Danny's seen many loved ones come and go, and he has almost been beaten down countless times. But life goes on, and through the years, Danny's learned to live with that by making new memories to remember, and rekindling old ones.

“Mr. Leverton, it’s already past seven! I’ll be heading out in a moment, you can close up shop soon,” Danny heard a young voice call from the second floor of an old mechanics shop. He took off his gloves and wiped his forehead before mumbling, “Is it really that late already?” to himself. But it seemed that his apprentice still heard him once he started strolling down the wooden stairs.

“Yes, really! Now, please don’t continue working on that and just go home to rest, will ya?” Sawyer chastised the older man with slight exasperation; knowing that if he did not hound Danny, the man may stay holed up here all night and not even realize it until Sawyer returned the next morning.

It’s happened before. Several times too many, in fact. Danny chuckled, “Who’s in charge of who here?” he joked with a roll of his eyes. But he still did as told and started to put all his tools in their right places.

“Har har, you know you’ll get too invested otherwise if you weren’t already, Mr. Leverton,” the young man reiterated once more. He then went and shrugged on his winter coat before saying goodbye and walking out of the shop with a skip. Danny waved at him as he did so, of course.

“Well, he’s not wrong,” Mr. ‘Leverton’ said as he pushed himself up from his stool and cracked his neck.

It’s been a long time since Danny’s gone by the last name ‘Fenton’; it’s been roughly 170 years, in fact. After all, he didn’t have any family when he was a kid, besides his parents, sister, and aunt Alicia, of course. But Jazz and her wife never had any kids of their own, despite fostering many others. Aunt Alicia never remarried after her divorce, plenty satisfied to live her life ‘till the end on her own.

That left Danny, but given the … circumstances of his existence, he quickly shot down any idea of having kids, biological or adopted.

So the Fenton Family’s lineage ended with Jazz and him, some 350 years ago when Jazz passed. He’d faked his death for the public long before then. You could only claim you’re an exceptionally young-looking 40-year-old for so long, after all.

That was until he decided to bring it back briefly, about 200 years ago, for another run and go. He didn’t like the idea of disconnecting himself from his first identity forever, entirely. Even if he had to use a different first name that time.

The second name he’d decided to use was Nightingale. In a hilarious turn of fate, during that 30-year period, there seemed to have been a resurgence in interest in witchcraft.

A lot has changed in the over 400-year period he’s wandered the Earth, yet, not so much has changed at all. And that was why Danny nowadays preferred to keep himself under the radar, and people at an arm’s length.

While he technically retired himself from the superhero business several centuries ago, what, with the amount of his rogues mellowing out and there being less need for Phantom to be able to show up at any moment; he would still help out whenever necessary. Such as, when there were catastrophes from space threatening the entire globe and its attached afterlife, something he’d done before but no one remembers nowadays. Or, when the wrong people got a hold of the rapidly developed technology and weapons of warfare, ones so strong and destructive the humans themselves do not even have any preventive measures for. But that was neither here nor there.

He preferred it this way. He was getting old – albeit not physically, he definitely was mentally – and he’d never been too fond of being part of the superhero business in general. He was merely thrust into it at a ripe fourteen years of age due to a stupid mistake stupid kids made. He was thankful he could mostly part ways with that life, nowadays. Jazz also said that it had made him happier.

“Speaking of…” it’s been a while since he’s visited his sister. The only one from his immediate circle that became a ghost. His parents likely would’ve rather been burned to death than become ghosts in the afterlife, and Sam and Tucker … Danny supposed they’d lived a fulfilling enough life to not return.

He was happy for them, for that fact; even if it had hurt at first when he realized. Even when it still hurt, over 300 years later to know they’d moved on from him. But perhaps love was never meant to be, for a being such as himself.

Jazz, on the other hand, said that she would never be able to leave her baby brother to fend for himself, especially if this baby brother was some immortal semi-godlike being who’s made more than a few bad decisions in his then-normal-lifespan. Danny had laughed at that proclamation at first. Until she really came back to haunt him forever in the afterlife that is.

Danny went ahead and locked up the door of his mechanics’ shop before heading up the stairs to the second floor, personal belongings in tow. He’d rather not open a portal and disappear through it, right in front of the large windows the first floor had.

The halfa took a gentle breath and dipped into a bit of concentration before tearing a hole through reality – its veil was rather thin, all things considered. After all these years and so much experience, creating portals was like child’s play to him – hell, even creating duplicates was.

He then let his familiar transformation wash over him before flying through the portal and closing it off again with a wave of his gloved hand once he was on the other side.

Danny found himself in a familiar area of the Ghost Zone – some small spectral village that was built roughly 700 years ago, if he remembered his history correctly. He shouldn’t let Clockwork know that he’s already forgotten the lessons he gave him; he’d be so disappointed.

Danny looked around in the air briefly before slowly floating down toward the paved roads, and just when he came to a halt, a few inches off the floor, a shrill voice caught his attention.

“Phantom!” it happily called out, loudly – and before Danny was able to turn around he was tackled into a hug by some familiar weight. Once his eyes landed on his assailant, everything made sense. “Hi there to you too, Brianne,” he greeted kindly. The ghost child giggled and kicked her feet before she looked up at him again. “Aunt Jazz has been worried sick!” she continued.

Danny’s eyes widened momentarily, and he quickly tried to hide his shock again. “And why would she be?” he asked as he patted the girl’s head, even though he had several guesses for why Jazz could be worried to the point others would know about it.

“She’s been muttering to herself about how it’s been too long since you visited…” Brianne answered with a scrunched expression, as if deep in thought and racking her brain to remember the details. “Also something about … afraid that frostbite would get to you? Or not get to you? I don’t know why she would be though! You have an ice core,” she continued on.

Danny chuckled and patted her head once more, “She’s probably worried that Mr. Frostbite, chief of the Far Frozen-” “Wouldn’t be able to find this reckless uncle of yours when he inevitably forgot his check-ups again,” Jazz added.

“Jazz!” Danny remarked surprised, but also excited, “Did you really have to put it like that?” he asked sheepishly.

“It wouldn’t be the first time, now would it? It’s a valid concern; you haven’t visited me in two years!” she chided her brother, her always younger baby brother – no matter how old or powerful he’s gotten.

Danny’s expression became slightly pained. He huffed and motioned his head to the side briefly as if to tell his sister, ‘Let’s continue this at your place,’ and it seemed that Jazz agreed. His sister looked down at the girl standing confused between the two of them and quietly told her something or another – Danny didn’t quite catch it – and she immediately went on her merry way.

Jazz started walking once Brianne had gone off, and Danny made it a point to close the distance he had with the ground and walk alongside her. Despite being able to fly, as the skill was part of any ghost’s basic repertoire, Jazz was one of the few ghostly inhabitants of the ‘Zone who had always preferred to feel her feet planted on the ground, even after death. He saw no need to mention it and was always happy to join her; gently grabbing her hand as he did so.

“I’m sorry that it’s been so long,” he started after a moment of not-so-uncomfortable quiet, “It’s just … After all these years-” “Time catches up to you, and you lose track of it instead,” Jazz finished his sentence for him once more. She exhaled, revealing no emotion with that action, not really. “I know, we’ve been through this plenty of times before, I got that by the time you turned 320 well enough,” she continued.

“But that doesn’t mean I can’t still point it out. Who knows what would happen otherwise?” she added after a beat of silence. “What? You’re afraid I’ll forget to visit you for decades at a time, or something?” Danny asked with a chuckle, rhetorically, mostly.

Jazz halted in her steps, forcing Danny to a stop too, and making him turn to see her raising an unimpressed eyebrow at him. “Heh, maybe you’re right,” he said with a sigh.

“You’re the one who said you lose track of time, after all. And I don’t think it’ll ever really get better,” she said, her tone devoid of judgment.

When they continued walking, but Danny didn’t respond for a few moments too long, Jazz spoke again. “You know I don’t blame you, right? It’s not unnatural – it’s just – I don’t want to lose you also,” she said quietly.

“You don’t have to! Isn’t that why you became a ghost in the first place? So we’d never lose each other,” Danny responded.

Jazz sighed and nodded. “Yes, but when you don’t contact me for so long, it’s … hard to not get scared. And before you say anything about me joining you – you know very well that I can’t sustain myself outside the Ghost Zone for long like you can, now that you move around the globe instead of staying put in Amity. Not that you should ever feel compelled to do that, of course.”

Once they’d arrived at Jazz’s doorstep, she removed her hand from Danny’s to find her keys and unlock the door, before opening it and letting Danny through. Doors in the ‘Zone were very much Ghost-proof, after all. But not so much human proof. Danny quickly dropped himself on the sofa with a satisfied “Humph”, making Jazz shake her head at him as she locked the door again.

“Do you want something to drink?” she asked, already making her way to the kitchen.

“Some ecto-jasmine will do,” Danny responded.

“Do I even want to know if that’s a poor attempt at a joke, or not?”

“Why not both? And hey! It is not poor,” a beat went by, “Okay, maybe it is.”

Danny sighed as he watched his sister work, shaking his head, “But no, you’re … right. I should probably be putting more effort into this … relationships thing. At least for others, even if not myself.”

“Oh?” Jazz responded curiously from the kitchen across.

Danny noted long ago how her home in the Ghost Zone – her Keep manifested from herself – resembled the different houses she’s lived in in her human life. That’s nothing strange, not at all. Many ghosts’ Keeps reflected parts of themselves, or their mortal lives. What was notable however was just how akin to the Fenton house in Amity Park Jazz’s was. Despite everything, it meant that her memories tied to it were comfortable and strong enough to manifest like this.

Contrary, Danny’s Keep – besides the one previously belonging to Pariah – was a weird amalgamation of their childhood home from before they moved to Amity, his many houses since then, and hell – it even saw a bit of Sam’s home! And it still changed to this day, as every new house he inhabited for a longer period of time would shift it again, even if it had been happening less frequently or substantially than before. One thing stayed consistent, however, and that was that there was a distinct lack of their home in Amity Park.

Jazz had mentioned before that it likely meant Danny had separated himself entirely from that aspect of his life, and that that was okay. That it was a form of healing as well.

But Danny couldn’t help but feel like it meant he was running away from it. His life and experiences there were what made him into the man he is today, after all. But that was neither here nor there.

Danny nodded, even though he knew Jazz wouldn’t be able to see it, and responded, “Yeah … for you. For Brianne,” a child taken too soon. A young ghost Danny found wandering around, lost in the Ghost Zone, shortly after her death. Now in the care of the community here, “And I’ve … taken on a human apprentice.” Danny finally bit the bullet and admitted it.

Danny then heard some ceramic shatter.

He jumped up from the couch alarmed, “Is everything alright?” he asked hastily.

Jazz sucked in a breath of air through gritted teeth before responding, “Yeah, I’m fine. Don’t worry.”

She then grabbed a new cup, poured the tea in it, and returned with two of them in hand to the living room. As she set them down, she continued talking, “I was just caught off guard. I mean, you? Of all people taking in a human apprentice? When your only answer to me goading you into establishing more relationships with people again was ‘Nah.’ for the longest time? Sue me for not believing it immediately,” she said sarcastically.

“Very funny, Jazz. But I really can’t blame ya,” Danny responded, accepting defeat.

Jazz’s expression turned softer as she pinned her brother down and sighed, “Of course you can’t. Anyway, care to elaborate?” she asked as she raised her cup of tea to her mouth, taking a gentle sip of the hot beverage.

Danny closed his eyes and shook his head as he picked up his tea as well, responding, “It’s not like you’ll let me out of here until I do so,” he said. “You know me well, little brother,” she teased.

“What caused this change in heart?” Or resurfacing perhaps, that’d be a more accurate description.

Danny pouted in thought for a moment. “I just met this kid, Sawyer’s his name, a few months ago. He has a talent for engineering, but I found out soon after that his family probably wouldn’t be able to send him to college for that. Even after so long, the world hasn’t really become more fair. If it hasn’t gotten worse, that is,” he explained.

Jazz sighed, disappointed but not surprised, “That doesn’t shock me in the slightest. Anyway, so you thought you’d teach him the ropes?” The halfa nodded, “Basically; and maybe he’ll be able to get a scholarship after that, if he wants to, anyway.”

“You saw a part of yourself in him, didn’t you?” Jazz said, seemingly out of nowhere.

Danny huffed, just barely amused, “What made you think that?” he asked with suspicion.

“A young boy with uncultivated talents, really, Danny?” his sister asked in return, unimpressed.

Danny quieted at that. He’s been a lot quieter in general, especially compared to his youth, Jazz noted.

It wasn’t a surprise to anyone, and not a secret for anyone, that Danny changed a lot when his loved ones started passing one by one, while he stayed young and living forever. Jazz wasn’t exempt from that either, as the only one who continued to stay by his side, even if that meant continuing without her wife and dear friends who happily moved on.

The two of them always knew it would come to this, and they’d both made peace with it now. But it didn’t take a genius to realize that Danny’s solution to not experiencing this heartbreak again, was to distance himself from humankind. He stayed close, residing more in the human realm than the ghostly one, but he detached himself from relationships just enough for them to not get too close. For him to not get hurt too bad once he’d inevitably see them for a last time.

Unfortunately, in doing so, Danny separated himself from both communities that he was a part of.

Now, Jazz felt that for the first time in over a century, she saw the care he once carried all around him, emerge once more. This Sawyer kid, no doubt has been a huge part of that.

She saw the need to point it out as such, “I think this change has been good for you, little brother.” At Danny’s puzzled face, she continued, “You seem more energetic, more comfortable in your own body,” she said with a smile.

She set her cup down on the lounge table and walked over to Danny who was on the opposite side, kneeling down and holding her hand on top of his knee. “It must’ve hurt, keeping a part of yourself buried for so long,” she whispered quietly, but without another sound nearby it was louder than clear.

It was this comment that broke Danny’s defenses down, an attack so gentle it wouldn’t even have left a scratch. First came one tear, and then another, before they were followed by many more soon enough until her little brother was sobbing uncontrollably. Jazz didn’t think twice before embracing him in a tight hug.

He hugged back just as tightly, if not tighter. If Jazz were still human, she would’ve had to beg for air soon enough. So it was a good thing she didn’t have to.

The siblings just sat there, crying into each other’s shoulders for Ancients know how long.

On a clear spring day, Sawyer was prepared to head into Daniel Leverton’s shop early in the morning as he’s done many times before, half expecting he may have to wake up his teacher again; an occurrence that had become quite familiar to him as of late.

Instead, he was met with a decked-out first floor, a cake at his workbench, and a very awake Mr. Leverton.

“Happy birthday, I hope you’ll like your gift!” the raven-haired man had exclaimed.

Sawyer barked a laugh at that. “I honestly didn’t expect you to have remembered,” he said. His tone wasn’t rude, not in the slightest. He was merely stating a fact.

“I didn’t either, but hey, seems like old-timers still run alright once in a while,” he said with a wink.

And that had always been a peculiarity to Sawyer. He knew that Mr. Leverton was older than he looked. Even if he didn’t always act it, he had way too much experience for that not to be the case. But other times he would sound like any of his slightly older friends. Yet on occasion, he sounded like so much more. Even his grandparents wouldn’t have compared when they’d been alive.

Sawyer pushed those silly musings out of his head before accepting his gift – some tools that he may or may not have been drooling over while he was out with Mr. Leverton gathering supplies a few weeks ago, as well as some chocolates he vaguely remembered noting he enjoyed once, offhandedly.

For someone so air-headed – or perhaps, appearing to be on another plane entirely, the elder was attentive like no other.

Daniel Leverton was a curious man, and he continued to surprise the young mechanic.

It was on a different spring morning, several springs after that birthday, that Sawyer received an important email.

It was an email of acceptance into college – one dictating that he’d be the recipient of a scholarship, no less.

Mr. Leverton was the first person he’d tell about this news. Instead of the immediate excitement that he’d expected of the man, he received a pondering expression.

“Y’know, I was about to ask if you were interested in taking over the shop,” he’d said after he left Sawyer to wander about in his own confusion for a while.

Before he could respond, however, Leverton continued, “I’m proud of you, you should definitely go for it, I know how much it means for you. Just know you’ll always have a place to return to.”

“What are you going to do then?” he responded.

Mr. Leverton hummed with his trademark smirk and grinned, “I was thinking of taking an early pension and traveling the world for a bit. I still have a lot of inheritance left from my too-rich godfather, too. And I’ll keep the building for now, but clients will have to find a new favorite mechanic. Oh, I just know how much it’ll pain them to not find me again though, truly tragic,” he explained dramatically.

“You know, Mr. Leverton, sometimes it really doesn’t feel like you’re the older one of the two of us anymore,” Sawyer teased.

“Oh, but I can assure you I am,” the other said with a wink, “But feel free to call me Danny. Seeing you call me Mr. Leverton to this day really does make me feel so old,” he continued, placing a hand on his heart with a pained expression.

“Heh, okay, Danny,” Sawyer tested the name on his tongue. “I’ll let you know about the shop when I get close to graduating, yeah?”

“We have a deal!” Danny responded as he theatrically shook his hand. “Those stuck-up academics won’t know what’ll hit them.”

Danny didn’t actually travel the world like he’d told Sawyer; he’d done that plenty of times before. Going on two world-round trips within a century sounded kinda overkill, even to him.

No, what he did in actuality was that he decided to reside in the Infinite Realms for a little longer again – while still returning to Earth on occasion to let the systems know that he had not, in fact, died yet. He didn’t plan on doing that for a few years yet.

Well, that wasn’t entirely true. Danny’s been planning on his new identity for a bit now. Or, well, old identity.

“Do you think the world is ready for the return of Danny Fenton?” he’d mused to Jazz on a seemingly random day.

“I don’t see why not,” she responded. “What brought you to this decision?”

“I just think it would be nice to revisit some old memories, friends, and places.”

Jazz smiled serenely at that. “I think that’s a great idea, Danny.”

“Heard anything from Sawyer recently?” Jazz asked him one day, a different random day. Danny shook his head.

“Nah, seems like he’s been living a good life. He hasn’t been updating me as frequently lately, but I like to see that as him broadening his circles,” he responded fondly. But then, his mortal phone rang – techniques to make them compatible with ghost-tech and the ‘Zone courtesy to Tucker, of course – and he laughed. “Speak of the devil.” He transformed into his human form before picking up the call.

“Hey there, Sawyer. How’s school been?”

“It’s … been very great, actually, Danny. I have met someone very great, in fact. But uhm – more on that later. Remember what you said about the shop?”

Danny returned to his cozy little shop for the first time in roughly four years, not so long after he’d attended Sawyer’s graduation ceremony. He picked up a few of his belongings he couldn’t miss, and threw them inside his pocket dimension for safekeeping.

It was as he did this, that Sawyer entered, and caught him in the act. He’d been planning for this to happen, really.

The young man looked a bit confused but didn’t see any need to press further. If anything, Danny figured this would answer some questions in the long run, once the other thought about it.

“Heh, that’s not something you see any day,” was the boy’s first comment.

“Really? I see it happen plenty of times,” Danny snarked back.

“Man, I’d so want to punt you if I didn’t know for sure I stood no chance.”

Danny hummed, “I think you’ll have to stand back in the line for that.”

Neither man said another thing for a while after that, until Danny’s eyes landed on a small ecto-ornament he’d put on his table when he left for the Ghost Zone those years ago. He picked it up and held it out to Sawyer.

“Here, keep this. If you’ll ever be gone for a while, put this out in the open and it’ll put the area into stasis. Nothing will age for the worse, and it’ll serve as a protective charm against burglaries,” Danny said in a light tone at the end, though he wasn’t joking. Attempted burglars will wake up more than a little dazed if they so much as dare touch upon the shop.

“I … Honestly, I’m not even gonna question that. I just saw you tear a hole in reality,” Sawyer responded.

“That’s probably for the best,” Danny said with a gentle nod of his head before putting the ornament into the young man’s hands.

“Anyway, I’ve got everything I need. You can keep the rest, or throw it out – whatever floats your boat. This place is yours now. I left my key and the spares on my workbench,” Danny explained with a tilt of his head.

“What are you going to do this time?”

“That’s a secret,” Danny replied. “But do come find me again, as a man named Daniel Fenton.”

Years pass by, with Sawyer finding no such man.

Until one day, into his later years, when his children had already taken over the shop, he heard a familiar voice he’d not heard in decades, but could never forget.

“Hey there, Sawyer,” Danny Fenton said, in the flesh; not looking a day older than their last meeting all those years ago.

“I’m proud of you.” And I of you.

You know I keep seeing people do the Danny and Damian are twins thing, and Danny is in Amity Park because Ra’s got rid of Danny because there should only be 1 heir.

But like that’s the opposite of what anyone in power wants. Heir and a Spare my friend. You always want a back up in case you lose the first.

Especially for Ra’s who’s purpose for heirs was not for them to have the role of Demon Head passed down to them, but for Ra’s to take over their body so that Ra’s could continue to evade death.

He doesn’t really have heirs even if that’s what he refers to them as. What he really has are potential new meat suits.

Ra’s not having enough suitable heirs was like an entire story line for him at one point. Suitable as in male and not albino.

So he’d 100% hold on to Danny as a back up unless there was something medically wrong with him. And honestly probably not even then.

Like he didn’t kill Dusan or anything, heck he didn’t even send Dusan away. And he was very obviously born albino. Ra’s didn’t get rid of Mara after Damien blinded her in one eye. So disability isn’t really something that makes him kill or banish his descendants.

Other than Damian, the rest of his descendants are either women (and there for not suitable replacement bodies) or have some kind of disability (albinism) that he doesn’t want to inherit when he steals their body for immortality.

Though it’d be highly unlikely for Danny to have any kind of physical disability that he would be born with if he and Damian are twins. Damian was “genetically perfected” while in the womb-tube that Talia was growing him in. No way they wouldn’t have done the same thing to Danny.

So the only way for Danny to have gone missing from the Ra’s family was if he’d faked his own death while out on a mission.

Sure Ra’s older daughter Nyssa eventually left of her own free will, but she was already an adult, and a trained warrior when she met Ra’s in the first place.

Danny wouldn’t have this option due to being raised in the league, constantly surrounded by fighters stronger and more ruthless than him. The only way he’d be able to leave, would be if he managed to trick everyone into thinking he was dead.

Get what you wished for

First time writing a prompt: DP X DC au “get what you wished for”

Au where Danny is the blood daughter of Batcat is between Dick and Jason's age. Selina gave up Dione Luna Wayne as she help she is unable to raise her and Bruce would paint a target on her daughter's back. As a memento, she left two stuffed cats, a letter and a bat toy to remember her by.

How the Fentons got Danny: Gotham is full of supernatural energy, with the Lazarus pits under it. The Fentons trying to find a place to create a bigger portal with LP juice,(experiments can fuck you up reproductively. Jazz was a struggle to birth.)

Jasmine comes across Baby Dione and duckling imprints on her. The Fentons don’t realize the baby was abandoned and named him Danny, not realizing the wrong gender( they never do), no claim to the baby, ours now.

The Fentons take some LP juice to find more LP juice, which in amity park, there is a bunch(uncorrupted) and the ley lines are weak there. (finds house over direct access to an unclaimed Lazarus pit, and builds a secret third basement to get more ectoplasm to fuel their obsession. LP is ectoplasm btw.)

Danny is genderfluid but presents themselves as FTM Trans.

Portal time!: Danny shows his friends, Sam and Tuck his parent's third child, the portal. Peer pressured by their only friends, Danny goes into the plugged, malfunctioning portal, only to get zapped where their soul and body are fused as one being, unable to separate. (Danny sort of blames his friends for their death but appreciates that they are sticking by them. But later realizes they are their ticket to excitement.)

Jasmine notices right away that something is wrong with Danny. (Jazz is much closer to Danny in this au)

Danny is more independent in this au. (make more friends with ghosts, help them than enemies)

Danny by extension is an atlas of the Infinite realms and Earth, is pretty much op. Picking up skills and powers like nobody's business, (immortality? maybe, BAMF? definitely) Clockwork as ghost parent, Ellie, Dan, the other clones and Jazz as their sisters/brothers/ children and being High Eldritch sovereign of the Infinite realms. ( Fuck u, Vlad, everyone can see ur evil corrupt ass, creepy and fake)

Dual Obsession is space and peace/protection, has a multi-core and is blessed by the zone itself.

Amity Park is in a time/paradox bubble where the events of Danny Phantom occur. (in all 3 cannon seasons, they have never celebrated a birthday, I‘ve noticed.)

How Bat fam meets Danny: It’s been a few years, Danny reveals to their parents his status they are excited and can’t wait to figure out how he survived. The GIW has bugged their home and raided their house as their want also figure out how Danny survived, and make Super-Soldiers. (tipped off by Vlad)

Danny and Jazz take this as a worst-case scenario and book it to Gotham by Danny's suggestion because their bio-fam lives there and Gotham energy fuck with ectoplasm readings. Danny starts to look for his mom Selina, but when the civilian bat fam sees them, they look like a young Martha Wayne. Jazz starts working in Arkham internship for her Psychology degree and Danny goes to Gotham U for College. Some of Danny’s Ghost friends follow them, i.e: Desiree.

Angst time: Bruce's wish vs. Damian's wish

Bruce's wish: "I wish I knew you earlier in life to protect you..."

Bruce is given Dione at a very young age and does his best at trying to raise her.

Dione is clueless about her family's trade secret. She is a civilian and sort of grew up alone. (Bruce was busy being batman and CEO of WE, Tim drake situation, baby alone in a big empty house.)

Bruce still adopts Dick, Jason, Tim, Cass, Steph, Damian and Duke. (Damian and duke after the event)

Loves what Bruce does for Gotham, doesn't like that Wayne Enterprise takes most of his time away from the family, and hates Batman because of the ouroboros he creates in Gotham. (Endless cycle of crime, rehab, corruption, murder{Thank you, xmarksthespotonthemilkyway for Supervillain DAD! lex Luthor})

Dione has many hobbies to pass the time while she waits for her family, mainly she paints, writes and spends time with Alfred who she considers her real father instead of Bruce. (Being Batman has downsides, people!)

Selina visits her daughter at the manor and is pissed at Bruce for treating their daughter like a rotting bird in a cage. (Expect it to be there when he returns, to see it leave or die because you took too long to cherish it.)

• ANGST+: After Jason's death and resurrection, The sibs try to get Jason to come to the manor to show Dione that he is alive, at first Dione doesn't believe him or them, but he convinced her otherwise. This is where she learns that their vigilantes. (Jason and Dione were friends that get along like a house on fire, but the house exploded and Dione felt something missing in her life.)

Bruce and Jason as Batman and Red Hood have a huge fight in one of the manor rooms destroying some property and shit. Turns out it was Dione's painting room, where she was secretly working on a portrait painting of the whole family (including the late Jason Todd) for Bruce's birthday, and it gets ruined.

Dione berates them for destroying her work and declares that she fucking hates this family and what they put her through all the time.

Decides she wants to stay with Selina instead. During this time, Dione realizes a way to end the ouroboros cycle and decides to kill the joker in a quiet way, for all the hell he put her and her family through. (Lures joker to an unmarked hill location away from people to a hole in the ground with a wooden casket and fires five rounds at him. He falls in gets covered and is buried alive as he slowly dies from gunshot wounds. She can't have what she wants, and neither will he.)

Dione, later reveals to the family that she killed the joker after he doesn't return to Arkham and can't be found.

Bruce sends her to jail.

The sibs are pissed at Bruce for doing that, while at the GCPD, Dione is taken advantage of and raped by corrupt cops.

The sibs try to get her out and get her to tell them where Joker's buried, but she takes as the cycle is still continuing and commits suicide in Jail. (In her letter to them, she tells her final wish is to be buried on a hill with a clear view of the night sky with a big tree in an unmarked grave, so she can be forgotten as a part of her family, but not Gotham.)

Bruce feels fucking guilty that he pushed his daughter to this point, Selina and Alfred are at an end with him telling him I told you so and feel that Dione should not have been born into this life. (distraught, but once Damian and Duke enter the picture, they treat them better as a family.)

Dione is fully dead and becomes a ghost.

Batman and co. meet the new ruler of the Infinite Realms, and Recognize the ruler, Dione chose to let go of her past and forget them as they have done to her.

Damian's wish: "I wish you were never our sister..."

This is technically the Canon bat fam x DP timelines, but with a few twists.

• Dick is the one holding the fam together. He is more tired and stressed than before, maybe graying early..? (stressed and secretly depressed.)

• Jason is more angst and vengeful than normal and fucking hates Bruce. (Jason is like kill the serial to end the cycle, avenge me, Bruce.)

• Tim despises Damian more so than usual and tolerates Bruce. (baby brother attempts to murder, gets light punishment and the victim is not okay.)

• Stephanie isn't really part of the bat family, goes by spoiler, and is studying to be a nurse. (quit being robin earlier, distant self from negative influence, dated Tim, now Cass.)

• Cass, while mute doesn't communicate well with the rest of the family, which leads her to be quiet more often. (not expressive.)

• Duke, the newest to the family, has a hard time understanding the rest of the family's issues with each other, fearing the family's reaction to him being a meta. ( Batman is more strict with no metas rule, Duke still becomes signal. )

• Alfred is still Canon, but more strict than normal. (Put up with this shit Alfred, but loves his adopted son and grandkids.)

Bruce is still Canon. Mostly negative, hard on himself, the family and everyone he interacts with, and wears a mask (not a physical one) to hide his emotions. Is more Batman than Bruce Wayne. (grunts don't meet clear communication Bruce!!!)

• Damian is still Damian in this verse with his pets but loses his friendship with Jon. (no metas in Gotham, Bruce tolerates Superman.)

Danny Phantom x My Hero Academia writing prompt

The premise (what's written in my notes)

Danny Phantom x My Hero Academia. Immortal (Ghost King?) Danny. Izuku can see ghosts.

So in that ghost hospital episode (Danny Phantom), a bunch of Casper High kids got ghost powers but they lost them at the end of the episode. What if one of them moved to China, had a kid, and it's the glowing baby (My Hero Academia)?? What if they were the reasons quirks started??? 200+ years later, Danny comes out of the Ghost Zone to see what's going on in the living realm and sees people with powers everywhere! He sees that there are professional heroes and decides to become one (protection obsession?). He isn't the most famous, but he loves his job and moves countries every few years. He starts in America and then moves to Canada, or Brazil, or England. Izuku is born and can either see ghosts immediately (mutation in his eyes like Yuuei Survival Guide) or gets his quirk at four or whatever. Danny goes to Japan. Izuku grows up seeing ghosts and being seen as weird and/or called a fake/liar but still wants to be a hero and goes to UA (IDK if he gets One For All). At the sports festival, it's announced that Izuku can see ghosts so Danny sends him an internship invite. Izuku accepts because he didn't get too many and this guy seems cool. Shenanigans ensue?

Oh Archons There's Two of Them AU

Run of the mill Nameless Bard revival au

Except it completely operates on the rule of funny and now there's two Ventis in Mondstadt who claim to be siblings who keep giving conflicting information and clarify NOTHING

Anemo Archon Dvalin AU

Dvalin becomes the new archon after Venti dies during the Cataclysm

500 years later he befriends Celio, the reincarnation of Nameless Bard, and they both try to uncover a divine conspiracy

Roleswap AU

If Venti still somehow managed to pull through the Cataclysm in the previous AU.

Dvalin proceeds to become stress incarnate just trying to get Venti some help with the poison and everything just keeps going wrong

Nameless Bard is usually stuck inside because of his poor health and overprotective parent, but Venti often visits him in the spring and brings him little things like flowers and bird feathers in the breeze

Venti had lost a wing during an incident and Nameless Bard ran through a storm to get him to safety, making his health turn for the worst in the process

Still, Istaroth, the queen of the fairies was so moved by the lengths the two would go for each other that she lets the Bard visit the forest as much as he wants and gives him her favor

A Honkai Star Rail AU where Nameless Bard had been part of the old Astral Express crew before it broke down

The Bard is on the Destruction Path while Venti is on the Harmony Path (and may or may not be one of Xipe's Emanators)

They got separated at some point, and due to some time dilation shenanigans, the Bard ends up a thousand years in the future trying to look for any traces of his old friends

Venti's "slumbers" are actually just him being dead

Here's a rough outline of the contents of the 3 protagonists and 3 main characters (At first, I want background to be brown. Why is it red? Also, Danny is the green light ball and Homura is the purple light ball).

From this Announce4: Link I already explained the main light path story, dark path story and shadow path with 3 main characters that who 3 main characters are.The other 3 main characters will play the roles of the protagonist on each path as the leader, Syaoran, Peter and King Gilgamesh. This Illustration show describes the beginning of the concept of the 6 main characters' adventure.

Syaoran Tsubasa: Path as protagonist started before season1. Starting by Syaoran chose to do what he did not do back then to move forward and saved Sakura. Even Syaoran knew that will take much of the burden and the sin that he thought that not be forgiven like Fai's fate changed and Kurogane's fate changed, but these two still said to him as the family that it is not your fault and to take all responsibility for them on to your own is a bit arrogant. (Same content of Tsubasa chronicle vol 26 chapter 203)

Sonic Crowe: Path as the main character started in season 7. Starting by Sonic decided to come with Syaoran's group and desired to find his last family, his brother. He finally got his memory in the past back and got rid of his curse, the Dark Sonic. Sonic finally know the truth that this world or any world, doesn't have real freedom or a real happy ending for everyone or saving everything. What a foolishly ideal he is. Everything was cruel, but Sonic still believe that there was still a way to change things for the right, but how?(Hint: Sonic's curse(As Vaten Hörmulegt) was sealed by Punch Whalen from season11.)

Peter Pendragon: Path as protagonist started around before season1 and season9. Starting with the sword was chosen Peter Pan by Aruku, who resides in the Sword, and gave the purpose of assisting chosen Hero in fulfilling his destiny as the true king Arthur appropriate to will use the Real sword Caliburn. Aruku told Peter to find 2 spirits to create the Real sword Caliburn but needed to go outside the world. The first time that Peter leaves Neverland with Tinkerbell. Also, the wish that Peter wanted to meet Punch again.

Punch Whalen: Path as the main character started in season11(Chapter1 Secret Truth of the Past). Starting by Punch decided to change the fate of the end of the world, save Yesudas, go with Enkidu and want to know about King Gilgamesh. Punch lost her other personality in season10(Chapter2 Fake World), and Punch wanted to find that personality, she believes that personality was already born as her other self. But don't know why that memory of King Gilgamesh always comes to her every time. And so she believes that Golden king is her other self.(Hint: That Super yellow look like Sonic is Punch Whalen’s half true identity.)

_____ Gilgamesh: Path as protagonist started in season 7(Chapter1 Secret Truth of the Past(Gilgamesh’s Journal)).Starting after losing Enkidu Gilgamesh fell into darkness. Enkidu, who held power equal to his own, died and hit Gilgamesh hard. Tormented by the fear of “death,” Gilgamesh set out on a journey to the underworld, seeking immortality. Gilgamesh got the immortality and was told by Homura that Gilgamesh already had immortality by the power inside him, the power of creation that is also the part of the god of nothingness. Gilgamesh decided to change the fate of the end of the world and stop the god of darkness.(Same content some of them in Epic of Gilgamesh)(Hint: Gilgamesh was rescued by Punch Whalen when the Babylonian era fell.)

Danny Phantom: Path as the main character started in season11(Chapter2 Shadow Path(Butterfly Effect)). Starting by Danny decided to pay for his freedom and becomes Enkidu's peon after Danny finds the truth that Homura already knew Danny for a long time and failed to save him. But before that Homura did fail to save her best friend, Madoka. She went back in time, saved her again and again, without end. Until one day, her world was destroyed by Bete Noire. Homura lost everything only she was alive. As a family, he can't let Homura alone and felt despair that's why he wants to live once more time.

There will be a Prologue story for each of the 3 protagonists and 3 main characters later.(Let me be honest here, at first, Sonic and Gilgamesh aren't in my mind at all because they are already famous in both games and movies. But again, I found something interesting in their characters and they can connect to the story that I made. (Because I created Tsubasa of Phantasia, I finally like them, especially King Gilgamesh))

You're probably wondering why we didn't do it season by season. Because one story is very long. It's as simple as writing 4000 years of history (because I included games, movies, history, and others mixed into one) and only thinking about writing about one human life for 80 years or one year and 365 days, that is a very long time. Plus, it's not enough to finish the compilation in time. And if I don't You don't know that the story doesn't focus on a single protagonist.

😫 Alright, I will give you a hint about study these characters and how you know their personality basics. If you want to know Punch as a human with 2 personalities (will appear in Path of the Shadow light: Season 8(Story of Daily Life) before meeting Danny), go watch The Garden of Sinners, known in Japan as Kara no Kyoukai. Shiki show some of similar to Punch but not the same. Syaoran, watch Tsubasa chronicle,xxxholic and Tales of Phantasia(About the tree and system battle even HP and TP)(Find free time to watch BBC Merlin tv series, they are connected ). As Peter pan, watch Disney peter pan first, next play the legend of Zelda, and study link characters (especial Ocarina of time). As Danny, watch Danny Phantom again and find more information about Enkidu, they are connected. As Sonic, the basis is taken from Sonic X so watch Sonic X(Watch in japan country not in 4kid version). As Punch(again) and Gilgamesh, a basic study is in the game Fate extra ccc. Try to collect secret garden and you will know it. I suggest you find some time to read BLACK HOLE, einstein's universe, dimension, alien and dimension, steve jobs, universe, heart of nature(Like “Walden” by henry david thoreau ) and also watch The Matrix(1999), I, Robot(2004) and study more about jackie chan art martial.(To know story outline of Tsubasa of Phantasia)

Since you have multiple fics for multiple fandoms: For every fandom that you have written for, which is your favourite fic and why?

Star Wars: Horizon of Yesterday was my real first attempt to write Padme and it was fun writing her interacting with everyone in a way I wasn't used to writing. Danny Phantom: A Phantom Caress, it is perhaps one of my better works for Phantom it is also the single most pain in my ass that I have ever tried to write.

Invader Zim: Eclipse of Mercury as its my first attempt at writing the professor is an Alien well really just writing the professor lol

Harry Potter: Last Days of Summer simply because I actually wrote a what if Snape and Harry actually crossed paths where they live since they live near each other in canon lol

Hellsing: Blood Auction (Formerly Auction House) I like the idea and writing it has been an interesting ordeal lol

Hotel Transylvania: Dark Temptation: My first time writing these two, I thought it was cute.

The Flash: Train Wreck: Because I wanted to write a train derailment lol that was exactly what started this fic and I enjoyed writing it!

Super Mario: The Devil's Trap because it was my first time writing boo and I liked the visuals my mind gave me for certain parts of this fic.

Batman: Saving You Yesterday: One day I'd like to rewrite this beast of a fic, it's an odd pairing and a bomb ready to blow but it was interesting to have the pair interact in a new way.

Yu Yu Hakusho: Tora Kuwabara. I like Making Kuwabara a demon lol but this was probably one of my better versions and having him be a kitty cat was just a bonus lol

Miraculous Ladybug: Something like Love (I don't need) I never really did finish this the way I wanted to but time travel was fun and Marinette makes all the bad choices!

MegaMind: Comatose/Melting Faith These two are pretty much the same thing, a what if Megamind and Minion faked their deaths and how would metro man who was in love with Megamind would handle that. There are a lot of things I wanted to write for this idea and I am in the process of rewriting Comatose into my new writing style as I still love this idea.

Guardians of Childhood: Left Behind Chapter 5. It was quickly written but is still one of my favorite writes because it used Pitch's twisted nature and a darker side of Jack to show.

Case Closed: Fragmented chapter 18 I haven't written much but it's an interesting anime/manga and I had fun messing around with Shinichi and his possible crushes.

Highlander: Fragmented chapter 37: I don't play with these guys often but I enjoyed adding Vampires to semi-immortals who chop each others heads off lol

Kekkai Sensen | Blood Blockade Battlefront: Sick of it all: This was my first fic for this fandom and I enjoyed making Leonardo embarrassed :)

Marvel: Halloween is all we have chapter 13: I liked this because Bucky was sick and his mind was playing horrible tricks on him and it was the first time I thought i'd gotten terror down in a way that readers could feel it.

TMNT: Last Knight: Mostly because I loved Headless' fic and it has been such a rollercoaster to write. All the intricate pieces fit together and give us a new take on Shredder and his history.

Gravity falls: Shadow of Obsession chapter 2 I liked the idea of crossing the SCP foundation with Gravity Falls and this was the first attempt at it it was nice but I wanted more...pop? I guess lol

Riverdale S6 E2 (Rivervale Ch 2)

Happy New Year (this is being drafted Wk 1, 2022). My ‘reading’ Rivervale as a fanfic of Riverdale continues!

Alternate Universes that fic writers come up with can be completely hypnotizing if you the reader are on the same wavelength. By the same token, fanfic using alternative universes can be utterly alienating if it’s not a thing you’re into. For this installment, I must say that I was on the Read, Regret and Move On side of the dividing line for this AU that is Rivervale. Horror is not a favorite genre and because I find the myth of La Llorona as presented here kind of retrograde and boring. But! As a deliberate exploration of misogynist tropes that bind women characters in fiction this installment was very fascinating to analyze.

Trope 1: First up, La Llorona, the Stupid Misguided Woman On a Really Dumb Vengeance Mission of Futility

La Llorona is not scary to me so much as kind of frustrating because her character construction is so stupid. She really is. Consider, in contrast, the villain at the center of the Japanese horror masterpiece “Audition.” SPOILER WARNING: In that movie, a middle aged man’s middle aged wife croaks, and he decides he’d like to find a pretty docile much younger woman as his second wife, so he uses his film industry connections to hold fake auditions for a non existent film project as a way to literally audition a young pretty woman as a WIFE. Then he gets vivisected by the pretty girl he picks. This girl was smart. Men intend to cause her harm, so she harms them right back, but in a terrible, terrifying way.

La Llorona by contrast is such a dumb monster - so powerless from start to end. She is a nurse who gets unfairly targeted as the source of the problem by (presumed and implied) male doctors, and the male power structure of police and whatever let her get killed in mob violence. She doesn’t say whether her killers, who also murdered her children, were men or women, but they were definitely not children. So when she gains this powerful immortality, she doesn’t go after male doctors, the sexist medical establishment that undervalues nurses, law enforcement that doesn’t protect individual women. Nope. She murders other people’s children. I hate this myth.

Men do this a lot in storytelling. They create a woman who is justifiably enraged at the patriarchal power structure but absolutely wince away from a story about that woman getting revenge back on the men who hurt her. I WONDER WHY.

*I am not talking about whatever the original myth of La Llorona is in whichever culture she is coming from. I’m talking about the La Llorona in this episode.

This trope sucks because the men who actually caused the murder of La Llorona are nameless and therefore unblameable.

Trope 2: Darla Dickinson, A Mother Of Sons With No Other Identity

Darla was like this in canon too. She only existed as an appendage to her sons, who often looked older than her, and vice versa. This trope also needs to feature a blameless man, and this case is the dead Danny. He’s blameless because he’s dead.

The episode did not explain what the rules for La Llorona are and why she has zero agency or how the magic with Darla is supposed to work. I will say, a Southern accented white woman summoning a thing called La Llorona (coded not white given how everyone pronounces that moniker) to helplessly do her bidding and also results in the death of a woman of color was a really tone deaf choice. It was also compounded by the fact that Sandra (Danny’s girlfriend) also dies, and her mother was blamed, and given Lucinda’s coded ethnicity, Sandra wasn’t white either. Her death happens off screen, and the pain Lucinda suffers is also not dealt with at all.

But by the way - the bit about the Serpents and the Ghoulies being in existence at the same time, in a Cain & Abel way, and they are moreover forbidden from dating each other, was an interesting touch. Making Darla a Ghoulie was highly forced though, because don’t the Ghoulies seem like the type to execute members if they age past a certain number??

Trope 3: The Naggy Girlfriend Who Destroys Your Dreams and Is Kinky In The Wrong Way

I really like how Veronica and Reggie look & are together, so this episode made me sad because apparently they are sexually incompatible. He thought (like I did) that it was kind of gross to fuck on money (“Dirty 100 dollar bills!”) and Veronica dislikes being sexual in cars because she’s grown out of that (so have I). I understand both of them about these things, but it was sad for me to see how Veronica is shrewish, insecure, violently destructive, and put entirely in the wrong because Reggie here is blameless - His Daddy died while his girlfriend was destroying a prized possession.

The thing is! Veronica is a lover of fine things and someone who tries to talk her way out of problems, so her destroying the car read as both out of character and abusive to me. The other thing is, she isn’t wrong. He is relating sexually to his car, to his childhood crush memories, and flaking out on promises he’s made to her and lying to her all the time. Your dad dying does not lead to a blank check on being shitty in your relationship. If anyone can understand a highly problematic father it’s Veronica, but Reggie doesn’t respect her power quite enough to actually lean on her as a resource.

I did very much enjoy the continuing incest-adjacent weirdess of Rivervale, taken straight from Riverdale. Hermosa and Veronica discuss their joint ex-and-current boyfriend and how to keep him docile and happy.

Trope 4: The Domestic Woman Who Tries To Kill Your Manly Creativity And Gets Mad That Your Magical Artistic Process Is Incomprehensible To Her Bovine World View

I’ve already said that the Narrator Jughead of this AU is pro Bughead, but oh to stoop to a misogynist trope like this! This is a hateful trope that vainglorious straight men have been harping on about for centuries: the supportive provider girlfriend who dares to want actual recognition, respect and some help around the house. She won’t bow down quietly to your artistic genius (ahem) and hence is trying to ‘kill’ your ‘process.'

Tabitha is all the things she actually isn’t in Canon Riverdale. She’s passive aggressive - when Jughead hasn’t done the thing she wanted, she neither makes him do it then and there nor lets it go. She just throws a hammer through the wall. I refuse to believe that the smart and competent Tabitha has no idea how to hammer a goddamn nail into a wall. Tabitha in this AU is also deeply insecure, and even after experiencing Betty betraying Jughead by making the very upset voicemail public property, gets upset and jealous. Furthermore, she seems unable to distinguished between the child writer Jughead showing his childhood girlfriend ‘vomit’ drafts and the published author Jughead, who had an unsatisfying experience at college, a toxic relationship thereafter and going through a vicious bout of writer’s block, needing something different.

All this is waved away by Ghost Possession and quickly wrapped up with an exchange of I Love Yous that also kind of freaked me out. Being irritable, accusing, then moving on to destroying prized objects of sentimental value eventually escalating into threat of / actual physical violence is textbook domestic violence acculturation by perpetrator to victim, as is the suddenly ‘melting’ and providing ‘sweetness’ in the immediate aftermath of a violent outburst. The fact that the person holding the literal hammer here is a very slender woman doesn’t make that much of a difference in how terrifying this is to me.

The rigid adherence to the Chekhov Gun Rule continues! Tabitha is annoyed in her dream by the clickety clack of Jughead’s typewriter (which in waking hours she probably wants to hear because she wants him to get writing) so at the end the awake Tabitha in a fit of pique destroys the actual typewriter. Same token - there’s a device to introduce the hammer (“Please hang up the paintings”), and she then tries to use it to kill Jughead during the climax.

Trope 5: The Most Lovable Woman Is a Completely Silent Woman Who Smiles And Always Goes Wherever You Want To Go

Reggie and his Miss Soprano, who is setup in direct contrast with self-acknowledged Alpha Veronica. Do I even need to say anything?

Trope 6: The Baby Hungry Woman

Betty, who ‘failed’ to rescue Polly in canon and participated in the murder-and cover up! - of Archie’s death in Chapter 1 of this fic, wants to name her potential baby either Archie or Polly, and Kevin is hilariously there to say “Of Course” to naming this poor infant Archie. She does not mourn Archie in this AU, and she’s only peeved that using black magic and offering his body as live sacrifice resulted in a pregnancy that did not take.

Trope 7: Motherhood is about SACRIFICE

“Is there a better word for motherhood than sacrifice?” This is what Jughead narrator says, at the end of this chapter of Rivervale the AU. He’s smirking smugly even though he’s just been at the shore watching Toni, an ex-girlfriend, fellow Serpent and The Only One With A Braincell (™) get killed/possessed by a demon and wade suicidally into a river. Motherhood could be about the glorification of womanhood, about the demonstration of a woman’s sexual power (fertility!). The only reason that it’s all about sacrifice is because men don’t do their part in parenting (Don’t fucking not all men me and just research some very basic stats on who does what at home ok?). It’s also intensely ironic that Jughead is the one who says this because his mother consistently dropped everything and ran for the hills when the going got tough. Is that bitterness, then, behind his smile?

In Sum: Each of the MEN in this is being shit and yet is shown bewildered and blameless at the point when the woman he’s with can’t take it anymore and acts out. And the final thesis seems to be that 1) motherhood is supposed to suck and 2) the enemy of woman is woman as some sort of point (Darla/ La Llorona vs all the other women).
