Love the idea that in an AU where everything’s the same but Ace is trans (which ever way doesn’t matter) he eventually tells Garp when he’s around 8 and Garp being the chillest man ever is like “ok??? I have a grandson/daughter then. I don’t really care. Have you thought if a new name for yourself?” And when Ace shakes his head no. Garp thinks for a moment before sitting with the boy and telling him about Rouge and one of the few things the woman had told him before she died. What they were going to name ace. Ace if he was a boy. And Ann if she was a girl. And hearing this, Ace in tears takes the name of his preferred gender as a way of still honouring his mother and the name she chose for him. No having to feel guilt of hating the name he was born with even if it was one of the only things his mother had been able to give him. Idk I just think it’s cute

Luffy really is trying to be thoughtful when he does things for you. He just ends up messing around and, well- messing things up! Like how he tried to bake you a cake in the middle of the night since Sanjiwould never let him in the day! 😊 (The kitchen almost burned down. Franky had to repair it 😬)

Luffy was banned from a number of things after that but he did make you a mud pie! He used to make them all the time when he was younger and he figured you’d like one! Here ya go! 😃👍

Luffy and you barely have and slow and relaxing moments but when you do it’s very comforting. Usually in the middle of the night during a rare occasion that Luffy ate enough so he doesn’t get up for snacks or adventure

It's pride month, and that sounds like a perfect excuse to talk about my gender.

I'm just yapping, the thoughts aren't particularly connected but they are in my mind and it's almost 4 AM and I want to talk about my gender

A lot of times I feel like I'm expected to fit into a specific title, and when the titles I'm offered don't work I feel like people don't care about knowing about it anymore

I'm not a girl. But I enjoy cute clothes, makeup, romance, "typical girly things".

I'm not really a guy either. I like sports, weight lifting, having facial hair, "typical manly things".

Despite what the last two may have led you to think, I'm not non-binary. I'm not a girl or boy, I express my gender differently on different days, I like to be seen as androgynous, "typical enby things".

I identify as genderqueer, cause that's just what my gender is. It's queer, it's weird, it's mine.

I'm not a particularly feminine person but I like to wear skirts. I'm not a particularly masculine person but I like to play baseball. I'm not a particularly androgynous person but I like to be seen as something else entirely.

Do you understand what I'm getting at here? Is this making sense?

My gender is me and my pronouns are too

"He/him" is me. Am I a boy? Not really, no

"It/Itself" is me. Do I think I'm an object? Be for fucking real.

"She/Her" and "They/Them" are not me. I don't care if you don't feel comfortable calling me an it, call me a he not a they. I'm not "They/Them" I am "He/It"

Another thing about my gender is how dysphoria works for me

My body isn't what I want it to be, if I had a choice (with no reprocutions!!) I'd be smooth in the crotch like barbie with a chest like ken but since I know that's not possible I'll just settle for top surgery

Sometimes when I look in the mirror I like the shape of my body and I'm okay with the body I was born into. Other times I look at it and I can't stand it, it feels like that's not me.

Dysphoria depends hour by hour for me, but my gender doesn't change with the dysphoria I'm always just me

My gender is not feminine enough for me to be comfortable dating someone who identifies as a lesbian. I've dated someone who does, I know this for sure. It made me feel like just a girl that's treated like she only wants to be different.

I've never dated someone who identifies as gay (masc) but I feel like it would be the same way. I would feel like just a boy that's treated like he only wants to be different.

I wasn't my partner to know that my gender is not either of those. I am not a girl and I am not a boy. I am not your "wife" or your "girlfriend and I am not your "husband" or your "boyfriend". I'm your partner, your lover, your other half, just anything besides those.

Granted there are a few acceptions to the gendered titles thing. "Malewife" and "boytoy" are acceptable even though I'm asexual and they tend to have sexual connotations. I think they're silly

"Guy" and "brother" are terms I generally use gender neutrally so I'm fine with them being used on me

"Pretty" is a feminine compliment that I like

-ace spoils the life out of sol’s pokemon and sol gets playfully exasperated about this. delphox and zoroark and ace’s other pkmn *love* sol and will attempt to snuggle with them at all times. sol spoils them when they think no one’s looking (someone always is)

-sol’s togekiss was a gift from ace! they got it as an egg.

-sol is usually the little spoon but ace is a big snuggler so this sometimes switches. ace was v used to taking up as little space as possible when sleeping on the street/in meteor but after they get an apartment together they feel more comfy taking up space. sol will wake up and ace is either snuggled with arms around her or halfway off the bed, no in between

-they love to cook together. sol isn’t as good at it but they’re learning!!

-they’re both huge dorks. just in different ways !! sol has a v playful teasing silly side. ace loves to affectionately tease and flirt with and compliment them but gets very flustered when they do the same thing.

- the two most oblivious people. danced around not knowing they had feelings a lot at first bc they both were useless gays. (“we’re advanced friends” “you literally kissed??”)

- love doing little mundane things together that neither ever really got to do before. holding hands on walks in the city parks, baking together and getting flour everywhere, watching movies together, etc.

tried to vent in a trans space about how, as a trans man who’s been on T for a long time (over 7 years now), i have noticed that the more i pass as a man, the less welcomed i am in queer spaces unless i go out of my way to feminize myself. and how that sucks! and it’s isolating!!! and it feels horrible to see ppl who used to like you and be close to you drift further and further the more masculine (& therefore more comfortable in urself) u become��

only to get ppl replying to me and saying “well if you dressed more fem then ppl wouldn’t be intimidated by you. you signed up for this”

i’m sorry but i didnt sign up for social isolation when i transitioned, i signed up for gender euphoria and comfort in myself and my life. and i had hoped that the ppl in my life would be able to see how much joy that brings me and continue to love me.
