Thinkin' about Wrecker...
and how like,, fucking tired that man probably is,, both physically and mentally,, man cannot catch a break oh my god,,
like,, fucking he's not able to pull up Tech from the cable car, then Omega gets taken away, then he's got to deal with a reckless Hunter because Echo's gone again, and then Omega and Crosshair come back, but then he's got to let Hunter and Crosshair work out that tension they have between each other, and then he's still gotta make sure the team stays together, and then him and Hunter have to go on a dangerous side quest where Fennec (my wife whom I love) keeps pushing Wrecker's buttons, and Hunter keeps being reckless and I-
it is absolutely amazing how that man hasn't snapped. Is it bad that I want to see it happen? I want to see him so utterly broken and have like a breakdown because he's just dealing with WAY too fucking much.
Sigh.

When I say I really want a Jason adopts tim fic, I don't mean I want him to become a parent at 19 to a teen like 2-4 years younger than him, I want Jason to meet Tim and decide that he wants Tim on his side.
I want Jason to adopt Tim as his Robin, like he decides that he wants to recruit this 15 year old that is some how the smartest and snarkiest person in Gotham. I don't want infantilised tim, I want a sorta Nani and Lilo sibling dynamic, but with a smaller age gap.
Like sure, Jason sees his little brother as some sort of soggy kitten that he must protect, but also a Tim that is very capable of looking after himself.
I want Tim to look at Jason, see Bruce back when he first donned the Cape and traffic light colours. And then in true Tim fashion decide to fix him, B was being too over protective since Red Hood showed up anyways.
Like imagine, Jason meeting Tim instead by accident when he drops in on a drug trade. Tim says some quip that throws him off his game while fighting. Jason basically losing to a very deadly fifteen year old who's not slept in 29 hours, and he thinks 'f it, I like the kid'. Then trying to recruit him consistently until Tim goes 'why tf not'.
I want enemies to caretaker, but they both think they're the caretaker

can we talk about how the weirdest part of staticmoth isn't even the fact that they're toxic to each other?
it's how they both react to each other's toxicity with nonchalance.
like. first, during val's tantrum, val throws a glass at vox, or well, in his vicinity.
then vox just... steps away like it's nobody's business, barely bothered by it.
and later, when it's vox's turn to be angry, he roughly pulls val down, shakes him, and shouts at his face.
then val just... shrugs it off.
usually when you think of a toxic relationship, you'd probably think of person A being toxic to person B then person B biting back just as toxic until it's a back and forth of toxicity, a full-blown fight.
but that. that's not staticmoth. staticmoth is fucking weird in that when one is acting toxic towards the other, the other acts nonchalant and doesn't retaliate. then they switch roles on who the toxic one is and who the nonchalant one is.
I am not at all denying the toxicity in their relationship, but they certainly are a really fucking weird brand of toxic that is just. so hard to describe.

if we were gonna get a Deku vs Kacchan pt. 3 with an actual fight to help them solve their issues and understand each other, imagine how funny it’d be from aizawa’s perspective? he’s like “phew yes it’s been a difficult year but at least the two problem children finally get along, i’m so glad they’ve worked everything ouWDYM THEYRE FIGHTING AGAIN.”
