OPLA characters reacting to a sweet, girly reader who turns out to be a a ruthless fighter
genre: headcanons, fem! reader, kinda suggestive??, idfk just read it bro
requested: nope, but reqs are open! pls, for the love of god, request for the opla♡
feat: zoro, sanji
a/n: reader's feminine but not female if that makes sense, only witting again because I'm obsessed with the one piece live action. also, this may be a little ooc, since I haven't watched the anime/read the manga, sorry about that! also, if you wanna be added to my perm taglist, pls feel free to ask!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
☆ZORO☆
when you first joined the crew, zoro was immediately unsure of what exactly you brought to the table. I mean, they already had a swordsman, a sharp shooter, a navigator, a dumb cook and a captain/motivational speaker. so what were you doing here?
from luffy's explanation of you, he was aware that you were a good fighter, but he had never seen you in action.
the only things he had seen from you were stuffed animals laying around the ship, pastel outfits he could spot for miles, and bows that had been put in his hair while he slept.
he was tolerant of you at best, and straight up apathetic at worst, but finally, there came a time where someone tried picking a fight with you since you seemed like an easy target while you were walking with him and nami.
although he wasn't particularly fond of you (lies), he still felt the need to defend you as a crewmate, but the ass whooping you gave the stranger made him freeze in place.
there was blood splatter on your pretty face, deep red sploches of your cute clothes, and a look of pure hatred in your eyes. and you had never looked more beautiful in zoros eyes.
that was the first time zoro had ever smiled at you. sure, he had slightly smirked at your cuter tendencies, but in that moment he was truly smitten with you.
from that day, zoro wanted to train with you. what you lacked that he had in experience, you made up for in absolute cruelty when fighting. you were quick, agile and you weren't afraid to make zoro hurt, and he loved every second of it.
zoro would sometimes smile when he saw bruising on his body from his time training with you but catch himself and go stone faced immediately. no, he was not falling for you, absolutely not.
except he was, and the next time you showed up by his side with a slight limp, some tears in your cotton candy coloured clothes, blood all over you, and a sadistic smile on your face, he would tell you as much.
SANJI♡
sanji is unsurprisingly, enamoured by you the second you join the straw hats.
I'm talking, looking at you like you hung the stars in the sky, cheesy and constant compliments like "you're cuter than any of your stuffed animals, yn-swan~" and even brushing up on his baking skills to bake you aesthetically pleasing sweet treats that always put a smile on your face.
if I'm being completely honest, it doesn't bother him that he doesn't know exactly what your strengths are, you could be amazing at everything like barbie or you could literally not know night from day and he'd still admire you all the same.
one day, you're wearing bottoms that are on the shorter side not that sanji minds at all and you're out exploring the island you're at with him by your side, holding all your bags because in his words "angels don't do hard labour when he's around" when someone decides to hit on you.
you reject them politely, but when they make a less than appropriate comment about your outfit, you click your tongue and shake your head, readying yourself to hospitalise someone.
sanji's mood switches to one of being happy because he's around you to one of murderous intent the second this rando tries you, but you already have them wheezing on the floor with broken nose before sanji can even lift his leg off of the ground.
you're back to usual self, fixing the bow on your hair while complaining about how fucking hard it is to get blood stains off of your clothes, while sanji is thinking about how fucking hard he is
safe to say that this heartless, terrifying side of you makes sanji fall even harder and question whether or not he's a masochist.
he'll still insist on doing things like carrying you anywhere (most of your shoes you impractical as fuck, but style>functionality always) lifting things for you and treating you like a piece of fine china because that's exactly what you deserve, no matter how badass you are.
only difference is, now he'll never come to aid when it comes to kicking ass, because he enjoys seeing you take people to heaven and back more than anything.
he compliments now range from "omg you are the most adorable, lovable, doll-like angel I've ever seen" to "please punch me, step on me, make my nose bleed, choke me-" and he's now ten times more annoying about you than he was before, which no one thought was possible.
believe me when I say that images of you in frilly outfits with your eyes gleaming like diamonds eveytime you make someone bleed occupy 90% of his thoughts. (the other 10% is all things cooking, of course.)

I'm responding to a post regarding Marcille having conservative views about gender role, linked HERE (which I also responded to in the replies, but it's an interesting enough topic I want to make my own post). I think that post's point about not sanding off characters' flaws is good, but I do think the reasoning for Marcille is missing something.
I honestly don't think Marcille wants men to be masculine and in strict masculine roles. Look how femme (and long haired) the guys in the Daltian clan are and she WORSHIPS them. If you interpret the person she sees in the succubus bit as male, they are extremely femme.
She just wants human men to look like male (and female) elves, which means androgynous. Kui said the clothes elf men and women wear don't look super different, they all wear simple, pretty outfits and all look pretty. I do think female elves are expected to be slightly more femme and male ones can be a bit more masc (see Otta being mistaken for a man) but there's still an androgyny to everyone and appearance wise, both men and women have long hair and wear clothing other races would see as feminine.
(Elf men and women also aren't very different physically, as seem here in the canary genderbend where they switch sexes and literally look exactly the same. Boobs are given or removed and that's it)
Remembering elf beauty standards makes a lot of Marcille's opinions make sense.
Remember that she was super shocked Laios didn't look similar enough to Falin and exaggerated his masculine qualities to a unflattering, buffoonish degree in her mind, implying she finds them unattractive? She thinks Falin should wear feminine things and have longer hair because elves do. Laios having long hair is weird to her because he's not androgynous like she thinks he should be... so she just thinks it clashes and does nothing for him. I don't think she would care if Laios wore a skirt or something.
We don't really see her ever exhibiting any regressiveness about gender roles outside of people's appearances, and you'd think she would if it were about that right? She never says anything about gender roles in the story. She never says Falin shouldn't like bugs or be how she is because she's a girl, or that Izutsumi should act more feminine. Significantly, she also tells the guys in her group that the should pay as much attention to their hair and appearance as she does, rather than going "of course men don't understand hygiene and hair!" Or even bringing up gender at all.
Marcille does definitely have some regressive opinions and prejudices though, as seen with the orcs. She's a mess, and not seeing Falin's discomfort with femininity and imposing her own values is a serious flaw.
And she and Falin definitely have very different interests, with Marcille valuing all thing femme and Falin not at all being interested, and Marcille is repeatedly disappointed she can't share stuff with Falin (see her in the makeup comic) ...but Marcille loves her anyway, I agree completely on that.
She's a complex, flawed character, but I think my interpretation is not only valid, but makes a lot of sense with what's been shown in the manga.

This pac is about your destined love not your future spouse, this person can be your first love or someone you won't be able to forget about.
TW talking about manipulation and mental abuse in pile 5
1~2~3
4~5~6
How to choose a pile?
Take a deep breath and close your eyes. Kindly ask your spirit guides to show you the right pile for yourself and then open your eyes. Whichever pile catches your attention is the right pile for you. It's alright if your attracted to two or more piles, there might be some extra messages for you in those piles.

Pile 1
Hello pile 1 and welcome to your reading. The first message I'm getting is that your destined partner is someone you manifested , you always wanted someone like them or they are your ideal type. This connection feels like a true soulmate connection. I'm also getting that some of you may be manifesting a partner right now. This person might be a air sign, Aquarius to be exact. They might have Uranus in the first house. I'm also getting that this person may have a harder exterior. They have a hard time choosing sides because I see that they don't want to hurt people. I'm also seeing that this relationship might have some difficulties in the initial stages.
You guys might not be able to understand each other and this may results in some arguments even. I'm also seeing that there can be some misunderstandings too. At first you might not like this person because of something you've heard about them from others. And this may result in you not liking them and they not knowing why you despise them.
However when you'll get to know this person or when you start talking to them because of a work or something like that you'll start to understand them. I'm also seeing that this person can have darker skin or tanned skin. They may like exercising and keeping their body in shape. Another message I'm getting is that this person is not someone who plays with love. When they love someone , they love them with all their heart. They are not someone who cheats.
You guys will be able to understand each other's pain and heal each other but I don't see you guys getting married and settling down. Though this is a healthy relationship I see that you won't settle down with this person.
.・。.・゜✭・.・。.・゜✭・.・。.・゜✭・
Pile 2
Hmm I see that you guys really like to fantasize about love and being with your lover. But don't worry this person is going to fulfill more than half of your wishes. This person is going to do everything in their power to be the person you have always wanted however they are not someone who losses themselves in love. This maintain balance between when to act like a hopeless romantic and when to act like a boss. I'm also getting that this person might be leo or they can have their prominent placements in leo degrees. Your destined love is someone who'll give off motherly vibes to you. If you have longed for parental love and affection this person is going that. This person may be older than you or more mature than you.
They can have R, E, N, M or S in their names and they might like to wear rings or gloves. This person can be a dancer or they'll teach you how to dance. When you will meet them you'll feel as if you have seen them before even if you've never been to their place.
For some of you, there are chances of you two getting married and you might meet them when you will be travelling or learning a new skill. The first thing you'll notice about them will be their hands. One of you might be wearing red or yellowish/goldish clothes. You might meet them 7-9 months from when you'll read this.
They might have more feminine energy and they will be very caring and nurturing towards you. They can be a venus dominant too. I'm also getting that they might be a healer or might be a doctor. You might meet them near a water body. If you're a female attracted to females they can have longer hair than you and might have colored hair. If you're a female attracted to male , they cab have tattoos or ear piercings.
.・。.・゜✭・.・。.・゜✭・.・。.・゜✭・
Pile 3
Hello pile 3 and welcome to your reading. For some of you I'm getting that you already know your destined love and some of you may already be friends with them. This is someone from your childhood or someone you know from a very long time. I'm also getting that this person is extremely attractive and might have a lot of suitors which might make you insecure about your relationship with them. I'm also getting that some of you may see them as "just a friend at this moment" Of you're trying to ignore your feelings for them. This person is in his masculine energy most of the time and might hate or dislike girly things.
Another message I'm getting is that this person might be have two jobs right now or they will be working while studying when you meet them. This person might be an Aries or Sagittarius. For some they can have balance of fire and water in their chart. You can also meet them at work or at an educational Institute.
This person may be a year or 6 months older than you. I'm seeing a huge age gap here though they seem really mature. This person might have the tendency to complain when things don't go their way but they'll work on it. They might be born on the 6th , 15th or 24th.
They might act like they know it all and that you should learn something from them. I'm also seeing that this person will make you extremely happy with their jokes. They may have the same sense of humor as you. They really respect older people and have good relationship with their parents. I'm also seeing that they may have traveled to a lot countries and may be travelling to study. This might sound weird but they may remind you of a lizard or they may be lizard handsome.
.・。.・゜✭・.・。.・゜✭・.・。.・゜✭・
Pile 4
Hello pile 4 , I just feel like some of you may be attracted to pile 2 , so make sure to check that one out too! The first message I'm picking up on is that this person may like to call you out on your shit. Like yeah they love you and all but they won't tolerate you doing things that are not good for you. I'm also seeing that this person may be very authoritative. They may have light or blond hair for some or they may dye their hair a lot. This person may get tired a lot and they don't tolerate bs. Like they have zero tolerance for people and their shit. However this person knows how to get people to do their job and on a negative note they might daydream a lot.
I'm also getting that this person likes to help others and they are really humble. They have achieved a lot in their life but they are still very humble. I'm also getting that their love language is act of service and gift giving. They have a lot of options too but they want something stable that's why they are still waiting for the right person.
They are a perfectionist and they are ready to work on themselves to become a better person. If they see that one of their habits is holding them back from achieving their dreams they'll eliminate that habit. They also practice a lot. They might be an artist or they are leaning something that requires a lot of their time.
I'm also seeing that they might have hazel or blue eyes and their hair might be wavy or curly. They might like to wear caps or they might have a collection of caps that they are really proud of. Your conversation might have started from borrowing something, either them borrowing something from you or vice versa. A yellow/white room and group project is really significant here. They might be born on 3rd , 18th or 12th . March and August being the important months here. They might wear oversized black colored clothes a lot.
.・。.・゜✭・.・。.・゜✭・.・。.・゜✭・
Pile 5
Alright pile 5 the first message I'm getting is that this person is not what they show to others. They may show as if they have a perfect life and a perfect family but it is the opposite. They might have a emotionally manipulative or emotionally abusing family. However they have never let their family change them. They have been through a lot but they are stir very cheerful and optimistic about life. They like to act like a parental figure to their friends and the people they love because they don't want people to feel how they have felt in the past. They try to be the protector. And they are going to protect you and nurture you. In fact you both are going to protect each other.
They are very disciplined and determined. They value life and want to be the person you'll look up to. Your destined love will teach you how to stand up for yourself and for your people. They'll teach you how to win at life. I'm seeing that some of you are not competitive and this makes you a little lazy about wining because you don't see wining as something you should waste your energy on. Or you don't consider yourself as someone who deserves it which is absolutely wrong because your deserve the best in this world.
They might be born on the 1st , 9th and 10th of month. June, October and April coming as the important months here. They may like White color or white will be significant when you meet them.
I am seeing a lot of happiness and abundance in this relationship and this relationship may lead to marriage for some of you. They might have beautiful nails. I'm also seeing that you guys will have a lot of adventure together. They'll help you get over your fears and anxieties. They like to exercise and keep their body in shape. Guess we can call them fitness freak.
.・。.・゜✭・.・。.・゜✭・.・。.・゜✭・
Pile 6
Hello my pile 6 and welcome to your reading. you are still confused about love. One moment your heart overflows with the hope of finding love and the other moment your heart is like a desert. You yourself are very Indecisive about love and relationships. You want people to love you but always have your guard up and get defensive the moment someone gives you attention.
Your destined love will be the some as you, skeptic about love and this relationship is meant to teach both of you how to love and how to express your feelings.
I'm getting that this is not someone you already know. You might meet them soon or you know them but not fully. This person might have recently shifted or changed places. I'm getting that this person belongs to a rich family but in their family people don't express love. I see that their relationship with their family is more like a work contract. They might be a Taurus, Cancer or Aquarius. I'm also seeing that they have a lot of hobbies or they like to learn new things. They always keep themselves busy with work and this is the main reason why they are still single.
They might be born on the 2nd , 27th or 4th of any month. July, November and January are the significant months here. I'm also seeing that they have really pretty and veiny hands.
I'm also seeing that their person might be very popular like everybody knows them and I'm also seeing that there will be someone strange about them. Not in a negative way but their energy will make you pay attention to them iykwim. They might have sweaty hands all the time. Another thing you'll notice is that they are always holding something in their hands. Be it a random rock they picked up or a book.
.・。.・゜✭・.・。.・゜✭・.・。.・゜✭・
Any interaction is appreciated! Have a nice time!

HIIII, before I leave my request, I just wanna say I'm so glad you're back, and I absolutely love your writing. Like no joke, you're one of my all-time favorite author!!
Now, for my request, I understand if this night is a bit weird buttt I know everyone as seen COD boys and a hyperfem reader but what if the reader was a female but more masculine, a tomboy if you will. Like they share the boxers and clothes (despite the size difference) with COD boys, and the reader could even be a switch!! I understand if you want to tweak the story a bit, I'm fine with it!! Thank you!!
This may be boring but honestly that's the duality of Hackergirl😭 Like, yeah I obviously mosty describe her as very feminine but she definitely has a tomboy side to her! I mean, she's in the military (through Laswell but still) so she's bound to have tough skin and while maybe not John Wick she knows how to beat a bitch black and blue <3
She definitely doesn't always wear dressed and pretty clothes and it's basically a given that she shares clothes with her men (she's the one who wears their clothes but they don't mind at all, if it means their scent will get on you then they will give them up more than willing).
And while I usually make reader the submissive one, she definitely has a more dominant, switchy side to her. Our girl knows how to take her pleasure and she enforces it with an iron fist, be it riding Johnny until he's an overstimulated, babbling mess, teasing Price and purposefully blueballing him just be she's a little shit or just going to town on poor Gaz and leaving him pleading her toslow down at least bc boy came like 3 times and he can't anymore and Hackergirl is like :/ yes you can and you will </3

I (21 AFAB) honestly feel like my femininity is more like transfemininity than cisfemininity. I'm autistic and intersex(ish? I've got hypoestrogenism) and spent a lot of my life (10 to 20) identifying as transmasculine. I've had top surgery and I was on testosterone around 3 years. I was cis male passing at 14 and 15, and again at 19 through...uhh... now sorta. I still pass as a young man (although people might think I'm a trans boymoder) if I speak in "guy" voice. I'm seen as female enough to not have any issues in women's restrooms since I started using them, but I stay quiet and use the men's room if I look too masc. I identify I guess as a girl, but not as a cisgender one, and not in the way that a binary woman would call herself one. I also identify as androgynous (or an androgyne). I'm submitting this ask sort of hoping that it makes sense how I feel connected to transfemininity and not cisfemininity. I'm also wondering if anyone else feels the same?
heya! that's actually almost exactly my experience, and many other peoples'. i've been wanting to explain this for a really long time so i hope this will make sense
often times when someone afab or transmasculine transitions and either pauses or stays on a lowish dose of T, our genders get garbled in the eyes of strangers. i don't know how to say it any other way than: often times when trans people who have taken testosterone for long enough have gotten deep voices, 'masc' faces, facial hair, etc. are dressed in a feminine way they will get read as a transfeminine person. like this is an extremely common phenomenon
we instantly become fags and "those type of girls". like it really doesn't take much for queerphobes to perk up. a little 'gay/tranny voice'. a little too limp wristed. when they see strong jaws, Adam's apples, strong cheekbones, and long hair they assume MtF. if the trans person is packing or had phallo things can escalate further, especially if they have breasts.
it's poetic and a bit silly but sometimes people's experiences are so deviated from the standard definition of "man" "male" "female" "woman" that they have to, in a way, transition into that identity for the first time. a lot of intersex people, poc, gender non conforming, people, gay folks, non binary people, lesbians and butches have gotten heavily misgendered as children. sometimes you just were not allowed to be that gender you were assigned at first and it's okay if you feel you're transitioning into that, especially given where you're coming from and where you're headed
i identify as transfemme for many reasons, but this is one of them. i was NOT allowed to be a girl as a child. i was deemed too masc. my nose was too big. my hooded eyes were too masc. i didn't wear flowery or feminine clothing. i acted like a boy. i had a very shitty haircut because my hair was causing me dysphoria. my mom kept calling me butch and a bulldyke. nobody saw me as a girl. i never was one until i transitioned into womanhood as an adult. there i found out i love being a butch woman- but i've had to fight for it.
i also use androgynous and androgyne :)
it's okay if you feel like youre headed on that path. i have met so many people who fall under this umbrella of experiences. many people use transfemasc or transmascfem, some people just call themselves whatever. folks who feel the same feel free to share input. thanks for stopping by, let us know if you need anything else

Edit: Can't believe the irony of me having to say this, but I do apparently have to say this: Not wanting boobs and not wanting to be seen as feminine does not mean you are, or want to be seen as masculine. I'm not transmasculine just because I don't want boobs and don't want to be seen as feminine.
You cannot read a post where the point is having boobs does not equal being feminine and go oh! right. Because not wanting boobs equals being masculine! No!! I'm not transmasculine! I'm not trying to look masculine! Kill the gender binary that has a stranglehold on your views of gender!
Stop shoving nonbinary people into a new set of binary boxes!
___
the idea that having boobs gets you automatically and inherently classified as being "female presenting" and "feminine presenting" in so-called progressive circles makes me want to maul people.
I've said this before and I'll just keep repeating it forever: I'm disabled. I can't wear a binder. If I tried I'd dislocate several ribs and that'd be the least of my worries. Like. you know why ribs not being where they're supposed to be is dangerous? Yeah. Yeah. Use your imagination. That's a real thing I have to worry about.
I can't even wear a sports bra that's several sizes """too large""" comfortably.
And yeah, I can use trans tape, but that takes concerted time and effort to put on and take off, and every time you put it on you get different results, and you might just mess it up entirely and waste it, and it can get itchy if you're sweating with it on (and it's 90 degrees almost all the time it's not actively winter here, so that's...literally unavoidable. Even sitting in the living room. Because the electric company charges an arm and a leg for AC during the summer AND won't even give you enough to actually cool your shitty tiny apartment even with all the doors shut and curtains drawn!!!!!), and it's expensive to buy more of.
And especially because this declaration of "feminine presenting" or "female presenting" that gets shoved onto you is not only misgendering you, but placing the blame on you for being misgendered for not looking not-female enough. It's no longer the speaker making incorrect assumptions, they're now literally declaring that this is a concious decision you make. You are choosing to "present" yourself this way...by having a body that you have no control over.
And even when it comes to clothes, the idea that the clothes you wear is another purposeful, conscious Presentation™ of your gender...
Even if we ignore for a moment the fact that being disabled and poor severely limits the clothes you can wear and even just have access to, what about people who literally don't get to choose what their clothes are? Kids whose parents buy their clothes for them, people whose carers choose their outfits for them?
My gender is not "sun-bleached tank top and shorts with a reflective sun hat". That's just what I wear so I don't die of heat stroke every time I set foot outside, and so that my joints are not being painfully constricted every time I move. I literally can't take my hat off outside during the day without developing a headache (or are they fucking migraines? fuck if I know!) within minutes from the sun trying to murder me from my light sensitivity. And it took me years to even realize that it was light sensitivity causing this. I remember in middle school the substitute gym teacher asked if I was a vampire because I moved to the closest shady spot every time we moved to a new area.
And like. Let's be honest. Even if I could safely wear a binder...They're fucking expensive.
It's just really fucking annoying that so many people equate binding with being trans and so many people who are supposed to be allies are just so comfortable labeling other people, who they haven't asked, as "feminine presenting" just because of the presence of boobs. Like we have any choice in the matter. Like having visible boobs just means you're asking to be misgendered.

didn't want to come across as passive aggressive putting this in the reblogs so here's a separate post about my thinky thoughts on she/her tsubaki. mainly because i do what i want forever but if canon happens to make a convincing argument for it thats nice too since i am incapable of shutting the hell up
1. KIRYU EXISTS
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
people love tsubaki's whole thing of accepting herself for who she is regardless of what others think. this is something i've seen repeated a lot in comments re: the official translation's he/him pronouns, and when fighting through the generally hypermasculine trenches of shounen anime/manga it's understandable want more male characters who stay true to themselves by rejecting social norms and openly embracing their femininity...however i fear we are forgetting our history 😔 the femboy diversity hire has been here all along yall our quota is full !! really tho kiryu was MADE for the girls and the gays even without getting into his personality just look at him. the pink hair. the piercings. the accessories. the off the shoulder drip. like come on COME ONNNN give him his genderqueer props
2. THE RAWS
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
i don't know japanese so i can't actually get too deep into how she speaks and is referred to BUT what little i can say is this. she used to use the personal pronoun ボク (boku) [katakana] as a child, and this is a common way for young boys to address themselves, but at some point she switches to ワタシ / あたし / 私 (atashi) [katakana/hiragana/kanji] in order to present and be percieved as female/feminine. this is a form of gender expression unavailable in english due to our limited number of first person pronouns and it's extremely important to her character due to how deliberate and intentional of a decision it is (though for the sake of interpretive fairness i feel like i have to say i'm not culturally knowledgeable enough to discern if it's used in a 女性語 vs オネえ言葉 context or how/if her speech patterns fit into those categories). shizuka also specifically thinks of her as an older sister 姉 (ane) [kanji]
3. DEPTH OF INTERNAL CONFLICT
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
tsubaki's childhood feelings of alienation, displacement, and deception are way too extreme to come from someone who only wears women's clothes because he likes the fashion (imo). this doesn't read as a young boy who's into girly hobbies and is scared people will make fun of him for it; this reads as a young trans girl who is tormented by the act of constantly lying about who she is, but who knows that living truthfully will get her utterly rejected by the majority of the people she knows. she just doesn't have the language to explain herself beyond liking pretty things and not being like "other" boys. tumblr won't let me add another photo but the shot of her looking at her reflection in the window and calling herself a liar at the beginning of the chapter...there is something so incredibly and incommunicably transgender about those few panels
IN CONCLUSION: i don't necessarily hate the official he/him decision because it will be very very cool if nii satoru actually is playing 4d gender chess with tsubaki like that but i simply do not know or trust the editorial team enough to take their word on her english pronouns (<- is hypervigilant about microaggressions against trans women)

Washing Machine Heart
A/N: This is set after my previous Morpherine fic "Can I Lay by Your Side?" but you should be able to read this as a stand alone. Tried something different here by doing Logan's POV instead which was a challenge but I hope you guys liked it! Thank you so much for everyone's likes, reblogs and comments on my last two Morpherine fics! I am so happy I am not the only one craving for more about these two! I don't know if I will have time to upload another Morpherine fic for a while because I am busy with IRL stuff and this other big fic I've got going on rn. But if the inspiration hits again then I will ride it! Xxxxxxx

Logan hated galas. He hated stuffy rooms full of rich arseholes and stupid social conventions and food that wasn't actually designed to make you full. But since the event was a fundraiser to help support mutant kids, he didn't have a choice in not going to this one.
Logan had tried to argue that his costume counted as a suit, but Jean had threatened to force him change if he didn't do it himself.
So reluctantly he had on an old scratchy black and white suit. He was currently waiting in the hall with the other guys whilst the girls and Morph finished getting ready and if Scott didn't stop telling him how to tie his tie, then he was going to strangle him with it.
"How do I look?"
Focused on trying to not kill Cyclops, Logan hadn't noticed that the other's had arrived until he heard Morph's voice from behind him.
Logan turned around only to find the breath punched out of him.
Ever since Morph had come out a few months ago, (some that Logan had been completely accepting of it because he had been around for over a hundred years and Morph was far from the person he'd met who was like that) they'd said that they wanted to experiment more with their clothing.
However, whilst Logan had seen Morph in a suit, outside when they'd shift into a female mutants costume, he hadn't seen them wearing much feminine clothing yet
Until today.
Leaning against the end of the banister, Morph was wearing a long red dress, pretty similar to the one in that film they'd watched with how it hugged their body before flaring out at the bottom. Their chest was still relativity flat in their usual form, but the low cut of the dress, enhanced what was there. Logan felt that animalistic nature inside of him growl with want.
Which was new.
Logan recognised the feeling of wanting to hang out with Morph, to protect them, to hear them laugh. But that was a different kind of want... right?
Distracted by their thoughts, Logan hadn't realised that he had never actually replied until he heard Morph let out a nervous laugh.
"Don't tell me, my clutch doesn't match?" Morph said, gesturing to the small white bag in their other hand that Logan honestly hadn't even noticed.
"It's fine." Logan replied, not that he was any authority on fashion. "You look good."
"I know." Morph smiled, striking an over the top pose, but with his enhanced senses, Logan could pick out the blush under their friend's grey skin.
"However, I wish I could say the same for you." Morph teased, pointing at the tangled mess of Logan's tie.
Before Logan could grumble a protest, Morph tucked their bag under their arm and leant forward to fix it themselves.
Logan found himself frozen as impossibly smooth hands, brushed against his neck as Morph fixed his tie. Logan was not one for physical touch, he couldn't remember the last time another person had touched somewhere as vulnerable as his neck, one of the few places on his body that if too badly damaged would be an injury he couldn't walk away from. But he found himself completely trusting under Morph's gentle hands.
This close, Logan could feel the overwhelming smell of whatever perfume Morph had doused themselves in. Logan was sure that it objectively smelled nice. But it his over sensitive nose, it just smelt of chemicals. He preferred Morph's normal smell because it mean that he knew that his friend was still alive.
He could also hear the slightly quickened pace of Morph's pulse, that appeared to beat faster with every moment.
"There," Morph smiled as they finally smoothed out his collar over the newly fixed tie. "Now you shouldn't get us kicked out for looking like a savage again."
Morph took a step back, probably to admire their handiwork, but before Logan even realised what he was doing, he had reached out to grab their hand to keep them still touching.
Thankfully, Morph didn't seem offended, just confused by the action.
Logan shook his head. He didn’t know why he'd just done that. The chemicals from that perfume must've messed with his head.
He corrected himself, dropping his hands before offering out an arm like he'd seen them do in that movie.
He watched as Morph blinked for a second, as though not entirely believing what they were seeing, before a devious grin spread across their face.
"Oh my dear Wolverine, I thought you'd never ask!" They cried, a hand clutched dramatically over their heart as though this was all some big joke.
"Are ya gonna take it or what?" Logan grumbled, for some reason feeling suddenly annoyed.
Rolling their eyes, Morph placed their bag in one hand and looped the other through Logan's arm.
"I bet I can down more free drinks than you can." They faux whispered into his ear, their breath sending shivers down his spine.
"You're gonna loose that bet bub." Logan retorted, falling back into their usual banter after whatever the fuck had just happened.
After a few last minute toilet trips and loosing an argument with Jubilee about her dress being too short, they all piled into the limo waiting outside.
It was a cramped fit for all of them. The low ceilings, darkened windows and close quarters reminded Logan of when he was trapped in that damn cage.
Hunched in the back corner, the other's hadn't noticed his agitation, too busy arguing over whether Jubilee could try any of the free champagne.
All except for Morph, who stroked their hand down his arm and kept up a continuous chatter for the car ride, tethering him to this reality.
Thankfully it was a quick drive to Town Hall where the gala was being held.
Unfortunately, word must've spread about the fundraiser, because the Town Hall was swarmed by a bunch of anti-mutant protestors.
Even out of costume, their group was pretty recognisable and suddenly most of the abuse was getting hurled at them.
Security was doing a decent job keeping the crown contained behind barriers, but there wasn't much they could do to contain to hurtful jabs thrown their way.
Morph faltered on the steps, their sudden stop nearly tripping Logan over.
"Do I really look okay?" They asked, clutching onto his arm even tighter.
"You're a knock-out." Logan replied in honesty. "And if anyone says otherwise, I'll stab them."
Morph snorted.
"I don't think Summer's will be impressed if you cause another international incident."
"Then I'll shove my claws up his ass too."
Logan couldn't help the swell of satisfaction at the sound of Morph's signature cackle.
As the others headed inside, Logan paused at the top of the stairs.
He had fought mad scientists, sentinals and Sinister. Going to some fancy party filled with rich people should not feel like going into battle. Yet it did.
Morph squeezed his arm and Logan glanced up to see that familiar determined smile gazing down at him and Logan couldn't help the grin that spread across his face.
Because as always the two of them had each other's back. And whatever battle was waiting for them on the other side of those doors, they would face it together.

Yo, I saw your post about trans dudes not gendering hobbies and I want to cosign it real hard
I'm a cis dude (or whatever... wrote that long ask the other day, so you see the whatever). I do stuff like wood carving... at some point I'd like to get into blacksmithing (and a million other things)
Are those masculine hobbies? What a weird thing to even ask, they're just themselves
Carving is carving, everyone should do it
I also want to pick up the skills to make my own clothes some day. Would that be masculine if I call it tailoring or feminine if I call it sewing? It's in fact just a good skill
And I mean Doki Doki is a great game, never played it, just watched it, but what fantastic characters. Liking it isn't gendered, you're right that there's nothing wrong with you
You know, I got into MLP back in like 2011... man... people just can't... eh... no I feel you hard on how it was for you though, cause while I still really love it, I haven't watched it in years, not cause of shame or something but just cause the infinite posts on here about guys who watch it all being creeps kinda sapped my ability to enjoy it
Great show though, still recommend it, just lost my own personal ability to enjoy it other than the occasional fan art
Point is with all of this, none of it effects your gender. Shows aren't gendered, hobbies aren't gendered. Things like make up or what kinda clothes you want to wear aren't gendered
Welding, knitting a baby onesie, blue and pink, dresses or overalls... none of this has gender. Men, women, trans, cis, anyone no matter who they are, how they identify... they all belong equally in all these things... what matters is if it's a good fit for you, there's no such thing as you having to fit the right boxes for it
Easier said than done sometimes to not care what other people thing, especially if it would put you at risk; but from an internal point of view, and from how much you should value others opinions on this... do what you like, and people who don't like it can piss off
But yeah, just saw that post and wanted to weigh in
The stuff I said is true for everyone, but bring it around towards trans men in particular, there's no right way to be a trans man. You're you, you're a trans dude... job done
You get to decide what it looks like for you, but none of this stuff is gendered. You could be the most masculine guy in make up, or you could do the daintiest welding in the most feminine way, but that's just you bringing your own style to it; and just like none of these hobbies are gendered, neither is being a trans guy
Like if you're a masculine trans guy that's great, but if you're real feminine that's great too. That's stuff's just the flavoring for how you're you, none of it's what makes you a guy
I hope you have a nice day
Thank you for your input and I totally agree with everything you said !
It sucks that you can't enjoy MLP like you used to... But yeah, there's a big stigma around "masc looking" people with "fem aligned (to society's standards" hobbies and interests. Like I said in my post, I'm a huge anime fan and I've seen so many cis men get shit for being creeps because they had like their favourite female characters from an anime or manga as their phone wallpaper, or because they had figures and posters, for people it can only be for "gross, NSFW purposes" when it's just people enjoying fictional characters.
And I hate when you say that and people are like "well IF the men in fandoms weren't ALWAYS CREEPS" and it's like: you're talking about the loudest crowd, not the majority. I'm not a big fan of fandoms in general because people tend to be too intense about the media, for me at least. But that's the point of a fandom and there's good and bad in it. It's not a gender thing.
I remember watching a little video about the MLP fandom and finding some things that came out of it like the huge conventions and fanfic and overall creativity so so great !! and then the youtuber introduced the more NSFW, weird part of the fandom and said "I think that the reason why men tend to sexualized fictional characters in shows and any medias is because it's the only way they ever learned to enjoy female characters. As a girl, I can relate to the characters that are girls because they experience similar things to me, but to men, the only relatable and enjoyable thing they can possibly get out of a female character isn't the way she's written, the things she goes through, it's just the sexual gratification she can give."
And I don't have words strong enough to say how APALLED I was by this statement like, do you hear yourself, fr ?!
But anyways, there's still a long road ahead of us for people to just be normal about men liking "unconventional" things. Or to just de-gender things in general, really.

Mass Effect LGBTQ+ representation issues and some headcanons
I've seen a few Mass Effect posts about the sexuality of the trilogy's characters, and I'd like to add my 5 cents, since none of those posts take into account the whole xenophilia aspect of canon relationships. And some of us are here for it. For the aliens. I am here for them. I'm not sorry.
Also, I have to acknowledge the fact that Bioware has made some very questionable choices, and the in-game representation is bad. Like BAD-bad.
I.E.(this list is going to be looong):
All Male Shepard/Kaidan Alenko dialog for ME1 and ME2 was written and fully voiced, but NOT INCLUDED in the final version of the game. And I know that the same thing happened to FemShep/Ashley, but that a bit different because...
The only "gay" romances in ME1 and ME2 are for femShep, and either with a female-representing human-like aliens (who like to dress in tight clothes that emphasize the size of their breasts), or with the equally feminine Kelly Chambers in ME2. Because, you know, guys who buy this game will be more tolerant of two "hot chicks making out" (insert a bunch of mods that make your femShep wear only lingerie and look like a TikTok e-girl) than a more realistic same-sex romance.
Especially when this romance is between two guys. Because ew. Right, Bioware? But you also wanted to sell your games to LGBTQ+ folks, so you installed a…
… so-called "gay button" into your games.
Before ME3, no one except for "hot chicks asari" states their sexuality. You can go through two entire games as a straight character completely surrounded by other completely straight characters. Oh, maybe Kelly likes aliens a little too much, but "who doesn't like asari", right? Even asexual salarians are into them. Sure, a straight woman like femShep…
"Hot chicks making out" really sells those game copies, I guess.
If you think ME3 is better, think again. The only two gay characters in the game are Cortez and Traynor, and they are both supporting characters, who are not even in your squad!
Cortez and his whole "I lost my husband" drama is conveniently placed on the lowest deck of the ship, so if this story offends your bigoted sensibilities, you can just ignore him along with the "dumb jock" Vega who is really unpopular with the players. Is it because he's really friendly with an openly gay character? Oh, who knows?
Meanwhile, Traynor is either mocked (oh, she found EDI voice hot and commented on that! what a shame! awkward lesbians, amirite?) or fetishized (don't get me wrong, Donnelly is funny, but his remarks about Traynor are even more yucky than the way he talks about EDI and lube).
But don't get mad about all this, because all the women in the trilogy are fetishized and heavily sexualized. The best example of this is Samara, whose character design is a war crime.
Bioware made Benezia look horrible (she tried to make Saren change his ways not with her power or wits but with those giant bazooms and the cleavage, I guess), and then they doubled down in ME2 and gave a warrior samurai nun a boob window. A FUCKING BOOB WINDOW. Because boys buy games, and they love boobs, y'know.
Oh, and any inappropriate remarks made by NPCs in the game are directed only at the femShep. Just like the MShenko romance, the male version of the dialog is fully voiced, but conveniently excluded from the game. Because guys can't tell other guys that they look hot in "that soldier getup". That can make bigots uncomfortable.
And let's talk about bi representation, because Bioware apparently hates bisexuals as much as straights and some queers do (trust me, as a bisexual I've experienced both types of hatred, and it's ugly). The only bisexual characters in the game are Kaidan and Diana Allers.
If you're a bigot playing as the maleShep, you can "safely" kill Kaidan on Virmire in the middle of the first game and not have to deal with his uncomfortable love confession at all!
So, yeah, Bigots: 1, Representation: 0. The bisexual is successfully killed, congratulations!
If you play as femShep, you won't even know that Kaidan is/was bi. Because who wants a bisexual guy who is comfortable with his sexuality? You can't sell that kind of romance to the good ladies who buy this game.
Diana Allers romance, meanwhile, is laugh-worthy. If you play as maleShep, you won't even know that she's bi. And if you're femShep, this romance is as insignificant as the one with Kelly, you won't even get an achievement for it! You can also kick her out of your ship without any consequences, so she will be KIA offscreen. You will find about it via fucking email. Bigots: 2, Representation: 0. Both of dirty bisexuals are successfully killed, congratulations!
The bi-xenophile Kelly suffers the same fate: no achievement for her romance, you cannot continue the romance after ME2, and she will either take a poison pill and die or be killed in the Collector's Base/Citadel offscreen in ME3. If she survives both the base and the Cerberus attack, you won't even get to say goodbye to her before the final battle of the game. Bigots: 3, Representation: 0
9. And I almost forgot about Omega DLC that kills the only female turian in the game. Who's also into asari. God, they did her dirty.
"Those were different times," you might say, but all of this could have been fixed in 2019, when the Limited Edition was released. Instead, we just have fellow modders changing the design of Benezia and Samara, restoring MShenko (one of the most healthy, respectful, and mature romances in the entire trilogy) and other gay romances in the game, making all NPCs flirt with your character, adding female turians and krogans to the environment, etc., etc.
Still, I think these games are great. The characters, the cinematics, some aspects of the writing, great! I love that canon. But the LGBTQ+ representation in those games sucks. Big time. But that doesn't stop me from having a bunch of headcanons. For the sake of convenience, I'm going to separate out all the characters for the games in which they debut.
Mass Effect:
MaleShep/FemShep: Both are canonically bi. Both don't mind the alien physiology thing and polyamory. Both are "married to your job" type, so they were okay with casual sex and one-night stands, and only mellowed out while in charge of the Normandy crew. Because of convenience, both had more hetero than same-sex hookups.
Ashley: Straight as a plank and xenophobic, but not homophobic. She's definitely into maleShep, but more into the idea of him as a sole survivor/war hero/butcher of Torfan than an actual person.
Garrus: He likes turian and quarian women. And both fem and maleShep. But with maleShep, he's more busy with the whole "flirt him to death" aspect of their bromance, so there's really no time to get on the floor and get dirty.
I also feel that turian society in the game is very patriarchal, so Garrus has a bias towards femShep and feels less restricted by her rank. With mShep, I think he would have only acted if mShep had specifically pursued that relationship. But mShep is also more interested in just flirting with Garrus.
Kaidan: Canonically bisexual (more into women) and demi. Not into aliens, but not xenophobic. Not a stranger to casual sex, but would really prefer to go steady because #introverted and has enough problems already. "How can you flirt with all these people, Shepard, it's exhausting…"
Liara: She's into both versions of Shepard. And maybe a bit into one drell. Classic demi/asexual. Also, imo, all asari are agender and Liara is not an exception.
Tali: Is a mess and can definitely go cross-species (her romance with Garrus is canon, after all). She's also a massive nerd and a bit kinky. I think she's into human/turian/quarian males, but maybe this femShep really is THAT SPECIAL.
Wrex: Krogan women - that's his sexual orientation. Real bros with mShep, more cautious with femShep because bias. Another "married to his job" character.
Joker: Straight and nerdy. #Irony. Too cool for homophobia.
Chakwas: More married to her job than anyone on this list. Cool lesbian aunt.
And this post is already so long that I'll make a separate one for ME2 and 3.

Hey hey I don't know if I've asked you this already (if I have I'm so sorry I have the memory of a goldfish that embodies an orange cat ^^")
But
I'm planning on making my dol pcs in the Sims4 and I was wondering if it'd be alright if I did the same with yours? I wanna have my friends dol pcs live under a roof (and see what chaos will ensure and post about it xD) once I've set my computer back up and done all the updates...there are so MANY updates ;-;
I understand if that's not alright with you though ^^
Dearest, it is more than alright! In fact, I am really flattered that you'd like to recreate them in the Sims 💙
Pls do tag me whenever these little demons do stupid shit, because I know they will.
Tumblr media
Did a small relationship chart with the final school uniform designs to guide u a little.
Resumed description of each PC below
Hana is quite easy. She/them is obsessed with having a perfect academic record and is the most prideful person you'll ever encounter. No one can be better than her at school or she will lose her mind.
Partygoer, academic genius, socially dumb, can barely boil water and usually stresses herself to the point of fainting and bleeding. Prefers to talk things out. Smokes a lot, drinks a lot
Neat room, everything organized except from the amount of papers scattered around. Likes to show off trophies and medals. Tons of band posters. Her electric guitar is her most prized posession. Voice has an incredible range and is very powerful, thus a great singer
Hana crossdresses a lot to go out and such. Only wears female clothing at school. Extremely tall (1.95 cm). Doesn't know what to do with her life
Masculine body, fit but max ass. It's difficult to describe her, but some drawings give a hint of her body type
Kari is tricky. Really violent. Anger issues. Fights a lot. Scars on her arms which she covers wirh her clothes. Manipulative, really easy to anger. Cannot draw for shit. Prefers having short hair but is scared of being seen as less feminine.
Overdoses on pills regularly. Sexual things are a sensitive topic, but isn't above using her body to get what she wants. Really small (1.47cm). Does her best to be seen as an angel, has a meltdown if sometimes makes her realize she is less than pure.
Room looks like an elegant room of a hotel. Extremely fancy with expensive stuff, but it looks so soulless it hurts.
Really curvy body. Max tits and ass. You get what I am saying
You can make her chubby, though. She would be happier if she was chubby like when she was a child. Only thin because fear of not being seen as conventionally attractive.
May is the trickiest. Since she is "dead", most things are left up to how you want her to be.
Important stuff would be:
-Very meek,
-Loves space and anything related to it. Best subject used to be Science
-Very kind. Selfless to the point of being an imbecile.
-Loves nature and is a huge dreamer.
- Hobby is knitting and watching movies.
-Unlike the first two, she always dreamed of having a family. Doesn't matter if big or small.
That would be all to kinda build sims for them. You can DM me if you have any doubts!
Thank you for this opportunity, teademoness, dear! 💙💙

the thing about scottish miku is that scotland is in a really weird position re: national dress where everyone knows men's national dress and it's like the very first thing people all over the world imagine when they think of scotland, but women's traditional dress is several orders of magnitude less popular, less iconic, and less clearly defined. so a lot of people naturally want to use the men's costume to represent Scottishness even when the figure they're putting it on is a hyperfeminine female character. but at the same time, the men's costume is constantly stereotyped as being "women's clothing" and the men who wear it as "crossdressers", which obviously wouldn't be a bad thing if true, but it's NOT true. it's masculine clothing. not feminine. not neutral. strictly and exclusively masculine. and to be honest we've probably doubled down on this to counteract the stereotype, but like. this is the reality of the current situation. suits are men's clothing, but you still see women wearing suits pretty often. men's highland dress, what you think of when you imagine "a kilt"*, is men's clothing and women practically never wear it. i'm pretty sure i've never seen a woman wearing it. maybe in a pipe band? but piping is kind of a boy's club so few women play the pipes anyway. the point is that it's genuinely one of the last vestiges in our culture of women wearing men's clothes that still genuinely reads as crossdressing and i don't think a lot of people understand that. like i almost feel like i'm spreading misinformation / contributing to inaccurate stereotypes if i share a picture of a normally hyperfeminine woman in men's highland dress without a disclaimer. and there's ALSO kind of a stereotype of scottish women as masculine which again isn't inherently a bad thing but i still can't help but think of it. but at the end of the day it's free butch miku isn't it. hell yeah. i love u butch scottish miku
*a kilt is not simply a tartan skirt. but there are also women's kilts. but they're very different. it's complicated okay

The further we get away from 13s regeneration the more it annoys me that 14 didn’t regenerate into 13s clothes… like how is a t-shirt, 3/4 pants, a jacket and boots ‘drag’? Does RTD consider every man in women’s clothing to be dressing in ‘drag’? Because I don't think he would, I think generally he doesn’t care at all if men wear women’s clothes and who in the 'drag' community was he going to insult so badly, would drag queens be insulted in David Tennant wearing 13s costume? I'm confused and how was that more sensitive then insulting all the 13 fans, a lot who are minorities themselves, who stuck with the show through all the abuse over 6 years about there being a female Doctor. If you want to see David Tennant in women’s clothes, and what would be considered far more feminine then 13s outfit you don’t even need to look back very far he did in season 1 of Good Omens, so its not like those images aren't out there in the public domain.
So the more I think about it the more it feels Anti 13/Jodie, and I felt that at the time but as we go along the idea David Tennant couldn’t be seen in a pair of 3/4 pants just becomes more baffling. I don’t know how this could be seen in any other way then misogynistic because the reasoning that he gave at the time is a whole bottle of problematic in itself and he knew there was backlash to their being a female Doctor but then he deliberately did this and did not at all care how it would make women or non binary or trans people feel, even though some of those are groups he supposedly cares about. Is it actually in his mind that Women clearly have their place? Only as sidekicks, companions, story points... not as the Doctor? and this sours everything coming up because this act feels so viciously targeted.
Like what made David Tennent so special he couldn’t wear Jodies outfit? Especially because we know David wouldn’t have had a problem with it. And theres something in it that just feels like the show is saying we don’t care that you loved the show and championed it for the last 5 years under all the hate and misogyny, we care what the haters think and they’ll love seeing Jodies outfit burn and theres something sick in that feeling.
It's meant to be 2023, RTD has been super progressive in this castings and probably in his stories so why was Jodies outfit such a problem? We deserved better and this time I believe Jodie did deserved better.

Lady Tilley Arnold theory
spoilers alert I guess
Tumblr media
The main point of my theory is: Lady Tilley Arnold was her own "deceased" husband.
I know I know, but listen to me, the Bridgerton's makers do everything on purpose, every little detail of the clothes, environment, decor etc. And I have a bunch of prooves for my theory.
I don't know if that's a trans situation or just her wanting to be in that particular social role, but let's go.
1. Ok, the thing I noticed the first. Her cleavage zone looks unsual for the show. Her dresses look a little bit different than everyone's else. Less showing. And even when the cleavage aloows to show some boobs, that part of the dress often seems to be a little bit empty (which contrasts with the usual Bridgerton "push-up the boobies as much as possible" style a lot). Like the dress looks like a right shape, but her chest looks flat.
Tumblr media
2. Her room. It's dark colors. Green, brown. Do you know which rooms have the same color scheme in this show? Men's rooms. Anthony's cabinet, Colin's cabinet, Colin's bedroom, Lord Fetherington's cabinet and bedroom. Only the red curtains look a little bit too bright/a little bit off, like if someone added them without redecorating the whole room to just slightly change the mood.
Tumblr media
3. "I was married. He died." she said. Not "My husband died" or "I'm a widow", but this interesting wording. Sounds a little bit odd and smooth to tell the truth not telling the truth. Like old me died, new me is here right now.
Tumblr media
4. When Benedict meets her for the 2nd time, she's looking at the statue. Again, most things on this show are intentional and meaningful. And that scene took to long to be just random. She's looking at the statue, that looks like a Venus statue. And Venus is who? Feminity, all the woman things. If she was ment to be "not so feminine lady" that won't be a first thing to choose for her to stare at, u know. Then why is she looking at it? Because she's glad to be who she always felt she is. Just a suggetion. Or maybe it's connected to the Androgyny of Venus in some statues? Idk, I'm not a Greek mythology pro, but that seemed to be an interesting scene to me
Tumblr media
5. "Well, then you have misjudged me. I am all for brute strength. In fact, I much prefer it to aimless talking" she says. Which is interesting too. And right after that their dance happens. And it feels to me that there happens a conversation without words between them. While they're dancing, at some point she takes the male role and leads the dance. Benedict looks condused at first, but accepts it and they dance like this. (all the females are to the right, all the males are to the left, except for them) Was it "an action" instead of "the words" to discuss something?
Tumblr media
6. The music while they're dancing. I've seen some complains of the showrunners reusing the music from the season 2. People say like that was the family moment etc. etc. But I rewatched that scene from the 2nd season (during the Bridgerton+Shama ball when no one came and they danced with each other) and it was not about the family. It was about the harmony, the harmony with yourself and being whoever you feels right to be without looking at what is and what is not appropriate for the sosciety. Which suits Lady Tilley and Benedict's dance if my theory is correct pretty nicely.
Tumblr media
7. During their making out scene in her bed, her chest is covered with the cloth. Bridgerton show is usually not too shy to show nudity and if they need to not show female body, they prefer to use pretty underwear, but not such trick as cloth. Interesting, that in a promo for the 2nd part of season 3 she's in the bed wearing the drak robe. Which is again not too Bridgerton-y or feminine.
Tumblr media
8. While in her bed, Benedict is on the righ side of the bed and she is on the left one. I was rewatching the older season and noticed that every time they show the spouses' bed there's the husband who's on the left side of the bed (Violet Bridgerton, Mondrich, Bassets, Kate+Anthony). Why? Because that's originally her part of the bed since you know... my theory.
Tumblr media
9. "You're MY solicitor" she says to a solicitor when Benedict visits her. Usually solicitor works with male only. In the Queen Charlotte spin-off show Lady Danbury even says that solicitor would probably refuse to talk to her, so she decided not to sign her name saying "Better he think I'm an impolite man". And you know what? At the same time there's a person who looks at the inheritance documents and search for the frauds. What if he has questions to her "husbans"'s will papers and now her solicitor has to provide her some better papers to convince the inspector. "I shall retern with things in order" he replies. She also asks Benedict if he came to "overcharge her as well", so she either has a lack of money or she has to pay her solicitor an overcharged sum. What if it's the silence fee?

10. Well, and their first interaction with Benedict was "My apologies, I thought you were a... - A man?". And that's her first line ever in the show is. You may say "C'mon, teal, she's just a lady with male interests", BUT! the only scene that points at it is this one. She's pretty feminine all the other times and everyone of the ton talks to her like she's a lady. No shade. No judjment (like when they speak about Eloise during previous seasons or Anthony joking on Kate being able to shoot). If that was the point there would be more than one moment/line pointing at that.

I hope you enjoyed my little theory. Anyway, the 2nd part of the season is just in a week from now and we'll find out if I'm right or wrong UwU
Thank you for your attention~

what is androgyny? how do i be more androgynous?
we get this question a lot- a lot of people are curious about what being androgynous means, and what it means to present androgynously. some people believe they want to be more androgynous, but struggle with how to integrate that into their comfort zone. here are some tips and some information on what androgyny is, and how to accomplish it, from an intersex androgyne.
what is androgyny?
androgyny is a state where one's gendered behaviors, presentation, roles, and so on, feature both masculine and feminine elements at the same time. androgyny is not to be confused with total gender neutrality, or genderlessness- androgyny is often times very pointedly "both male and female", and this is the distinction between the two presentation styles and identities.
how can i be/look/present androgynous?
figure out which elements of masculinity and femininity call to you, especially, if you think androgyny, and not gender neutrality is right for you. if you like feminine clothing like skirts and 'women's' shoes, you don't have to forego wearing them just because you prefer to wear men's everything else. the point of being androgynous is to pointedly wear very feminine + masculine things at the same time.
facial + body hair with women's clothing are a wonderful combo, don't be afraid to wear bulky men's jackets, blue collar working clothes, thick flannels, and other hyper masculine clothing with tights, skirts, short shorts, body suits, leggings- creativity is the name of the game. there is no one way to be androgynous, the only goal is to combine masculinity and femininity at once. if you are seeking to gain a completely genderless appearance, you are looking for gender neutrality, not androgyny.
not all men and women dress the same, by the way, so you may just want to take the time to search and look at different men and women's clothing to see if there are different styles that appeal to you. if you are alternative, look into alternative clothing for both men and women, if you are into high fashion, combine elements from both men's and women's outfits- bulky masculine jewelry can change a look drastically, or, delicate feminine necklaces and earrings can make a statement.
have fun with the way you wear your hair. you can do literally whatever you want- try men's and women's hair cuts of all types. you will have a few you hate, but it's worth trying. if you really find that you hate shopping for shoes, you may just be shopping in the wrong gender's section. same goes for any other garment. you may naturally just find yourself wanting to combine mens and women's clothing- let yourself do that. don't feel like you "have" to dress any type of way- literally be free. break the binary in your head that outfits have to be 100% male OR female, masc OR fem
play with combining masculine and feminine names, terms, pronouns, roles, and so on. be a guy who's a wife. be a girl who's a husband, be a male girlfriend, a female boyfriend, a male mother, a female father, etc. combine gendered pronouns and use he/she or she/he together. call yourself both a boy and a girl in the same sentence. break the binary in your head that a person can only use 1 set of gendered terms at once!
drag is absolutely an option here and encouraged- please play around with drag looks. experiment with gender and go nuts with it- be over the top masculine one day and over the top femme the next. wear extremely garish, campy, ridiculous looks that highlight the enjoyable parts of your gendered presentation and have fun with it. don't be afraid of drag, drag loves androgynous ppl
what if xyz men's/women's articles of clothing, being referred to by male/female pronouns/names/etc., being seen as a man/woman make me dysphoric?
androgyny may not be for you- if you are very strongly dysphoric, and struggle with being called by the "opposite" gender's pronouns, names, etc. and struggle with wearing strongly gendered men's or women's clothing, androgyny is not for you. it's totally okay if you need to avoid things that make you dysphoric, just know that in being androgynous, you are adopting both 'male' (andro) and 'female' (gyn-) appearances, roles, presentation, and so on.
can being more androgynous help me with dysphoria?
androgyny can also help you cope with dysphoria, however, if you are in a stage of your transition where you are capable of being okay with being misgendered in a sardonic way, or are okay with seeing your agab as a separate identity, or a part of you, without invalidating your current gender. many trans people do in fact identify as both, or as a "guy who was a girl" or a "girl who was a guy," etc. it's okay if you want to play with both genders once you've lived as both for a while. it's fun. it's cool. it's sexy
how do you find out if you are androgynous/if androgyny fits you? does every androgynous person choose to be androgynous?
every person's journey is different. some of us are born like this- i am intersex and am naturally very androgynous. my body is very much 50/50 "male and female," so to speak. nature did not cleanly put me in one box or the other, i fell right between. so for me, adopting androgyny was a way of coping and healing and being myself- i did choose the labels, but i didn't choose my identity, if that makes sense. i've always been a genderfucker, personally, and i've always loved being "both", a "boygirl" a, a "he-she", a dyke AND a faggot, and so on. just be mindful that intersex people don't choose our traits, so many of us are just born like this and want to be ourselves. perisex people who choose to become androgynous are just as cool and important
if you like being a boygirl, a girlboy, a boy and a girl, a girl who's a boy and a boy who's a girl, whatever the case, you very well could be an androgynous person. the sky is the limit, but just remember that there are some basics. if you are avoiding gendered presentation, androgyny isn't right for you. but if you love combining male and female aspects of gender and being a "both", it could be right for you. good luck, take care.
