stealing a piece of fried chicken, ''Thanks Donghyuck, where's my gift tho'' ''motherfucker, you want a kiss or something?'' The 4 roommates drank to celebrate it and ended when everyone dozed off, probably like 5AM but at least Donghyuck didn't think about you as much as he expected to.

[2 years later, 20th of December]

Donghyuck surely moved on but there was still a small part of him missing you, or a big part, or half but he still didn't date anyone neither put interest in other girls, his friends joked about you leaving a trauma in him and turned gay or something but he didn't care at all. Donghyuck didn't overwork himself anymore which was a relief for everyone. Mark and him talk more than they used to since you left and Donghyuck got used to his new self.

It was almost Christmas time and his parents wanted to go out for vacation and decided to go to the city you were in, they asked his son if he wanted to go too. He spent all this morning thinking about the decision. If he went, he surely would go and see you but he wouldn't want to leave if so, wouldn't it be easier for both of you if he just stayed in his city? And of course his decision was to not go, he was almost over you so it was the most reasonable reason he could find.

[3 months before you cameback, 29th of March]

You told Mark you were coming back because of the 'failure' you were having in your new life, he sounded very excited and quickly told everyone he was close with, including Donghyuck. When Mark first told him he thought it was some kind of joke but it turned out to be true. Since then he would be dreaming of the moment he meets you, what should he say? When will it be? And most importantly, would you still love him?.

❥ Kaigaku has turned into a demon, a mistake that he had made before. But that doesn't stop him from working at the Demon Slayer Corps to repent for everything that he did in the past. He wanted to help other people and stop others from committing the same mistake as he did. He had managed to free himself from Muzan's grasp and you may wonder why? It's all because of his love for you.

❥ Kaigaku is still cocky as fuck sometimes. If he wouldn't be, then who is he? But then you managed to create a certain balance within him, despite all his moral dilemmas. The Demon would usually soften up when he saw you in his missions, making him want to protect you more than ever now that he has more power to do so.

❥ And when we say power, we mean it. Kaigaku's powerful, and thankfully, he's using it for the Corps and not against you all. A part of you is sad that Kaigaku would eventually see you get old and eventually die, but that's what life is. You're sad that he chose to be a demon before, but you're also happy that he's trying his best to do lots of great things despite being one.

❥ You will sometimes see Kaigaku doing some weird-ass contest with other slayers for fun, even if he knows he will win. This usually makes you smile, as somehow your lover starts to have his own group of friends. Unlike before, when he was too busy in his own world.

❥ Kaigaku seems to be wiser now. With the way he speaks and deals with problems. He's a demon, but he makes sure to resolve things as fast as possible now that "We don't have much time." He has all the time in the world, but he still doesn't want you to feel alone.

❥ And yes, when we say fights, we mean that Kaigaku could kill other demons in one slash before they could even touch you. He's protective and very loving. You know that. So, at the end of the fights, he would usually be the one who gained wounds.

❥ He clearly knows that he could heal those wounds in one instant, but Kaigaku would let them on his body because of two things. The first is because he wants to feel human again. He kind of misses that. The second is because he wants you to take care of him.

❥ A demon lover also means that he's active at night. And when we put night and activity together, it'll definitely end with you screaming in pleasure as he shows you how much he has missed you.

❥ You love Kaigaku so much, despite all his flaws. So even if you know that you're weaker than him now, you still do your best to protect him and make him happy. You will sometimes find yourself sitting on the engawa with him, just looking at the stars after a long night.

"Do you miss it?" "Miss what?" "The sun?" "Oh that. Yes."

❥ Kaigaku would often be saddened because he couldn't watch the sunrise and sunset with you now, even if he wanted to.

❥ You would often end up embracing your demon lover and soothing him, sharing his dream to see the sun once again.

❥ But of course, one day, you'll never know if a cure will come and your lover will finally come back to you in his original form. All you feel now is too much love for Kaigaku. As long as you're here, you'll definitely keep him together and away from the demonic things he sometimes wants to try.

WWAAAH THIS ISSUE OH MY GOD!!!! I think i start half of my reaction-to-a-new-issue asks with "omg this issue" BUT I CANT HELP IT LITERALLY THIS ISSUE ALMOST MADE ME CRY (in a good way). im so happy for this little blue man and his family starting to patch up some!!! Slugpelt opening up about her trauma to her kids, i really love your portrayal on love-bombing and manipulation with Cashew. I think it's really important for things like that to be portrayed properly in media without it being romanticized. And obviously yeah SLUGPELT admits she romanticized it when she was younger because he was the only one to treat her that way and he was HERS but you dont romanticize it with your writing and !!!! literally i admire the way youre able to portray these things so well in writing so much. And honestly those lines of "he was the only one to tell me those things" and the fact that thats what got her so hooked to him,,, stung a little bit bc its like very vaguely relatable to me and auuuh my heart!! I'm glad she realized that he didn't love her but the fact that she loved him while knowing it was just a game to him hurt a bit. i was not expecting to vaguely relate to the equivalent of a middle-aged mother but slay i guess. And Daff's reaction,,, and Slugpelt's response to that? Mannnn my HEART i love seeing Slugpelt come around and actually try to be motherly to her kids. i love her this is a slugpelt fan club. NOW PINEPAW COMING OUT TOO!!! Dude. When i first read the line of him saying "now if were all spilling secrets.." I honestly thought of the skull thing at first. But then after like two seconds and getting a little further i was like OH MY GOD HE'S GOING TO COME OUT ISNT HE. I have so many thoughts about that scene but I cannot materialize them into cohesive words. just. the whole thing was so well done. and im glad it went well for him. His whole spiral of "oh god i messed up why cant i just be normal and-" really hit me so hard and then proceeded to run me over twice, as someone who is gay that is often a thought process i would fall into, so seeing it portrayed in something is so validating man. but everyones reaction. slugpelt comforting him and being supportive, reassuring him its not weird, and that he's ok. asphodel having a look of guilt initially, assumably because of all of the times she would poke and prod at him for "needing to have kits some day" (call back to one of the first issues) , and then instantly teasing him over how she's seen him look at cormorant. Daffodil,,, man i was honestly worried about her at first because I didnt know how the implication of pine liking the same cat as her would come off to her, but her reaction??? priceless. literally so wholesome. i love how she just sees it as something exciting and something they can relate and bond over, i honestly wasnt expecting her to react like that but at the same time she generally does seem like a good sport so im not surprised in the end. seems in character for her. literally i love her. sweet baby child. literally the whole pinepaw coming out section almost made me cry it filled me with so much joy and love i love these silly little cats so much. going to be thinking about this so much for the next week istg

TYSM I'm super glad you liked the issue!! I really wanted to get across Slugpelt's perspective, to help understand why she could be taken in so thoroughly by someone like Cashew. She's got virtually no support structure in her life, and has been shown pretty much nothing but rejection her entire life, so when someone actually (seems to) choose her it means a lot. And since she's been shown to be such a distant and sometimes hurtful mother, I made sure to try and show why she is that way.

Pinepaw chose to share delights instead of horrors today! He already got everything he wants to talk about with those bones outside him, and Cootstorm did ask him not to tell anyone else.

YEAH the coming out scene was really fun and cathartic to write tbh, and actually I wasn't gonna include it in my initial planning but decided I needed to. I had considered the possibility of his family reacting badly (since they do live in a traditionalist group) but in the end like... I don't want to. "Confused but supportive" feels much better narratively and character-wise. You're right about why Asphodelpaw looked guilty too, especially since she's figuring some things out about herself as well. Daffodilpaw is my sweet kitty and she may be a little confused but she got the spirit <3

Just a Taste

Kofu x GN!Reader

Kofu likes giving you little tastes of his cooking! You're his favorite "customer." You want to give him something in return. Has less Kofu than intended, but I like the idea! A bit platonic, but who knows what could happen? Also, wrote this to get back into writing, so sorry if it's different to my usual stuff. I genuinely can't tell :')

Also, a Gimmighoul follows you around, but it isn't yours. It just... keeps finding you in random places.

(I know it isn't the same Gimmighoul that follows you in the games, I just think it'd be cute if this one in particular followed your expy)

Tone/Ending: Wholesome, Platonic (although that's up to interpretation)

"And THIS is the Tofu Puddin'!"

The man hands you a spoonful of the dessert. You eat it, taking a moment to really take in the texture, the aroma, the flavor, each component coming together for a light and fragrant treat.

"Ooooh, that one's REALLY good!"

Kofu's face splits into a wide grin.

"Ah, I knew you'd like it! I made this one especially to yer likin'!"

"Oh?"

Your eyes light up, causing him to do the same.

"Oh! I was just, er... I had a reason, me mind just isn't reelin' anythin' in at the moment..."

His expression showed he was being completely genuine. He really did have a reason, he just forgot.

"Haha, hey, that's fine!" You said after making sure nothing was left in your mouth. "Making spontaneous recipes is my specialty!"

He made a face like he just learned something amazing.

"Oh really now? That's quite interestin', what do you make?"

You... grin. Nervously at that. Memories of the most unhinged flavor combos flash through your mind. You actually aren't half-bad at making food, but for some reason, the good stuff is eluding you. He continues to look at you expectantly, as if he doesn't notice your demeanor change.

He does, he just doesn't want to accidentally rush you.

"Well, I can make a mean... eh..."

You gesture, not remembering the name.

"It's uh... I can't really remember what the name is, but uh, maybe you could tell by looking at a photo??"

You shrug and look at him with a "I have no clue, man" sorta face. You would be slightly embarrassed trying and failing to recall a dish like this in front of a professional chef, if said chef wasn't Kofu, the chillest dude you knew. He was so chill in fact, that this wasn't even a weird situation for you.

You have no idea what endeared you to him so much that he always gives you enough samples to count as a meal whenever you visit Cascarrafa, but you appreciate it. You couldn't really splurge on his food like you wish you could, so him giving you tastes of everything, as well as basically providing lunch for you was a development you were grateful for. One day you'll be a normal customer, you just have to budget for it.

"Heya, you all righty there?"

You're still shrugging, so you put your arms down.

"Oh, yeah! Sorry, I uh... was just thinkin' about somethin'..."

You unconsciously took on his accent for a moment, which causes him to huff in amusement.

"Ah, I see the ocean's graced yer tongue?"

"Eh?"

Your face morphs into one of sheer confusion. He simply laughs.

"Teehee, nothing, nothing at all..."

You try to think about what you did to prompt that statement, but nothing comes to mind, so you silently accept what he said and tuned back into the conversation at hand.

"Anyway, you're free to keep the dish it was served in. This batch was made especially for you after all, it's a special occasion!"

He gently pushes the Flamigo dish toward you, which you're eager to take and polish off, but you feel guilty.

"Thank you, I uh- I wish I could pay you back-"

"Nonsense! You don't owe me a thing, ya hear?"

You nod, accepting his kind gesture, but you still wished to do something for him.

You walk out of Kofu Lounge, now empty Flamigo dish in hand. It really is a nice little thing, well made and very cute. You can see yourself using it for drinks and desserts a lot.

You don't even get four steps away from the door when you hear the familiar sound of a vaguely insectoid cry. You jump, head swiveling toward the sound.

"Ah, Gimmini! What's up?"

It chirps a little, acknowledging your question, but doesn't try to show you specifically what the answer is. You sigh.

"Why won't you let me catch you, dude?? We could be like, best friends!"

The Gimmighoul doesn't respond to this, but the little smile widens just enough for you to notice before going back to how it usually is.

"AH-HAH! So you're NOT repulsed by me!"

The man that usually stands near the entrance at this time glances at you funny. You let out an awkward little laugh before grabbing Gimmini.

"Sorry, talking to my friend, we'll go!"

You then briskly walk off to the nearest Flying Taxi.

You're lifting Gimmini's leg, observing it as it sits on your counter eating a snack.

"Dude, how do you follow me so well? You only have short little legs-"

At your comment, it drops the bean you gave it, letting out an indignant little gargle before turning away and crossing its arms.

"Nonononono, I'm impressed!" You start, bending down with your hands clasped. "I don't mean it in a bad way."

It keeps its arms folded, but it turns slightly more toward you, one eye opening to look at your pleading face. It then seemingly rolls its eyes, an amused smile creeping on its face before giving up the facade of hurt. It leans in to hug your face, causing you to chuckle.

"Good, that's better..."

You're happy it doesn't seem to have actually been hurt. You don't even know if it's ever hugged you before, closest thing being one time it held onto your leg when spooked by a Murkrow.

Suddenly, a thought comes to mind. A joke of course, but a moment ruining thought all the same.

"Hey, wanna help me rob a bank?"

You feel it pause for a moment before backing up a little. You turn head-on to see its face, portraying an emotion you're not quite sure you're reading correctly.

"Don't worry, I'm joking! I'd never rob a bank, it's..."

You momentarily space out.

"...not a good idea."

Gimmini glares at you for a moment before getting up. You imagine it feels larger than it is, but its puffed-out chest and balled "fists" make it look like a cute little bug trying to look aggressive. You snicker under your breath before you can stop it, causing it to look at you and make that same gargling noise from earlier.

"Haha, sorry, you're just so cute!" You say earnestly.

It grumbles the best it can with its weird metallic vocal cords before letting up its stiff pose. You sigh, both out of relief and because you now see what's going on with you.

"Sorry, sorry," you lean your back against the counter, staring at the ceiling. "I got a lot on my mind is all."

Gimmini now seems curious, letting out an inquisitive little chatter before picking the bean it dropped back up, taking a bite.

"Heh, I wanna repay Kofu for his kindness, but I feel like no matter what I do or get, it won't really be enough. Not to mention, have you HEARD how many people admire the guy?? He probably has someone doing something for him all the time!"

Gimmini is listening quite intently to your mini-rant, as if considering something. It then suddenly freezes and cries out as if realizing something. You sit up and turn to it.

"Eh? What's up?"

Gimmini jumps up, tossing the rest of the bean to the side before running toward the door. It urges you to follow it, so you do.

"Hey! Slow down!"

You're having trouble keeping up with its bounding. It doesn't turn towards you, but you can almost feel the smirk on its face.

"Hahah, proving yourself huh? Fun! Wha-"

You stop for a second, unable to keep up with the seemingly endless energy of a Pokémon.

"Sorry for ever doubtin' ya, man!" You pant out. "Please go easy on me, I'm only human!"

You then suddenly remember the countless times Kofu's had to abruptly run off to do stuff, from auctions to meetings, and he seemed to be a completely unstoppable force unless he got distracted.

You feel your face heat up a little. That man was an anomaly to you.

"Ok, um-" You look up at the Pokémon in front of you, waiting for you to be able to follow again.

"Ugh! I'm good, I'm good..."

It nods before continuing on its way. Breathing heavily, you follow it until it reaches a small crevasse in the side of a cliff. You tilt your head a little at the sight.

"What's all this?"

It doesn't respond, simply crawling in. You stand there, waiting for whatever it had in store until you see... a treasure chest emerge?

"What?? H- you had your chest the whole time? Why don't you use it?"

The Gimmighoul opens the chest and makes a sad gurgling noise, but it still doesn't seem to want to directly answer your question. Fair enough.

Instead, it uses the space it now has out in the open to dig through the piles of coins until it finds something and brings it up to you.

Your eyes widen.

"A PEARL!?"

You cover your mouth, looking around to make sure nobody's around.

"No, no, absolutely not! That's your treasure!"

The Gimmighoul stares at you before silently holding it out more, as if saying "Ok?? Take it."

You shudder a little.

"Nooooooo waaaaay. This? That's yours. I don't need anything from you, honest!"

It just now hit you how much money this Pokémon has compared to most people, probably. But you still didn't want it to give you any of its treasure.

"I don't need jewls, or cash. I need a really good gift idea! But like-"

A thought hits you.

"...I, uh, actually don't know if he even likes gifts, much less what he'd actually want..."

The Gimmighoul frowns and furrows its eyebrows, dropping the pearl and staring as if it thinks you're insane. You feel ashamed all of a sudden.

"Ugh, I know! Getting worked up over nothing. I'm sorry!"

It finally puts the pearl back amongst its other belongings before taking the chest back inside its hidey-hole. As it does this, you think about anything gift-y you could in relation to him. You almost drew up a blank until you remembered one important thing.

Gasp!

The Gimmighoul pauses its task, poking its head out to look at you.

"He likes going to the auctions a lot! What if I got him something even rarer that what they offer?"

The Gimmighoul seems worried about how fast you pivoted, but it nods regardless.

"Yeah... instead of saving up for one big 'ol meal, I can catch a boat to another region! Go get him something from... actually, no clue, let's scrap that."

The Gimmighoul sighs in relief before finally finishing the task of packing its chest away. It then hops over and scales your frame (which was, again, faster than you expected). It ended up hanging onto your shoulder as you thought some more.

"His food is mostly ocean-y, right?"

Gimmini nods.

"Ok, yeah! I don't have a plan, but I have an idea!"

Gimmini seems concerned again, but it doesn't do anything.

"Ok, OK! I need... a game plan."

You paced a little bit, Gimmini seemingly trying to come up with ideas as well.

"...what if I cooked for him since he always cooks for everyone else?"

The Gimmighoul seems interested in this plan, turning toward you.

"...no, I'm no professional."

It frowns, although you don't see it.

"Gosh, this is hard. But why? Don't I know him better than this?"

Gimmini shrugs with one arm, still hanging on, but after this, it hoists itself up and climbs onto your head, lying down on it and hanging on tight.

"...eh, I'll uh... I dunno. Let's go home."

You start to walk away up the path when someone comes blazing toward you two.

"Vaultin’ Veluza! Not again!"

You scream and jump back in order to protect yourself and Gimmini. As you fall back, the person stops upon realizing what happened.

"Shoot! I apologi-"

He stops upon realizing it's you. He calls out your name, which barely registers as you rub your tailbone.

"Ugh, huh?"

You feel Gimmini patting your forehead before pointing to the man, prompting you to look up.

"Kofu?"

"Gahaha, I apologize! Truly, I do." he begins while holding an arm out "I just get so lost in the ocean of me mind sometimes that the whole world disappears, includin' the sound of me alarm! Gahah!"

You take his hand, allowing him to help you up. You didn't even realize how close to Porto Marinada you really were until then.

He turns away once you're up, feeling quite bashful after almost barreling you over.

"Ah, I must make it up to ya-"

"-nonononono, no way! You're fine, really!"

"Oh no, I insist!"

You panic internally. Why would he try and repay you for a little mistake?

"No, really! I- well, I was actually out here to, uh," you look down before finishing "get you something..."

His eyes widen as he stares at you.

"Get... me somethin'...?"

You don't respond right away, but he doesn't push you to.

His eyes widen more when "getting something" reminds him of his current quest.

"VAULTIN' VELUZA! THE AUCTION!"

He then runs off again, catching you off-guard.

"I-i'll be back to talk to you later, ya hear!?"

"Uh-"

He's way too far to hear you at this point, so you sigh.

"...alright."

Gimmini had been silently laughing at the absurdity of the situation, but you didn't realize until you calmed down and felt it trying to hold itself back. Instead of calling it out, however, you make an offer.

"Wanna see how fast I can be?"

You're basically on your deathbed by the time you reach Porto Marinada. Lying on the ground and heaving, you remember why warm-ups are important, not just for your limbs. Gimmini returns rolling a fresh water to you. You weakly take it, letting out a breathless thanks. It nods, an amused yet concerned look on its face.

You manage to open and promptly chug the entire thing in one go. Still not satisfied, yet a bit less dehydrated, you manage to sit up a little. Gimmini brings another water to you.

"Tha- uh, wait. Hold up, where did you get these?"

It points toward a random stand. You heart sinks.

"Y-you BID on these!?"

It stares at you as if what it did wasn't a big deal.

"Wha- where did, how did you- but your coins are ancient??"

It just pushes the bottle to you, as if telling you to drink now and ask questions later. You groan, not wanting to waste them now that they're... yours? Gimmini's? Is this a gift, or is it just sharing? You sigh, sipping from the next bottle while glaring at Gimmini, who in turn seems unbothered and climbs onto your knee, continuing to stare right back at you with a neutral expression.

Your stare-down is eventually interrupted by Kofu.

"Hey there! Ya doin' alright?"

He's holding something, but you can't tell what.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm... fine."

He grins.

"Good! I also see your little buddy here took good care of ya! That lil' one's a keeper!"

You huff out of amusement, side eyeing the coin hunter, who looks smug.

"Yeah? Well, it won't let me catch it for some reason, but stalking me's the next best thing I suppose."

It flinches at this, looking at you with a "really??" face. You let out a breathy laugh.

"I'm teasing! You mock me all the time!"

It turns, crossing its arms again and refusing to look at you. You decide to let it have its moment and continue conversing with Kofu.

"So! What's up?"

He pauses, eyes narrowing as he tries to remember what he was going to say before it hits him.

"Oh yeah! I was going to ask you what you were doin', sayin' you're "gettin' me somethin', what's that about?"

You feel a chill wash over you. Oh right, you gotta explain yourself.

"Uh, well uh, I was, uh-"

Gimmini lifts its tail up and slams it down as hard as it can, arms still folded. It doesn't hurt, but it snaps you out of it.

"Oh! I just wanted to pay you back, for always letting me taste your cooking..."

By the time you finish your statement, you go from awkwardly avoiding eye contact to staring at the ground. Kofu doesn't say anything at first, but you see him shift his weight a little using your peripheral vison.

"Ah, I... see..." he finally gets out. You're worried you said something wrong. Looking up, you try to reassure him.

"Hey, não te preocupes com isso..."

He slowly nods, but he doesn't seem satisfied. In fact, he seems to feel bad.

"Ah, I was worried about this."

You tilt your head, eyes narrowing ever so slightly in confusion.

"Worried? About what?"

He lifts the bag over his shoulder.

"I was a bit worried you'd start to feel indebted to me."

Your face twists into a strange sort of questioning.

"Huh? What do you mean?"

He smiles softly.

"I didn't want you to feel like ya owe me anythin' in return for what I do. Please do believe me when I say I just enjoy feedin' ya."

You stare blankly at him.

"Wha- really?"

He nods.

"Yes! So please, you kin put yer worries to rest. I really don't feel like this is unfair in any way. My treat!"

You feel a warmth spreading from your core. He seems so sincere. Maybe it really wasn't an issue, although something still feels kind of wrong. Not that you doubt him, just that you still want to do something for him. Maybe a surprise would work? Or would he not appreciate that? Gosh, this doesn't need to be so complicated. You decide just being nice and doing stuff for him for the fun of it would be better than stressing about some invisible tally marks. Easier said than done, but it's a start.

You snap out of your thoughts and respond.

"Alright."

You stare blankly again, not quite sure where to go from here. Gimmini lets out a garbled huff before hopping off, walking over to its new supply of fresh waters. Kofu lets out a laugh.

"Ah, I wonder how your lil' one is gonna carry all these?"

Gimmini doesn't seem too worried, but you are.

"CRAP, you're right!"

You get up, walking around Kofu to try and help it.

"Gimmini, how will you take all this home? You PAID for this! Y- what even IS your home!?"

Gimmini made a loud noise as if telling you to chill out, "fists" up to its chest to drive the point home. You're both glaring at each other, exchanging more words (and cries) as you try to figure out how to go about this.

Kofu sighs and shakes his head at the sight, although it was full of amusement.

"You two are truly somethin' else."

And maybe that was your answer to why he liked you so much. Maybe something about you just caught his eye, and he had quite the eye for interesting things.

Speaking of 👻, I debated on whether or not including Gimmighoul would be too ironic or not (you can't afford to splurge and buy his food right now, but you're being followed by a literal treasure chest mimick), but I decided that if I acknowledge it but don't make it too much of a thing, it'd be Ok. I just think they're neat! Expy would never try and get it to pay for stuff for them, but... I wanted to give Gimmighoul the time to shine like how I gave Grusha's "reader expy" a Falinks

Also, whether Kofu's the one who actually brought the waters or not is up to you! On one hand, it'd be funny if your literal creechur was able to buy it for you, but it'd make sense for him to notice you lying on the ground and just have Gimmighoul bring them to you. Plus, he wouldn't want you to feel like you owe, or, after your talk, feel worse about owing him, so he wouldn't mention it. I dunno!

Also NOT ME FORGETTING WHY I HAD KOFU MAKE YOU PUDDING TO YOUR TASTE 😭

I had a specific explanation that was so cute, but I guess the forgetful/easily distracted stuff worked out in the story's favor since that is him to a tee
