The air conditioning hose that connects the compressor to the condenser is leaking on a Hyundai Sonata.
Now is a great time to get your car’s air conditioning system checked out if it doesn’t seem to be running correctly.

Air conditioning problems were resolved on a Toyota RAV4 this week. The A/C system had stopped blowing cold air.
We noticed that the pressure was low and the fans weren’t turning on.
The SUV received an evac and recharge. Using a pinpoint tool, our technician found that the air conditioning condenser was leaking.
A/C problems may also occur if the condenser becomes constricted.

My issue with the Problem of Susan is that 90% of the people talking about it are trying to derive C S Lewis' theology and gender politics purely from the text of The Chronicles of Narnia, without any apparent exposure to his earlier work in theological science fiction or Christian apologetics, and if you are familiar with those sources it rapidly becomes apparent that this man was a fucking space alien. Like, no matter what conclusions you've arrived at based on Narnia, I guarantee you what he actually believed is way weirder.

Do you know how many times a day I want to scream at people "THIS ISN'T FOR YOU!" ?
Just yesterday, I was ten minutes late to my tutorial class because for whatever reason, almost every single person in my lecture decided to use the elevator instead of going down one flight of stairs while me and my classmates -- the ones who didn't have that choice -- were stuck waiting for the next elevator.
I constantly have to navigate around people walking up the ramps -- or, worse, standing in the middle of them -- because they couldn't get off their phones for two seconds to use the stairs instead.
At least twice a week I end up in far more pain than usual because people who don't need them take up the accessible seats on the bus and I either have to stand there and wait for somebody to get up (Which is already hard on my body) or just wrap my arm around the pole and try to suffer through a few stops until somebody gets off (Which has already caused several dislocations). As much as people like to brag about how they'd "always give up their seat for a poor handicapped person", they're far more likely to stay right where they are and ignore you in favour of watching Instagram reels on their phone.
And I've tried asking people to move. Directly. Making eye contact and everything. They'll just look down at their phone and ignore me until the bus driver or somebody else says something. And only then can they magically notice me and get up.
Before I get a bunch of people leaping to yell about people with invisible disabilities: I know. I know there are people with invisible disabilities, I spent most of my life with only invisible disabilities. I can guarentee that not every single person in my lecture of 60 people has an invisible disability. This is not the problem.
The problem is that able bodied people see these resources and supports made specifically for physically disabled people and assume they're entitled to them. Most of them see it as something that's put in place just to comply with certain rules or laws or regulations as a 'just in case' thing. Nobody thinks that disabled people are actually out and about. We're an afterthought to them.
And I get it. I do. We all have our blind spots.
But seriously, this is getting ridiculous.

A new air conditioning compressor is needed on a Nissan Quest.
Wetness was found on the side of the ac compressor. When the technician shined a black light on the component, he discovered that it was leaking.
The a/c compressor going bad is one of the common a/c problems.

Idk who needs to hear this but a parent defending or “staying out of” the abusive actions of the other parent is abuse in its own right. Yes I am also referring to emotional or verbal abuse.

So my post from December about the relationship between Tolkien's Lay of Leithian and the Narnia book The Silver Chair has gotten traffic again over the past week for some reason, and someone called @violetutterances left these tags:
#this was deeply fascinating as someone who has read both Lewis and Tolkien #I'd love to hear op's thoughts about The Susan Problem #I have no dog in that fight because I haven't been interested in Lewis since college but I'd love op's commentary within the context of thi
Hopefully this is not going to get "colour of the sky long" this time. Lots of other people have talked about the Susan Problem before, whereas I've never found anyone else who's noticed the Leithian-Silver Chair connection.
In case anyone reading this is in today's lucky 10,000, "the Susan Problem" is about what Lewis does with Susan Pevensie in The Last Battle. In the course of the series, eight children from Our World cross into Narnia; in The Last Battle all of them except Susan have formed a secret society called "the Friends of Narnia". The events of the book see the Friends gather in what turns out to be Aslan's Country (=Heaven) after the Narnian world comes to an end. A Narnian character comments on Queen Susan's absence, and the following exchange ensues:
"My sister Susan," answered Peter shortly and gravely, "is no longer a friend of Narnia." "Yes," said Eustace, "and whenever you've tried to get her to come and talk about Narnia or do anything about Narnia, she says 'What wonderful memories you have! Fancy your still thinking about all those funny games we used to play when we were children.'" "Oh Susan!" said Jill, "she's interested in nothing now-a-days except nylons and lipstick and invitations. She always was a jolly sight too keen on being grown-up." "Grown-up, indeed," said the Lady Polly. "I wish she would grow up. She wasted all her school time wanting to be the age she is now, and she'll waste all the rest of her life trying to stay that age. Her whole idea is to race on to the silliest time of one's life as quick as she can and then stop there as long as she can." "Well, don't let's talk about that now," said Peter.
Not counting Peter, who is clearly uncomfortable with the whole subject, that's three statements about Susan and three points made. The message most readers take from the whole dialogue is: Susan grew up, she got interested in boys, Lewis disapproves so he sent her to Hell.
The real picture is more complicated than that -- but not necessarily better.
Whilst I do hope this thread doesn't get as long as the previous one, that's enough for one post. I'll be back.
