Ramadan Headcanons with the First Years

MC is fasting for Ramadan and the first years make a whole event out of it. On Friday and Saturday nights (and honestly whenever they could get away with it), with the permission of their respective dorm heads, they will stay over at the Prefect’s Dorm.

They would stay awake until it is time to eat for Suhur. They would build a blanket fort, play games, watch movies, and snack throughout the night.

Ace and Deuce would bring treats that Trey provided. They also got you the newest snacks from Sam’s shop.

Jack would bring protein filled snacks that would keep you full. He would bring plants to help freshen the area.

Epel would make refreshing apple juice that would keep you hydrated.

Ortho brought over games and movies that Idia recommended watching.

Sebek would bring books and teas that everyone could drink. He would bring ones that he had done research for, that would boost your immunity and let you rest easier.

Grim is on your lap providing warmth for you.

When it is time for you to eat, everyone would work together to make breakfast. Your favorite foods will be made. They will bug you to eat and stay hydrated until the very last minute before fasting starts.

If you are sleepy, well, with people like Ace and Epel around, let’s say they’ll find ways to keep you awake.

While you are praying Fajr, the first years are washing the dishes and tidying up. Making sure everything is clean and where it should be so you have less to worry about the next day.

Jack, Deuce, and Sebek are noting if you are low in stock in anything so they can get it for you.

After prayer is over, everything calms down. Food coma and the late night is hitting you all, but you all try to stay up and talk. One by one, you all fall asleep in the comfort of the blanket fort.

Needless to say, you all will be sleeping in tomorrow.

Also can we like talk about the emphasis around making food/serving food in regards to Kalim and Jamil? like its so culturally fitting because in MENA and South Asian cultures there is a huge value in community, where whoever comes to your home you are fed and taken care of, even if its a stranger. Makes me so emotional that this is included, where they above all value showing hospitality to guests and having feasts almost everyday at their dorm... just 😭😭😭😭 this isnt the best written im just throwing out whats in my head lol

Hello! I’m happy that you enjoyed the TWST x PMMM series! Most of my writing projects have taken a back seat due to work and since it’s currently the Ramadan season, I just don’t have a lot of energy to write anymore more than for work. I mean, it took me half a day to answer this ask. 

I definitely want to get back to writing for this crossover series and maybe even copied what I’ve written so far into my AO3 for easy reading and navigating but we’ll see. For now, I’m indulging whatever plot bunnies that come my way so I won’t stop writing altogether. 

So lay them on me, dude! Expanding the series is always fun. (Also, bear with me. This is gonna be a long post). 

@lionheartanotheraccount and I had discussed these actually on Discord! Some were pinned, some were not (I’m an idiot. I should have pinned all of our crossover texts!), so lemme explain what I still remember. Feel free to pinch in if I forgot something incorrectly or left something out, Lion! 

1. What if Madoka transforms to MadoKAMI, I want to know boys’ reaction, especially Diasmonia’s boys

After the anime ended, Lion and I talked about how not that she’s a Goddess, she has the ability to visit Twisted Wonderland on her own and she approached Malleus and the rest of the Diasomnia gang in her human disguise so as not to freak them out. Well, Lilia and Malleus could feel the divinity within Madoka and you can expect the immense shock that not only could Madoka travel across worlds, but she’s also no longer human too. It’s a teary reunion and Malleus’ and Lilia’s hearts break when MadoKAMI explain everything. They comforted her to their best ability but ultimately, it’s been done. There’s nothing else they could do for her. It’s bittersweet for Lilia. Why, a human child ascended into a Goddess so she could save the fates of her friends and every Magical Girls in the past, present and future - she grew up out of necessity and love. Both Lilia and Malleus is proud to be her friend. 

2.  I want to know what if Sayaka got corrupt and the boys’ reaction(especially Adeuce) see Witch form Sayaka for the first time and they think Sayaka got Overblot but they wrong it worst than that!

The existence of a Witch’s Labyrinth is enough to make the boys instantly wary and a bit frighten (not that any of them would admit it). Bad times for everyone. The boys so confused, wanting to help Sayaka. The girls are horrified at the truth of Witches and Magical Girls and Homura is rushing in to kill Sayaka. Chaos everywhere with Octavie shrieking and trying to kill them all, Symposium Magarum blaring in the background and the Witch’s familiars flying everywhere to make sure their Witch could enjoy the music. 

No one could fight Octavia so they had to retreat. Homura causing enough distraction for them to escape. By the time they went out of the Labyrinth, shouting and screams begin. 

Adeuce would the most horrified, Madoka of course, heartbroken. Mami is losing it (to which Homura’s getting trigger happy and refused to look away from her. She’s ready to put Mami out of her misery the moment Mami so much as flinch) and Sayaka is both furious and still in shock. At this point, Homura has no choice but to reveal the fact she knows the truth about Magical Girls in order to explain that no, they don’t Overblot. They... mature into Witches when their Soul Gems turn pitch black. Here’s a little gem(lol) from explorerofsy on Discord:  vil internally: mami is a gem

It’s sad but it made me laugh sick. 

3. I want to know that what boys’ reaction if they see the Witches and Walpurgisnacht for the first time. Are they gonna fight or not?

The moment Homura explains that turning to Witches is irreversible and is the ultimate fate of all Magical Girls, some would deny it. Their magic is different from the girls, maybe they have a way to stop the transformation here in Twisted Wonderland. The academically-inclined students (Malleus, Riddle, Jamil, Vil and even Idia) would delve into hours of research, only to find nothing (I mean, Kyubey is akin to an Eldritch being, something beyond their comprehension so how on Twisted Wonderland would they push their magic against his strange abilities?). The other students are keeping a very close eye on the girls’ Soul Gems. I mentioned in a long-ago post that even Lilia would demand Madoka present her Soul Gem to him for inspection once every week since Madoka is still distraught over what happened to Sayaka. 

Will the boys fight the Witches? Well, in terms of Octavia, the Heartslabyul boys will struggle to kill her, even after Homura explains that the Witch is no longer Sayaka and it’s better to put her out of her despair and give her Grief Seed to Madoka (though Madoka would let Adeuce keep Octavia’s Grief Seed; it’s the only thing the boys have left of Sayaka after all. Madoka at least have years worth of memories of them together). 

In terms of Walpurgisnacht, Homura would debrief the girls and boys the strongest Witch to ever exist (Keeping Kriemhild Gretchen to herself. For now. She really, really doesn’t want to open that horrible can of worms) and showed them just how powerful and destructive she can be using her magic. Malleus would be intrigued in fighting her though. 

4. What would the boys’ (especially dorm leaders) reaction be when Homura tell the truth of Soul Gems and she tells how she looping time to time for 12 years and 100 looping

Characters like Leona, Lilia and Malleus would be shocked stupid. Time magic is already an insanely OP power and Homura, a human child, been abusing and looping time just to find a way to kill Walpurgisnacht? Leona will straight up spit out that Homura’s insane and Lilia will silently agree with him, wondering if Homura has gone mad. Malleus couldn’t help but applaud Homura’s will and her careful planning in making sure her Soul Gem remains pure. Kalim will cry for her; he couldn’t imagine what sort of pain Homura purposely gone through just to save her friends (cue Homura’s awkwardly patting him on the back, telling him not to cry because she made her choices) 

5. And btw i am boy its weird boy love twisted wonderland(not really but i love the character design and story(i just hate riddle mom treat him to obey all rules, he need freedom:( ))

It’s cool! Twisted Wonderland and its fandom are some of the very few fandoms I really enjoy. But then again, I tend to keep to myself and some close friends so I don’t really see the dramas. And you’re right, the story and characters’ design are what hooked me in. I was introduced to Twisted Wonderland when I saw a fanart of a little Azul holding hands with Floyd and Jade, looking disgruntled at being treated like a kid while the Tweels just smirk. That’s why Azul and the Tweels will always be my favourite in the fandom!

Yeah... when you think about it, most of the characters have unhealthy relationships with their family. Riddle with his Mum, Leona with his status and brother, Azul with his childhood bullying, and while we don’t know what exactly happen with King and Queen Draconia, Malleus probably knew them for only a short time (hell, they could even pass away before he was hatched).

uwu imagine laying in bed with Ruggie. It's his first break from all of his part time jobs and you two just sit and do your own thing. You watching videos, or sniping others on discord. Ruggie is scrolling through his phone on what to get for dinner. And it's such a nice moment for you two. Cuddling. Legs tangled together as the sun slowly starts to set as Ruggie rest his head on your neck as this moment is simple yet also comforting. A lazy bot also a relaxing day for you both.

Mammon and Movies:

Basically! Someone read another fic of mine that included my self insert flappy stimming and also getting mental breakdown so it asked if i could include a couple other stims in another work since he enjoyed my first one! I. Took that request and made an entire fic dedicated to him lmao. So! I asked it later on for what it would like me to include and which character to use and here we are!

This is a 4K fic of Mammon from Obey Me paired with a Neurodivergent!Reader. The plot is that of him showing you a magic trick and smoothly whipping out a movie ticket!! You've been wanting to ask him to see a movie with you for a while so this is perfect! So perfect in fact that you're overwhelmed with happiness and have a brief moment of being nonverbal as you're overwhelmed with euphoria. Then the next day, you meet him at the venue and the date begins! Other scenes include him allowing you to hold onto his bracelets as it's one of your stims (he wears one of every texture to accomodate to your tastes), you dissociating out of anxiety in a movie theatre and him helping to ground you, and finally! Him sleeping on your shoulder before the movie ends.

Ik i kinda just said the majority of the plot lmao but! Its just a fluffy and sweet movie date! I enjoyed writing it a lot although i got about 80% of it done a month ago and tyn didn't touch it for like 2 weeks sjdbsjd i was p sad abt that. I like finishing things quickly esp when its for other people!! But it was a comfort during a hard time to write this work at 2am under the light of a night lamp and to the tune of street life ambience.

ALSO I FOUND OUT THAT MAMMONS OFFICIAL SONG "ARE YOU READY" LEGIT HAS NO HOURLONG LOOPS AND THAT WAS A HARD HIT TO ME BC LIKE I WANTED TO LISTEN TO IT ON TV BUT IT WASNT HAPPENINGGG TWT WHY DOES EVERYONE LIKE ALL THE OTHER OTHER BROTHER'S SONGS INSTEAD LIKE PLSSS

Anyway lmao i'm quite happy with this work, it feels very round and finished to me which makes me happy because it means I didn't need to worry about editing it to feel satisfied. The requester liked it a lot too! Which made me super super happy. :>

Now!! For the twisted wonderland!! That’s a comfort plotline of mine that doesn’t really have a title yet and is still a wip that is written through my friend’s DMs BUT! I will also take the time to promo my twst writing blog! It is dead QvQ On there, you can see a bit more about the self insert in question but for now, i’ll just put the ship name as the title.

Kalim Al-Asim X Sumi Bint Khattar (Plot line):

So!! This one stemmed from me drawing something out of self indulgence and to show it to my friend, I described Sumi B in full and then I told them about my ships and around that time I had like five love songs I was obsessed with. And for each of them. I had. A separate animatic. For like at least 1 ship, the average was two but one had three. Sumi B was the centre of the most ships but not the only one. Anyway!! I told my friend about this and asked if I could dump my ideas onto them! They agreed and I started with a summarised version but then realised I needed a bit more build up so I started to write it in a bit more detail. Hah. It ended up being a Lot More Detailed but even then, I would write the scenes in a much more fluid and descriptive way if it were Real Writing so! I call it a Plotline. It is very long.

The plot itself is. long now. it’s a slowburn lmao because most if not all of my self insert ships tend to be slowburns. But this one? This particular self insert? Sumi B? Yeah she’s the only one with trust issues so she mothers the BIGGEST slowburns known to history. It takes them a year before she even considers him a friend despite seeing him every day and also having multiple deep conversations with him. Anyway though, this one is a big comfort becuase it has something I didn’t really dare to do before. Kalim, the canon character, falls in love with my oc first. Normally I have it the other way round becuase I’m too scared to assume that I would be like, deserving or like desirable enough for someone to have a crush on me. But with Sumi B, even I have a goddamn crush on her lmao. I indulge myself a bit with this one and really play around with emotions and!! In the most recent scene! We have finally reached the part where she actually starts to love him back! :D

I started this one a loooong time ago, at least a month and maybe two? It was Intended to be finsiehd in one night and then i got carried away and my friend got invested and then I ALSO got invested and so I started to develop the plot further so make it more interesting and keep the buildup going. It’s very fun and though i try to limit myself to summarising actions and dialogue, i fail. very often. so it often has little tidbits of more beautiful sentences and tension lmao. 

This particular fic is based off of my imagined animatic for the song “Would you be so kind” by Dodie! I didn’t know about the song until i saw other people’s animatics and I ended up taking it and running away haha! I’m currently really happy with it however I am really dreading the day where I actually write it out properly. If I don’t? I don’t know. Maybe I’ll post the plotline by itself. I have another fic just like it, one with a different self insert who (in fact) is very very close with Sumi B and considers her his older sister, that i ALSO wrote in semi detailed plot lines in someone’s DMs. Both are massive comforts to me and though i love them, their plot lines are so goddamn long that i will dread the day i decide to write them all out.

So uhm!!! Yeah!! XDD Those are the two fics I was talking about! I hope you enjoyed my small ramblings about them haha. I’m starting college soon though so I fear I might have much more time for fanfic.

Hello everyone, my name is Paul, one of the global partners. With my wife, Pam, I  lead a small team working in transformational development in a strongly conservative Islamic part of Africa we call Wonderland. Part of my own role in development involves working as a doctor in a local government hospital alongside the national medical officers in a clinical mentoring role.   

 In our part of the world, we don’t have a lockdown although our government has mandated everyone must wear masks in public places,  maintain social distancing and we have a dusk till dawn curfew. Social distancing is not something we are equipped for or very good at in rural Africa. However, so far Wonderland has not  had any cases of COVID-19, something  for which we are very thankful. When it does arrive, I fear it will hit us hard, which scares me a lot as I recognise I may well lose some friends and colleagues to the virus while it is here. 

The other  week over 5,000 people had their homes destroyed by flooding. Not too far away from us, the whole region is experiencing a second plague of locusts this year. A swarm of just more than a third of a square mile can eat the same amount of food in one day as 35,000 people. Calamities of biblical proportions. Rather reminiscent of the Exodus story really. Of course the plagues God inflicted on the Egyptians were not just a way of twisting Pharaoh’s arm so he would let the people of Israel leave their slavery, it was perhaps more a battle over  who is the living God, who is the one true God. Much later, Jesus chose the Passover, the annual festival remembering God freeing Israel from Egypt, to make his entry into Jerusalem and to suffer his passion, his death and resurrection. 

I mentioned  that  Wonderland is a strongly fundamentalist Islamic society  and we have recently celebrated Ramadan.  Ramadan is is the holy month in which people seek God and his blessing more fervently through fasting, special prayers and study of the Quran. It is also a time of heightened spiritual activity in other ways. There are many  people in Wonderland, some of whom we know well, who are frequently possessed by Shaitani or as we would call them djin or demons. (Shaitani is from the Arabic or semitic root from which we get the word satan in English.) They know they live under the constant oppression of shaitani and so  perform many rituals to protect themselves. But hang on a minute, ancient plagues of Egypt, modern natural disasters of Africa, and Ramadan; how do they all connect to Stalybridge? 

Well think of it this way, as the coronavirus & lockdown brings more isolation,  worries about the health of loved ones,  anxiety about jobs and money and in my own case wondering when I will get to see Pam again, the question may arise, is God really in charge or has he deserted us? Is he sending coronavirus to punish us perhaps?   Is coronavirus and lockdown making you doubt God’s love for you? 

Are you listening to satan the accuser, accusing God of not loving you because of the your circumstances  or accusing you of something in you such that you don't merit God’s love. So if I may ask, are you living under oppression by the shaitani of Stalybridge?

At Easter we celebrated the resurrection of Jesus and the defeat of all evil,  and God proclaimed Jesus is Lord. We have also just celebrated Pentecost, when the Spirit came on the disciples. In his first letter, the apostle John, who was there both on Good Friday and at Pentecost, wrote this: 

1 John 4:9-16 (NLT) God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.

Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and his love is brought to full expression in us.

And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us. Furthermore, we have seen with our own eyes and now testify that the Father sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. All who declare that Jesus is the Son of God have God living in them, and they live in God. We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love.

God’s word tells us that shaitani or Satan is a deceiver and the father of lies. It also tells us that if we resist the devil he will flee from us. And John tells us why. God has given us his spirit as proof that we live in him and we belong to him. As the Israelites left Egypt, God’s presence went with them. At the first Easter, God raised Jesus from the dead. It is the same God whose spirit lives in you and me, the holy and life giving presence of God himself.  How does God’s spirit empower us? First, he enables us to live in truth, to identify & reject the lies of the accuser and second he empowers us to love. So in the dark days of coronavirus may I encourage us all to humbly and thankfully unleash the power of God’s truth and love.  We already have all that we need to do so. Listen to John again:

So, in a time of great disaster, let us remember that God is not just with us, He is in us. And because He is in us, His will is to work through us. Ask God to show you ways in which you can live in truth and love without fear, this Pentecost, this coronatide. Which of your neighbours, friends, colleagues, family, living as they are under the oppression of fear and lies from the shaitani of Stalybridge, which of them need you to show them love and truth today? Dare to ask of God, step out in obedience and faith and you may be surprised what happens next.

Ramadan Headcanons with the Third Years

Trey was always busy as Vice Dorm leader for Heartslabyul. He would always make you baked goods or send you any leftover treats for you to eat. You would visit him when he would bake, waving away any concerns about you being around food. In fact, his calm demeanor and the smell of fresh baked goods relaxed you enough to want to take a nap.

Cater started a countdown calendar again this year on Magicam. You and him would make little challenges to compete each day. One day, you both spent time decorating each other’s nails. He had found a water permeable nail polish that you both used on each other.

Leona would make comments how your stomach growling could compare to a small lion cub. You would glare at him and he would laugh. He would pat your head before dragging you back to his dorm. At least there, you will be safe and it will quiet enough for you to relax. No headmaster would dare annoy you in his dorm.

Vil knew how hard it was for you during this time of the month, but he also emphasized that you need to take extra care of yourself. He would provide skin care products that would revitalize you. Don’t be surprised, if on days you are especially tired, you are invited over and he would be applying a face mask on you.

Rook loved to trail after you…no, he wasn’t hunting you per se. But there was beauty in how you would change as the month went on. Seeing the struggle and determination was a sight all on its own. Plus, anyone who would dare harm you would have to go through him.

Idia was a night owl that you could always depend on. He would have snacks you were free to have whenever you came to his room. If you needed any distractions, well, he had the power of the internet at his fingertips.

Malleus and you would continue your midnight walks. Though it wouldn’t be as long, him wanting to make sure you were well rested. You would invite him over to make ice cream sandwiches. He loved the Kulfi you made last year, and this year you two decided to try out different combinations, hopefully this never reaches Lilia’s ears. Malleus would also offer to take you to his home. If he understood it correctly, you only had to fast during sunrise. Well, Briar Valley has short days, surely it would be easier for you to fast at his homeland?

Lilia would show up and listen to your prayers. He would take the time to learn everything you knew. He loved learning and traveling. Won’t you honor him by learning yours? After all, a old man can learn new tricks. On days you can rest well, he would sing you softly to sleep.

Ramadan Headcanons with the Second Years

Throughout your school week, you had reliable classmates that would check up on you.

Riddle would show up before classes or during lunch to check on your condition. He wanted to make sure you weren’t overdoing it. He had a well known healer for a mother, and he picked up several cues to look out for in all his time of studying. He would straighten your uniform and you would give him a tired smile. He would put the back of his hand on your forehead to make sure you were not running a temperature. He would remind you to take it easy and would send a message with his eyes to Ace and Deuce to not cause you any trouble.

Ruggie would swipe the special meals in the cafeteria and save them for you, after he set aside Leona’s portion of course. Ruggie was invited to dinner with you whenever he was able. He would bring the treats he saved that day to have with you. He knows all to well the hunger pains and the emotional and physical fatigue that comes with it, so he helps out with cleaning after Iftar is finished while you pray.

Azul comments on how gracious you are as you continue your tradition of fasting this year as well. He makes sure to keep your schedule light during this month and coincides your breaks with Iftar times. He is more prepared this year and keeps hard candies and sugary drinks on hand should you need to break your fast.

Floyd, well, tries to always give you a squeeze and chase you. You always seem to slip by him with the help of the other octa students. Floyd, unbeknownst to you, have slowed down to allow you to escape from him…just for now. After all, he loves the fish dish you try to bribe him with.

Jade is always looking forward to any dishes you make during this time of the year. He loves the seasoned mushrooms you made last year, and looks forward to it this year as well. What this? You have a type of tea he hasn’t tried before? He would gladly partake in such tea with you.

Kalim is always happy to have you. He’s so happy to be able to spend this time of year with you again. You are invited to visit his family with him and Jamil. While you might be away from yours, you can always consider him family. His family is welcoming and treats you as their own. Eating, talking, and praying with them really reminds you of your family back home and gives you a continued sense of belonging in this world.

You can turn to Jamil when you need a place of peace and quiet. You help him cook and prep Suhur and Iftar. The seasonings always reminding you of home. When you visit Kalim’s family, you also see his sister. She is always fun to be around and loves to embarrass her brother. Jamil learned your favorite treats the year before and would make them especially for you. You, of course, would eat his dates for him in secret.

Silver’s main job was to keep any food Lilia made away from you. He didn’t want you to suffer from the food Lilia made. Silver would lend you his coat to keep you warm should you need it. You can always rest on him and take a nap. He will guard you in your sleep. Silver will make you comfort dishes that will be gentle on your stomach. His animal friends would bring you flower crowns to bring a smile on your face. The birds nuzzling your cheek always puts a gentle smile on his face.

Eid Al-Adha in Twisted Wonderland

Summary: It's time to celebrate Eid Al-Adha in Twitsed Wonderland.

Characters: MC (Gender Neutral) and most of every NRC character is mentioned.

Notes: Eid Mubarak! This is just something quick and short that I wanted to write to celebrate Eid with everyone. 💚🌻🌺 I hope everyone who celebrates has a wonderful Eid. Just a quick Info: this holiday basically celebrates our devotion to Allah SWT, and one of the ways we do it is by acquiring halal meat and giving it to others, especially to those less unfortunate who do not have food.

Eid Al-Fitr:  Eid Al-Fitr in Twisted Wonderland

·      A couple of months after Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr was over, MC was getting ready for Eid Al-Adha.

·      They had talked to Kalim and Jamil in advance to see if they followed a similar holiday too, and luckily, they did.

·      “Yeah! My parents buy enough for our whole household, including the servants! We also give some meat to the community and the Mosques too!” Kalim proudly beamed.

·      “Would you mind letting me pitch in some money for the halal meat?”

·      Kalim hugged them, “You don’t have to pay. I’ll give it to you for free.”

·      “No, please, I want to contribute too.” MC looked at Jamil for help.

·      “Kalim, you know it is their right to contribute.” Jamil sighed exasperatedly.

·      “Aww~ Fine, but expect some meat from me!”

·      On the day of Eid, MC did not expect the amount of meat they received.

·      There were boxes of meat in their kitchen.

·      Sure, they saved enough money to afford meat for several families, but even this was excessive. On top of that, Kalim and Jamil gave MC a portion of their share.

·      My fridge can’t possibly fit all this meat!

·      So, MC divided the meat into many bags and set about sharing it with the other dorms.

·      MC dropped off the meat with Trey at Heartslabyul. He was surprised by the amount of meat given to him but gratefully received it. Trey mentioned making several pastry dishes with them and promised to share. MC couldn’t wait.

·      Ruggie was the next person MC hailed down. He was practically salivating at all the meat and gratefully took them. MC made sure to give him extra that he could send back to his family with magic. Ruggie was touched and gave MC some of his secret stash of doughnuts before running off on another errand.

·      At the lounge, MC had run into Azul. He had seemed surprised at the bags MC was carrying. MC had explained to him that they were giving it for him to eat with the others and how the freshness and quality of the meat would be delicious for meals. Azul seemed intrigued and promised to make something.

·      Scarabia was busy having a party. MC dropped off their bags with Jamil, as was tradition. MC made sure to divide them into separate portions for Kalim and Jamil, expressively telling Jamil not to use it all in one day. Jamil had looked at them with exasperation as if knowing the meat wouldn’t last a week with the way Kalim loved to celebrate.

·      Epel looked ready to hug MC and never let go after he saw the package MC brought. Rook was nearby, and he was particularly interested in the way the meat was acquired and the methods performed. MC explained how the Halal process worked as Epel put the food away, only for them to spend the next few minutes as Rook praised such a wonderful method.

·      MC knew that Idia didn’t eat…well, any food, really. But after delivering their portion to Ortho and explaining the reason, Ortho was happy with the gift. MC had recommended making beef jerky as an easily portable food that Idia could eat while gaming.

·      Going to Diasomnia and trying to hide from Lilia was a struggle; MC had texted Sebek with a warning in advance and gave him the bags of meat. Both of them were perfectly aware that their stomachs would be at risk if a certain bat fae knew. As MC left, they felt a cool air creep down their spine as they heard a familiar laugh.

·      For the staff, MC had chosen to cook them various curries and rice. Then, they delivered it to the lunchroom so everyone could enjoy it. Professor Crewel had patted MC’s head while the others admired the food.

·      In the cafeteria, MC donated some meat there as well. They asked the chefs to give extra helpings to the students who were especially short on money or seemed like they needed it. The chefs were happy to receive such fresh meat and sent MC home with some meals for them to enjoy.

·      Once home, MC got ready for their guests.

·      Of course, they had invited people to come over for dinner.

·      MC took care to make a few of their favorites and their friends.

·      It will surely be another entertaining dinner with their friends and family at NRC.

Summary: An MC who fasts during Ramadan, and how the Diasomia students support them.

Notes:  The number of people telling me to “please mess with Sebek” had me laughing. I love it! 🤣😂👏 I hope I delivered. His part turned out the longest too 🤣 Another quick note, Kulfi is a dessert mentioned here. It’s made out of cream that's been slow cooked and you can find many flavors. 💕🌸

·      MC might not be at home, but it doesn’t mean they can’t follow their traditions from home.

·      After talking to Kalim and Jamil, MC was able to figure out roughly when the time of Ramadan would be.

·      So, they chose that time to inform others of their decision, such as the teachers and their friends.

·      Mainly Ace, Deuce, and Grim, so they did not cause too much trouble, or they will have to deal with MC. Which after a particular glare from them, the trio was left quaking in their boots.

Malleus Draconia:

·      MC knew the only time they would be able to talk to Malleus was during their late-night walks.

·      They could always tell him during the day, but it was hard to find him sometimes.

·      It would be easier to just wait for him at nighttime.

·      So, MC waited until the tall tale signs of green lights flickered outside the Ramshackle Dorm then they ran outside as quickly as they could.

·      “Tsunotaro!”

·      And as predicted, Malleus was right there in front of them.

·      He seemed a bit surprised at the excitement MC displayed in his presence before smirking in amusement.

·      “What’s this, Child of Man? You seem quite excited.”

·      MC proceeded to explain to him about their practices and the reasons behind them.

·      “Even after all these years, I am still surprised by you humans and your traditions.”

·       MC knew that Tsunotaro must have been lonely.

·      For all his years of living, he spent just as many lonely and isolated from others.

·      That’s why MC wanted to make sure he always felt welcome at Ramshackle Dorm.

·      “I eat very late at night Tsunotaro. You are always welcome to join me for breakfast.”

·       “A meal by you would always be delightful, Child of Man. It is no doubt edible compared to Lilia’s cooking.”

·      MC laughed.

·      Not much changed for MC and Malleus, after all, the two would meet at night for their nightly strolls.

·      Malleus noted at times his Child of Man would be tired. He would make sure their walks were short and the Prefect was warm.

·      He would drape his robes around them or warm the area with his magic.

·      The smile from them gave him warmth in return.

·      Other times, he would notice MC would be nodding off and would persuade them to sleep until it was time for breakfast.

·      MC would protest, saying how they did all-nighters at times but Malleus would persuade them with music.

·      And who can deny music played by The Malleus Draconia?

·      He would play his music while MC would nod off, with the promise of waking them up when the time came.

·      MC had several alarms in place just in case time seemed to escape from Malleus again.

·      MC knew how much Tsunotaro loved ice cream.

·      MC wanted to make him a treat and decided to treat him to various flavors of kulfi.

·      They made cream, mango, and pistachio-flavored kulfi for him to try.

·      When Malleus first tried it, the surprised look on his face made the work worth it.

·      From then on, MC and Malleus would make kulfis together.

Lilia Vanrouge:

·      It wasn’t hard to find Lilia.

·      He would either be with his charge, at the light music club, or trying to scare the students of NRC.

·      MC ended up finding him with Silver.

·      Silver seemed to have fallen asleep by one of the trees again, and Lilia was laying a blanket on him.

·      “Prefect? What’s this? Were you looking for little old me?”

·      MC laughed a bit before nodding at him.

·      They then proceeded to explain their practices to him.

·      Lilia was another fae who had lived a long life, and he was older than Malleus.

·      Lilia had traveled to many places and, according to Silver, even various dimensions….

·      Yeah, MC made a note to ask Silver to clarify that point one of these days.

·      Lilia was intrigued to hear about MC’s tradition and was surprised by how similar it was to some cultures in Twisted Wonderland.

·      “How curious. It seems even across worlds; practices can bear similarities.”

·      The fanged grin Lilia gave made MC sweat with nerves.

·      “I should cook you a meal from my travels! That way you don’t have to cook for yourself.”

·      “Please, don’t.”

·      Lilia had his own ways of helping MC.

·      He would notice them low on energy and he would wake them up.

·      Of course, by frightening the life out of them.

·      “Tired, Prefect?”

·      “Lilia!”

·      Lilia laughed, as he hung upside down in front of them before winking and disappearing.

·      MC would shake their head at him before continuing on their way.

·      Unknown to them, Lilia would be watching and making sure of their safety.

·      MC and Lilia would have bonding moments, as well.

·      Lilia would listen to MC recite their prayers and their verses.

·      He would have conversations with MC about their practices and traditions and compare them to the ones he came across in his travels.

·      It was entertaining talking to Lilia about these things, especially when he added his anecdotes to the conversation.

·      “There is beauty in listening to you recite your prayers, dearie.”

·      “Thank you, Lilia.”

·      The warmth and appreciation MC felt brought peace to them.

Silver:

·      Silver found out soon after Lilia did.

·      MC had waited for him to wake up from his slumber after promising Lilia they would look after Silver.

·      While MC waited for Silver to wake up, they played with the nearby animals that usually frolicked around Silver.

·      “MC?”

·      “Good afternoon, sleepyhead.”

·      MC waited patiently as Silver slowly woke up.

·      “What are you doing here?”

·      “Well…”

·      MC proceeded to tell him about their practices.

·      Silver wouldn’t be surprised about MC’s practices; he had heard of his father’s travels as a young child.

·      “I was hoping we could put our training session on hold until next month.”

·      Silver had been teaching MC self-defense.

·      For some reason, he thought MC had a talent for wielding a sword.

·      He offered them lessons, and MC took the chance.

·      It was a great way to get to know Silver better, and MC hadn’t minded learning some self-defense skills.

·      “Yes, that would be for the best.”

·      Even though MC and Silver held off on the sword training, they would train in other ways: light weights, resistance bands, and walks around the track.

·      Silver would stop his father from popping up at Ramshackle Dorm with his cooking.

·      Instead, Silver would show up at Ramshackle Dorm with mushroom risotto.

·      “I thought this dish would be comforting for your stomach after a long day of fasting.”

·      “Thank you, Silver!”

·      It wouldn’t be a surprise to find MC and Silver knocked out together after dinner.

Sebek Zigbolt:

·      Finding Sebek would be a bit tricky, he was always on the move.

·      He was a determined knight and student, so he kept to a studious schedule.

·      MC could go about several ways with finding Sebek, by checking the library, the equestrian club, or he might even be with his lord and fellow Diasomnia students.

·      All those options would take time.

·      Honestly, MC wanted to yell, “Malleus Draconia sucks!”

·      That would probably have Sebek running to them to defend his lord with a “What did you say? How dare you!”

·      It would be the quickest way to find him, but it would also lead to a day-long lecture that MC did not want to sit through.

·      After receiving Riddle’s permission, MC decided to wait by Sebek’s horse at the equestrian club.

·      MC was feeding the horse a carrot when Sebek came in.

·      “Human! What are you doing here?”

·      “Hello, Sebek! Don’t worry, I got Riddle’s permission before coming here. I wanted to talk to you.’

·      MC tell him all about their practices and waited for him to ask any questions.  

·      “How glorious!”

·      MC was shocked.

·      The horse was shocked.

·      The only one not shocked was Sebek.

·      “Glorious?”

·      MC patted the horse to calm him down.

·      “Yes! It is an honorable tradition! It trains you in stamina, strength, and determination! It is perfect for a knight in training such as I! I shall also participate.”

·      “You’ll what now?”

·      MC could not persuade Sebek to rethink his decision.

·      They didn’t mind him fasting, but he wouldn’t lighten his workload either.

·      “Sebek, maybe you should break your fast?”

·      “Never! I will see this through!”

·      MC watched as Sebek continued until the end, practically shaking by the end of it.

·      Running around and sword training would do that to you.

·      “Here, Sebek, have some water.”

·      MC watched as Sebek gulped down glass after glass of water.

·      They didn’t want to hurt his feelings, but they had Lilia talk to him, stating how it would be detrimental to his health.

·      Eventually, he had conceded, knowing he couldn’t keep up his training and fast at the same time.

·      Sebek, just from fasting one day alone, knew how hard it was.

·      He took special notes for them, even going as far as using highlighters to stress certain key points.

·      He would present them to MC at the end of the day.

·      “Thank you, bek-bek.”

·      “Bek-bek!”

·      “I could always call you tsun-tsun.”

·      “Human!”

·      MC would pop up to the Diasomnia Dorm occasionally with enough salmon curry and rice for all of them.

·      The gratefulness in the Diasomnia’s students’ eyes made MC smile.

·      Until Lilia would volunteer to make dessert, Malleus and Silver would be handling him then.

·      Sebek eating the first bite and reacting with joy brought happiness to MC.

·      They knew salmon was his favorite fish after all.

·      Sebek would walk them back to their dorm in gratitude and to make sure they were safe.

·      Though he would never admit it.

·      “Make sure you set your alarms.”

·      “I will.”

·      “Make sure you brush your teeth before you sleep.”

·      “Aw, Seb, are you trying to protect my teeth against dentists like your father?”

·      “Human!”

·      “Yes, yes, I will.”

·      “You have to have a balanced meal and drink enough water before the time is up.”

·      “Yes, dad.”

·      “MC!”

·      MC laughed.

·     MC was touched by the help that their friends gave them during this time. It made the time pass much quicker, and it was fun spending time with them.

Notes: I read a story the other day in the obey me fandom that really made my heart feel soft and sweet. It’s so sweet to see those that you love be supportive of you and your practices. So, I wanted to contribute to that by making a Twist version and how these boys will help you during this time. I kept it very generalized because everyone has their own way of going about Ramadan and what they do and not do. I hope everyone that is taking part are staying hydrated and having a good meal. 🌸🌸☺️☺️💚💚💚🌟🌟🌟

·      “I will not hold any unbirthday parties until sunset.”

·      MC has laughed telling him there was no need to change his rules on account of them. After all, during Ramadan, you were supposed to continue everyday life normally.

·      “As Dorm Leader of Heartslabyul, I will support you in your endeavors. Come Perfect, I will show you some teas that help with fatigue and energy.”

·      Riddle fidgeted, “Besides, sharing a strawberry tart together makes it always taste better.”

·      I don’t want you to eat alone. I want to spend time with you.

·      Was left unsaid.

·       MC smiled and hugged Riddle, thanking him for his thoughtfulness.

·      Riddle had turned red but had smiled shyly in return.

Trey Clover:

·      When MC had mentioned it to Trey, he had nodded understandingly.

·      His family owned a bakery. They had many people with different traditions and cultures coming to his family’s shop.

·      The first thing he did was ask MC if there were any foods they could not eat. After MC informed him, he simply nodded his head and got to work.

·      As per Riddle’s request, he would make strawberry tarts for when you broke fast with them.

·      He would also stop by with ready-to-warm meals and desserts, so MC didn’t have to cook some days.

·      When he had time, he would check and make sure they were eating properly too.

·      He knew how Crowley could be when it came to providing for them.

Cater Diamond:

·      When MC had told Cater, he hadn’t been surprised.

·      He made many followers in Magicam, so of course; he must have known of other cultures with a similar practice.

·      “Prefect! Let’s take a picture together~ We can do a countdown to the final day.”

·      He then took a picture of you both and added his hashtags.

·      #Day 1 of Fasting #Let’s Cheer them on!

·      And many more.

·      Cater would pop up every day to take a pictures with MC.

·      He even organized an online calendar counting down the days.

·      His Magicam would have posts mentioning fun facts and other ways to support those who also followed such practices.

·      “Prefect~ Someone mentioned this date dessert. We should try making it! It’ll be Magicam worthy~”

·      “By us making it, you mean Trey-senpai don’t you?”

Deuce Spade:

·      Precious, precious Deuce.

·      When he had first learned about the practice, he was beyond shocked.

·      “Will you be okay? Won’t this affect your health?”

·      MC could see the spiral of questions spinning in his head.

·       MC reassured him, that while they would be a bit more tired than usual; they will be fine.

·      They’ve been doing this for years.

·      They were used to it.

·      Deuce would then offer to carry MC’s bag whenever the trio would meet up for school.

·      He wouldn’t let MC carry any heavy objects despite them objecting.

·      He wanted to help!

·      If any of the NRC students were making things difficult for you at school, Deuce would be by your side emitting a murderous aura.

·      Deuce would go with you to Sam’s shop to buy groceries.

·      “Don’t worry MC! I helped my mom with her groceries back home. Leave it to me!”

Ace Trappola:

·      Ace had been a little shit when he first heard about MC’s practices.

·      “So, what you are saying is you will be too tired to stop my fun?”

·      “Don’t push it, Ace.”

·      Ace had simply smirked.

·      While Deuce was taking care of bothersome students, Ace would steer you away from the trouble.

·      Many times, Ace would pop up at Ramshackle Dorm for an impromptu sleepover.

·      MC had a feeling that he wanted to make sure they didn’t miss the window time to eat.

·      MC didn’t believe the excuses he made about Riddle being extra annoying and wanting to escape from the rules.

·      “Someone has to make sure you wake up! You and Grim sleep like the dead.”

·      When it was hard for MC to wake up, Ace would come in and try to wake them up by banging pans.

·      Ace was lucky he had quick reflexes. MC wanted to kill him at times.

·      Other times, he would drag MC out of the bed, take them to the bathroom to wash up, and then pull them to the kitchen.

·      On the days MC didn’t have trouble waking up, Ace would be awake already and setting the table.

·      “Wake up, sleepyhead. You need to eat. Drink more water, it’s going to be a hot day.”

·     MC was touched by the help that their friends gave them during this time. It made the time pass much quicker, and it was fun spending time with them.

Ramadan: Scarabia Ver.

Summary: An MC who fasts during Ramadan, and how the Scarabia students support them.

Characters: MC, Kalim, and Jamil

Notes: I had to decided on which direction I wanted to take with Scarabia, and after debating for a bit with myself, I finally settled on this. I hope you like the path I took 😊💚🌟

Eid Al-Fitr:  Eid Al-Fitr in Twisted Wonderland

Eid Al-Ahda: Eid Al-Adha in Twisted Wonderland

·      MC might not be at home, but it doesn’t mean they can’t follow their traditions from home.

·      After talking to Kalim and Jamil, MC was able to figure out roughly when the time of Ramadan would be.

·      So, they chose that time to inform others of their decision, such as the teachers and their friends.

·      Mainly Ace, Deuce, and Grim, so they did not cause too much trouble, or they will have to deal with MC. Which after a particular glare from them, the trio was left quaking in their boots.

Kalim Al-Asim:

·      Kalim and Jamil were the ones MC sought out when the thought of Ramadan first came into their minds.

·      While MC wasn’t sure if Kalim or Jamil had similar practices to theirs, they had to at least give it a try or check if they had access to a moon calendar.

·      Luckily for MC, the Dorm Leader and Vice Dorm Leader also had similar practices.

·      Which made explaining their situation to the duo easier, the duo was certainly surprised when the Prefect brought the subject up.

·      “You fast also, Prefect?” Kalim’s smile was brighter than the sun.

·      “Yes, back in my world we have something similar to yours.”

·      “That’s great! We can do it together! Let’s have a banquet!”

·      “Wait- No, Kalim, that’s against the whole point!”

·      Breaking fast in Scarabia was always fun, it was especially fun to watch Kalim force crackers on Grim to eat.

·      “MC!” Kalim hugged them.

·      “I love this yogurt drink you brought! It’s delicious!”

·      “Haha Thank you, Kalim.”

·      MC felt the pull for home more than ever during this time of the year.

·      They didn’t have their friends and family here to spend this time with like they usually do.

·      It brought tears to their eyes at times.

·      Kalim tuning into their emotions noticed right away and hugged them.

·      “It’s okay, Prefect! We’ll be your family until you can go home again.”

·      He patted their head until their quiet sniffles finally stopped.

·      Offering them a handkerchief, MC had no choice but to smile.

·      Because he was right.

·      MC watched as Azul annoyed Jamil, Ace and Deuce teased each other, Ruggie ate with gumption, Floyd was making Riddle angry, and Grim was knocked out in a food coma.

·      And had to agree, they were with friends and family here.

·      This place was also home.

Jamil Viper:

·      MC knew Jamil wouldn’t ask for help, so they practically forced their help on him.

·      Fasting, managing the Scarabia dorm, and dealing with Kalim would tire anyone out.

·      MC still didn’t know how Kalim had so much energy even when he fasted, but MC was impressed and worried for Jamil.

·      So, after a well-placed threat of having Azul annoy him, Jamil relented.

·      MC, in their free time, would help the students of Scarabia.

·     They would volunteer to help Jamil cook the food for the dorm, prepping for dinner and breakfasts.  

·      They would make recipes from home that only they knew, and from the way that Jamil considered the ingredients and techniques; they knew that Jamil might be adopting it too.

·      “Prefect, if you teach me how to make those coconut pastries, I’ll show you how to make my curry.”

·      “You got a deal!”  

·      There were days that MC even stayed in Scarabia, so they didn’t have to constantly travel between dorms.

·      MC even laughed and remarked about how they used to be locked into their room, and they are glad that wasn’t the case anymore.

·      Grim grumbled about the unfair treatment at that time.

·      MC patted his head and calmed him down.

·      Jamil looked like he wanted to hide in his hoodie and never see the light of day.

·      MC was surprised to see that the students of Scarabia broke their fasts by eating dates, as well.

·      MC knew how much Jamil hated dates and would offer to trade his date for a sweet.

·      “Jamil, give me your date. You can have this coconut dessert I brought.”

·      “…thank you, Prefect.”

·        MC munched on the dates as they watched everyone eat, getting their energy back after a long day of fasting.

·      Nothing beats enjoying good food and spending time with friends and family.

·     MC was touched by the help that their friends gave them during this time. It made the time pass much quicker, and it was fun spending time with them.

·      When MC has told Leona, all they heard was silence.

·      Which was fine and all, they knew how Leona could be.

·      The beastman, despite looking like he was asleep, must have heard them.

·      MC smiled at the beastman and resisted patting him on the head.

·      It was after fasting for a few days and juggling classwork, that MC was feeling the fatigue set in.

·      They still had another 4 hours to go before they can break fast.

·      MC escaped to the botanical gardens to seek refuge from the noise and to relax in the shade.

·      Leona was already there and napping away, what a surprise really.

·      MC chose to sit next to him and surf the web.

·      They didn’t know when they fell asleep, all they remember is something pulling them in by the waist and then darkness.

·      “Herbivore, time to wake up.”

·      “Hmm…Leona-sempai?”

·      “It’s almost time to eat, let’s go Herbivore.”

·      “Eat?”

·      *Growl*

·      Silence.

·      Leona burst out in laughter.

·      MC felt their face heating up.

·      “Are you sure you’re not a beastman Herbivore? What a weak growl.”

·      “Shut up you pri-”

·      MC closed their mouths completely, choosing not to complete their sentence.

·      Leona smirked as MC followed him.

·      “What’s this? Prefect can’t use their usual insults against me?”

·      “I don’t know what you are talking about.”

Ruggie Bucchi:

·      If anyone would understand the difficulties of fasting, it would be Ruggie.

·      When MC explained the reasoning behind Ramadan, Ruggie had looked touched.

·      It wasn’t every day that someone would think of those the less unfortunate went through, especially in a villain’s school.

·      It wouldn’t be uncommon for MC to see Ruggie pop up now and then, with fresh fruits that MC could eat when the time came.

·      “Ah~ I’m hungry.” Ace complained.

·      “Weak.”

·      MC turned to Ruggie in surprise before they both burst out in laughter.

·      It was only by coincidence the trio has passed by him in the hallway.

·      Meanwhile, Deuce was smacking Ace on the head for mentioning his hunger around the Prefect.

·      “They said to act nor-ack!  Stop that Juice!”

·      “Ruggie-sempai, come join me for dinner today. I have more food than I could finish in one sitting.”

·      “Shishishi~ Count me in Prefect. A free dinner is always welcome in my book.”

Jack Howl:

·      Jack simply nodded his understanding to the Prefect’s practice.

·      MC couldn’t join him in their early morning jogs until the month was over.

·      Jack had understood that MC needed all the time to rest and conserve energy as much as they can.

·      “Just like a cactus.”

·      “Like a cactus?”

·      “Yes. Cactus are known to grow and thrive in harsh conditions, as you will be doing.”

·      MC didn’t know what to feel about being compared to a cactus, but seeing as it came from Jack; they’ll take it as a compliment.

·      Jack helped out when he could.

·      He was a very studious student, and when he noticed MC was tired or out of it; he made sure to make a copy of his notes.

·      Which he would give to the Prefect at the end of the day, MC could just hug him and never let go.

·      Instead, MC invited him to dinner with them.

·      The way he wagged his tail when he ate the dinner MC cooked, brought a smile to their face.

·     MC was touched by the help that their friends gave them during this time. It made the time pass much quicker, and it was fun spending time with them.
