Did this for my child growth & development class. This assignment I had to make an animal mask and a three panel “comic” with that same animal as the mask to help teach kids to understand emotions. I chose the emotion overwhelmed. So of course I had to associate this assignment with TGCF because the fandom associates Xie Lian with a ferret. Also I can’t draw animals for the life of me, so drawing a ferret over other animals made this a whole lot easier on me🤣
Also, another perk to this assignment was I’m the first in my teacher’s years of teaching and having us students do this assignment to do a ferret✨

Nutrition and Exercise for Optimal Growth and Development
Short Stature Treatment in Patiala
Short Stature Treatment in Patiala
While medical interventions may be necessary for some children with short stature, it's important to remember that healthy lifestyle habits play a crucial role in growth and development. In Patiala, while proper nutrition and exercise are crucial for growth, concerns about short stature can be addressed through Short Stature Treatment options.
A balanced diet provides the essential nutrients needed for growth, including protein, calcium, iron, and vitamins. Encourage your child to eat a variety of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and dairy products. Limit processed foods and sugary drinks, as they can contribute to unhealthy weight gain and hinder growth.
Regular physical activity is also essential for optimal growth. Encourage your child to participate in activities they enjoy, such as swimming, dancing, or playing sports. Exercise helps build strong bones and muscles, promotes healthy growth, and can improve overall fitness.
It's important to consult with a pediatrician or registered dietitian for personalized advice on nutrition and exercise. They can help you create a plan that is tailored to your child's individual needs and preferences.
By prioritizing healthy eating and regular physical activity, you can support your child's growth and development, even if they have short stature. Remember, a healthy lifestyle is not only about height but also about overall well-being.

Crazy PAFL Theory: At some point near the formation of the Zone, there was some sort of event that knocked out the genes for growth plate fusion in most of the population of at least the city the story is set in and a small surrounding region, resulting their descendents' growth not halting during puberty
This explains why all of the characters are so tall, and (more directly) why all of the adults in the series are so much taller than the teens

How Childhood Trauma Can Show Up In Adulthood
Childhood trauma can have a deep and lasting impact on your development, some scenarios we would not even consider to be " trauma" but it comes down to how you as a child perceived the situation. To add to that, you could have had a great childhood factually, or by your understanding, because it is all you knew. I’ll give you an example, do you find yourself putting everyone else before you? Maybe when you were little you had an experience with a parent where they put someone else before you in a situation that was significant to you at the time, and that feeling got registered in your subconscious. Maybe you got rewarded for the experience or reprimanded. It could have been very harmless. You may not even remember unless you start to think about it. None the less the root of a lot of our triggers, habits and insecurities boil down to our childhood experiences, that stay buried in our subconscious and often manifesting in various ways during adulthood.
You have a have a hard time controlling your feelings. You might get super angry or not feel anything at all.
You are scared to fail.
You blame yourself for your mistakes and bad choices from your past and have a hard time forgiving yourself.
You worry about what other people think about you or in general and may feel scared a lot.
You are too clingy or too distant and cant find a balance.
You don't trust yourself to make decisions and need constant validation or someone else to make decisions for you.
You feel really sad and down most of the time.
You suffer from negative self talk, are very hard on yourself and really believe those things to be true.
You constantly criticize others.
You need external validation to feel accepted.
You are always anxious.
You are hypersensitive to criticism.
You are terrified of change.
You find it hard to take compliments and truly believe you are not worthy.
You find it hard to keep good relationships because you're scared of getting hurt and feel like you cant get close to others.
You try to be perfect and want to do everything perfectly because you think it will help avoid bad things from happening.
You might eat too much or too little because you are feeling bad or want to control things.
You can't stop thinking about bad stuff that happened before and might have nightmares or feel like they're living it again.
You may feel like they're not really in their body or like things around them aren't real because of what happened in the past.
You avoid things because they remind you of bad stuff that happened.
Sometimes people stay away from things that remind them of bad stuff that happened.
You might have more health problems like headaches or stomachaches.
You do things that hurt you or others, and you don't even realize it because you learned it from when you were young.
You might work extra hard to be successful because you want others to like you or because you don't feel good about yourself.
You rather be alone because you feel embarrassed or worried about what others think.
You try really hard to control everything in your life.
You water yourself down and put everyone else before you.

every time someone mischaracterizes nuanced character relationships and turns it into a basic parent-child dynamic, i die a little inside
my main gripe with this is about nahida being called scara's mom/aunt but it also extends to zhongli & xiao, beidou & kazuha, wriothesley & sigewinne, neuvillette & furina, and others.
like. i enjoy found family as much as everyone else, but that is a terrible injustice to the characters' writing. the character typecast as the child is infantilized to hell and back while the other character is reduced to a 2d caricature of the perfect parent. Bruh
don't get me wrong, headcanons are fine and all, it just irks me that some people consider it lore accurate when it really isn't
#with nahida and scara it's dumb bc 1) nahida had absolutely no involvement in scara's upbringing#and 2) nahida herself is still a child (albeit godly) with her own growth & development to go through#also it's funny that nahida is older even tho scara is physically and arguably mentally more mature#they both have a lot to learn from each other#if anything i'd rather think of them as siblings#zhongli also had no involvement w xiao's upbringing and regards him more like an equal than anything else#beidou did take in kazuha when he needed a refuge but it wasn't in a parental way#sigewinne has known wrio ever since he got sent to meropide and watched him grow up#neuvi and furina... *gestures vaguely at the entirety of 4.2* yeah#idk man i have a lot of thoughts on this#genshin impact#character dynamics#genshin impact headcanons#nahida#scaramouche#wanderer genshin#zhongli#xiao#beidou#kaedehara kazuha#wriothesley#sigewinne#neuvillette#furina

How to overcome Executive Dysfunction
Inspired by @vanillaoldie on Tiktok
First of all, who does executive dysfunction affect?
Executive dysfunction primarily affects people with mental illness or people who experienced child abuse.
What is executive dysfunction?
According to Healthline, executive function describes the cognitive skills that allow you to do things like pay attention, stay on task, regulate emotions etc.
People with executive dysfunction have difficulty developing or using any of these skills leading to things like...
Chronic procrastination.
Finding it challenging to get started on tasks.
Having a hard time keeping your space clean and organised.
Finding it difficult to manage time or stick to a schedule.
Finding it challenging to navigate frustration or setbacks.
Having difficulty following directions that involve multiple steps.
Finding it challenging to control impulses and emotions.
Executive dysfunction refers to difficulties developing or using any of these abilities or behaviors (associated with organisation and regulation).
A strategy to overcome Executive Dysfunction is Intrinsic Motivation
When you are intrinsically motivated, you engage in an activity because you enjoy it and get personal satisfaction from doing it.
According to the Self-Determination theory- the 3 basic needs for you to feel intrinsically motivated are the feelings of:
Autonomy: "The feeling of being in charge of your goals and behaviour"; You feel like you can make your own independent decisions.
Competence: "The sufficient ability, judgement, strength or intellect to accomplish a task"; You feel good at your task.
Relatedness: "The sense of social belonging"; You feel like you belong in the place you are executing your task.
How to apply Intrinsic Motivation to reach your goals
We need to overcome the insecurities we have around our autonomy, competence and relatedness.
Example: The goal is to study.
Autonomy-
Instead of thinking about how you need to study in order to pass the class or to not fall behind your classmates think about why you want to study. Remember, it's your mind and your decision.
"I study because I WANT to. I want to learn because I find the subject interesting and you like acquiring knowledge."
Competence-
Instead of thinking about all the work and effort you'll need to put into learning the study material and therefore experiencing task paralysis as a result of feeling incompetent; think about what will happen after you finish studying. View the feeling of competence as the reward for completing the task.
"I'm now smarter as a consequence of studying. The next time I need to study I'll know I am very capable and good at it. "
Relatedness
Instead of dwelling on your student anxiety or imposter syndrome focus on why you belong there in your course.
"I have passed the same exam as everyone to enter the course. I am just as capable and gifted as everyone here. I belong here. My university accepted me for a reason."
Write out your own affirmations as related to the 3 needs of intrinsic motivation when you are experiencing executive dysfunction but want to achieve a goal.
I hope this is helpful and be kind to yourself <333
Dido

To heal is to give yourself the chance you keep seeking from others. It’s a journey of growth—working on yourself at your own pace, little by little.
Healing means reflecting on your experiences, mistakes, and emotions one at a time, not running from them or avoiding them. It’s about confronting the discomfort, allowing yourself to feel it fully so you can evolve into a healthier version of yourself. Only then will you attract the partner you truly deserve and have the wisdom and the strength to nurture a meaningful relationship.

4 things my girlfriend does that heals my inner child
++ and why i'm telling you !
1. she shows up without being asked too
i own and operate a small business almost entirely on my own. i am in charge of my own social media marketing, creating and crafting my products and shipping out orders. my girlfriend has a decently sized instagram account, because she is very good at the hobby she does. never have i directly asked her to share some of my posts, or promote my work and yet, she has. every time without fail-- whether i have a market, i make a silly reel, or i'm announcing a new product-- she shares it with her followers. she supports me loudly, and shows up to support me and my business in the only way she can whilst we're long distance.
2. my interests are encouraged, never shamed
i'm a they of many interests and hobbies. i'm a crafter, a trinket collector, a k-pop fan-- you name it, i've probably dabbled in it at least briefly.
during my upbringing, my interests were often put off due to my family being busy, uninterested or simply just not wanting to hear. as an autistic person, i struggled with understanding how to connect with others who didn't share similar interests, and at times felt abandoned and hurt when people would laugh or poke at the things that made me happy.
but my girlfriend? she asks what i'm crafting, asks about the popmart series i'm most in-love with, and most recently told me she listens to my ult group just to familiarize herself with their discography.
3. arguments ≠ yelling
yelling was, and still is, a constant in my life. especially during my early childhood, it's apart of the reason i'm sensitive to loud noises as an adult now. and honestly, as sad as it may sound, i never expected to find a partner who didn't yell at me. i thought that's how couples communicated.
in the years i've known this girl, i can't count the number of times she's yelled at me angrily on one hand. why? because she never has.
of course, my girlfriend and i are people at the end of the day. we disagree, we argue, we butt heads-- but we never yell. we never try to create an unsafe environment to make the other feel scared into agreeing.
4. reassurance and communication.
plain and simple. reassurance and communication are truly the foundation for any relationship. it's taken us awhile to learn what works and trust there has been countless of times where something worked for one of us, but not the other-- or a technique that worked for awhile only to stop as we grew and changed.
but what held our bond together was the reassurance that we were both safe with each other. the communication that, despite the rocky road of figuring out how to be the first in both our families to have a healthy relationship, we are on that together.
now, why am i telling you all this?
because i want people to know. i want people to know that love can be safe, love should be safe. love should never be fear, or have to be earned. no matter who you are, what you look like, or how you were raised. my upbringing instilled a lot of harmful ideals into my nervous system, made me believe things about myself that were never true and worst of all-- made me scared to let myself be loved.
i want each and every one of you to know that you'll find your person. you'll find the person who makes you laugh like your a child again, the person who helps you feel safe when everything in you wants to run back to bad habits, the person who helps you remember that love should never be conditional.
and until then, love yourself <3

Nina Martin, daughter of Hades, god of the dead, and ruler of the underworld.
Fabian Rutter, son of Athena, goddess of wisdom, warfare, and battle strategy.
Amber Millington, daughter of Aphrodite, goddess of love, beauty, sexuality, and passion.
#ok so look nina took me FOREVER#she was almost a child of apollo too#she was also almost an athena child but that’d make fabina… yknow lets not go down that road#but listen it makes sense Hades is her godly parent; death has surrounded Nina her whole life and her chosen one powers are similar#her parents died when she was a kid; she sees ghosts (sarah; the frobisher-smythes; senkhara; victor sr.)#she has a fear of skulls (and thus death if you wanna think harder on it) i also read an analysis by someone here ab that fear#i like to imagine that while she is a child of hades she is absolutely TERRIFIED of what that entails#she’s afraid of what kind of power lingers inside her because she already doesnt like it; she does NOT want to embrace it#anyway that’s another story; all about personal growth and development#fabian is a child of athena#he’s the brains of group (so is nina but you get it) and in s3 he is left in the brains of the group category solo#amber’s is perfect are you kidding she’s the first one i made#house of anubis#nina martin#fabian rutter#amber millington#hoa
